A New Team

Chapter Four: The Preliminary Rounds
Choji stood guard as he continued to watch Ino and Sakura as the girls rested from chakra exhaustion. Hour passed when Choji heard and grunt behind him. He looked to see Ino waking up and was at her side instantly.
"Ino, you are okay?" He asked.
Ino nodded as she turned to see Sakura. She got up and walked over to her, she made sure that she didn't have any wounds as Choji looked the other way. Frankly Choji was worried about it too, as both heard groans of waking up.
Sakura's eyes fluttered opened to see Ino and Choji looking at her. She slowly got up as she check her body and found nothing wrong with her but chakra lost. She knew her technique would take a lot out of her but this much, she could tell she was going to need Choji to carrier her a bit more.
"Sakura, are you okay?" Ino asked.
Sakura nodded her head at them and stated," A new technique I made really takes lots of chakra out of me. Choji, could you carry me a bit more?"
Choji nodded his head and stated," Sure, I can Sakura."
Choji walked over to Sakura and picked her up as he jumped from tree to tree while Ino made sure from time to time to check for enemies behind and at the sides. Slowly they made it at the tower without no more battles.
For the team it was very lucky, as Sakura still wasn't at her best yet. Her technique needed to be practiced more now, thus Ino and Choji were also lucky while they were okay to fight, and they didn't want to take on more than one opponent at a time. They were amazed by Sakura's story.
"I never knew you practice element jutsu's." Ino told her best friend.
"Good work, maybe you can teach me." Choji requested.
"Maybe, however I can't let you all, what I have been doing alongside training with your team." Sakura said. While they jumped tree to tree, thus stopping only for a natures calling.
Sakura made sure that she had the scrolls as they came to the tower. Slowly they seen their team name on it and walked over to it.
"Hey… girl." Sakura stopped along with Ino and Choji to see the team that had knocked out Ino and Choji standing at a door beside them. Sakura looked at them to see multiply wounds on each member that was poorly treatments to them.
"Ino, opened your door and go in. Choji wait outside with me. "Sakura told them. She walked over to them as the flinch a small bit. "Oh heaven's sake! I'm going to heal you."
Sakura placed her hands on the female first as to find out that she had a few cracked bones and cuts. Slowly healing them and also checking for any other on the girl, she smiled and went to the next ninja. His wounds were bad, he had a broken arm and one rib, and he had internal bleeding on the right side.
Sakura healed him as she made sure she took care of his internal bleeding first, as he looked down at her. Once she was doing this, the leader was watching her closely, making sure that she didn't kill his teammates.
Choji was close to just in case one was going to attack her. Sakura steps away and brush sweat that was coming down her face and forehead. She turned to the last one and healed his wounds. His wounds was easy just a few bruises and many cuts but nothing serious.
"Rest until the last rounds." Sakura told them. Sakura walked back to Choji as she fluttered with her footsteps as she made it to Choji as he helped her into their door.
"You should have not done that, Sakura." Choji stated. Once inside, Ino took Sakura and made sure that she was okay. Her chakra levels were low once more and they had to wait three more days, as they found it had a few couches. Choji placed Sakura on a couch and walked over to Ino.
Sakura woke up three hours later, feeling hungry as she seen Choji making diner and Ino chopping up the carrots, celery and any type of veg and even chicken pieces. She stood up and did an internal scan and found nothing injury or damage. She noticed that her chakra levels are deeper now too, as she continued to look over her body. She smiled as she stopped and walked over to her temporary teammates.
"Sakura, you okay?" Ino asked when she looked up to see Sakura walking over to them.
"Hai, I'm fine now and ready to get going again." Sakura replied as she looked around to see that they were within the tower now. She sighed as she looked at Choji and Ino. "Should we open the scrolls?"
Both of them nodded their heads at her and stood up as they walked over to the side near the wall lettering. Choji and Sakura took out their scrolls and opened them. Smoke puffed up and slowly disappeared and out step Asuma, with a smoke in his hand and a small smirk on his face.
"Congrats on passing this test. You have three days to rest, Ino and Choji. However I need to bring Sakura to the hospital as she will be needed soon as we have four different squads coming in with injuries." He told them.
Sakura nodded her head at Asuma and walked over to him, as she waved bye to Ino and Choji. Sakura and Asuma disappeared into the hospital. She raced into the nearest room and called out," Tsunade, I'm here."
Tsunade yelled out with a bit flustered," Sakura, it's good that you are here now. ANBU Team 3, 7 are injury with some type of poison and… different wounds. I'm looked into what type of poison but, I can't figure it out. Shizune is within the labour rooms, as two women came into the Labour and Delivery area within two hours from each other. I'm needed at the Chunin exam soon. I know you are within this exam; I will let you know more and all. If you take too long with healing them. Also I will see to if you miss the rest, you are award with Chunin level. Tsunade disappeared from sight, leaving a slightly confused and panicky Sakura.
Sakura shook her head and walked into the room with the poisoned ANBU members were staying. The room was large and had curtains around each bed and she made her way around. She pulled one curtain opened and walked into the small bed area. She took the clipboard and looked through each and everything that Tsunade wrote down.
