Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Chapter 121 is here... again! This time, Link and his friends try to bring the mysterious automation maid MAGIS to their home, but not without some complications. Enjoy!

"...and so with all that said, Sister MAGIS here is going to be living in the palace with us as a servant." Link explained to Aviel and Nemisa with the maid standing by his side.

"And... you're sure we can trust her?" Nemisa asked Link, looking over at the strange girl with a raised eyebrow. She had been the one who had battled MAGIS before, so she was rather skeptic.

Link nodded and grinned, "I think we can, right MAGIS?"

"That is affirmative. As instructed by Mother Eclipsis, I shall continue to watch over Gerudo Palace until further notice." MAGIS said bowing at the waist, "I am pleased that you are well Mistress Nemisa, you fought exponentially in our battle. You fought me with ferocity equal to that of five tigers and a single house cat that goes meow-meow."

"Uh... likewise." Nemisa said with some unease.

"Weeell I don't really get it, but I'm fine having a new friend here! Welcome to the town Sister MAGGIE!" Aviel said, running over and hugging the maid with her bird wings.

"...I am confused, is 'MAGGIE' my name now?" MAGIS asked tilting her head.

"I know you said she's unable to fight, but I'm still concerned about this..." Nemisa whispered to Link, "What exactly is it you want to do with her?"

"Well, it was something you mentioned before from your fight with her..." Link started.

"Just... who were you before ?" Nemisa spoke up during her battle with MAGIS.

"I... apologize, my memory has been depleted of that information." the maid replied.

"You can't remember who you are...?" Nemisa muttered, "That's terrible."

"A small price to pay for what Mother Eclipsis and the awesome, beautiful Meokuro have done for me." MAGIS said, "I owe a debt to the Sisterhood, so now I serve and fight on their behalf by all means necessary."

"A small price to pay? I don't know what they did for you, but being fine with losing your memories and emotions, that's a horrible way to think!" Nemisa said.

"...they are inefficient." MAGIS said, "In war, feelings and emotion are merely a burden that gets in the way of your mission. Things like empathy and fear have no place in battle. Is that not rational?"

"I've been helping Nabooru reform the rebels, and I want to do that for MAGIS as well, by helping her get back in touch with her memories and emotions." Link said.

The two watched Aviel curiously lifting up MAGIS' arms and moving them around, the Gerudo maid was just standing there with a dull expression and not even reacting to her doing so.

"Just how do you plan to even do that?" Nemisa asked.

"Remember how Aviel had amnesia for so long, and then got her memories back after being reminded of the Melody of Sky?" Link said, "I'm thinking if we can do something to jog her memories, that she can remember who she really is."

"Ah, interesting idea." Nemisa nodded.

"Oh no... so you've got amnesia too?" Aviel asked, quickly letting go of MAGIS' arms, "I'm sorry, I know what that's like myself!"

"It's quite fine, nothing to concern yourself with." MAGIS said, she tilted herself to the side and raising up a hand, "Now may I help you with anything at all Mistress Aviel?"

"..." Aviel was a little distraught at the maid's nonchalant attitude about losing her memories, but decided to leave it at that for now. She put a finger to her lips in thought, "Can you... uh, maybe make me a cherry-flavored shaved ice bowl?"

"As you wish." MAGIS said with a bow, suddenly running off.

"... ..." everyone stood there curiously for a moment, until MAGIS came running back in. She was now covered in frost, and holding a bowl of shaved ice with cherry sauce on it. She didn't even look the slightest bit tired.

"Your shaved ice, Mistress Aviel." MAGIS said bowing.

"Wowie! How convenient!" Aviel said with wide eyes, taking and gobbling up the ice, "And it's so gooood! Thank you Sister MARIA!"

"How... did you even make this so quickly?!" Nemisa asked.

"I can improvise when needed for maximum efficiency," MAGIS brought up her hand and converted it into a compact butter churning device, "I took cherries from the local market stand and used this device to convert them into a syrup topping."

"Why does she even have a butter churning device of all things...?" Link asked sweatdropping.

"Wait, where you get shaved ice from anyway? We usually get our ice from Korume, and we only just placed an order for more of it this morning." Nemisa said.

"The ice mystic Korume was unavailable at the moment, as she is speaking to Sisters Helani and Navomi in prison, so I got ice from Snowpeak Mountain to make this."

"You went all the way out there that quick?!" exclaimed Nemisa with bugged out eyes.

"It was a mere task, as expected of my job. I went to go up, up, up the mountain ahead." MAGIS said, tilting her upper torso to the side and raising up her hand, "The difficult part was escaping the wild Migoui before they could destroy me."

"You didn't have to do all that!" Nemisa said in surprise.

"It is fine, no harm was done to me." MAGIS said.

Suddenly the maid's right arm broke off and fell to the ground.

