Two interdimensional entities stood side by side on a raised platform within a Pocket Dimension which contained a theater. The theater resembled a vintage movie theater with rows of red cloth covered seats and a giant screen in the foreground. The walls of the theater were pale yellow, and the carpet covered floor was midnight blue.
The entities who stood in front of the screen differed in appearance. The first was a doppelganger of Alastor the Radio Demon except he wore an Imperial purple suit, had bleach white hair and wore a pair of Pince-nez glasses. The name of this entity was Z and he was grinning mischievously. The second entity who stood next to Z looked like Beyonder but differed by the fact he was golden skinned and wore a plain black suit. The name of this entity was D. D had a stoic look on his face as he had his arms folded behind his back.
"It is time to summon the watchers." D said.
"Oh, joy! I can't wait for them to see this universe!" Z excitedly said.
"Try not to scare our guests when they arrive." D told Z.
"No promises." Z snipped before pausing, "Say, why are we showing them this, again?"
"They will have to learn from this horrific universe because of the seeds of corruption in their worlds. A wise man once said, ``When your neighbor's house is on fire, wet yours."
"Well, whatever you say, Dee-Dee." Z replied with a shrug, putting his hands up.
"Let's summon them." D said.
A bright flash of light appeared and when it disappeared the seats of the theater were filled. The audience was diverse, filled with people of different genders, races, ages, occupations and philosophies. Disorder reigned as the newly arrived audience erupted into panic and confusion.
"Who are you!"
"Where am I!"
"I'm hungry!"
"What are you doing here!"
Seeing the chaos unfold in front of them Z and D decided to intervene. Z slammed his cane down on the floor, sending a wave of energy that sent everyone off their feet or for the less fortunate ones into the wall.
"That was a tad bit excessive but effective." D told Z.
"Hey, you don't get a crowd by being nice." Z shrugged.
"Now allow us to introduce ourselves. I am known as D." D introduced himself.
"And I'm Z." Z made a peace sign with his fingers.
The audience took a few moments to process the information.
"I don't give a damn who you are! Return me to my office immediately!" Fleet Admiral Sakazuki roared.
"I agree with this human, bring me back to Hueco Mundo!" Grimmjow demanded.
"I won't be as brazen and impolite as those two but we have important matters to deal with back home." Ozpin said.
"We understand your concerns but do not fret. Your worlds are frozen in time for the duration of this activity." D said.
Suffice to say the audience was stunned by this revelation. Some of the more experienced audience members grew wary while the younger and less experienced audience members became fearful. However, the silence was broken by Sakazuki.
"Bullshit!" Sakazuki shouted. "I will not be made a fool by believing such nonsense!"
Sakazuki tried to activate his Devil Fruit, the Mag Mag Fruit but suddenly discovered that he couldn't.
This did not go unnoticed.
"What did you do?" Sakazuki demanded.
Sakazuki's Marine subordinates tried to activate their Devil Fruit powers and or Haki but nothing happened. The Straw Hats did the same to the same result soon the other members of the audience tried to access their powers only for nothing to happen. Those armed with weapons also found their weapons gone.
"Now I am sure you realized that you cannot use your powers here nor have possession of your weapons. It's because we took the liberty of nullifying your powers and removing your weapons to prevent fighting and destruction." D explained.
"Meaning, you can't do anything to us, but we can do all sorts of things to you." Z grinned mischievously.
Everyone murmured as they took in what D said. It was clear that D and Z were powerful if they were able to summon them and cancel their powers. Silence descended in the theater and no one was willing to do anything out of fear and caution. Eventually someone decided to ask a question.
"Excuse me, I have a question." Superman said while standing.
"Yes Superman?" D acknowledged Superman.
"For what purpose have you brought us here?" Superman asked.
"We are going to show you an alternate universe." D said.
"Though be warned, what you are about to see might be disturbing for some people but it is necessary that you learn from this universe because your worlds share similar factors." D ominously concluded.
"Let's do this!" Z cheered as he turned the screen on.
