Hello all, it's been awhile. Probably a little too long as I think about the last time I posted an update. Unfortunately I've decided to go ahead and stop writing stories on this site. With having a full time job along with family I don't have time to write or finish anything and I know I won't ever come back to this. I've enjoyed my many years on this site as a reader and writer, but it's time for me to call it quits for good.
However, I don't want to just quit without leaving some closure. So for each of my stories I'm going to post the current progress I had with the chapter (which depending on the story might not be a lot of progress or polished) and give my plans for how I was going to take the story and wrap everything up to give some closure to those who care.
Finally if anyone wants to take my stories or ideas and make them their own feel free to do so. And for the last time stay safe out there and enjoy your life!

Chapter 24. Heading out
(Two Weeks later)
It's been two weeks, two long weeks of Naruto growing increasingly on edge due to the blond not making any active moves against Salem. In fact the eldest child of Raven was wanting more than anything to storm out on his own and begin his crusade against the woman who killed his father and destroyed Beacon. However, Naruto and Nora had already discussed why they should wait for Raven's orders to make a move. Though Naruto found it much harder to restrain himself, as years of living with his mother conditioned him to a certain mindset and behavior.
To Naruto's merit he was trying to fix those flaws that were interwoven into him by his mother, but this wasn't an easy task by any means. This is why Naruto was currently sitting cross legged before his father's grave with a somber face. Considering the teenager wanted to be a better man like his father was, but he didn't have the guidance he needed. So he hoped just being alone with his deceased father would give him some spark of enlightenment or at least help him clear his thoughts.
Unfortunately today was no different than the last thirteen days he spent alone at his father's grave.
"I only knew you for such a short time, but I quickly learned you were a much better man than I could ever dream of becoming." Naruto mumbled softly, while his hands tore into the dirt by his sides. "Even thinking back to your sacrifices and kindness my admiration and love for you only grows. Through with you gone my greed wants more time with you and I know that can never happen and it leaves me with so much anger."
Waiting in silence and stewing in his own frustrations and pity, Naruto was suddenly alerted by the soft patter of footsteps. This caused Naruto to glance to his side and notice Nora along with Zwei slowly walking over towards his location.
"Poor little Zwei was really starting to miss you." Nora called out softly, while Naruto simply smiled as the tiny dog trotted over to the blond. "Plus I was starting to miss you as well."
Letting Zwei hop onto his lap, Naruto slowly scratched the dog's ear and laughed. "Well I'm not going anywhere soon. So neither of you two have to worry."
Nora merely grinned and took her place by Naruto's side. Then by placing her head against Naruto's shoulder she closed her eyes. "I know."
The couple relaxed in silence and merely enjoyed each other's presence, but the tranquility was about to be short lived. Considering the sound of more feet approaching from the distance caught the attention of Naruto and Nora. Both of whom glanced out the corner of their eyes to find Jaune walking over towards them.
"Hey I hope I'm not interrupting anything." The leader of Team JNNP joked loudly, while scratching the back of his head.
"You are." Nora cut back in a sharp and sassy voice, which made Jaune twitch nervously. "But I take it we are needed back at camp?"
Jaune simply nodded his head. "Yeah Raven is calling for everyone to meet up back at the house. So I came to get the both of you."
"Well I guess that can't be helped." Nora began, while she stood to her feet and looked to her boyfriend. "Shall we?"
Taking a mere second glance at Taiyang's grave, Naruto nodded and stood to his feet. Meanwhile Zwei was tightly secured within his arms. "Yeah lets go see what she wants."
Throwing his hands behind his head, Jaune smiled wide and began to walk with his two friends. "Maybe it's finally time for us to make a move?"
Naruto sighed. "I hope so. I'm going insane with all this waiting around."
Nora nodded and held out a clenched fist. "Yeah I'm ready to head out and kick some ass!"
Jaune looked to Naruto and then Nora, which caused the boy to smile and shake his head. "Man you two are something else. Everyone else is stressing over just the idea of heading out and facing Salem and most of them haven't even faced the woman. Meanwhile both of you have had your fair share of encounters with her and you're more than willing to get back into the action without hesitation. Either you're both crazy or simply even more extraordinary than I've given you credit."