"..." Link, Aviel and Nemisa all stared at her blankly, Aviel having her spoon sticking out from her mouth.

"Oh, it would appear I sustained slight damage from them after all. My bad." MAGIS said shrugging her shoulders, "I'll have this reattached momentarily."

"I'm... at a loss for words." groaned Nemisa.

"This might be harder than I thought." Link said sweatdropping.

A few Gerudo guards were walking down the hallways of Gerudo Palace, doing patrol work to make sure everything was in order. They took time to check each door they past by.

"Looks like we're clear in this area." said the older guard.

"This feels like the third time we've been through here today." sighed out the younger guard, "We didn't used to do this kinda thing before."

"Lady Nabooru's orders; she's been stepping up security ever since that incident with the quick-change culprit who had kidnapped King Link last week."

"Guess I could understand that, someone who could make themselves look like one of our own sisters is terrifying!"

The older guard looked through one door and saw it was empty, "What I am worried about though is that rebel she and the king are allowing to live here."

"You mean that weird maid girl?"

"Yeah, they say she's harmless, but I still have trouble trusting her. We need to stay alert for any attacks she might try." nodded the older guard, she took a step forward and kicked up some dust, "Ugh, the servants really need to clean this area soon."

"Hey... do you hear something...?" asked the younger guard, as they could both hear a noise growing louder behind them.

The two guards turned to see the noise was coming from the rebel maid MAGIS, running down the hall right at them with her arms covered in a large amount of white foam.

"It's the rebel!" shouted the older guard, pulling out her halberd, "Halt, or we'll-!"

"Please make room for my task, thank you." spoke out the maid's monotonous voice; as the guard realized her hands had been converted into giant scrubbing brushes, and that she was running down the hall cleaning down everything to the left and right of her. The foam was a great amount of soap, with bubbles rising up everywhere.

The maid ran right at the two guards, forcing them to get back against the wall as she sped past them. When the foam went away, everything in the hall was sparkling clean, even the two guards and their outfits were spic and span.

"What the heck...?" asked the older guard pulling at her outfit and not seeing a spot on it, 'She cleaned everything!"

"She even washed the Moblin gore off my halberd blade! I've been trying to get that off for months!" said the young one with wide eyes.

The two guards watched as MAGIS turned the corner, leaving a trail of foam that soon resided behind her and left the hallways completely clean.

"...maybe she'll be good to have around after all." muttered the older guard.

"Yeah, she certainly cleared the area!" the younger guard said cheerfully.

Meanwhile in the dining room of the palace, Link was with Aviel and Nemisa, telling them about a number of things to see and do in Hyrule Market Town to prepare them for the trip to the castle.

"Bowling with... Bombchus?" Nemisa asked, "How the heck does that even work?"

"Well it's hard to explain, but it involves steel spike traps and a cucco." Link said.

"Now I'm even more confused." Aviel said with her eyes spiraling.

MAGIS walked into the room and stood by Link's side, "I am finished with the hallways Master Link, the war on dust bunnies has been won successfully." the maid said bowing, "Will there be any other unsightly things you need eradicated from this palace?"

"Nah, good work MAGIS. Why don't you sit down and relax with us for a bit?" Link proposed.

"I do not need to relax my posterior. Resting is inefficient for my duties as a maid." MAGIS said,

"Oh please, you need to rest once in a while." Nemisa said rolling her eyes, "If you don't you..." she groaned out a bit as she rubbed at her shoulder, "Get like me right now... damnit."

"You feeling sore Nemisa?" Link asked, bout to get up, "I can give you a rubdown if you want."'

"N-No, it's not that bad. I just... ow." Nemisa groaned reaching for her back.

"Allow me." MAGIS said, the antennae on her head started to shift as she stared at the dancer, "Beeeewwooop. Beeewooop."

"Huh?" Nemisa looked to the maid in confusion.

"My sensors indicate your body has heavy amounts of tension.. Allow me to relieve you Mistress She-Tiger, please stand by." MAGIS said, bringing up her hands in a groping motion "Rub-rub-rub."

"Hey wait, I don't need you to-" Nemisa started, but MAGIS quickly zipped over to her and started rubbing her shoulders down, "Oh, ooooh...!"

"Proceeding to back. Rub-rubby-rub..." MAGIS spoke, her fingers delicately rubbed down each joint that she detected was strained, and Nemisa seemed to be enjoying every bit of it.

"Extra tension spotted, proceeding with neutralization. Rubby-rub-rub..." MAGIS said.

"Nemisa, how bad have you been pushing yourself?" Aviel asked concerned.

"I-It's nothing, just been doing some extra training at night alone." Nemisa said as MAGIS went at her back, "I need to prepare myself for next time when... when... oh goddesses, you're good at this!"

"But of course. Now allow me to focus your lower area... Rub-a-dub-rub..." MAGIS said reaching down and gripping her soft rear end, making Nemisa jump and turn bright red.

