This is part DD8 4 but its a note from me to you, my darlings. ~THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO GO UP YESTERDAY~
On October 26, 2010, I sat down to try my hand at writing Transformers. It was fun to read and the characters, their world, their values and the vastness of their universe was brilliant. I wrote about five pieces right away and tried from that night until November 2 to load them. It took that long to figure out the interface.
I'm slow. :D:D:D
Since then, I've made it my goal to write at least 2,000 words a day every day for this story. It's such a gusher of inspiration, our mechs and femmes.
I'm in the process of editing it because typos and dumb slag from tying to keep up with the waterfall of ideas that come to me relentlessly and its going to take a while to get it perfected but I have improved a lot along the way. :D
The best part of this is having you along. Some of you have been here from the beginning and some have just joined. Some told me you read night and day for months to catch up. You're from all over the world and the sense of unity that comes from knowing that is golden to me. I have read your notes and listened to you tell me things. You are so important to this process.
Even though I would write it without a single reader, knowing you read it makes me happy.
I'm writing what I believe and hope for all the Earth some day as well. We're in a world where it seems there's no happiness to be found but here on Mars and Cybertron the mechs roll on even after obliteration. That impresses me about Prime so much, his belief that life will get better through unity and love. Family life, play, work, danger, games, fun and laughs … its the world we all want. I hope you feel better when you read this. I aim to entertain. I try to share what I believe they believe in and how much good they have in themselves for others including puny squishies like us.
I think of all the universes I've written in this one is the best. It fulfills what I need for inspiration and its a great field of frolic to write upon. Family, friends, dreams that can happen and safety, all of it they work for and in the doing bring themselves back from the brink. I believe that for us as well.
Just know how much you're loved. Just know how much you're needed and appreciated by me and I hope everyone else. Love is the only answer to all questions. Unity is where we come to understand each other because our differences are small and in the end don't count for much overall. It would be easy for me to be as loco as everyone else who sees only differences in everyone they see. But I love the differences. They exist among us and among the mechs because that's life. But its in their unity and forgiveness that they find their greatness. We will, too. I'm a real Pollyanna when it comes to hope and other people.
Just know you're loved by me who sees your goodness and uniqueness. You've made this the best hour and a half everyday that I put in. I'm also only about halfway through this story, just so you know. ;) Take care on this, our tenth anniversary together and know truly and forever how much you're loved.
