"There are three guys standing guard."

While it was dark, Kohta was using his scope, which he had positioned on an assault rifle, to look at a huge warehouse, which was watched by a few people. Behind him, the rest of the band remained silent, while each of them were now equipped with a firearm.

Nevertheless, despite this, Takashi, Kawamoto and Tsunoda were not at all reassured by the idea of attacking a gang of yakuza. For his part, stamping his foot, Ken seemed eager for the start of the attack to begin. Having only the image of his mother's corpse, he wanted to avenge her, even if it meant dying tonight.

"Are we really going to do this?" Kawamoto asked. "Are we really going to fight them?"

Unable to calm her tremors, the young girl looked at the gun she had in her hand.

"I don't want to die...and I don't want to kill another person! For what? Why do we have to do this?"

"Because this world forces us to." Affirmed Lux. "And if it's not today, surely tomorrow we will have to fight against another group! You must understand that in the coming days our worst enemies will not be the zombies, but the humans."

Then, putting his hand on Kohta's shoulder, he affirmed.

"Kohta...I prefer to warn you right away! The success of our plan...will depend solely on you."

Hearing this, the boy felt his heartbeat increase, as Lux declared.

"You will stay here and take care of all the people outside! I have confidence in your shooting skills! However, remember that you must not hesitate to shoot! Because your enemies will not hesitate never to kill you, whenever the opportunity presents itself."

Remaining silent, Kohta felt a bead of sweat appear on his forehead, before trickling down his entire face. Having to kill people...save a person's life...become the main asset of his team...it was a lot of pressure. And the boy wondered if he was up to it.

He knew how to shoot. He would never hesitate to kill a zombie. But was it really the same with humans? Wouldn't he hesitate and allow the enemy to kill him?

Trying to maintain his composure, the boy began to think of something he liked. Something that might distress him. At first he thought of food. Then to video eyes. He even thought about the list of firearms they would like to obtain. However, nothing seemed to allow him to calm his anxiety.

Suddenly, a face appeared in his mind. And, in an instant, Kohta recognized Saya's face, putting on a frustrated look, while averting her gaze to the side, while pouting.

Immediately, the boy flashed a small smile, before inhaling a large amount of air. Managing to be perfectly calm, he declared.

" You can count on me. "

Nodding, Lux then looked at Rei.

"You stay with him."

" Me why ? "

"We don't know how many there are and if they're all in this warehouse! If it is, other guys have decided to settle in the buildings around the hangar! If they hear Kohta's shots, they might decide to come here to kill him! Kohta can't afford to be distracted by these guys! So that would be up to you."

"Hey, hold on." Takashi shouted. "There's no way I'm letting you put Rei in such a dangerous position."

"Dangerous?" Lux repeated. "Hey, wake up! Each of us is likely to die within the next hour, including Kohta or me! There is no place that will be less dangerous than another! Besides, the noise that "We'll surely alert the zombies! If we act disorganized, we may get surrounded by these monsters, even if we manage to kill Fatty and his men."

Understanding the situation, Rei finally nodded.

"I get it! Either way, if Kohta can secure us victory, I understand the value of protecting him! I won't disappoint you."

"But...Rei..." Takashi wanted to stop her.

"Stop overprotecting me." His former grilfriend ordered him. "I am able to protect myself on my own."

"And us?" Kawamoto asked. " What are we doing ? "

"We'll split into two groups." Lux explained. "You and Takashi will go with Ken! I'll be with Tsuna."

"Why am I still with you?" Tsunoda growled.

"Because I'm afraid of seeing you run away, if you ever see danger! At least, with me, you won't be able to run away."

" Grrrr ! "

"If everyone's okay with this, here we go." Lux announced.

Drowsily, one of the men guarding the warehouse began to yawn. Seeing him do this, another man nudged him to wake him up.

"Hey, be more vigilant."

"What? Do you really think someone is going to attack us?"

"Idiot! It's not humans I'm afraid of! It's the zombies! Those monsters can appear from anywhere to grab your arm and bite it! You should have seen how one of them bit Kirino's neck! He was walking next to a car, when the zombie broke a window of the vehicle and grabbed his head! It happened so fast that Kirino was bitten before we could react. "

" Tsss! Impossible to be surprised. " Retorted the third guard. "There is no hiding place around us."

Indeed, being in front of the warehouse, Fatty's men had a perfect view of the street in front of them, while they had removed all the obstacles that could have prevented them from targeting a zombie, who would have had the bad idea to s approach them.

Suddenly, footsteps were heard. Immediately raising their firearms, the trio spotted a figure approaching them.

" Who is here ? "

"Is it a zombie?"

"Don't... Don't shoot, please."

Illuminated by a flashlight, Kawamoto had her arms raised in the air, as she pleaded.

"Help me! There are monsters everywhere."

"An girl ? " A guard wondered.

"A high school girl." Another enthused, looking at Kawamoto's clothes.

"Help me." Kawamoto begged.

"Of course we'll help you." One of the guards assured, lowering his weapon.

