Hello all, it's been awhile. Probably a little too long as I think about the last time I posted an update. Unfortunately I've decided to go ahead and stop writing stories on this site. With having a full time job along with family I don't have time to write or finish anything and I know I won't ever come back to this. I've enjoyed my many years on this site as a reader and writer, but it's time for me to call it quits for good.
However, I don't want to just quit without leaving some closure. So for each of my stories I'm going to post the current progress I had with the chapter (which depending on the story might not be a lot of progress or polished) and give my plans for how I was going to take the story and wrap everything up to give some closure to those who care.
Finally if anyone wants to take my stories or ideas and make them their own feel free to do so. And for the last time stay safe out there and enjoy your life!

Chapter 3. Come With Us
(With Naruto)
Gazing out onto the large pillar of magical energy, Naruto kept his guard up as something felt uncomfortable about the situation.
"Okay so what is this Nirvana? I'm not exactly up to speed on this whole mission." Naruto began softly, while he glanced around the area. Finding everyone looked just as confused as he was. "You guys do know what Nirvana is right?"
"To my knowledge it's an ancient magic, but I have not the slightest idea of its true power and danger." Jura admitted honestly, which was a sentiment shared throughout the group.
Naruto sighed and moved his eyes back to the sight of what everyone assumed was Nirvana. "That complicates the situation, but I could use some clones to scout the area. Maybe even get some more intel for us to work with."
"Or we could just move in together and put a stop to whoever activated Nirvana!" Natsu shouted with confidence, while showing his urge to get some action and prove himself.
"As Itachi would say, that idea is foolish. Running blindly into an unknown threat is normally asking for the worst outcome. So we need to approach this situation with caution."
"I agree with Naruto, but we can't just sit around and do nothing." Erza began with a slight pause, almost as if her mind was focused on something else entirely.
"Like I said, I'll use my clones." Naruto replied in a matter of fact tone, while flashing a small smirk. "I share their memories, so I'll be able to figure out this Nirvana with a low risk."
"Actually that's not needed." The voice of Blue Pegasus's Hibiki began, as everyone looked at the playboy. "I know exactly what Nirvana is capable of, but it's a secret given to me from my Master."
Ren looked completely confused. "Why would the Master only tell you?"
"Because Nirvana becomes more dangerous if you're conscious of the power it holds, as it's the power to exchange the dark and light."
"Exchange the dark and light?" Wendy mumbled softly, while Naruto held his hand out.
"You're clearly not talking about literal light and darkness, but I'm not sure what you're getting at." Naruto admitted, which earned a nod from Hibiki.
"We should be far enough away from the source for me to share this, but Nirvana has the power to completely flip someone's alignment if their emotions waver near Nirvana's proximity. It can literally turn the most righteous person into a villain and vice-versa."
"That's frightening." Lucy mumbled softly, while fear laced her words.
"A magic that can change a person so drastically, no wonder these bastards want it." Gray added in.
"I don't like this at all." Naruto admitted, while he turned to face the source of Nirvana one last time. "A power like this could literally destroy not only a guild, but an entire country from the inside out."
"Kid, maybe we should use a Bijūdama. I know we would kill every dark wizard in that forest, but this magic is something that should be stopped now." Kurama tried to reason within Naruto's mind, which made the blond space out for a second.
'I agree that it should be stopped, but we are aware of its power. We just have to keep our emotions in check and we should be fine. However, if our backs are against the wall we can talk about using a Bijūdama later.'
"I have faith in you brat, but I can tell emotions are high within the surrounding group you are with. I wouldn't want you to regret not taking serious action and something happening to Wendy." Kurama repiled, while keeping a single thought to himself. That of course was the fear that if Wendy was affected then Naruto would be more likely to fall victim to Nirvana's magic.
'Well then we can move them away from the area, I have plenty of chakra left along with your power to finish this off by myself.'
"It's an idea, but let's see if you can convince them to fall back."
Wendy looking at Naruto quickly observed the blond was in a daze like trance, which always meant he was having some mental conversation with Kurama. This of course made Wendy poke Naruto to get his attention.
"Are you and Kurama talking about how to fix this?"
"Yeah, but his solution is a little extreme." Naruto replied while a few of the wizards were confused as to who Kurama was. "Regardless, the guild is pretty close by. We should retreat back to Cait Shelter where it's safe and then come up with some kind of plan from there."
"Yeah that sounds like a good idea!" Wendy replied with a wave of confidence behind her voice.
