A/N: Did this in a single day but didn't exactly go in and check everything's spelling or to try and clarify anything that might seem confusing. Sorry for that in advance, warn me about it in reviews.

Also review, I like seeing them.

He woke up with the taste of mud in his mouth, and to the feeling of something sniffing him. Grudgily craning his neck to look up from his laying position, Geo saw a Fox Tail right up in his face, its happy face turned to one of surprise when he started moving. Wasn't long after that that it dashed away, back into the woods.

Geo tried to keep its eyes on it, even when he forced himself to lift himself on his arms. Taking a look around, he didn't see anyone; no people, no monsters, no nothing except for the broken down machines in the field he's in.

He put a hand against his face, rubbing it. Unlike yesterday when he was knocked out by a wolf blast and didn't know what was happening when he woke up, today was different. Vivid memories of some sort of wolf boss monster's gob opening up around Ami's face. If it weren't for that... Light, Ami'd be dead.

His pose went from all fours, to standing up in one fluid throwing motion. His body was still sore, but it didn't seem like he needed much energy to do things now in this world. A bonus to his weary body.

It didn't look to be too early in the morning with the bright blue sky above him, and the sun just a few hours away from sunrise, luckily. He'd always not been too light a sleeper, he supposes that switching worlds wasn't really too much of a shame. Craning his neck, he looked above and behind him to see the broken path that he took to get here, along with the marks and hole of the wolves when they trapped him in place. He'd been halfway through to the nearby forest, punch already gearing up to deck the tree before he stopped.

Slowly, he lowered his hand. He wouldn't want a repeat of yesterday, so he just looked above, took notice of where one of the fruits were, and lightly jumped. Even just his light jumping almost made him bonk his head on a branch, but he got the fruit he came for, even if his fingers had accidentally carved into the fruit slightly.

He took a quick breath in, and a quick breath out. Ami was fine now, he didn't really have to care that much. Did still bum him out of what could have happened, but it didn't.

Finding nothing else to do Geo's feet walked him through the field, looking at the ruined machines that were dotted along the field. Looking at them closer, they all seemed to be construction- or, no, excavation. Putting his palm flat against the surface of one, he pushed it, just to see what would happen.

With hardly any give, the broken machine started tipping down before falling into the ground with a cloud of smoke. What surprised him the most were the wolves that came out of it when it did - giving him a mean glare but quickly scurrying away.

If it weren't for the sickly sweet fruit that was in his mouth, he'd thought that he was still asleep with what just happened. Wolves? In MY broken down machines?

Geo looked at all the other machines, now seeing dark silhouettes of wolves clearly hiding inside many of them. He grit his teeth, hands clenching. He might've been feeling a little better, but he still had the nagging voice in the back of his head telling him "he could've done more yesterday." I'm sure messing with a few doggos wouldn't give him too much bad karma!

He finished the rest of the fruit and threw the core away. Once he was done and wiped his hands a little, he faced his body towards a specific machine in the middle, planting his foot hard in the ground, enough to have earth erupt out of the ground following the shockwave. Putting both his hands behind him, he wondered if this would work, before bringing both palms in front of him and clapping directly ahead of himself.

A massive boom could be heard at the clap of his hands, a gust of wind following his trajectory and swarming the broken down unit. Parts of it fell off, and it was starting to topple over, but in the end it was left standing. Same couldn't be said for the wolves inside of it, sensing the danger.

When the few in there got out, Geo immediately tackled one before it even hit the floor, hitting its head on a tree that broke, and then throwing it at another wolf, knocking the two out.

The tree that snapped in half, the trunk was still in the ground, but the top was still mid-falling. Grabbing the base of the broken piece, he planted both his feet on the ground and angled for another machine. Just as the wolves realised what he was going to do, he LAUNCHED it right at them, the tree cracking on contact and breaking part of the machinery's ceiling - looked to be some sort of forklift.

A few jumped from the other side - the side facing away from him - but one jumped dramatically towards him, most likely freaking out over the attack and just wanting to get out. Geo readied up and quickly threw a punch towards his fist. The distance between the two didn't matter even though his fist clearly didn't land, all he wanted was to send him rocketing towards the air, down towards the trees.

He looked at the wolf in the distance until he hit the trees, hearing the faraway rustling of leaves and the even quieter hissing of the fox balls made him feel marginally better, but he still had some steam. When he turned around, he saw majority of the wolves got the hint, and ran away. Well, most.

One of the wolves looked to have locked itself in, either it did it on purpose to be left alone - since it was the only one in it - or it had done it accidentally, he didn't really care. Seeing as he got a little time...

