Minoru stared down at his food, and he felt a pressure, unlike anything he's ever felt before. He was shaking, and he held his chopsticks but didn't take a single bite of his food.

"Hey," Minoru jumped when Flintlock spoke, "You know if you don't eat, your food will get cold." She reminded him, calmly taking a bite out of her own rice, her posture completely relaxed.

Minoru looked at his food, then to her, then back to his food, and then he blurted out, "I don't get it."

Flintlock paused midway through, taking her next bite. "Hm?"

'Why did I say anything?!' Minoru mentally screamed at himself.

"Explain. What don't you get?" She continued to eat.

He thought through his next words, or at least tried to. The stress of the situation, and the fear of what may happen, made it hard to put his thoughts into words, but he tried his best.

"I… I'm in trouble, aren't I?" He asked. "You're mad at me for doing what I did in the locker rooms. So, why?"

Flintlock hummed. "Elaborate." She simply replied, munching on an octopus hotdog.

"Why am I not being punished?!" He yelled out, however, it was involuntary. "Aren't you going to, I-I don't know, yell at me, expel me, o-or something?!"

"Expulsion?" Flintlock looked confused. "Seems a bit extreme. I mean, all you did was almost peep on the girls in the locker room." She paused mid-bite. "Hell, you didn't even succeed."

'... Wait, what?' Minoru was now very confused.

"I mean, no, you definitely should not have even tried what you did, but I don't think it exactly warrants something so extreme. After all, it's not like you were the one who made the peephole. If you had, then we'd be having a very different conversation. And as for your punishment, this is your punishment." Flintlock explained.

Minoru looked around the otherwise empty classroom, kinda expecting something to happen, but nothing did. "So… My punishment is lunch?"

"Lunch with me." She added. "And you're going to explain to me why you attempted to peep on the girls."

"Umm… well." He nervously fiddled with his chopsticks. "I well… girls are just hot, you know?"

"Oh, can't argue with that." Flintlock shook her head with a smile as she chuckled. "But that doesn't mean you can just peep on them while they are changing. It's disrespectful to their privacy and makes them out to be nothing but objects for you to ogle and paints you as a creep."

"Rather be a creep than a nobody." He mumbled, as he finally took a bite of his own food.

Flintlock had heard him though and raised an eyebrow at him. "What do you mean by that?"

Minoru flinched, not expecting to have been heard. "I… I-It's nothing."

"Mineta," she sternly told him, "This is your punishment. Just because we're having a relatively civil lunch doesn't mean you can get out of answering me."

Minoru was silent as he continued to nervously eat his food. He knew the reasoning behind it was stupid and embarrassing. He didn't want to admit it to his teacher. But it was the price he had to pay; he supposed.

"Attention." He whispered.

Flintlock furrowed her eyebrows. "Attention?"

"Nobody notices you when you're my height!" He dramatically yelled. "They write you off as not even worth acknowledging! They always pay attention to the taller, more cool, and popular people. I just wanted a bit of that attention, okay?!"

Flintlock had a neutral expression on her face as she nodded. "Pretty piss poor way to go about it though, if you ask me." She commented.

"Huh?" He's getting more confused by the minute. Did Flintlock… understand him?

"I mean, if you want attention, I guess annoying people is one way to go about getting it." Flintlock casually said. "But there are much better ways to do it, you know? So why perv on girls?"

"What? I thought girls enjoyed getting attention." He said, confusion clear on his face. "That they'll appreciate you for it."

Flintlock shrugged. "Most do, I guess, but not the kind of attention you were giving them."

Minoru once again yelled, "Wait, there are different ways to show a girl that you're interested?!"

To this, Flintlock nods. "Maybe not different kinds, but there are definitely different ways of going about it. The way you do it, though, paints you as a shameless pervert, and no one likes those."

Minoru took one of his orbs off of his head and started squeezing it like a stress ball. "This is way more complicated than how my dad told me."

"Your dad?" She curiously asked.

"Yeah, he said it worked on mom all the time when they were young. So I thought I should try it, and eventually it would work." He explained.

Flintlock's lips pressed into a thin line as she hums and nods her head. "Yeah, take it from me, and don't do that. What your parents do is a 'them thing'. It won't work on anyone and everyone. If you want to know what a girl likes, you need to know them first. You can't go in guns blazing and expect to succeed." Flintlock sighs. "But let's back up before we get sidetracked. You said you do it because you want to be noticed. Well, there's a better way of being noticed, Mineta."

"There is?" He leaned forward.

"Yep," Flintlock nodded. "And not just noticed, but seen in a more positive light as well. Take me, for example," she gestured to herself. "I'm quirkless, and I don't think I need to say how I was treated growing up. All I had was my family, while everyone always wrote me off as useless because I couldn't shoot fire or lift stuff with my mind. But now I'm recognized and respected, and I earned that through hard work, dedication, and just being the best I can be. Now people other than just my family appreciate me."

She put down her chopsticks and smiled at Minoru. "It could work for you, too. You want the appreciation and attention of others, right?" At his nod, she continued. "Then be the best you can be. Be the best hero, be the one who people can look at and say 'that's a good guy right there. It will feel so much better than gaining attention through forcing people to acknowledge you, believe me."

Minoru pondered over her words, making sure he understood them correctly. "So… focus on being a great hero, and people will like me better?" Flintlock nods in confirmation, and Minoru sighs. "That'll be really hard."

"Oh definitely, but I believe you can do it. Don't think I didn't notice today when you were making split-second calculations and adjustments to your throws and trajectory during our match." Flintlock smiled. "It takes a sharp mind to think on the fly like that. So believe me when I say that you can do it, you just need to put in the effort. Understand?"

Minoru nodded in understanding as he took it all in. "Yes Ma'am, Sensei."

"Good, and don't let me hear that you tried to pull something like what you did today again. Now, hurry and eat before you have to go to your next class." And with that, the two of them sat in silence as they finished eating.

Well, except for one last question.

"So just to be clear, don't do what my dad says to do?"

"No, never."

"But what if-"

"Never. Unless the girl explicitly tells you she's okay with it. First lesson, Mineta: Consent is important."

Izumi couldn't help but think, 'Wow, his parents are degenerates. And that's coming from me, of all people.'

It was later in the day by now, and Izumi had by then changed back into her old hero outfit. However, she had to switch back to her Mark 2 arm, since her Mark 1 was not combat-ready. She was in the teacher's lounge with Jin sleeping on the couch, and Toshinori nearby in his small form, as she was doing basic movement exercises with her arm to make sure it worked properly.

