UA's Saiyan Heroes

"We made it in time for the exams." Izumi sighed in relief as she approached the gates of U.A, with Athena and Kaen.

"Yeah, it was a close call, but we managed to make it on time." Athena said.

"So where's the Support Course exam taking place?" Kaen asked.

"Auditorium two." Athena exclaimed. "The Hero Course is auditorium one, right?"

"That's right." Kaen smiled.

"KAEN."

Kaen didn't even have to turned around to see who had called his name, and smiled as Mina ran up to him, and tried to grab his tail, but was unable to as he moved it causing her to grab nothing but air.

"Nice try." Kaen smirked. "But try not to call out my name next time if you're wanting to take me by surprise."

"I'll get that prize you promised me, if it's the last thing I do." Mina said.

"Prize? What is she talking about?" Athena asked.

"Kaen promised to give me a prize if I ever managed to grab his tail." Mina exclaimed. "An' I'm gonna get it."

"What exactly did you promise her?" Izumi asked.

"That, is a secret." Kaen said.

"He promised to take me to Disney World over summer break." Mina said.

"Kaen do you know how expensive a trip like that is?" Athena inquired.

"It'll be fine, by the time she actually does manage to get my tail, I'll have more than enough money saved up. Dad's helping me with getting it out of the bank in American." Kaen said. "I've actually already got half the money saved up, from my part time job. It pays quite well."

"What exactly do you do for work?" Mina asked.

"I'm an assistant martial arts instructor." Kaen said.

"That's so cool." Mina said stars in her eyes.

"Out of my way Deku, Monkeys." Katsumi exclaimed, shoving her way through the group. "Move before I set you all on fire."

"What's her deal?" Mina asked.

"That's Katsumi Bakugo. She and Izumi are rivals." Athena said. "She also pecked Kaen on the cheek ten months ago as a thank you for saving her life."

"Athena, how many times do I have to tell you? She didn't actually mean anything by it."

'Boys.' Mina, Athena, and Izumi thought.

"Well, let's head off to our respective auditoriums. My exams will be done before yours, so I'm gonna head out as soon as I'm done." Athena said.

"Alright see ya sis." Kaen said.

~Auditorium One~

"What's up U.A Candidates, thanks for tuning into me, your school DJ. C'mon and let me hear ya." Present Mic called out, setting his ear to the crowd, only to get no one in response. "Keeping it mellow huh? I can dig it. "Let's talk about how this practical exam's gonna go down, okay? Are you ready? Yeah. Like your application said, today you rocking boys and girls will be out there rocking ten minute mock battles in super hip urban settings. Gird your loins my friends, after I drop the mic here, you'll be heading for your specified battle center, sound good?" Present Mic asked.

Kaen and Izumi picked up the cards they were handed when they came into the auditorium. After looking at his card, he turned to Mina who was sitting beside him and saw they were in the same mock city as Izumi, who was sitting to Katsumi's left.

"Okay-okay, let's check out your targets. There are three types of faux villains in every battle center. You'll earn points based on their levels of difficulty, so better choose wisely." Present Mic exclaimed. "Your goal in this trial is to use your Quirk to raise your score, by shredding these faux villains like a mid-song guitar solo. But check it, make sure you're keeping face in throwing. Attacking other examinees is a U.A-No-no, you dig?"

"Excuse me sir but I have a question." A student in a school uniform, glasses, and rough dark hair exclaimed, standing up and raising his hand. This is Tenya Iida, a stickler for the rules and has a bit of a habit of moving his right arm like a robots.

"Hit me." Present Mic said as a spot light landed on the student who raised his hand.

"On the printout, you've listed four types of villains, not three." The student stated. "With all respect, if this is an error on official U.A materials, it's shameful. We are, exemplary students, expect the best from Japans best school. A mistake such as this won't due." Tenya exclaimed before turning his attention to Athena. "Additionally you with the unkempt spiky black hair." He stated, pointing directly at Kaen.

"Hmm?" Kaen inquired. "What do you want four eyes?"

"You've been acting immature this entire time, stop that. If you can't bother to take this seriously, then you don't deserve to call yourself a hero, so leave." Iida stated.

"An' what gives you the right to tell me that huh? You're not some big shot who has power over others, you're a student just like me. So if you think you are worthy of being a hero with that attitude, then you should be the one to leave. Do you even know what the true mark of a hero is? If not then think about it, I'm sure it'll come to you before the end of the year." He said, causing the other examinees to laugh a bit.

