Lena watched from her spot on the sofa as Kara quietly spoke on the phone in low murmurs to her sister. They had left separately from the Center with the promise of meeting back up later that evening for dinner. The food should be here any minute according to the delivery app she kept a watchful eye on. She took a sip of wine and decided to go ahead and queue up a movie for them so it was ready when Kara finished with her phone call.

She pulled the throw blanket up over her shoulders a bit more, the night air from the open balcony was cooling off rapidly and there was a prominent breeze that kept whipping through the drafty loft making her teeth chatter slightly ever so often. As soon as the thought occurred she couldn't help the gentle clatter of her teeth as she did her best to snuggle more into the side of the couch. Kara's voice stopped and when she looked over at her, she had a frown on her face and mouthed 'sorry' closing the balcony door and Lena was silently relieved and felt herself relax as the night air no longer felt like it was penetrating her bones.

She smiled when she scrolled through Kara's watch history at all the movies they had recently seen over the past several weeks. It wasn't at all surprising to see it consisted of mostly family friendly shows, nothing overly dramatic, not a single horror movie or anything graphic in nature. She found a decent looking comedy that she hadn't seen and settled in for a long night.

She glanced over in Kara's direction, curious if her conversation would be coming to an end soon and watched Kara as she paced along the balcony from her spot in the living room. She was shaking her head and thrusting her hand out as she spoke to Alex, looking upset about something. Only garbled distorted tones reaching her own ears leaving her at a loss as to why she looked so put out. It wasn't long until Kara walked inside, shutting the balcony door behind her. She plopped down, sitting heavily into the couch with a long drawn out sigh.

"Everything alright?" Lena set the remote down and shifted in her spot tucking her knees up comfortably into her arms. Kara rested her head on the back of the sofa, her eyes closed and she nodded. Her features were relaxed if not a bit weary from the long day and possibly from the conversation she had with her sister.

"Yeah, Alex is being extra right now. She's insisting I go in for a follow up to be sure I'm fully recovered." Kara threw her hands out and groaned. "It's such an annoying part of getting hurt, she gets so overprotective and bossy."

"Alex, former Director of the DEO, big sister to Supergirl, bossy?" Lena tilted her head and smirked at the rather obvious character trait.

Kara nodded enthusiastically, her eyes still closed. "Yes! And she's the one with her arm in a sling taking antibiotics so that infection doesn't set in, and will be having to do physical therapy for who knows how long. I'm not the one she should be concerned with."

She unfurled herself from her current position and looked at Kara sympathetically, unsure what to say that would help. She could understand where Alex was coming from and if she was honest she was also holding onto certain worries for Kara's well being. She did get hit full blast with over a dozen energy cannons and even though she seemed fine all day today, she could understand Alex's worry and reasons for wanting to check her out again. "I'm sorry." She complied in the end, knowing that all Kara really needed was a sounding board and she was happy to be that for her in the moment.

Kara rolled her head over to the side and smiled up at her, lighting Lena's insides up with a gentle warm glow. "Thanks, I just wish she'd show the same care and concern for herself."

"I'm sure she's just worried… you did get hit pretty hard." She pointed out. She hesitated for a second, then tucked a strand of curly hair behind Kara's ear and felt a little thrill in being able to do so, her stomach doing a little leap when Kara leaned into the touch. "How are you feeling?" She probed gently.

Kara groaned and rubbed her face. "I feel fine! I mean, yeah I get it's only been a couple days, but they've been sunny and my body recovers quickly." Kara sighed, feeling frustrated.

Lena pulled back slightly unused to the edge in Kara's voice. "I wasn't trying to pile on." Lena said regretfully.

Kara straightened and turned to her looking instantly remorseful. "No, Rao, I'm so sorry, you weren't. I'm not frustrated with you, not at all. I'm just feeling a little agitated and it's been a long day." She sat up a little straighter and pulled Lena close to her, grateful that Lena seemed to melt into her side and not recoil after her unfair outburst. "I just don't want to have to spend a whole day at the tower getting poked and prodded, when she's the one who needs to rest and take it easy."

"I understand, and you know your body and its limits better than I ever could, but that doesn't prevent me from worrying." Lena said softly, her hand finding a resting place on Kara's stomach.

