UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Again." Tsuki said, smacking her bamboo kendo on the ground, wearing a form fitting tracksuit.
Kaen and Mina lunged at each other, both striking with their elbows, but both strikes were caught by the others free hand, putting them in a locked stalemate, at least until Kaen swept Mina's legs out from under her.
"That had more power in it. Take five." Tsuki said as Eri ran out giving both of them a towel and water bottle.
"Thanks sweetie." Mina said, sitting up. "Hey mom, there's something I've been curious about."
"What's that honey?" Tsuki asked.
"We've been training with you for a week and a half, but you never told us about what the Grand Raitai Tournament is." Mina exclaimed.
"That's not an easy explanation." Tsuki said, taking a seat. "What I can say is, the tournament is only meant for martial artists with Chinese citizenship. Anyone wanting to participate not from China, have to prove it's no mistake they're there."
"What about the regular annual Raitai Tournaments?" Mina asked.
"It's not as strict with the Grand Raitai Tournament. But there's still a requirement for one to prove their worth to participate." Tsuki said. "The tournaments both take place in Hong Kong and Taiwan twice a year."
"Nowhere else?" Mina asked.
"Nowhere else." Tsuki said.
"Then… Kaen that important trip you took to China last summer, that was for the Raitai Tournament?" Mina asked.
"It was. But I wasn't able to use my Quirk to fight. Which was fine with me." Kaen smiled. "It just gave me an opportunity to show I'm not so reliant of it."
"Which is what martial arts is all about. Proving your strong, even when against opponents stronger than you." Tsuki exclaimed. "But the goal of martial arts, is to make peace with your enemies, not war."
"That's actually pretty wise." Mina said.
"I'm over a hundred years old sweetie, if I'm not wise by now, I might as well have remained Quirkless." Tsuki said.
"She's got ya there Mina." Kaen said with a chuckle.
"So I'd ask how dad would be taking my absence, but it's clear to see he's gone insane." Mina said. "I don't actually care, I'm just concerned he might be taking things out on you. I mean, I have my own life, and he goes nuts because he can't control it?"
"I haven't actually seen your father since the night he attacked Kaen. But when I last saw him, he'd been taking it rather hard. I'm actually a little concerned about his mentality at this point." Tsuki said.
"No kidding, he destroyed my parents house, and left us without a roof over our heads. Thanks again for letting me stay here while our house is being rebuilt by the way." Kaen stated.
"It's the least I could do, after what my husband did to you and your family. I'm just grateful no one was seriously hurt in that situation." Tsuki said.
"I still have the bruises on my arm from when he came by that night." Mina stated, unwrapping the bandages from her arm. "He is such a tyrannical ass."
"Swear." Eri pointed out, holding a jar up to her.
"I think most of his mental issues come from his trauma as a soldier. Your father and I both served in the Self Defense Force. It made sense for me, because I would just come back to life if I was KIA, and your father could use his Quirk to plot out the best scenario's to get out of those scenario's alive with minimal to no casualties."
"I never knew this about either of you." Mina said, putting 180Yen in Eri's Swear Jar.
"It's how your father and I actually met sweetie. We were part of the same unit, and at that time, I was recognized for my title as Kaioh Emperor as well as my Immortal Phoenix Quirk, while he was recognized for his Psychic Dragon Quirk. He was the navigator, and I was the living shield." Tsuki exclaimed. "Well that's enough reminiscing for one day. Back to training to two."
~Day of the Sports Festival~
"Mmm. The U.A Sports Festival." Athena smiled walking through the fairgrounds with Eri by her side, holding her hand. "It's always so fun coming here."
"Aunty Athena." Eri said, tugging on her arm a bit. "Can we get something to eat?"
"Sure sweetie. What do you want?" Athena questioned.
"Can we get Takoyaki?" Eri asked.
"Sounds good to me. I've been having a strong craving for cephalopod." Athena smiled.
"What's a cephalopod?" Eri asked.
"Anything with tentacles." Athena smiled, adoring Eri's unique curiosity.
Making their way through the crowd, Athena kept having to bring Eri back on topic as she kept getting sidetracked by the different events and entertainment centers her eyes landed on. There wasn't really any reason for Athena to be annoyed with Eri. The girl was seeing all this stuff for practically the first time since Kaen and Mina rescued her, so it was only natural she'd be fascinated with all the different activities going about.