"Well, I think today has been going quite well. Wouldn't you agree, Young Midoriya?" Toshinori asked, adjusting his reading glasses as he refreshed himself with the quirks of Class 1-B before their Heroics lessons began.

Izumi finished the last of her movement exercises, wiggling all five fingers on her hand rapidly, before smiling. "Yeah, definitely can't say it's been boring. Though now I have to come up with an excuse to explain why the Mark 1 is busted."

Jin, who apparently wasn't asleep, piped in. "Just blame it on someone else. It's technically the truth. Blame Himiko!"

Izumi gave him a betrayed look. "You're awake! You liar! You could have been helping with looking over the recordings and taking notes!"

"Sorry, Big Sis. I'm a lazy ass and I don't give a fuck."

Izumi just sighs. "Whatever. And I'm not blaming Himiko for it. As much as the Gremlin likes to mess and tinker with my less dangerous and disposable gadgets, she knows better than to touch my prosthetics."

Toshinori hummed as he switched files. "Himiko sounds like quite the handful."

"Eh, not really. She's energetic, but ultimately a good girl." Izumi tells him with a shrug. "Dad used to let her tag along with him to work. Sometimes she'd come home with a piece of tech he'd let her keep. Said messing with it helped keep her mind and hands busy. The alternative was letting her mess with knives, and I don't think I need to explain why that was a big no at the time."

"And yet she messed with knives anyway," Jin admitted. "It's scary how good she is with them. That girl is crazy!"

"She only got into the knife drawer because you let her." Izumi deadpanned.

"You can't prove that. Innocent 'till proven guilty!"

"I feel like I'm… missing some context here, Young Midoriyas." Toshinori scratched his cheek in confusion.

"That's the Midoriyas for you, Uncle Might." Izumi hummed thoughtfully as she looked over a file of one of the 1-B students. Some sort of mind control. Interesting.

"No, no, I mean… What's this about Himiko and knives?"

"Oh, well, her quirk alters her diet and affects her mentality a little bit, so she needs to consume blood, otherwise her cravings will make her… unstable. Before she came into our lives, she had to find a way to satisfy the cravings. Otherwise, she'd hurt someone. She…" Izumi winces, "She resorted to non-Human blood. And to do that she needed to…" She made a gesture with her hands that prompted Toshinori to put the pieces together without further details, "Yeah."

Toshinori hums. "I see. So she had experience with knives before she met you?"

"Basically. It was surprising for an eight-year-old to be so skilled with them. I honestly felt like I was going to have a heart attack when I came home from school one day, only to find her twirling one of my butterfly knives like a pro."

"Why did you have a butterfly knife?" Toshinori asked, raising an eyebrow

"Uncle Might… are you seriously asking why I own a butterfly knife?" Izumi gestured to herself.

"Fair point."

"Yeah, what you should ask is why I own a Fat Man Nuke launcher."

The moment those words left Izumi's mouth, Toshinori coughed up his other lung. "You own a what?!"

Jin cackled and started singing, "I don't want to set the world on fire!"

"Just the launcher!" Izumi held up her hands in surrender. "The government wouldn't let me own a mini-nuke…even when I made valid arguments about Kaiju-sized villains…"

"Young Midoriya," Toshinori held a calming hand over his heart, "You really are something, aren't you?"

"All part of my charm, Uncle Might." Izumi dramatically flipped her hair over her shoulder before continuing to look over the student files. "Hm, speaking of Himiko, I wonder how she's doing on her first day of public school."

"Public school?" Toshinori raises an eyebrow. "Was she in private school before?"

"More like online classes." She clarified. "After everything she'd been through before coming into our family, she wasn't entirely comfortable being around people she didn't know, so for a while, she did school online. Video calls and stuff like that. This is gonna be her first time going to school in person."

"Ah, then I hope she has a great first day." Toshinori gives Izumi one of his signature smiles and a thumbs up, but it doesn't seem to mollify the young heroine as much as it should.

Izumi, however, still smiles back in appreciation for his words, then looks out the window, a worried expression on her face.

"Yeah… I hope so too."

Earlier that day

Himiko was panicking.

Not even five minutes after leaving Izumi at the entrance of the school, she was already freaking out. A million thoughts ran through her head at a mile a minute, and her nerves had her jumping whenever someone so much as came an inch within her personal bubble. It didn't help that the halls were packed with students trying to get to their classes, so someone was stepping into her personal bubble every second.

She was so unused to this. It had been years since she had walked the halls of a public school, and she was no longer used to the massive number of people around her at once. Her mind constantly told her that any of them could be her next tormentor. None of these people were her family, and none of these people were her friends. She didn't trust any of them. She couldn't after everything she'd been through. Izumi, Jin, Dad, and even Mom. They had earned her trust and showed her kindness. These people here with her, though, have yet to earn that trust, so until then she'd keep her guard up.

It didn't help much, though, the smell. The crimson liquid that flowed through their veins. The sweet, delicious blood was all around her. Just one bite awa-

'NO! Stop it, Himiko!' She shook her head, before quickly digging into her bag and pulling out one of her blood drinks, disguised as a simple juice box. She quickly downed the whole thing in one massive inhale and sighed in relief when the urges subsided.

"It's going to be a long day." She said to herself. She glanced at her wrist at the digital watch her dad had given her and made sure to set a reminder to drink again in two hours. She took some comfort in knowing that she had permission to drink her blood drinks in class, so long as it wasn't causing a disruption in class.

With her urges satiated temporarily, Himiko took a deep breath and took a moment to think about her big sister. She thought about how brave and confident Izumi always was, how she wouldn't let something like first-day jitters get the best of her. Thinking of her big sister filled Himiko with the determination to make the best of this day, to not let anything get her down. And with this newfound strength with her, she made her way to her homeroom class, feeling better than she had a minute ago, with more pep in her step.

Stepping into the classroom, it surprised her to see just how many people eagerly sat in their seats waiting for class to begin. Most of them had extensive mutations as well, which was another surprise for the twelve-year-old vampire. From what she could remember of her time in the Japanese school system (which admittedly wasn't much, she was eight when she… left after all); they didn't treat most non-emitter quirks very well. Though, Himiko knew they weren't treated as poorly as, say, a quirkless person, there was still discrimination against the more extreme mutant quirks. So seeing so many mutation quirk users eagerly awaiting class to start was jarring for Himiko.

