The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover
Episode 14: Toky-Oh No!

Don: Last time, on The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover! Our teams took a trip through the Brazilian Rainforest where the ants came marching one by one. After several teams found various methods to overcome the ants, their skills were actually put to the test when they had to make dazzling costumes for Carnivale. Thanks to the clothing tips supplied by their friend, Caitlin, Jen & Nikki claimed 1st place, and after an incident involving Dakota's clumsiness, resulting in a disgustingly hilarious accident, the T.U.F.F. Agents came in last and were cut from the competition, ending the alliance between them and the Married Parents. Although, can you really call it an alliance? I mean, there wasn't really much focus placed on it, or the alliance between the Best Friends and Part-Time Heroes. (shrugs) Guess certain matters and plots take precedence over more major plot points. Anyway, get ready for more action, excitement, and danger, because this is, The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover.

Cue Theme Song

Don: Last week's Chill Zone was here, on Copacabana Beach, which is the starting point for today's race. Leaving first will be Best Friends, Jen & Nikki.

Jen & Nikki step up to the Don Box, pressed the button on top, and received their next tip.

Jen: Make your way to the chaotic and crowded streets of Tokyo, Japan?

[Place Description]
Don: Tokyo, Japan. Home to exotic temples, crazy game shows, and sweet & spicy sushi. When teams land in Tokyo, they must make their way to Akihabara, where the next Don Box is located somewhere inside.
[End Description]

We then cut back to Copacabana Beach where we see Don talking to Jen & Nikki.

Don: This shuttle bus will take you to the airport. (Jen & Nikki then proceed to enter the shuttle bus. At first, they're excited they're in first place, only to discover the bus won't leave until all the teams are onboard)

Nikki: Dang it, I knew it was too good to be true that we'd be able to keep our lead.

Jen: So we may have to battle our way through this onslaught, it's nothing we can't handle. We got this. (holds out her fist)

Nikki: (sighs) Okay, you're right. We got this. (fist bumps Jen)

We then see the bus beginning to make its way towards the airport. While on the way, Agent K continuously steals glances towards the Time Travelers, who're sitting across the aisle from her & Dick Daring.

Dick Daring: (noticing his wife's glances) What's up, K?

Agent K: I can't it out of my head. I recall seeing that, during the previous challenge, Dakota bumped into Kitty, causing her face to fall into the mitt containing the bullet ants and get bitten multiple times, causing her face to become swollen and disfigured.

Dick Daring: Could've been an accident?

Agent K: That, or it was intentional. My theory is that Dakota fake-bumped into her in order to cause her to have that accident and get her and Dudley eliminated.

Dick Daring: (thinks about it for a moment) That's actually a good point. You think that's possible?

Agent K: Indeed. The question is: What would they have to gain from eliminating Dudley & Kitty? We'll have to investigate.

Dick Daring: Indeed. And maybe we'll have to find another alliance member.

Agent K: Exactly. But who?

Scene switches to the airport where we see the shuttle bus arrive and the teams exit the vehicle before racing into the airport to purchase their tickets to Tokyo. After a lot of shoving and elbow jabs, the teams get in line and purchase their tickets to Tokyo on one of two flights.

Don: Flight #1 contains the Ninjas, Complete Opposites, Monster Fighters, Married Parents, Best Friends, Part-Time Heroes, Insane Destructors, and Slackers; Flight #2 contains the Weirdos, Talon Mercenaries, Brothers, Safety Patrollers, Time Travelers, Brother & Sister, Warriors, Mother & Daughter, and Daters.

Scene switches to flight #1 where we see cut to the Part-Time Heroes who're silently conversing with each other.

[Confessional: Penn & Sashi]
Sashi: Throughout the race, we've mostly been stuck in the middle to bottom of the pack, and Penn & I aren't too proud of our placements.
Penn: Yeah. We're pretty competitive people, so when we know we're at the back of the pack, then that means we're going to fight until our last breath in order to win.
Sashi: (high fives Penn) I can agree to that, PZ.
[End Confessional]

Scene shows the 1st flight landing in Tokyo and the teams racing out of the airport, getting into taxi, and proceeding towards Akihabara. Scene switches to Akihabara where we see the teams arrive and enter the confusing and bustling corridors that is Akihabara.

Nikki: Well, this is going to be an issue.

Hanzo: Alright, split up and just begin looking around. When you find, send some kind of signal.

Herry: Uh, sure. We'll do that. (the teams split up; whispering to Odie) How do we send a signal?

Odie: You got me. (they continue onwards)

We then cut to Demoman & Pyro who're walking around, searching for the Don Box, when they're stopped by a few of the locals.

Local #1: Whoa, nice costumes, bro.

Demoman: Costumes? (comes to a realization) Oh, right, technology center of Tokyo, including gaming, which means us. (to local) Thank you for your comments. By the way, do you know where I may find this man? (shows them a picture of Don)

Local #1: Oh, I saw that in the center of Akihabara. Take a left, then a right, and another right, and you're there.

Demoman: Thank you. (he & Pyro proceed towards the Don Box)

We then cut to Hanzo & Genji where they're searching for the Don Box when a local notices them.

Local #2: Oh my god. That is amazing. Those costumes look so authentic.

Genji: Um… thank you. Arigatō. But if you think this costume is impressive, check out these special effects. (unsheathes his sword) Ryujin no ken wo kurae! (the local is amazed) Pretty impressive, huh?

