It was night in Sinnoh region and cities were bustling or the villages were sleepy but many were glued to a television screen. There was an exceptional battle happening. A trainer who lost maximum two Pokemons in the Sinnoh League, breezed his way through the Elite Four, was trying to get the title of Champion. Tickets were sold out for the battle despite taking place in night. The fact that the Champion's post was vulnerable in the battle meant that the world were paying attention to the rare event.

The trainer had waited his time to take on the Elite Four and Champion and the fact that the trainer breezed through the Elite Four was a regular talking matter. There was a lot of hype about the battle as it was about the rare battle of Champion title defence that it was televised in all regons. Since the challenger breezed through the Sinnoh League and the Elite Four, many believed that there was a high chance that the person would become Champion.

Time passed as it became more late in the night and people were restless. They came to see the battle and wanted to see action.

Time passed since introduction to the battle as it became more late in night. The people were shouting as the Pokemons battled in the battlefield. Everyone who were there in the stadium felt an adrenaline boost due to the battle. There was a trainer on one side of the battlefield who was a young man. The trainer had dark hair and was determined to defeat the Champion. There was the Champion on the other side, with long blonde hair. Her dress was blowing due to the wind, as she was ready to keep her seat.

The battle was thrilling and neither side seemed to have an advantage. Those who thought that the challenger would create a massive upset for the Champion saw that it was not the case. Even though the trainer breezed throught the Elite Four, he could not seem to sweep the Champion. Cynthia was down to her second last Pokemon while the trainer was down to his last Pokemon. The trainer shouted.

"Darkrai, use Dark Pulse!" As Darkrai used Dark Pulse and Garchomp was losing health, the Champion knew something had to be done. "Garchomp, end the battle with Draco Meteor!" The meteorites in Draco Meteor hit the Dark Pulse attack and there was an explosion. Cynthia retained her focus and was ready to make Garchomp switch to another move. "Go and defeat Darkrai with Dragon Claw!"

Garchomp, Cynthia's starter Pokemon, moved through the smoke caused by the explosion and then hit Darkrai with a powerful Dragon Claw while being hit by Dark Pulse and the hit by Dragon Claw caused Darkrai to fall to the ground. The crowds cheered as the referee made the decision which would upset the challenger. "Darkrai is unable to battle. The winner of the title defence match is the defending Champion, Cynthia!"

The people were shouting for the Champion who controlled Sinnoh. Cynthia gave a single thanks to her Pokemon and walked to the middle of the ground where the trainer was present wit Darkrai. The man said. "I believed that I could sweep you. But you gave me a thrilling battle that I love and a result that disappointed me, that I lost. I will make sure to battle you!"

She said this, "I know that we could meet again." Repoters were capturing pictures rapidly of the moment. Cynthia then saw the man walk quietly, his dreams of becoming the Champion, so close, but yer, so far away, as Garchomp was very strong. Cynthia released Togekiss, embarked and flew on Togekiss.

Later that Night…

Cynthia was walking in her room in the Champion chamber while being drained from the battle. Cyntia had the knowledge that interviews with the media would be tomorrow and she was happy for that as she felt that she needed time to rest and think back about the batte she had with Tobias which was thrilling. She switched on the television while looking at her Pokemons sleeping peacefully and Garchomp which looked happy while sleeping. She came aross a news channel which was talking about her battle with Tobias.

Cynthia knew, the man's attempts will make her to battle him again if he attempted the Sinnoh League again and he was indeed able to give her a thrilling battle, but he was weaker than her. She knew that more young trainers will lose an oppurtunity to battle the Elite Four, however as Tobias was much stronger than them.

She then saw a headline which was flashing in the news.

"CYNTHIA COULD BE THE STRONGEST TRAINER IN THE WORLD."

Cynthia smiled on hearing that but she knew that the battle did not prove her to be strongest in the world.