Shrugging the surprise off, Himiko entered the classroom, and made her way to the back, looking for a seat with few to no people behind her. It had a little to do with her nerves about being in a new environment, but it was also a strategic choice, at least in her head, to sit in the back. Being in the back meant less of a chance that someone nosey would notice her drinking her blood should she have to during class.

As luck would have it, the window seat in the back left corner was open. A bit of a cliché spot to sit, but Himiko didn't care. She sat down silently and watched as her classmates conversed with one another. Oddly enough, none of them seemed to have noticed her. Himiko was honestly a little surprised. She would have thought that being the only person standing and walking around, not to mention being a new face, would have drawn someone's attention. She shrugged it off and continued to observe.

After a few minutes of sitting silently, Himiko began to get a little impatient, and so decided the best course of action was to socialize, or at least try to. She looked to her right and saw a white-haired girl who had six arms, eight eyes, and light blue skin. Himiko wondered if she had a spider mutation of some kind. She was about to introduce herself when the last bell rang and the teacher walked into the classroom.

The man was enormous, about eight feet tall, and when he sat behind his desk, he still dwarfed over it easily. His height wasn't the only thing notable about him, though. He looked very… elephant-like, for lack of a better term. His ears were big flappy looking things, and he had gray skin with no hair to speak of besides a small thin tuft of hair on his head, he still had hands with fingers and such but his most striking feature was his Tusks that jutted out of his mouth, as well as his very mobile, prehensile trunk that replaced his nose and part of his upper lip.

"Good morning class!" the elephant man spoke, his voice a deep timber that was still clear despite the tusks jutting out of his mouth.

"Good morning Mister Fiji!" the class, sans Himiko, rang out in unison. It was obvious her fellow students absolutely adored this teacher, and Himiko felt herself relax a little more.

"So, before we get started, I'd like to address the elephant in the room… well, the metaphorical elephant." He joked, to the amusement of the students. "We have a new student joining us for the school year." He looked down (Himiko still couldn't wrap her head around how tall he was!) at the class, and his eyes landed on Himiko. She could tell he was smiling behind his trunk as he continued. "It seems she's already found herself a seat. Class, I'd like to introduce you to Himiko Midoriya." He gestured towards her corner.

The spider girl that was sitting next to Himiko seemed confused at first and looked around her before she eventually noticed Himiko, at which point she jumped in surprise.

"What the?!" she exclaimed. "When did you get there?!"

Himiko was confused. "Umm… I've been here… for a while now, actually." She shrunk down on herself a bit as people around the class started whispering to one another.

"I didn't see her walk in."

"Me neither. How did she get there?"

"I-I… I walked?" Himiko was getting antsier by the second. She figured most of the class was too busy socializing to notice her when she walked in, but she didn't expect her entrance to go unnoticed by everyone!

The spider girl, who Himiko pegged as someone who was easily and constantly excited, leaned over to her, clutching onto her seat with two of her hands while the others waved around excitedly. "No way you just walked in! I would have noticed!" She brought one of her six arms up to her face and waved her hand in front of her eyes. "I have eight eyes! Do you have a teleportation quirk?! Oh, or one that turns you invisible?!"

"Kumo, you're scaring her." A boy who sat in front of the now-named Kumo calmly turned around. "Can't you see she's nervous?"

Kumo blinked owlishly at the boy before looking back at Himiko and noticing her stiffening posture. She immediately backed up into her seat properly.

"Oops! Sorry, I get a little excited." She apologized with an embarrassed smile, showing off two long and sharp fangs.

"I-It's fine." Himiko waved her off.

"Takeuchi," Mister Fiji grabbed their attention, "You can socialize with Midoriya during your own time if she's up to it. I love the enthusiasm, but let's stay on track, yes?"

"Yes, Mister Fiji." Kumo turned back towards the front of the class and Mister Fiji nodded in appreciation and continued.

"Why don't you stand up and introduce yourself to the class, Miss Midoriya?" Himiko nervously shuffled in her seat and Mister Fiji chuckled. "Nothing fancy, just your name, likes, dislikes, and basics about your quirk will be needed."

Himiko flinched at that last suggestion, which Mister Fiji obviously noticed as he adjusted his spectacles with his free hand and smiled softly at her "Look around you Miss Midoriya, no one will judge you for your quirk I assure you, just be confident and I know you'll do well."

Himiko stood up, inhaled to calm herself down, and tried to motivate herself to just do it, to just go all out and explain what her quirk did and how it worked. She just had to be brave like Izumi!

Sadly, Izumi was on a unique brand of Insane bravery, a type of insane bravery that Himiko could never emulate. So instead, she chickened out. "M… my name is Himiko Midoriya. I like my big brother's cooking, video games, and talking to my dad about support equipment… My dislikes are mean people and spoons."

"Spoons?" someone asked and Himiko couldn't help herself as she gave a passionate response.

"They're useless!"

The class was at a loss as to a response to that proclamation, but Mister Fiji just took it in stride with a clap of his hands and a lighthearted chuckle. "Excellent! I'm partial to Sporks myself! What about your quirk, dear? I was told it's a form of shape-shifting?" He had a twinkle in his eye that Himiko couldn't place like he knew what her quirk was but wanted her to admit it herself. Was this a trick?

Thinking it was, she just shrugged. "I can umm… transform into people as long as I've met certain… requirements." Himiko wished she had a knife to twirl between her fingers… or anything to keep her hands busy. She was messing up her super cute skirt! "I'd rather not talk about those requirements if that's okay?" She didn't close her eyes in fright, so that was a plus and she spoke the request with some confidence. So another plus!

If Mister Fiji was disappointed he didn't let it show, he merely nodded and kept smiling at her, which was strange but not unwelcome. "That's perfectly fine, but know that you are safe here Miss Midoriya, and feel free to tell anyone in class more about your quirk at your own pace." The class nodded along with him as if they had heard him say that to some or all of them at some point during their schooling careers. His jovial look turned stern as he thrust his trunk towards her, making her jump. "And know that if anyone acts out against you because of your quirk, you have people to turn to for such things."

Himiko didn't sense any ill intent or anything hidden coming from Mister Fiji. He seemed completely genuine about what he told her. She smiled, feeling better and confident enough to do what she did next.

"I can… I can show off the transformation part if that's okay?" She nervously asked.

"By all means, if you feel comfortable enough, I'll allow it. ," Fiji gestured for her to proceed.

Himiko nodded, before taking a deep breath and thinking about who she was transforming into. She already made her decision. She just needed the courage to do it.