Hanzo: Yes, all good and impressive. Um, pardon us, but have you seen a small machine structure that looks like a person.

Local #2: Um… oh yes, I saw it at the center of Akihabara. It's just down that corridor.

Hanzo: Arigatō. Come, Genji.

Genji: (sheathes his sword) Pleasure meeting you. (they leave, leaving the local dumbfounded)

Local #2: Did he call him… Genji? (his eyes widen) Oh, I should've gotten an autograph.

We then cut to the Don Box where we see Hanzo & Genji get to the Don Box and receive their tip.

Genji: Hanzo, give the signal.

Hanzo: Right. (takes an arrow out of his quiver and shoots it into the sky, where it ignites, indicating his & Genji's location) That should do it. What does the tip say?

Genji: (reading the tip) It's an Either Or. Anime or Gaming.

Don: For this Either Or, the teams must choose between two of the most popular activities present at Akihabara. The choice, Anime or Gaming. In Anime, teams must go into the Anime District and find the marked Ridonculous Race stand. When they arrive, they'll be given 40 magnets, and must stick said magnets, which contain the names of popular Anime characters and what show they're from, on the signs below the corresponding images. When they've correctly identified every character and show, our Anime master and special guest star, Anime America, will give them their next tip. In Gaming, teams must make their way towards the Gaming Center, until they locate our other guest star, D. Va. When they arrive, she'll situate them in proper gaming attire in order to play the game, "Sock-Em Rockers", and play against her in two separate rounds of combat and speed. Once each team member has defeated her in two separate rounds of combat, she'll give them their next clue.

Hanzo: Should we do Gaming?

Genji: And go up against ? Yeah, not happening. (whispering) She's dangerous.

Hanzo: (whispering) Why are you whispering?

Genji: For dramatic emphasis.

Hanzo: Alright, Anime it is then. (they leave)

Not long after they leave, more teams arrive at their location, collect their tips, and choose their challenges. The Complete Opposites, Monster Fighters, and Married Parents choose Anime, while the Best Friends, Part-Time Heroes, Insane Destructors, and Slackers choose Gaming. Scene switches to the Anime District where we see the Ninjas arrive and begin looking around for the marked Ridonculous Race stand.

Anime America: Pardon me, are you Hanzo & Genji?

Hanzo: That's us.

Anime America: Perfect, Don mentioned you'd be here soon.

Genji: Ah, you must be Anime America.

Anime America: Indeed. Anyway, here's your challenge. You must correctly identify 20 anime characters and their shows. Here are your magnets. (gives them 40 magnets) Get started. (Hanzo & Genji get started with the challenge)

Hanzo: Let's see. Well, that's clearly Ash from Pokémon. (puts the two magnets in place)

Genji: I found Zoro from One Piece. (places the two magnets in place) Now that's someone to look up to. His sword work is admirable. Oh, and there's Kōsei Arima from Your Lie in April. (places the two magnets in place)

Hanzo: Maka Albarn from Soul Eater. Kirito from Sword Art Online. Ryuk from Death Note. Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail.

Genji: Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter. Fujiko Mine from Lupin. Hohenheim from Fullmetal Alchemist. Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Hanzo: Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan. Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach. Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon. Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. And Goku from Dragonball.

Genji: That just leaves five.

Hanzo: Unfortunately, these are some fairly obscure anime characters. (notices several teams approaching and preparing to begin the challenge) Let's just try our best and see what happens.

Genji: Alright. I believe that's Kaga Kouko from Golden Time. That's Kuroudo Akabane from GetBackers, I think.

Hanzo: There's Agni from Black Butler.

Genji: And that leaves Hinata Hyuga from Naruto. (places the last two magnets in place) Let's hope we got it right. (at that moment, 20 green lights flash, signaling they got every character right) Yes!

Hanzo: Let's go. (they approach Anime America, who gives them their next tip)

Anime America: Well done, you two.

Genji: Thank you. (reading the tip) Make your way to Itamae Sushi Edo where the next Don Box is located.

Hanzo: Come, let's continue. (they leave)

Scene switches to the Gaming Center where we see the Best Friends, Part-Time Heroes, Insane Destructors, and Slackers arrive and begin looking around for D. Va. Eventually, they find her next to a large arcade dance machine.

D. Va: 'Sup guys. Ready for some rad gaming action.

Jonesy: Just try and stop me. (he's about to go on when stops him)

D. Va: Ladies first. (signaling towards Jen)

Jen: Alright, let's do this. (they get themselves situated on the platform, which begins scanning them into the game. D. Va then selects a backing track as the platforms begin raising. D. Va eventually settles on the Sock-Em Rockers Theme by MRSHLL, before proceeding to select their characters)

In-Game Announcer: Choose your titan. (D. Va picks…) Jaguar Jetson, VS. (Jen picks…) Colossusaurus.

MRSHLL: Oh-oh-oh-oooh. (Jen & D. Va then begin fighting, doing several impressive moves in the process) 빛이 퍼지면서 감았던 눈을 뜨십시오. 당신은 볼 수 있지만 나는 이미 몇 마일 떨어져 있습니다. You can sock 'em, rock 'em, 두려워할 필요 없어. Baby girl, I'm outta control!

그 부러진 자존심, 그냥 싸움에서 그것을 던지십시오. (다 던져. 맞아요 그냥 다 던지세요). 시간이 촉박하다.

