UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Alright students. A lot has happened over the last week or so, but class is still class." Thirteen said, addressing the students at the newly repaired USJ. "We're here to make up for your missed lesson that day in class."
"Thirteen Sensei, is it really okay for you to be moving around so much after the injury you got last week?" Uraraka questioned.
"My back hurts a little, but it's nothing compared to the injuries Aizawa sustained." Thirteen stated.
"Who is still lying in the hospital wrapped up like an Egyptian mummy." Gine said. "Anyways, I think it best we get started on our rescue training for the day."
"So, what are we gonna be doing first?" Kaen questioned. "An' why exactly is Eri here?"
"Oh, Nana couldn't watch her today, so I brought her along so she wouldn't feel lonely." Gine smiled, looking up at Eri, who was sitting on her shoulders.
"Hi Papa, hi Mama." Eri smiled, waving at them.
"Hi sweetie." Mina smiled.
"Ms. Ashido, must I remind you that you're to remove your faux pregnancy band before hero training?" Thirteen asked.
"Aw." Mina sighed, putting her hands on her faux six month twin sized bump. "I'm counting this as training for when I actually do get pregnant as a fully licensed hero. Plus I've been wearing it during my martial arts training."
"She has a point. Some heroines do continue their duties when they're far along into their pregnancies, some even until their due dates. It puts them at a higher risk of a miscarriage in battle, but it's not uncommon to do so." Gine said.
"Very well." Thirteen said.
"Um, Ms. Yagi, where's All Might? Shouldn't he be here to teach us?" Izumi questioned.
"He was here, but he was called to the Principal's office, so he sends his regards." Gine explained.
"Alright, follow us to the mountain zone." Thirteen said, leading the way.
After following their teachers across the USJ Grounds to the specified zone, everyone noticed how there was some rescue equipment sprawled out on the ground.
"Alright, the first lesson you're gonna be faced with here, is one based on lost hikers. It's simple, there will be three of you playing the roles of the victims, while four of you will take on the role of heroes." Thirteen said. "Now let's get started."
~Mountain Range Zone~
The first group to go down, and act as the, victims, would be Izumi, Kaen, and Uraraka. Uraraka would be the scared one, Izumi would be the one with the broken leg, and Kaen would be the unconscious victim. Needless to say, Kaen only took on that role, because Izumi pointed out that he wouldn't be scared of something like this, and he'd keep fighting, even if his leg was broken, so the only role he could actually play, was the unconscious one.
For the heroes, the students chosen for these roles were Momo, Katsumi, Tokoyami, and Todoroki. Which meant, Katsumi's power dampening collar had to be deactivated.
"Alright, we need a plan." Todoroki began as they assessed the situation. "Yaoyorozu, please make a pulley so that we can pull them up. We'll start with rescuing the unconscious one. Tokoyami will go down to access the situation while the rest of us will pull…"
"Who the fuck died and made you the boss, Half-and-Half?!" Yelled Katsumi who quickly grabbed the collar of Todoroki's hero costume.
Not intimidated by Katsumi's yelling, Todoroki impassively said, "It's the best way. Besides, if we allow you to make any plans, you'd just blow up the chasm just to show off your Quirk out of spite towards both Midoriya and Yagi without any concern about the viability or practicality of your method." Not expecting Todoroki to make such an accurate assumption, Katsumi was stunned and did nothing as Todoroki coolly pushed her hand away and said, "The sports festival is just a week away and I'm not going to waste my time in this training."
As Todoroki walked away, Katsumi's hands were clenched into fists as she growled, "Who… the fuck is the one wasting time…?!"
Katsumi was about to attack Todoroki when Momo yelled, "Stop this right now, both of you!" When the Katsumi stopped, she glared at her and said, "I may not approve of Todoroki calling this training a waste of time but he has a point about not letting you use your explosions for this rescue training. If you're not careful with your Quirk, you'll do more harm than good. Besides, there's something we should be doing first before all…"
Suddenly, Izumi's voice could be heard from the chasm, "Kaen... Kaen are you okay? I know this is an act, but your silence is starting to scare me!"
Worried, Momo rushed to the edge of the chasm and yelled, "Is something wrong, Midoriya?"
"I think Kaen's unconscious for… oh. Never mind, he just fell asleep acting his part for so long, he's fine. More of less." Replied Izumi who sounded rather sheepish, as light snoring could be heard from down below.
