This will be a slice of life mini arc, and it's going to be split into multiple parts. I just wanted to release this short tid bit, just to give you guys something to read until I write more of the parts.

I'm thinking that this Dinner Party Arc, completely lacking fighting and mostly just wholesome fun, will be between three to four chapters.

The author's notes are at the bottom, please enjoy!

The dinner party was going to take place in the backyard, where Kushina could show off her garden and artificial hot-spring swimming pool, while Minato could host the party. Being Minato's mentor and his sons' Godfather, Jiraiya was the first one to show up before the party was scheduled. Complimenting his student's house and family, especially his beautiful red-headed wife, Jiraiya made sure to help set up the backyard for various activities that he planned for the night, such as outdoor karaoke on the porch, and billiard with the new pool-table that he had brought over as a gift.

Being the man that he was, Jiraiya decided to partake in some pre-game drinking with Minato, who at first was reluctant to crack a cold one open with his mentor, but it didn't take much for the white-haired man to talk the hokage into giving in to temptation. So, after the two men had helped Kushina with finishing up the final touches for their Friday night shindig, Minato and Jiraiya took their bottles of beer outside and took their seats by the artificial rocky-waterfall at the edge of the large swimming pool.

Taking off his red tunic and undermesh so that his aged yet muscular body could soak up the sun, Jiraiya let out a relaxed sigh before laying back on the reclining beach chair, next to where his shirtless student was sitting up right. "So, Mr. Big Shot, how have ya been?" Jiraiya asked with a half-cock smirk, before raising the bottom of his bottle up toward the sky, so that the cold-golden beer could funnel down the bottle neck and down into his gullet.

Taking a sip of his own drink, Minato let out an exhaled breath before chuckling. "Been doing' pretty good, I would say. How about you, 'Gramps', how's life in Sunagakure?" Minato asked with a playful look on his face, and watched as Jiraiya let out a hearty laugh after being called 'Gramps'.

"Oh?! I'm the old guy now?! Take a look in the mirror 'pretty boy', your age is starting to show itself!" Jiraiya shot back with a cackle, before muffling his laughter with another long gulp of beer. "AH! That's the good stuff, right there… Oh, yeah, Sunagakure— I almost forgot, haha," Jiraiya chuckled, before reaching down to the fancy designer-brand leather bag by the foot of his chair.

Going through the contents of his 'Louis Vuitton' bag, Jiraiya pulled out an expensive looking digital camera— navigating through its menu until he opened up the library of photos he had saved on its SSD card. "Here, take a gander at these bad boys…! Straight from 'Sin Village' herself," Jiraiya said with a wide and perverse smile across his face, as he handed Minato the digital camera.

Scrolling his fingers across the screen, swiping from photo-to-photo, Minato saw the pictures that Jiraiya had saved on his camera ranged from scenic photographs of Sunagakure's neon lights at night, to selfies of him after winning the jackpot of whatever casino he was in, to pictures of strippers and various nude women that the old man had take pictures of.

Snickering and shaking his head, Minato took another sip of his drink and paused once he got to the picture of his mentor posing next to a shiny-red machine on four wheels that the shinobi didn't recognize. "Hey Gramps, what's that thing you're kneeling down beside?"

Instantly becoming playfully smug, Jiraiya raised a brow at the naive hokage as he reached into his bag to pull out a ring of keys before jingling them at Minato. "That, blonde, is called a 'car'— specifically, you're looking at my latest purchase: Mazda HR-X3," Jiraiya stated proudly, and took a few moments to wait for Minato to continue to ogle at it before continuing on with his explanation.

"Compared to the typical shinobi, it's not fast— but that's not the point of driving it. It's meant for leisure, and of course pulling in the babes— and going grocery shopping, of course," Jiraiya said, while silently thinking about how inconvenient it used to be for him to have to carry his purchases on foot or by horse-drawn carriage. "Pretty expensive, won't lie, but there's cheaper options and it's always relaxing driving down the strip with the radio on… I'd let you drive it, if you ever got off your moral throne and came down to visit me down in Sunagakure for a spell."

Although Minato himself had considered visiting the newly re-established village of hidden sand ever since they transformed into the 'Entertainment Capital of the World', he knew that with the city's infamous reputation that he had garnished over the past twenty years that such a vacation was out of the question. "There's no way Kushina would let me go there myself, let alone take a trip with the kids down there… That place is riddled with drugs and prostitution, and other shady crap…"

"Pffft! Man, I forgot how pussy-whipped you are!" Jiraiya laughed out teasingly, and continued to cackle while downing the rest of his drink— all while Minato glared at him. Putting his empty bottle down by the foot of his chair, Jiraiya noticed his student's deadpanned expression and quickly waved his hand at him. "Tch, don't look at me like that, kid— I was just giving you some shit was all!"