"H-Hey, keep your hands off that!" Nemisa shouted, bashing the maid upside the head.

"Error, rubby-rub canceled!" the maid said, spinning her head around before she put a stop to it.

"Uh, why don't you take a break for now and clear your head..." Link said sweatdropping, as MAGIS was shifting herself left and right, "...or at least realign it?"

"Yeah, sit down and try a Hydromelon, they're reeeal good!" Aviel said holding up a bowl of melon slices.

"No thank you. I have no need to eat food, regardless of how reeeal good it is." MAGIS stated, "I instead sustain myself with these." she brought up one her wrists and opened a slot on it, revealing an amount of small capsules lined up inside.

"What are they?" Link asked in confusion, well as a bit alarmed that she had small slots in her body.

"These are nutrient supplements, developed by Meokuro the great and supreme engineer. I require only two of these per day in order to keep my current body composition functional." MAGIS explained.

"Huh, they don't look filling at all." Aviel said, "Do they at least have some kinda taste?"

"Indeed. They taste like grounded-up chalk." MAGIS said in her dull, monotone voice.

"WHAT? That sounds terrible!" Link exclaimed in absolute, genuine horror, taking the maid by her wrist and getting himself up, "Come on girls, we need to go out and get her some real food!"

"I understand, my husband!" Nemisa nodded standing up, she turned to her partner, "Aviel, fly out to Sovan's diner and place an emergency order for the 'King Link Special'!"

"But that takes three hours to make!" Aviel said in a panic.

"It is fine, any nutrients beyond what is necessary is a waste of time." MAGIS said, "Now if you'll excuse me, I shall go see to any tasks Mistress Nabooru has for me." the three could only watch as the maid left out of the room.

"Ugh... She's great at massage, but that woman tires me out just by watching her." Nemisa said.

"It was one thing for me to lose my memories, but it sounds like she lost so much more; her emotions, her feelings..." Aviel said sadly, "And she cares about nothing but her maid job."

"Yeah, I can't imagine someone living their life like she does..." Link said, "Devoting yourself solely to the sake of duty... not being able to enjoy even the simplest pleasures of life..."

The young king closed his eyes as he thought about his experience in the dark future, where he had to hear the final parting words of his dear friends after they had been awakened as sages, fated to spend their lives separated from him and the wonderful world they had saved...

"Living a life like that, is something I'd never wish on anyone..."

Aviel and Nemisa both exchanged a sad glance, having a feeling they knew just what he was talking about. Even after all he had done to prevent the dark future, he could never truly let go of what he went through in that time...

"I'm gonna go try and talk with Sister MARTHA, maybe I could do something to help her out." Aviel said, getting up and going off after the maid.

"It would probably would help more if she could remember her name," Nemisa said sweatdropping, "How about you Link, you going to be okay?"

"Yeah, I think I just need something to occupy myself with." Link said getting up, "Maybe I'll go to the training yard, or see if Nabooru or Halei want me to run an errand for them..."

"...honestly, I think if anything you need to take a little time to ease your mind." Nemsia took Link's hand and smiled warmly, "Come my love, I want to show you something, in private."

"Huh?"

Meanwhile Link was in his bedroom, laying back on his bed of pillows. Standing before him was Nemisa dressed in her dancer's outfit. He noted rather than the jewelry she normally wore when she was Madame Scarlet, she was instead wearing the Four Bracelet bands on her wrists and legs.

"Okay, so now what?" Link asked, "What'd you want to show me?"

"Patience, my love..." Nemisa snapped her fingers over her head, "...and behold as I Madame Scarlet, red goddess of the dance, demonstrate a new ability of mine, and use it to captivate and enlighten your very soul!"

She began with a few steps forward before doing a twirl and rose a leg into the air. She shook her hips and did a few twirls, her arms gracefully swaying through the air and along her body, showing off the parts she knew from experience drove Link wild.

"Damn..." Link muttered to himself, he was always astonished at the dances Nemisa composed and performed herself.

As her dance continued, she turned and gave Link a gentle wink. Bringing up her right arm, the green jewel on that arm's brace gave off a bright flash of light. When Link's vision focused again, he was astonished by what he saw.

"Well, well, hello there my love."

Standing beside Nemisa was a strange new woman who appeared to look exactly like her, but with the significant difference of her silk dancer's clothes being colored a vibrant green instead of red. What was even more surprising was the bright, almost giddy smile on her face.

"Woah!" Link spoke in astonishment.

The red Nemisa and the green one joined hands and resumed their dancing, they moved I perfect sync with one another, the green-clothed Nemisa spun out as the red one held her hand, before twirling right back to her and falling back into the arms of the red one.

"So this is the power of the Four Bracelet!" Link said clapping, "What's the green you exactly? Is she a illusion or something?"