He brought his palm up, facing the big tow machine his enemy was in. Geo tried to focus, to clear his mind... He tried to remember what his comrade from the other night said about his power... He at least knew he could sense things with it, so he tried that.

He tried sensing the panic-driven wolf, to see if he could see it without having to have his eyes open. Know where it was if it were to ever get in its blind spot.

He didn't really succeed, or at the very least, he couldn't really feel anything from the wolf's general direction. Geo decided to get closer, and closer, with his palm outstretched to the wolf in the cage. It didn't really surprise Geo that an unknown figure that seems to have a vengeance towards your race would scare it more, especially if he had his arm outstretched like this.

'Stupid wolf,' he thought, seeing its animalistic instincts. Ignoring the fact that he himself would probably act similarly if something like this happened to him.

Him getting closer didn't do much for his senses; all he got was the smell of the rusted metal, the earth that caked the machine, and the same foul stench he got yesterday; which he scrunched his nose at just the whiff of it.

'Congratulations, you're somehow exuding out the smell of "bad",- he thought, still dumbfounded by the fact that a smell could be called evil.

Geo noticed the wolf stopped shaking about, and its next action lead to Geo's eyes widening a bit. The wolf was charging another of its roar blasts in its mouth, but instead of throwing it at him - or the window between them - it was charging it at the roof.

When it fired, he could see the cockpit get filled out with smoke, and immediately after, a wolf head trying to get out of a small hole ontop the machinery's cockpit.

Its thrashing was immense now, probably knowing it was in a really vulnerable state being stuck like that. Geo winced - or more cringed - at the sight of it.

Feeling pity for it, he put his foot back, leaned his body back, and then threw out a kick in the face of the machine, the unit exploding inwards with his kick. It didn't crack the whole thing open in two like he wanted, more like everything cracked. Everything. Period.

The wolf out free, it left in a mad dash, probably trying to find its species and group up again.

A few seconds in ample silence, Geo scratched his head. He wished he had a goal like the wolf had.

'What am I supposed to do now?' he wondered as he looked up at the last spot he saw the golden warrior in. If she went that way with Ami, there's gotta be something there.

He had no idea how short or long the road to whatever there was, but he had little else to do.

'Let's get trekking.'

Geo didn't even notice the boss wolf's missing body.

It had been a few minutes - possibly even half an hour, if hours were even a thing here - that Geo had started his walk. In his hand an half-eaten astrocot and a trail of several cores behind him, along with a few more in his hoodie.

He had to sate his hunger somehow, even if these weren't really filling.

Despite what happened yesterday and his little fight this morning, Geo wasn't really in a rush to go anywhere. Sun was still bright in the sky, which meant he still had a little time before night actually came, and he knew Ami was safe.

Besides, it was really relaxing. It wasn't because of Ami yesterday that it wasn't relaxing so much as it was fun - it was a brand new world, and Ami had pretty much indicated their path -, but now that he's gotten a little used it, and was going at his own pace?

Really not much of a wonder that he was going at so leisurely of a pace as he is.

The sun was bright and there weren't any clouds, but its rays weren't blistering either. The shadows of the trees were cool, and so was the breeze that came and rustled both the leaves and his hair. In the trees he could see plenty more of the same fruit he was eating, like the trail behind him barely meant anything to their population. Their rich fruity smell attacked his nostrils in an almost intense way, but he'd grown used to it; their taste, too. Tasted slightly of cookies & almond.

With all this, he could probably tell it was spring. It was spring back in Earth too, actually. Maybe there aren't that many differences in the first place?

He took a bite of the fruit, which he didn't really know the name of yet. He didn't know the name of a lot of things in this place, except for Ami, and the name of the world - Teora. Beyond that? He knew nothing, except that foxes were round, this particular fruit had a star in its bottom, and that wolves fire blasts.

'I wonder what else is there?' He looked up to the sky, seeing in the distance, a flying fish. 'Flying fish? Swimming birds?'

Geo stopped, his head still craning up looking at the sky but not looking at any fish. Instead, of realisation.

Those birds have a pretty good eagle view of everything, right? With how high up they are, they have to be; he's sure that they know exactly where everything is.

So why is he stuck here in the ground, where he could get a better view just by going up?

Geo hit himself in the back, actually almost bowling himself back with the unexpected strength. 'Still gotta get the hang of that.' Then, he crouched, arms rolled up, and started flexing his legs. Before long, a massive boom could be heard as he flew up into the sky, jumping way past the trees.

Now, it didn't really feel like flying, but Geo couldn't help at smile at as the wind soured past his face and body. It felt freeing in a way, even if he was only moving in one direction.