She knew Tobias was no match to trainers like Leon and she sighed. She thought back to the event that had forged their familial bond and made her feel like Cynthia's sister. Cynthia, though, winced at the thought. Regardless of how things worked out in the end, harm had already been done on a mental and bodily level. The occurrence was so horrible and tragic that it was almost impossible to open up to anyone. She could only imagine how much suffering her dear buddy had through. She then sat back down on the couch and continued to think.

How did she fare following the incident? Even though it had been years, she was still mentally damaged by it. Of course, things weren't exactly that simple. Within a week, the girl had lost all of her Pokémon, been betrayed by her so-called friends, been thrown into a natural disaster, and had her body damaged. For one week. How is that even possible to heal from?

Cynthia was aware that she probably wouldn't have lived through the tragedy if it had occurred to her. They had never engaged in combat, so she wasn't sure how strong her friend had grown, but she was still left wondering about how she was doing. An average trainer would never have been able to fill her friend's role.

How many people do you actually encounter who may claim to be the Champion of the Johto Region?

Meanwhile…

Steven was in his room, he had done a lot of training with his Pokemons today. His mind had a lot of thoughts about how to make his team stronger. Steven was left alone with his reflections. He thought back to the event that had made them close enough for Steven to call him a brother. Steven shivered at the thought nevertheless. Regardless of how things worked out in the end, harm had already been done on a mental and bodily level. The occurrence was so horrible and tragic that it was almost impossible to open up to anyone. He had defeated him before but due to his skill in training, it was possible he could sweep his team.

Paul was resting on his bed, he had a day where he had to battle weaklings with new Pokemons as he would sweep them with his old Pokemons. He was the new Viridian City gym leader after Agatha retired. Paul looked at Infernape, the Pokemon whom he had released when he did not care about Pokemon a lot, who was sleeping peacefully in the field. Paul made sure to buy Ash's Dark type Pokemons, Scraggy who evolved to Scrafty, Krookodile, and Incineroar, Greninja, and Infernape which was sold.

Paul was curious about the news and then he switched on the television. He saw a headline.

"DAWN, THE BEST COORDINATOR IN THE WORLD. SHE HAS THRASHED ZOEY IN THE BATTLE ROUND."

Paul sighed, the people who were present when Ash died seemed to get high titles quite easily. They were called the Ash clique. Iris became the Monarch and she was able to easily sweep the teams of other trainers, Brock was a world famous doctor, Tracey was a world famous researcher, Dawn and May sweep the competition in the Grand Festival, Serena was a famous idol who was much more famous than Lisia and also the Kalos Queen, Max was a trainer who had won many Pokemon Leagues, Bonnie was the second most famous idol, Goh had a collection of a huge number of Pokemons who had even caught a Legendary Pokemon, Cilan was a S-Class Connoiseur, Mallow was a famous cook as well as a vey strong Trial Captain and Elite Four member, Lana,, and Kiawe were also very strong Trial Captains and Elite Four members, Sophocles was a famous scientist, a very strong Trial Captain, and an Elite Four member, Lillie was a very strong trainer who had many Pokemon League Conference titles and also was a Champion. He knew that he could never manage to be as strong as the members of the clique but something was very eerie of the clique. Paul never knew why their careers skyroketed after Ash was supposed to have died.

Paul knew that Ash's body was never found. Paul apologised to his Pokemons for his treatment of them and made sure to treat them better. However, Paul encountered Max once who released his Pokemons for being too weak and he had a deja vu. Paul did not know why Max was so cold to his Pokemons when he saw how Ash treated his Pokemons and the strange thing was that Paul knew Max traveled with Ash.

Paul had battled Iris once and he was thrashed by Iris' team and he even forfeited the battle due to Electivire undergoing a lot of pain and Iris insulted him for caring too much and he was shocked. Paul noticed while battling Iris that Iris had a cold attitude towards Pokemons. Iris had once battled Leon for the Monarch title and when Leon lost, she insulted Leon in front of the stadium, which made Leon to shout at her. Paul knew that Dawn would trash talk her opponents in the contests and tease them after they lose. No one knew why the clique seemed to be very strong. He knew that the clique were spoiling the name of Ash as Ash was the sole connection between the clique. As for Professors, Professor Oak, Professor Kukui, and Professor Burnet were world famous Professors who seemed to have become more famous after Ash's supposed death which seemed very suspicious to Paul.

