Tsuyu looked to Fumikage the moment the buzzer stopped "Get to the sewer, I'll draw her to you. Kero. Try to follow me from within the sewers if you can."
Fumikage nodded and quickly made his way to the nearest sewer grate while Tsuyu crouched and quickly jumped up to the side of a building. She needed to find Flintlock, she didn't really know what the Pro-Hero could do, but she would worry about that when she regrouped with Fumikage.
Tsuyu traversed the streets, sticking to the alleyways, and climbing high where she'll be able to jump to the rooftop or make a large leap to escape if necessary. She only crossed out into the open streets with fast hops to avoid staying in the open too long. They still didn't know what Flintlock's quirk was, best not to take the risk in case it has to do with range attacks.
It was when she decided to try crossing a street again that she found her opponent. Or rather, her opponent found her.
"Well, well, well." Tsuyu turned and saw Flintlock casually sitting on the roof of a bus. "I thought you'd try and wait out the clock by hiding in a building." She slowly stood up and just stared down at the frog-like girl. "Nice to see my first victims of the day are a little braver than anticipated."
"Kero!" Tsuyu immediately hopped back to the alleyway she came from, intent on making it to the sewer grate she saw. "Not today, Sensei!"
"Oh, I love it when they run.~" She heard the masked hero say from behind her.
Tsuyu quickly hopped down the alley, and to turn a corner she jumped to the wall and launched herself off it to turn. While doing so, she saw Flintlock was keeping up with her at incredible speeds. 'She's fast. Maybe a speed quirk?" She mentally theorized.
Seeing the sewer grate, she jumped once more, and while in the air shot her tongue out and grabbed hold of the grate, before pulling it up and opening her entrance into the sewers. Though, Tsuyu wasn't one to miss an opportunity. She used the very same grate and threw it at her pursuer behind her, before quickly descending into the dark below.
Behind her, Flintlock would see the projectile heading straight for her and simply dodged by sliding under it, allowing it to pass over her head and miss. She only stopped when she reached the manhole and looked down into the darkness. "Slippery little one, aren't you?!" She called out into the sewer. "But don't think those tunnels will stop me from finding you! I always find my targets." And with that, she jumped into the darkness in pursuit of her student.
Tsuyu was surprised to see that the sewers were dimly lit by work lights, but she was happy that this was the case. She knew she couldn't navigate in complete darkness…deciding that speed was more necessary than caution she splashed down into the water of the sewer and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was, in fact, no shit or piss to be found. Now to regroup with her teammate.
Back at the viewing platform, the class watched as Asui searched for Flintlock, only for their mysterious mentor to be casually sitting atop a bus. The class was just as surprised as Asui when Flintlock waved at her, and more than a few of them were freaked out by how quick Flintlock was, nearly keeping up with Asui's full hopping speed on foot.
"She looks like the Terminator!" Mina shouted with more glee than anyone should have when watching her classmate be chased down by a Pro-Hero…
"That's… okay, that's actually kind of terrifying. That has to be a speed quirk, right?" Rikido asked as he pointed at the screen.
"POV: You were caught stealing the cookies from the cookie jar." Denki couldn't help but say.
Ochako meanwhile was busy trying to keep Pony from hyperventilating
"Oh my God! So fast! I hope she teach to run fast…" Pony was furiously scribbling in her notebook, though Ochako couldn't read any of the notes, since they were in English.
Pony then turned to All Might, who was watching the screen intently with a large smile on his face, and asked in broken Japanese, "Does have guns?"
Ochako froze instantly. "I'm sorry. Does who have what now?"
All Might let out a boisterous laugh. "Hahaha! You'll just have to wait and see, Young Tsunotori!"
The man with the green bandana, Twice, was busy controlling the camera feed but Ochako thought she could hear him cackling at Pony's question…
"Oh hey! Look!" Ejirou pointed to the screen, "Asui made it to the sewers!"
Sure enough, when Ochako looked at the screen, she saw her froggy classmate had not only jumped into the sewer but threw the sewer grate at Flintlock, who effortlessly dodged by sliding under it and then following Tsuyu into the sewers.
"So cool!" Pony gushed.
"Asui! That Sewer grate is a key part of the city's infrastructure! How dare you throw it aside so meaninglessly!" Iida was in full rant mode already before Ejirou patted him on the back to calm him down.
"It's a fake city dude calm down, she needed a way to stall sensei after all! I thought It was manly!"