Still, he tried getting that off his mind, and focusing ahead. Geo tried spinning his body around, moving his head to try and go in any direction. In where he came from, he saw only forest; but in the general direction he was going, he saw something else that he had no idea how he missed yesterday.

Down below and faraway from him, was a bustling kingdom. No, not a kingdom, a city. A genuine proper city, or at least what looks like a city.

Every passing moment he learns something new about this world, he realises the similarities that come with it; he'd genuinely thought he'd just been sent to some sort of... medieval fantasy world! But no, it just looks to be one just like his, but with magic.

'Actually...' he pondered, while still in midair and starting to fall, 'I guess my first clue should've been Ami's headband... Less magic and more mecha.' His face brightened up suddenly at the thought of other choices, 'Oh, I wonder if there's cool mechanical prosthetics!'

Geo landed on the ground, further deepening the crater he made. 'Yeah... Prosthetics are cool too.' He stated, a look of accomplishment on his face.

With a new goal set in mind, he started walking. Along the way, wondering what sort of things this city might have, and what it's powered by. Magic? Well, he'll find out soon, if he's lucky.

It wasn't much longer and a few astrocots later that Geo heard something in the bushes. Being broken out of his mindless daze, he faced the bush, him not being used enough to fighting to don a stance.

But it didn't look like it was needed, considering all that came out was one of Teora's foxes. The little guy came bouncing towards him specifically, which was odd considering how either afraid or pissed off everyone of its species was at him.

And the closer it got to him, the more he realised that he wasn't here to get pet, or out of curiosity. Geo could see the little guy shaking, and clearly showing that it was afraid. So, why had it gone all the way out, and just stood infront of him, Geo looking down at it confused?

Geo's nose picked up something from the animal. Smelling its natural smell, one that gave him the feeling of freedom in the wild, but he also caught something else.

As Geo's eyes zeroed in at something else hiding inbetween the trees that he realised what that foul stench was. It was the smell of the same wolf that had its maw opened up and a charge charging up inside it, directed straight at himself. Except there wasn't only one, there were several, some that weren't even preparing to shoot, they were just there waiting incase he attacked.

The fox finding its objective done, flew past him and hid between bushes, making as much space as he could between the two of them. Geo - knowing he had wasn't in the best situation, and not a 100% sure if he could tank the physical shots, much less the actual shots - took a page from the frightened animal and ran the opposite direction.

'Push comes to shove and I lose my way, I'll just jump up.' No harm done, he'll just have to lose 'em, or fight 'em, or a mix of both.

Geo started running, trying to zigzag between the trees to see if he could dodge the wolves' blast. Surprisingly, nothing came; but he knew they were after him from the sound of their paws hitting the ground. It was hard traversing through trees, and it was harder when he couldn't even use the trees as support, even the ground; the ground kept breaking under him.

Still, he kept trudging, the wolves somehow never catching up, their steps sounding about the same distance at constant times, not gaining, nor losing.

'I'll trick them, then.' Geo dodged left suddenly, hand on a tree as he broke it at the base of the trunk. This cut them off, and he started the other way; causing more distance between him and the city, but that was fine.

It was when he suddenly switched paths that he heard the wolves get more agitated. They howled loudly, and their speed definitely increased, them being able to catch up much faster than before. 'It was like they weren't even TRYING before!'

Geo saw a path ahead, but before he could break the trees, he saw a small group of wolves quickly come into view ahead, each of them charging up a blast. He turned back, expecting to see the same wolves as before ready to bite his ass a new one, but seeing them only to the sides. They wanted to get ahead of him?

He stopped and turned as fast as possible, even launching himself backwards so the wolves' magic wouldn't hit him and badly stun him like before. But even as he started running in the same direction - the wolves flanking him from the sides and back - he noticed that they hadn't shot him. Again.

It was starting to get annoying, especially when another wolf came hidden in the shadows, and started threatening him again with another blast. 'Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me three times...'

He called the wolf's bluff, and charged right in. An arm reeling back in the form of a punch, and his body right above the wolf.

The wolf in question? It was surprised, it hadn't at all expected him to do this, and its quick and unprepared attempt to blast off the blast in its mouth lead to it exploding in its mouth. A martyr, perhaps, but Geo was still hit, even if mostly by the fog.

His head felt dizzy and his arm felt numb, but he could've been worse. He had just enough time to at least have his arm get the brunt of the damage, the arm arm feeling like it had gone without blood for a few minutes and the blood was now rushing in. A disturbing and creepy feeling, but at least it wasn't his legs.