"Come one Eri. The Takoyaki stand is this way." Athena smiled, before bumping into someone. "Oh I'm terribly sorry."
"Why don't you watch where you're going, you fat cow." The guy said, walking off in the opposite direction as her rather quickly.
"Well he was certainly rude." Athena grumbled.
"Aunty your purse." Eri pointed out.
Athena looked down at herself, and realized her purse was missing, when it hadn't been a second ago before she…
"Hey stop. THIEF." Athena called out as the guy she bumped into ran off. "He stole my purse."
"You'll never catch me you slow slut." The thief called out, before he was suddenly clothes lined. The momentum of his running continued, carrying him into the air, as he flipped off the ground twice before hitting the ground, with a loud thud. "Ow, my back." He wheezed.
"Stealing a pregnant lady's purse. Now that's something I wish I could say I've never seen before." The hero who stopped him said, as Athena's purse landed in one of the hero's big hands.
"It's trash like him that make crime so pitiful these days." A woman's voice sighed.
"Be thankful it's only a purse napper and not a full on villain attack." A third voice said as the thief was wrapped in arbor.
"Here you go Miss." Death Arms said, giving the purse back to Athena. "Are you all right?"
"I'm fine. Just a little frustrated I didn't pick up on it. This pregnancy must really be dulling my senses." Athena said.
"You look a little young to be a mother. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?" Mount Lady questioned.
"I'm a first year here at U.A in the Support Course. But I'm not pregnant with my own children. I'm actually a surrogate for a couple when the wife had to get chemo therapy." Athena explained.
"You do a noble thing for an unlucky family." Kamui Woods said, before noticing Eri. "Who's this?"
"This is my niece Eri." Athena exclaimed. "Since I can't participate in the festival for obvious reasons…" Gesturing to her pregnant stomach. "I offered to take her off our house keepers hands and spend the day at the festival with her instead."
"Oh really? That's kind of you." Mount Lady smiled as Campus Security took the thief away. "We were just on our way to get something to eat while patrolling. Would you care to join us?"
"We were actually going to get some food ourselves." Athena said. "We were going to get Takoyaki."
"That sounds fabulous." Mount Lady smiled.
~Class-1A Prep Room~
"Hello and welcome all you sports fans, to the U.A Sports Festival." Present Mic called out through the announcer's booth. "Get ready, 'cause in the next ten minutes you're gonna be greeted by some top tier students. Today, we've got a very special lineup of events for you."
Inside the stadium walls, in the set up rooms, all the students were preparing to head out when it was time for them to make their appearance.
"Oh man, I was really hoping to wear my costume for the festival." Mina said. "It's one thing that I can't wear my Pregnancy Choker, but I really wanted to show off my costume."
"This makes sure things are fair between the students of all courses babe." Kaen said, readjusting the collar of his shirt, as his shield was on his arm.
"Why do you get your shield though?" Mina asked.
"I filled out the proper request forms to allow me to have it." Kaen stated.
"Mina aren't you gonna put your tracksuit jacket on?" Tsu inquired, seeing her friend was just in a sports bra and her tracksuit pants.
"I will, but I won't be wearing it long." Mina said. "Kaen's doing the same thing. Their restrictive fabrics would hinder our movements in a fight."
"Alright everyone. We need to get ready to head out, so finish up whatever it is you're needing to quickly." Kaen called out as Class Rep.
"Classic Kaen, always taking his duties seriously." Izumi smiled walking up to him.
"Midoriya. Yagi."
Kaen and Izumi turned to see Todoroki coming towards them, a serious look on his usually unchanging face.
"From an objective standpoint, I'm stronger than both of you." Todoroki exclaimed.
"Uh, yeah I guess that's true, I mean I've only got mastery over five percent of the strength I have. Any more than that and my bones will ache or shatter." Izumi said, scratching her cheek nervously in thought.
"However, you've both got All Might in your corner, helping you out. Which is surprising. I'm not here to pry about what it is you have but know that I will beat you, both of you." Todoroki exclaimed.
"Ugh, what's with all these declarations of war lately?" Kaminari asked, creeped out.
"Yeah, what's the big deal, why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?" Kirishima asked, putting a hand on Todoroki's shoulder. "An' right before we get started."
"He's not picking a fight." Mina stated. "He's done all but outright say it. He's declared Izumi and Kaen to be his rivals."