"And besides, Young Iida, your classmate used her environment to her advantage. She bought herself more time to escape into the sewer, even if it was only a second. Take note, time is everything, down to the smallest moment. It may not seem much, but in a real fight with a villain time can be both a great ally or a great enemy." All Might lectured. "Time could be the difference between reinforcements arriving to help you against a strong villain or in a negative scenario more time spent chasing the villain is less time helping civilians! So use your time wisely!" He then turned back to the viewing screens "Speaking of time, seven minutes left!" He announced through his microphone.
Tenya rubbed his chin, or at least where his chin was, he was still wearing the helmet. "I see. I suppose it wasn't costly property damage, so it would be forgiven if it meant combating a villain. I will commit that lesson to memory, Sensei!" He then bowed at a perfect ninety-degree angle, which probably was uncomfortable in that armor.
Hanata backed up, as his partner almost hit him as he bowed. "Whoa man, chill."
Ochako looked back at the screens, which now displayed Flintlock stalking through the sewer tunnels. The camera's swapped to night vision to compensate for the darkness.
The cloaked hero walked slowly through the tunnels, silent and listening for any noise that may give away her prey's location. As she came upon an intersection, she almost missed the yellow eyes in the dark.
Almost.
Her reaction speed kicked in, and she dodged backward just in time to avoid the clawed swipe that came her way. When she looked at her attacker, she couldn't help but smile at the huge mass of living shadow before her.
"So that's Dark Shadow… so cool!" She couldn't keep the fangirl in. A sentient quirk! How often do you see those?! Oh, she needs to remember to ask questions when- oh shit he's attacking again.
She dodged the fist that came crashing down on where she once was, Dark Shadow growling in aggression. She looked past the mass of darkness and saw Fumikage behind all of it.
"Apologies, Sensei. But you are in our domain now." He said before Dark Shadow roared and tried to squish her again. She dodged. He tried again, but she was too fast for it.
The sentient quirk growled before yelling, "Stop dodging, you damn roach!"
She let out a quick laugh at his demand. "Okay then. If you insist." She sidestepped another attack by spinning to her right. As she faced the dark duo once more, Dark Shadow's yellow eyes widened, as Flintlock now had something in her hand.
"Oh crap!" It quickly moved to shield Fumikage. "Look out!"
A loud bang and a brief flash of light flooded the sewers as Flintlock pulled the trigger on her revolver. The bullet was aimed for Fumikage, but Dark Shadow managed to use itself as a shield, the bullet bouncing off his black mass.
"Fumi!" It yelled as Flintlock started to fan the hammer of her gun, firing multiple gunshots. "She's packing heat!"
"You're damn right I am!" Her revolver ran out of bullets and she quickly reloaded, faster than Dark Shadow could respond, and opened fire again, forcing Dark Shadow to fall back and protect its partner, rather than try and assault the Gunslinger.
"Such a mad banquet of darkness!" Fumikage said over the sound of gunshots.
Neither of them noticed Tsuyu positioned herself above Flintlock, tongue at the ready…
"YES!" Pony loudly cheered. "YEAH BABY! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!"
"Oh, shit… that's a gun…" Denki helpfully pointed out, before going bug-eyed. "OH SHIT! THAT'S A GUN!"
Ochako shared their shock, eyes wide as she watched their teacher absolutely unload into Fumikage and Dark Shadow.
Guns weren't very common in Japan, to begin with. Civilians weren't even allowed to own handguns or rifles and Shotguns were highly regulated, only allowed to be owned by people with hunting licenses. Heros that used guns were rare, only people like Snipe whose quirk relied on projectile weapons, or Lady Nagant whose quirk WAS a gun were really seen using them and even then they were heavily regulated in how lethal they were allowed to be…
Hell, guns were so troublesome to get, even villains never really used them, opting to use their quirks instead if they were useful.
Ochako turned to Pony who was busy geeking out over their sensei, before deciding to just ask All Might instead.
Luckily for her, Momo had the same idea and asked for her and the class. "Where is she from? She's not Japanese… no Japanese hero would be that… um…"
"Enthused? Trigger happy? Gun nutty?" All Might guessed. "Why, she's from the U.S., my dear! She came here to Japan to teach at the request of Nezu himself!"
"USA! USA! USA!"The class heard Pony start chanting, only for Twice to start joining in…
Tenya began chopping his hands rapidly, and Ochako swore with his speed he was at risk of turning into a helicopter and flying away.
"This is highly unsafe. To just fire a gun in a training simulation! And she never warned us about her using them! Does she even have a license to use firearms?!"