Geo's ears picked up on the hum of something come to life, and when the smoke of the blast dissipated, he saw a good amount of the wolves had their mouths open, the magic in their maws swelling and getting ready to blast him.

He wasn't ready to call this one a bluff, especially if all it needed was one good hit to almost take him out. Even if he was falling for their trap, the young man got on his feet as quickly as he could and ran in the opposite direction - the direction the wolves wanted him to go.

A few seconds into running and the now much bigger wolf group - around a dozen now, maybe even more - had started guiding him towards a certain spot again. He was frustrated, but what else could he do?

'Goddamnit, what do they even want from me?' He wondered, teeth gritting.

Up ahead, he could see a break in the trees, leaving out to some other sort of field. A much smaller one, this one looking like it could be habitated as well, though not by machines, at least from what he could tell. No, as he got closer and closer to the trees - hearing the wolves' footfalls getting slower and further away (which worried him a tad) - he saw a new habitat of the wolves.

Infront of him was another mountain, but this one looked like it was drilled for its materials. This face of the rock having holes in all sides of them, natural paths leading up to them but not every hole looked to be level with the path. No, it was obvious that whoever did this, did it for the minerals.

And how did he know that this was one of their dens? Maybe it was the dozens of wolves up above staring down at him, and the various that started gathering around the small field. What had just been 3 or so wolves that started chasing him became many dozens staring at him.

'I WAS setup! By wolves, of all things! Damn it, weren't wolves supposed to be primal?' He gritted his teeth harder when he realised something.

'Someone's behind this...' Then, lo and behold, a giant being came from deep within the largest cave - a cave leading down. And what came out really shocked Geo.

There it was, the boss wolf that he saw took a hit right through its head, was standing right at the opening of the cave. The place where the lighting warrior warrior hit looking to be encrusted with some sort of shiny ragged surface. Wasn't something the wolf - or anyone - did, it looks like it naturally generated. But why had ore generated over its wound like that?

The wolf roared, its one singular almost-hidden eyes glaring at it hatefully. Its fur shining pristine like light falling on a metal, which made his body seem like it was infused with whatever metal grew in these plains, or whatever had grown in that cave. The rest of the wolves didn't seem to have that, this one looked to be unique.

'Of course,' he took a step back, hearing the wolves behind him growling in threat. 'Of course a boss monster can't just be a grown-up version of its regular monster... That'd be too predictable.' He mused to himself, a little scared. There must've been something in these grounds, there were excavators and all sorts of things mining this place out, this place must've been rich with it. And now this thing took that to its advantage.

It pawed its claws in the ground, and roared once again, this time leaving its mouth open. In it, a similar blast of magic could be seen forming, but this one looked a lot more physical, and came encrusted with spikes in certain zones. He could tell even as it was forming that if that hit? It'd hurt.

And it took it hardly any time to charge, blasting off merely a second later. The battle started before Geo even had the say in, and to avoid the blast coming straight at him, he jumped into the air. His trajectory landing him in the worst possible place he could.

The wolf was already charging another of its metal blasts in its gob, and with Geo obviously not being able to dodge midair, he failed to dodge the blast that hit him pointblank. The wolf even waited for him to get closer to the ground, before shooting it straight at Geo.

At least he had his arms up in defense, the lot it did. Geo was pushed back outside the makeshift wolf ring, luckily not hitting any trees, but his body bowling against the roots and dirt of the ground.

He breathed out, hand in the ground. He was kicked out the pretend arena, and maybe now would be optimal time to escape; but he didn't even get his two feet in the ground before two wolves chomped on both of his arms and hauled him back.

When he hit the ground, he at least had the common decency of doing it with two hands in the ground, quickly pushing himself up. He rubbed his arms, feeling the large metal ball's indent on them, but he didn't feel anything crushed. But he wouldn't wanna get hit with it again.

Geo started circling the wolf, trying to feel threatening after what just happened. The wolf - after showing him who was boss - didn't argue; it had just shown the human what would happen if he dared escape, he would get chased down by the many of its species that were spectating the fight now. It was to fight, or to get hounded.

His best move right now would be to try and find some way to hurt it. Unlike the other smaller wolves, this one's magic just seemed to be completely different, it just looked to be metal. His fur too, seemed like it had attributes of that element.

'So, what? Blunt damage?' Geo flexes his arms, remembering where just today what his punch could do, even just the whiplash of the punch could do - being capable of pushing back one of the smaller wolves.

'A distract first, the punch after.' He'll just have to use what he had the most against the wolf - his speed.

