UA's Saiyan Heroes

"Ah, this is so unfair. Why did Master have to get left behind. It's so not cool, and now the distribution of True Justice, is off balance with just me and with Master in prison." Seryuu grumbled, sitting at the bar of the villains hideout.

"Calm yourself Strife. With Celeron's arm as busted up as it is, he could only grab one of you, and since you were closest, you were the obvious choice." Kurogiri said, sliding a drink to her.

"Ah, I know, but still. Master was so kind to me, he made me feel like my endeavors for True Justice, weren't a waste of time. That I could achieve my goals." Seryuu sighed, accepting the drink, and turning to Celeron. "Thank you again by the way, for pulling me out of there."

"If I hadn't, we'd have lost a valuable asset, to the heroes." Celeron said. "So do the smart thing, and join the League. We couldn't convince your Master to join, but I know you're smarter then that. I know you, will do the right thing, and help tear down this society."

"An' what would tearing down the society do?" Seryuu questioned.

"It would tear down all those in charge, and bring true justice to the country." Shigaraki said. "Those who've been shunned and forced into the shadows, will be brought into the light."

"So, what path will you choose?" Celeron questioned.

~Kaen, Mina, Eri~

"Today's been so much fun. It's good to make some pleasant memories in place of the bad ones recently made." Mina said, holding Eri's hand. "Lunch was so much fun, and I had a great time. But what do we do now?"

"I don't know, I didn't really think of much when bringing us… here…" Kaen paused, as he looked down an alley that seemed very familiar, and it felt like it was calling to him.

"Kaen, what's the matter?" Mina asked, as he went down the alley.

"I don't know, but I feel like something's calling me down this way." Kaen said.

"Let's follow him sweetie. We might need to stick close to him in case anything happens." Mina said.

"Yes Mama." Eri said as they followed Kaen.

Grabbing each of his hands, Mina and Eri followed Kaen down the path that was pulling him forward, before they stopped at a dead end in the alley.

"Is this it?" Mina asked.

"No, it's beyond this point." Kaen said, before pushing his hand into the wall.

Expecting to find resistance, Kaen was shocked, when his hand went through the wall, like it wasn't even there.

"An illusion?" Kaen questioned.

"Kaen, I don't think we should be… and he already went in." Mina sighed.

"Come on Mama, let's follow." Eri said, running through the wall.

"Well at least this is more adventurous then I expected the day to be." Mina shrugged, before following them in.

It was dark inside, but thankfully, Kaen was lighting the way with a ball of Ki. They currently stood on a platform, with a set of stairs leading downward.

"Where are we?" Mina asked.

"I think I have a pretty good idea. Of where we are. It's familiar, but I can't say when or how I've been here before." Kaen said.

"This place is creepy." Eri said. "Let's go deeper."

"I don't think that's such a good idea." Mina said.

"Agreed, but yet I can't help but feel like we need to." Kaen stated. "If anything happens, I will take full responsibility for it."

"Well, if you're putting that on your Saiyan Pride, then I guess we don't really have any choice." Mina said. "Let's head in."

Following the stairs down, the trio anxiously awaited for what they might find, before they stopped, sooner before anyone expected. But they weren't expecting what they found.

"A brick wall?" Mina questioned as Kaen stepped up to it.

Raising his hand, Kaen knocked on the wall three times.

"What are you doing?"

"I don't know. It just felt like the right thing to do." Kaen said.

Before Mina could say anything else, one of the bricks opened up, revealing the sunglasses through the hole, before the wall began to glow with a violet light, and disassembled, reassembling behind them. Standing in front of them, reading a book, was Mecheal, but none of them didn't know, or had any recollection of him.

"Welcome." Mecheal said. "I'm glad you three could make it."

"You were expecting us?" Mina asked.

"Of course, I did promise that… Ah, pardon me. I did wipe the memories of one of you." Mecheal said, before his hand began to glow, with a matching light shining around Kaen's head, before he held his head as the light died. "You will feel a slight headache, but your memories should have returned to you."

"Yeah, I remember you now." Kaen said. "You're the one who removed the Quirk Canceling Collar from Mina, and saved her from Fujio."

"That was you?" Mina asked.

"It was indeed. But you three aren't here to say thank you, I don't much need it." Mecheal said.

"Right, you said that if I came back in two days, you'd help me find out, why that painting of Son Wukong, looks exactly like me."

"An' I always keep my word." Mecheal said, closing his book. "Follow me."

Mina looked at Kaen, but before either of them could say a word, Eri began to float, and laughed as she flew through the air, being suspended by Mecheal's telekinetic power.

