The Ennead had gathered once again inside the Great Pyramid.

"Where is Osiris?"

"That is what is troubling me." Hathor explained. "I do not sense his presence."

Isis suggested his avatar was merely late to the party.

But the Goddess of love and beauty shook her head "No, I do not believe so. Brothers and sisters do you not feel something amiss?"

"Yes. I, too, have had the feeling of dread amongst us." Tefnut agreed.

"Did something happen?" Isis asked.

"Happen? Like did he expire?" Horus couldn't help but laugh "Preposterous, nothing can kill us. We are gods."

There was a silence amongst them.

"That is not true." Hathor reminded.

"Yes, but the amulet is locked away." Tefnut assured them.

"The sceptre is hidden." Horus said confidently.

Hathor shook her head, "Hidden. Not destroyed."

"Perhaps you should have destroyed it." A voice called out.

The group turned their attention to the entrance.

"Who is that who enters uninvited?" Horus asked.

"Oh, I was invited. Just forgotten." The cloaked figure from before emerged with the was-sceptre in hand.

"You have the—"

"Yes, Isis. I have the one thing that can kill a god. The one thing I had that got taken from me."

"Nobody should hold that much power." Horus told him.

"Gods tell other Gods what power they hold? We are all equal! We are all Gods to be worshipped!"

"Not you." Tefnut said, standing from their seat.

This response was met with the sceptre entering Tefnuts forehead.

The others were too shocked to notice the figure getting closer.

"Enough!" Horus used his power to bind the man's hands together. He stepped down to where the man now stood powerless.

"You cause chaos and destruction wherever you go. Why should we not turn you to stone?"

The man revealed his twisted smile "Because I'm not the only one."

Up on the platform where the two other Gods sat was now another figure who had stabbed Isis. The figure then turned the sceptre to Hathor, who collapsed on the floor after her eyes glowing white.

"She got away." The figure told their partner.

"Then everyone will know I'm back." He continued to smile.