A dramatic change to his slow circling, Geo immediately sped up. First a a jog that kept the wolf's head craning to meet him, but then he gradually sped up until he was a blur to be seen. He stopped circling completely and more just zagging lines from anywhere around the. When Geo finally stopped to do his move, the wolf immediately took notice, spiralling to where Geo was and preparing to tank or counterattack. But when it had already spiralled back, Geo was already infront of it, punch locked behind him and ready to punch the wolf!

'This wolf was underestimating me, thinking I'm one of the locals. No, I'll hit him, and my punch'll send it flying!' This was his thought process. Reasonable, simple, but efficient, at least in his eyes. Geo's fists reared in, aiming for the wolf's chest and feeling the whiplash of wind distribute around him, blowing his hair back, and the wolf's fur as well. Except what he hit wasn't the wolf's fur, and the wolf he attacked hadn't been sent flying either.

He was shocked, almost confused, until he looked at what the wolf had done.

Looking at the zone he punctured, he could see its chest covered in some thick sheet of metal that wasn't there before, and the same with all four of its paws - the metal around them being deeply rooted to the ground. This stunned him, and like how Geo tried taking advantage of the wolf, the wolf did the same; with its big maw about half the size of Geo's own body, it opened it up and aimed to bite his head. Off or not, he didn't know, but he wasn't about to find out.

He quickly redirected both of his hands to the beast's maw, holding it open as the beast tried putting all its body weight untop of him, trying to outclass him. Though as big as it was, Geo could still handle it, which it clearly wasn't expecting.

Still, if its physical stats weren't working, the most obvious thing to do would be to change. Inside its gaw, a hard iron-esque ball could be seen formed, intending to blast it straight at Geo's face and probably finishing him off point-blank. It was only with his hands already holding his mouth was he capable of redirecting it to the ground next to him, the ball colliding and sinking deep into the ground, dirt exploding and going everywhere in an act of particles.

It was in this smoke that Geo would find victory. Giving himself as much distance as he could without getting out of the smoke, Geo prepared himself for his next rodeo. Literally.

When the smoke cleared, what the wolves saw was their dear leader acting like a bull for the white-haired assailant - one hand gripping its fur hard, and the other rearing back.

Then, Geo landed a clear smack on the back of the wolf, the wolf actually falling down to the ground due to the hit, and probably due to the man's weight. Still, even when it had fortified its back, Geo kept hidding, indenting the metal. With surprising speed and with good force behind each hit, Geo was almost capable of breaking the metal shield around him!

'Just one more!' He thought, seeing its crack and indents. But then, the wolf started shaking was all the warning her got before a giant metal spike decked him in the face, if it weren't for his hand catching the tip. Geo got launched back, the metal not strong enough to pierce him - surprisingly - but still fast, heavy, and big enough to get him off his back.

He had landed on his back, favouring his other hand as the one he used to block got red from the pain. Truth be told, he considered himself lucky to only get pain from that, that metal's hard.

'But still... I thought it'd be a little fatal, that would've gotten probably even itself killed. Practically pointblank,' Geo thought, forming a small battle plan in his head as he got up from the ground. His entire uniform was dusty, but none of it was ripped surprisingly. Though some was getting stretched, which kinda sucked. He dusted himself off, looking nonchalant to the viewers, and to their leader.

Spikes erupted on the ground when the boss monster slammed both its claws into it. He didn't know if this was a new move it had just learned or if it was another one in its arsenal, but it was a little slow for him. As quickly as he could, he got out of the way, dashed through the spikes, landing with both feet on the side of one - cracking it - and then punching it in the middle, further breaking it; he had dashed to get in clear view of the wolf, and he threw a hunk of the spike towards it.

It was with quick reflexes that it was capable of putting its hands up in their iron defense, even though it left him blinded. When it uncrossed its mighty paws to look at Geo in the eyes, it didn't see anything at first. No, the hint to his whereabouts came with its own broken tip of a metal spike embedding itself into its back. The first thing to truly penetrate its defenses.

Really, it seems like the own monster's magic is effective against it, it being as tough as its metal hide. A good trade-off, especially if Geo could add in his own spice to really tip the scales.

Still, when Geo landed on the ground, he saw the wolf look at it with squinting eyes, even as the metal it created slowly crumbled and disappeared into light and disappeared. Something he took note of, but mainly kept his eyes on the wolf for now.

It was disappointing to Geo when the wolf didn't decide to do the attack again, and instead started charging up a metal ball in its gob. The human quickly dodged the first, the second, and it was by the third that he realised that this was the wolf's new gameplan.

'That's your new ideas? Exhaust me?' Geo scoffed. Confident in his skills to outlast the monster, even if it was a boss.

