11. Chapter 11 The Final Member

Chapter 11. The Final Member

Night had currently fallen over Jump City and everything was relatively calm. See normally the city was a hub for crime during the night. However, since Naruto and his team had appeared most criminals were either dead or too afraid to show themselves. Though there was still the few exceptions of those who were brave or stupid enough to continue their illegal activities.

Currently a large group of those exceptions were meeting in an abandoned building. See said meeting was a gathering of a few crime bosses of Jump City, all of whom were discussing their new problem being Naruto and his team. The gathering was fairly small, only consisting of five crime bosses and their armed guards.

"These new vigilantes are a pain in my ass!" A man spoke up, while he slammed his hands onto a meeting table. "It was bad enough working around the Teen Titans, but these new guys play by different rules!"

"I know what you're saying Tony." Another crime boss spoke up in anger. "These fuckers have killed twelve of my best guys in the past week."

"They're bad for business." A female amongst the group admitted. "We should take them out."

"Maybe we can turn the Teen Titans on them? Then use that distraction to push or own agendas!"

"Hmm that's a solid plan." A voice from above commented, one that sent everyone present on panic.

Guns being pointed up into the rafters, all the criminals present noticed the Black Fox gazing down at them.

"Too bad you guys are not gonna leave here alive." Black Fox declared before gunfire forced him to jump away.

"You're dead pu-. . ." A criminal began before an arrow to the neck silenced him.

"He's just one man!" A criminal shouted before a figured landed behind him.

"You'd be wrong about that." Vixen laughed as she gave the unsuspecting criminal a spin kick to the head. Knocking him unconscious and forcing a few criminals to turn towards her with their weapons.

Though before any could shoot a couple were hit with arrows, while others were constricted by shadows on the floor. Seeing this Vixen nodded in the direction of her teammates and jumped into action disarming and knocking out thugs.

While this was going on a lone crime boss was fleeing the scene, but as he turned back to look at the battle he was suddenly knocked onto his backside. This caused the man to look up in fear and meet a vigilante he had never seen before.

Said vigilante was dressed similarly to Black Fox and Vixen, but there was a few key differences. For example on his thigh the man had a large knife strapped to his leg, along with an ammo pouch and two gun holsters. Though the biggest difference was his blood red helmet that was slightly hidden over a black hood. This was of course the newest member of the Outlaws, Red Hood.

"And where do you think you're going?" Red Hood asked, while he pointed two guns down at the man.

"I. . . I uh-. . ." The criminal stuttered before Red Hood unleashed a barrage of bullets into his chest. Killing the man instantly and without remorse.

"Straight to hell that's where." Red Hood finished.

Landing beside Red Hood, Black Fox patted his friend's back. "Good work. And how does it feel to be taking crime out again?"

Spinning his guns in hand before placing them into their holsters, Red Hood chuckled. "It feels damn good, I'm glad to be back in business. Especially when we are taking these assholes out the right way."

Black fox nodded. "Absolutely, that's why we're friends J. You know what it takes to really fight crime."

"Well what can I say, this way gets more results." Red Hood pointed out, while he and Black Fox started to walk over to their other teammates.

"Speaking of results good work team!" Black Fox praised before placing his bow onto his back.

Removing his mask Shikamaru rolled his eyes. "Yeah another mass murder of criminals." The teenager replied in an annoyed voice. "Really helps paint us as the hero's of the city and not a group of criminals ourselves."

Removing his helmet Jason scoffed. "Who cares what people think of us, we get the job done and the city is safer for it."

Naruto nodded in agreement and removed his mask. "Jason is right, but we should bail before the cops or Teen Titans show up."

"Yeah you're right." Artemis chimed in. "We have enough to deal with thanks to Slade."

"Speaking of which." Naruto began as he started to walk off. "That dickwad will probably contact us soon."

"Oh boy." Jason mumbled in an unenthusiastic tone. "I can't wait to meet the boss man."

"Well you may meet him sooner than you think." The voice of Harley announced through each of the Outlaw's earpieces. "Slade just sent a message requesting a meeting with you four."

Naruto sighed and placed his mask back on. "Give me the location."

(One hour later)

Walking together, the four members of the Outlaws came into a closed off shipping yard. One that was heavily littered with cargo crates and machinery. Honestly it was the perfect place to stage an ambush, or that was at least what Naruto and Jason were thinking.

"So when is Slade gonna stop wasting our time and show up?" Artemis whined, while she leaned against a cargo container.

Folding his arms and standing straight, Naruto glanced over to his female friend. "Be on alert and don't let your guard down."