Then, displaying a lustful smile, he approached her, while affirming.

"But first, we're going to make sure you haven't been bitten! Take off your clothes and get naked."

However, no sooner had he taken a step forward than the sound of a detonation was heard. Having targeted his head, Kohta fired him, one shot, and his bullet punctured his forehead.

" What... ? " The other two guards wondered, seeing their comrade fall to the ground.

A moment later, several shots were fired. Taking advantage of Kawamoto's diversion, Ken and Lux sneaked up to the warehouse entrance, and fired at the guards. Within five seconds, the bodies of the three guards had fallen to the ground.

"It's done." Lux affirmed, advancing towards their corpses.

Heaving a long sigh, Kawamoto struggled to calm his fear.

"I was really worried that they would mistake me for a zombie."

For his part, staring at the corpses at his feet, Ken crushed the head of one. Growling in rage, he roared.

"Garbage! Garbage! Garbage! Garbage!"

About to strike again, Ken was startled, feeling the tip of a pistol hit his forehead.

"What...?" he wondered, seeing Lux in front of him.

"Do you want us spotted or what? We don't have time to waste here! Instead of wasting your energy hitting a corpse, try to…"

Suddenly, he fell silent when he heard a noise resembling an alarm.

" DAMN IT ! "

"If the zombies weren't alerted this time, there's no way they wouldn't come." Takashi asserted.

"We split up." Lux ordered.

Being in Fatty's room, a young woman was undressed, while she slept next to the obese man. Nevertheless, opening her eyes, she almost looked disgusted, seeing Fatty's imposing hairy belly.

Chika was not a woman who had had an easy life. Even before the zombies arrived, she had no fixed address and was someone who worked as a prostitute. Coaxing men to get money was what she did best.

And today, if her charm could allow her to be safe, rather than surrounded by zombies, she didn't hesitate to stay close to Fatty, even if his body was repulsive.

" At least here I have something to eat. "

Suddenly the bedroom door opened and a man entered.

"Boss, we have a problem."

Waking up with a start, Fatty was so startled that he screamed.

" WHAT ? WHAT ? WHAT ? "

Attempting to pull the blanket off his body, he eventually lost his balance and fell to the ground.

"What is it?" he asked, growling.

"A group of people are attacking the base! I think they want to take our weapons."

"A group? How many are there?"

"We're not sure, but I think there are no more than ten."

"Not even ten? What are you waiting for to kill them?"

"It's that... there's a sniper with them! And he's formidable."

"A sniper?"

Coming out of a door in the warehouse, a man saw Ken's team walking along a wall, in search of an entrance to enter the building.

"You're dead." The man roared, aiming at them.

However, a bullet hit his head, killing him before he could react.

"And three." Kohta said, before aiming at another person. "And four."

Seeing him do this, Rei couldn't help but be stunned by Kohta's precision. He had only fired four times, but each time he had managed to hit his target's head.

" Sugoi."

"I'll see Saya-san again." The boy affirmed, with a serious face. "I promise! Otherwise, I could never rest in peace."

"So far they've already killed five of our men! But I think they've killed more."

"Tsss!" Fatty growled, getting dressed. "Band of good-for-nothings."

Seeing him leave, Chika clung to his arm.

"Wait! Who is going to protect me? You promised me that you would keep me safe."

"GET OUT!" Fatty ordered her, pushing her back. "If you're scared, just hide under the bed! I have other things to do than protect you."

Then he left the room.

Firing two revolvers, Ken took aim at two men, whose bodies were turned into a sieve. Fueled only by anger, the young man shot everything he saw, without the slightest hesitation. But instead of focusing on his accuracy, he just fired as many bullets as possible to make sure he hit his target.

Behind him, Kawamoto couldn't hide her fear, as she heard the sound of explosions all around her. Trembling in fear, she stopped, before falling to her knees and clasping her hands over her ears. Sobbing in horror, she asked.

"Why did I come? Why did I come? Why did I come?"

"Hey! Don't stop." Takashi ordered her, turning to face her.

Suddenly, feeling a presence behind his back, the boy dropped to the ground, as the blade of an ax passed over him.

"Damn it!" a man growled, seeing the boy dodge his blade.

Turning to him, Takashi grabbed his gun, before firing. Nevertheless, startled by the power of the detonation, the muzzle of his weapon rose, and the boy was the bullet pass over the head of his adversary. Feeling the projectile graze his hair, the man showed fear in his eyes, and hastened to pull out a gun.

Seeing him do this, Takashi turned his weapon around and used the butt as a striking weapon. Aiming for the man's hand, he pulverized it, forcing the man to drop his gun.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" he yelled.

Imitating a baseball player, Takashi rotated his hips, before hitting his face. Taking a step back, the man fell to his knees, while blood escaped from his forehead. Seeing him still conscious, Takashi raised the butt of his weapon before lowering it to his head.

Nevertheless, seizing his axe, his adversary managed to block the butt of his assault rifle, using the handle. Then, imitating a rugby player, he rushed at Takashi and belted him. Unable to maintain his balance, Takashi fell onto his back and dropped his weapon.