"Calm down, Young Iida." All Might held up his hands. "If Flintlock wasn't permitted to use her weapons, then she wouldn't. She went through all the proper channels, and she knows what she's doing. I have full faith in her ability not to cross any lines."
Sero patted the shoulder of his partner. "Dude, I'm sure if something happened that wasn't supposed to, then All Might would do something about it. Have some faith."
Tenya seemed to think before bowing once more. "You're right. I apologize once again! I should trust my mentors to know what they are doing!"
The hail of gunfire kept coming, and Fumikage was thankful that the darkness of the sewers empowered Dark Shadow for once. Dark Shadow wasn't even affected by the bullets, they harmlessly impacted and dropped off its inky black body, but as long as Flintlock kept firing on them, Dark Shadow was stuck defending its wielder.
That's where Tsuyu came in.
From above she quickly sent out her tongue to try and snipe Flintlock in the back of the head. She silently cheered when it looked like her aim was true, only for Flintlock to dodge at the last moment and grab her tongue in her hand. "Kero?!" Tsuyu croaked in surprise as she tried to get free but her teacher's grip was too strong.
"Woah now, that's a bit too forward for a first date lil'lady" Flintlock admonished before swinging Tsuyu around using her own tongue and throwing her into Fumikage and Dark Shadow.
"Dark Shadow!" Fumikage shouted, causing the sentient quirk to move from its position in front of Fumikage and move to catch Tsuyu. This proved to be a mistake, Fumikage would find out. The moment his quirk moved away he saw his teacher move to pull something out from behind her back.
"DUCK SEASON! FIRE!"
A deafening bang echoed through the sewers as Dark Shadow retreated back inside its host, and Fumikage was thrown back by a rubber slug slamming into his sensor, destroying it and knocking him out cold.
"Young Tokoyami is eliminated!" All Might's voice rang through the facility "Three minutes remain!"
Tsuyu recovered just in time to reposition herself in the air and land on one of the sewer walls.
"Hm! Turkey and frogs for supper?! Don't mind if I do.~" She readied the lever-action shotgun in her hands and took aim at Tsuyu. She quickly dodged by jumping to the ground just as the slug hit the wall where she once was. She didn't stop there and wasted not a second as she immediately jumped towards Flintlock before she was ready to fire again.
Tsuyu angled herself to deliver a kick that was sure to be devastating to her teacher. Only Flintlock was faster and moved her torso just enough that the lick would just miss her. But the Gunslinger didn't just let the kick miss. Her left arm snapped up and grabbed hold of Tsuyu by the ankle mid-flight.
"Sorry, Asui." Was all she heard before being spun around and thrown into the wall again, her back taking the brunt of the impact. She fell to the ground, cracking in pain. She tried to get up, only to come face first with a knife that quickly had its point resting against her throat.
She looked forward into the mask of Flintlock, the woman saying nothing as she just held the knife there. After what felt like an eternity, but was really only a few seconds, she spoke.
"It's my win." She then brought her knife down in a quick slash, which missed Tsuyu but sliced her sensor in half, destroying it.
"Young Asui has been eliminated!" All Might announced. "Flintlock wins!"
Tsuyu ribbited in defeat. She was sure she had her. Ah well.
"Are you okay Asui?" Tsuyu looked up to see Flintlock still kneeling in front of her, concern was lacing in her voice. "I threw you pretty hard there. And I kinda manhandled your tongue."
Tsuyu simply blinked at her teacher for a moment before nodding. "I'll be fine. My tongue is pretty durable, and my back is a bit sore, but nothing serious."
"That's good." Flintlock stood and offered her hand, which Tsuyu accepted as she was lifted to her feet with ease. The hooded hero then looked over at the unconscious Fumikage. "Crap. I didn't mean to knock him out. Good thing I've got smelling salts."
She kneeled next to him and pulled the smelling salts from a pouch in her belt, before breaking them and waving it in front of Fumikage. Almost immediately, he shot up into a sitting position, eyes wide, and Dark Shadow shot out of his stomach and held its fists up like a boxer.
"We're up! We're up! Where is she?! Let me at her! Let me at her!"
"Guys," Tsuyu spoke up, "the match is over, we lost."
"... DAMNIT!" Dark Shadow yelled as Fumikage just sighed in defeat.
"It's alright," Flintlock helped Fumikage to his feet. "You guys did your best. Let's get back to the observation room for the post-game review."
She received a nod from all three, before leading them back to the class.