Iida was silent, hearing that, he was about to rebuttal Kaen's remark, before Present Mic stepped in.

"Alright that's enough. The fourth villain is just an obstacle, worth zero points." The Voice Hero said. "It's not that it can't be beaten, but there's just no point as doing so, won't raise your score by any considerable margin. That's all I got for you today. I'll sign off with a little present, a sample of our school motto. As general Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down, a true hero is one who overcomes life's misfortunes. Mhmm, not that's a tasty soundbite. You ready to, Go Beyond? Let's hear a, Plus Ultra. Good luck. Hope you practiced hitting more than just books."

'Athena, did you hear all that?' Kaen questioned.

'Loud and clear bro.' Athena's voice rang in his head. 'Good luck. I'll be cheering you on when the practical portion of the exam starts.'

~Mock City Ground Beta~

"Well, here goes nothing. We're going to be taking our first steps at being heroes." Kaen smiled, getting off the bus at the mock city. Standing beside him were Izumi and Mina.

"I'm a bit nervous and excited at the same time." Mina said.

"I'm just nervous." Izumi exclaimed.

Kaen was looking around, trying to determine how tough the competition would be, before noticing a girl, slightly shorter than Izumi by a few centimeters, with brown hair, and a bit of a round face, wearing a tracksuit, trying to calm in her nerves.

'She looks nervous, maybe I should go give her a few words of encouragement.' Kaen thought. As he went to talk to her, he was stopped by a hand grabbing his shoulder. He looked back and gave an annoyed look when he saw who was stopping him. 'Great, not this asshole.' Kaen thought.

"She looks like she's trying to concentrate. What are you going to do, try and sabotage her chances of getting in?" He questioned, before he felt a pink hand slap his face, knocking his glasses off, with Kaen grabbing his hand soon after, and threw him over his shoulder, dropping Iida to his back, before twisting his wrist, making him grit his teeth in pain.

"Try assuming the worst of me again, see what happens." Kaen stated, loud enough for a few of those around them to hear her. "It's not against the rules to give encouragement to other examinees to do their best, so back the fuck off, and stop judging me when you don't even know me. I know my scar makes me look like a villain, but you have no idea what happened to me when I got it."

With a crack emanating from Iida's wrist, Kaen let go, while throwing Iida's arm to the ground, before walking over to Uraraka. As Iida picked himself up, Iida hung his head in embarrassment as the other examinees were looking at him, like he was scum.

"Hey there. You nervous?" Kaen asked, walking up to Uraraka.

"Uh… yeah I am, my Quirk isn't much to brag about." She stated. "My name's Ochako Uraraka, it's nice to meet you."

"Kaen Yagi, nice to meet you to. There's no need to be nervous, just do your best, and I'm sure you'll make it." Kaen exclaimed.

"Thanks."

"So what's your Quirk?"

"Nothing special, I'm just able to make things immune to gravity's effects. I call it Zero Gravity." Uraraka stated. "What about you?"

"It's a bit complicated, but my Quirk is called Saiyan Ashura." Kaen said. "I call it that because my Quirk makes me bear a striking resemblance to some of the recently discovered fossilized skeletons found in Southern America, while bearing similar abilities to the deity Ashura."

"The ones that were sent to I-Island for examining?" Uraraka asked. "Oh that's right, the skeletons had tails."

"The ancient writings found in the underground tombs of the fossilized skeletons were translated, and revealed to be a race of being's known as Saiyans, with abilities that sounded quite similar to my own. So I settled on a name for my Quirk, and called switched it to Saiyan Pride. The only difference is, my physical strength and speed are far stronger and faster than theirs, and I can transform into any animal known or unknown in the animal kingdom."

"Wow, that's incredible." Uraraka stated. "You certainly have the power to become a hero."

"I wouldn't say that. It's just a dream of mine, to become a hero." Kaen smiled walking towards the doors before they began to open. "I hope you pass the exam, I'd like to hang out sometime."

Without another word, Kaen used his flight capabilities to propel herself into the air and over the door, taking many of the other examinees by surprise.

"He's got the right idea ladies and gents. There's no countdowns in real battles, get going." Present Mic shouted from the examination tower as the doors began to open.

As the examinees were forcing their way through, Kaen was already on to destroying his third faux villain, 2-3pointers and a 2pointer, earning himself eight points. Before he went rushing through the streets, creating a ruckus to try and gain the attention of as many robots as possible.