Kara wrapped her arms around Lena a little tighter, kissing her lightly on the top of her head. "I know, and thank you. I really do feel fine." She assured and felt Lena relax a little more into her side. "It's kind of nice that you worry."

"Same goes for Alex." Lena said softly. Kara chewed on her upper lip as she let Lena's words rest in the silence between them. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath before releasing it slowly. "I know. You're right. Maybe I'm being too hard on her."

"I think you are both trying to look after each other in the only ways you know how and in times like this where both of you are dealing with the aftermath of a rather stressful event…it's hard not to bump heads a little." Lena nestled a little closer to Kara enjoying the new level of intimacy that they were just starting to explore. To be able to share her thoughts and opinions on things she felt she had lost the right to have an opinion on was like being granted a privilege she hadn't properly earned yet. It was still hard to believe that this was happening, that Kara felt the same way about her. The little voice inside her head that sounded too much like Lillian for her liking told her she wasn't worthy of any of it and she had to shove that voice deep down to keep herself from spiraling.

A soft knock on the door told her their food arrived and she extracted herself from Kara's side to go answer and pay. The conversation was dropped for lighter topics as they settled into their spots and ate dinner. After the food had been discarded Kara pulled Lena back into her side resting her arm around her shoulder and they stayed like that as the movie played. When it ended they let the main menu screen light up the dark room, unhurried in their attempts to move away from one another. It was a comfortable silence Lena's hand had found Kara's and towards the end of the movie she had favored studying it instead of the actors on the screen. It was a slender hand soft where she thought callouses would be if all the work Kara did as Supergirl ever had any lasting effects on her skin. Her nails were clean, rounded and well manicured, no polish, which was something she thought back over the years and realized wasn't something she ever remembered Kara wearing.

"What are you thinking?" Kara asked quietly as she watched Lena trace her fingers with soft ministrations.

Lena smiled softly and shook her head. "Nothing important."

"Tell me anyway, now I'm curious." Kara asked again, the hand still resting on Lena's shoulder lightly squeezed in encouragement.

"I was trying to remember if I ever saw you wearing finger nail polish before." Lena chuckled lightly at how random it was when spoken out loud.

"I hardly ever wear any, unless for a special occasion and even then it's neutral in color." Kara said amused at the odd turn in conversation.

"Why?" Lena asked as she put Kara's fingers up to her mouth kissing them lightly before returning to her earlier ministrations.

"Cause it's not something I like to maintain, plus when I do get them done I always nick the polish as soon as I leave the salon. Every. Single. Time. It's a lot of money for two seconds of perfection, not worth it." Kara laughed lightly. "One of the many downfalls of being Supergirl. Manicures don't last."

Lena smiled. It was a new piece of information she got to tuck away about Kara. With it spurred on the desire to know more, learn more, wanting to uncover all the lingering mysteries that made up who Kara was. It also made her think back to earlier today and why Kara seemed to retreat into herself. She felt the growing pressure to ask the questions she wanted to ask when Kara had excused herself at the gym, but she was warring with her own set of fears about what had been bothering Kara.

"You're stiff, are you cold?" Kara asked as she pulled the blanket from over the couch and draped it over both of them. Lena didn't realize her body had gotten steadily more rigid as her thoughts drifted, she did her best to relax and shake off Kara's worry.

"No, not cold, just thinking about something you said earlier today. " When Kara looked at her questioningly, Lena let out a quick breath and pulled back a little from Kara's embrace so she could look at her more easily. "At the gym?" She said, hoping that would jog Kara's memory. The look of dawning realization that swept across Kara's face was enough confirmation. "What was bothering you? You said it was something I said."

Kara shifted uncomfortably. What could she say? She had overheard a conversation she wasn't meant to have listened to. With it came the knowledge of some of Lena's insecurities. How do you assuage a person's fears? Especially since she had a plethora of her own. They have enough going against them as it is. She was still trying to understand why Lena believed it only a matter of time before Kara would find a reason to leave her. That was a fear she couldn't put to rest with simple words of affirmation. It's been something she's been continuously mulling over in the back of her mind ever since she heard it. Nothing she could say would ever be enough, because the only thing that would be a convincing argument was time. Commitment and trust weren't things that could be assured to her with the simple snap of her fingers.