Her eyes narrowed at this and reread the clipboard…what... Sakura seem something missing but thinking what it would be as she looked at the ANBU that was sleeping murmuring about puppets and explosives. She walked over and did a few hand signs and looked deeper into the poison and where it was.
The poison was very concentred within his chakra system. That this moment, Sakura pulled out and wrote down her findings and quickly swiped out and racing towards the Labour and Delivery area.
"Shizune!" Her voice raced out. Her mind was mostly on that poison eating at his chakra system and if Tsunade not to see it, she must have been overthinking something.
"Sakura-chan! What is it?" Shizune called poking her out of a blanket as she stated to her patient," breathe in and out."
"I need to get a Hyuga, right this minute." Sakura commanded. Shizune just looked at the young medic and smiled," Go and get one." Sakura disappeared quickly to the Hyuga household and knocked on the door.
Sakura waited for a few moments when the door opened to see Hiashi Hyuga, the clan leader. Sakura bowed to him and then stated," Lord Hyuga, I need someone to look over ANBU Members that have been poisoned that attacks the chakra system."
"What are the ANBU'S signs?" His voice held authority when he asked. His pearl white eyes stared at Sakura.
"Several signs, but I could tell more as my chakra went through his system. There was poison in nine different places when I know a chakra point is located, the poison is attacking each point. I need a Hyuga to be with me as I take out that poison. So I won't be damaging the chakra system more than it is." Sakura told him hurry.
Hiashi nodded his head as Sakura disappeared and then he did. Sakura and Hiashi appeared within the hospital wing that she was needed in. She made her way towards the ANBU's area as she called out," Aki! Haru! Mariko! Daichi!"
The four medics' she called out were within her sights and sides within seconds. "I need water buckets and everything to do with a poison extraction and I need it within my sights in thirty seconds." Sakura commanded.
Sakura brought Hiashi into the ANBU's room and brought him. "Look at him please." Hiashi did as she told him and stopped and replied," Your right. The poison is attacking him."
Within thirty seconds later, the four medics' that I called had brought what I needed along with two more medics to hold the ANBU member. I ordered them to hold him down as I asked Hiashi to guild me around the points that were the most trouble areas.
Sakura looked at the time and wrote down what she had done and asked for the poison to be looked at by Shizune when she was done with the Labour area. Hiashi looked over the ANBU member again. He looked at Sakura and nods his head as respect to her abilities, and then they went onto the next ANBU member.
Sakura slowly felt tired as weak for chakra as she ate two soldiers pills as the chakra came back up when Shizune came into the ward and noticed Sakura tired face as she looked at Hiashi as he had looked at the young medic and then towards the last ANBU member.
"Sakura, you go and rest." Shizune stated as she walked over to Sakura's side.
"I have this ANBU to take poison out of her." Sakura said tiredly. Shizune shook her head and looked at Sakura, as she looked over the ANBU member.
"I will take care of this ANBU. You go back to the Chunin tower and inform Tsunade-sama about this situation." Shizune ordered.
Sakura nodded her head at her and then stated," Fine, Shizune. We have enough poison to make antidotes."
Shizune just nodded her head at Sakura as she then disappeared back into the tower.
Sakura looked around for Tsunade as she made her way towards her. "Tsunade… the ANBU are going to be okay." Sakura then launch into the details of each ANBU members and the poison that was within each body. Even when Shizune taking over the last ANBU that was still poison and in the care of Shizune and Hiashi Hyuga.
"Tsunade-shishou, I'm going back to my team for some rest. Did you need anything else?" Sakura questioned.
"No, Sakura get some rest." Tsunade told her. Sakura nodded her head and disappeared and into her teams room. Ino and Choji both looked up at her and smiled.
"I need some food and sleep." Sakura told them.
The next day, Sakura woke up and did some warm up with stretches and small punches and kicks to get the blood pumping along with her heart. She looked over at Ino and Choji as they did either eating [Choji!] or brushing out their hair [Ino!]. Sakura made her way towards them and sat down, with a slightly red face and breathing more heavy.
She pulled out a scroll and read through it not once or twice but three times to gather as much information as she could while she was eating. She turned to Choji and Ino as both were either warming up or eating some breakfast.
Sakura finished eating as Ino and her trained together using Taijutsu without chakra fists [Sakura!] or smoke bombs and explosives tags. Two hours, later Ino and Sakura rested onto the ground, breathing heavily now as Choji was eating some chips.
Hours passed, as Sakura and her team were either talking about the exams, training, eating or reading to pass the time.
"Sakura… Sakura." A deep voice called. Sakura moaned into her sleep as someone was shaking her shoulder. Her green eyes opened to see Asuma looking at her with urgency.
"What? Asuma-sensei?" She asked.
"Tsunade wants you to see her now." He told her. Sakura nodded her head at him and got up from the bed. She washed her face to gather all the sleep out of it, as she disappeared from sight. She reappeared in front of Tsunade and bowed her head.
"Hai, Tsunade- shishou, you needed to see me." Sakura asked.