"Please remain calm! We'll get to you right away!" Momo called into the chasm, getting back into character.
"Please do so! I've broken my leg and my friend is unconscious!" yelled Izumi. Uraraka on the other hand, continued to 'panic' to 'express' her fear and sorrow of being down there.
Turning her attention to both Katsumi and Todoroki, Momo began to lecture them, on what they needed to do, and why they were there.
"As I was saying, the most important thing to do is to reassure the victims. There are occasions when you cannot save people who are desperate or panicking. That's why reassuring them is a vital part of rescuing them. If you can't even do it properly, then what kind of training is this supposed to be?" Katsumi looked away and clicked her tongue in displeasure while Todoroki appeared impressed by her ability to lead the rescue.
Before long, Todoroki and Katsumi lowered Tokoyami into the chasm with the help of a safety rope, provided by Momo. When Tokoyami reached the bottom of the chasm.
"Tokoyami." Izumi called to him when she spotted the bird beaked boy.
"Sorry it took so long, Midoriya." Tokoyami said, before he noticed Kaen sleeping, with a snot bubble growing and shrinking with each snoring breath. "At any rate." He began as he allowed Dark Shadow to appear. "Allow us to help her get out of this chasm."
"Why should I listen to you?" Dark Shadow asked, with the shadow creature being much more aggressive due to being in a relatively dark chasm.
"Are you going to do nothing while an innocent is in pain and need of help?" asked Tokoyami.
"I just have to help take her out of the chasm, right?" Dark Shadow questioned, after glaring at Tokoyami for a minute.
"He's such an incredible Quirk." Izumi said, as she watched Dark Shadow take Uraraka and fly her out of the chasm.
"He's certainly a helpful companion to have in situations like this, even if he can be aggravating at times." said Tokoyami.
"Maybe so, but he's like a friend you can always trust to be on your side." Izumi argued.
Surprised by Izumi's statement, Tokoyami took a moment to consider his words before he smiled.
~Sometime Later~
It was the last round of rescue training at the chasm. Yang, Uraraka, Jiro, and Kaen, after he'd been woken up, were given the task to rescue Tsuyu, Mina and Momo. Momo, who was playing the role of the unconscious victim, was already rescued so Uraraka turned her attention to Tsuyu who was supposed to have a broken leg.
After making sure that Tsuyu's "broken leg" was securely tied onto a splint, Uraraka used her Quirk to make Tsuyu float upwards until Yang could safely catch her. Once Yang could safely catch Tsuyu, he yelled, "Uraraka, you can release her now!"
"Got it!" replied Uraraka who then pressed her fingers together to deactivate her Quirk, thereby allowing Tsuyu to fall into Yang's arms.
Yang smiled as she had caught Tsuyu safely, asking her. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, thank you hero." Tsu said.
"Sure, Tsu! No problem!"
At the bottom of the chasm, was Kaen as he helped Jiro to "reassure" Mina by hugging her. Which, was something Mina took full advantage of, as she played the baby-daddy card and rubbed her belly against him, chuckling as he blushed, while trying to keep his composure during this training exercise.
With the embarrassing situation over, Kaen picked Mina up and held her, bridal style, in his arms, with Jiro hopping onto his back, before jumping up, leaping from one side of the chasm walls, to the other, before they got out safely, and set the pink girl down with the others.
Pleased by the results of the training so far, Thirteen congratulated the students of Class 1A and then told them that they would be taking part in additional battle scenarios in the ruins zone.
~Ruins Zone~
"Unlike the first training, there are different situations." Thirteen explained. "The purpose of this training is to give a more genuine experience. The injured can be anywhere and we do not know what state they may be in. You have eight minutes to spread out and four of you will be the rescuers. The remaining seventeen must hide in whatever place they wish. Eight of those hidden victims may not speak. I will be selecting those eight students."
"Wait, seventeen? But there's only twenty of us." Mina said, raising her hand.
"I've been given permission by Principal Nezu to allow one extra person to join in this portion of the training exercise." Thirteen stated, before Eri popped out from behind her.
"Hi Mama, Papa." Eri smiled.
"So, this exercise is just like a big game of hide and seek!"
"To be precise, almost, but not quite." Thirteen said, who then announced what was to come. "The four students who will be the rescuers will be these four!"
As it turned out, the four rescuers were Yang, Uraraka, Mina and Katsumi. Of course, Katsumi was angry that she had to be paired up with Kaen's 'bitch', and personal best friend.