As they exited the sewers, only Flintlock would know about the group of similar-looking men who worked to reset everything, including cleaning up the rubber bullets.
After the three had arrived in the observation room, All Might clapped his hands together.
"Alright!" All Might addressed the class. "Let's start off with what the team did right. Any volunteers to start?"
Surprisingly Katsuki was one of the first people to respond. "Frogger and Feathers immediately played to their strengths and tried to lead Gun Nut to an area they knew would give them the biggest advantage in the fight."
Everyone looked at Katsuki in surprise, save for Flintlock, but nobody could really see her face to begin with. That was the nicest thing he'd ever said about anyone in the class.
He then growled at them all staring, "What? They told us to pay attention. If you extras were too busy with the guns, then that's your problem, not mine. Pay attention!"
'There he is.' They all thought at once.
All Might pushed forward like nothing was wrong, his grin never wavering "Right you are! Young Bakugou!" his grin got even bigger if that were possible as he continued, "Always try and play to your strengths! If you are small and fast then use that to your advantage! Close quarters or areas with a lot of cover are where you'll thrive! If your quirk requires water to function, or benefits from it, push the villain to a body or source of water!"
"Exactly," Flintlock held up a finger. "Now, someone else. What could they have done better?"
Momo was quick to raise her hand, and once she gained Flintlock's permission, began speaking. "While their strategy to lure you into an area where they had the advantage was good, their execution is where they messed up. Dark Shadow can clearly move around on his own within a range of Tokoyami, but their mistake was not using that. Tokoyami revealed himself in the open to you, and when you pulled the gun out, that forced Dark Shadow to act as cover for him. What he should have done was use somewhere cover and not put himself at risk of being shot, while Dark Shadow went on the offensive."
Flintlock hummed. "Not bad. You're right, if Tokoyami had used cover or stayed hidden, then Dark Shadow wouldn't have had to waste time and resources protecting him. They very well could have actually beaten me." Fumikage lowered his head. "But hey, now you know, right?"
"Indeed," he nodded, "I'll do better in the future, I will not be a burden for my eternal companion."
"Now, what about Asui?" Flintlock prompted Momo to continue.
"She didn't go for the gun."
"Kero?" Tsuyu tilted her head in confusion.
"Flintlock-Sensei's primarily used her firearms that match. Clearly, she has an affinity with them. The smart move would have been to try and disarm her first of her ranged weapons, it would have given Dark Shadow the opportunity to attack instead of having to protect Tokoyami. Instead, Asui went for a sneak attack and aimed for the head, but Flintlock-Sensei's speed quirk allowed her to react faster than-"
"Wait wait wait!" Flintlock waved her hands in front of herself. "My what?"
"Your… speed quirk, Sensei…" Momo repeated, some of the confidence in her voice leaking away at the interruption. Over by the monitors, Twice let out a quiet snort.
"Oh boy…" All Might quietly muttered putting a hand up to his mouth to disguise a chuckle for a cough. Everyone in the room was now thoroughly confused by their teachers' reactions.
"Did I say something bad?" Momo slightly shrunk in on herself.
"No, no, nothing you said was bad." The Gunslinger was quick to reassure her student. She then placed her hands on her hips, "Tell me, how did you come to the conclusion I had a speed quirk?"
"Well… your speed when pursuing Asui was fast. Fast enough to keep up with massive leaps and bounds. That's not to mention how quickly you reacted and dodged Dark Shadow's strikes, your reload speed when reloading your guns, and the reaction speed to Asui's sneak attack. With all that in mind, it's easy to come to the conclusion that a speed quirk was at play." Momo explained, Flintlock nodding along the whole time.
"A reasonable assessment. You're right, it is easy to come to that conclusion. But…" She chuckled, "I don't actually have a speed quirk. Everything you saw was years of hard work and training to allow my body to do the things you saw."
Momo was shocked. She could have sworn she pinned it down to some sort of speed quirk.
She was about to ask the question on everyone else's mind when Tenya, in a rare break of protocol for the young man, blurted out in surprise. "Well, what quirk did you use?"
Flintlock didn't seem to mind the outburst and placed a hand on her hip while leaning forward. "Who said anything about me using a quirk? In fact, I'll let you all in on a little secret." She held up a hand near where the class thought her mouth would be and responded like she was telling some big government conspiracy. "I don't have a quirk."
The reaction around the room was stunning. Most of the class just stared at their teacher, in various states of shock. Pony pumped her fist and shouted "That just makes her even cooler!" in English.