Still, Geo kept dodging, struggling at times with feet coordination, but being more than fast enough to dodge it, even when the boss monster got lucky.

It was at one point when the wolf had predicted its movement and shot ahead, that Geo had had to jump. No big deal, he could land it; he just hadn't thought that that was the wolf's plan all along. It had realised that Geo could've used its spikes against it, had he been capable of breaking it. In midair, and with no aerial movement?

The wolf struck the ground, leaving behind a trail of spikes before leaving a more durable and bigger nest below him, exactly where he'd land.

Again, he'd underestimate the wolf kins, and that brought his hands clenching hard again. 'But still, THEY underestimated me too!'

Geo probably had enough power to break any and all of the wolf's spikes with time, but he couldn't do it with one clean hit - much less without any ground. Still, he remembered how his body was capable of taking one point blank, but he had a feeling the wolf knew it too. He wasn't about to get sent to another trap.

Beyond his body being durable, he also remembered something else he was durable. Placing a hand on his jacket, he quickly zipped it and took it off, leaving him in only his dress shirt. His clothing was durable too.

He placed the jacket below him, acting as the barrier between him and the spike. He knew something was gonna happen, and he got his wish when the spike suddenly expanded, piercing his shirt but not piercing through. At least not instantly. Still, before his jacked got pierced through, it gave him enough time to bounce off and land off to the side of the clearing, somewhat tired.

When he took that quick second to take a breather, he immediately regretted it when he spotted the wolf. Its gob open as wide as possible, and inside of it was the biggest hunk of spiked metal he's seen it create. And it was directed straight at him.

Fighting this wolf... Was starting to really get on his nerves... 'If his only is its own metal, then ALRIGHT!' Geo got into position, spreading out his legs and arms. He was done pussyfooting around, he'll just have to use brute force!

When the wolf finally launched its hunk of metal, Geo took it like a champ. Trying to keep both his hands on the top and bottom of the ball, even as he tried to hold his footing. When he get near the ring of lesser wolves around him, he spun - hitting the few behind him, but that wasn't his main goal. No, he kept spinning, gaining more and more momentum, all before throwing it back at the wolf!

The wolf certainly wasn't expecting it, he had planned for the human to escape again. He had expected it getting tired; frustrated even. But not enough to not only straight-up tank his metal blast, but also throw it back at him! So surprised, it couldn't dodge and could only get its iron-lookalike defense up. A last ditch decision with how little options he had, and its own metal blast broke it immediately. The boss wolf was left dazed, vulnerable, and it clearly knew this with how hard it was trying to regain its sentences.

Geo saw this, so even with his palms red with strain and his arms still shaking from the hit, he broke a piece of the series of spikes that penetrated his jacket before they could disappear, getting one that was about the length of his arm. He prepared himself and got into a fencer pose, treating the spike like a sword.

Then, he lunged towards the wolf! His weapon getting thrusted as hard as his hand could move the second he was near the wolf. The result, was the boss wolf's face getting punctured, much like yesterday. Only this time, Geo chose the other side of its face - its unscarred eye.

The boss monster being able to survive - and function - with half its head missing was astonishing. 'But I doubt you'd be able to do it again the day before, big fella,' He watched as the wolf's thrashing stopped, and its mouth left open. It wasn't long before its last dying breath was heard, coming out in the form of an astonishingly loud wail of pain and despair.

"RRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...!"

Geo could hear all the wolves follow with it, howling in harmony with their leader's death. Alarmed, the human looked around, trying to stand on guard for if the wolves all decide to attack at once.

When the loud howl was over - probably being heard even outside the forest - the wolves didn't decide to attack him, no. Instead, they all ran away, tails between their legs as they flew out of sight.

It was probably a minute before the sounds of the wolves scurrying away finally stopped, and silence was finally erected in Geo's little space. It was only then did he breathe a sigh of relief - letting out some tension - and letting the spike out of the wolf's head. The minute he did, the spike disappeared, and it wasn't long before every metal it had erected to disappear.

Taking a quick look at the wolf, it noticed one interesting tidbit. Its entire body was white, or at least much whiter than its fur looked before. It wasn't its whole body, it was just its fur, which was also interesting. But even though his fur lost all glimmer, there was something that hadn't.

The cluster of ore in its eye seemed to glow brightly, or at least seemed to get much shinier and... fuller than it had been before. Since the human didn't have to worry about anything, at least for a while now, he decided to indulge himself for a bit.

He let his hand rest on the metal, feeling its oddly smooth texture in his palm. When he tried turning it a bit, he was surprised with how easily it came off. With just a quick yank (ouch), the ore was let out of its socket.