~Two minutes later~
Not surprisingly, Katsumi set off on her own while Yang, Uraraka and Mina worked together to find their classmates. As it turned out, Yang's Quirk allowed animalistic sensitivity to her senses, meaning her sense of smell and keen sense of hearing, were godsends as she was able to quickly locate some of their classmates to be rescued by Uraraka and Mina. Among the students they had rescued were Jiro, Tsuyu, Sato, and Ojiro.
However, just as the, trio managed to located and rescue Jiro who was hidden behind some wrecked cars, Iida suddenly appeared and yelled, "Everyone, get down!"
However, before Uraraka and Jiro could react, Iida pushed them down when an earth-shaking shock wave went over the three of them. As for Yang, she braced herself for the incoming shock wave and shielded Mina who tried to stand strong against the shockwave.
After the shock wave had passed, Uraraka was the first among them to speak up.
"W-what in the world happened?" She groaned as she picked herself up.
"It's a villain." Iida stated firmly.
At that moment, an imposing muscular figure appeared. He was dressed in a black suit with spiked shoulder pads, a pair of cargo pants and a gas mask which completely concealed his face. He was also apparently carrying something with his right hand.
Both Uraraka and Jiro wore shocked expressions as they realized that the villain was actually carrying an unconscious Eri. An' the sight of it, pissed Mina off. Soon, the other students arrived and were equally shocked that there was an actual villain in the USJ. Ojiro quickly rushed to Gine and Thirteen to inform them about the villain but, unfortunately, the one teacher was still too injured to fight effectively, and Gine only had a license to use her flying abilities, and Xerox for medical emergencies. Thirteen was about to suggest that everyone flee to the exit when Kaen spoke up, feeling a familiar Ki signature.
"All Might?"
All the students, except for Izumi and Yang, stared at Kaen as though he'd grown a second head and uttered, "Eh?"
Obviously flustered, the villain quickly looked around and yelled, "A-All Might?! Where is he? I'm looking forward to killing that bastard myself!"
'I get it, this is part of the training exercise. Dad wants to ensure we're capable of handling ourselves if another villain attack, happens again. How considerate of him, but a bit over the top to.' Kaen thought.
The tense atmosphere quickly evaporated as the brighter students quickly realized what was going on. Momo sighed as she placed her hand onto her face and said, "You can drop the villain act, All Might."
Eri, who was supposed to be unconscious, chuckled sheepishly as she looked up at the "villain" and said, "Told you Papa would be able to tell it's you All Might."
Realizing that he had been found out, the unnamed masked villain, who was indeed Toshinori himself, sighed and pulled off his gas mask to reveal his grinning expression. He then looked to Kaen and asked. "How did you know it was me? I even used a different kind of cologne before coming here to hide my scent from that nose of yours."
"True, you used a different cologne to hide your scent, but you can't hide your Ki Energy." Kaen said proudly. "One's Ki signature, is as unique as a finger print."
Toshinori laughed sheepishly, realizing he hadn't taken that into account. "Sorry about causing such a fright, but I wanted to make a surprise in which a villain appeared in the end." He then focused his attention to Kaen and Mina, saying. "I also needed to see how you will respond to a villain who is holding Eri hostage. Like it or not, heroes live in constant danger from villain attacks, and even if Eri wasn't part of the League of Villains, she was still an unwilling part of a villain organization, who don't intend on letting her go that easily. So the threat of another villain attack happening, because of Eri's presence is all the more likely to happen, even though she's not worth anything to them anymore."
The students' initial anger and aggravation disappeared as they realized that Toshinori actually had a point. Many of them were convinced that the USJ attack was just a freak coincidence but his statement made them see that villains had always been a constant threat to heroes. The fact that Eri was formerly a villainous asset to a dying Yakuza group, unwilling as she was, only made the chances of facing another villain attack all the more likely.
Moved by Toshinori's sound argument, Iida began to cry. "To put so much consideration in a mere surprise lesson, you are truly a great hero and teacher All Might!" He stated.
Uraraka crossed her arms over her chest and pouted as she asked Toshinori, "I get that you want us to be always prepared for villains but did you really have to give us such a fright, All Might?"
"That's right!" Mina yelled, who indignantly asked as she marched up and grabbed Eri from All Might. "What if one of us got hurt? What if Eri had gotten hurt?"