(Cue Music… Undefeated: Skillet)

"That makes fourteen points." Kaen stated, destroying three more robots, with his attacks.

Using his Quirk to empower his legs to run forward, Kaen managed to destroy five more three pointers. Once in a while he'd use his arms to block a blow from one of the faux villains, knocking him into the concrete walls of a building in the battle city. Though he would use that power against the robot to destroy it. Occasionally he'd stop his own battle after spotting participants who needed help, or were down and were about to be robot chow, saving them from harm, as they reached their limits.

"All right, from all the robots I've destroyed… I'd have to say my score is pretty high." Kaen exclaimed. "Can't believe I've actually lost count."

~U.A Faculty Examination Room~

"Gotta say All Might, that son of yours, is certainly showing his skills, and true colors." Aizawa stated.

"He certainly takes after his mother's spirited energy." Toshinori smiled.

"Still, it's quite clear the examinees have no idea how many villains are present, or their current locations." Principal Nezu stated. "They have limited time, must cover a vast area, and hunt down every last target. Some use information gathering abilities to plan out strategies, while others rely on speed to pull ahead of their peers. Of course, remaining calm under pressure, can be a huge advantage, as can pure power and combat ability. The most successful students use a combination of all these tactics, they're the ones who rack up the highest scores, Young Yagi, for example is one of these students."

"I'd say this year's group looks promising." Midnight smiled.

"Well there's still plenty of time before it's over. The real test is yet to come." Snipe stated pressing a button. "Let's see how they react."

~Mock City Ground Beta~

"With that one down, that makes seventy…" Kaen's count was interrupted as the ground began to rumble.

The only time he felt something remotely close to this, was when he was with All Might, and they caught a molester trying to have his way with Athena.

"What the hell is going on?" Kaen questioned, before turning as she saw a giant shadow loomed over the mock city, finding it belonged to a giant robot that stood as taller than Mount. Lady. "What the hell budget does this school have?"

Kaen jumped back, just as some debri fell away, landing on his hands as he flipped through the air, before pushing back, arching through the air, and landing on his feet.

"This is the zero pointer? What the hell?" Kaen questioned. "I gotta get out of here. As much as I'd love to take that thing on, it would simply kill me." Just as he was about to turn and run, he heard the sound of someone crying out in pain.

"Aaah…"

The scream of a familiar brunet drew Kaen's attention in the direction it came from. His eyes widened in horror when he saw it was Uraraka who screamed; she was trapped under several large pieces of debri. Before he could even react, he felt someone rush past him, and his eyes and senses spotted Izumi running forward, before she charged up One-for-All. Seeing his friend acting, Kaen steeled himself, using Ashura to boost his speed and strength, before he ran for the treads of the giant robot. Stopping in front of them, Kaen used his strength to remove the debri off of Uraraka, and took her into his arms.

As he ran, there was one thing he knew needed to be done if the rest of the examinees were to be kept safe. Thinking fast, he tossed Uraraka to Izumi, who was running straight for them, and caught her, before he twisted around, and gripped the treads, using all his might to try and keep it in place. He continued to push, but was unable to stop it, before he sprouted his other arms, and used them to push against the treads.

"If I don't stop this thing, the other students will be in danger." Kaen growled, feeling a power pulse through his body, before he began to grow, and his skin became hard as stone.

"The hell?" Izumi gasped.

"Wait, this is Gigantomachia's power." Kaen said, as he stepped back, his body continuing to grow larger.

Kaen continued to grow until he was around the same size of the robot. Stepping back, Kaen clenched a fist, before slamming it into the Robot's giant head. The robot in retaliation, grabbed Kaen's arm with its hands, before the gigantified Saiyan slammed his other fist into the robots face.

"Kaen."

Kaen looked down to see Izumi still charging at the giant robot, and thinking quickly, Kaen got behind the robot, keeping its arms pinned behind its back, before Izumi jumped at the robot, with 100% of One-for-All coursing through her. Seconds later, Izumi was in the robots face, with her arm pulled back, with All Might's words, resonating inside her head.

"There are no combat points rewarded for taking on that humongous villain, but there is, opportunity. A chance to shine, to show what you're really made of. So clench you butt cheeks kids…" All Might's voice echoed.

"And yell this from the depths of your heart." Izumi shouted in sync with the memory, as her arm was powered one hundred percent of One-for-All. "SMASH."