It was an odd thing, and looked completely magical, like there was some sort of aura around it. An almost glimmering light that he could see on it reflecting. Its shape looked liked snakes swirling in on themselves, making it had a definitely round but not spherical look.

Simply put, it was beautiful. And hard. Upon clenching it in his hands, Geo could feel that it was much harder than anything the wolf made - which was already hard enough. Seeing no reason not to, he stored the monster drop in the ruins of his hoodie, making it into some sort of makeshift pouch next to his side. Knot was a little loose, but he just did a double knot. Never failed.

Afterwards, he just unceremoniously sat on the ground, hitting his ass against the grass. He just lay there for a bit, eyes closed, and gaining some strength.

'The fight didn't take too much out of the day, even if it did take a little bit out of me,' he rubbed his hands, 'I'm sure myself wouldn't mind if I took a little break before that.'

Then, he left his back hit the ground. The forest was unnaturally quiet, which was natural considering the dying howl of the great wolf and its kin following it. It worked to his advantage, even if only for right now.

So, Geo rested. Enjoying the cool feeling of the spring breeze on his hot skin and palms.

He wondered on what would happen when he ran into the city he saw earlier. Would he see Ami again? He hoped she was safe, she hadn't really gotten to see him when he got knocked out, it'd definitely be nice to see her again.

A lone breeze flew through the clearing, breaking the peaceful quiet for a while, but it felt more like it was making room for something. Had he been in a little bit of a clearer mind, he might've heard the faraway footsteps of a couple people, but it looked that only the voice of one was enough to wake him up.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" Geo's eyes shot up, and so did his body. And then, he made eye contact with a fully armoured man many times his size, looking to have a black skintight body suit beneath all his armour golden-tinted armour, which looked to belong to some sort of royal family. Most of it looked to protect his torso and nether regions, but he could also see shoulder pads - also lined with gold - and gauntlets around the wrists. Boots were of similar fashion, going up to the ankles, but no protection for the knees or elbows.

It wasn't long before more of those showed up, one with a golden emblem core stuck in the middle of his breastplate, another with purple, and the first - the one who talked - with green.

"We've heard a large howl, we've come to investigate what might've happen. Have you..." their eyes trailed to the big wolf to his side, bigger than even them, and obviously a corpse.

"Huh. I suppose that's what happened." His eyes turned to his, suddenly squinting and looking at his body.

"Are you the reason behind this...?" He asked slowly, like it wasn't his main focus. Geo nodded, not speaking; and it looked like the guard took note of that as well, with how long the pause was.

"Your hair... It's white. Are you exhausted?"

'My hair is what?' He touched his hair, trying to get a strand of it infront of his face, but the bangs weren't big enough. When he tried harder, he got hit with an "ahem" from the same man. He reiterated the question, "are you exhausted?" He was getting suspicious of the knight-looking people, but he didn't want to get into trouble so soon after the fight. It felt like a trick question, but he still answered honestly by shaking his head no.

"Not even a little bit?"

He shrugged. It was a pretty big fight. Where was he going with this?

"When a person's magic depletes, it shows through their hair and their eyes, both becoming a notably pale colour of what their element was." Oh, that's interesting. But... why was he telling him that?

"Your hair is white, but your eyes are a simplistic black. Not matching. Unnatural." His eyes turned to slits as he took the ornate spear from behind him, the other two taking a sword and one a halberd as their main weapons.

"You're a human! Your fate will be met with the power of Queen Gwain's Royal Guard!" And then all three charged at him.

'Wait, what? No, I-' He tried crossing his arms, trying to convey "no" or "deny" or pretty much to just have them stop. But when the green emblem warrior's spear got thrusted into him - almost at the same speed as he could dodge -, he had a feeling that his words didn't have much meaning to them.

He immediately got onto his feet, only to be blasted with literal sound coming from the purple-haired's sound, he could tell from the purple hue that it was magic, but more than that he could feel it. Not only his drums ready to burst but also his body denying the element.

The human was stunned, trapped, and the other two saw no better opportunity than now to strike. They aimed at the same area, and they both dashed in - one with the spear, one with the halberd, but both doing the same manouevre.

It was their shock that it wasn't enough, the attacks barely being enough to rip holes into the man's simple shirt. It was with this - and with Geo's pained-fuelled frustration - that Geo was capable of grabbing both of the weapon by the higher shafts, and to lift up both of the men. A quick throw was capable of hitting the sound elemental, and it was a quick throw to the ground that knocked the golden emblem warrior down, earth erupting from the man's knockdown.

