A.N. — The Yule Ball takes place on Christmas (obviously), and these twins have waited all year to be featured because of that. Only one of their drabble will deal with their disastrous dates, though. This one tackles another obvious subject of theirs.
358. Padma Patil
Padma Patil can't sleep, her first night in Ravenclaw tower.
She'd never spent a night without Parvati sharing her bedroom. The other girls had all fallen asleep just fine, yet Padma sat huddled against the headboard, knees drawn up against her chest, arms wrapped around them, failing to find comfort.
Padma was sorted into the house of the smart, and Parvati was sent to the home of the brave. Padma would never wish ill upon Parvati, but she bet her twin nodded off with no issue. Meanwhile, Padma was tormented, wondering if she could survive seven whole years of this.