Jen does a decent job, but D. Va's just too quick, allowing for her to take the victory.

D. Va: Alright, who's next?

Nikki: That would be me.

D. Va: Alright, girl, show me what you got. (they step on the platform which rises while selects a new track. As their bodies are scanned in, D. Va selects "Kaiju Baby" by MRSHLL. They then get warmed up as the song begins playing)

There's no hope for you, yeah, you can try it out! Going 아래로, 아래로, 아래로, 아래로. Yeah! Kaiju Baby. Fight! (they begin fighting) Yea-ah. 내 심장 박동의 쿵쾅거리는 소리를 들어보세요. Yeah! Kaiju Baby.

소음을 내세요. (Yeah!) 더 크고 더 높이. (Yeah!) 가라고 한 길을 갈 필요는 없습니다. 넘어지면 다시 일어나서 다시 시작하십시오. 자신을 털어 버리고, 멀리 걷고, 더 많이 느껴보십시오.

Feel the thump of your heartbeat, the kiss of the mean streets. Do you see the line drawn in the sand? 당신이보고있는 것을 벗어날 수 없습니다. 당신의 마음은 이것을 담을 수 없습니다. Exactly how it feels… to… win… this… con-test. Yeah! Kaiju Baby!

Nikki tries, but is ultimately no match for D. Va.

D. Va: Alright, you and your partner back of the line, wait your turn. Who's next?

Jonesy: Finally, I can show off my skills.

He & D. Va get into positions as the Sock 'Em Rockers Theme begins playing.

In-Game Announcer: Choose your titan. ( picks…) Jaguar Jetson, VS. (Jonesy picks…) Colossusaurus.

Jude: Sock some rockers, dude!

In-Game Announcer: Fight!

They then begin fighting. While D. Va manages to show off her skills, she's shocked to see how proficient Jonesy is. He's able to maneuver around, drop slam, and eventually, defeat Jaguar Jetson, much to D. Va's shock.

Jonesy: Jude & I play this game every day since it opened up in the Galleria Mall. (fist bumps Jude) Good luck, dude.

Jude: Let's do this, bra. (they get themselves situated as Kaiju Baby plays in the background)

They begin battling, with Jude showcasing that he has even greater skill at the game than Jonesy, doing several insane breakdancing maneuvers, splits, flips, and kicks, managing to take Jaguar Jetson out in no time.

D. Va: I can't believe I'm saying this, but well done you two. Here's your next tip.

Jude: Thanks, bra. Let's go, dude.

Jonesy: You crushed it, by the way. Those were some impressive moves.

Jude: I've been practicing. (they leave)

Don: As the top two teams head towards their next destination, flight #2 has landed.

Scene shows the second flight touching down in Tokyo, and soon, the teams race out of the airport, get into taxis, and proceed towards Akihabara. Scene switches to Akihabara where we see the teams from the 2nd flight arrive and enter. Immediately, they see all the chaos that's occurring in this miniature bustling metropolis that is Akihabara.

Fillmore: This may take some time.

Pharah: Not necessarily. Wait one moment. (she activates her hover jets boosters and begins surveying the area from above)

She then flies over the whole area, all the while leaving the locals enthralled by what they assume is a performance from one of the staff members, and finds the location of the Don Box. When she arrives at the Don Box, she activates her Concussive Blast, signaling her position. Soon, the teams arrive at her location and take a tip from the Don Box. The Weirdos, Brothers, Safety Patrollers, Time Travelers, Mother & Daughter, and Daters choose Anime, while the Talon Mercenaries, Brother & Sister, and Warriors choose Gaming. Scene switches to the Anime District where we see the Complete Opposites, Monster Fighters, and Married Parents continuing with the challenge.

Dick Daring: Hmm, there's Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan. Ryuk from Death Note.

Agent K: There's Kōsei Arima from Your Lie in April. Kirito from Sword Art Online. Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter. Fujiko Mine from Lupin.

Marco: Ash from Pokémon. Zoro from One Piece. Hohenheim from Fullmetal Alchemist. Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Odie: Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach. Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon. Goku from Dragonball.

Herry: That's Kaga Kouko from Golden Time. That's Kuroudo Akabane from GetBackers. There's Agni from Black Butler.

Star: Hinata Hyuga from Naruto. Maka Albarn from Soul Eater. And Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail. Yeah, we're done!

All three teams place the magnets to their corresponding characters and shows. They receive their tips and proceed to leave. At the same time, the Weirdos, Brothers, Safety Patrollers, Time Travelers, Mother & Daughter, and Daters arrive and begin the challenge. Scene switches to the Gaming Center where we see the Best Friends, Part-Time Heroes, and Insane Destructors trying their hand at defeating D. Va, but she's whooping their a**es. Eventually, the Talon Mercenaries, Brother & Sister, and Warriors arrive.

D. Va: (cracks her neck) Ready to lose.

Reaper: Nothing would please me more than to see you eliminated, permanently. But this works to.

D. Va: (chuckles) We'll see who comes out on top. (begins battling Reaper, and takes him down in seconds) Nice try. (Atlanta then steps up) Well, show me what you're made of.

Atlanta: (cracking her knuckles) I play to win.

D. Va: Hey, that's my line. (they begin playing as Kaiju Baby plays in the background. Thanks to Atlanta's speed, she manages to pull off some spectacular moves, defeating Jaguar Jetson, much to the D. Va's shock) Wow. You're fast. I'm impressed.