"We're not here to be each other's friends at this festival. Don't forget, this isn't a team effort. I won't be going easy on any of my classmates." Todoroki stated. "It's survival of the fittest out there. This festival is nothing more, then a cutthroat event."
"Wait a sec Todoroki." Izumi exclaimed. "I might not have a clue, about what's going on in that head of yours, or why you think you need to tell me that you'll beat me, an in terms of strength, you're better than me by far, in fact you probably have way more potential than anyone in the hero course. That's why you got in so easily."
"Midoriya, maybe you're being a little hard on yourself, and us." Kirishima stated.
"No, she's right you guys. All the other courses, they're coming at us with everything they have, and they're not gonna stop until they have our heads on silver platters." Kaen stated, remembering the declaration of war the class got from Shinso. "We're all gonna have to fight to stand out, and I'll be aiming for the top to."
"Fine." Todoroki exclaimed.
Back out in the arena, Present Mic was in the announcer's booth with Gine.
"An' here they are ladies and gentlemen, the infamous Hero Course of the year Class-1A. After surviving a villain attack, these kids are tough as nails." Present Mic called out as the class came walking out of there. "Followed by Hero Course Class B."
"Let's not forget about the other courses. General Studies Course Classes-1C-D-E-F, for instance." Gine smiled as the students came out of their respective tunnels. "Then we have Support Course and Business Students of Classes G-H, and I-J." She said, as they rest of the students came
With all the courses gathered around the podium, where Midnight stood, Kaen was able to see just how excited for the sports festival she was, through her actions.
"An' now, without further ado, we will now hear a speech from the student who scored top of the entrance exams. Kaen Yagi." Midnight exclaimed.
"Me?" Kaen questioned.
"Go on get up there." Jiro said, pushing him forward.
Without further need of encouragement, Kaen walked up the steps to the podium, and took his place to the mic. Kaen took in a deep breath, before letting it out, and calming his nerves.
"All men, are not created equal. This is the reality of things, in this universe of ours." Kaen began.
~Midoriya Household~
Mitsuki was sitting with Inko Midoriya in her apartment as the duo watched the Sports Festival together.
*A friend of mine learned this at the young age of four. But she never gave up on her dream, and she stands tall and proudly with us today, now look at her. Now she's a student of the Hero Course. She's stronger than people gave her credit for, and now, she's got both the brawn and brain to prove she's not useless. We are strong, and today we prove that.*
~League of Villains Hidden Bar~
Celeron sat in the corner of the bar drinking a glass of whisky on the rocks, since Kurogiri forbade him from drinking straight from the bottle, watching the television as he glared at Kaen who was giving the opening speech his grip on the glass tightening with each word uttered from his brother's mouth.
"Insolent little flea." He growled, shattering his glass.
*Today we prove that we're not only powerful but we are strong. Today we prove to the world, no matter how many times we're beaten, no matter how many times we're broken, no matter how hard we're hit, we will keep getting back up, and keep, moving forward. We will show just how much we can take, and keep moving forward. So I say this to all the students gathered here right now.*
~Fasha Hideout~
"Why are you watching this drivel?" Chimera questioned. "I thought you weren't interested in the half-breed?"
"I never said I wasn't interested in Kaen's potential. If he works hard enough, he might become an invaluable asset one day." Fasha stated, drinking a beer. "Besides, the battle royal at the end of these festivals is a perfect example of the strong, lording their powers over the weak."
"I suppose you make a valid point." Chimera said.
"Where are the others? They're missing out?"
"They're out looking for more recruits. It's just you and me here." Chimera stated.
"Well then come and join me. I'm sure you'll find the Sports Festival just as interesting." Fasha smirked.
*The true mark of a hero, is not measured, by the size of their agency, or the strength of the Quirks. It is measured, by their determination, and their willingness to sacrifice, and do whatever it takes, to become a hero. To prove, that the people, no matter who they are, are worth protecting. That is what we as students are here to do, today. We're here to prove ourselves.*
~U.A Sports Festival Grounds~
"Prove your worth, and push yourselves past your limits. Break through those walls, and put everything you have, into this Sports Festival, because I know I'm gonna do the very same thing." Kaen smirked. "Break those limits, and Go Beyond…"
"Plus Ultra!" The entire stadium cheered, giving Kaen a standing ovation, as they cheered him on for his encouraging words to the other students.