Tsunade brown eyes looked at Sakura and smiled first," Thanks to you the ANBU members were healed and are now resting. However it is that old man is giving Team Heiko trouble. I still don't get it. Why does he only allow you to heal him at his home?" She pondered out.
"I guess, I have the magic words, or touch. I guess he is in pain again?" Sakura asked.
Tsunade nodded her head at Sakura and stated," I wish I didn't need to send you now, but Team Heiko said, his pain is stronger now."
Sakura nodded her head and stated," The Chunin exams are still on the second exam for two more days. It would take me four hours to get to his home, if I raced myself here."
"I know, Haruno Sakura. Your mission is to heal Old man: Aki and return in two days' time." Tsunade ordered. Usually this mission is a C Rank and that she sends a team with Sakura, but since it is the Chunin exams. Sakura could and would handle this mission alone.
"Hai." Sakura stated. When she took her mission scroll and then she make her hand seals and disappeared back home and into her room. She gathered her extra medic bag and weapons as she placed them on herself. She walked out of her room and went down stairs as she didn't see her mother or father at the table as they were on their long vacation visiting family.
Sakura soon was jumping from tree to tree along the side Land of Fire near the ocean. She could feel the cool breeze on her face, neck, arms and her legs. The sea breeze with a hint of freshens, and a taste of seafood. Sakura raced along the side until she stopped at the side and look out into the sea.
"Is that her?" Sakura looked behind her to see three ninja's around her but she wasn't or couldn't tell for sure where they were from as she could not see their Hitai-ate.
"What can I do for you?" Sakura required as she was ready to either defend of attack them.
"She is the Hokage's apprentice! Since Tsunade-sama is the Hokage and Shizune is at the hospital. Haruno Sakura is the third best medic-nin there is. The Third needs her help!" Sakura was flattered by this that she was the third best but she also didn't like it when they tone the words.
It felt like they were going to kidnapped her or so and that cannot be done. She had to get on her mission and get back to Konoha to complete the Chunin exams. But she couldn't let someone that needed her help….
"Fine. You grab her." One said, cutting the thoughts that Sakura was going for. Sakura readied herself as the right ninja attack her.
She kicked out only using her natural strength and not chakra. She didn't want to hurt them too badly. It had knocked him into two trees making him fall onto the ground knocked out, leaving two more to either take on.
Sakura was ready for the next one, when she felt the tingle of Genjutsu washing over her like waves, she quickly did hand signs and yelled," Kai!" The illusion was broken but she couldn't defend herself when the second ninja hit her neck, knocking her out, Sakura heard the last words them exchanged.
"Damn, she can kick hard and that was without chakra." The male that held her said.
"After this… I wondered what Lord Tsuikage will do?" Sakura didn't hear anything after that.
The next time, Sakura woke up. She was being held tightly in the arms of a ninja... Sakura remember that last bit of the conversation before, she took her forceful nap. The Third Tsuikage… was needing to be… what healed? Saved? But if that is true than why not ask, the Hokage for help? Her mind was wondering around this more questions and the information about the Third Tsuikage.
However, she couldn't heal anyone without a mission or Tsunade knowing. Sakura was wondering how she was going to get out of this as she gently moved her head around as she whimpered at the knob at her neck. "That bastard hit me!" Inner Sakura yelled as her fist was ready to punch.
This was when Sakura noticed that she wasn't binded and either was her chakra. This was making her think, what three ninja's don't tie up their captive and block their chakra's with seals? Were they dumb or just forgetful?
Sakura used a bit of her chakra to break out of the male's arm, making his hiss at her. The other one holding onto the not wake ninja looked back and cursed loudly.
Sakura quickly did hand seals and disappeared from sight, reappearing a few miles away. She breathed in and out as she took a glance around her surroundings to see she was just about at the Old Man's village and home. Sakura made sure she kept a look out as she made her way towards the village.
Along the way, Team Heiko meet with her, four ninja's, mostly at Chunin level and with one Jounin level ninja. Sakura told them what happened as they surrounded her as well with their leader behind her, while two were on either side of her and one ahead of her.
"So, what did the rock ninja's need with you?" The Jounin asked.
"To heal someone, they keep on saying, the third Tsuikage needs healing." Sakura told him again. She had told him about three times already as they continued to run into the village and towards the old Man's house; Aki.
Sakura knocked as she heard "come in" she opened the door and walked into the household as she seen two chambermaids racing around as she heard shouts. Sakura smirked at this and took off her shoes and walked into the home more.
She walked towards the areas, where she knew the Old Man; Aki was and there he was, waiting for her. She smiled him and walked over.
"Hello, Aki-san. How are you feeling today? No… let me guess," Sakura said as she placed her finger onto her chin and thought for a moment or two. "Sore, grumpy and piss off."
Aki just laughed at Sakura as he murmured out," Hai, to all of them. And where were you? You are the medic I requested all the time. Dear girl, you are the only one that gets my crude humor. Sexy!"
Sakura rolled her eyes at the word "Sexy" but giggled at him. "I'm in the middle of taking my Chunin exams. So I can go out on bigger mission and harder ones. "Sakura told him.