Naruto held his head up high. "Well me and Nora are pretty great!" The blond boasted, while his girlfriend who brought her hand to her lips to muffle her laughter had a different way of thinking.
"More like me and you aren't the most stable pair. So if anyone is insane enough to keep going after Salem it would be us." Nora pointed out.
Naruto shrugged his shoulders and winked at his girlfriend. "You make us sound worse than we are."
Nora blew a kiss directly to Naruto. "Maybe you're right my little greedy boyfriend."
Jaune rolled his eyes. "I take back everything I said. You two are insufferable when you're together!"
Nora rubbed her shoulders against Jaune's and made a smug face. "Oh don't be such a sour puss Jaune. You only say that because you're jealous that you haven't even rounded first base yet with Pyrrha!"
Naruto leaned forward and began to point and snicker at Jaune, which caused the team leader to blush a deep shade of red in anger.
"Just because me and Pyrrha aren't sex fiends like the two of you-. . ."
"Arc is up to bat in the bottom of the ninth." Naruto cut in, while he did a poor sports commentator impersonation.
Jaune rolled his eyes and Nora giggled before leaning forward and pretending to hold a microphone.
"He's been on a cold streak ever since his last strike out against the Ice Queen, but what's this a hit! Oh ladies and gentlemen Arc is rapidly approaching first base." Nora chimed in, as she joined in on Naruto's teasing.
"Look at that he's going against the all star on first base Pyrrha Nikos, but what's this? Arc is a complete moron that can't take a hint? Oh that's too bad, looks like another scoreless night for Arc as he grounds out at first base!
"What an awful night to be an Arkos fan ladies and gentlemen!"
"One Arkos is my thing, you guys can't use it. Two you both are the worst." Jaune declared, which made the couple burst into laughter.
Naruto and Nora both wiped a tear from their eyes and smirked. "We know!" The duo replied in perfect sync, while the group walked into the main basecamp where the tribe was located. Unfortunately for Jaune, Pyrrha was waiting for her team with a rather happy smile.
"Are you three ready to hear what Raven has to say?" Phyrrha asked.
Naruto nodded and walked past his teammate. "As good as I'll ever be." The blond replied, as he walked towards where his mother was waiting, while Nora followed close behind.
Pyrrha turned to a blushing Jaune and held her hand out with a smile. "Let's go join them Jaune. Or are you still upset over your big Arkos strikeout?"
"Y-you heard all that!" Jaune stammered out in surprise, which earned a giggle from the redhead.
"Naruto and Nora aren't the quitest pair. I heard everything." The warrior explained before leaning forward and stealing a kiss from her partner. "But let's not worry about them too much."
"Yeah." Jaune whispered softly.
Smiling at one another, Jaune and Pyrrha both walked to where Raven was holding her meeting and found the woman standing before everyone with a map of Remnant behind her back and a scowl on her face.
"Well looks like everyone is finally here." The Spring Maiden began with a hardened expression. "So let's get down to business."
"Which is what exactly?" Naruto asked in a slightly annoyed voice, as he folded his arms and looked around. "And where is Uncle Qrow?"
"Yeah shouldn't we wait for him?" Ruby asked in a curious voice, while Raven shook her head.
"I sent him out a few hours ago because we are finally starting our moves against Salem." Raven revealed firmly, which got a few surprised looks.
"Well it's about time." Vernal grumbled from the side of the room. "I've been growing impatient over these last few weeks."
"We all have and it's clearly apparent." Raven replied in a matter of fact tone, while her crimson eyes scanned the room. "So let's get this discussion underway starting with what I want from each of you starting with team VVIC. You four are going to infiltrate Atlas and keep a foothold within the area, while also looking for Relics and Maidens."
Vernal, Ino, Coco and Velvet all looked forward with a serious gaze as their leader merely pointed to each girl.
"Nora, Naruto Jaune and Pyrrha I want you four to head to Mistral.
Nora comes and says she will help
Have raven explain four nations and Salem domain Britainia
Raven starts to send people out. But has them exchange drinks as parent and child
-Team VVIC goes to Atlas
-Team JNNP moves to Mistral
-Qrow I want you checking on a few things in Vacco
-Rest train until find allies for army
-What to do with Zwei? I have an idea!
