Liana. She was seen stripped naked with a cross carved onto her chest going down to her torso. Which also led to the words which read, 'Whore' carved into her stomach. She was nailed through her hands to the front wall of the hotel on a cross with blood dripping down from the balcony she was nailed to. Snow hadn't moved an inch since discovering his girlfriend like this. He couldn't move. But, when her eyes shot open. the bloody holes showed. That was when the dream ended for Snow.
"LIANA!"

"NO!"
"I see you're finally awake, Snowball."
The male looked around from inside of the bed he laid upon for the source of the voice that had spoken to him. When he saw his sister and Molly walk toward him and take a seat at his bedside. That was when Lazarus acknowledged them.
"Thena, Miss Molly. Where the hell am I?"
"We're in Heaven, Snow. For our protection."
That was Molly who had answered the bedridden male's question. This leads to Snow trying to get up and run. Only for his ribs to cry out in agony and, drop the male to the ground. Luckily, Athena was on hand to help him stand back up to his feet. Using his sister's arm for support. Lazarus got back into the bed he was in when Mizael walked through the door with the hooded woman who had saved Snow and Zerachiel.
"Good to see you are up and about, Lazarus. How are you feeling?"
"Like a mack truck just hit me."
Mizael chuckles lowly at Snow's response to his question. As he approached the male's bedside with a cloth in his hands. Snow recognised the sword that he'd thought he'd lost back in Hell. That was when the memories began flooding him again of what had happened. This led to him having to be pinned down by his sister when he began shouting.
"THAT BLEEPER CAIN!"
"Calm down, Snow. You can't go back to Hell. Not since Cain spun his little tale of how you burned down Charlie's hotel. And, YOU killed Liana and Vaggie in the crossfire."
Lazarus looked at Molly like she was crazy. They hadn't seriously believed what they'd been told before they had to evacuate with this angel standing by Snow's bedside with his sword in hand. Relaxing long enough for Athena to let him go from her restraint. Lazarus couldn't help but let the tears loose from his eyes at what he'd been through in the past twenty-four hours. This leads to Athena wrapping her brother up in a hug and, in doing so, offering a shoulder for her brother to cry on.
Mizael, kind of knew what the young man was going through. He'd lost his wife years ago during the angel/demon war of 1943. After that, he just threw himself into his work. That was until three years ago when he met the young woman who stood behind him.
Emily was the only girl Mizael would take in after finding out she had a problem with her wings. You see readers. When an angel is five years old. They learn to fly with the wings that God had granted them at birth. But, when it was found out that, Emily wasn't a particularly strong flyer. Her parents left her for dead on the streets. After she had stumbled upon Mizael one day while begging for food. The veteran soldier had taken pity on the five-year-old and, gave her a place to stay. Since then, after her parents tried to come back into the, now, twenty-one-year-old woman's life. Mizael had protected the young woman from the certain explosion that could follow from an all-out fight between himself, and the young woman's former parents. A fight he would, almost certainly, win.
It was during that time that, Emily had made friends with a late bloomer who hadn't received his wings when he was five. That late bloomer you may ask? Try the man who was crying for his dead girlfriend. That was who Emily was a childhood friend. But, if the two wanted to reconnect. It had to wait since Mizael was about to address Snow on why he was back in heaven after twenty years.
"I suppose you have questions on why you are here, Lazarus?"
The male nods in reply to the gruff angel veteran's question. This leads to Athena asking something that should have been addressed the moment Snow awakened.
"Where's Zack? Surely he'd like to know our baby brother is awake?"
That was when Emily answered from her spot against the wall behind Mizael.
"Zerachiel is awake. He is just checking if your old home is still under the protection barrier Cassiel placed on it years ago. And, he is making the necessary arrangements with the almighty to have all four of you re-homed as soon as possible within your childhood home once again, Athena."
The female nods to confirm she understood. It had felt like an eternity since she had seen her old home again that she had grown up. But, looking back at her uncharacteristically quiet brother. The look she had told her that. If they moved back into their old home. Lazarus would be able to heal his wounds. Both, physically, and emotionally, within the home, he was born.
The four former demon's thoughts are interrupted the moment Zerachiel walks back into the room from outside. With a sad smile on his face. He spoke to his twin, his baby brother and his fiancée at the same time.
"The almighty has our old home ready to be moved back into. We can move in once we are ready to go."
This was when Zerachiel looked at his surprisingly quiet brother. The last time the two had seen each other. Zerachiel was pinned to the floor by one of Snow's swords, Crowley because of Cain. He'd witnessed the fight between his brother and Charlie's brother. And, honestly, Zerachiel had never seen such raw, untapped power burst forth as Snow's had against Cain. Though Snow had lost. Zerachiel had built a new layer of respect for his brother that told the older of the two one thing. Lazarus didn't need to be protected anymore, from anyone.
Later
After bidding farewell to Mizael and his adopted daughter, Emily. The four began their flight path towards their childhood home. Well, Molly sat upon Zerachiel's back while Athena carried Snow on her back towards the home. Once the four were out of Mizael's line of sight. He sighs before walking past Emily at the front door to his little home on the outskirts of Heaven.
Seeing her father looking solemn the moment he sat down in his armchair. Emily asks.
"Everything okay pops?"
Mizael didn't need to look at Emily when he let out an 'eh' from his lips to acknowledge the woman he had taken in years ago as his daughter. Once fully seated, he says to his daughter.
"Sarathiel predicted Lazarus Snow would return one day. And, she guessed correctly that, he wouldn't be the same little boy I knew when Cassiel and Kai were alive."
This was when Mizael spoke directly to the woman preparing her adoptive father's coffee before bringing it over to the elder angel. Taking a sip from the steaming brew. Mizael speaks after letting out a sigh of contentment.
"I need you to reconnect with the Snows, Emily. They've been gone from the almighty's good graces for so long. Everything will be alien to them. I need you to help them settle back into the angel lifestyle again. Can you do that, sweetheart?"
Emily nods happily before replying.
"Of course, pops. I'd be happy to help!"
Mizael chuckles. The thoughts of yesteryear when two six-year-old children used to annoy the daylights out of him with their antics. That was until Cassiel told off young Lazarus for getting on the veteran angel's nerves. This had led to Kai telling his wife to relax and, in his words to 'let the children be young and innocent, Cassie. They are only young once.'
That was hours before Cassiel lost Kai to a demon in Hell. She'd been the rare exception of an angel loving a demon. But, the moment Cassiel lost her husband. She wasn't the same. Though she tried to love again. Her heart wasn't into it again like it once had been for Kai. Now the Snow children's parents were both gone. And, the three children were on the run from Hell's royal family now. Mizael would soon have to repay his debt and his promise to Cassiel and Kai. Meaning, he would watch out for the three children if they ever returned to Heaven under any circumstances.