Sakura took her time with looking into Aki body as she wrote down everything she seen as she slowly took out some more poison that he had from…his son... Akito. It was just over a year ago, when his son started poisoning him and that had led to Konoha ninja's coming in and healing him and had ended up killing Akito. It was Sakura, with Team Gai that came here.
Sakura main job as to identify what was hurting Aki-Sama and heal him, Gai's team was to identify the person and deal with him or her. It was by small chance that Akito revealed himself to her when she was healing his father. She had to knock him out and called for Neji as he was the only one that was still within the household.
Tenten, Lee and Gai-sensei were out looking to the person. Sakura had found out that the poison was too intergraded into Aki-san, she would have to come back and heal him when and once his pain become too much.
Sakura thought that this was a terror fate for the elder male, to do be healed every few months for the rest of his life. Sakura wrote notes down as she used her chakra to ease Aki-sama's pain and started to gather the items, she need to exact the poison from him.
"Aki-sama, I'm ready…are you sure you don't want someone to be with you?" Sakura asked again.
Aki-sama had refused to have anyone holding him down or even placing him to sleep. The stubborn old man, was so going to be in more pain.
"Sakura-chan, when do I ever need someone to hold me down?" Aki asked Sakura.
Sakura shook her head at him and muttered," No one." After that she had everyone leaving the room and Sakura looked at Aki-sama as he nodded his head at her.
Sakura placed her hands on his kimono and undressed his chest, resting the upper part of the kimono; Sakura placed one hand into the water and slowly placed the hand onto his chest. Sakura started the progress of exaction the poison, Aki-sama whimpered in pain at first then it turned to become hissing and then screams of agony. Sakura stopped after the ten one and placed some of the poison into vials. She was almost very closer to discover the antidote for this poison.
She cleaned him up and redressed Aki-sama as he had fainted at the end. She felt so sorry for him, and that this had happened to him. Sakura stood up and called for the other team to help her clean up, as she talked to the Jounin in charge when he asked about the screams of pain.
"He never wanted a people to know about this… or see him as weak. Even his wife wasn't allowed in the room when I first came here. "Sakura melancholy muttered to him.
After them had cleaned up, Sakura knew it was time of her to go when she heard nothing. Nothing… She tense up as she looked around to see the Jounin and his team staring at nothing.
"Damn it!" Sakura whispered lightly as she did some hand signs again and said," Kai." Nothing happened as she looked to the right as she heard movement. She slowly took out a kunai and moved over to the noise.
She looked around before opening the door to see Aki-sama still sleeping but he was not alone. The three rock ninja's were there. Her eyes widen at this and stated," Stay away from him."
"I would…unless you come with us now." The leader commanded. Sakura breathed in and out, as she mentally told herself, yes or no. Her chakra was half gone, as she couldn't take on all the ninja's that were either around Chunin or higher levels then hers. It was luck the first time she got away from them.
"Fine. I will come with you." Sakura snapped finally at him as the other two came near her. One held some chains… possible to suppressed her chakra and the other one had some rope to tie her up with.
"I will go with you. No need for the drama effects." Sakura muttered with sarcasm reaching to disbelief tone.
"Sorry, but we can't take that chance. You wouldn't come with us." The leader stated to her more calming and away from Aki-sama.
Sakura felt her hands being tied and her chakra being suppressed by the chains. The male on her right picked her up and slowly carried her as a bride, making her blush in embarrassment while the second one held onto her pack.
"We wasted too much time here. Third Tsuikage needs us now." He ordered. Sakura felt herself flying through the air as she looked around to see the opened skies. She whimpered as she seen the ground fifty or more feet below her. She grabbed onto the male that held her and muttered," Flying…. This is new… scared…."
The one that held her looked shocked to see that Sakura would have held onto him. He could feel her trembling as she looked down but he had no time to let her know about this, time wasn't on their side. He speed up in the air as Sakura waited for them to stop. It must have been more than three hours since she had being in the air when they dropped towards the ground.
The male placed her onto her feet as she looked around to see a cottage. The cottage was large, and was surrounded by four squads of rock ninja's. She was slowly unlocked and brought into the cottage.
"This is the little girl?"
Sakura looked at the male that said that to see he was large and built with two swords on his back. His hard cold eyes glared at her. However she raised her eye brow at him knowing he could kill her fast without feeling a thing, Sakura said nothing but she gave him a glare that made him clutch at her.
"Hai, this is Haruno Sakura." The leader stated to the built male in front of them.
"Hn. This way." He ordered. He looked at Sakura and let some emotions into his eyes." Save him, please…"
Sakura nodded her head, even though they had kidnapped her but it was to save someone's life. Sakura followed him into a clean and white room, Sakura could see the third Tsuikage, on the bed as his eyes were closed but she could see the painful features written on his face. Sweats cloaking his face and pillow, redness around his cheek, and eyes were many signs of his poison reacting to his body, chakra and possible his element type.
Sakura placed her hair into a ponytail and walked over to him. She read his chart and looked to see two medics' looking at her. Sakura placed the chart down and she needed to see third herself before trying anything.