Atlanta: It was nothing. (she steps off and approaches Archie, kissing him on the cheek) Good luck, babe.

Archie: I don't need luck. (he gets on the platform and begins battling as the Sock 'Em Rockers Theme plays in the background. Like Atlanta, his skills and agility manage to help him win against D. Va) Like I said.

D. Va: Well done. Here's your next tip. (gives Archie the next tip)

Archie: Thanks. Shall we?

Atlanta: Let's go. (they leave)

Sashi: If they can do it, then let's give her heck. (Sashi steps up, but is defeated by D. Va without her even batting an eyelash)

Demoman: Damn. This girl is tough. (Pyro nods; Demoman then draws Pyro in close and whispers something in his ear, to which Pyro nods in understanding) I'm up. (Demoman then goes up but fails instantly) Oh well, better luck next time.

Don: As the teams continue to fail at the Gaming challenge, our frontrunners have arrived at their next destination.

Scene switches to Itamae Sushi Edo where we see the Ninjas arrive. They proceed to exit their cabs and proceed towards the Don Box.

Genji: (reading the tip) It's another Either Or. Sushi or Samurai.

Don: Itamae Sushi Edo is a Japanese restaurant known for its Sushi and stage performances of Samurais. For this Either Or, teams will be required to do one or the other. If the teams chose Gaming, they'll have to perform Sushi. If the teams chose Anime, they'll have to perform Samurai. In Sushi, teams must eat an entire platter of super spicy sushi. And the closer the teams get to completing the challenge, the spicier the sushi becomes. Once they've polished off the entire platter, the head chef will give them their next clue. In Samurai, teams will have to step into the ring and battle a formidable samurai warrior. Our special guest star from last season, Samurai Jack. (Jack appears next to Don and bows)

Jack: It's an honor to be here once more.

Don: Indeed. Anyway, once the teams mange to defeat him in one round of combat, they'll find their next destination inscribed on his sword.

Hanzo: Oh, I've been waiting to do this challenge.

Genji: Indeed. Jack is a formidable opponent, and it'll be an honor to fight him. Let's go. (they enter the establishment and head towards the arena)

When they arrive, they find Jack meditating, with his sword in front of him.

Hanzo: Shall we? (he's about to step forward when Genji stops him)

Genji: It can't be that simple. He's baiting us.

Hanzo: Clever man. So, what do we do?

Genji: Follow my lead. (he proceeds to jump up and land on the ground without making a sound. He then begins stealthily walking towards Jack, unsheathing his sword in the process. Jack, sensing this, opens his eyes, just as Genji activates his Swift Strike. Jack picks up his sword and blocks Genji's attack before launching him back)

Jack: I've fought robots will impressive skill and dexterity, but you seem to have the same level of skill as I do, as well as the thought process of knowing how to approach your target.

Genji: That's because I'm not a robot. I'm a cyborg. I was once human, with impeccable swordsmanship. But my actions were callous and vain, and I hurt the people I loved. After a terrible fight, I was badly injured, nearly killed by the one I cared about the most. I was given a second chance, and thus, went on a path to find redemption, trying to make peace with my body and my brother.

Jack: Your brother?

Genji: The man who murdered me.

Jack: You have the will of a warrior, the skill of a ninja, and the heart of a samurai. You are someone who has made peace with their demons and made it to the other side. I wish I could make peace with what I've failed to accomplish.

Genji: Well, that's not important right now. All that's important is the challenge.

Jack: Let us begin.

They race towards each other and begin clashing swords. They have an epic montage of them jumping from surface to surface, clashing metal against metal, trying to take the other one down. Eventually, Jack manages to knock the sword out of Genji's hands and aims his sword at Genji's chest plate.

Jack: Your skills are admirable. But you still lost.

Genji: Indeed. But there's something you must ask yourself something. (Jack looks intrigued) Why was this cyborg ninja holding back during the fight? (Jack looks surprised. He then turns around and sees Hanzo aiming his bow at him. Hanzo then activates his ultimate ability)

Hanzo: Ryuu ga waga teki wo kurau. (he unleashes the dragons upon Jack. Jack holds up his sword in defense as the dragons pass through him. He gains a look of intensity as the energy passes through him. When they're gone, he collapses, breathing heavily) Well done, Genji.

Genji: Thank you, brother.

Jack: (looks up) Brother? (looks at Hanzo) You're his brother. The one who…

Hanzo: Yes. I murdered him. Or, at least I thought that for twenty years. I tried to pass it off as my duty and my burden, but I knew the truth. I was guilt-ridden, burdened by my actions. I dishonored myself, and I believed I could never receive redemption or forgiveness. That is, until Genji revealed himself to me.

Genji: I was hired to kill him, but I knew I could never kill my own brother. I forgave, and told him I still had hope for him to redeem himself.

Hanzo: I'm on the path to redemption.

Jack: I hope someday it finds you. Here. (gives Hanzo & Genji his sword) You're next destination is located on that sword.

Genji: (sees the destination inscribed on the sword) Meiji Shrine.

We cut to Meiji Shrine where we see Don on the Chill Zone standing outside the temple.

Don: Meiji Shrine. This magnificent architecture, that was built as a commemoration to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken, will be the Chill Zone for today's leg of the race. The last team to arrive, may be cut from the competition.

Scene switches back to Itamae Sushi Edo where we see Hanzo & Genji exiting the building, entering a taxi, and making their way towards Meiji Shrine. Not long after they leave, the Slackers arrive via taxi while the Warriors arrive via Atlanta's speed.