She was also afraid of this conversation. It's been a handful of days since they admitted their feelings about one another. Was their relationship as friends and now as…something more… strong enough to support them through this? She certainly hoped so. She was so tired of fighting, but she also understood that overcoming struggles produces strength and if her tumultuous past with Lena was anything to reference, she knew with conviction that they would come out stronger for it. She had to hope that the truths they've learned along the way, the pain they've endured to get to where they are now, was enough to guide them through this as well.

She'd rather gloss over this and pretend everything was fine, and in the meantime find opportunities to try and prove she wasn't going anywhere, that Lena's fears were unfounded, but that was really only prolonging the inevitable. No. This conversation needed to happen. She needed to believe in their ability to overcome this hurdle just as they had the countless others they've already faced. It wasn't even that big of a hurdle was it? Not in Kara's opinion at least, because she knew how she felt about Lena. Trouble was convincing Lena, who had been promised love and affection by people throughout her life only for it to end with her getting hurt because of it. With that understanding of Lena's trepidations in mind Kara stepped into this conversation with a renewed level of patience.

She adjusted in her spot, twisting to meet Lena's worried gaze. "I overheard you and Andrea talking. Do you really think so little of me that I could be capable of leaving you?" Her voice thick with emotion at the betrayal Lena feared she was capable of, but she pushed past it and braved another glance in Lena's direction. Lena, to her surprise, seemed calm, her expression soft and unguarded as if this was something Kara should have expected or knew all along. Kara wasn't sure what to make of it but she pressed on with the thoughts that had been churning in her head for the better part of the day. "Believe me when I say that I am in this." Kara's voice shook with conviction. "I am all in." She whispered. "I am not going anywhere."

"Don't you think…" Lena started, then stopped, her hands clenching and unclenching in a nervous habit that Kara knew all too well and spoke of her discomfort far more than her practiced expressions ever could. "Isn't it better to know now, before we get too involved, before this thing between us breaks us apart?"

"Break us apart? Lena look at what we have been through the last several years, ever since I've known you there've been people, my sister included, that have warned me against being your friend. People who've attempted to end your life or mine. So better for who Lena? For me or for you? Because honestly, I think you are trying to protect yourself." Kara almost winced at how defensive her tone of voice sounded. It put her on edge and Lena likewise straightened and Kara could almost see the wall fall back into place in response.

"Of course I'm trying to protect myself, Kara. I'm always trying to protect myself! It's second nature at this point. I have been burned too many times by too many people as you have so conveniently pointed out, people who I trusted…it would be foolish of me to not learn how to survive it! I don't have the capacity to expose my heart over and over again to things that can shatter it." She whips her hands in the air "Who does? And you… you have the capacity to devastate it completely." She said, her voice shaking with the fear and the admission.

She throws an accusatory finger at Kara jabbing her in the shoulder trying to redirect some of the discomfort she now felt back onto Kara. "You hid behind your cape, for years! So take the log out of your own eye before you come at me like that!" The fear and the anger seemed to dominate the smaller voice inside her that kept pleading with her to calm down, to speak more gently. However, her emotions felt too big for such a soft response and her heart was breaking inwardly at how this conversation was escalating against her will. She didn't want to argue with Kara, she wanted to speak calmly and rationally, but her own fears being brought to light just made her defensive and she lashed out unthinkingly.

"I'm afraid too, you know!" Kara exclaims defeatedly and it's like she punched the sound out of the air, the silence making the air between them heavy and Lena's still so close Kara realizes. Just a breath away from her and yet it feels like a canyon in the way Lena stares back at her. Kara runs her hand shakily through her hair as she realizes what she had admitted. "I'm afraid. Ok? I don't want to lose you. Not again. Not again…and I'm afraid that no matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, I will never be able to make up for the hurt I caused you."

And it was almost funny how the same prevailing fear Lena had was just as prominent for Kara. It was a sound one for herself, she had every reason to assume her past transgressions would one day come back to haunt her, to be flaunted in front of her without mercy, whether in some random argument or in the sort of way where it's a slow fade and it creeps in unawares until they both just drift apart, because it gets left to fester without ever getting addressed.

It was also irrational because she can't think of any single instance when Kara had ever held her past hostage, keeping moments locked away and stored for the perfect time to lash it back out when it would hurt the most. No, that was what Lillian would do. What Lex had done. She couldn't help that she projected that same pattern of behavior onto Kara, it wasn't intentional, but she carried a lot of scars of emotional and physical abuse from her family. Kara had only ever defended her, praised her for how good she was despite her upbringing, warned her when she started to cross the line and then and only then stepped away from her when she refused to listen.