The green clothed Nemisa stepped up and giggled, "Oh come on now Link, we've known each other for three years now. Though I guess 'Remisa' doesn't really show me a whole lot..." she jumped on Link's lap and hugged him tightly, "...but I'm glad to finally talk to you like this!"

"This is so strange..." Link said as the green girl was holding him affectionately, "You're not pulling a fast one on me right? You sure you don't have a long lost twin?"

"No, I don't have a blood sister dumbass!" Nemisa suddenly snapped, surprising Link. She took a breath and said, "S-Sorry about that. This is one of my... shall we say, other 'selves'." she lifted up the arm band of the golden bracelet with the green jewel on it, "The Four Bracelet gives me the ability to separate my body into up to four individual 'selves' that share my thoughts and abilities."

"That's amazing!" Link said, he looked to the girl hugging him, "But why's this other you so..." he paused, "Uh, no offense but... happier than you usually are?"

"Well if you must know, from what I've seen in my training with the Four Bracelet, the more 'selves' you produce with it, the more it can divide up one's personality." the red dancer explained.

The green self nodded, "That right, I'm 'Gemisa', I was created from most of Nemisa's happiness!"

"I guess that would explain why you're a little more moody than usual." Link bluntly said to Nemisa.

"You don't have to point it out!" Nemisa shouted angerly.

"She calls me 'Gemisa' to tell me apart from the others, cause I'm green." Gemisa pointed to her outfit, "Me and the others all call her 'Remisa' cause she's red!"

Link was astonished by this new power Nemisa held. From what she had told him about her fight with MAGIS, having multiple 'selves' allowed her a greater range of offensive and evasive attack strategies, including being able to read each other's thoughts when they were close enough to each other. She had also said the Bracelets held up far better than her steel bands once did for defense tactics. He wondered just where a mystical power like that could have even came from...

"You didn't want to see how weird she was when I first tried out this bracelet's power." Nemisa said rolling her eyes, "It's only because I've been training with it more that she's mellowed out a bit."

"I see... well it's nice to get to meet you like this... 'Gemisa'." Link sported a warm grin, "I love Nemisa as she is normally, but I've always figured there was someone like you inside of her."

"Aww, thank you Link...!" Gemisa said with a gentle smile, hugging him around his chest, "I couldn't help but be smitten with you back when you saved us from that Slicer assassin's attack! No matter how much Nemisa tried to hide me back, I just knew she wanted to be with you someday!"

"S-Shut your mouth Gemisa..." grumbled Nemisa. Link blushed at this confession, looking up to see Nemisa folding her arms and looking away with a grumpy pout.

As he felt Gemisa pressing against him, he wondered if she was a complete copy of Nemisa and decided to check. His hand trailed down to grope her rear end, and sure enough it was as round and soft as he knew Nemisa to have.

"Eep!" Gemisa squeaked out, she sported a small, good-natured smile with a heavy blush on her face, "Hey now, hands off there you perv!"

"W-Why you shameless...!" Nemisa exclaimed, putting her hands over her own rear, despite Link not even touching her, "Watch where you're touching! One of the side effects of the bracelet is each copy feels the same sensations as the others!"

"...oh really now?" Link spoke with a knowing grin, as he started rubbing Gemisa's butt a little more, as well as trailing a hand along her soft thigh.

"Ah, oooh...!" Gemisa moaned out with a flushed face, and Nemisa was clearly feeling the same way, though she was trying way harder to hide it.

"I said s-stop that you perverted m-moron!" Nemisa shouted, clutching at a table to keep her balance as her legs were shaking from Link's skilled touch.

"Alright, I'll stop... for now." he chuckled, "So just what are your other selves like?"

"Yeah! Show em both off Remisa!" Gemisa cheered out.

"Ugh, fine... just don't be surprised if I get more snappy, got it?" Nemisa said, as she activated the blue and purple bands she wore on her legs.

In two more flashes of light, Link saw two more Nemisas before him. Like Gemisa, they looked almost the same, except with different colored outfits. The first one was in blue and looking shy and downcast, while the other was wearing a deep purple and giving Link a sharp stare.

"This... is 'Bemisa' and 'Pemisa'." Nemisa said, looking clearly more irritated than before, "Just say 'hi' or whatever already!"

"D-Don't yell... I hate when she yells." sniffled Bemisa, "Then again, I probably did something to make her mad again." she looked to the young king and spoke in a small voice, "hi link."

"Uh, hi... so I'm going to guess you were created from Nemisa's sorrow and shyness?" Link asked.

"I-Is it that obvious? I'm sorry if I bring down the room... " Bemisa said, staring downwards and folding her arms behind her, timidly rubbing her toes together. He had to admit despite how down on herself she was, seeing Nemisa pout like that was unbearably cute for Link. She mentioned once that she like this more back when she was growing up.