As the camera pans around past Athena and Zerachiel. The camera lands on Snow as he cuts downwards and diagonally to reveal the story's title in faded gold writing.

The first shot shows Lazarus sitting by the window of his old family home. Mizael's daughter, Emily. Is seen standing behind him next to the door when the camera focuses on her gripping her cross in the palm of her left hand.

The next shot is of Zerachiel staring down Balthazar. The two haven't drawn their swords yet as they just glare at each other from the opposite sides of the battlefield.

In the third shot. Athena is standing with Persephone in her arms while the shadows of Metatron and Uriel appear behind her on each side. Possibly hinting at something involving her two-year-old daughter in the future.

The last shot shows Emily walking along a street in Heaven. The rain is pouring down around her while she walks. She stops halfway when she sees old man Mizael standing under an umbrella, awaiting her approach.

The next shot of Lazarus's wings finally opening upon his back. One black wing made of bones on his right side. And, one pure white angel wing on his left side.

A shot of Lazarus staring down at Metatron gripping Emily by her neck is what awaits the male. Who, recently, has just discovered he is a Genesis. He is seen screaming in silent fury while the camera pans around him.

The next shot is of Lazarus standing on a rooftop of a building. When the camera focuses on him. He smiles into the camera before jumping down into action to protect a pure soul.
The rumbling sound pierced my ears

A crazed Cain appears in front of the burning wreckage of his sister's hotel. The same smirk he held when he did what he did while Lazarus was in Hell. It never leaves his face before it pans out to show him in a new location. The royal guard is now under his control. It was not the royal guard Lazarus and Zerachiel once served with honour.

Charlie is seen sitting on the bed that once belonged to her childhood friend. She sat with the bedsheet held close to her face as her make-up ran down from her eyes, and down her cheeks. She knew her friend had been framed. But, she couldn't do anything about it.

Lazarus is seen being sworn into Uriel's extermination squad for the upcoming extermination to happen on New Year's Eve. Deep down, even though Uriel didn't know this. Lazarus's blade would not touch a single denizen. He had his agenda for New Year's Eve. Find the throat of one Cain Morningstar. And, remove his head for what he did to Liana and Vaggie.

Zerachiel had his agenda too. Though Lazarus would be too preoccupied with his vendetta against Cain. The older brother of Lazarus was still focused on bringing down Balthazar for Raziel's murder.

The rematch between Lazarus and Cain takes place amidst burning buildings. Neither party will let up their offence while swords clashed and, sparks flew from the metal that was clashing.

Athena finds herself trying to defend her daughter from some unknown assailants working for Uriel. They'd gotten wind that Athena had had her child with her this whole time. She and Molly are fighting to stop the angels from trying to take Persephone from her mother.

Lazarus and Emily are seen laid together in the soft grass of a meadow somewhere in Heaven. The two are sleeping peacefully while Athena, Zerachiel and Molly are sitting on a cobblestone wall. The three are seen looking out towards the horizon.