Izumi's attack hit the center of the faux villain's face, pushing it and Kaen back, while also causing its head to cave in on itself, before it exploded, and sent the villain toppling backwards into the fake city. Almost immediately she began to fall to the ground below.

(End Song…)

"Crap, she didn't think this part through entirely." Kaen exclaimed reaching out to catch Izumi in the palm of his hand.

After catching her in his hand, Kaen gently lowered Izumi to the ground, before he felt his own power seeping away, and began to shrink, returning to his normal size.

"Kaen." Mina called out, rushing to his side as he fell to the ground.

"My body… hurts all over." He said, with his four limbs retracting back into him.

"Don't worry Kaen, everything will be fine." Mina said.

While Mina was tending to Kaen, Iida just stood stunned that the examinee he'd accused of being dishonest and deceitful, had actually risked his own life to protect the others taking this exam. But that begged the question, was there another aspect of the exam he didn't know of?

~Support Course Exam~

"Alright students, I apologize for making you wait until after the Hero Course Exams." Power Loader said. "But I do hope you used the time wisely to study and create blueprints for your Entrance Exam projects."

"Uh, Mr. Power Loader, what exactly are we gonna be doing?" Athena asked.

"That's a very good question." Power Loader said. "For those of you who haven't read the E-mail that was sent to you explaining what the exam would be, you're to create something you think would be effective and efficient to hero society, that could be a major benefit to the heroes everyday life, at your assigned work stations. You can use any materials you need and don't worry too much about causing damage, the support course workshops are prepared for it. The test will begin immediately, and will end in five hours. That should be enough time for you to work on your projects."

"Uh, Sir, could I ask for a teacher's help on this?" Athena questioned.

"Depends on what you need their help with."

"I just need to analyze the waves of energy their Quirk gives off when they're using it." Athena said.

"I see, so you're not needing them for anything that could be counted as cheating. I suppose I could call that specific teacher down here. Who are you needing?"

"I heard Eraserhead was a teacher here, could you call him down please?" Athena asked.

A short while later, as Athena was working on the finer details of her blueprints, Power Loader and Eraserhead, a scraggly black haired man with five o'clock shadow, with a scarf around his neck, came up to her work station.

"I heard you were needing my help?" Aizawa said. "If you're wanting to try and create something that can mimic my Quirk, then I hate to disappoint you, but I'm afraid many have tried and failed, even professional gear designers have tried with little to no success."

"I won't know for myself unless I try though." Athena said, pulling something out of her bag, and putting it on her ear. It looked like a Bluetooth ear piece. "Besides, my methods are a bit different then that of the professionals."

"What is that?" Power Loader questioned.

"I call it a scouter. I based it off some old communication tech my mom had." Athena said, pressing a button. "When it's activated, a retractable frame will come out and go over my eyebrow like so." She explained as the device did what she said it would do. "There's a wrist piece that goes with it, but I won't need that for this. After the retractable piece is fully extended, a hard light holographic screen will come down like a curtain, and cover my eye like a lens." An' the device did just that. "Okay so what I'm needing to do is just use my scouter on you to measure the wave length of your Quirks unique energy signature as you use it. Would you mind doing that for me?"

"Sure, anything to help a student achieve their dreams, that's what a teacher is all about after all." Aizawa said, before he began using his Quirk, looking right at Athena.

After a few seconds, of Athena analyzing the Quirk, it beeped and Athena smiled when she got what she needed.

"Thanks. If you're not busy when it's demonstration time, think you could come by to see my device in action?" Athena asked.

"Sure, I don't have much else to do after I finish with my work." Aizawa said.

"Great." Athena smiled, before she went back to finish her project.

~6 Hours Later~

"Alright, final demonstration of what they made is Athena Yagi." Power Loader said, reading off the roll sheet for the examinees. "Show us what you got."

"Ahem, well what I have, is a special restraining device that once activated, will erase someone's Quirk, so long as that person is wearing it. But once it's removed, the Quirk will return to them as if it never left." Athena explained, as she walked up to the front of the classroom.

"Impressive, but can we see it in action? How does it work exactly?" Power Loader asked.

"Well you see, how it works is the emitters on the interior of the collar will send out a wave quite similar to the wavelength of Eraserhead's Quirk. Once that starts, the collar locks itself in place, and can only be removed with the thumbprint of whoever put it on them. The collar's power source is the wearer's Ki, or life energy, as it's more commonly referred to as; so I guess another way to have it removed without the proper key, is to die. It's an endless cycle of give and take. The collar gives off a Quirk nullifying energy wavelength, while it takes Ki from the wearer." Athena exclaimed.