Jonesy: Weren't you two on the second flight?

Atlanta: Yes. But thanks to a little speed boast, we were able to get here in no time flat.

Archie: Alright, what's the challenge?

Jude: (reading the tip) It's another Either Or. And we're required to do the Sushi challenge.

Jonesy: Oh, gross! We have to eat raw fish?!

Jude: No. (Jonesy sighs in relief) We have to eat spicy raw fish. (they both shudder in disgust)

Archie: What's the big deal? It's sushi.

Atlanta: Yeah, I like sushi. This'll be a breeze. (both teams enter Itamae Sushi Edo in order to begin the Sushi challenge)

Scene switches to the Anime District in Akihabara where we see the Weirdos, Brothers, Safety Patrollers, Time Travelers, Mother & Daughter, and Daters on the verge of completing the challenge.

Anime America: (notices Ingrid is wasting no time in placing the magnets on the signs) Wow, she's breezing through the challenge. How does she-

Fillmore: (cutting her off) Photographic memory.

Ingrid: All done. (twenty green lights flash, indicating they've completed the challenge, allowing for Anime America to give them their next tip) Let's go. (Anime America then notices Jonny 2x4 talking to Plank before placing the magnets on the signs)

Anime America: Um, what are you doing?

Jonny 2x4: Oh, I'm just doing the challenge. And thanks to Plank, Rolf and I can complete the challenge in no time. Plank here is an anime expert. He knows every anime character like the palm of my hand. (soon, Jonny 2x4 places the last magnet on the signs, as 20 green lights flash, allowing for Jonny 2x4 & Rolf to progress)

Rolf: Bravo, Jonny the Wood Boy. You and your board. And for that, I award you and Plank the "Knowledge of Foreign Characters" badge. (they give the Urban Rangers salute once Rolf presents Jonny 2x4 with the badge) Now, come Jonny, we must be quick, before the cat sours the basil. (they quickly leave, leaving Anime America confused at what she just witnessed)

Anime America: Those two need help. (she then sees the Brothers, Time Travelers, Daters, and Mother & Daughter complete the challenge as well. In which case, she presents them with their next tips, which they happily take)

Jay: Thanks. Let's go. (the teams leave)

Scene switches to the Gaming Center where we see the Best Friends, Part-Time Heroes, Insane Destructors, Talon Mercenaries, and Brother & Sister still having trouble trying to take down D. Va.

Sashi: (angry) That's it. No more Ms. Nice Girl. I'm taking you down. (she does a battle cry and gets on the platform, and almost immediately, she's flung off after getting her butt whooped by D. Va)

D. Va: (checks her watch) Wow, one second. That's a new record. Congratulations. (Sashi's eyes turn red with anger. Demoman then steps up to the platform) Alright, pretty boy. Let's see what else you've got. (Demoman smiles)

They then battle, but astonishingly, Demoman manages to defeat her. He steps off the platform as everyone watches on with shocked expressions at the fact that Demoman, who lacks depth perception, managed to defeat after a few tries. Pyro then steps up and manages to defeat as well, allowing for them to continue on with the race.

Widowmaker: Well, that was unforeseen.

Reaper: This calls for drastic measures. (Widowmaker nods. She steps onto the platform and is about to activate her Venom Mine in order to incapacitate when the machine grabs it off her wrist and throws it to the ground, destroying it)

D. Va: Don figured at least one of you would pull a stunt like that, so he equipped the machine to detect cheating in order to ensure I was well, and to ensure he could avoid any lawsuits that would cost him his pants.

Widowmaker: Merde!

D. Va: Hey, watch your language, missy. Anyway... (fake cracks her knuckles) Cracky-crack. Let's do this. (they begin the round, which easily wins) Well, this has been fun and all, but I'm starting to get a little bored. Think you can actually try hard this time, or are you just to weak.

Jen: Oh it's on now. (she gets herself situated and manages to finally win against after an intense battle that makes her sweat so hard, it comes out of everything)

D. Va: Finally, someone gave 110%. 'Bout time too.

Jen: Well, I like to push myself, and prove how capable I am. (she steps off the platform, allowing for Nikki to come on in her stead)

Nikki: Let's do this. (soon, Nikki manages to defeat D. Va as well, allowing for her & Jen to receive a tip and continue onwards)

D. Va: (waving them off) Take care. (turning towards the remaining teams) Alright, who's left? (the other teams look worried at their changes)

Scene switches to Itamae Sushi Edo where we see the Married Parents, Complete Opposites, and Monster Fighters arrive and head towards the Samurai challenge. On their way, they pass by the room containing the Slackers and Warriors, allowing for the camera zoom in on them as they're beginning the Sushi challenge.

Jude: Gross, dude. Do you have any burgers? (a cooking knife then flies by Jude's head and lands in the wall next to his face, much to his & Jonesy's shock and terror. They then turn towards the chef, who has a stern look on his face) Okay, just checking. No need to get defensive, dude. (nervously chuckles. He and Jonesy then begin eating, but immediately spit out their portions upon realizing how hot it is)

Jonesy: Whoa, that's hot. (he then notices Archie & Atlanta chowing down on the spicy sushi) How are you enjoying this?

Archie: It's free food, and we love a challenge.