"It's going to take a while for me to get used to this damn Bracelet's power. But hopefully I can use it to take down those bastard Elite Rebels that beat us before." Nemisa clenched her fists and punched the table in half with her fist, "Graaaaah! Just thinking about that wrestler woman that beat me back during the attack on the town freaking pisses me off!"

"Lady Nabooru's probably gonna make you pay for that table Remisa." Gemisa pointed out cheerfully, which irritated Nemisa so much she punched a hole in a wall, "And that too!"

"This probably all my fault somehow... I'm so sorry!" Bemisa sobbed, she ran forward to try and stop Nemisa, but ended up tripping over a pillow and falling right onto Link, "Ack, I'm sorry again Link! P-Please don't be mad at me...!"

"Aw it's okay Bemisa, he doesn't mind." Gemisa laughed lightly, holding Bemisa close, "Right Link?"

This was such a surreal experience for Link, he was used to see Kesuta and Koruem as twins, but now he was seeing Nemisa as triplets, and all of them so different.

As fascinating as it was though, he was concerned for her mental state using power like this. She seemed to be perfectly normal over the past few days despite her training with it, so maybe it didn't have any long-lasting side-effects...?

Regardless, Link smiled warmly at Bemisa and took her by her chin, "Of course, I know you're each a part of Nemisa, and I love each of you as a whole." as he pulled her into a deep kiss.

Bemisa's face flushed a bright red from being kissed, Gemisa found herself puckering her own lips with dazzling eyes, and even Nemisa herself being almost pure anger at that point was feeling blissful sensations from the kiss. He thought he heard a quiet but deep moaning from behind him as well.

"T-That was..." Bemisa stammered, but she looked downcast, "W-Why do you have to be so nice to me Link...? I thought someone as depressed or 'damaged' like me would be too overbearing for you..."

"It's okay, I know what grief you've been through in your life." Link said, rubbing the top of Bemisa's head to comfort her, "That sort of pain can't just be shrugged off. I don't expect you to be any different than who you are."

"...t-thank you..." Bemisa said, giving him a very small but sweet smile that made his heart melt.

It was from that Link came to the conclusion that while the Four Bracelet did split Nemisa's emotions, each one of them still retained at least some traces of the other 'selves', which somewhat quelled his fears about it affecting her personality. Maybe it had something to do with their mind reading ability...?

What Link felt was even more terrifying than even something like death was the idea of a person losing their sense of 'self', and becoming something completely different from what they were. At least in death one's soul hangs onto their emotions, feelings and personality. But losing one's sense of self was essentially wiping everything that made them who they were out of existence...

Hee found himself thinking about a certain maid who was now living with them, and Aviel's comments about her...

"Oh no... am I making you sad again?" Bemisa asked with small tears in her eyes.

"Yeah, what're you crying for Link?" Gemisa asked curiously, running a hand through his hair.

"Huh...?" Link spoke, realizing there were now tears going down his face.

"Oh you poor thing, this whole thing with MAGIS really is bothering you badly, isn't it?" Nemisa herself said picking up on his grief. She kneeled down and ran a hand along his cheek gently. The compassionate look in her eyes was a significant contrast from how angry she was before, which assured him that no matter what the Four Bracelet's power did, she would always be the same person.

Link heart swelled a bit as he reached out and took Nemisa by the hip, pulling her into the pile and giving her a firm kiss on the lips that caused her to turn a brighter red than her outfit. Gemisa chuckled while Bemisa covered her face in embarrassment.

"H-Hey now, watch yourself!" Nemisa shouted out, lightly bonking him upside the head.

"Sorry Nemisa, couldn't help myself." Link grinned as he took a look around, "So if green is joy, red is anger, and blue is sorrow... then what about the purple one?" he asked, realizing the one named 'Pemisa' was nowhere to be seen.

"Uh, about that..." Nemisa trailed off.

"Well, well, well... I've been waiting so long for this chance..." spoke a sultry voice, as the purple Nemisa came up from behind Link, pushing away Nemisa's other selves and wrapped her arms around his upper body, "Remisa keeps me locked up sooOOooOOo tightly when we're not in bed with you..." she moaned out lustfully as she nibbled at Link's ear, "And I just can't contain myself as I am now...!"

"Don't tell me, Pemisa is your lewdness, huh?" Link asked Nemisa with a grin.

"Gee, you think?" Nemisa muttered in annoyance.

"Mmm-hmm-hm..." Pemisa started kissing at Link in various places from behind, "Remisa won't admit it, but she's been so jealous of all the time you've been spending with those child-bearers of yours, doting over and making hot passionate love to them all..."

"Hey, I didn't-!" Nemisa started, but her purple self put a finger over her lips to silence her.

Pemisa ran her hand along Link's chest and kissed at his neck, "She won't admit it, but she wants sooOoOo badly to be in their place... becoming big and pregnant with your children... to feel you make love to her constantly..." she slipped off her top and rubbed her bare breasts against Link's back, "And to feel these breasts of ours grow soOOoo big that they'll overflow in your hands as you grope them..."