Finding himself sitting on his stomach, his opponent positioned the handle of his ax in front of his neck, before crushing his trachea. Unable to breathe, Takashi tried to struggle. However, weaker than his opponent, he was unable to move the weapon.

"You're dead." The man announced. "You're dead! You're dead! You're..."

Suddenly, a shot was heard and the man's head snapped back. Dead, he ends up collapsing on the ground, under the surprised gaze of Takashi. Catching his breath, he finally sits up, only to see a hole in the man's forehead.

" Kohta ? "

However, turning around, he saw Kawamoto, with a revolver in hand, who was looking at the man she had just killed. Again, firing in an instant, she managed to aim for his forehead and landed a perfect shot.

Terrified, she fell to her knees, dropping her weapon.

"I killed again! I killed someone again."

Suddenly, Takashi heard screams and footsteps.

" Over there. "

"Damn it." Takashi growled, picking up his gun. "Ken! We have to go."

However, looking around, Takashi saw no trace of the student.

"DAMN IT!" Takashi repeated.

Rushing towards Kawamoto, he grabbed her arm, before forcing her to follow him.

" Quick quick. "

"They're here." A man asserted.

Immediately, a bullet grazed Tatkashi's face, as he was targeted. Frightened, the boy turned and fired twice, completely at random. However, to his surprise, he heard a cry of pain, as he had managed to touch the leg of one of his pursuers. Seeing this, the others rushed behind a wall, so as not to be hit too.

Taking advantage of this, Takashi shot Kawamoto again, in order to escape.

Meanwhile, being at the back of the building, two men were hidden behind a low wall. Looking frightened, one of them declared.

"Damn it! We're really getting attacked."

Clutching his firearm in his hands, the second man retorted.

"Don't worry! If we stay hidden there, we'll let the others take care of this problem! And if one of those jesters comes here, we'll take care of it."

"Oh, really?" A voice questioned.

Startled, the two men looked up to see Lux standing on the low wall where they were hiding.

" That ? "

His two revolvers already pointed at their skulls, the student asserted.

"You move and you're dead."

Immediately, the two men dropped their weapons.

"Don't shoot! We surrender!"

Seeing them drop their weapons, Lux ordered.

"Tsuna, search them."

Appearing in turn, the high school student began to growl.

"I'm not your doggy."

Nevertheless, picking up the weapons of the two men, he ends up rummaging in their pockets, before affirming.

"They don't have anything else."

"Perfect." Lux affirmed, dropping between the two men.

Then, putting away his revolvers, he grabbed the hair of one of the men, before positioning the blade of his saber in front of his throat.

"Do you want to know if you're going to heaven or hell?" Lux asked him.

" No ! Please ! Don't kill me. "

"In that case, I have three questions for you! Is Fatty the leader of your group?"

" Y .. Yes. "

" Where is he ? "

Pointing to the warehouse, the man declared.

"There are rooms, up in that warehouse! If you want to find him, he's up there! Or maybe he's making sure his prisoner gets killed before dawn. "

"His prisoner? Which prisoner?" Lux questioned, pressing his saber closer to his neck.

"Earlier, Fatty ordered some men to go to an apartment to find a man! They found him in the company of a woman, whom they let be eaten alive! The man was brought back here and Fatty has planned a plan to kill him as soon as the sun comes up."

"Ken's father?" Tsunoda wondered.

"So we have a chance of finding him." Lux understood. " Hurry up. "

"And those two?" The teenager asked.

Suddenly, he was surprised to see Lux slit his prisoner's throat. Then, grabbing one of his revolvers, he aimed for the head of the second man, killing him before he could beg him to spare him.

Stepping back, Tsunoda watched the two men fall to the ground, as Lux had just killed him.

"W... Why?"

"Don't take any chances." Lux told his simply. "We're at war, not drinking tea! Don't forget these guys are yakuza!"

" Yes, but ... "

At that moment, Tsunoda saw Lux leaving to go inside the warehouse.

"Hey, wait! And your last question? Didn't you say you had another question?"

Stopping immediately, Lux had his gaze lowered. Then, he thought of Fuka's death, in his old life. He thought of the man who had thrown the girl into a horde of zombies, to be devoured, in front of Lux. Clearly remembering the face of the man named Odin, Lux finally shook his head.

"Forget it! This man can't be here! If he was, he would have already killed Fatty to become the leader of this place."

"This man? Who are you talking about?"

"From the man I promised to kill." Lux roared, unable to hide his rage.

Hearing growls, Sergio suddenly opened his eyes. Noting that he was lying on a metal plate, the man noticed that it was suspended above the void and held by four cables.

"Huh?" he wondered. " Where am I ? "

Noticing that he was in the center of a huge hangar room, the man heard many grunts. Passing his gaze over the metal plate, he saw that it was three meters above the ground, and that an entire group of zombies were below him. If Ken's father fell or one of the cables broke, he would be eaten.