Atlanta: Plus, you haven't dealt with heat until you've battled… (she then notices Archie giving hand signals to ensure she doesn't blow their cover) against a ferocious lava flow. Yeah, our parents work for the forest service. It's one heck of a job, but we like to help out whenever we can.

Archie: Uh, yeah. What she said. (he then finishes to last piece of sushi on the platter) All done. (the chef arrives and gives them their next tip) Make your way to Meiji Shrine. Let's go. (they leave)

Jonesy: Well, we're-

Agent K: Duck! (she quickly ducks as Dick Daring's kicked in the face by Jack)

Dick Daring: (dazed and seeing stars spinning around his forehead) Look at all the pretty stars. (falls unconscious)

We get a full lay of the land when we see the Married Parents trying and failing to defeat Jack. Eventually, Jack manages to hit her on the back of the neck, knocking her out. We then see the Complete Opposites step forward in order to battle Jack. Jack throws a punches, but Herry catches it, much to Jack's shock, and manages to use his strength to bring Jack to his knees.

Jack: You're an incredibly strong young man. You'd be a worthy associate in taking down the demon, Aku.

Herry: Sorry, I have my own problems in trying to take down a god.

Jack: Of course. Anyway, my sword's located next to me. (indicates his sword)

Odie: (looking at the sword) Meiji Shrine. Let's go. (they leave, allowing for Jack get back on his feet)

The Monster Fighters then step up. Star fires a magic beam from her wand towards Jack, but he deflects it off his sword towards Marco, leaving him partially scorched.

Marco: (coughs up smoke) I'm good. (collapses)

Star: (looking at the sword) That's no ordinary sword.

Jack: Indeed. It's a magic sword. But I won't need it to defeat you. (he quickly runs towards her, and using only his index and middle fingers, manages to knock Star against the wall. We then see the Weirdos, Brothers, Safety Patrollers, Time Travelers, Mother & Daughter, and Daters at the opening, having seen what Jack just did, all of them look fairly frightened by him)

Ingrid: So… who wants to take a crack at him?

Dakota: Yeah, I prefer to win this race alive, thank you very much.

Stan: I ain't battlin' that guy.

Jonny 2x4: Anyone up for drawing straws? (pulls out some straws, while everyone looks unsure)

We then cut to Meiji Shrine where we see the Ninjas arrive and race towards the Chill Zone.

Don: Congratulations Ninjas, you're in 1st place.

Hanzo: Yes. First place in Japan.

Genji: And unlike that stupid mistake Gwen made during the World Tour episode, "The Am-Ah-Zon Race", we didn't jinx ourselves prior, so it worked in our favor.

Hanzo: Indeed. Also, it helped to get some insight from Jack. I'm glad he listened.

Genji: As am I, brother. Maybe that's what we needed to help mend what was broken.

Hanzo: Maybe. But I believe our journey is far from over. (they leave. As they leave, the camera focuses back onto Don)

Don: Well, I clearly missed something there. (he then notices the Warriors arrive on the mat at lightning speed) Warriors in 2nd place. (turns and notices a cab pull up and we see the Complete Opposites exit the cab and get onto the Chill Zone) Complete Opposites take 3rd. Well done. (they cheer before exiting the mat. Once they're gone, Don turns towards the camera) With the top 3 spots out of the running, our teams need to pick up the pace in order to stay in the race. Oh yeah, I'm writing that one down.

Scene switches to the Gaming Center in Akihabara where we see Brother & Sister have finally managed to defeat after several sweaty rounds of battle.

D. Va: Nice job, you two. Took you awhile, but you finally did. Here you go.

Ronnie Anne: (taking the tip from ) Thanks. Let's go, Bobby. (she's about to leave when she sees Bobby's on the ground, breathing heavily)

Bobby: Give me… a minute. Need to… catch… my breath. (Ronnie Anne then begins dragging Bobby to the exit) Thanks… sis. (they leave. then turns towards the Part-Time Heroes and Talon Mercenaries, who're in no conditional to continue. At least, some of them think that)

Sashi: I… will… defeat… you. (passes out)

D. Va: This is just sad. (dials a number on her phone and calls someone) Hey, it's me. (a person on the other end talks, but it's inaudible) Yep, they're still here. And one other team. What should I do? (the person talks) Really? But you said… (the person talks) Oh. Well, in that case, I'd be happy to do that. Gamsa haeyo. (she hangs up and turns towards the two teams) I just talked to De… Don. He said you can continue.

Penn: Oh thank god. (takes a tip from her, as do Reaper & Widowmaker, and both teams leave)

D. Va: Hopefully, Reaper & Widowmaker get eliminated. I want them gone. (checks her watch) Well, I still got some time. Why not play some more games? (she then proceeds towards the arcade)

Scene switches to Itamae Sushi Edo where we see the Best Friends and Insane Destructors beginning the challenge. However, almost immediately after eating a piece, Jen immediately feels pain.

Jen: Owga! Hop suse! Burned my lips! (her lips swell up. Nikki chuckles at this) Wat's so fony?

Nikki: Sorry. This just reminds me of the time when you burned your lips on the hot coffee. (Jen looks at her sternly. Jen & Nikki then notice Demoman & Pyro chowing through the sushi) How are you two not affected by the heat?

Demoman: Please, this is nothing. If you want, trying being around Pyro 24/7. It's not pretty. Then again, neither are we. (laughs heartily before taking another piece of sushi. However, his laughter causes him to choke, causing him to punch his chest, allowing for him to spit out the sushi in his mouth, launching it at Nikki, prompting Jen to snicker)

Nikki: (pulling the sushi off her face) That's not funny.