Rolling her eyes and removing herself from the container, Artemis held her hands out. "It's not like we have anything to worry about. Slade wants to use us, not take us out."

Jason scoffed at the girl's claim. "You don't know that, besides you never know if Dick and his little friends are onto us."

"Whatever." The girl mumbled in response, as she was starting to think Jason was more annoying than her leader.

"You three are all troublesome." Shikamaru grumbled, while the young genius tried to block everyone out and focus.

"But make a well oiled machine." The smooth voice of Slade praised, while all the Outlaws turned to the man. Who was slowly walking out of the shadows. "I take it you're Red X?"

Jason placed a hand to his hip and scoffed. "I go by Red Hood now. Though with all you've learned about my teammates I'm surprised you didn't know that yet."

Slade chuckled and shook his head. "You'd be surprised about how much I do know. However, what you call yourself is irrelevant. Let's get down to business."

Stepping forward, Naruto glared at Slade through his mask. Since the blond wasn't in the most clear mindset. "Alright Slade, tell me where my sister is."

"Right to the point." Slade began, while he tossed a flash drive to Naruto, who caught the device with ease. "Your sister is dead."

Tightening his hands, Naruto grabbed his bow and was about to attack. Though Slade held his hands up and laughed.

"Don't be so hasty child, don't forget this isn't the first time your sister has died." Slade explained before pointing forward. "That flash drive will explain how she died by protecting the Teen Titans. It also has schematics for the Titans Tower. See your sister was turned to stone and the Titans kept her in an underground memorial."

Naruto tossed the flash drive to Shikamaru. "So the Titans have what's left of Mito."

Slade nodded. "And you shall steal her back and then I will resurrect her once more. That's why I had you add your newest addition to your team. He has stolen from the Teen Titans before. So there should be no issues reclaiming Terra- . . . I mean Mito."

Naruto looked back to Jason. "Is what he says true?"

Red hood simply nodded. "Yeah, Robin uses the same security as Batman. If you're familiar with it it's easy to bypass. That's how I originally stole the Red X costume without any of the Titans knowing."

Naruto nodded, as he trusted Jason to come through. "Alright Slade we will get Mito back, but then what?"

Slade chuckled and turned his back to the Outlaws. "The flash drive has a randevu point where you will deliver Mito. I will then revive the girl and hand her over to you. Shortly after we will talk about your first assignment." Slade explained vaguely, while the man casually walked off.

"You know I really don't like anything about this." Artemis shared with the group, while Naruto simply sighed.

"None of us do." The leader of the group began, while he glanced over to Shikamaru. "Shikamaru I want you to rip that flash drive for all the information it has. Then I want you and J to strategize a plan to take Mito back."

Shikamaru nodded. "I'll have something ready within the next few hours."

"Hey Naruto." Jason began, while folding his arms. "You're dating Raven right?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah I am, why do you ask?"

Jason smirked and looked to the right, as the shipping yard they were in had a direct line of sight to the Titans Tower.

"Well have you ever visited your girlfriends house?" The former sidekick of Batman asked.

"No I haven't." Naruto admitted honestly.

"Well you might want to." Jason began softly, as he held his hand out. "I mean think about it Naruto, you can infiltrate the tower and scout the area for any changes in security. Meanwhile all the Titans won't suspect anything. They will just think Raven's boyfriend is spending time with her."

Artemis raised her eyebrow. "That's actually a good point. I'm surprised you of all people came up with it. Guess you're more than just a trigger happy meathead."

Jason glared at Artemis. "Bite me princess." The teenage vigilante repiled, while Artemis stuck her tongue out and blew a raspberry. "Don't forget I was trained by Batman and have pulled a few over the Teen Titans already. I'm filled with uses."

Naruto frowned, as he knew a time would come when he would have to use his relationship with Raven to manipulate the girl. However, the idea felt wrong to him. "Well you've been inside the tower Jason, what would I have to look for?"

"Actually I have a better idea." Shikamaru suddenly spoke up, causing Jason to hold his tongue. "I could make you a small device that could hack me into the Titan Tower's mainframe just by you being in a close proximity to the Tower. From there with Jason's help I could make breaking into the Titans Tower easy."

Jason rubbed his chin and pondered over the idea. "That would work even better and I know Dick would never see that coming. So Naruto you should plan for Raven to invite you over. Meanwhile me and Shikamaru will make a bugging device to patch us into the Mainframe."

Naruto nodded slowly, as Jason was talking about a solid plan. "Okay then what?"

"Simple." Shikamaru replied with a smirk. "We plan a heist to steal Mito from under the Titan's noses. Since it would be easy to create a diversion somewhere to get them away from the Tower. Then with a disabled security system we could walk in steal Mito and never get caught."