Paul's ambition currently was to become just an Elite Four member which was a tough task for him as the Elite Four members were very strong trainers. Paul knew that he was progressing as he would battle against them whenever possible and he was now doing better than before. Paul soon slept on the bed.

Morining...

Paul got up from his bed and then went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and left, and then he went and left his room to prepare breakfast. Paul soon reached his kitchen and prepared breakfast and then went to the hall where he sat on the char, placed the breakfast plate on the table and ate the breakfast. Paul soon finished eating breakfast and then took the plate, and got up from the chair, walked and entered the kitched, and then washed his plate. Paul soon went and left the kitchen and pressed a button which indicated the gym was open. Paul went and left the hall to reach the battlefield. Paul soon saw Barry enter the area and then Barry walked to him.

Barry said "I came to talk with you." Paul replied "Then talk, Barry."

Barry said "I am a frontier head as I gained the position from my father when I beat him in a Pokemon battle. I soon battled Lillie who sweeped my team. I find that very suspicious. I do not know how they are so strong. I think there is something suspiious about their strength."

Paul nodded "Congratulations of being the Frontier head! As for Lillie, she is a member of the Ash clique. Their strength is beyond explanation. It cannot be steroids as that would be detected."

Barry smiled on hearing that "Thanks! You are right, their strength is beyond explanation. Your gym trainers say that you are an inspiration. You are an excellent Gym Leader." Paul was happy to hear that and said "Thank You! You can keep yourself occupied by the various amenities in my hall. I am a gym leader and so I need to be active but I will come to speak with you now. When there are challengers, I would have to leave." Barry nodded and Paul and Barry went to the sofa where they sat.

Trip, Stephan, and Georgia were walking in the park in Anville Town. Georgia was deep in thought, how could a trainer like Iris who never managed to evolve Axew for so long manage to become the Unova Champion and then be a very strong Champion in such a short time. When she challenged Iris, her team was destroyed by just a single move by Iris and she was insulted a lot by Iris. Iris seemed to also have become much worse in character as her typical behavior was to insult those who lost to her instead of congratulating them.

Trip, Stephan, and Georgia then saw Alder, the former Champion who then noticed them and ran to them. Alder was a mentor to Trip and Trip had to train a lot under Alder to be strong enough that Trip could defeat Alder which made Trip happy that he acheived his goal even though Alder was not the Champion.

Alder greeted them "Hi, trainers! Could I join your walk?"

Trip smiled and answered "Yes, sure!" and Alder then wlked with the three trainers.

Georgia asked what was in the group member's minds "Why is Iris so strong?"

Alder said "I do not know but all I can say is that she is a bad example of a trainer."

Stephan said "We all know that but still we could not do anything against her."

Alder nodded and he frowned "I know nothing can be done about Iris right now but we can train and become stronger."

Georgia said "That is what we need to do! We will manage to defeat Iris!"

Alder nodded "That is the spirit! I will train you all to be stronger and to be contenders to the Champion post. You all can win the Pokemon League and some of you can even defeat the Elite Four."

Trip said "Thank You, Alder!"

Alder said "You are welcome!"

Some Time Ago…

Ash was returning back to Pallet Town with his Pikachu. He had done well in the World Coronation Series and had even defeated Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion, and the second strongest trainer in the tournament. He has always wanted to beat Cynthia since he first met her in Sinnoh as she was a very strong trainer. He did not know what lied ahead other than becoming even more unbeatable. Life seemed good for him.

"Pikachu! Let's go rapidly to Pallet Town!"