"Shut UP Pemisa...!" Nemisa scowled in annoyance, "And leave Link alone already!"

"But our beloved husband is enjoying it so much, seeeee?" Pemisa grinned lewdly as she pulled a pillow away from Link's crotch area, showing he was at 'full attention' now, making Nemisa, Gemisa and Bemisa's faces all turn a bright red.

"Oh boy." Link sweatdropped.

"Oooh, I like where this is going!" Gemisa said.

"I think we all need to help him deal with the burdens he's put on himself..." Pemisa suggested, "Come on girls, let's have some fun with our handsome king..." she purred, taking Bemisa by the arm and pulling her towards Link.

"T-That's..." Bemisa looked away with a heavy blush, "O-Okay... as long as I don't get in the way..."

"Yeah... that sounds great!" Gemisa said, taking Nemisa by her arm as the four girls all gathered around Link, "Come on Remisa, it'll be like every other time we've slept with him, just with four times the fun!"

"If... if you insist..." Nemsia muttered, "But remember we aren't having kids yet! As soon as we're done here we're joining back together and taking a black chu capsule!"

"Hmph, spoil sport." shrugged Pemisa, "We all know how badly you want it, no matter how much you deny yourself."

"Denying yourself..." Link whispered, looking upwards for a moment, before he suddenly felt Nemisa shove Gemisa at him.

"Ugh, whatever, let's just do this!" Nemisa said in annoyance.

"Looks like your bracelet is going to be for a lot more than just dancing and battle." Link grinned, pulling all four of his lovely wives' 'selves' into his arm.

And the five of them started to share a wonderful time together...

...but they were all unaware that a certain figure had been watching them up until that point...

MAGIS quietly stepped away from the door to Link's bedroom. She had just came over there to observe Link, only to also see Nemisa demonstrating the power of her new bracelet to him, and wound up hearing the conversation they had been having.

"Observation data accumulated." MAGIS spoke, the antennae on her head shifting around, "It appears Mistress Nemisa is not fully adapt at the power of the Four Bracelet."

She went back to walking down the halls, carefully scanning every inch of the palace for dirt or out-of-place objects. As she did, she found herself thinking about something Link said in his bedroom...

"It's okay, I know what grief you've been through in your life. That sort of pain can't just be shrugged off. I don't expect you to be any different than who you are."

"..." the maid stared down at the ground for a moment, but then she heard a loud smashing sound. She snapped out of her thoughts and went to go check it out.

When she tracked down the sound, MAGIS saw it had been caused by Aviel, who had crashed into some potted plants and knocked over a large amount of dirt in the process. A guard was standing by her tapping her foot and glaring at the young lady crossly.

"Smooth move Birdbrain." the guard said, "Didn't we tell you not to fly around the palace like that?"

"Ayeayeayeaye..." Aviel swayed around dizzy with her eyes spiraling. She had been too focused on trying to find out where MAGIS had gone off to that she banged her head into an archway and crashed to the ground into some pots. She had been trying to ask a few guards where the maid was...

"Sorry about that, I was looking for someone. Have you seen Sister MAISY around here?"

"Who the hell is Maisy?" the guard said in annoyance.

...but no one knew just who Aviel was asking about, sending her on a wild goose chase.

As the guard left Aviel to deal with the potted plant herself, MAGIS came right up to the bird girl.

"So that noise was you Mistress Aviel." MAGIS spoke, "Like a wave impacting into rocks, both meet the same fate, CRASSSH!"

"Uh, sure?" Aviel said rubbing the back of her head, "Don't worry, I'll get it clean this up right away!"

"Please, allow me to take care of it." MAGIS said, converting her arms into a small broom and dustpan, then started to sweep up the dirt.

"But I was the one to..."

"It is fine Mistress Birdbrain, I live to serve." MAGIS simply said.

"Great, now even she's calling me that." Aviel sighed. She stared down at the maid as she cleaned the dirt, before squatting down and leaning her arms on her knees, giving MAGIS her biggest smile, asking, "So Sister MAGGIE... can you maybe tell me a little about yourself?"

MAGS nodded as she was cleaning, "Yes, I am five feet six inches tall, I weigh approximately two hundred and sixty seven pounds with my automation parts, my hair is red, and my eyes are goldenrod colored. As for body measurements my breasts are seventy nine centimeters, my waist..."

"No, no, no!" Aviel said waving her arms, "Not that, I mean I wanna know more about you personally! I wanna know what you used to do before you joined with the rebellion!"

"Checking... ...error. I don't not have that information." MAGIS said bowing her head politely, unwittingly getting dirt in her hair as she did, "That was lost when my body was modified into what I am today, my bad."