Toshinori scratched the back of his head and explained with a laugh, "Well, I was prepared to stop the villain act immediately if someone actually got hurt or was about to get seriously hurt. Besides, Little Eri knew that the 'villain' was me before I could even do anything so there's no harm done! She had actually agreed to be part of the exercise as my hostage, that's why Nezu gave his permission to let her join the class today."
As the majority of Class 1A continued to look unimpressed, Toshinori started to become nervous. Thankfully for him, Kaen curiously asked, "So, does that mean we continue this, or what?"
Glad for the unintended save from his son, Toshinori smiled and took Eri back from Mina, and lifted her up as he replied. "Considering that I still have Eri in my hand, yes indeed!"
Yang wore a daring grin as she assumed a fighting stance. Realizing that the training was still ongoing, and that they should take part in it if they truly wanted to become pro-heroes, the rest of Class 1A assumed their own fighting stances.
Pleased by their response, Toshinori put his gas mask back on and then stomped the ground with enough force to collapse the surrounding buildings. Izumi's classmates were forced to take cover until the dust settled to reveal that Toshinori had somehow created a circular area of flat ground for him to fight against them. Shocked and somewhat thrilled, in a terrified sense for the battle, by the sudden change of landscape, Min gulped but still felt excited for the fight. "Please tell me we have a plan to fight against him!" She said while still smiling.
Equally shocked and terrified, Denki had to say, "He's way too strong!"
Suddenly, Yang rushed forward with crimson flames burning from her hands and an audacious grin on her face. Crimson fire burned around her right fist as she was about to punch the Villain, when the disguised hero suddenly raised his left hand and flicked his fingers. Instinctively sensing the danger, Yang immediately leaned her face to the right, reducing damage of the incoming shock wave which was powerful enough to feel as though she had just been punched right in the face. As a result, she lost her balance and fell on all fours. However, instead of stopping, she got back up continued to charge towards All Might.
Yang was not the only one to act offensively though as Katsumi used her explosions to fly over the Villain and then deliver a strong explosion from overhead. However, All Might easily blocked the incoming attack and even sent Katsumi flying with a wave of his hand.
"Ow, she singed my ears." Eri whined, reaching up to pat down her tiger ears, and the flames Katsumi's explosion left behind.
"Alright, that's it." Kaen glared, rushing forward before he took Eri from All Might, and ran back up to Gine and Thirteen. "Take her. Eri's ears are burnt, and Katsumi is dead." Kaen growled, before rushing back to the fight.
Todoroki also took action by freezing the ground beneath All Might so that he could be immobilized. Sensing the incoming attack, All Might quickly dodged the incoming ice and flicked his finger again to blow it away.
'Did he copy that technique from Izumi?' Uraraka questioned, remembering how Izumi used the same move against the villains in the flood zone.
Tsuyu recognized the powerful finger flicking and yelled, "Everyone, be careful! He's using Midoriya finger flicking technique!"
"That's indeed correct, Asui! I'm using the same finger flicking technique which Young Midoriya used to defeat the villains at the flood zone during the USJ attack." All Might declared proudly, as he grabbed a flame enveloped fist from Yang, with his left hand. "Always remember, you're never too experienced or too strong to learn a useful technique from another."
Villain Might quickly pushed Yang, away with enough force to send her flying so that he could deflect Katsumi's explosive palm strike by redirecting it with a backhanded block. He could not help but grimace slightly as the palm of his left hand had been slightly bruised and burnt by Yang's flaming punch.
Realizing that All Might was preoccupied by Kaen, Yang, Katsumi, and Todoroki, Momo yelled, "Everyone, I have a plan to capture All Might!"
Although All Might had heard Momo's yell, and knew that he could quickly disable her if he really wanted to, he decided to ignore her for the sake of allowing as many students contribute to defeating him as possible. Besides, Kaen was relentless as he tried to deliver a Ki empowered kick to the left side of his head. Quickly blocking the kick, All Might then leapt away to avoid Todoroki's ice. While he was airborne, Katsumi suddenly appeared from behind him and was about to create a powerful explosion to subdue the hero/villain. However, All Might did a backhand, knocking Katsumi's attack off-target as a result, before kicking Katsumi away. Although All Might had held back, Katsumi could have sworn that some of her ribs had been fractured by the kick.
With Villain Might's back turned to face him, Kaen took his chance to leap onto his right arm and bend it into a restraint lock
"Now Xiao Long." Kaen called out.