"That was real good Kaen." Mina smiled.
"Yeah, amazing words." Jiro added.
"Thank you for your encouraging words Mr. Yagi." Midnight smiled as Kaen stepped down from the podium.
"Now for this years Sports Festival we'll be doing things very differently. For the entire duration of the festival, we'll be hosting a Martial Arts Quirk Tournament. The first round will consist of a free for all, battle royal. The round ends when there are about 40 contestants left standing." Present Mic explained as Gine brought up a bucket of popcorn, from where Mic knew not, but it was too big to hide under the equipment.
"An' there's no need to worry about safety folks, we have professional medical experts on standby to treat the injured." Gine added.
"For those of you watching from home, we please ask that you sit back, and enjoy the show as to make things fair. The entire first round, will involve no Quirk use, whatsoever to give the Non-Hero Course students a fighting chance to show what they got." Present Mic said. "An' now, without further adieu, it's time to get this tournament started."
"Alright, the rules are simple. No Quirk use, and no serious, or lethal injuries." Midnight said. "With that said, everyone space out, at least five feet from one another, and…"
"Begin." Mic called out.
After announcing the beginning of the match, all the students went at each other, and the fighting was the least of their concerns at this point as there were at least three or four students, who were wiping the floor with the others.
One of them was of course Kaen, his years and training in martial arts had made his skills on par with that of several of the greatest martial artists in the world. The second was Izumi, she'd been taking fighting lessons from Athena, before Gine took over when the teen became a surrogate.
The third student who was producing quite the talent was Shoto, proving he relied more on his own capabilities than his own power. The fourth students who was showing real promise was Katsumi. Her combat abilities proved she wasn't as reliant on her Quirk as one might have expected her to be with how she relied on its explosive power for everything.
While Katsumi, was just being her usual loudmouthed self, hitting everything she could with an explosion, sending the students down, and out.
Yang was hardly needing to put in the effort. Most of the competitors who she went up against were easy enough to take out, all she had to do was step to the side, and stick out her foot for them to trip over before they could stop when they went running at her.
~Fairgrounds~
"Mmm? Hey, isn't that the girl from the sludge villain incident a year ago?" Mount Lady questioned, seeing Izumi on the screen, as she ate another piece of Takoyaki.
"Hey you're right, it is her. An' look who's fighting alongside her." Kamui Woods said as Kaen was visible on the screen. "That's the boy who gave Death Arms the third degree."
"What's he doing at U.A? I thought he would have been denied access because of illegal Quirk use." Death Arms said. "Unless that Provisional License of his wasn't a fake, and he was being totally legit."
"Go Papa." Eri cheered.
"Papa?" Kamui Woods questioned. "The girl's father is a first year at U.A?"
"Yep. An' he's my brother." Athena said. "Kaen and another student in his class, rescued Eri from a villain a couple weeks back, the day after the USJ incident, and has adopted her, because the safest place for her, is right by the side of the hero who kicked his butt."
"We've got to put a stop to this. The kid is just getting away with illegal Quirk use left and right." Death Arms said.
"He hasn't broken any laws actually." Athena said. "Our dad works as All Might's main secretary. An' because of our connection, we got kidnapped and held hostage six years ago. So, after the battle that ended up rescuing us, All Might pulled a few strings, and we both got provisional hero licenses to use if we're ever attacked again. So Kaen was within the law when he fought the villain who was after Eri."
"Athena, Eri."
The duo of girls turned and smiled, when they saw Nana coming towards them with a smile on her face.
"Nana." Eri cheered.
"Here to enjoy the festival too?" Athena inquired.
"I am. I don't really have anything else to do at home, so I thought I'd join you two here at the festival." Nana smiled, picking Eri up. "So, have either of you eaten yet?"
"We ate some Takoyaki, but I still have some fierce cravings." Athena said.
"Given how your metabolism normally is without the pregnancy added, I'd say it's a fair assumption that you're still rather hungry." Nana smiled.
"I'm sorry, but… You're Nana Shimura, the Arc Angel." Mount Lady said.
"Ah, so you know my old hero name, do ya?" Nana smiled.
"Know it? I've got all your merch in storage, with an autographed photo I got from your last signing when I was a little girl. You were my idol." Mount Lady smiled.