"Aw, come on, there's gotta be something you remember!" Aviel said with a pout, using her wings to sweep the dirt out of MAGIS' hair, "What about your favorite food? What games you would play? Your family?"

"I apologize, but I'm afraid I do not-"

"Then what about anyone you love?" Aviel asked.

"..." MAGIS stopped in her cleaning, kneeling at the ground motionless and staring at the dirt pile.

"MILLIE?" Aviel asked, waving a hand in front of her face.

"...my bad, but I do not have such information..." the maid shook her head and continued her work.

"I-I'm sorry, it's just... not remembering anything about yourself, that's so sad..." Aviel said with small tears in her eyes.

"It's quite fine, memories of the past are inefficient." MAGIS said, "They do nothing but burden your present tasks."

"...I dunno, I don't like thinking that way..." Aviel said looking downcast.

"...?" MAGIS tilted her head.

"I can understand thinking about the present, but your past memories are important too!" Aviel said, "For years I had forgotten a really important time in my life, and I felt a big gaping hole in my head all that time. I wanted so much to remember what happened to my Mama and Papa, and where I had gotten these wings from..." she ran her hand along the feathers on her forearms with a reminiscent look in her eyes, "While some of those memories were really painful for me to get back, it hurt even worse for me to forget them."

"..." MAGIS continued to remain silent as she stared down silently at Aviel.

"You should never want to forget your past, because it's part of who you were, and why you're the person you are now!" Aviel said.

"... … ...my past..." spoke MAGIS, she turned her head away from Aviel, "...is an inefficient aspect of myself. Even if I could remember, it would serve me no practical purpose in my duties as a maid, which I have devoted myself entirely to."

"But, what about your true self?" Aviel asked.

"This... is my true self, the one that I have chosen to become." MAGIS spoke, "...now please, leave me to this task."

Aviel sighed out in defeat and started to walk down the hallway back to the dining room. But as MAGIS was sweeping up the dirt, she noticed it shifted a little, and she looked at it curiously. As she moved the dirt aside, she saw something in it, and her eyes widened.

"E-EEYYAAAAAHHHH!"

"Huh?" Aviel looked behind her to see MAGIS had fallen backwards on her rear, and was shaking in fear with her pupils sunken in. The bird girl gasped out and ran right over to the maid's side, "Hey, what's the matter?"

"It was... it was a freaking...!" MAGIS trembled in a strange voice, but then stopped herself and looked up Aviel for a moment, before she cleared her throat and stood back up calmly,

"It was nothing, my bad." she spoke in her monotone voice, before she went back to cleaning.

"O-Okay..." Aviel spoke. She took one last look back at MAGIS before going off on her way.

MAGIS meanwhile stared down at the dirt on the ground, putting a hand up to her forehead, shaking her head to clear her thoughts and going back to cleaning up the mess.

Some time later in the night, MAGIS had finished cleaning up the potted dirt. She was back to walking down the halls of the palace, trying to concentrate on observing the palace for anything work to be done, but she kept thinking about what had happened earlier.

"Why did I react like that...?" MAGIS muttered.

"Hey MARGIE!" spoke a voice. The maid spun around to see Aviel again standing there. She was now holding a toothbrush and wearing light green pajamas, "Something up?"

The maid paused and looked up at the ceiling, "No, I see nothing that needs to be cleaned upwards."

"Ugh, never mind." Aviel said rolling her eyes, "Hey, I was just about to go to bed with Link tonight, didya wanna have a sleepover with us? I would had brought Nemisa but I guess she's out at the club."

MAGIS shook her head, "I do not sleep or rest, it-"

"Yeah, yeah, it's inefficient as a maid or whatever, blah blah blah. So what?" shrugged Aviel, she took the maid's hand and started to pull her off to Link's room, "Let's just go! It'll be fun!"

"I told you Mistress Aviel, I find no practicality in-"

"Liiiiiink! Me and MAVIS are here for a sleepover!" Aviel burst into Link's room with a big smile, only to see it was empty.

"It appears Master Link isn't here." the maid said, "Could he be out with Mistress She-Tiger?"

"No that's not it, he would had told us." Aviel said frowning, "If he's not here at this hour he's probably gone off to see... her."

"Her?" MAGIS asked, noticing the sad look in Aviel's eyes.

"Come on, I'll introduce you." Aviel said, taking MAGIS' hand and escorting her off.

Aviel took MAGIS to one particular room of the palace that the maid had never got the chance to see for herself, and it was there they saw Link alongside a nurse.

"So how's she doing at this point?" Link asked the nurse, staring down at a sleeping woman. Whoever it was, MAGIS noted she was fast asleep and was very visibly pregnant.

"Still in a coma I'm afraid, my king." sighed the nurse sadly, "It's been a little more than a week since she fainted, and she's well past-due for giving birth. Dr. Sarami's worried about her being in this state for much longer..."