It wasn't until she felt Kara wipe a tear away from her cheek that she realized she was crying. Her head leaned into the touch despite her conflicting emotions. "I'm sorry, I can't help the worry, or the fear that you'll wake up one day and decide that this is all too much, that I'm – " She shook her head as more tears fell and Kara pulled her into her chest wrapping her arms around Lena's back.

Kara took a deep breath and pulled back slightly so she could look into Lena's eyes. "I think we are both having to learn how to lean on each other again. Trust each other again. You have to know there is literally nothing you could ever do to me to make me ever want to leave you." Kara said earnestly. Lena nodded as she pulled away from the embrace.

"Just don't ever cheat on me." Kara amended.

Lena chuckled and sniffed as she shook her head quickly in response, tears still escaping defiantly down her cheeks. She moved her hands to Kara's, looking down at them as she spoke quietly.

"This isn't something I ever meant for you to have heard me say. It was self doubt and insecurities voiced out to a friend in an attempt to have someone else help me combat it. To think rationally…" Lena sat silently for a minute as she let Kara's assurances soothe her mind.

"I know." Kara looked down, a light blush of embarrassment dusting her cheeks. "You were seeking that from Andrea, and I understand. It wasn't intentional to overhear you today, but I'm glad I did. I think we both needed to have this conversation and probably many more like it as we navigate this new path in our relationship." She paused a minute and nervously added, "if-if that's something you still want?"

Lena nodded quickly as she looked into her eyes. "God yes, this is important to me. It isn't something I want to mess up. I've never been so terrified of screwing something up more than this. I think that's why I said what I said to Andrea. But don't misunderstand…" Lena's hands trailed down Kara's arms and back up as her head fell back to Kara's own. "I want this. I want you. This is just a lot. We've known each other for so long, and to go from being friends to this… it's amazing, and I couldn't be more excited but…"

"It's new." Kara finished understandingly.

"So new." Lena breathed out in relief at Kara's acknowledgement. "Three days. It's still so surreal. And I'm still adjusting to it, and I have a lot of baggage that, as a friend you can understand and support to a certain degree, but as this…as something more… you have to navigate it with me. I've never been comfortable enough to allow anyone I've dated to do that. Not until you." Lena said, her eyes shining brightly as she examined Kara's soft expression pointed at her. It flooded her with a warmth she wasn't familiar with a feeling she couldn't place not having anything similar to compare it to. She wanted to rest in the warmth of it, to live in this moment where she felt a peace that surpassed understanding.

Kara relaxed further into the couch pulling Lena with her as her own hands came up to track a similar pattern on Lena's arms. "I hope you know that you can come to me when you are feeling that way. Also, this may come as a shock, but I have a lot of baggage too." Kara's heart swelled when Lena's lips curved upward slightly. "I am sorry I overheard. It's not an excuse, but I can't always help it. Especially when it comes to your voice or heartbeat." Lena looked at her questioningly and Kara pulled her lips into her mouth as her cheeks flamed up with embarrassment.

"What do you mean by that?" Lena asked curiously.

"You really don't know the calming effect you have on my life, do you?" Kara asked in wonder, like this should be the most obvious thing in the world.

Lena is struck by Kara's piercing gaze and nearly looks away in her own attempt to keep her composure. She had always felt like an outsider looking in, never good enough to be a Luthor, never smart enough to be a CEO, never strong enough to save her mother… she had to learn and adapt and push past conformities in order to become the person she is today. She only ever felt truly cherished when she was in Kara's presence. Lately that feeling extended when she was around Sam, Andrea and even Alex and Diana on occasion. To know she had that kind of effect on Kara felt empowering...humbling.

"You have always been the brightest point of my day. Even when we were at odds… seeing you, even if it was just to argue with you…it was like coming home." Kara shrugged as her eyes watered at the confession, her cheeks crimson red at sharing something she once held secret. "I just wish you would have come to me first, shared your fears with me so that we could have worked it out together before involving someone else."

"I've never felt this way about anyone before." Lena whispered tenderly as she leaned forward and reached for Kara's face as Kara's head fell against her own.

"Me either." Kara says softly.

"Promise me these conversations will be a staple in the months and years to come. That we will come to each other before we go to anyone else to share our fears or settle a dispute."

