A.N. — At this point, I hope it's clear who I have left. These next four need no introduction, but are left begging for an explanation: how did four alliteratively-named people come together to found a school? Let's start with the most reviled of the bunch.
360. Salazar Slytherin
Together, they were powerful and creative enough to make a magically inert room for potion brewing. Yet, he was banished to the dungeons. For Salazar Slytherin, this was enough to solidify the rift between him and the other founders.
Salazar held more extreme views than his contemporaries, had studied branches of magic they wouldn't touch. Each had their specialties, yet only Salazar was looked down upon for his expertise.
All their talents were needed to construct Hogwarts, but were its creators still necessary now that it was open? Salazar was sure it'd persevere without him feeling trapped within its walls.