"Okay." Naruto began, while he slowly unbuttoned a pouch and pulled out his cellphone. "I'll text Raven about coming over to her place. Can you have something ready by tomorrow?"

Shikamaru scoffed. "I could have something ready by the hour." The genius of the team declared.

(With Raven)

Running in desperation, Raven tried her hardest to escape the large looming shadow that was chasing her. However, no matter how fast she ran or how many corners she took, Raven was unable to escape the large shadow. Then to make matters worse the female hero found she could no longer fly. So she was truly running out of options.

"Stay away!" Raven yelled loudly, as she slowly tripped on a piece of rubble and stumbled forward. Then landing onto her forearms, Raven heard a loud chuckling from behind her.

"You can't escape your fate." A smooth and deep voice bellowed. "Give in to me!"

"No, no, stay away!" Raven yelled before lifting her arms over her head to shield herself. "I won't be your tool!"

The voice chuckled darkly and Raven felt a hot burning sensation cover her body. Forcing the girl to grind her teeth in agony.

"But you will!" The voice declared with booming anger. "You will give into your darkness and then I will be free!"

"No I refuse!" Raven yelled in hysteria, while she began to tremble in pain.

"Struggle all you wish, but the darkness." The voice took a pause and unleashed a loud and victorious laugh. "The darkness has already consumed you! There isn't a shred of light left in you child and that heralds my return!"

"No you're lying!" Raven replied with tears in her eyes, as she started to feel hopeless. However, through her closed eyes a piercing white light began to shine down onto her. Then almost instantly the pain and burning sensation vanished, leaving Raven surprised.

"Hey what's the matter?" A familiar voice laughed, filling Raven with a calming aura. "There is no need to be afraid. I'm here for you."

Opening her eyes, Raven looked up to a blinding light. Where the silhouette of a familiar figure was holding a hand out to Raven. This caused the hero to smile and lift her hand up, reaching out to the person. However, as her hand grew closer to the individual the light began to grow brighter and brighter. Then the moment Raven was about to grab the hand she shot up and out of her bed. Realizing everything was a dream and she was currently in her bedroom.

"It was all just another nightmare." Raven began before massaging her face, but her eyes quickly noticed a shining light that was illuminating her dark bedroom.

This caused the hero to glance to her nightstand, where her cellphone was located. Then by using her powers she floated the device to her hand and pushed her hair back. Smiling once she noticed that Naruto was calling her, as right now she needed to hear his voice. So accepting the call, Raven brought the phone to her ear.

"Hey Rachel." Naruto began in a nervous voice through the other end. "I didn't wake you did I?"

Raven smiled and pulled her legs close to her chest. "You did, but it's okay. I. . . I wasn't having the best sleep anyway."

"Is everything okay?" Naruto asked almost instantly, showing his genuine care for the girl.

"It's nothing to worry about." Raven replied in a stubborn voice, while she slowly twirled her hair. "Was there something you needed? Are you okay?"

Naruto chuckled on the other end. "I'm fine, but I got a sudden idea and wanted to ask you something."

Raven lifted her eyebrow and looked to her clock, noticing it was rather late. "Well let's hear it then."

"Well I was wondering if I could come over to your place tomorrow and hang out." Naruto began nervously.

"Why would you want to come over? I mean I don't have a problem with it, it's just you've never came over before." Raven pointed out softly.

"Well I was thinking that I wanted to spend more time with you, but I can't lie. I do have a hidden agenda." Naruto admitted in an honest tone, while a slight pause filled their call. "See I want to get the chance to be around your team. I know things with you guys have been rough and I'm particularly responsible for that. So I was hoping to get closer to your friends since I know they are important to you."

Raven smiled at Naruto's response. "You don't have to do that, especially after how they treated you."

"I know that." Naruto replied softly, while he started to feed more into his lies. "However, I want to show I'm better than someone who holds silly grudges. So what do you say? Can I come over tomorrow?"

"Yeah you can." Raven declared in a happy tone, as she truly loved the young boy on the other end of the phone.

"Awesome!" Naruto yelled in victory before chuckling to himself. "But I'll need you to pick me up. You kinda live on an island after all, well I could always just buy a yacht or maybe a helicopter!"

Raven let a small sweat drop roll down her forehead. "I don't think I'll ever get use to you being filthy rich." The girl admitted with a soft giggle. "But don't get ahead of yourself and buy anything! I'll pick you up and fly you over!"

Naruto laughed in response. "Alright sounds good, but I might buy one anyway. It's embarrassing for a billionaire to not have a yacht or helicopter!"