Right before the class's eyes, she transformed, growing nearly eight inches in height, her blonde straight hair, which was previously in a bun, replaced with curly green hair. Yellow cat-like eyes shifted into green orbs, and freckles adorned her cheeks. But what really caught everyone's attention was the outfit.

Himiko looked down at herself… well, at the body of her big sister, who she was currently transformed as. She was wearing Izumi's old hero costume, the one her sister told her she was going to wear today for the first day of Heroics class.

"Huh," Himiko said in Izumi's voice, "She must have already changed. Dang, she's fast." She looked up at the shell-shocked faces of her classmates, and felt a surge of confidence flow through her, as she didn't feel like…. well, herself. At that moment, she felt like her big sister. Strong, brave, heroic.

There was a look of recognition on Mister Fiji's face, though she barely had time to notice that before the class exploded.

Metaphorically, of course.

"What?!"

"That's so cool!"

"She's a completely different person!"

"She looks badass!"

"Language!"

"She looks like a pro-hero, or a video game character, even!"

A moment ago, Himiko would have felt embarrassed and nervous, but not right now. At that moment, she was Izumi, and Izumi was never nervous.

Kumo's eight eyes impossibly wide. "That's amazing! Who is that?! Is that a hero?! What's her name?! Tell meeee!" She rocked back and forth in her chair, and Himiko laughed, Kumo's excitement being infectious.

"This," Himiko gestured to herself, "is my big sister, Izumi Midoriya. She's a pro-hero from the U.S. named Flintlock." She proudly stated, much to the shock and awe of her classmates.

"Ah, a younger sibling to a hero." Mister Fiji nodded in approval. "You must be proud of her. Now, Miss Midoriya, if you wouldn't mind changing back so we can get class started."

Himiko was about to drop the transformation when suddenly she remembered a tinsy tiny small little detail.

'FUCK! I'M NAKED UNDER HERE!'

She forgot turning into someone larger than she can rip her clothes.

"Miss Midoriya?" Mister Fiji raised an eyebrow. "Is there a problem?"

To Himiko's credit, she only blushed a little bit. She had to think of something, and quick. She and Izumi had the foresight to pack her a spare set of clothes in her school bag, just in case. Now she just needed an excuse to go to the restroom and change.

"Uhm… can I go to the restroom? Detransforming is uh… kinda messy?" She lied. The goo that secretes off her from dropping a transformation evaporates quickly, but it was a good enough excuse to use.

"Ah, I see." Fiji nodded, seeming to buy it. "Do hurry, please."

"Oh! Oh! I can take her!" Kumo raised all three of her right hands into the air. Fiji's answer was a simple gesture showing his approval. "Come on Midoriya, this way!"

Himiko grabbed her schoolbag and followed her classmate to the restroom. Once inside, she immediately headed for a stall and locked the door behind her. She then dropped the transformation, her big sister's form melting to reveal the now naked Himiko underneath. She sighed in relief, as now she can-

"Hey, I heard some wet splats. Was that you- oh… you're naked…"

Himiko froze as still as a statue, then looked up towards the ceiling, only to see Kumo crawling on it.

"..."

"..."

"... WHY ARE YOU UP THERE?!"

"WHY ARE YOU NAKED?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST TURNING BACK TO NORMAL!"

"YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO KNOW!"

"MAYBE TELL ME NOT TO LOOK THEN! I DIDN'T KNOW BETTER!"

"WHO HANGS FROM THE CEILING IN A SCHOOL BATHROOM?!"

"I DO!"

"WELL STOP!"

"FINE!" Kumo then promptly dropped from the ceiling, back on the outside of the stall.

Himiko wanted to die. Her classmate just saw her completely naked. Now she's going to tell people the wrong idea or something, and everyone will think she's some weirdo!

"So… why are you naked?" She heard Kumo ask again.

She figured she may as well say the truth. "Transforming into someone bigger than me rips my clothes."

"Oh, that makes sense. Do you need a spare?" Kumo offered, much to Himiko's surprise. "I can run to the office and let them know you need a uniform."

"U-Umm, no. I have a spare." Himiko told her as she pulled a spare set of clothes out of her pack and started to put them on.

"Okay, that's good. I can't think of a lie to save my life, so I wouldn't be able to give the office an excuse why you would need a spare set of clothes on your first day." Kumo chuckled and scratched her cheek with a finger. She was acting incredibly friendly, which was throwing Himiko for a loop.

"Are… are you going to t-tell people?" Himiko fearfully asked.

Kumo just tilted her head in confusion. "Tell them what?"

"About the whole… you know… nudity thing?"

"No." Kumo immediately answered.

"... No?" Himiko repeated In disbelief.

"Why would I? This seems like something you're super embarrassed about. I'm not gonna go blab my mouth to everyone about it. What kind of friend would I be if I did?" Kumo told her.

Himiko finished buttoning up her shirt, pausing at what she had heard.

"... Friend?"

"Yeah!" Kumo cheerily exclaimed.

Himiko unlocked and opened the stall, looking Kumo in her eight eyes. "You're… my friend? Just like that?"

"Mhm!" The spider girl proudly nodded. Himiko couldn't believe she made a friend that easily, without even trying to. Not to mention the way it happened.

"We bonded over nudity?!" Himiko yelled without thinking.

Kumo opened her mouth to respond, before stopping, and instead of talking she began to lift up her shirt.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

Kumo paused in her act of shirt removal and looked at Himiko. "Well, I mean I didn't get naked, so obviously we haven't fully bonded yet!"

"THAT'S NOT HOW THIS WORKS!"

"It's not?"

"NO! KEEP YOUR SHIRT ON!"

"Okay!" Kumo cheerily responded, dropping her shirt back down and smiling widely at Himiko, fangs proudly displayed. "We should get back to class. We've kept them waiting long enough."

Himiko just sighed. 'I'm all for a little chaos, but even I have limits.' She thought to herself as she followed Kumo back to class.

'I wonder if Izumi's day is going to be just as chaotic. Maybe more since she's teaching Heroics.'

'Why do I feel like I've done this before?' Izumi thought as she stood in the alleyway. One of her two opponents came charging around the corner, and she quickly shrugged the feeling off. 'Whatever.'

"Tally ho, lads!" Izumi exclaimed as she opened fire.

"OH SHI-" Tetsutetsu barely got his arms in front of himself before the cannonball sent him flying into the opposite wall.