"Well it's nice to see a fan. But I'm not a hero anymore, not since I woke up from my coma." Nana said, putting Eri on her shoulders.
"We have to get back to patrolling the fair grounds. So be careful, and keep a tighter grip on that purse of yours Miss." Death Arms said.
"I will." Athena smiled.
"You be sure to stay alert." Nana said.
~Arena~
"An' with that, the first match is over with." Present Mic called out.
"These lucky contestants will be moving on to the second round. In just a few short minutes, we'll be announcing the next event for those moving up the events ladder." Gine added.
"But first let's see who our remaining contestants are."
Kaen Yagi. Shoto Todoroki. Mina Ashido. Izumi Midoriya. Yang Xiao Long. Neito Monoma. Hitoshi Shinso. Tsuyu Asui. Mezo Shoji. Tenya Iida. Yuga Aoyama. Eijiro Kirishima. Mashirao Ojiro. Hanta Sero. Katsumi Bakugo. Momo Yaoyorozu. Fumikage Tokoyami. Denki Kaminari. Mei Hatsume. Ibara Shiozaki.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. Juzo Honenuki. Ruby Rose. Pony Tsunotori. Itsuka Kendo. Nirengeki Shoda. Jenny Wakeman. Kyoka Jiro. Koji Koda. Toru Hagakure. Ochako Uraraka. Setsuna Tokage. Jurota Shishida. Yui Kodai. Togaru Kamakiri. Rikido Sato. Kojiro Bondo. Kosei Tsuburaba. Hiryu Rin. Minoru Mineta.
"These forty students will be moving onto the next round of the Sports Festival." Mic announced. "Would the lovely Miss Midnight please announce what the next event will be?"
"Gather around students. For any who are injured, and feel they need to see the nurse, please exit the arena to your right when facing me, and to go to your seats, exit stage left." Midnight declared. "For those who've moved on to the next round, please focus your attention here to me." She said. "For this next event, you will be forming teams of five of your own choosing, and once all teams are formed, the event will begin. The event is, Red-vs-Blue Capture the Flag."
"Uh, how exactly is this game gonna work?" Yang questioned.
"I was just about to explain that." Midnight said. "This is how it's gonna work. Two teams will go at a time, and the leaders of those teams, will wear colored headbands, either red or blue, while the others wear armbands to show which team they are a part of. The goal is to take out as many of the opposing team's fighters as possible and grab their leaders headband, before time runs out. If both teams still have their headbands before the time runs out, then the team with the most members still standing wins. How you take out the other players besides the leader, is by removing their armbands. Once those are removed, the players who lost their arm bands, are to leave the arena and wait for the rest of their team on the sidelines."
"So it's sort of like the battle royal, but with teams competing against one another." Sero said.
"I think I understand. But that would mean half the competitors would be moving on to the final round." Sato exclaimed.
"Basically, it's a game of showing how the real world works, and how willing you are to play by its rules, by stepping over your fellow heroes to make a living." Kaen finished.
"It's cruel, but that's the truth of how our superhuman society works." Yang added.
"Alright eager fighters. You've all got ten minutes to form your teams, be ready by then, or you're disqualified." Midnight stated, before the timer started.
"Hmm, who should I have on my team?" Kaen pondered.
"Well I ain't letting you go out there alone mister." Mina said, wrapping his arm in a hug. "You can count me in as your teammate."
"Then that just leaves three."
"Hey, mind if I join?" Kirishima inquired.
"Same here, I wanna join your team too." Izumi said.
"Got room for one more?" Jiro questioned.
"Huh, I guess we'll spend the next 9minutes and 30seconds strategizing then." Kaen said. "I do have a plan if anyone is wanting to hear it."
"We're all ears man." Kirishima smiled.
~Times Up~
"Participants, are you ready to get your battle on?" Midnight questioned. "Here is the roster for our competing teams."
Yagi. Mina Ashido. Eijiro Kirishima. Izumi Midoriya. Kyoka Jiro.
Monoma. Minoru Mineta. Yuga Aoyama. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. Juzo Honenuki.
Shinso. Mashirao Ojiro. Nirengeki Shoda. Setsuna Tokage. Shoto Todoroki.
Rin. Jurota Shishida. Yui Kodai. Togaru Kamakiri. Rikido Sato.
Xiao Long. Momo Yaoyorozu. Fumikage Tokoyami. Ibara Shiozaki. Kojiro Bondo.