Raven shook her head. "You're too much."

"But you still love me!" Naruto responded almost instantly.

Raven nodded and clutched the phone tightly. "More than you'll ever know." The girl admitted honestly. "You make me better than I am, you're my light Naruto."

On the other end Naruto smiled. "I could say the same about you." The blond began before taking a long sigh. "I love you."

"And I love you too Naruto, but we should both get some sleep." Raven pointed out.

"Yeah you're right. I'll see you tomorrow!" Naruto replied before the call ended, leaving Raven alone with her thoughts.

"You'll never win father." Raven began with confidence, while the girl slowly laid herself down to sleep. "Naruto is a light that overshadows your darkness." The girl finished, while she slowly closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep.

(The next day, with Naruto and Raven)

In the main living room of the Titans Tower, Naruto and Raven were snuggled against each other on the Titan's large black couch. Currently the couple was watching a rather popular cartoon, well watching wasn't the correct term. Considering Naruto was laughing hysterically and pointing at the large television screen. Meanwhile Raven was stewing in anger and glaring at her boyfriend.

"It's not that funny." Raven finally mumbled in annoyance.

Whipping a tear from his eye, Naruto continued to snicker to himself. "This! Is! Fucking! Gold!" The assassin yelled out loudly, while Raven's eyebrow twitched.

However, what was the show that the young couple were watching? The answer was a parody show of the Teen Titans called Teen Titans Go. A show that created small cartoon versions of the famous heroes and placed them into ridiculous and humiliating situations. This of course was a show that didn't set well with any members of the Titans, even Beast Boy who normally enjoyed the spotlight.

Naruto on the other hand thought the show was great, mainly because it gave him teasing material to use against his girlfriend.

"This show is degrading." Raven began in a dark and angry voice. "I am the daughter of the most dark force in the universe not a- . . ."

"Fucking brony!" Naruto laughed loudly, while looking straight at Raven. The latter of whom looked like she was about to kill her boyfriend.

"Call me a brony again, I dare you." Raven challenged, while her eyes turned completely red.

Not intimidated in the slightest, Naruto looked at Raven with a large smirk. Since he was about to continue his teasing, but a new voice on the television made him stop.

"Titans you'll never stop me from stealing all the Pegasus figurines! As I The Black Hood am the ultimate Pretty Pretty Pegasus fan!" A cartoon and miniature version of Naruto's alter ego yelled hysterically, making Naruto look at the television with a twisted grin.

"Something the matter Naruto?" Raven asked, while looking right at her boyfriend.

Shaking his head Naruto laughed. "Haha they even got that Black Hood idiot and made him a fucking brony too! This show is great!" The vigilante began before looking to the side and grinding his teeth. 'Note to self, murder everyone who makes that goddamn show.' The assassin added to himself in thought.

Raven rolled her eyes and blew out some air. "Whatever." The girl mumbled in annoyance. "I just can't wait till they add you as my boyfriend and make an idiot out of you too."

Naruto turned to Raven and grinned. "At that point I'd just buy their entire studio and burn it to the ground." The young billionaire replied, while he tried his hardest to suppress his true anger with the show including his alter ego.

"But you'll let them go on as long as it's just me that looks like an idiot." Raven pointed out in annoyance.

"Pretty much!" Naruto began in a smug voice, but his attention was suddenly turned to the opening of the door behind him. Where the other four members of the team could be seen walking inside.

"Yo Rae we are back- . . ." Cyborg announced, but stopped once he noticed Raven and Naruto cuddled together on the couch. "Naruto?"

Beast Boy tilted his head. "What are you doing here?"

Naruto turned around grinned ear to ear and pointed at the four heroes. "Watching my new favorite show with Raven! They made her a fucking bro- . . ." The boy began, but was suddenly constricted by bindings made of darkness.

"I warned you about calling me that!" Raven began in a dark and demonic voice, one that made Naruto look directly at the girl without a single care.

"Oh that's right." Naruto replied without any emotions, while the other members of the Teen Titans watched the young couple with wide eyes. "I'm just not afraid of my adorable little brony!"

Cyborg's jaw dropped. "The stones on this guy." The half man half robot mumbled in shock.

Beast Boy shook his head. "How is he not afraid of Raven?" The green skinned hero asked.

Robin folded his arms and looked at Naruto. "Well he is Harley Quinn's son, so he's probably insane."

Raven glared at Naruto, the latter of whom merely smiled wide at the girl. However, after a few moments the darkness around Naruto faded and the girl sighed in defeat and reclaimed her spot on the couch.

"You win." The half demon girl admitted softly.