Sakura placed her hands into the sink and washed them clean. After she dry them, she peek open the eyes of the third and continued on with her own examination and noticed a few things about this poison, it was just about the same as Aki, however with the Third it was also attacking his element pathways.
In words, it was taking away his ability to use whatever element he uses and has, Sakura looked up to see the four within the room were looking at her with distrusted and hopefulness. She actually wanted to sigh at this but didn't.
Sakura snapped into her medic mode and turned her glaze at the two medic-nin within the room. "First…you two… I need eight large bowls of medicinal fluid now. "She ordered them as she turned to face the other two." Second I need two more ninja's to be within here holding down Lord Third to kept him from hurting himself."
The leader looked at her, and nodded his head, "I'll get two more. Lee with stay with you and you two medic's get the items she had requested." He disappeared from his area along with the two medics'.
Moments later, he came into the room with the two others, Sakura had requested and slowly watched as the two medics and six others carrying the large bowls of the medicinal fluid. Slowly each one placed bowl onto the table. Then the six walked out of the room and were going back to their guarding positions. Sakura washed her hands thoroughly as she made the others do the same thing.
Slowly she was ready to handle this task. Sakura told them what she was doing and what she needed to do, she made a small incision in the chest as she summoned she chakra to make the medicinal fluid.
She started as the members she had held onto the Third and pushed the fluid into his body. He groaned in pain as Sakura pulled out the fluid after a minute. She held on the fluid as she dropped it into the bowl and asked for the next one.
"Was that the poison?" One asked.
"Hai, it is." Sakura replied as she pushed more fluid into his body. This progress of this operation took a few hours, to gather most of the poison within his body. Sakura knew that technique requires the utmost care and ability in diagnosis, incising and unmatched chakra control and is therefore, it is considered an extremely difficult technique, even among medical Ninjutsu. She had to constraint her chakra to move slowly and precisely move the fluid from and to each hand.
Slowly she pulled back and wipes her forehead as she stood back. "The third is out of danger for now. I would still need to make the antidote." She told them.
Each one had a smile on their faces, all but one. That was the leader that called her "little girl." Sakura took her head and lightly ordered the medic's about and slowly took one of the bowls with the poison. Sakura walked outside and placed it on the table near the door, then she pick up the table as the guards watched her moves, with some shock. She placed it down and looked around for plants.
Sakura founded what she was looking for five minutes later as she turned to see the leader that kidnapped her following her around with a medic also it make sure that she didn't poison the third to death. She thought. She smiled and walked back to the house. She slowly grinded and skinned the plants and started making an antidote.
Next Sakura tested the antidote by dripping a small amount on the poison on the scroll. The leader and her watched as it disappeared, Sakura smiled and looked at him and nodded her head.
"The antidote is ready." Sakura said, as she made a cup of the antidote and then placed the rest into two vials to be used later. They walked back into the house and went into the next room to see The Third had awakened from his sleep.
"Lord Third." the two besides Sakura stated and gave both giving him a bow. Sakura continued walking over to him and muttered," Here is the antidote for you, Lord Tsuikage."
She showed him the cup and stated," Your hands will be shake from the poison, so please open your mouth for one of your medic's." She gave the cup to the medic beside her and step back to show she was no threat to him.
"Who are you?" His voice was hard and ghastly asked. His black eyes narrowed at her headband. "Konoha?!"
Sakura nodded her head at him and stated proudly," Hai, Lord Tsuikage, I'm Haruno Sakura from Konoha. Your men needed me to diagnosis you, treat you and heal you from the poison you had. From what I had analyzed, the poison itself attacks your chakra ways also but more important it attacks your element pathways, taking your abilities away from using them. This is just about the second time I had seen this type of poison."
Sakura stopped and continued onwards," I'm not sure, who makes this poison, but it needs to be stopped. Right now, you have two more antidotes just encase it happens again to your men or yourself. "
Tsuikage looked at Sakura with a shocked look coming over his face. "Can I back to exams now?" Sakura puffed out. She was needed back in Konoha for the rest of the Chunin exams.
"I thank you for saving me. Wait, what are you doing here then?" He required.
"I was at the Chunin exams, when Aki-san needed to be healed again and he only lets me heal him. So I had to go and heal him, then…I got kidnapped by three of your ninja's to come and heal you." Sakura told him.
The third snapped his fingers and ordered," Write a scroll, the three that got you will accompany you back to Konoha with the scroll."
The Tsuikage guard just to write the scroll quickly and handed it to the leader that kidnapped her. She nodded her head at him and uttered," The antidote will get the remaining poison soon, so no running around and anything that will make you sweat. So bed rest for a day or two."
Sakura ran within the group, as she hadn't talk to the others. Until she noticed one of them, was holding his side while running back to Konoha.
"Wait." She called out as she made her way to the ninja that was holding his side when they stop.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were hurt?" She asked as she gathered her chakra into her hand and smooths his hand away from his side. Healing his side took less then fifteen seconds to do so as she prodded for any other injuries he got from her. Nothing else was found, as she pulled her hand back and let go of her chakra.
"You were needed in a hurry and my injury wasn't that bad." He whispered out.