"What about destroying the collar entirely?" Power Loader asked.

"I wouldn't recommend that. So long as the collar is active, it has a self-repairing system that will undo any minor damage done to it. At least the finished product will, as this is a prototype of what I want to create." Athena said. "Any volunteers to try it out and help me with my demonstration?"

"I'll give it a try."

Athena turned to look at the door, and was confused to see a student with blonde hair and blue eyes, reminding her of Toshinori before his injury, looking into the class.

"Togata, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you have gone home already?" Power Loader asked. "School's been over for a while."

"I had some club activities to take care of." Togata said coming in. "I was on my way home when I heard her demonstration of the device she has. It sounds fascinating. Can it really do something similar to what Mr. Aizawa can do? A piece of gear like that could really help the police when restraining and containing villains after the heroes defeat them."

"In theory yes, but as I said, this is simply just a prototype." Athena said pulling up a chair. "So, what's your Quirk?"

"My Quirk is called Permeation. It allows me to travel through solid matter when I hold my breath. There are a few more complicated things about it, but I think I'll skip those to save time." Togata said.

"Good call." Athena smiled. "Now I just need you to sit down in this chair, and I'll put the collar around you."

"I'm a little young to be tied down, but whatever you say." Togata said.

"W-what?" Athena asked, blushing.

"Togata don't do that to the poor girl. She's not familiar with your humor." Power Loader said.

"Right, right, sorry about that." Togata laughed. "Please continue."

"Alright, now I'm just gonna put this around your neck and… *Click* there. Now I just press the button on the back, and your Quirk should be gone." Athena said. "Now, try to use your Quirk."

Togata got up and went running for the stone wall, and slammed right into it, with what sounded like a painful smack.

"What in the world made you think you should do that?" Athena questioned.

"How else was I supposed to see if it actually works or not." Togata asked.

"Well your clothes are still on for one thing." Power Loader said flatly.

"Huh, good point. I should have just tried to see if my clothes would fall off." Togata exclaimed.

"Alright, now that we've got that settled, let's get this collar off you." Athena sighed, removing the collar and setting it on Power Loader's desk. "An' that concludes my demonstration. Any questions?"

"Yeah, what's your real entrance exam project? I heard what Eraserhead said about how not even the professionals could mechanically copy his Quirk, so how could a dumb student like you do it?" One of the other students asked.

"Hey, that's enough." Power Loader said. "Now it is true what Mr. Aizawa said, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Yagi used a piece of tech that she built herself to scan Eraserhead's Quirk Genes to get a reading on his Quirk's wavelengths. So obviously she's quite gifted for her age."

"Whatever." The student mocking Athena said. "At least I won't have to see her in class when the school year begins."

"Now that the exam has ended, I bid you all a farewell, and hope to see some of you at the start of the new school year." Power Loader said. "Everyone is dismissed."

~1 Week Later~

"Kaen, you doing okay?" Gine questioned coming out to the back yard, where Kaen was training with Mina sitting on his back as he did one armed push ups, wearing her fall jacket, and munching on a bag of chips.

"I'm fine mom." Kaen smiled.

"I'm just making sure. I'm heading out, they're needing me back at the hospital for an emergency. Do you think you'll be fine for the rest of the day?" Gine questioned.

"We'll be fine Mrs. Yagi, don't worry." Mina said.

"Oh Kaen, before I forget, a letter from U.A, came for you in the mail." Gine said. "It's on the counter."

"Thanks mom."

"I'm probably not gonna be back until late tonight, so you're free to order in if you want." Gine said. "Be good, your father's gonna be back around ten. An' don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"Mom." Kaen said. "Nothing's gonna happen, I promise."

"Okay, I'm trusting you." Gine said, before closing the sliding door.

Sensing her aura leaving, Kaen continued doing his workout, until he felt Mina get off his back, and sit on the lawn chair across from him.

"What's up Mina?" Kaen questioned.

"I'm curious about something." Mina said. "What's in that shed in the corner of the yard?" She inquired, pointing to the shed.

"It's my dad's hobby shed. He works on his hobbies in there." Kaen said.

"Oh really? Huh, I wonder what kinds of things he likes to do." Mina said.

"He just tinkers with electronics, drones, and other stuff like that." Kaen exclaimed.

"That sounds cool. Are you allowed in there?"