Izumi chuckled and patted her cannon "Good job, Ol'Faithful, good job." She was about to walk forward to verify when she heard the other student running through the alleyway.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!" the student shouted, which made Izumi smirk.

"And then there was one." She said to herself, before walking in the direction the voice came from. The alleyway was covered in smoke, all thanks to a smoke grenade she threw earlier in the match.

"Hey! Is anyone out there?" She heard, but she didn't respond.

"Hey, Metalhead! What happened?!"

Izumi still didn't answer, her footsteps being the only noise echoing throughout the alley as she made her way toward her last opponent. One footfall after the other. He wasn't anywhere close to the alleyway, and that he couldn't tell who was coming toward him through the smoke in the alley.

"Answer me!" The voices sounded desperate now. Izumi even swore she heard it crack from his frayed nerves.

"Come on! You didn't let that gun-crazy chick get the best of you! She should have been nothing against a quirk like yours! Perfect against firearms!"

Izumi couldn't wait for the post-match review. She already knew what to critique.

"I mean, that idiot assistant of hers wasn't much in the mental department."

Izumi stopped in her tracks.

"Talk about the dullest blade in the drawer. If he was that much of a mess, then she can't be much better."

Oh… that's it.

Izumi wordlessly pulled her revolver out and shot a single bullet into the smoke. The sound of a hawk rang out, and she heard a sound of pain from within the smoke. She silently walked forward and looked down at her now defeated indigo-haired adversary clad in what looked similar to a Shinobi's outfit.

"Hitoshi Shinso has been eliminated!" All Might's voice boomed from the loudspeakers.

Hitoshi was in pain. That shot hurt, bad. He tried everything he could think of to get her to talk the moment he realized it was her and not Tetsutetsu, but nothing worked.

He looked up and flinched at the dark aura radiating off of Flintlock. Her exposed face screamed that she was pissed off, her grip tightening on her gun.

It was at this moment Hitoshi knew he fucked up.

"Sneak attack!" A fully metal Tetsutetsu yelled as he charged out of the smoke, fist aimed right for the back of Flintlock's head.

Without even missing a beat, Flintlock turned and caught the fist with her left hand, and holstered her revolver before striking Tetsutetsu right in the chest with her free hand. The attack didn't really hurt the steel man, but it destroyed his already damaged sensor.

"Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu has been eliminated! Flintlock wins!"

Tetsutetsu blinked in surprise, before realization set in. "Damn! I almost had you!" He tried to pull his fist out of Flintlock's hold, but found he had trouble escaping her iron grip. "U-Um… Sensei?"

After he said that, Flintlock released his hand. "Head to the observation room." She told him in an unreadable tone. "Now."

Tetsutetsu wasted no time as he headed straight for where the rest of his class was. Hitoshi was about to get up and follow him, but…

"Not you." Flintlock sternly said, and Hitoshi a lump form in his throat as he saw her giving him a cold look.

"Explain what you just did." She told him no, ordered him.

"I… I don't understand." Hitoshi swore Flintlock looked as imposing as All Might himself as she stood over him.

"Alright, guess I'm doing your evaluation out here." She narrowed her eyes. "You're too reliant on your quirk." She got straight to the point.

"What?" He blurted out.

"Was your plan as simple as trying to get me to talk, and then you mind control me?" She rhetorically asked. "It was obvious."

"What?! How do you know how my quirk works?!" Hitoshi's eyes widened.

"What? Did you think I wouldn't read the student files? I had to make sure I knew what quirks I was dealing with in a class where someone could get seriously hurt. So, of course, I was going to see what each of your quirks were, drawbacks, stuff like that. But you still didn't answer my question." She leaned forward. "What. Was. The plan?"

Hitoshi knew he couldn't bullshit with her. Straight and simple answers are what she wanted. "Get you to talk and mind control you."

Flintlock hummed. "And you thought insulting the mental stability of my brother was the best play?"

Hitoshi grimaced. He wasn't exactly proud of it, but he was desperate.

She continued. "You were so desperate to beat me you would resort to comments as insulting as that? Especially comments targeting someone not even involved in the exercise?"

"Yes."

"I don't think I need to explain what was wrong with what you said. Do I?"

"No."

"If getting me to talk wasn't working, why didn't you try something else?" She questioned. "You could have found a different way. Maybe against a villain insulting their family might be viable, but even then, you're a hero. Your duty is to set an example for people and save them. What kind of example are you setting when you just insult villains to get them to talk?" When he didn't answer, she growled and continued, "You didn't think to close the distance? To get in close? Nothing? Just "Use your quirk and everything will turn out fine?"

Hitoshi scoffed.

"What? Go on, share." Flintlock firmly told him.

The entire dressing down and situation had Hitoshi stressed, so maybe that's why he answered her so bluntly and rather aggressively.

"What the hell am I supposed to do against you?! You're a pro-hero! You were so lucky to get a fancy quirk that helped you from the start! I may not know what it is, but if you're this good, then it must be something neat, huh?! You had the best training, the best chances, all because you had the 'perfect quirk'! I didn't stand a chance."

Flintlock stared at him for what felt like an eternity, and the longer she did, the more realization seeped in about what he just said, all to a teacher who could easily take away his chance at being a hero.

"That's no excuse." She finally said.

"Huh?"

"Not having the 'perfect quirk' is no excuse. You wanna know why?" She didn't wait for him to answer before she pointed a thumb at herself. "I don't even have a quirk!"

Hitoshi's eyes widened. "What?"

"You heard me. I'm quirkless. I can't fly or transform or shoot lasers. I have no superpowers. I didn't have a quirk to help me get where I'm at." She pointed at him. "You have no excuse. It's not your quirk's fault that you didn't beat me. It's your fault. Own it, don't blame it on 'not having the right quirk', because I'm living proof that quirks aren't everything."

Hitoshi continued to stare at Flintlock as if she were some kind of fantastical creature that was thought to be a myth. Like unicorns or Bigfoot. Weird comparison, but that's just how unlikely Hitoshi thought he'd ever see a quirkless hero within his lifetime.

"... How?" He asked after a while. "How do I get to where you're at? What do I have to do?"

Flintlock looked at him, then nodded so slightly that it almost went unnoticed by Hitoshi. She then reached a hand out for him to grab. Hitoshi looked at it for a second before reaching up and grabbing it. The next thing he knew, he was on his feet.

"If you're serious about improving yourself, then talk with me at the end of the day." That was all she told him before walking to the monitor room.

