Peter received notice of Wanda and Loki's new location change, he wondered what would have happened if he stayed with them, they had grown on him but running away from Earth wasn't exactly for him, at least in Wakanda he could be aware of the situation.
"He's coming" Stephen's voice announced, he hadn't yelled but his voiced echoed through the whole room, most of the Avengers were there.
Everyone began finishing suiting up and moving outside the room, Peter looked over at Mr. Stark, the man seemed completely under control as he began setting his armour through his electronic watch, Peter could tell Tony was nervous and so the poor boy was even more, it did not help that this was his first big fight, sure he had fought some of the Avengers, but he hadn't been in a life or death situation, as for Vulture, the man was a criminal not a mass space murderer like Thanos. He had seen what the alien was capable of, Thor was almost dead and how scared Loki and Nebula had been, none of that mattered anymore, he would fight.
Captain America placed himself in the middle of the room, something about him made everyone turn to what he was about to say.
"Today we will fight for everyone we know, for the ones that have been taken from us, and to keep that from happening ever again. I believe in every single one of you, and I know they do too"
Peter took out his mask and turned to Stark "What do I write to Wanda and Loki?"
Stephen stepped in, suddenly Peter felt shorter than ever.
"Nothing" the Supreme Sorcerer said in a threatening tone "if we lose today at least they'll keep one stone safe"
"But shouldn't they at least know?" Peter asked
Stephen gave him a small pat on the shoulder, his gaze softened "They will...let's go Parker"
Tony shot Strange a questioning glance, but the two finally walked out of the room, Peter looked back at the set up and only answered a "understood" reply to their update, he took a deep breath before running outside.

Wanda sent an update message of their new location change; they were taking longer than ever.
She was freezing, Loki had taken them to a cabin in the middle of the mountains, a blizzard just outside their door and an old fireplace that didn't work very well, Loki had summoned fire but there was little to be done, she was wrapped inside an old and heavy coat, and sitting as close as she could to the fire.
Understood. They replied.
She sighed in relief, every time they sent a message, she feared there would be no reply.
Loki put down other two blankets next to her and sat down as well, he covered himself in one and offered the other one to her.
C'mon Loki.
He sighed and scooted over to her, their shoulders touching, he put the blanket around them.
"Thor's not dead yet?" He asked half joking half serious.
"They replied but didn't send any updates" she answered "I'm beginning to think they won't tell us anyway."
"Either they die and we never hear from them..." Loki began
"Or they'll say we won" she finished.
"You forget the possibility of Thanos finding us first" he added.
"Ever the optimistic" she joked.
The two of them knew that behind all that joking they were truly concerned, their coping system was well understood and shared.
"Will you run forever then?" Loki suddenly asked
"For as long as I can, if necessary" she turned to him "I know you have been trying to help, and I truly appreciate it, but you could leave if you want to, go find Thor, or maybe stay off of Thanos radar, I'm sure he won't ever suspect you helped us, I will manage"
He wasn't expecting that, he glanced back at her, her green eyes shined from the fire, half of her face lit up while the other was in the dark, just like her internal fight with what she felt and what she wanted to do, true strength.
"I know, and truly I appreciate it" he answered with her same words "but you'll have to try harder to get rid of me"
Wanda smiled, suddenly he didn't feel so cold anymore, the two turned back to the fire once more and she rested her head against his shoulder, slowly he leaned his head onto hers.
"Maybe we should get a team name" Wanda joked
"There's only two of us, that would be lame"
"The magic duo" she tried
"Oh, please no"
"Pair of runaways"
"That's somehow even worse"
"Bonnie and Clyde"
"Who?"
"Castaways"
"Wanda"
"Yes?"
"No"
"Okay"
Loki chuckled and closed his eyes, a rare thought crossed his mind, how could it be possible that he had so little time knowing her, and somehow Wanda Maximoff knew him better than everyone else? How come was freezing in a cabin in the middle of nowhere better than anything he could think of, just because she was with him? He feared what he was starting to feel, and so pushed it aside.
Wanda's head left his shoulder and he felt a strange emptiness. She yawned and looked around.
"Let me" he offered, he stood up and pushed a couch to where they were.
"What about you?" She asked
"I'm not tired" he lied.
Wanda nodded and laid down on the couch, she insisted he kept the other blanket, he agreed and rested his back against the couch, he fell asleep a few minutes after her.