"What!" Beast Boy and Cyborg shouted in unison, while Naruto simply kissed Raven on the cheek.

"It's not winning, you just love me too much!" The vigilante declared in a flirty tone, one that made Raven blush.

"Yeah I do." The girl mumbled in response, while also slightly embarrassed about her teammates seeing their entire exchange.

Starfire was practically exploding with joy at seeing the young couple show affection for each other. So much so that she flew over and took a seat right beside Raven.

"Friend Raven it brings me so much of the joy to see you so happy!" Starfire yelled before looking right at Naruto. "You two are more adorable than a Flopnar!"

Naruto laughed nervously. "Uh thanks?" The son of Harley Quinn replied with a small amount of confusion. However, quickly the blond noticed the couch growing more crowded. Since Beast Boy morphed into a dog and jumped onto the cushion right by Naruto's side.

Meanwhile Cyborg jumped over the couch and landed right by Beast Boy, while Robin simply walked calmly over to sit right by Starfire. Raven seeing this had a slight twitch in her eyebrow.

"When did I ask for you four to come over here and sit with us?" Raven asked in a slightly angered voice.

Shifting back into his human form and rubbing the back of his head, Beast Boy looked directly at Raven. "Well you see, uh."

Naruto laughed and patted the boy's shoulder. "Raven it's fine, this is their house. They can be wherever they want to be."

Raven sighed and closed her eyes. "Yeah okay." The girl mumbled in response. "Then we will go."

Naruto rolled his eyes and poked Raven on the forehead. "Be nice." The blond chuckled before giving everyone a friendly smile. "If I'm willing to be nice and make friends. Then there is no reason why you shouldn't make up and forgive your friends."

Raven sighed and folded her arms, as she really wasn't in the mood to forgive the Titans. However, at the same time she couldn't argue against Naruto.

"Fine." The hooded hero grumbled in annoyance, which made Naruto smile.

"That's better!" Naruto began, as he slung his arm around Raven's shoulder. "But you know this is the first time I've got to talk to your team without being interrogated. So what's up Titans?"

All the members of the Teen Titans looked at Naruto with surprised faces at the length he was willing to go to befriend them. Especially after what they had done to the young blond not too long ago. However, what none of the young hero's knew was that Naruto was only extending his time at the tower to get what he really wanted. That of course being his sister Mito or as they knew her Terra.

(Later that night)

"Will this work?" The voice of Naruto began softly, while he rested his foot at the edge of a small blacked out inflated boat. Meanwhile, his eyes glanced up to the large Titans Tower that illuminated the night sky.

Shikamaru scoffed and jumped off the boat and onto the rocky shore of the Titan's island. "Of course it will work Naruto. This is my plan and tech after all."

"I'll hold you to your word then you arrogant bastard." Naruto replied in annoyance, while he walked to Shikamaru's side and held a hand to his ear. "Are the Titans enjoying their distraction?"

The voice of Harley Quinn giggled in Naruto's ear. "Yeah Puddin they are running all over town trying to deal with Ivy. I gotta thank my girl for coming down and making a distraction for us."

"We should have less than thirty minutes to get this done." Jason spoke up, while he joined Naruto's side. "Dick has experience with Poison Ivy and should know how to deal with her. Which sucks cause I was hoping to spray paint a bunch of dicks all over Dick's room!"

Artemis scoffed. "Is that why you brought all the spray cans?"

Jason looked back to the blond female and chuckled. "You know it!"

"As much as I love that idea J, we need to have our focus on Mito." Naruto began, as he started to make his way to the Tower along with everyone else.

Shikamaru watched Naruto stop at the door to the tower and smirked before pressing a small device in his hand. Making the lights on the Titans Tower flicker for a brief moment.

"And the security is down." Shikamaru declared, while he looked down at a small tablet in his hand. "Mito should be in an underground chamber that is accessed from the main elevator."

Naruto nodded and pointed at Shikamaru and Artemis. "I want you two out here and on guard duty. Me and J will retrieve Mito and then we can make our escape."

"You can count on us." Artemis replied, while Naruto nodded and walked into the tower entrance with Jason.

"So do you know where we are heading J?" Naruto asked in a simple voice as he walked further into the tower.

However, as he heard the hiss of a spray can the blond assassin froze in place and his eyebrow twitched.

"J." Naruto began in an annoyed voice, while he saw his friend using a spray can on the wall.

"Hold on." Jason replied as he backed away with a proud smirk, as he looked at the massive red letters that read 'Dick Grayson is a massive pussy'. "I gotta sign my work."

Naruto watched Jason spray 'from wouldn't you like to know' and sighed. "I should have just took Shika with me."