Jen: It kind of is. (Nikki rolls her eyes before continuing with the challenge)

Soon, Demoman & Pyro complete the challenge and receive their next tip, allowing for them to leave. Scene switches to the Samurai challenge where we see Fillmore & Ingrid battling against Jack. Jack is quick in his advances, but eventually, using problem-solving, Ingrid creates a makeshift staff from a standee, which she uses against Jack. But as opposed to attacking his sword, she aims for his hands, thus knocking the sword out of his hands and into a wall.

Jack: Very impressive, young one.

Ingrid: Thanks, I try.

Fillmore: (reading the location on the sword) Meiji Shrine. That's our next destination, Ingrid. Let's move. (they leave)

Jay & Theresa step up, with Jay pulling out his weapon in order to combat Jack. However, Jack doesn't look intimidated. Soon, they're locked in an epic sword clash, though not as epic as the battle between Jack & Genji.

Jack: You may not be as spry as the cyborg, but you do have skill.

Jay: Inheritance. Runs in the family.

Jack: I see. (he then knocks the sword out of Jay's hands and aims his sword at Jay. Just then, Jack is lifted into the air by an unseen force. His sword is then pried from his hands where it lands in Theresa's. Jay looks at her, incredulously)

Theresa: What? I couldn't let him hurt you. I love you too much. (she kisses him before looking at the sword) Meiji Shrine. Let's go. (they leave. When they leave, Jack drops down to the ground without making a sound. He picks up his sword and looks at the other teams) Who's next? (Pharah then flies up) I'm ready, willing, and able.

Jack looks up at Pharah with an intense look in his eyes. They stare at each for a few moments, wondering which one will strike first. Then, out of nowhere, Jack is hit with something and collapses, unconscious. It turns out, Ana used her Sleep Dart on Jack, meaning Pharah was a distraction. Once they managed to get the location of the Chill Zone, they leave.

Cavendish: Well, looks like we'll have to wait until Jack wakes up.

Dakota: Cool. That means we'll have more time to write our wills.

Scene switches to the Sushi challenge where we see Brother & Sister, Part-Time Heroes, and Talon Mercenaries getting themselves seated and preparing to begin the challenge.

Sashi: All right, PZ, because of our terrible performance, we'll need to step up our game in order to win. So that means, don't think, just chew. (begins shoving pieces of sushi into Penn's mouth)

Penn: Okay, that one was really hot. Maybe you should… (Sashi shoves another piece into Penn's mouth) Slow down. Those are… (Sashi shoves another piece into Penn's mouth. Penn's mouth is now in searing pain) Need milk. (runs off, much to Sashi's annoyance)

Widowmaker: Pathetic.

Reaper: Indeed. Let's finish this up and get out of here. (they finish their platter, collect their tip, and leave)

Scene switches to Meiji Shrine where we see the Insane Destructors pull up and proceed towards the Chill Zone.

Don: Insane Destructors, you're in 4th place. (they cheer before leaving the mat. Soon, the Safety Patrollers, Daters, and Mother & Daughter pull up and arrive at the Chill Zone) Safety Patrollers 5th, Daters 6th, Mother & Daughter 7th. (they cheer before leaving the mat. Soon, the Talon Mercenaries arrive and check in) Talon Mercenaries, you're the 8th team to arrive.

Widowmaker: It may not be first, but we're still here, so that's good news.

Don: However, because you were unable to complete the Gaming challenge, mostly because whooped your a**es, you've incurred a 30-minute penalty.

A 30:00 appears onscreen, before we cut back to Reaper & Widowmaker, who don't look especially pleased with this.

Reaper: Dang it. (they step off to the side)

Scene switches back to Itamae Sushi Edo where we get a montage of the teams managing completing their respective challenges. The Married Parents defeat Jack using the same technique he used to defeat K; Marco uses his karate moves to leg sweep Jack, steal his sword, and aim it at him, before helping Jack up to his feet and giving him back his sword upon finding the destination of the Chill Zone; Jen & Nikki manage to finish their platter despite Jen's affliction; Rolf manages to use the strength of his elders to defeat Jack; Jude manages to stomach the sushi, even though he throws up immediately afterwards, with Jonesy following in suite; and Bobby & Ronnie Anne manage to eat the sushi using Ronnie Anne's abuela's eating technique.

[Confessional: Bobby & Ronnie Anne]
Ronnie Anne: Hey, Lincoln used it last season during the eating challenge against Homer, so why can't we do the same?
Bobby: Yeah. I mean, abuela may give us too much, but that occasionally comes in handy.
[End Confessional]

Scene switches to Meiji Shrine where we see the teams arrive and check into the Chill Zone. Scene shows the order in which they arrived.

8th! [Agent K & Dick Daring]
9th! [Star & Marco]
10th! [Jen & Nikki]
11th! [Jonny 2x4 & Rolf]
12th! [Jonesy & Jude]
13th! [Bobby & Ronnie Anne]

We then see the timer is down to 15:00, with the Talon Mercenaries looking angry.

Reaper: (sighs) Well this sucks. And we didn't even get to eliminate anyone.

Widowmaker: Well, there is a bright side. Penn & Sashi failed to complete the Gaming challenge.