"Not bad, I broke three of your ribs and one was just about to go through your lung. That's not bad. Men, always thinking that you are immortal." Sakura rushed out in disbelief as well as she was talking mostly to herself and shaking her head.
"Miss Haruno, we need to get going again." The leader called her out of the daze.
Sakura looked at him and nodded her head at him and they continued onwards. Sakura wanted to know how long she was within them now," How long ago did you kidnap me?" Sakura asked.
"Unless then nine hours." One answered.
Long enough for Tsunade to know and hear about this. There is one word that can call this situation… Shikamaru's favorite word… Troublesome. She smirked at that, as she continued with the three rock ninja's.
Sakura stopped for a few seconds to catch her breath when she felt some ninja's coming closer to them. "Gentlemen, we…
"We know. It's some Jounin's from your village. "The leader stated.
Within moments, Kakashi stood with two others that Sakura didn't know but knew that they had to be Jounin level ninja's.
"Sakura, are you okay?" Kakashi asked as he was looking over his student to see if they had hurt her. Finding no none that he could see, he turns his gaze on the three rock ninja's.
Sakura knew he wanted to hurt them as she walked forward and told them what was going on, leaving nothing out and even asking for the scroll to show Kakashi. After Sakura had told the story to him, he looked over the scroll, making sure that it didn't have a Genjutsu on it and then check Sakura for one too.
"Good, let's get back to Konoha. You three will follow." Kakashi ordered seriously as he took Sakura's hand and pull her to his side and asked quietly," Did they hurt you?"
"No, Kakashi-sensei. They didn't hurt me even after I hurt them too." Sakura stated. Slowly the six Jounin's and one Genin raced off back towards Konoha.
Four hours later, Sakura was dead tired as she made Kakashi carry her back to get some rest. She knew Kakashi didn't have a problem with carrying her at all, as her eyes dropped close into a restful sleep.
The next thing she was hearing was a shouting scream and being pulled away from someone. Sakura's eyes opened to see Tsunade holding onto her with a constricting grip.
"Tsunade-Shishou! I'm fine. I wasn't hurt." Sakura told her as she gave her a small hug.
"Oh, Sakura…I thought…" Tsunade said as she whispered the rest into her ear. As she finally let go of her and looked at the three rock ninja's with a glare but didn't move towards them.
She held out her hand towards Kakashi as he gave her the scroll. She pulled it open.
Tsunade-hime,
She read through the rest of it as she sighed and looked at Sakura as she nodded her head at Tsunade.
"His poison?" She asked firmly.
"Like Aki-sans poison but a little different. It had another comportment within it that attacks the element pathways that we have." Sakura stated in her medic voice.
"Good, get back to your Chunin tower room with your teammates." Tsunade commanded. Sakura nodded her head and looked at Kakashi to poof her away with him. Seconds later, Sakura was being held by Ino as she cried out.
"Tsunade told us that you were on a mission and you were kidnapped." Ino whimpered out. Sakura explained the story again as Choji and Ino looked over their friend.
"Get some sleep, Sakura. We have unless then fourteen hours left." Ino told her. Ino took Sakura over to the large room with two beds within them as she got Sakura into the bed and tucked her.
Twelve hours later, Sakura woke up and check herself over to see her chakra was back to full and that her chakra levels were deeper than before. She had to smile on that one. Sakura stretch out and got up from the bed and went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror and frowned.
Her hair was all over the place like a rat made its house it her hair. She took off her skirt and shirt throwing them onto the ground and turning to the shower. Sakura shrubs down her body with unscented body wash and did the same for her hair, with unscented shampoo and conditioner.
After finishing with the shower, Sakura got dressed in capris that were black, as she also wrapped white tape on her leg and she placed her kunai holder and then continued dressing with a red top. She walked out of the room and towel dried her hair.
"Damn, it's getting too long again. Ino!" Sakura called out as she waited to her friend to come into the room. Seconds passed as Ino opened the door and walked into the room.
"Sakura-chan! Are you feeling better now? And what is it now?" Ino asked.
"I'm feeling fine now. I need you to trim my hair again." Sakura stated. She sat down on her bed as Ino came up behind her with her kunai.
"Short, like same time." Ino required. Sakura nodded her head and Ino started to trimming, five minutes later. Sakura felt her hair with her hand and smiled at Ino.
"Thanks, Ino." Sakura told her.
After that, Ino took her shower leaving Sakura with Choji as he was still eating some chips. After thirty minutes, Ino came back out and into the main room. Choji slowly left for his own shower.
"Calling all participates, report to the main hall! Calling all participates, report to the main hall!"
Sakura, Ino and Choji stood up with their bags and walked out of their room, along with the other teams that had made it. Sakura counted sixty genin's, including Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Tenten, Lee and Neji from Konoha and Gaara, Temari and Kankuro along with one more team from Suna that were walking along the halls. That was lots left still, however this Chunin exams was bigger than her first time.
The preliminary rounds will be long and costly if she had to fight more than twice. She counted her abilities and if she had to fight more than twice battles she would be risky or disqualified and would have to wait six more months to get her rank up to Chunin and that was what she didn't want.