"I promise." Kara whispered.

"I promise too." She felt Lena relax into her a little more with that reassurance.

"Years huh?" Kara asked and Lena raised her head, a smug determined grin on her face.

"I have no intention of ever letting you go." Lena said confidently. This wasn't going to be easy, opening herself up and allowing herself to be vulnerable felt counterintuitive to how she had been raised, but that was ok. Great actually. She wouldn't have considered it with anyone else, but with Kara, after everything they've been through, she knew she could lean on her for support. Trust her with her doubts. She tugged Kara closer and kissed her softly, an easy smile pulling at her face when they seperated.

"Good, cause we technically haven't gone on an official first date yet and I would very much like to ask you out." Kara said happily.

"What would you call tonight then?" Lena asked amusedly. "Dinner, a movie, conversation… seems like a date to me."

"What?" Kara pulled back and Lena followed with a smile. "No, that does not count! Tonight is what we do all the time!" Kara whined. "If I would've known that I would've made tonight way more special, and cooked and we would have had other…easier conversations…"

Lena shook her head. "I want something real. Not planned. The conversation we had tonight was difficult, sure, but I feel closer to you now because of it. I wouldn't trade this for anything." She sat up straighter. "This is all I've ever wanted, someone I can come home to, rest in easy comfort with. I'm content with our quiet moments. Or those that we fill up with any type of conversation, however meaningful or meaningless they may seem. As long as I get to be with you," Lena trailed her hand up Kara's arm. "Be near you…" She said quieter as her hand made its way up to Kara's neck, "Anything else is just an added bonus. All I want is this…" Kara's eyes lidded heavily as Lena pulled her closer. "The fact I get to have this with you, my best friend…" Lena shook her head in wonder as she looked into Kara's eyes. "It's more than I ever thought I could ask for."

Kara smiled brightly, her head slowly gravitating towards Lena's. "That's the first time you've called me your best friend in over a year."

Lena smiled as their noses brushed together. "It doesn't really fit though." Lena hummed quietly as their lips brushed teasingly.

"What do you mean?" Kara asked breathlessly her eyes lidded and her attention seemed to be centered on Lena's lips.

"I'm far too possessive. Best friend isn't exactly a term that lets people know you're mine." Lena fisted her hand into Kara's shirt as soon as she heard the almost inaudible moan escape wantanly from Kara's lips at the confession. Their breaths nearly shared between them.

"W-what would you call me instead?" Kara breathed out and Lena couldn't hold back anymore, seeing Kara so far gone in desire for her left her breathless and in need.

Capturing Kara's lips between hers, Kara hummed in approval as she kissed her back. "For now I guess 'girlfriend' will have to do." Lena said as their lips parted.

"I do like the sound of that." Kara said happily as she pulled Lena into her lap. Lena brushed Kara's hair back from her face and kissed her more heavily, using all the restraint she had not to push her hips upwards for the friction she desperately wanted. This wasn't about that though. This was about the countless times she had bottled up her emotions, too afraid to express them. This was about finally being able to touch Kara the way she had always dreamed. This was about showing Kara that despite her own fears and doubts, she was just as much invested in what they were starting as Kara. She pulled back suddenly and Kara nearly chased after her lips in response, her hands gripping Lena's waist a little tighter so she couldn't escape completely, not that she planned to. "What? What is it?" Kara asked.

Lena stared down at her reverently and cupped her face with both her hands. "I'm just…memorizing this moment."

Kara's eye squinted happily but there was still a bit of confusion in the way she looked back up at Lena. "Why this moment?"

"Because I have never been with anyone who cared enough to take the time to have these conversations." Lena's hands roamed over Kara's face and neck and shoulders as she studied her silently for a moment longer. "And because I have never cared enough about anyone to want to have them…but with you…" Lena leaned forward and kissed Kara deeply, pulling away to catch her breath. "I'd move mountains for you."

"Nope, I'm not wearing this." Kara complained. She peeled the skin tight dress off her body, careful not to rip it in the process.