Ejirou did something similar, quickly wiping his eyes while calling their teacher "SO MANLY!"
All Might sighed and just shook his head in exasperation while Twice cackled like a mad man from his chair.
The most telling response WOULD have been Katsuki's, if anyone had bothered to stop staring at their teacher long enough to take note of it. He was staring at her wide-eyed, almost not believing what she said to be true. His hands tightened around the notebook in his hands to the point where he was almost crushing it.
Before anyone could respond or say anything else, Flintlock had made her way back out to the field, while All Might once more pulled a number out of his Bingo Machine. He showed the class the letter with a beaming grin. "Will Team B report to the field!"
There was no talking between the two members of team B for the entire five-minute wait time. Well, there was, but it was only for Shouto to order, "When the buzzer sounds, tell me where she is."
Mezo simply looked at his teammate, before asking, "Shouldn't we try and make a plan?"
"The plan is for you to tell me where she is, and I'll freeze her. No need to complicate things." Shouto told him coldly.
"... Alright then." Mezo knew they needed an actual plan. But it seemed that Shouto wasn't having any of it and wouldn't listen. He'll just have to hope that the scarred man knew what he was doing.
Immediately when the buzzer went off and All Might announced the start of the match, Shouto expectantly looked to Mezo for info on Flintlock's location. Using his quirk and turning a few of his arms into ears, he listened for any sign of their gun-wielding teacher.
Imagine his surprise when he heard rhythmic humming coming from a few blocks over. The humming wasn't moving at all, staying in one place. Which meant Flintlock wasn't moving either.
"She's… humming…" Mezo reported. His ears also picked up something else. More footsteps in the buildings and alleyways, but they weren't Flintlock's. Who…
"Where?" Shouto crouched to the ground, placing his hand on the street as ice began to gather around his right side.
"Todoroki, I'm almost certain she's trying to draw us in. We should go and assess the-"
"No need. Just tell me where she is. I'll handle the rest." Shouto cut him off.
Mezo sighed behind his mask. "Fine. She's…"
The class watched as Shouto unleashed a massive wave of ice that seemed to zero in on where Flintlock was. The sheer scale of and range of the attack left many with their jaws on the floor. The cold was so pervasive that it even affected everyone in the observation room.
"Holy shit, that's nuts." Kyouka breathed out, her breath coming out as light mist.
"I can feel the cold from here! What the hell, man!" Minoru shook in place as he rubbed his arms in a desperate attempt to warm up.
"What are the chances Flintlock-Sensei dodged that?" Mina asked.
"I can show you! Don't hold your breath!" Twice then switched the monitors to show an ice-covered street. In the center was Flintlock, frozen all the way up to the neck. Shouto had made his way over and had soon appeared on the same street, casually walking up to the frozen hero.
"He got her!" Denki yelled.
All Might hummed. "Yes, the attack landed, but Young Todoroki is being too relaxed about this."
"What do you mean All Might-Sensei?" Ochako asked. "Flintlock-Sensei is completely trapped in ice. She can't do anything."
"Watch and you'll see what I'm talking about."
Everyone returned their full attention to the screen, waiting to see how this would end.
As Shouto approached the ice-bound hero, he knew it wouldn't have taken much. Flintlock didn't have anything that could help her break herself out of his ice if he froze every part of her up to her neck. Though he should hurry and end this so he can let her out. He doesn't want to give her hypothermia, or worse, Frostbite.
"You took your sweet time getting here." Flintlock said, her voice steady despite her body being frozen. "What? Is all that ice on your left side there slowing you down?"
Shouto said nothing as he continued walking.
"Let me guess. You're in no hurry because I can't move. Victory is secured! Am I right?"
"I'll take that sensor from you, and then I'll let you out." Shouto continued his approach.
"Nah! No thanks. I'll let myself out." Flintlock casually said.
Shouto paused, raising an eyebrow. "What are you talking about? You can't-"
A cracking noise cut him off, and he looked at the source. The ice on the left side of Flintlock's body began to crack and break before her arm shot out of the ice, holding the revolver she used in the last match.
She first aimed it at Shouto, and he reacted by putting a wall of ice in front of him as cover. But instead of firing, Flintlock then aimed the gun at her own body, and with a few well-placed shots, weakened the ice enough to where she easily escaped her cold prison.
"Gotta say, impressive control. I can't imagine how much time you put into perfecting that." She casually bantered as she reloaded her gun. "But you made the mistake of thinking I was done for. And now, Todoroki…"
Shouto peeked behind his cover, readying up another attack. But, his eyes widened at the red button in her hand.