Was Izumi mad about what he said? Yes. But she's an understanding woman and knew he was being desperate. Plus, she was his teacher. It was her responsibility to help him be the best he can be. She'll forgive him if he's serious about putting in the work needed to be a great hero.

Izumi ran a hand through her hair and sighed through her nose before she decided to check on Twice.

"I hope Himiko's having a better day than I am right now…"

Lunch!

Himiko was starving. Once they were dismissed, she immediately got up and left for the cafeteria, bento in hand. Jin's cooking was going to taste extra good today. Himiko just knew it. She found an empty table in the cafeteria's corner and sat down. The moment she opened the bento, she had to actively suppress the urge to drool at both the sight and smell of her big brother's home-cooked food. He had tried to make Japanese food with Mama Inko's help, and it looked and smelled fantastic. She must have spaced out, because she didn't notice the very ecstatic spider girl speed across the cafeteria, and straight for her.

"THERE YOU ARE!"

Himiko immediately jumped and held her bento close to her, like it was some sort of precious treasure. "No! It's my food! Get your own! Hiss!" she hissed at whoever dared try to steal her delicious food.

Kumo blinked owlishly at her. "I… did, get my own."

"Did you just hiss at her? Kero?"

Himiko looked over at the speaker. It was the boy who sat in front of Kumo in class. Did he just croak?

"I'll flippin' do it again!" Himiko announced in response.

"Why don't I doubt that? Kero."

Kumo's eyes widened in realization. "Oh, Midoriya, I need to introduce you! Meet, Sami-Chan!" She gestured at the boy.

'Sami-Chan' croaked. "Kumo, if you're going to introduce me, please at least try to use my proper name."

"No promises!"

"Kero. Anyway," he turned to Himiko, who still looked like she was ready to scratch at whoever came close to her lunch, "My actual name is Samidare Asui. A pleasure to meet you. Kero."

Himiko still had her eyes narrowed at them, but slowly placed her bento back on the table. "Nice to meet you, too."

"So…" Kumo tapped her upper hands against a box she was carrying with two of her lower hands. "Can we sit? Or are we gonna get cat scratches?"

Himiko kept her eyes narrowed at them before slowly nodding her head. "You can sit."

"Yippee!" Kumo wasted no time sitting down, Samidare sitting next to her. "Who wants a muffin?!"

"Are those the only things you have in the box? Kero?" Samidare asked, already looking like he knew the answer.

"N-No! I have other food!" Kumo defended herself.

"Like?" He prompted.

"L-Like… uh… um…" Kumo's skin started turning a darker shade of blue around her cheeks.

"You're lying. Kero."

"No, I'm not!"

"Prove it then. Open the box." He dared her, Himiko just watching in amusement.

Kumo didn't open the box for a minute until suddenly she whined and opened the box. "Okay, you're right!" The box had nothing but muffins in it.

"Kumo, you can't live off of just muffins."

"But Sami-Chan! They're delicious!"

"You need actual food. Kero."

"Fine! I'll bring donuts next time!"

"That's not actual food either."

"Why are you so picky?!" Kumo lifted a muffin out of the box and took a big bite of it.

"I'm picky? You literally eat nothing but muffins. Kero. I'm not the picky one."

"Lies and slander and I will not stand for this!" Kumo pointed at him with her only free hand. The other five were holding muffins. "I'll give you a piece of my mind… after I eat these tasty muffins!" She then immediately continued to wolf down said muffins.

"Girl has her priorities straight." Himiko mused.

Samidare gave her a deadpan look. "Don't encourage her behavior."

Kumo swallowed her current bite and then held a fresh muffin out towards Himiko. "Do you want one, Midoriya?"

"Huh?" Himiko looked at the offered muffin. "Uh… sure. Thanks." She took the muffin from Kumo, then took a bite. Her eyes lit up. Because holy crap, this muffin is delicious!

"AHA!" Kumo yelled in a victorious tone as she pointed at Himiko. "The muffins have enlightened her!"

"I don't blame her. Your muffins are delicious. Kero." Samidare admitted.

"And I was gonna give you one too…" Kumo held a new muffin in her hand. "But considering how mean you're being to me right now, I don't know…"

Suddenly, a long tongue shot out and snatched the muffin from Kumo's hand. The tongue then retracted into Samidare's mouth, him catching the muffin in his hand before it impacted his face.

"I remember doing no such thing." Samidare claimed before he took a bite of the muffin, croaking happily at its taste. Kumo pouted at having a muffin stolen from her like that.

Himiko laughed at the interaction. These two so far were fun, but she figured she should get to eating before lunch ended. She once again opened her bento, and the smell washed over everyone at the table. Kumo and Samidare both immediately halted in their current actions and stared at the food within the box.

"What. Is. That?" Kumo asked, as she drooled a bit.

"It smells delicious. Kero." Samidare had a bit more control and managed not to drool.

Himiko smiled. "It's my big bro's cooking!" She proudly stated as she started to eat.

As she ate Samidare eating his own food, Kumo hungrily stared at Himiko's food with a wanting look. The other two noticed this, and Samidare shook his head.

"I said that you should have brought actual food. Kero." He told her.

"I-I did! Muffins!" She held one of her precious treats with two hands.

"Then why are you looking at Midoriya's food like you wish you had it?" He asked her.

"I'm not!"

As if to spite Kumo, her stomach let out a loud growl. She blushed a darker blue in embarrassment, much to the amusement of the others at the table. Himiko looked down at her food, and mulled over her options for a second, before shrugging and sliding the bento across the table to Kumo, who looked up, confused at the gesture.

"You can have some." Himiko smiled. "Jin usually gets way too excited and makes a bit more than I can eat anyway." She answered Kumo's unasked question as she offered Kumo her fork.

Kumo beamed at her and took the offered utensil before taking a bite out of some rice and chicken with a squeal. Himiko's smile grew at the sight of her new friend enjoying her brother's food. After letting Kumo take a few more bites, she took the food back and began properly enjoying her own lunch, much to Samidare's amusement.

"Kero, didn't you just threaten to maul us if we so much as looked at your lunch wrong?"

Himiko waved her hand in a dismissive gesture. "Well, yeah, but that was because I thought you were some rando trying to steal my food, or worse, Izumi."

Kumo brightened as she munched on her muffin, chewing quickly and swallowing.

"Oh, yeah! You mentioned something about being from America! Or at least that your big sis is from America! That's so cool! Is that why you're using a fork instead of chopsticks even though you're Japanese? OH is your brother American? If so, why can he make, like, the best bento I've ever tasted!? Ca–" she was cut off as Samidare shoved another muffin into her mouth and shrugged at Himiko.