The one least stunned was the sound elemental, but with his hands both locked into the ground he couldn't quite lock the human in place anymore. So, as Geo made his grand escape, the man called out.

"No, halt! You won't get away with this, human!" Geo could hear his voice getting further and further away as he ran and hopped, practically bowling through some trees and breaking them. It didn't matter now, the mood from right now was completely different to his leisurely stroll of earlier today; he felt attacked, and was panicking.

He hadn't known for how long he'd been running, but the trees have long since turned into plains, and he had been running out in the open for a while now. He hadn't felt nor seen any magic, and the trail of destruction that he was leaving while running through the forest was much harder to notice now. Maybe it was the best.

While he was still running, he turned to see if he could find any hideout, and he could see to his side - the direction he was at one point trekking to before the wolves got to him - was the city. Surrounded by fortified iron-clad stone bricks that he could definitely jump over, but were still large. Inside of it, he could see a few tall buildings peeking out, but there tallest one for sure was some sort of clock tower in the middle of it all, skyrocketing past everything, except for a castle. He couldn't see much of it, but a glamorous castle could be seen that took up so much space, it could probably be considered its own village inside the modern medieval city hybrid.

He wished he could stop and look, maybe even get closer, but he couldn't. Geo kept running, not longer after finding a river that he'd spotted when he broke the treeline. He slowed down on approaching it, completely stopping at the edge of the small dip that the river had - the river being a level lower than the ground around it, surprisingly.

Like the plains around him, he could see a few mountains dotted around the landscape, somewhat breaking its monotony. Looking ahead, he saw a path - connecting to a bridge that went over the river - and saw a cliff. It wasn't steep, hell he could even see a walkway down much further away, following its edge. Seeing the small platforms of rock jutting out of the cliff, he risked it, and tried jumping to one of the larger ones that all seemed to lead to a hole inside the cliff.

Doesn't look like the worst hideout, but if he to go down carefully so he wouldn't break the platform. Hell, he wasn't even sure if his weight might just flat-out break it, he had no idea what he weighed. He didn't know his durability either, but he knew he had a lot of it. Putting his back against the cliff, he angled himself forward and jumped backwards. When he saw the wall of the cliff infront of him he, as soon as he could, embedded his hand into the cliff, aiming to slow him down. Maybe he was too heavy or maybe he wasn't doing it right, since his entire hands were engulfed inside the wall; but maybe it was luck that he eventually slowed down enough to be able to hop down onto the platform he was aiming for, trying to distribute as less of his weight as he could through out all of it.

Facing the cliff, he saw the tiny hole he had only caught a glimpse of before. A good hiding spot if he had to pick one.

'Better than out in the open...' He thought, entering the small enclosure and relaxing a bit as his back hit the rock hard wall.

His body was tired, and his mind was starting to slow down, but he still thought on what just happened. They called him out on being "human" and then immediately attacked him...

'No matter how I try to think on it, that's WAY too big a jump. Was it the wolf? But that woman shot to kill, and she looked royal...' He thought back to who saved Ami, her shooting the wolf with a beam of light the size of the index finger that it came out of.

Geo ran a hand through his hair, holding a strand between his fingers and quickly pulling it out. 'Ow,' his eyes closed with the prick, but he looked at his hair strand anyways.

Maybe in the light he could get away with thinking that the hair strand was just shining under the sun, but considering he was in the shadows? He couldn't make any excuse for the colour of his hair - it was white.

He grumbled without noise, not really sure what to make of it. He was pretty fond of his black hair, he didn't wanna look like some sort of old man with white hair. Sigh, 'it isn't like I can do much to change it... Not unless I can make hair dye with grass and water,' and for all he knew, maybe he could; he had no idea what hair dye was made out of.

Geo let his hand fall down to the side next to him, his eyes closing. It had probably only been a few hours since he woke up - around four, maybe even less - but he was exhausted. Maybe it was last night catching up to him, maybe it was the fight from before, or it could just as likely be the hour or so of running; but he couldn't help his eyes closing and darkness overcoming him.

'Maybe I'll take a better look at the city tomorrow...'

A/N: A taste of what's to come and a hint of how things'll proceed later.

Don't got much more to say right now, other than a quick retelling. Geo killed wolf, Geo is now hunted down by royal guards. Royal guards will - obviously - warn the main Gwain kingdom, and Geo will be a wanted man. Bummer.

Next chapter not already uploaded, stay tuned. I'll probably do my RWBY one first, TBH; it's been months.

P.S. No cover art for this story yet, sadly. It'll probably be like this until I decide on a whim to draw something, or someone else decides they like it enough to do something for it - in which case, thanks. Actually really sweet if someone does that.