"I agree with Wendy." Jura spoke up, as he held Racer and Cobra on his shoulders. "We would do no good from rushing into Nirvana without having a proper plan."
Making a few shadow clones, Naruto placed a hand softly onto Wendy. "Everyone grab onto one of my clones and I'll teleport us to my guild."
Complying without question, each member of the light guild alliance began to disappear in a flash of light. Meanwhile the original Naruto simply flashed away with Wendy and appeared right in the middle of the tiny village that was the Cait Shelter guild. Allowing everyone to get a good glance at the rather unknown guild.
"So this is Cait Shelter huh?" Gray mumbled softly, while he looked around the area.
"It's not like I imagined it." Lucy added in.
"Naruto, Wendy and Carla. I'm glad to see you three!"
"Master!" Naruto and Wendy shouted with large smiles on their faces as they saw the elderly man walk over to them.
The guild alliance watched as the two young children both quickly flocked to their master. Who kept a rather serious expression on his face.
"It does my old heart good to see you are all fine, but I'm afraid we are running out of time. You're aware that Nirvana has been found."
Naruto nodded and turned to the large magic source. "Yeah, we were actually trying to form a plan to stop Nirvana."
"Are you aware of Nirvana's magic?" The aged wizard asked, which made both Naruto and Wendy nod.
"Yeah it's a magic that can change people's hearts!" Wendy answered with worry as she shivered slightly. "It's scary to think, but Nirvana could turn any of our friends against us."
"Yes it's a freighting magic that was created by the founders of our guild the Nirvit Tribe."
"Wait really?" Naruto asked in surprise, as many others within the group were shocked as well. "Why would the founders of our guild create such evil magic?"

Naruto and Itachi would join Fairy Tail
Naruto and Itachi would be found by Jiraiya who was asked to reach out to them by the Hokage. Timeline wise this would happen right around the Edolas arc and ending of the first part of the Chunin exams. Basically Naruto and Itachi would be told of everything that's happening and the 3rd explaining his worries with Orochimaru, the village and Sasuke.
After this Jiraiya would go back to their dimension and some time would pass for the S-class exam arc. Itachi beforehand would tell Makarov he feels both Wendy and Naruto are not ready to be S-class because they haven't matured yet. So during the exams they both stay in the guild and Itachi takes Carla with him. Before leaving it's hinted that Itachi's blindness and sickness is starting to be an issue.
Due to Itachi's weakness he is unable to stop Acnologia and the guild disappears for seven years like in cannon with Itachi joining them.
During this time Naruto and Wendy are both absolutely heartbroken. However, they don't get long to mourn as Jiraiya comes to get Naruto and Itachi's help after the invasion in Konoha.
Naruto is hesitant at first, but Wendy talks him into helping out. Essentially after the invasion a lot of changes happen from cannon since Naruto is gone. For example Sakura is killed by Gaara who in turn is killed by Jiraiya and many more chain reactions like this due to Naruto not being there.
Naruto and Wendy of course have different scenes with people from Konoha and it all culminates with the duo and Jiraiya getting Tsunade back. After this Naruto and Wendy head back to their guild.
Naruto throws himself into quest after quest, essentially working himself to death. He does this to earn enough money to keep every home that belonged to a member of the guild along with paying for the guild building. Wendy meanwhile just silently watches Naruto and uses her magic to help patch up his wounds and restore him enough to keep going (even though she hates his new self destructive tendencies)
After the first year of this the guild decides they need to move on and they name Naruto guild master due to all the work he was doing. Naruto reluctantly accepts but keeps working himself to death with Wendy helping with all the official paperwork for the guild.
After two years Wendy finally explodes on Naruto and tells him that she worries about his health and loves him. After this Naruto slows down and starts to move forward with Wendy as his girlfriend.
Time then moves on and due to Naruto's work Fairy Tail stays in some relevance, but is seen as a guild that is a shell of its former self. With Naruto and Wendy the only strong members recognized by the wizard world. Of course by the time year 6 rolls around Naruto and Wendy get married.
Then at year 7 when everyone returns a lot of plots intertwin with Naruto's home dimension the returning fairy tail wizards, Zeref and Acnologia ending in a fairly large all out four way war. Ending ultimately with Itachi dying and Naruto and Wendy having the final scene with their children at Itachi's grave. (There was a lot I was going to add with everything, but this was the main ideas as I don't want to explain every single detail)