Ash then ran down the slope of the hill while reminescing about his journey. He wondered if he coulld consider himself a Pokemon Master as he managed to bond rapidly with Pokemon he has caught and train them rapidly to become very strong like how his Riolu which was recently born from an Egg managed to defeat Cynthia's Garchomp. Ash and Pikachu then reached Pallet Town and saw the gate to Professor Oak's Lab and Professor Oak's Lab on top of the hill.

"Pikachu, we are walking in the path we first took as trainers. It has been quite some time and I cherish the time I was with you!" Pikachu smiled and said "Pika!"

Ash then continued to walk in the path for some time and then reached the gate. Ash decided to walk to his house first and he saw Misty in the distance walking to the house. He waved his hand and Misty also waved her hand to Ash back. Ash then ran to meet Misty, the first trainer he travelled with and Misty also ran to him. Ash and Misty soon reached each other outside the gate to the house.

"Ash, Congratulations about the World Coronation Series!" Ash smiled on hearing that.

"You are also an exceptional trainer!" Misty was happy to hear that. Misty was hesistating and then she decided to tell what she wanted to say.

"Ash, I love you a lot! I have loved you since I traveled with you in Kanto and I find you to be an amazing person. I can only imagine my future being with you." Ash blushed on hearing that.

"Misty, you are the first trainer I met and I started to crush on you as we traveled with each other and fought with each other. I love you, Misty! I found you to be beautiful when you asked me to dance with you with your hair let down. You always look beautiful but I like it more when you let your hair down. When you appeared as a mermaid letting looe your hair which actually is long, I found you to be much more beautiful than Giselle." Misty was blushing and smiling.

"You really think I am more beautiful than Giselle when you blushed before seeing her beauty?" Misty wanted to make sure that Ash really thought of her that way. Pikachu jumped from Ash and ran inside the house lawn to give them their alone time.

"Yes, when you let your long hair loose from the ponytail, you look much more beautiful than Giselle and you also are a kind person. I actually blushed when I looked at you in Alola. Misty, I request you to let loose your hair but if you decline, I would not mind." Misty then let loose her hair and put the Key Stone in a ring and wore the ring. Ash was blusing from seeing Misty's long red hair and knew that she was much more beautiful than the other girls he saw.

"I am ready to look like how you want me to look." Ash smiled on hearing that. Misty then surprised Ash by kissing him on his lips and Ash reciprocated the kiss and kissed deeper. Ash and Misty then parted and smiled at each other.

"I would let you know that Melody, Latias or Bianca, and Serena have kissed me but I felt actual love only to you but I was only a little pleased when Serena and Melody kissed me." Misty nodded.

"If I hav to share you with Serena, then I probably have to accept?" Misty wanted to know.

"I love you, Misty and what I had with Serena and Melody was only a slight pleasure from a girl kissing me. You are the one with whom I want to spend my life with. As you became kinder to me as we traveled together, I only started to love you more." Misty was blushing from hearing that.

"You are so selfless to the point of you accepting Serena to be with me but I have my eyes for only you. I know Serena would be disappointed to hear this but this is the truth. You need not share me with anyone." Misty was happy that Ash loved her and he loved her so much.

"I liked to keep my hair in a ponytail to the side but nowing that you liked me to let my hair loose, I love letting my hair loose as I love you a lot and I am ready to do what you want me to do." Misty then went to kiss Ash and Ash and Misty kissed for a longer time than before. Ash and Misty parted and smiled and then Ash and Misty kissed each other again for some time and then parted.

"Your lips feel nice to kiss against. I love every aspect about you. I believe that you are the perfect girl for me to be with and I like your blue eyes, beautiful face, long hair, slim body and your attitude to life. I know that you can become a stronger trainer." Misty was happy to hear that.

"Ash, you are the first boy that I knew much about and from seeing other boys like Gary and Rudy and you, I love you ony as you are the type I love and which is extremely rare which is the kind, caring, honest person that you are. Legendary Pokemons trust you due to your kindness. I will make sure to trave with you as much as I can." Ash was happy to hear that.

"So you and I are a perfect match as I also like a girl who is kind, caring, and selffless like you! Let us go and see my Pokemons!" Misty nodded on hearing that.