Uraraka. Mei Hatsume. Tsuyu Asui. Mezo Shoji. Kosei Tsuburaba.
Bakugo. Hanta Sero. Jenny Wakeman. Koji Koda. Toru Hagakure.
Rose. Pony Tsunotori. Itsuka Kendo. Tenya Iida. Denki Kaminari.
"An' to make things more interesting. The pairings of the teams facing off will be randomized." Midnight declared.
"Let's see what the randomization has to say on who will face off, against who." Mic announced.
After the randomization began, a lot of the participants began feeling nervous about what was to come of the results, before they finally came.
Team1-vs-Team2. Team7-vs-Team5. Team4-vs-Team6. Team8-vs-Team3.
"Will the first two teams please step forward." Midnight called out.
"Right. Mina, you deal with Aoyama. Kirishima, you deal with Tetsutetsu. Jiro, you go after Mineta. Izumi, you go after Juzo. I'll deal with Monoma." Kaen exclaimed. "Stick to the plan, and we'll win this with minimal casualties."
"Will you be all right, dealing with Monoma?" Mina asked.
"He provoked me the first time we met, and has continued to do so everyday since then, to try and prove to the student body, I'm just like Celeron. Well today, he's about to see his efforts bear fruit." Kaen stated. "Just not the type of fruit he's been wanting."
With both teams in the ring, Kaen and Monoma wearing the headbands, while everyone else wore armbands, the crowd could practically feel the tension as the two team captains stared each other down.
"Ready to be defeated you lousy villain?" Monoma questioned.
"Hey, not cool Monoma." Tetsutetsu said.
"I'm not a villain. But you're about to receive all the rage you've been building up in me with your provocations over the last couple weeks." Kaen said.
"BEGIN." Midnight called out.
"Oh I'd love to see you…" Monoma stopped as time slowed to a crawl, showing Kaen's fist was only a milometer away from his face.
As time sped back up, Kaen's fist made contact with Monoma's face, square in the center of the nose, sending him flying back. Before Monoma could be called out of bounds, Kaen was behind him, and kicked the boy into the air, causing the blonde to spit up saliva, and part of his lunch. Finally as he stopped his ascent, Kaen appeared right next to him, hands clasped over his head, before he threw them down, hitting Monoma in the back, and sending him careening to the ground below.
~Nine's Hideout~
"I thought you said, he was weak?" Chimera questioned, shocked and spilling his beer as he saw could barely see Kaen at the speed he was traveling.
"It doesn't exactly help that I don't know how many Zenkai Boosts he's had." Fasha said. "If he's had enough to make him this strong, then we might have a problem."
~Arena~
Before the blonde could hit the ground however, Kaen caught him in his arm, dangling like an idiot, as the Saiyan pulled Monoma's headband off, and dropped him to the ground, with a thump.
"An' that's the match. Team2 has lost."
"Wait, what happened?" Mineta questioned.
"Where'd my armband go?" Tetsutetsu asked.
"Mine's missing too." Juzo said.
"Same here." Aoyama stated.
"Looking for these?" Mina smiled.
The rest of Monoma's team looked over, to see that each of the members of Team1 had their armbands, and were smiling at their victory.
"But how?" Juzo questioned.
"Kaen came up with the plan." Kirishima smiled.
"He knew you'd all be too shocked from his initial speed and attack on Monoma, to really notice anything going on around you." Izumi explained.
"His first attack on Monoma was the signal for us to do our parts." Jiro smiled.
"Which as you can see." Mina snickered. "Was to move as fast as we could, and remove your armbands from you, before you snapped out of your shock."
"From there, it was easy as pie." Kaen said. "Sorry about that, better luck next year."
~Fairgrounds~
"Incredible." Nana smiled. "He'd planned that whole situation, in such a short amount of time."
"That's Kaen for you." Athena said proudly.
"Papa's the greatest." Eri cheered with a smile.
"Your Papa is pretty powerful." Nana chuckled, amused at how excited Eri was acting.
~Arena~
"I was hoping I'd be up against Deku and that damned Monkey, to put them in their places." Katsumi said cracking her knuckles. "But I guess this will just have to do."
"I can assure you, I'm more than enough to take you down." Yang said.
"Oi, extras." Katsumi called to her teammates. "Don't get in my way, or you're all dead."
"BEGIN." Midnight called out.