Looking down, All Might saw Yang on the ground, with a massive ball of fire in her hands. Thrusting her arms upwards, Yang sent the attack towards Villain Might, with Kaen enduring the attack with him, as the fire enveloped them, leaving several burns on their exposed skin.
All Might grunted in pain from the coordinated attack, but refused to give in just yet, but he was close. Panicking, All Might punched Kaen right between the eyes, forcing him to let go of his grip on him. Even if the punch was restrained, it was more than powerful enough to knock out most people, but it just dazed Kaen, long enough for him to break free.
As soon as All Might landed onto the ground, he quickly patted down the flames that were left behind by Yang's attack. While he was distracted, Todoroki managed to cover his feet with ice, thus immobilizing him. All Might was about to smash the ice which was growing upward towards his torso when Kaen suddenly came out of nowhere, and pulled his arms into a different restraint lock.
Shocked that the young man whom he had just punched was somehow able to continue fighting, All Might almost failed to hear Momo yell.
"Everyone, now!"
A moment later, Villain Might was attacked from all sides with debris which had double sided tape, or sticky harmless glue like acid. As it turned out, Momo had instructed Hanta and Mina to add tape and sticky acid onto said debris. She then told Uraraka to make the debris weightless with her gravity-nullifying Quirk so that the rest of the class could throw them at the first opportunity they all got.
By the time the attack ended, All Might was completely immobilized due to both the ice and the sticky debris. In spite of his defeat, and the inevitable awkward issue of somehow freeing himself, he grinned happily and said, "Well done, everyone! We will definitely have a discussion about the MVP of this training exercise tomorrow."
"All right, we did it!" Yelled Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, and Mina. Katsumi on the other hand was displeased because she was not the one who secured the victory.
Izumi, who managed to get to Kaen, worriedly asked him something. "Kaen, is Eri gonna be alright? What happened that made All Might decide to let go of her so easily?"
"Katsumi didn't consider Eri might get hurt from her attack, so she burnt Eri's little tiger ears when she set off that explosion." Kaen explained. "I took Eri back to my mom for some medical treatment. She's got a copy of Recovery Girl's Quirk so she should be fine now, especially if she's with my mom."
Katsumi clicked her tongue in displeasure when Kaen glared at her, before she limped her way towards the exit of the ruins zone by herself. Todoroki, who was starting to suffer from hypothermia due to overusing the ice half of his Quirk, was also limping towards the exit of the ruins zone without asking for help from anyone.
Gine, as she came down with Eri and Thirteen, sighed as she observed the two students and knew that they needed to change their ways if they truly wanted to become heroes. She then turned her attention towards the rest of the class who were currently trying to free Toshinori from his "restraints". She smirked at Toshinori's comically well-deserved predicament.
'Well, at least I don't have to worry about the rest of them too much. Kaen and Mina included. They seem to be doing fine on their own, despite what happened during the USJ attack.' Gine thought with a smile as Eri went to try and help free All Might, from this sticky situation.
~Later Yagi Household~
"Oh man, I'm beat." Mina sighed, plopping down on the couch with Kaen and Eri, the little girl eating a candied apple. "I'm so glad mom lets us relax from martial arts training on the days we have hero course training."
"It is a nice reprieve." Kaen smiled, flipping the channel.
"So who do you think the MVP was?" Mina asked. "Personally, I think it was you, because your prioritized Eri's safety over everything else."
"I agree Papa." Eri smiled.
"As appreciated as that is, I'd say the MVP was either Izumi or Todoroki. The way they were fighting, proved they were fighting to protect. Neither of them were looking for glory, they were both looking to end the fight, to prevent any further damage, and acted as though there were still innocent people around in the area to protect." Kaen smiled. "They've both really got the mindset of a hero. But there's something holding Todoroki back from using his full power, and I don't know what it could be."
"Guess you're right." Mina smiled. "So, what's on the agenda for the night?"
"Well, mom and dad are out again, and I've ordered in for tonight. So take out should be here in a bit." Kaen smiled.
"What are we having?" Mina asked.
"American. Burgers, pizza, burritos, the works." Kaen smiled.
"Sounds delicious." Mina smirked. "These fake babies have been giving me such cravings."
"How long did you put your time for the faux pregnancy to last?" Kaen questioned.
"Three years. I'll be in my third trimester come third year." Mina smiled. "An' I'm carrying faux twins so I'm gonna be big. I'm six months along after all."