Reaper: You're right. Even though we've received a penalty, it's halfway over. So even if the elderly brothers and the time-traveling buffoons make it here before our penalty ends, we still have an insurance policy.

Widowmaker: Indeed. (they evilly laugh)

Scene switches back to Itamae Sushi Edo where we see Cavendish & Dakota running away from Jack, trying to avoid his swings.

Dakota: (hiding behind a gong) Well, we're boned.

Cavendish: Thank you for that vote of confidence, Hampshire.

Dakota: Really, you're going there? Anyway, got any bright ideas, Cooperdick?

Cavendish: (thinks for a moment before realization dawns on him) I've got it! (he pulls out his quantum localizer and begins pressing a few buttons. Jack then finds them and is about to strike at Dakota when suddenly, everything freezes around them)

Dakota: What the? (Dakota then puts the pieces together) Oh, I see. You used the quantum localizer to freeze time. Nice.

Cavendish: Thank you. (takes the sword out of Jack's hand before restarting time. Jack, noticing his sword isn't in his hands, is surprised to see it's in Cavendish's hand)

Jack: How did you… No matter. Well done. (Cavendish & Dakota see their next destination, give the sword back to Jack, and leave)

Dakota: (to Ford & Stan) Good luck, you two. You're definitely gonna need it.

Stan: (sarcastic) Thanks for that.

Scene switches to the Sushi challenge where we see Penn & Sashi have managed to finish their platter.

Sashi: Finally. Took you long enough.

Penn: Hey, you're the one who burned my taste buds off.

Sashi: Come on, I had to hurry you up. You were taking so long, and we have a race to win. (she takes the tip and she & Penn race out of there as quickly as they can)

Scene switches to Meiji Shrine where we see the Time Travelers arrive and check in.

Don: Time Travelers in 14th place. Still in the game, fellas.

Cavendish: Thank goodness. (they leave. Once they do, a cab pulls up and the Part-Time Heroes exit the cab and head towards the Chill Zone)

Don: Part-Time Heroes, you're in 15th. (they cheer, believing they're safe, until Don tells them otherwise) But, because you were unable to complete the Gaming challenge, you've received a 30-minute penalty.

A 30:00 appears onscreen, causing them to groan in annoyance, but they stand off to the side, regardless. Reaper & Widowmaker fist bump, knowing they're safe.

Don: With only three teams left, the pressure is slowly mounting on who's gonna stay and who's going home.

Scene switches back to Itamae Sushi Edo where we see Stan is running from Jack, who's running at a brisk pace. However, just as he's about to get Stan, Ford, who was hiding behind a pillar, clotheslines Jack, knocking him off his feet.

Ford: (seeing the location on the sword) Let's go, Stan. (they quickly leave. Jack then gets back to his feet and waves them off)

Jack: Good luck. (he smiles as they leave. He then goes back into a meditative position, too which the camera zooms out on him)

Scene switches to Meiji Shrine where we see Ford & Stan arrive and quickly check into the Chill Zone.

Don: Ford & Stan, you're in 15th. Still in the game. (they cheer before leaving the mat. Don then signals for the Talon Mercenaries and Part-Time Heroes to come onto the mat) Now, both of you received penalties for not completing the Gaming challenge. However, because the Talon Mercenaries came first… (pauses before continuing) they're… s-s-safe. (deeply breathes out) I hated saying that. (to the Talon Mercenaries) Get outta of here.

Reaper: (laughs sinisterly) Sucks, doesn't it? You come so close to getting rid of us, but we come back, deadlier than ever.

Widowmaker: Indeed. (they leave. Don then turns towards Penn & Sashi)

Don: Penn, Sashi, I'm sorry to say this, but you've been eliminated.

Sashi: I will not accept this! (tries lunging at Don, but Penn holds her back)

Penn: Sash! It's done. We're eliminated.

Sashi: (sighs) You're right. There's nothing we can do. Except… (punches Don in the face, causing him to collapse) That. Man, that felt good.

Penn: You know what would be even better… Kicking Rippen's butt.

Sashi: I would like that. (they leave)

Don: (standing back up, a tad bit disoriented, and now sporting a black eye; sarcastic) Well that's peachy. Anyway, next episode is going to be a real doozy. I've actually been planning this one for quite some time now. And, with some help from a few items of great value… (holds up a bag, which contains a few shiny-looking objects) I'm sure that next episode is gonna one of the coolest episodes we'll ever have. Tune in next week to see what we have instore here on, The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover.

The close-up of Don's face leads to a transition to Brian & Stewie's location, where they're monitoring to whole thing.

Stewie: Exactly as planned.

Brian: Now what?

Stewie: Now, we send a message to a few… allies, so too speak. (laughs evilly as he begins writing something down. Brian joins in, causing Stewie to stop laughing and turn towards Brian) Don't do that. It doesn't work for you.

Well, there you have it. The Tokyo chapter. Now like last season, this was a fun one to write, especially with the guest stars. Plus, it opens the gateway to the next chapter, which I know for a fact will blow your minds. I won't spoil anything, but it takes place in another world, and features contestants who haven't participated in The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover. So, just be aware of that. Now, concerning Penn & Sashi's elimination, I didn't have anything really going for them. Plus, I figured Sashi's anger would be their downfall. Also, I have something planned for the villains' eliminations, so I didn't want to have them be eliminated just yet. Well, that about covers it. As per usual, please like, review, guess the references, and I'll see you all next time. Sayōnara.
