After waking up in a plane seat next to two unassuming people, Lena was shocked but composed herself better than the last time.
She excused herself and made her way to the lavatory where she washed her face.
"Why am I on a plane? I can't even afford Netflix."
"We are finding Marc Spector." That familiar voice has said.
Lena let out a squeak "You again! I thought you were a dream."
"I am not"
"And you're not, like, talking through a microphone or something?"
"No."
Lena took a deep breath, "Are you in my head?"
"Yes." The voice answered.
"Are you using The Force?"
"What?"
"Nothing." Lena replied. "Who are you? What are you?"
"I am Hathor. God of fertility, music, and beauty."
"I… know who you are. God of sex, drugs, and rock'n roll. That's what they said in Stargate." Lena explained.
"I'm glad mortals of the present still know about me and my fellow Gods."
"I've also seen YuGiOh… if… that… helps. Why are you here?"
"The Gods are in danger. We must get to Marc Spector to warn him and Khonshu."
"Right. Marc Spector, you keep saying that. Who is he?"
"Khonshu's avatar."
"The last airbender?"
"Enough!"
"Sorry." Lena mumbled.
"If anyone can stop Set and Kauket it is Marc Spector. My old avatar could sense his kindness."
"Kindness? That's it? This really is YuGiOh."
"He's also a mercenary."
"That'll do it…. So, what happened to your last avatar?"
"Before Kauket could pierce me with the was-sceptre, I fled to a new body."
"You just left your old one to die? All alone?" Lena thought a second then asked "Will you do that with me?"
"The life of a God is worth more than that of a mortal."
"Hathor?"
"Yes?"
Paulena held back her tears at the thought of dying all alone without anyone by her side.
"That's fucked up."