"Well, it's gonna be a long three years." Kaen smiled.
"Mina Ashido. Open the door." A familiar voice called as someone was banging on the front door.
"Mama, who's that banging, and why's he calling your name?" Eri asked.
"It's no one important sweetie." Mina said, as Kaen got up and went to answer the door.
"Fujio, what a surprise. What brings you here?" Kaen questioned, opening the door. "More importantly, how did you find my house?"
"I have friends in the police force. You know why I'm here." Fujio said, forcing his way into the house, and marching into the living room. "Mina, come on I'm taking you home, right now." He stated, walking right up to her.
"No dad." Mina said. "I'm not going back, not until you apologize for what you said about Kaen."
"You want me to apologize for being right about him?" Fujio asked. "He's keeping you here against your will."
"I'm here of my own free will Fujio." Mina said, referring to her father by his first name. "An' you're wrong about him. Kaen is the sweetest, gentlest person I've ever met."
"He's related to a villain."
"So what if he is?" Mina glared. "That doesn't make him a bad person. It makes you an ass for discriminating Kaen for it."
"Mina Ashido, I will not tell you again." Fujio said, grabbing Mina's arm. "Let's go."
"No! Let go of me!" Mina said, trying to pull her arm back. "You're hurting me."
"Hey Fujio."
The Head of the Ashido household turned right before he was knocked back by a fist to the face, as Kaen stood there, ready to fight.
"If you wanna dance, pick a partner who's more your speed." He growled. "Let's dance."
"You don't wanna mess with a martial arts master, boy." Fujio glowered.
"Let's just see about that." Kaen glared.
"You asked for it." Fujio stated as his eyes began to burn violet.
~25Minutes Later Outside~
"Are you sure we should have come home early? I mean, we wanted to give Kaen and Mina some alone time. Athena's off at a sleepover at Hatsume's, and we had a reservation at a hotel for the night." Toshinori said as he and Gine walked up the path to their front door.
"I'm sure, I just can't shake this feeling that something's wrong." Gine stated, before she jumped back, with Toshinori shielding her, as Kaen was thrown through the front door, and slid along the ground, creating a groove before he stopped.
"Damn it that smarts." Kaen groaned picking himself up, before noticing who was there. "Oh hey, mom, dad. What brings you back so soon?"
"Your mother had a feeling something was wrong while we were gone. An' it's starting to look like she might be psychic." Toshinori said.
"Yeah, sorry about the door. Fujio Ashido came to the house, and forced himself in. He tried to take Mina by force, which was hurting her, so I stopped him. Long story short, it looks like he might have to be reclassified as a villain. Excuse me real quick." Kaen quickly explained, before rushing back into the house.
From outside, Toshinori and Gine could hear a whole lot of noises and stuff breaking, they even heard Kaen shout, "That was my mother's favorite vase", before Mina came running out the broken door, with Eri in her arms, the little girl scared out of her mind.
"Mina are you alright?" Gine asked.
"I'll live, just some light bruising from where my father grabbed me. Eri though, I'm not so sure about. She might need some family bonding time after this." Mina said as the commotion inside was still going on, before Fujio was sent flying out the front door, and into the metal archway of the gate they were in front of, bending it.
"About damned time, I got you out of my parents house asshole!" Kaen growled, marching out the front door.
"This isn't over you punk." Fujio growled, picking himself up. "I swear I will get my daughter back, and away from you. An' I will see your ass is buried six feet under, then I will see your control over my daughter, gone!"
"Oh just shut the hell up you overbearing control freak!" Kaen growled, hitting Fujio with an uppercut that sent him flying through the air.
"Is he gonna be okay?" Toshinori asked.
"Don't know, don't care." Mina grumped walking to the house.
"Geeze I knew she said her father was a control freak pain in the ass, but this is not what I was expecting." Gine said.
"You think we should do something about it?" Toshinori asked.
"Later, for now I think we should focus on making sure our insurance is paid up so we can get the repairs to the house done." Gine said, before they all heard a creaking sound, and Kaen lunged at Mina, pulling her back, and shielding both her and Eri, right before the house completely fell apart, and became a pile of rubble with a driveway.
"Looks like we'll be taking our hotel reservations after all." Toshinori sighed.
"Look on the bright side honey. This gives us a chance to set in motion, the plans we've been putting off." Gine said.
"An' we're gonna need it. If we're wanting our surprise for Kaen to be ready in time." Toshinori chuckled.