Departure day, Naruto leaves book for Ruby and arm for Yang. Former who starts to read. Meanwhile Raven kicks up Team RWBY's training.
Salem squad is on the move!
Team JNNP arrive to a town and see wanted posters for Weiss. Well that's something and make way over to Arc family home. Meet the family!

Naruto and co would drop Zwei off with Jaune's family to meet his sister's and get some exposition from Jaunes dad. Who essentially says their family comes from a long line of heroes and kings.
The group eventually finds Oscar who has his soul bonded with Ozpin just like Naruto and Ren. (When I wrote this story we didn't know why Ozpin was in oscars head. So I made my own explanation to build my plot around it)
Oscar would have been living with his mother and a candidate for the relic that Naruto and co have. Oscar of course didn't want anything to do with becoming some kind of fighter and he just wants to live his life as a lazy farm boy, but Salem's followers would attack Oscars home and in the chaos his mom would get killed. Triggering Oscars latent abilities to show themselves and he would fight back in a rage. Making him the grizzly sin of sloth.
Meanwhile team RWBY would have their own issues with learning the truth of rwby's dad and heading to where Blake's family is to recruit more people to help their fight.
At this point the group has
Naruto- sin of greed
Nora - sin of gluttony
Oscar- Sin of sloth
Of course the other eventual members would be
Jaune-wrath
Yang- Pride
Ruby-Envy
Pyrrha-Lust
Naruto and everyone would make it to Mistral where they would meet Leo who after some time would take them into a dust cave for a "relic" however, instead Salem's forces are waiting to ambush them.
But within this cave is something I was going to call "time dust." It would explode and send everyone back in time. It works like an imaginary tether that sends people back in time for a duration depending on how much dust is used (which is a lot) then when their time is up. The imaginary tether pulls them back to the moment from where they left.
The time they are sent to us long before the four kingdoms and they are randomly dropped into the continent where Salem is from. However, the area isn't corrupted by Grimm and is actually the kingdom of Britainia in all its glory. In this time the Seven deadly sins are all alive and livinging in the kingdom.
Ban is actually Naruto's ancestor and Meliodas is the ancestor for Jaune.
We learn that the power the past and future sins have is fragmented power from the god of light. And the power Salem has is fragmented power from the god of darkness. Basically in my story the two brother's fought and killed each other making their power disperse and go to individuals who could use the power.
In this past timeline we learn of a powerful sentient Grimm dragon and no one has ever heard of Salem.
Naruto and his allies (Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, Oscar) are stuck within this time period for a year.
Within this year they train and get stronger, but Nora gets pregnant.
While Nora is giving birth the Grimm dragon attacks and the old sins plus the ones who are there combine their power to fight back. They kill the dragon and Nora gives birth to a girl who is delivered by Elizabeth.
However, as Elizabeth holds the baby, Naruto and everyone finally run out of time dust and are sent back to their time. However, the baby was born in the past and stays in the past.
Naruto and Nora realize this and are distort and meanwhile in the past everyone surrounds the baby and realizes they need to name and raise the baby. So they call the baby Salem. Who unknown to everyone takes in the power from the god of darkness that was released when the Grimm dragon was killed and just like that Salem's origin I created was Naruto and Nora's daughter left in the past and corrupted by the power from the god of darkness.
After this a few more arcs would go down where we find other relics and maidens. Along with Naruto and everyone sorting out the issues in Atlas and Vacco. Raven would die in the Atlas arc and be a major driving force where her last thought is of Yang.
The end basically is where Naruto and Nora learn Salem is their daughter. And Naruto uses his ability to "steal" everyone's power and he and Nora essentially kill themselves to stop their daughter. Letting everyone else live while Naruto, Nora and Salem all die in the process. Leaving a future where.
Jaune marries Pyrrha and they run beacon
Blake and sun marry and run mistral
Weiss and Yang end up together and run Atlas
Ruby and Oscar get together and travel the world
All while honoring their friends who lost their life's protecting the world. The final scene would have been in another life with a modern day setting where Naruto and Nora are both married together with their small daughter Salem. Giving eveyone a nice ending.