Sakura would be a Chunin after this exam. She breathed in and out, she check her chakra levels once again before she walked into the large room with the others. After they lined- up Tsunade started a speech word for word from the Third when he told us last time.
This time no genin rose their hand. Everyone went up on the top that was bigger than last time.
"Thank god on that note." Inner Sakura whispered.
"Now where have you been?" Sakura questioned her inner self.
"You don't need me much anymore. So I sort've disappeared, but I can be done if you want." She stated.
Sakura didn't say anything at all to inner, as she disappeared after she had said. She turned to the large screen as two names appeared.
Seto Fu
VS
Choji Akimichi
Choji grumbled about being the first battle as he jumped from the side down as did his opponent. Seto was wearing a headband from cloud as he stood in the middle with Choji.
Sakura could see Seto had a bit larger chakra levels, than Choji but either than that. Sakura couldn't see what else this young cloud genin had under his long sleeves. He had one of the shocking type of teeth, she had even seen, fanged like teeth…more like a shark style of teeth. His hair was light blue and short.
Sakura counted to ten as she wondered if Choji will win or lose. When she heard," Why do I get the fatso?"
Ino gasped at Seto but then smirked and then turned to Sakura. "He said the taboo word." Ino recalled as she laughed softly.
"Fatso!" Choji roared into the air, as he stomped his feet onto the ground and slapped his hands together.
He stormed forwards with speeds that Seto didn't know he had. Choji punched Seto hard in the face as Seto was flow back hard. Seto growled at this as he stood back up and took out a kunai and took off towards Choji as he made his hand larger and swing right at Seto.
Seto was knocked to the side again and held tightly as Choji pulled his arm back with him within it.
"I'm not fat! I'm bone!" He yelled at him and flew him hard into the ground three times before Seto was knocked out for good this time.
"Winner Choji Akimichi" The Jounin called out. Choji smiled and jumped back up onto the top with his team. Ino gave him a hug as Sakura nodded her head at him. "Good job Choji."
The medic's came and got Seto Fu from the ground and took him back to the hospital to treat him. Next the names came on and slowly formed two names Sakura didn't know.
Ryuu
VS
Kaiba Kai
Two males jumped onto the middle and waited for attack. One was wearing a cloud headband and the other was rock. This battle was short as Ryuu was jointed into a Genjutsu that had him crying out in pain and he stabbed his neck.
"Shit." Sakura muttered as she watched as Kaiba Kai let go of the Genjutsu as he was declared the winner of the second match. Once again, the medic's come and went and the screen placed on more names.
Forty minutes later, Sakura sighed as Choji was called back into the ring and knocked out by Kaiba Gozaburo. His opponent was the twin brother Kai. Both brothers were different by day and night.
Kai was using Genjutsu or Taijutsu while Gozaburo was using Ninjutsu or Taijutsu both were wearing ninja shoes, style black and blue. Their pants were either brown or green and the mesh tops were brown along with vest over top of it, which was green.
The screen scanned through names again.
Sakura Haruno
VS
Kana Yoshi
Sakura jumped from the top area to the ground as she seen a female doing the same on the other side. Her opponent had long green hair and emerald green eyes. Sakura could also tell she was heavily into Taijutsu more as her body was very muscular along with scars on her legs and arms.
They meet in the middle of the room and looked at each other. Sakura was trying to find a weakness and it had to be fast, she didn't want to show too many techniques. So she also had to punch with minor chakra within.
"Begin!" The Jounin proctor stated. He stood back and watched.
Kana attacked first, throwing combos at Sakura. Sakura dodged and throw her own punch was, Kana screamed in pain. Sakura had just broken her hand and arm with a shattering sound. Sakura stood back and was ready for her attack again.
"I surrender..." Kana hissed out as she held onto her arm. Sakura raised her eye brow and looked at the male at the side.
"Winner Sakura Haruno." He called out. Sakura jumped onto the side with her teammates.
"Good job, Sakura." Ino said as she gave Sakura a hug. Choji munched onto his chips while saying good job also.
Slowly two hours went by with extreme short battles to long battles. Most of Konoha teams had won a few times; Choji was knocked out in his second battle against someone from Sand and went to the hospital. Ino was chakra deleted by her third battle as she wasn't here, as she went to the hospital. Kiba, Shino and Hinata had two turns each, while Tenten was having her second round now, with a male from mist.
"Winner Tenten." The proctor called out.
Lee was out cold from his first battle with Kaiba Kai as the later used Genjutsu. Neji was on his second fight now with a person from mist. Seconds after, the battle was ended.
Sakura made a head count to see there was still a bit more battle to go through. The screen raced through the names again.
Kaiba Kai
VS
Sakura Haruno
Sakura jumped down and stood in the middle again. She needed to be ready for his Genjutsu and fast. Her eyes locked onto his black ones and were trying to read want he was going to do.
"I get a girl…" Kai muttered.
Sakura rolled her eyes and smirked at this. This was going to be fun.
"Begin." The Proctor called out.