"Sorry about her. She gets excited, Kero."

Himiko chuckled around her fork and swallowed her food before answering either of them. "It's fine, Jin is the same way, heck Izumi is too when you get her talking about things she likes…" Himiko put a hand to her cheek and began answering Kumo's questions next "All three of us were born here in Japan. Izumi's like… a third American? I think? Papa works in America, so we all live with him in Texas. I don't know why Jin can make the best food ever. He just does. Even Mama's impressed, and she just met him!" Himiko took a quick swig of her "Tea," (it was really just blood in a thermos). "But yea we're only here in Japan because Izumi got offered a job at UA."

Samidare croaked in surprise, his eyes widening. "Your sister works at UA? My sister just started going there for the hero course. That's why we moved down here."

"You moved down to Musutafu just so your sister can go to UA? What about your parents? Don't they have work?" Himiko couldn't help but ask, hoping she didn't offend him, but Samidare just shrugged his shoulders.

"My parents work away from home anyway, so it's not like much has changed. Their work gave them free passes on the Shinkansen, so the commute isn't bad." He explained as he ate his sandwich.

The three continued to eat and talk for the rest of lunch, and Himiko really enjoyed herself. These two were pleasant company. She had thought she would spend her time at this school alone, but apparently not. It was a surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one.

Aizawa walked into the classroom, pleased to see that his students were already seated and quiet. It was surprising to see each of them working in a notebook of some kind, but he shrugged and assumed that it was classwork Midoriya had given the students before he cleared his throat to gain their attention.

"This is just a final "class" to touch base on how you all did before I dismiss you for the rest of the day." He began. "Luckily, All Might and Flintlock were very thorough in your debrief. So I don't have to do much. Just remember everything they told you and continue to improve yourselves. Don't slack off." He added with a glare, which caused the students to all nod and let out a quiet yes, sir.

He gave a quick nod before giving one last announcement. "Oh yeah, Flintlock wanted me to let you all know that she is hosting after-class training at Gym Gamma for anyone who chooses to participate in them. They will primarily focus on improving hand-to-hand and physical fitness, but if there is something specific you want to learn, she said she'd be open to teaching you it upon her request and my approval." He glanced at Minoru. "It's optional, but I highly encourage you to go if you feel the need to improve yourselves. Class dismissed."

Tenya immediately stood and glanced around at the class. "Extracurricular training? Why would you make this optional, Sensei?! We must take every opportunity to better ourselves!" with that he sped and walked out of the room, presumably towards Gym Gamma, but the class couldn't really tell.

Katsuki was the next to leave, surprising everyone, including Aizawa. "I can't believe I'm agreeing with Four-Eyes, but Deku knows her stuff, so I'm at least gonna give it a look."

Ochako looked at Pony whose eyes had glazed over and sighed knowing that the American girl was definitely going to go, she patted the horned girl on the back "Well, I do want to improve my hand-to-hand, and maybe she can help me figure out how to use my quirk better!" Pony beamed at them and the two quickly made their way out of the classroom, followed closely by Momo who left without saying a word.

Everyone else made their way towards the dorms slowly, either too tired to even contemplate joining in on the extra training or not all that interested in it in the first place. Everyone except Minoru, who was caught by Aizawa's capture scarf, wrapping around him and pulling him to eye level with the irate insomniac.

"I understand that Midoriya-Sensei caught you in the act of something highly uncouth for a hero student." He began at Minoru's fearful look. He sighed. "No, she didn't rat to me. That was Principal Nedzu. Just know this, her 'punishment' was far too lenient and I will be adding my own so that you hopefully learn from this mistake and never make it again."

Minoru let out a whimper, which Aizawa took as a confirmation that he understood, "No, I won't be expelling you. If you had been caught in the act, this conversation would be very different." He handed Minoru a note and grinned. "Hand that to Midoriya. For the next month, you're going to be her towel and errand boy in these after-school training sessions. Anything she asks you to do, you will do and she can't overturn the detention, so don't even think of asking her to do so." He set Minoru down and motioned for him to leave. "Go, don't let me hear that you were late, and do better."

With the last of his class dismissed, Aizawa sighed and walked behind his desk to catch up on some sleep.

Izumi leaned against the wall of Gym Gamma, near the front door. Minoru had arrived a while ago with the note from Aizawa. While Izumi was a bit irritated at him calling her punishment too lenient, she understood. She wasn't exactly used to punishing students yet, after all. The most she's done in terms of punishment is with villains, but Izumi couldn't exactly shoot her students.

"... Or could I?" she thought out loud.

"Could you do what, Sensei?" Minoru curiously asked as he hauled back the cooler filled with water bottles and sports drinks that she had asked him to go grab.

"Could I shoot you guys as a form of punishment?" She nonchalantly told him, much to Minoru's fear and her amusement. "I'm kidding! I wouldn't do that." His sigh of relief made her laugh. She sighed and took a water bottle out of the cooler, and continued to observe the gym they were in while she waited for the students to arrive.

Gym Gamma. The place was big and spacious enough for a whole class to work separately without getting in one another's way, and with Jin's quirk, they could make a copy of Cementoss to manipulate the terrain if they needed to. The UA staff were more than happy to allow the Duplicator to take their measurements for his quirk; it meant more free time in their schedules.

Except for Nezu. And maybe that was for the best. They didn't need two of those running around. The thought alone made Izumi shiver. Her boss could be incredibly scary when he felt like it, and as far as Izumi could tell, he always felt like it.

Now that Izumi was really thinking about it, that would imply that Nezu was constantly holding himself back from traumatizing his faculty.

"That's a terrifying thought." She whispered to herself, before shrugging it off as she heard the faint sounds of footsteps approaching from outside. "Ah, the first arrival, it seems."

Izumi expected maybe Pony or Shinso based on her previous experiences with them, what with Pony being an eager fangirl and Shinso being well… prompted to meet her after class. Surprisingly, it was neither of them. Instead, it was Tenya speed walking into the training grounds, dressed in the UA gym uniform.

"Fast walk you got there, Iida." She pushed herself off of the wall and walked toward him.

"When Aizawa-Sensei told us the news about you hosting extra lessons, I saw this as a great opportunity to improve myself!" Tenya then bowed a perfect ninety degrees. "I thank you deeply for this opportunity, Flintlock-Sensei!"