"Nonsense." Jason shot back in an upbeat voice, while he pocketed the spray can and began to walk. "I'm much more efficient and to answer your question there is a service elevator that leads to an underground memorial located right over there."

"Well let's get moving." Naruto began, as he and Jason made their way to the elevator. Then wasting no time they called the door to open and pressed the button for the underground floor.

The duo spent a short amount of time traveling downward, but for Naruto it felt like an eternity and his stomach began to turn. Considering he was mere moments from coming face to face with what remained of the sister he lost all those years ago. Whose supposed demise was one of the main factors that sent Naruto down the path his life went. However, now he was growing ever so close to reclaiming what he had lost.

Though as the elevator stopped and its doors opened, Naruto took a hard swallow and didn't move. Jason noticed this and patted his friend's shoulder and smiled.

"Halfway there partner." The former sidekick of Batman began, while he walked out of the elevator.

Following Jason, Naruto looked around to the rather small cave that they were in. Observing that the area was actually fairly lit and had a single metal pathway that ended at a pedestal with a large statue on top. However, once Naruto and Jason made their approach they saw that this was no statue. In fact it was the petrified remains of Naruto's sister, Mito. A sight that made the blond tremble and remove his mask, allowing Jason to see the streams of tears rolling down his leaders face.

"It's really her." Naruto began in a broken voice, while he reached up and touched his sister's stone cold hand. "I still had my doubts, but looking at her is like looking at old pictures of mom. It's really you Mito. You were alive and alone for so many years, while that bastard Slade used you like a pawn."

"He won't get away with what he's done." Jason commented from behind, while Naruto nodded.

"Yeah he sure as fuck won't." The Black Fox declared in a hushed tone, while Jason merely stepped forward.

"We can plot his demise later Naruto." Jason began in a matter of fact tone, while he grabbed onto Mito. "For now let's get your sister back."

Grabbing onto the other side of his sister, Naruto nodded and began to life the remains up. Meanwhile his blue eyes looked at the petrified face of his sister. "Your almost back little sister and I promise this time I'll keep you safe no matter what."

Standing together around a large bubbling tank, the Outlaws looked up to Slade. The latter of whom was attaching a few harness onto Mito and preparing her for the makeshift Lazarus Pit, as Slade had brought part of the Pit to this current location. Since he would never give away the actual location to such a powerful tool like a Lazarus Pit.

Artemis watched Slade with confusion, as she saw the man attach a few circular cuffs onto each of Mito's wrists. "What is he doing?" The female of the group asked softly.

"Mito has powers like me." Naruto began in a plain voice, while he watched the mercenary work on preparing his sister to be revived. "Those are most likely power dampening cuffs to restrain Mito in the case of a possible outburst."

"Outburst?"

"People revived with a Lazarus Pit tend to go feral and attack anything they see for awhile." Jason spoke up with an emotionless voice, while he dug his hands into his pockets. "Trust me I should know."

"Troublesome." Shikamaru grumbled.

"Well let's get this show on the road." Slade spoke up, while he walked over to a console and began to drop Mito into the tank. Fully submerging the girl in the liquid and concealing her from everyone's view.

Naruto watched with bated breath, as he was at the final stretch of reclaiming his twin sister. However, all that was left to do was let the mystically properties of the Lazarus Pit do its job. Then finally after eleven years he could see his precious sister once again.

"That should be enough." Slade commentened slowly, while he pulled a lever and the harness holding Mito began to rise out of the pit.

The Outlaw's all watched with different expressions, while Mito now freed from her petrified state was limp and unconscious in the harness that was slowly lifting her up into the air. Her appearance completely unchanged from the fateful day she perished saving the Teen Titans.

"Mito!" Naruto yelled at the top of his lungs before rushing to his sister's side.

Slade smirked and lowered Mito down to Naruto. Then as he watched the young vigilante look over the girl he chucked and turned his back. "I'll give you a few days to help Mito recover. After that I'll be in touch for your first true assignment."

Naruto gave no response to the retreating form of Slade. Instead Naruto kept his complete focus on pulling Mito from the harness she was in. Allowing the blond to pull his twin close to his body and bury his head into her long messy hair.

"Big brother is here Mito." Naruto whispered softly into Mito's ear, which earned a slight twitch from the girl. "And I won't let anything happen to you ever again."

Shikamaru, Artemis and Jason all watched the twins with a small smile. Happy that their friend could be reunited with his sister. However, those smiles quickly turned to shocked looks. Considering Mito's eyes quickly snapped open and as cerulean eyes met their identical pair. The newly revived girl suddenly wrapped her hands around Naruto's neck and began to squeeze the life out of the blond.