Nia groaned and thrusted her arms in the air in complaint. "Why do I even bother with you two?" Alex caught the discarded dress in the air when Kara chunked it at her and started putting it back on its hanger, awkward in her attempt due to the sling that kept her arm close to her chest. She smirked as Kara and her exchanged looks. "When you stop trying to dress us up like hookers, maybe we will be more receptive to your fashion choices." She argued back playfully. "You dress conservatively, you have a nice wardrobe of clothing, and yet for some inexplicable reason you have tried to dress Kara and myself up in clothing that is two sizes too small…explain that." Alex added as she rummaged through Nia's closet.

"You two are no fun. First dates are when you are supposed to make an impression." Nia complains as she thrusts a blue suit in Kara's direction. Kara scrunches her nose up at it and shakes her head and Nia rolls her eyes and chunks the suit onto her bed.

"I've known Lena for years, we've gone out as friends all the time…isn't it a little late for me to be making impressions?" Kara asked as she tried on an A-line dress that fell just past her knees. It fit nicely, but the dreamsicle orange color made her look like a walking popsicle. She grimaced and shook out of it quickly, discarding it on the floor and made her way to the pile of clothes Alex had brought with her. She found a navy pair of pants with a light blue blouse and skinny tie. She started pulling the pants up only to groan in complaint when the waist was two sizes too big. She stepped back out of the pants and sat in the chair across from Nia's bed folding her arms over her chest in defeat. "This is hopeless."

"I don't know what you are wanting…" Nia said as she held up a dress in one hand and suit in the other. Kara shook her head at both of them and frowned as she rubbed her temple absentmindedly. "Remind me again what she said to you." Nia asked as she began collecting all the rejected clothing off the floor. Kara sighed, she had spent the rest of the week either at Lena's apartment or her own nestled up together as they talked for hours on end watching movies or eating dinner, but they still hadn't actually gone out on an official date yet. It wasn't until Friday night when Lena had made a comment to do something outside of the comforts of their living rooms. Kara had mentioned wanting to be the one to take Lena out initially, but Lena had been adamant about taking her out first.

"She said she's going to take me out, but didn't say where. I don't want to over-dress, but I don't want to show up in jeans and a t-shirt either… Ugh!" Kara stood up and went through the assortment of clothing she had brought with her. "What about this?" She pulled out a red, sleeveless jumper, the pants tapered in at the ankles. It was feminine, classy and stylish. Depending on what Lena had planned, it allowed her to move around freely and comfortably too, which was an added bonus. The top was modest and she knew she had a matching pair of red heels to go with it.

"Try it on, at this point what do you have to lose?" Alex said, her patience already wearing thin. "I'm due to meet Sam in half an hour, and I still have to pick Ruby up from practice. So make it quick, I have to leave in like five minutes."

Kara pulled it on and turned to face the two of them. "Well? What do you think?"

"Holy fucking shit." Nia exclaimed.

Kara put her hands on her hips and glared at Nia. "What's that supposed to mean? Good or bad?"

"You look nice, Kara." Alex said calmly as she gathered up her things. "I think you've found the winner."

"Nice? Just Nice?" Nia gaped at Alex. Alex glared at her before Nia spun back around and stared at Kara. "You look like you just stepped off a catwalk, or out of a magazine. Seriously, put your hair in a low, loose chignon, use smokey eyeliner and you will literally have Lena eating –"

"Ahh bup bup bup! No stop! Please." Alex shouted.

"Out of the palm of your hand…" Nia finished and looked at Alex like she was insane. "Come on, Alex, I wasn't going to be crass…"

"I can never be sure." Alex mumbled and Kara chuckled lightly.

"Thank Rao! I was about to throw in the towel and just wear my pants with a sweater and chinos…fine for work, but on a date?" Kara looked at herself in the mirror and had to agree with Nia's assessment. It was a very flattering outfit and worked for all but extremely formal occasions which she doubted Lena had planned.

"I wish I knew where we were going. She was very cryptic about the whole thing." Kara said more to herself than to the other two still in the room.

"Personally I love surprises, makes it more exciting." Nia pushed a pile of clothes off to the side of the bed so she could sit down. "What time are you supposed to meet?"

Kara looked at her watch. "She's picking me up in about an hour."

"Cutting it pretty close, shouldn't you get going then?" Alex asked.

Kara smiled. "I'm about to leave. Oh! Before I forget, there's something I was wanting you to track down for me." She handed Alex a sheet of paper. Alex eyed it curiously and opened it up. "You want me to find a person? Who is it?"

Kara smiled. "Just see if you can find them. I'll take it from there."