And while Jiraiya was turning Minato's frown upside down with some of his charismatic banter, Kushina was dressed in her usual green romper and white undershirt, and was inside when she heard the doorbell ring. "I'm coming, hold on!" Kushina called out from the kitchen, before finishing the touches on the salad she wanted to include with the chicken katsu strips she had made for dinner. Washing her hands in the sink, Kushina dried them on the towel she kept hung on the rack of her oven handle before making her way through the white-painted walls of her home, until she came to the front door.

Opening the door, Kushina was greeted with the smiling face of her best friend, Mikoto, and her husband, Fugaku, and their three children: Itachi, Sasuke, and Sarada. "Hey! How are ya doing?!" Kushina greeted with a happy look on her face, and extended her arms out to invite Mikoto in for a hug.

Handing her husband the heavy pot filled with homemade bao buns, Mikoto took a step forward and wrapped her arms around the red-headed kunoichi's body to accept the hug. "I'm doing great Kushina— thank you very much for asking," Mikoto replied with a calm demeanor in her voice, and took a step back beside her family once the hug had ended. "Thank you for hosting the dinner party at your beautiful home, Kushina— it's always a treat to visit you and your family."

"And it's a pleasure to have you guys over! My family's house is your family's house, Mikoto— BELIEVE IT!!!" Kushina shouted excitedly without even noticing that she'd said her family's catchphrase. "Come on in guys! Make yourselves at home," Kushina said with a wide smile on her face, as she took a step back to allow for the Uchiha clan to come inside.

Once inside, Mikoto instructed Fugaku to place the pot of steamed buns on top of the stove. While Mikoto and Kushina stayed inside to catch up over a bottle of sake, Fugaku and his children went outside to the backyard. Changing in the outdoor pool house, Fugaku told Sasuke and Sarada to go off and let the 'adults' talk— taking Itachi with him, as they made their way toward where Minato and Jiraiya were sitting.

Snickering while watching as Fugaku and his eldest son were approaching them, Jiraiya playfully raised his arms up to surrender. "Ah shit, I knew you assholes would catch up to me eventually…! I swear to God, officers— I have a medical card for it!" Jiraiya said half-jokingly, while making a nod to the fact that the old shinobi was very much a pothead in his off time— something that he had gotten arrested for plenty of times before it was made legal.

"And I'm sure 'Dr. Feelgood' is an actual medical practitioner, and isn't just a song by 'Motley Crue'," Fugaku shot back sarcastically with a half-playful look on his face. "How's it going, you old bastard? I'm surprised you're still alive," Fugaku said with a chuckle, before being handed an ice-cold beer by Jiraiya, who had made it a priority to bring the ice chest toward their corner after getting tired of making the short journey to the outdoor bar, all the way across the swimming pool.

Handing the bottle to Itachi before being handed another one by Jiraiya, Fugaku and Minato stared at one another for a brief moment of time— the two men silently acknowledging one another and the past they shared, before nodding at one another. "Hey there, Uchiha… You came back to get your ass handed to you, huh?" Minato asked with a serious expression on his face, as he finished the rest of his beer before placing the empty glass down on the concrete beneath his seat.

Crossing his bulky arms across his large chest, Fugaku glared down into the blue eyes of his rival, before letting out a sarcastic chuckle. "Don't make me laugh, Namikaze— You got lucky last time. My boy and I are going to defeat you and your geriatric stoner to the ground," Fukagu said with pride in his voice, while Itachi awkwardly stood there and sipped on his drink, while Jiraiya let out an uneasy laugh.

"Ah shit, here we go again…" Jiraiya said with an amused smirk across his face, before he and Minato got up from their chairs so that they could make their way alongside Fugaku and Itachi toward the pool table beneath the awning of the backyard porch— the same pool table that Minato and Jiraiya had claimed victory over, the last time the two of them had gone against Fugaku and Itachi.

While the four men were chalking up the tips of their pool cues, Sasuke and Sarada were sitting down at the edge of the swimming pool with their feet in the water— not saying much and instead just relaxing and listening in to the music being played through the large outdoor speakers that the Uzumaki family had hidden within the false-hollow rocks within the backyard. Their moment of solitaire tranquillity didn't last long, however.

After being told by Kushina that the Uchiha clan had finally came over, Karin Uzumaki, who had been living with her aunt ever since the destruction of their clan twenty years ago, finally emerged out of her upstairs bedroom to make her way downstairs and out to where she saw Sasuke sitting alone beside his younger sister. Making sure that her three-piece purple bathing suit was complimenting her curvy figure well, Karin tried to look conspicuous as she casually made her way over toward her crush with a beer in hand.

Needing to push the black rim of her eyeglasses up the bridge of her nose after taking her seat between Sarada and Sasuke, Karin tried looking cool by downing a long gulp of beer before letting out a satisfied sigh. "Hey guys, how's it going?" Karin asked with a smirk, while slowly scooting away from Sarada and closer to where Sasuke was looking back at her with his usual stoic-bored expression.