"Not really. He doesn't want Athena or I going in there, because he has a lot of expensive equipment he uses." Kaen said.

"Oh, got it. You going through there, must be like a bull in a china shop." Mina quipped.

"Pretty much." Kaen chuckled, jumping up from the ground. "Hey, would you mind going inside and grabbing the letter from U.A for me?"

"Want me to grab you anything else?" Mina inquired

"Maybe a soda?"

"On it." She smiled running into the house.

Kaen sighed, before he sat down on the bench for the bench press, and grabbed his phone from where he left it. Pulling up his dad's number, he gave Toshinori a call, needing to have a talk with him.

"Hey dad, it's me… I'm fine. Listen there's something we need to talk about… Mina asked about the shed, I told her it's where you work on your hobbies, but I feel bad about… I understand the existence if Saiyans has to remain a secret, but someone is gonna piece the truth together when those fossilizes are analyzed on I-Island… What I'm trying to say is the truth will come out, sooner or later, whether it's from me, or from someone else, it's inevitable. I just thought I should talk to you about this. I'm gonna tell Mina, once the time is right. Talk to you later. Love you." Kaen said, hanging up, just before Mina opened up the sliding glass door again and came back out to the yard, with the letter and two drinks.

"Hey Kaen, here's the letter for you." Mina smiled. "I also brought out your favorite, Dr. Pepper."

"Thanks Mina." Kaen said, taking the drink, and the letter.

"So, who were you talking to?" Mina inquired. "I saw you end the call before I came back out."

"Just my dad. I wanted to see if we could watch a movie later in the home theater." Kaen said. "Since it's just gonna be the two of us for a while, and it's only noon."

"True." Mina said. "So what's the letter about?"

"Let's find out." Kaen smiled.

Kaen opened the envelope, and took out a couple pieces of folded up paper, before he opened one of them.

"Hey, where's the video disk?" Mina asked.

"My dad asked the school not to send me one. I don't much like them." Kaen said. "So they sent me a regular letter instead. An' good news, it says I got in."

"That's great." Mina smiled, going to where she left her bag, and pulling out an, envelop with a holodisk. "Because I got my letter yesterday, and it says I got in to."

"Class 1-A?"

"Class 1-A."

"Great, this calls for a celebration. I'll go put on a movie and you pop the popcorn." Kaen smiled. "Maybe order in a pizza?"

"Wait, what about your workout?"

"My workout can wait. I'd rather spend my time with you anyway." Kaen smiled.

"Aw, you're so sweet." Mina smiled.

Kaen and Mina went into the house, taking to the kitchen and basement rec-room. Turning on the television, Kaen went to Disney+, before cleaning up the rec-room space, to make it presentable for Mina to stay in.

"So what we gonna watch?" Mina questioned, coming down the stairs with a bowl of popcorn.

"Disney+, MCU in the Chronological Order of the timeline?"

"Sounds good to me." Mina smiled plopping down on the couch. "By the way, I called my parents, and they said I could stay over for the night."

"Then it looks like we'll be going through a movie marathon." Kaen smiled.

Hitting the play button, the duo began their movie marathon, starting with the movie, of the First Avenger. As the movie played on, Mina kept glancing at Kaen, something troubling on her mind.

"Kaen?"

"What's up?"

"About what happened at the Entrance Exams."

"What about it?"

"Are we not gonna talk about it?"

"Talk about what?"

"Don't play the dumb card with me Kaen." Mina said, forcing him to look at her, by getting in his face. "You and I both know that Gigantification power came from that villain you saved my friends from, didn't it?"

"Mina…" Kaen sighed. "To be honest, I have no idea if it is, or if it's a latent ability of my Quirk that manifested itself. I mean, I guess it could have come from Gigantomachia. My extra arms are able to absorb elements like fire to increase their strength and size, so it's possible I absorbed some aspects of Gigantomachia's Quirk, through them when we fought. But it's not a definite thing."

"Have you spoken with anyone else about this?" Mina inquired.

"I've spoken with my dad about it, and he thinks that I might have absorbed the power through my arms when I fought against Gigantomachia as well." Kaen said. "The more I think about it, the more likely it seems."

"So, do you think you'll be able to gain any other powers through your arms?" Mina questioned, snuggling up to him like a body pillow.

"I'm not sure." Kaen said, wrapping an arm around him. "But, I do know I need to figure this new aspect of my Quirk out, before someone else gets hurt."