"Yes, let's go and see your Pokemons as I would love to see them again!"

Ash and Misty then ran in the direction of Professor Oak's Lab for some time and Pikachu saw them and ran. Dawn opened the door of the house and saw the two going in the direction of the Lab and she went inside and told others about the same. Ash and Misty continued to run and they came across three young trainers who were two boys and one girl. One boy had brown hair while the other boy had raven hair, the girl had blonde hair.

"It is Ash, the Alola Champion, and Misty, the leader of the toughest gym which is Cerulean Gym! It is amazing to meet you two! I can also see Ash's Pikachu who is strong! Hi, Pikachu!" the raven haired boy said and Ash and Misty smiled. Pikachu smiled and said "Pika!"

"Pikachu is my starter Pokemon!" Ash said.

"You two are so close!" the brown haired boy said.

"Yes, we are close. Could you show the starters you have chosen? I just want to meet them and if you are not showing, that is fine!" Ash told the three children.

The raven haired boy released his starter which was a Bulbasaur, the brown haired boy released his starter which was Charmander and the blonde girl released her starter which was Squirtle. Ash and Misty smiled and waved their hands at the starter Pokmons who smiled at them.

"You can come with me and Misty to see our Pokemons!" the thre children nodded to what Ash said.

Ash and Misty then went and opened the gate with the three children following them. Ash and Misty then climbed the stairs for some time to reach the field and the three children also followed Ash and Misty and reached the field. Ash and Misty walked in the field with the three hildren following Ash and Misty. Ash and Misty then saw Bulbasaur running to them and launching a sign and all of Ash's Pokemons ran to him.

"These are my Pokemons! You can play with them as they are gentle."

The three children then ran and the brown haired boy went to the fire Pokemons while is Charmander looked at awe at Ash's Charizard, the raven haired boy went to the grass Pokemons and his Bulbasaur interacted with Ash's Bulbasaur, and the blonde girl went to the water Pokemons and her Squirtle interacted with Ash's Squirtle. Pikachu also ran to interact with the children and the children played with Pikachu.

"Ash, you have an amazing group of Water Pokemons! Your Dracovish has done an amazing job in the Masters 8, defeating Cynthia's Roserade and making Cynthia's Milotic to lose health. You are amazing in training Water Pokemons and I indeed have a lot to learn from you." Ash was happy for being acknowledged as an amazing trainer.

"Misty, you are also an amazing trainer and you have done well to mae Ceruelan Gym to be the toughest gym in Kanto. You recently managed to defeat Paul, the Viridian City Gym Leader, which is amazing. Paul is a very strong trainer and for you managing to defeat Paul is an amazing task!" Misty was happy that Ash aknowledged her strengths.

"It was a tough match but my Pokemons were able to defeat Paul's Pokemons. He even commented that my battle style was similar to your battle style which mean that I learned a lott from you by traveling with you. I am grateful to have traveled with you as that made me from a beginning trainer to being the strongest gym leader in Kanto." Misty was happy to have traveled with Ash.

"I will make sure to give an amazing battle to the three children when they come to challenge the gym if I am not traveling with you." Ash nodded on hearing that from Misty.

"If you go too hard on them, they will not be able to get badges so give them a tough but not impossible fight." Misty smiled and nodded.

"Yes, I will make sure of that if I get to battle with them. I know that I have to give them a tough but not impossible fight when they battle for the badge."

"Misty, I would like you to train a few of my Pokemons like Totodile, Corphish, Buizel, Kingler, and Palpitoad. I am sure that you can train them well as you are amazing in training Water type Pokemons. It is just that in my travels, I did not have much oppurtunity to train them." Misty nodded on hearing that.

"Yes, Ash, I will help you! I know that I wanted Totodile for myself but you were the one who won the match to decide to whom Totodile would belong to, however I am fine with you owing Totodile and wanting me to train Totodile." Ash smiled on hearing that.