"Good afternoon, Karin— it's good to see you," Sasuke said with a nod, while subtly looking down the red-headed girl's face to take a quick peek at her exposed cleavage.

Knowing fully well what Karin was trying to do, Sarada frowned and let out an annoyed sigh as she looked down beneath the surface of the water to stare at her own feet. "Hello," was all Sarada said— knowing fully well that she was about to become the third wheel to the conversation.

Wanting to seem cool, Karin gave Sasuke a sly look on her blushing face before quickly glancing over toward the other adults who were too preoccupied with their game of pool to pay them any mind— all except for Jiraiya, who silently gave his Goddaughter an urgent nod of a approval, as if though tell her to hurry up before the other three and more responsible men took notice of what she was about to do.

Quietly mouthing a 'thank you' to Jiraiya, who made sure to position himself so that the three men were looking over at him instead of anywhere near her, Karin quietly leaned in and whispered, "Here Sasuke, take a sip— I know you want to."

While Sasuke had never once been tempted by the thought of alcohol, finding it rather repugnant in fact, he didn't want to make Karin feel awkward about her trying to do him a favor by offering him a sip of her drink. "Thank you," Sasuke whispered quietly with a gentle smile, before taking a gulp of beer before handing the bottle back to the giggling red-head— something that bothered Sarada, while it amused Jiraiya.

Pressing her knees up against her chest, while blushing even more the moment her fingers brushed up against Sasuke's hand as he handed her the bottle back, Karin snickered nervously while nodding. "Yeah, no problem… So, ummm… Turning eighteen in a couple weeks, aren't you? Excited?"

Shrugging his shoulders, Sasuke thought how he would answer the red-headed girl's question before finally nodding. "Yes, I think I am? I'm not looking forward to the police academy— I fear it's going to be repetitive and too easy," Sasuke admitted with a frown.

"Oh? I guess that makes sense— seeing your family practically is in charge of the military police, I'm assuming that you pretty much know everything that there is to know about being a cop, don't you? Plus, you've already done a lot of missions, most of them being 'S-Rank' and whatnot, so… Yeah, it might actually be a bit slow for someone of your caliber" Karin mused, while acknowledging the fact that Sasuke was an accomplished individual, outside of his family's ties with Konoha's police force. "But hey, you get what you put in, right? At least, uh… At least that's what my aunt's husband kept telling me, until I got that job at Anteiku."

Finding truth in the hokage's sentiment, Sasuke nodded agreeingly before turning the conversation's attention toward Karin. "True, but I won't have to subject myself to that until next year, so there's that… By the way, how's being the assistant manager for Anteiku treating you? I've had their coffee before, I really do enjoy the cappuccinos they sell there."

Smiling embarrassingly at the question, Kushina chuckled while combing her fingers through her long red-hair. "Oh, I-I actually love working there. My manager is a little older than me, but she's really cool… I know it's nothing important like being a cop or a full-time ninja, but… I like it, and it pays pretty well too," Karin admitted, while also being brave enough to acknowledge that her aspirations were a lot lower than Sasuke's.

"… You know, so long as you're doing what makes you happy, I don't think you should compare yourself to others. And honestly, I'm certain of the fact that your coffee's probably saved more lives and marriages than anything my family's ever done," Sasuke said half-jokingly, which made Karin feel a whole lot better.

"Hehe, it's uh, it's really cool that you think that, Sasuke— thanks," Karin said with an appreciative tone in her voice, and felt her heart beginning to race in her chest as she mustered up the courage to move on to what she wanted to talk to the shinobi about. "Hey, umm, since you mentioned that you're free for the most part until next year, uhh… I was wondering for your birthday, or even after, if you would be interested in going to a concert with me?"

Interested in the offer of spending time alone with a woman who was as curvy and easy-to-get-along-with as Karin was, Sasuke thought about it before asking, "… What kind of concert did you have in mind?"

And there we have it, I introduced Jiraiya and the Uchiha clan, as well as Karin. Next chapter will have Naruto, Sakura, Boruto, Mitsuki, Kaneki, and Haise.

I read all the reviews and don't really have time to go into detail again, just know that I greatly appreciate the feedback and ideas! Will definitely have Konan be Eto's adoptive mother, and go with the idea that she used to be Kaneki and Haise's team leader back at Amegakure, before being transferred to Konan while Kaneki and Haise transferred out of Amegakure's ninja academy to pursue other goals. Kaneki wanted to become a kanji professor, and Haise became an investigator.

Glad the Naruto x Sakura smut was appreciated, and I'll probably be sticking to more romance inspired smut, rather than just loveless sex or just sex that's entirely for the sake of porn.

Okay that's it for now, cya next time.