"... you face the consequences." She pushed the button.
And everything exploded in fire.
Shouto was knocked onto his back by the first blast near him, and then another explosion went off. Thinking quickly, he used his ice to create a dome around himself, thick enough that the following explosions wouldn't harm him.
Eventually, Shouto felt the explosions stop and reluctantly used his left side to burn himself a way out of the ice dome. When he walked onto the street, everything was on fire, his opponent nowhere in sight. He started using ice to make himself out of the street that had started to resemble Hell on Earth.
Eventually, he managed to make it out, ending up on one of the streets leading to the carnage he was just involved in.
"When did she have time to rig the place to explode…?" He questioned out loud. Suddenly he heard the announcement system crackle to life.
"Young Shouji has been eliminated! Five minutes left!" All Might announced.
"What?" Shouto immediately started to make his way over to where he left Mezo. It was a distraction. She went off and took out his partner while he was busy with the explosions. She wanted to get caught. Wanted Shouto to think he had won, only to pull that trick last minute.
He rounded the corner to where he and Mezo had been when the round started and saw Mezo laying in the middle of the street, hand over his chest as he hissed in pain. "Shouji, what happened?"
"Dead men don't talk, Todoroki." Flintlock's voice echoed from the alleyway nearby. Shouto wasted no time unleashing a wave of ice that was sure to imprison Flintlock in the alleyway, effectively trapping her. He breathed heavily as he felt his arm going numb from the cold, the fires from the explosions earlier only warmed him up a bit, but not enough to make much of a difference.
Click
Shouto froze as he heard the clicking noise coming from his left. He turned his eyes and saw Flintlock standing there with a musket pointed right at him.
"Shh…~" She whispered, before pulling the trigger.
"Okay! Same as last time. Who wants to go first?"
The whole class stood in the observation room. Standing near All Might and Flintlock, Shouto and Mezo were holding ice packs over where their now destroyed sensors once were.
It was Kyouka who volunteered first. "They did well with recon. Shouji figured out where Flintlock-Sensei was, and Todoroki froze her without putting his teammate in danger. They basically improved on what the last team should have done when fighting her.
"Correct! Now, what went wrong?"
"They separated?" Hanata guessed.
"That's part of it. As it allowed me to pick off Shouji while Todorokiwas busy. But that's not all." Flintlock began explaining. "See, while yes, Todoroki did trap me, he automatically assumed I was unable to do anything. As you all saw, that was far from the case. Additionally, if they took the time to scout a bit more, they would have seen me holding the detonator in my right hand. They would have then known that there might have been bombs, and thus known to take the detonator from me first once I was immobilized. Again, make sure you have properly disarmed the villain once you've subdued them before anything else."
All Might nodded "Well said Young Flintlock! Does anyone have anything else to add?" Once he made sure the class didn't have anything else to say, he once again used his Bingo Machine to select the next team.
"Next up to the plate! TEAM C!"
Flintlock then began to walk to the door. "Alright, I'm off to get ready for the next match."
"Wait, but Sensei!" Tenya called out. "The street we were using is currently on fire! You want the next team to fight in that?"
Flintlock tilted her head. "Huh? Fire? Oh! The fire is out already. Twice, show them."
Everyone looked to the monitors to see that the street had been cleansed of all fires, the only evidence being scorch marks here and there.
"Wha- but how?!" Someone yelled.
"We have very good tech ninjas. Ain't that right Twice?!" The man gave her a proud thumbs-up, before going back to messing with the monitors. "Anyways, I'm off!"
"Wait, where did she even get that Musket at the end? Those things are ancient!" Ochako questioned. "And where is she even keeping all those guns hidden?"
Everyone was so busy thinking of Ochako's question that they didn't notice the screens showing Twice running down the street into a building, with a wheelbarrow full of guns…
AN: Professor Donger: Another chapter down! I am once more astounded by the support we've received while writing this story and I can't wait to see how you all react to what else we have planned for it. In response to some of the comments on AO3 asking who we're going to ship Izumi with, I can't say without ruining the story but we hope you all aren't disappointed with who we chose.
Damian02: I blame The Professor for suggesting such a good idea for the pairing when we were talking about it. Blame him.
I'm just kidding. But seriously, thank you to everyone who has given us and this AU of ours the time of day. It's crazy!
Next time: Momo has a standoff, Pony shows her American spirit, and Twice becomes a tumbleweed.
Until next time! Have a great rest of your day/night!
