A New Team

Chapter Nine:

Seven? Sakura thought. Her eyes turned to Akio more now. "Akio, what do you mean the seven?" Sakura questioned.

"Auntie Hana and Uncle Hiroshi had seven at one time and there in the house." Akio puffed out with a large grin.

Seven! Sakura thought. What… the… actual…hell! Sakura look at him with disbelief. "I'm going in and checking. Stay here."

Akio and the others nodded their tiny heads at her. She could see that they were trying not to look at the dead bodies of their family. Poor little ones, she stood up and started towards the gates into the houses.

A few more bodies but they were sliced by the neck. Sakura walked to see some farming on the side with a well near it. She could see a form on the ground near the well. She made her way towards the form. It was a female that was older. Her neck was twisted to the side. Then she walked more towards one of the homes. Sakura looked around to see no one around and walked into the home.

She searched the house and found two other bodies. Both dead, one was slit throat and the other was slice in the stomach. Then nothing. That orange mask man must have thought that they slice had killed him instantly but he was wrong. Something was on the floor beside him.

Sakura looked at it. It was written in his blood. Crude writing as she made out some of the words as she did realize it was written in code. After several minutes of reading, it over and over. She finally understood the message.

To the person that finds this,

We are the last of the Uchiha clan. To the one that finds us, I employ you to destroy your eyes. That is a must! Stabbing them and taking them away is a must. Once again, I must employ you to take your eyes again! Any of the kids that make it, please take care for them. They are the future of the clan… and are only children.

I plead with you take your eyes away and the children to a safe place.

Uchiha Goro

Sakura bit her lip at his words. She pulled out a scroll and copied what the message was. She pulled out a glass jar. This was going to be sick but she would honor his last request. But she would not stab their eyes. She took pull her kunai and gently removed his eyes and the Uchiha right beside him.

After doing that, she went outside and gathered the other eyes of the clan. She knew some medics might want to use them for cruel experiments. Bile rose in Sakura's throat at what she was doing.

Sakura stepped back and went into the last house at the end. Upon walking in, she could hear cries. She raced towards the bedroom and walked into a large nursery. She gasped at the cribs showed…seven. She went to each one to see seven infants all crying. Tears falling on their faces.

She winches at the sounds. She picked one up and rocked with the little one. Rocking the little one and doing it six more times. She was tired and truly wanted to get out of here. So much death around here was making her antsy. She moved around and seen baby items that she truly needed for the ones outside as well.

Packing them and walking outside to the back of this house to see a few large carts. Sakura moved to the largest one and placed the bags she packed into the cart. Sakura after packing the cart, she went to get two horses and hitch them on. Sakura walked back in the home and started to pick up the infants in the room, two at a time. She went back and forward fourth times to get them all.

She climbed into the front and drove the cart outside and smiled to see Akio and the others waiting here. Infants were crying through. Sakura cursed about this. Food, they are hungry." She thought.

She got each infant into the cart and same with the slightly older ones as well. "Akio, stay here again. "Sakura gently told him. She could see, he was getting tired of staying here.

She got up and quickly did the eyes surgery on each of the Uchiha's in the clearing and back to the other homes as well. Sakura walked back and got into the cart and drove it towards the village.

Once she got to the village, she went right to an older lady.

"Madam, I need some help. There are twenty-six infants in that cart and all are hungry. Can you show me how to make formula?" Sakura questioned.

The lady's eyes widen and looked at the cart. "Follow me." With that said. Sakura drove the lady and the cart to her house.

About an hour later, Sakura was rocking one of the small infants as she had her shirt off to give her some warmth to the little. She blushed as she had some helpers from the younger ladies of the village feeding each infant and getting the newborns papers all done and completed.

Kakashi still wasn't back yet and she was getting worried for him. She held onto the little one tighter to her chest. She had asked about the small homes in the woods to the lady. Kaede had told her that they came over six years ago and had been helping keep the village safe and doing jobs around the village and the few villages around here.

It sounded like, some Uchiha's clan members left before the massacre that had happened. And somehow settled here. She had to get the young ones back to Konoha. She glanced down at the young one and somehow all the children had wormed there way into her heart.

"Come on, Kakashi." She muttered.

"Yo." Sakura turned to see Kakashi standing here with some blood on him. Sakura smiled at him. "Are you hurt? Kakashi-sensei."

Kakashi appeared back in the village and went to the area where he had left Sakura. To see, she was gone. He tilted his head at this and narrowed visible eye. He told her to stay here. She turned to see a villager walking around.

He walked over to him. "Hello, Ninja-san. What can I do for you?"

"Have you seen a pink haired…"

"Oh, yes. I have. She is at the large house in blue. By the way, thank you for saving us." He told Kakashi.

Kakashi walked down the street towards the blue home that the male villager had showed him. He came across Sakura without her shirt on as he heard her muttering to herself. Once she had turned to him, he was shocked to see her holding onto a small infant.

He could also tell, that the infant was smaller than usually and had ebony hair. He blushed as he shook his head away from his student.

"What is going on? Sakura." Kakashi asked.

Sakura blushed as Kakashi shook his head. She looked down at herself and shook her head. She walked over to get a blanket. After wrapping it around herself and the baby.

Sakura wondered how she was going to tell him about all of this. She bit her lip and nodded her head as her mind came up with a solution.

"Kaede, can you take the little one now?" Sakura asked. Kaede came out and smiled gently to her.

"Hai, I can. Sakura." She turned to see a silver haired male here. Her eyes narrowed at him. "This is my sensei. Kaede. I need to show him." Sakura told her. "Let the children sleep and I will be back."

Kaede smiled and took the infant as Sakura placed on her shirt fast. "Kakashi, this way." Sakura told him.

Kakashi followed her. "After you left, I started to heal the villagers that needed to be healed. When a small boy came to me. He asked me for help. I left the area where you said to stay."

"By the way, I'm mad about that. However, that isn't the last of the story. "Sakura continued to lead him into the woods. "The boy named Akio took me here." They came to the clearing.

Kakashi looked at the bodies and noticed features on them. He turned to Sakura to see she was nodding at him.

"They are all Uchiha's. The small infant you seen me holding is Uchiha." Sakura stated.

A/N- I'm going to leave it here. Why are they some many infants? You must be wondering. The herb that Sakura seen, it the main item of that. Ancient herb that acts like an egg releaser. Yes, the three older Uchiha boys will be coming into the story soon. Until next time. See ya.