Izumi brought a single finger to Tenya's forehead and guided him to stand up straight. "No need to be so stiff about it, Iida. And don't sweat it. I'm more than happy to help anyone who is looking to improve." Suddenly, a second person walked in, and Izumi couldn't stop the smile that formed when she saw the indigo hair. "Speaking of improvement… Glad you decided to join us, Shinso."

Hitoshi shrugged, "Thought I'd have to ask around, but Vlad-Sensei told us you would be here. Made my search easier."

"Ah! Am I to assume you are from the second Heroics class, 1-B?!" Tenya didn't give Hitoshi time to answer before he once more bowed ninety degrees. "I am Tenya Iida, of Class 1-A! I look forward to working with you!"

Hitoshi grimaced as was going to just ignore him, but the green-haired woman with them wouldn't allow that.

"Shinso, play nice." She told him in a motherly tone. One that was too good to be a joke.

Jin flinched at the tone. Memories of the voice being targeted at him flashed through his mind. The sounds of gunfire and helicopters as they yelled that the trees were ali-

No, wait. Those are stereotypical Vietnam flashbacks. Why was he thinking of those? Vietnam was centuries ago.

Hitoshi sighed before slightly bowing back to Tenya. "Hitoshi Shinso, 1-B. Pleasure."

The responding introduction seemed to "reset" Tenya as he stood up straight once more. He was about to respond when the door opened once again, and one more person came through.

"Ah, this must be Gym Gamma then." A boy with blonde hair looked around until his eyes landed on Hitoshi. "Well, good to see I won't be the only B student here. Shinso." He nodded at the insomniac.

"Monoma." Hitoshi lazily waved back. "Why are you here?"

Neito hummed. "Figured Flintlock-Sensei could help me with a crucial skill I've been meaning to look into sharpening."

Two more people entered next, and Izumi was honestly surprised to see one of them.

"Kacchan?" She raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing here?"

Katsuki shrugged. "I figured I'd see if you needed some help, maybe check out if you've learned anything fancy while you were in America…" he looked away with his hands in his pockets. "You always were a nerd, after all."

If Izumi took offense, she didn't show it. Instead, she bounded over to the younger male and hugged him with one arm. "Aww, you really do care!"

Katsuki did not appreciate this public display of affection at all, and tried to pry her off of him, but to no avail. The two struggled like that for a few minutes while everyone looked on in confusion.

Izumi looked over at the girl who arrived with him. "Miss Yaoyorozu, I'm pleased to see that you decided to attend."

"Flintlock-Sensei–" Momo began only to be cut off by the teacher in question.

"Izumi kid," she said with a grin as she snuggled Kacchan into submission, "I'm off the clock, so Izumi is fine." She noticed Tenya stiffen at the lack of respectful address given and hastily added, "Or Midoriya-Sensei, if you really want to be formal."

Momo nodded in understanding and continued her line of questioning. "Midoriya–Sensei then, what exactly will we be learning? Aizawa-Sensei wasn't very forthcoming besides the fact that you'd be going over some fundamentals with us."

Izumi was about to answer when two more people entered the gym. She let go of Katsuki, much to his relief, and turned to see Ochako and Pony jogging into the room.

"No running on school grounds!" Tenya scolded, only to be waved off by Izumi, who just chuckled at the boy's uptight nature.

"We're in a gym, Iida. It's meant for running, so no worries."

Tenya immediately changed his tune and bowed stiffly. "OF COURSE! How could I have forgotten! Thank you sensei! I apologize!"

Pony didn't really get everything that was going on but smiled brightly at seeing her idol, while Ochako just giggled into her hand.

"Miss Tsunotori, Miss Uraraka, I'm glad to see the both of you, and I'm glad that you two didn't let your win get to your heads and decided to continue to improve."

Hitoshi's and Neito's eyes widened. "Wait, they actually won?!" Hitoshi sputtered out.

"Yep!" Izumi nodded. "Cheating bastards, I'm so proud!" She dramatically said, as she pretended to wipe away tears of pride.

"Why would you be proud that they cheated?"

"I'm more proud that they had the guts to shoot at me with my own guns more than anything."

All conversation was halted with the arrival of one last person, this one not a student, but a seven-foot-tall walking skeleton.

"Sorry, everybody." The Skeleton apologized. "I had to check to see if any more students were on the way. Sorry for being late." The man bowed uncomfortably, which Izumi just waved off with a smile.

"Mister Yagi!" Izumi happily said. "It's alright, they just arrived, so you're not late at all." She gave him a smug smile... "Just last."

"Who the hell are you supposed to be? Skeletor?" Katsuki raised an eyebrow at the gaunt man and Izumi snorted out a laugh while the newly named Yagi just sheepishly smiled.

Izumi gestured to the man. "Everyone, I'd like you to meet Mister Yagi. He may not look like it, but he's actually a well-respected personal trainer and a close friend. I invited him here today so he can help whoever is looking to improve their personal fitness. Talk to him and he'll get to work on a training plan for you if you want it."

"If he's a personal trainer, why does he look…" Minoru started gesturing vaguely with his hands at Yagi.

"You just gestured to all of me." Yagi pointed out.

"Like a fucking skeleton!" Katsuki growled out and this time Izumi didn't laugh as she glanced at him warningly. She was about to tell him off when Yagi chuckled and nodded.

"I do, in fact, look like a skeleton. That's what happens when you're injured enough to lose part of your stomach and lung."

Ochako gasped, "What happened?!"

Yagi just shrugged. "A car accident a few years ago. But not to fear Young Lady! I am still plenty strong!"

"The man is a skinny Hercules! He can bench press a car! I've seen it!" Twice told them.

"Fucking prove it!" Katsuki growled out, only to receive a chop to the head by Izumi.

"Stop being rude." Izumi's mothering voice was out, and Twice, Minoru, Shinso, and even Yagi flinched at that.

"It's okay! Maybe after today's training, if they all do well, I can prove it to them." Yagi exclaimed with a thumbs up and a wide smile that looked oddly familiar. "First, they have to prove themselves to us after all!"

"Right! Then let's not waste any more time!" Izumi turned to the assembled students. "Welcome one and all, to Flintlock's after-school Hell Class!"

Everyone couldn't help but sweat a bit as they all simultaneously asked, "Hell Class?"

Izumi gave a smile, and anyone who didn't know her or have any experience with her would have seen a precious young woman giving a sweet smile to her students, but what the students truly saw was a green demon, with a smile that promised hell.

"This is where the fun begins."