"Naruto!" Artemis shouted in fear, as she took a step forward and grabbed her bow. Even Shikamaru started to extended his shadow, but they were both stopped by Jason holding out his hand.

"Hold it." The Red Hood ordered sternly. "Let Naruto handle this. He has to reach her."

Artemis frowned and lowered her bow, while Shikamaru recalled his shadow. Then with frowns on their faces they both watched their leader get slowly strangled by his sister. However, Naruto wasn't weak by any means and quickly clamped his hands onto Mito's wrists and pulled the girl's grip loose.

"Mito it's me Naruto your brother!" Naruto yelled loudly, while he locked eyes with his sister noticing the girl's eyes strain in anguish before she released a loud and pain filled scream.

Naruto gritted his teeth, as Mito began to thrash about. Though he knew he couldn't give up now and needed to keep trying to reach his sister.

"My name is Terra." Mito growled in a pain filled voice that surprised everyone listening.

"That is the name Slade forced on you!" Naruto replied without skipping a beat. "Your name is Mito Namikaze and you were taken by Slade and brainwashed. Remember who you really are!"

Just hearing Slade's name was enough to send Mito into a fit of hysteria and pain.

"Slade!" The girl shrieked in anger, while she tried her hardest to free herself from Naruto's hold.

"Mito calm down!" Naruto began loudly, while he gritted his teeth. "You need to get ahold of yourself and remember who you are!"

"Rahhhhh!" Mito screamed loudly, as she began to get more restless and aggressive. Showing that the girl was getting farther and farther from remembering who she was.

The Outlaws all watched Naruto struggle with his sister with a frown, but were all surprised as a new figure came walking past each one of them. One who walked right up to Naruto and Mito and wrapped themselves over top the two.

"My precious little girl." The voice of Harley Quinn spoke up, making Mito freeze in place. Meanwhile the Crime Queen of Gotham held tightly onto her two children. "Mommy is here Puddin and I promise I'll end this nightmare you've been put through."

Naruto shuddered, as even he was smacked with a wave of familiarity. Considering the woman holding and speaking to him wasn't Harley Quinn the criminal, but instead his mother Harleen Namikaze.

Mito was trembling in her mother's arms, as her voice, smell and smile were all so familiar. In fact slowly the youngest of the Namikaze family began to feel her head throb, while long repressed memories began to resurface.

"M-mom?" Mito began in a confused voice.

Nearly choking on her words, Harley nodded with a tear filled gaze. "Yes Puddin it's me, your mommy and your brother is here too!"

"B-big brother?" Mito spoke up softly making Naruto's eyes water.

"Yeah it's me little sister." Naruto replied happily, while he grinned ear to ear. "Do you remember who you are?"

"I'm Mito Namikaze, but." She took a pause and clutched her head, as she remembered her time as Slade's apprentice and even more so her time with the Teen Titans. "I'm also Terra."

Harley backed away and smiled at the girl. "That's okay sweetie. What matters is that you remember who your family is and that we are here for you."

"Mom." Mito mumbled with a tear filled face. "I missed you so much!"

Harley allowed the girl to barrel into her chest and sob. Then by stroking her daughter's hair the infamous criminal smiled. "You've grown into a beautiful young lady Mito. I'm sure your father would agree to that."

Backing away and looking at her mother, Mito began to rub the tears from her eyes. "I'm so glad to see you both, but can somebody please tell me what's going on?"

"Well what do you remember?" Naruto asked, making his twin look directly at him.

"Um I have faint memories of the party when we were five." Mito explained in a frustrated voice, while she clutched her head. "From there everything is a blur. I remember being raised and trained by Slade for a few years. Then I joined and betrayed the Teen Titans and then betrayed Slade."

Naruto nodded and sighed before rubbing the back of his head and standing to his feet. "Well eleven years ago you and Dad were killed at that party. From what I gathered Slade stole your body and brought you back to life and brainwashed you into believing you were a girl named Terra. From there you lived your life before sacrificing yourself to save the Teen Titans."

"But I'm alive now." Mito pointed out. "How am I alive by the way?"

"Short version a mystical pool called the Lazarus Pit. Long explanation Slade is blackmailing me and forcing me and my team to work for him. Part of the deal involves reviving you to bring onto my team."

"Wait you are involved with Slade?" Mito began in a confused voice, while she looked between her brother and mother. "Just what have you been up to in the last fifteen years? From my memories living as Terra I know mom became a crime boss, but I don't know anything about you Naruto."

