Jim sat at his desk, day dreaming of the hijinks he used to pull on Dwight. A sly grin graced his face and then his thoughts shifted to Pam. He had called recentley to see if the Stanton Branch had recieved an order he purposley sent over their by " mistake ". He had to hear her voice, if only for the " Dundler Miflin, this is Pam ". He had talked to her for a few minutes, making sure she was ok after she left Roy and joking with here about the reception food that was proably becoming her least favorties about now. She had asked him how he knew, and he made up some story about how Michael had told him at the conference, but in all truth, he had an insider looking over Pam for him. He so badly wanted to be back there with her.

" Jim? " a voice said from behind him. It was his new co-worker Ted. Ted was a fun guy. He played basketball with Jim on the weekends now and that always made life a little better for him. " You playing this weekend? I know a couple of girls that like to watch us men get all sweaty and make complete fools of ourselves for their sake, what ya think? ". Jim nervously came up with an excuse. " Not this weekend man, my parents are down, and you know how that is ". Ted looked at him weird, but shrugged and went back to work. Jim's parent's lived in Florida, and he knew they were not coming home to see him, but he had another plan, and that plan was to ask Pam out, for the very first time, on a date. He knew she would proably shoot him down, but maybe not. I mean they had worked together for 4 years, and the whole time she was dating Roy, who now is out of the picture for the time being.

Jim picked the phone up and dialed the Stanton Branch. " Dundler Mifflin, this is Pam ". Jim hesitated for a minute. " Hey Beesley, how's the paper buisness today? ". There was a quite chuckle on the other end. " I don't know, you tell me, seeing that you had to move to another branch because you are such a good salesman! " Jim looked at the camera that was now breathing down his neck. " I was calling to see what you had planned for this weekend. I have tickets to the Killer's concert and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me. I know how you like the Killer's. The phone line seemed dead on the other end, then Pam spoke. " Me and Roy are trying to work things out Jim, he came over last night and confessed to me that he didn't know what he had and now he never wanted to let me go. I beleive him Jim, he has changed. Jim sat there with blank look on his face. " Oh..well that's great Pam..tell him that most people don't get a second chance with a good thing. Bye Pam. " Jim dropped the phone into the craddle as he placed his hand in front of the camera. " Just leave ".