"Misty, if you want, I can give Totodile to you just like how I was ready to give my Z-ring to you in Alola." Misty knew that Ash is ready to give his things to her if she asked.

"You and Totodile have forged a bond together so I would say that you can keep Totodile. Besides, I have a Water Starter Pokemon which is my Primarina. However, I am happy to know that you would give your things to me if I asked you for them." Ash nodded on hearing that.

"Ash and Misty, we had fun, and we are ready to start our adventures." the raven haired boy said.

"I will give you a piece of advice! Treat your Pokemon well and as though you were their friend and they will give their all for you." Ash told the children.

"I also have an advice! Take good care of Pokemons even if you have faced losses in battles and cheer them." Misty told the children.

"Thank You, Ash and Misty, we will all depart!" the blonde haired girl said and the three children ran. Pikachu then jumped to be on Ash's shoulder.

Ash and Misty then ran and left the field and then Ash and Misty reached the stairs. Ash and Misty then climbed down the stairs to reach the gate and Ash opened the gate and Ash and Misty left the lab and Misty closed the gate. Ash and Misty then ran to the house and then in some time reached the gate.

"We can go together inside the house." Ash told and Ash and Misty then walked to enter the house and then the lights were off and then everyone yelled "Congratulations!" to Ash and Ash shouted "Thank You!" Ash went to sit in the sofa and Misty sat next to him.

Ash noticed some of his friends formed a separate group and were discussing something away. Then May, who was in that group yelled "All of Ash's friends, come to Ash's mother's room!" and then the group went and entered the room. Ash then saw some of his other friends enter the room.

"Ash, I will go and have a look on what they want to say!" Misty then got up and Ash followed her and Misty entered the room.

Ash saw the group whispering something and other friends looking annoyed on hearing that. Ash could hear someting about "Ash can give up his dream!" and Ash was annoyed to hear that they would speak something like that and heard Misty say "No, he can acheive his dream!" loudly and Ash smiled. Ash then saw Dawn come out of the room and Dawn released Buneary who was interacting with Pikachu.

"Ash, we can go and see your room!"

"What was it that they were speaking?" Ash wanted answers.

"Ash, some are disappointed in you despite you being so strong. Leave them, you are an amazing trainer!" Ash smiled on hearing that.

"Fine, I will go with you!"

Ash then went to the stairs with with Dawn and then reached the stairs. Ash and Dawn then climbed the stairs and then reached the corridor. Ash and Dawn then walked in the corridor to reach the door to the room and then Ash and Dawn entered the room.

"Ash, could you lie on the bed?" Dawn asked earnestly.

Ash then lay on the bed and Dawn waited for him to sleep.

"Ash, I request you to turn away from me!" Dawn asked Ash in a kind tone.

"Sure, Dawn!"

Ash then turned and then he somehow felt a prick, felt sleepy and then Ash slept.

Present...

Ash and Misty were in Indigo Plateau, and were in the Champion's quarters which was large and they were sitting on the sofa next to the television. Ash wore a shirt that resembled his dress he wore when he traveled in Kanto, Orange Islands, and Johto but had red instead of blue while Misty wore a black dress. Ash and Misty were broken by the events that took place but due to the help of people like Cynthia, they were able to recover.

Ash said "Misty, I have modernized Indigo Plateau and it seems like Kanto would be the place where the next Pokemon World Tournament would take place. This time, there are nine regions which would compete for the Pokemon Master title."

Misty replied "There is still a chance it could take place in Kanto..."

Ash then said to reassure Misty "It is exactly what I believe; Kanto is the only region that does not organise one of these tournaments because, in comparison to most regions, its Pokémon league is quite young. These tournaments, which take place every five years, have previously been held in Sinnoh, Paldea, Unova, Kalos, and Hoenn. Since Wattson has just finished building the town and ensuring that everything else is in order, I think Mr. Goodshow will see this as an excellent opportunity to promote Kanto."