"Well after you died, Dad's old mentor Ra's Al Ghul took me in as a member of the League of Assassins." Naruto explained making Mito's eyes grow wide.

"You are a member of the League?" Mito asked in a shocked voice.

"Ex-member to be exact. Ra's let me go to pursue the people who were responsible for what happened to you and Dad. I'm surprised you know about the League." Naruto admitted.

"Slade told me about them a few times." Mito explained in a matter of fact tone.

"Makes sense." Naruto replied in a casual voice. "But I spent eleven years in the League and when I turned sixteen went on a manhunt to avenge you and Dad. Eventually I landed in Jump City and formed a small elite team called the Outlaws. We are a group of vigilantes, but Slade has me under his thumb. He knows my true identity along with the truth behind what happened to you and Dad. So I'm working for him until I get what I want. After that I'll eliminate him like every other person I've ever killed."

"That bastard will pay for what he did to our family." Harley added in a razor sharp tone that Mito had never heard from her mother. Allowing her to see how the woman had truly changed over the last eleven years.

Mito shivered, as she could finally see just how different her brother and mother have become over the last eleven years in her time gone. One had become a heartless killing machine, while the other was a ruthless crime boss.

"So mom is a crime boss and you're an ex-assassin vigilante. Meanwhile Slade has you under his influence due to the information he holds." Mito summarized, which made Naruto nod.

"That's about it." Naruto began, while he dug his hands into his pockets.

"You forgot to mention your girlfriend Puddin!" Harley spoke up in a teasing voice, which made Naruto turn bright red and look to the side.

"That's not important information." Naruto mumbled in an embarrassed voice.

Mito raised her eyebrow and chuckled softly. "So big bro has a girlfriend? Well who is she?" The female twin asked, while she looked over her shoulder. "I'm guessing that's your team over there? You and that blond girl striking up a romance?"

"No way!" Naruto and Artemis yelled at the same time, which made Mito snicker.

"Well who is it then?" Mito asked with interest, as she wanted to learn as much about her long lost brother as possible. "I'm sure it's nobody I know."

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that!" Harley began in a sing song voice, while she grinned wide. "You were a Teen Titan with her after all!"

Both twins turned pale at the same time and looked right at each other.

'Oh god why is she making that face?' Naruto thought with dread.

'Oh please be Star, hell anyone besides her.' Mito thought with an equal amount of dread as her brother, while her thoughts drifted to a certain hooded Titan.

"Your brother is dating Raven!" Harley shouted in a giddy voice.

"Oh fuck it is her!" Mito yelled loudly, while Naruto's jaw dropped.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Naruto yelled back.

Mito sighed and rubbed her head. "Well me and Rae never saw eye to eye. I mean we kinda got along there towards the end, but after the whole double cross business I think she probably hates me again. Though technically for all she knows I'm dead. Wait does she know I'm alive? How close are you to the Titans?"

"Raven knows me as Naruto Namikaze and doesn't know about my alter ego Black Fox. I'm technically dating my enemy, as the Titans have been trying to arrest me since I arrived in Jump City. Apparently the whole assassinating people for an eleven year old vendetta is pretty illegal!"

Mito shook her head at her brother's behavior. Despite eleven years and everything he has gone through there was still some of that old goofball she knew.

"Well you mentioned adding me to your team." Mito spoke up, as she wanted to move the conversation away from Raven and the rest of her old team. "I won't lie to you Naruto, I'm still really confused and I'm doing my best to process everything. However, I want you to know I'll stand by you no matter what. I've always been lost in life and learning what you've told me I can understand why. I'm ready to move on with my life and reclaim my family."

Naruto smiled and wrapped an arm over Mito's shoulder. "Well little sister we have a lot of work ahead of us, but let me introduce you to my friends and our team. The Outlaws."

"Shikamaru Nara, aka Shadow Man." Naruto began, as he pointed to the teenager. "He makes all our tech and is a flat out genius."

Shikamaru smirked and folded his arms. "Nice to meet you Mito. I hope you're not as troublesome as your brother."

Rolling his eyes Naruto moved his hand to the next person. "Artemis Crock, aka Vixen. She's a Gotham kid like us and is my sidekick."

"I'm not your damn sidekick! We are a team!" Artemis began before scoffing loudly. "But I'm glad to meet you Mito. You don't know how happy I am to add another girl to this team!"

"And last, but not least! Jason Todd, aka Red Hood!" Naruto introduced, making Jason nod his head.

"Welcome to the team Mito." Jason greeted in a cheerful tone.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Mito spoke up, while she scratched her head. "So what's next?"

Naruto grinned from ear to ear. "How about I show you my bookstore?"