Sakura disappeared from sight and appeared behind Kai. She kicked out as his arm caught her leg, she smirked and placed chakra into the leg. Sakura flipped back taking Kai with her as she made a back flip with him flying with her. However Kai was quick on his feet as he disappeared as Sakura was looking around behind, front, sides and above.
The only way was below…just as a hand came up; Sakura grabbed his hand and pulled up quickly giving him a punch in his stomach and an extra kick to his head, knocking him out. Sakura back up and waited as she even made sure she wasn't in a Genjutsu.
"Winner, Sakura Haruno." The proctor stated.
Sakura jumped back with Asuma and Kakashi, whom was given permission by Tsunade to watch her fights. One more hour passed and it was now time to do two more rounds. She was the only one left on her team, along with Kiba and Shino, Neji and Tenten from Konoha. From Sand was, Gaara, Kankuro and Temari and one more sand ninja but Sakura didn't know the name of her.
Cloud had two males that got to the final round, two from mist in the final round; this is if the last waterfalls ninja losing his battle next round. The screen showed.
Sakura Haruno
VS
Hinata Hyuuga
"Oh, boy. This was going to be harder than I thought." Sakura thought. Sakura and Hinata jumped down and made their way to the middle.
"Hey, Hinata. Let's do our bests." Sakura said.
"I like that Sakura-san." Hinata voice was quiet.
"I have to either make this fast…or use that technique. " Sakura thought to herself.
"Begin!" The proctor yelled.
Hinata took her style of Taijutsu, as Sakura grabbed two kunai's from her pack. She raced forward first but dodge quickly left as she threw one kunai first and then moved faster around. The three months training was very good for her speed. She had launched her second kunai at Hinata from behind. Then she attacked once that kunai was thrust to the ground.
Sakura swipe at Hinata's side hard as she tried to pull back but didn't do it quickly enough. Her left arm was hit as two of her chakra points were closed. Hinata went onto the offensive now, as she moved with much more grace and style then the first time she had seen.
Ten minutes, this battle was going on now, Sakura and Hinata were drench of sweat and blood now, Sakura had to use most of her weapons at Hinata. Hinata attacked her, Sakura jumped out quickly as she smiled and did a front flip three times in midair, she could hear Hinata gasping in shock.
Sakura landed as she called out," Doton Kage Bunshin [1]! Three other Sakura's came out as there was now four Sakura's. Two went off the right; two went to left boxing Hinata in.
"Sakura…" Hinata whispered.
Oh, Sakura knew that Hinata could tell what one would be real, but she had placed a bit more chakra in each of the clones, so it would be harder to tell what one is the real one. She could have smiled but that would have given her away.
Each Sakura did different hand signs, "Doton: Dosekiryū [2], Raijū Hashiri no Jutsu! [3], Katon: Endan.[4], Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu.[5]! Each technique went towards Hinata. Sakura could see she didn't know what to do as she shook her head and asked," Hinata will you surrender?"
"I Surrender." Hinata stated.
Sakura appeared at her side and grabbed her as the earth, lightning and fire attacks smack into each other. Flashes of lightning jointed the ground hard, fire burn at top of them and earth crumbled into pieces of solid rock.
"Hinata, you okay?" Sakura asked.
"I'm okay." She stated. Sakura and Hinata got up and looked around to see some genin's were looking at Sakura.
"Sakura, you have gotten stronger." Hinata whispered.
"Winner, Sakura Haruno!" The proctor called out. His eyes were looking at the damage of the arena.
Sakura had Hinata open the chakra points that she had closed that was not as many as Sakura first thought but when Hinata told her that ripped in two of them to use chakra. She looked at Hinata and asked a few questions.
Kaiba Gozaburo
VS
Shin Kawabata
The two males went onto their arena after it was cleaned a bit as they begin and ended quickly with Gozaburo as the winner.
Everyone that had won was facing Tsunade as she explained that there will be royal rounds in an month's time. Sakura looked around to see, Kiba, Shino, Tenten, Neji, Gaara, Kankuro and Temari and herself were the ones that she knew by names and villages.
Gozaburo, Kentaro, Yoshimaru were from cloud along with two from mist were Kenta and Seijo and now she knew the final sand ninja that got into the final rounds was Mimi were in the final round.
"Now, each of you will pick a number. 1 and 2 will fight, 3 and 4 will fight and so on and so on." Tsunade stated.
The proctor came up and stood in front of Neji as Sakura watched as he pulled out a 5. Slowly went down the row, Kiba gotten 1, Shino was 3, Tenten was 8 and Gaara was 10. Kankuro had the number 4 a match up with Shino again from the first time. Temari had 7 and was with Tenten again.
"Poor Tenten." Sakura though.
Gozaburo gotten 2, Kentaro picked out 9, Mimi was with 11 along with Seijo. Once it was Sakura's turned, she had pick out…6. "Damn it! Neji is my opponent, this is not good."
"Don't show fear." Inner Sakura appeared.
"Easy for you to say" Sakura muttered.
Yoshimaru had picked number 13 and Kenta had number 14. At the end of it, the stands looked like this.

7, 8 Temari and Tenten
9, 10 Kentaro and Gaara