"I see..." Link whispered staring down at the woman. He placed a hand on her belly, feeling kicking motion from within.

"Hey Link." Aviel spoke up. She walked over to Link and leaned against him, looking down at the woman, "Checkin' up on her again?"

"Yeah..." Link whispered as he held the sleeping woman's hand.

MAGIS walked up beside Link and Aviel, staring down at the woman, "Master Link, who is this?"

"This is Esolu, she's one of my first child-bearers." Link said, "She saved me some time ago... after I thought I had lost her forever. Now she's in a coma, and she hasn't been able to give birth."

"I see." the maid spoke, noting the woman was clenching something in her other hand.

"Poor Esolu... she's been through so much..." Aviel said with tears in her eyes.

Link silently glanced over at the maid as she stared down at the woman as well, and a thought occurred to him to bring up in that moment.

"MAGIS, tell me something... back when the Ebony Sisterhood took over Gerudo Town, you were put in charge of the palace. According to Leivuri and Ragome, you had been ordered to have them killed along with my children." Link stated before asking her, "Why didn't you follow through with it?"

"... ..." MAGIS said nothing for a moment, seeming to be lost in thought,

"These are... his children, are they not?" Mother Eclipsis asked.

"We believe so Mother." a rebel nodded, "This is the room of the false king's royal child-bearers."

"Mother, what shall we do with them?" MAGIS asked.

"...see to it that they are all properly disposed of." Mother Eclipsis spoke,

MAGIS stared at Mother Eclipsis as she spoke those words, taking a slight glance over at the cowering and crying women, and in particular the children Leivuri held.

"Sister MAGIS, I'll leave them for you and Jousak to deal with." Mother Eclipsis said, "You know what must be done here."

"Affirmative Mother Eclipsis." MAGIS said with a bow.

"..." the maid said nothing at first, but continued to stare down at Esolu.

"MAGGEY, what is it?" Aviel asked.

"...I believe there may have been a slight error in my comprehension of Mother Eclipsis' commands." MAGIS finally spoke, "I am capable of multiple forms of pregnancy treatment, from massaging to nutrition to even assisting with the birthing process. Mother Eclipsis ordered me to have the child-bearers 'dealt' with, so I mistakenly thought I was to make sure they were comfortable and healthy during that time. It was a slight communication error on my part."

"Hm, is that really all it was I wonder...?" Link asked skeptically.

"..." MAGIS just looked away from Link silently.

Link sighed, "Well in any case, do you think there's anything you can do to help figure out what's wrong with Esolu here? You were able to detect Nemisa's tension earlier and know she needed a massage, and while I've had doctors and mystics both check on Esolu's condition, I thought maybe you might be able to give us a little more information about her situation."

"Yeah, maybe you can make her better!" Aviel said.

"As you wish Master." MAGIS bowed, shifting over to Esolu, "Now analyzing patient... beooweep, beeeoooweep." she spoke out as the antennae on the side of her head shifted.

"Uh, is she okay?" the nurse asked worriedly.

"Just give her some time." Link assured her.

"Beeooweeep, beeooweep..." MAGIS muttered, until she suddenly gasped and her eyes widened, "...!"

"MAGIS?" Link asked.

"...I-I seem to be experiencing more errors." the maid said, putting a hand to her forehead, as her antennae were shifting around, "I... am unable to preform a proper diagnostic of the patient's condition as of right now. My bad."

"...no, don't worry about it. Thanks for the effort though." Link said.

"Come on to bed Link, I'll help you feel better." Aviel said tugging his arm.

"Sorry Aviel, but I'm not really feeling in the mood for anymore love-making tonight," Link sighed.

"It's okay, we can just cuddle together." Aviel put on her best smile, hugging Link tightly.

"...you know, I think I'd like that." Link smiled softly.

As the bird girl went off on her way, Link turned back to Esolu and took her free hand, squeezing it tightly,

"Stay strong, okay Esolu? For you... and our child." he gave Esolu a gentle kiss on the lips.

"..." MAGIS stared at her master's affections for the sleeping women, but said nothing. She simply followed Link and Aviel out of the room, but not before taking one last look at the woman and her pregnant stomach, lost in thought,

'Just what is this error I'm sensing...?'

And that ends this chapter, next time Link, Aviel and Nemisa decide to bring MAGIS out into town to meet the residents. Will things so smoothly or will complications arise? Find out next time!

Okay guys, I'm sorry this took so long to bring back, but besides going through some personal problems, Ive been facing some writers block with this particular arc. At times I kinda regret trying to bring 'MAGIS' to the story the way I did, and felt there needed some rewrites. It's taken time, but I'm far more satisfied with where I'm taking the plot now.

You may have noticed numerous changes to this chapter, like more of a focus on Aviel, and there's a reason for that. I also decided to do a better job introducing Nemisa's other selves for the future, which tied in nicely to MAGIS' lack of emotions.
