A.N. — It really feels like the end is coming, with today being the last person of Harry's age group at Hogwarts I'll cover. It might be Christmas, but I'm feeling a bit wistful. Today's character certainly isn't, though.

Parvati liked being the center of attention. As part of a matched set, that was sometimes hard to achieve. But having Harry Potter as her Yule Ball date meant every eye would be on her.

She lamented that she ever wanted that spotlight.

After the champions' opening, Harry had never asked her to dance, not once! All the attendees got to see Parvati sulking on the sidelines while Potter eyed up Cho Chang instead of her. Salvaging the night seemed a lost cause until a Beauxbatons boy offered Parvati an out. Then the Boy Who Lived died in Parvati's heart.