He then groaned. "And as for me, I concur with him. The more the merrier, though. We've come a long way in Kanto, reindustrialising it and making it one of the most developed places ever, all while maintaining Kanto's natural beauty and splendour."

Misty smiled while she spoke "Kanto was an industrial powerhouse a long time ago but it did not invest in clean sources of power and soon was filled with a lot of pollution. Many companies left Kanto and set up newer factories which used clean power in other regions. Kanto was deindustrializing while having the effectis of pollution linger. But after you became Champion, Kanto rapidly industrialized with clean power."

Ash nodded while hearing that "Yes, we will hold the Pokemon World Tournament in Indigo Plateau. I have recently developed Indigo Plateau to have resident area, shopping area, tourist area. It is one of the most developed cities. Now is the time to show the world what Kanto is."

Misty knew Ash was correct "You managed to have Cerulean City develop a lot. I love that as my hometown looks much better now."

Ash was happy to hear that "Thanks! I did that for all the residents of Cerulean City. I also wanted to make you happy and so I developed Cerulean City while making sure your suggestions are taken."

Misty then asked as she was curious "Why have you never arrested Brock?"

Ash answered "I am seeing if he will attempt something very abhorrent to arrest him for a long jail time."

Misty smiled on hearing that "I see. You are right to make this decision."

Ash looked at Misty's brown hair and blue eyes which seemed lighter than before and found her looking beautiful while Misty was looking at Ash's brown hair which seemed lighter than before and blue eyes and he looked handsome to her. Ash then kissed Misty on her lips and Misty then deepened the kiss. Ash and Misty were kissing for some time and then they parted and smiled at each other as they were happy.

Ash then said "You look good with your natural red hair as well as with brown hair."

Misty then replied "Thank You! You also look nice with your natural black hair and brown hair. Just like me, you are using lighter brown color than before."

Ash said "They are precaution measures which we both take. I am just being more cautious than before."

Ash and Misty then heard the bell ring and then Ash and Misty got up and walked and left the room. Ash and Misty walked in the hall to reach the door. Ash then opened the door and then Ash and Misty saw Wattson, the man who made Indigo Plateau to be a high tech city.

Wattson said "I have completed the finishing touches and the stadium is completed. Everything is as per your directions. I have also trained the other engineers in maintennce and operation of Indigo Plateau. I was also happy to have worked with you."

Ash smiled on hearing that "It is amazing that you completed this so rapidly. I would give a bonus to you for being this early to complete modernizing Indigo Plateau."

Wattson then nodded and said "If you ever need me, you contact me but otherwise, my job is done here."

Ash and Misty then saw Wattson leave and then Misty closed the door. Ash and Misty walked in the hall to reach the room and then reached the room. Ash and Misty went to the sofa and then sat next to each other on the sofa. Ash and Misty sat quietly for some time, happy to be with each other.

Misty smiled and she asked "Ash, how did you insure Team Rocket to be less of a threat in both Kanto and Johto as I allowed you to do whatever possible against Team Rocket?"

Ash nodded and answered "I got most of the highly skilled trainers captured or leaving Team Rocket. Then it was just Giovanni and his barely trained grunts. Even if Giovanni tried, the grunts left were such that they would not get to be good battlers and in case they became, they would agai be captured or leave Team Rocket."

Misty nodded as he understood his strategy "That is an amazing strategy, you have made Giovanni to be toothless boss of a very weak Team Rocket. You seem to have left him to his devices though."

Ash said "I have thought out and it is that Giovanni cannot do anything much. If he does pose a big threat, his Team Rocket members who were the threat would be made to leave Team Rocket or be captured, any Legendary Pokemon Team Rocket has would be taken away before he even gets it."

Indigo Plateau…

Everyone who lived in Indigo Plateau and the Pokémon League could see the lovely sun beaming brightly on them. Since it took a year to complete the city's contemporary transportation infrastructure, Indigo Plateau itself was a sizable structure. Once they had completed it, they went on to create a variety of amenities—you get the picture. Conclusion: Construction on Indigo Plateau wasn't completely complete until recently.

There were a variety of quadrants included in it, including residential, shopping, and tourist quadrants. Once Ash had won the title, Wattson and Ash had designed the entire island. Along with Indigo Plateau Battlefield, or KBS as some people referred to it, that also included the Pokémon League (Kanto Battle Stadium). The actual battleground was made up of four separate battlefields that could, if necessary, be combined into a single, sizable field. The walls should be ray-shielded to prevent harm if two battles are occurring at once, Wattson had also emphasised to Ash.

The Pokémon League sat on the top of a rather large hill that had a very large backyard as well that the Elites and Champion could use for training. Of course, the inside was also massive, and each of the Elites and the Champion had his or her section to it.

Ash was enjoying the calm weather while strolling through Indigo Plateau's commercial zone. Of course, if he were dressed as usual, people would be lining up to get his autograph. Ash has since changed into blue jeans and blue shoes. He changed from his customary red vest to a red, white, and blue sweatshirt. The sweatshirt's arms and the majority of its centre were white, with red covering the sweatshirt's shoulders and arms. However, a large, blue "X" was visible across the sweatshirt's midsection. He also wore a pokéball cap with stars in blue, red, and white that was red, white, and blue on the back.

He entered a store where he frequently purchased food for his Pokémon. Ironically, no one had yet acknowledged him for who he really was, or if they had, they had chosen to remain silent. When he read the food's label again, he groaned a little and paid for it. With a smile and still-glistening brown eyes, he paid for it.

When he peered up the hill and saw the Pokémon League waiting for him, he walked outside and grinned widely. Then, he heard a scream and looked to see two men and a woman calling out Pokémon as they prepared to fight a young man and an elderly woman who had no Pokémon at all.

Speaking loudly was the tallest male, who was likely the group's leader. " Now, you're going to provide me the Mega Stones immediately, or else, you hear me?" Grimer, Zubat, and Garbodor were the three attackers' names. The two remained still, so the bandits yelled.

"Grimer, use Sludge Wave!"

"Zubat, Poison Fang!"

"Koffing, use Sludge Bomb!"

Witnesses gasped as an explosion caused havoc on the roadway after a dazzling light. Everyone gasped when they saw all three Pokémon fully knocked out after the smoke cleared. The leader yelled out and gasped. What kind of sick joke is this, you ask? They all looked in the direction of a figure standing across from them at that point. It was a man, but the explosion's smoke and the dust it produced kept his identity a mystery. The man had two Pokémon on display: a Pink Cat and some kind of Fire Honey Badger. Through the dust, the man was heard. "That is not how the folks here should be treated, is it? "

One of the group's girls yelled. "Who do you believe you to be?"

The younger man continued. "Yeah! Team Rocket owns this place!"

As the dust gradually disappeared, the man said. Red, my name is you. A Mew and Typhlosion were standing by his side as the dust totally disappeared. "... And I'm the Kanto Champion!" From Team Rocket to the onlookers, there was a round of gasps. People started clapping, cheering, and whispering loudly among themselves.

"I-I don't think it's true!"

"Yes, that's him!"

"Red," as in the name of the strongest trainer in Kanto?

"He's going to beat them flat!"

The Team Rocket grunts were now perspiring profusely in the background. The boss stumbled. " He's red, right? The girl appeared to have lost all of her facial colour. " If you ask me, it might be a good time to take a break." The final person was already fleeing, leaving a trail of dust in his wake. "Yep, you said it."

In just five more seconds, the three were all gone. The onlookers erupted in a loud cheer as they stood with their leader. The young man and the elderly woman came up to Ash. The man gave Ash a handshake and stated. "You rescued us! How would we ever pay you back?" said the elderly woman. Please give us something to show our appreciation. Ash chuckled and remarked. "Hey, no worries! Just as any nice person would, I'm assisting someone else who is in need."

He then gave both Pokémon back and summoned his Talonflame. He sent out one final wave to the onlookers before charging the Pokémon League on his regal fire type.