"Come along, all of you." Mecheal instructed, with Kaen and Mina following, as he still made Eri fly.

"What is this place?" Kaen asked. "Last time I was here, I noticed it looked an awful lot like a library."

"So you have been here before?" Mina inquired.

"I wouldn't get mad at him young lady." Mecheal said. "I had wiped his memories of anything regarding coming and rescuing you, so he wouldn't get in trouble. As you saw a moment ago, I had already returned them to him."

"So how exactly do you plan on helping me find out why the man in the painting looks exactly like me?" Kaen inquired.

"One question at a time please." Mecheal said, stopping them in front of a sheet covered display. "To answer your first question, this is what you'd most likely call, my base of operations. At one point in time, this structure we're standing in, was a fortress in the sky, known as the Lookout. But as Quirks became a thing, the power that kept it afloat, began to fade, and in time, it sank into the earth, becoming buried with an underground pocket of air, before I stumbled upon it, and made this place my home. It's several miles bellow the earths surface, so it's convenient no one will find it."

"So you just claimed this place, on the finders keepers rule?" Mina asked.

"Not quite. In exchange for living here, I took on the role of the being who watched over the earth, but was no longer needed when Quirks took over the society." Mecheal said. "I guess you could say, my official title, is Earth's Guardian. My power and abilities have gained a substantial boost after accepting the position. But I'm forbidden from intervening in mortal affairs, not that I would, as I gave up on humanity years ago. Now I just watch out and prevent any apocalyptic catastrophes from happening. An' with my powers as advanced as they are, I can reverse my age by one day, to keep myself from aging, if I so please. It's why I still look twenty, when I'm actually in my sixties."

"Dang, that's a neat power." Mina said.

"We're lucky All-for-One, didn't get his hands on his Quirk."

"Ah yes, that ruffian who always thinks himself atop the world, with those upstarts Shigaraki and Celeron." Mecheal sighed. "Now as to your second inquiry, I'll be able to help you, with this."

Removing the sheet from the display, Kaen, Mina, and Eri gasped, when they saw the mummified remains of a long dead Saiyan, in a meditative sitting position in the main container, with several artifacts on the displays, such as a bow staff, antique leather armor, and even some gear that looked like it belonged to royalty.

"Is that…"

"The remains of the Mummified Saiyan, discovered in an ancient tomb inside the Great Wall of China back when Quirks first started popping up. The legendary Son Wukong." Mecheal said, his face showing a hint of an amused smile. "Shall we begin?"

~League of Villains Bar~

"Shigaraki. Dr. Ujoki has found some information about someone who could be quite useful to us, and maybe even be of some service to the master." Kurogiri said.

"I don't care about that. Who do you expect us to send? All our players are still in recovery, and we still don't have a healer in our party." Shigaraki said. "Not to mention, our party's potential assassin, is still trying to make up her mind about joining us."

"I can do." Celeron said. "My shoulder might still be recovering from the dislocation Kaen did, but one arm should be more then enough to handle a target for potential recruitment."

"If you're certain." Kurogiri said, handing Celeron the file. "The man's name is Mecheal Tetsuo. He's got powerful telepathic, and other various psychic abilities. Don't take him lightly. Even All-for-One, is weary of this one, and is unsure as to whether or not we can trust him completely, if at all."

"Anything else?"

"Don't kill him. His Quirk is extremely powerful. So even if he won't side with us, the Master could still make good use of his power, and his body for the Nomu experiments, once he's been stripped of his abilities."

"Right. I'll be sure to find him, no problem." Celeron said.

~Underground Lookout~

"So, how is this exactly supposed to help?" Kaen asked.

"Well in order for that to happen, I'm gonna need a sample of your DNA." Mecheal said. "I hope you aren't afraid of needles, because I'd rather not tear a chunk of your flesh out for the DNA sample."

"Draw as much blood as you need." Kaen said, holding out his arm to Mecheal.

"Young Lady, would you mind putting on a pair of gloves, and taking a sample of the dried skin that's peeling from the corpse? I'll need something to compare the DNA to." Mecheal said, sticking the needle in Kaen's arm. "That's some thick skin you got there."

"Wait, are you thinking Kaen and Sun Wukong are related?" Mina asked putting on some gloves.

"It's a theory I have. One that would be more popular then most. If I can prove your boyfriend is a direct descendant of the Monkey King, then he could be the key to figuring out one of the greatest mysteries that have boggled scientists minds, since the remains were found. The remains were found with a treasure chest made of bamboo, but impossible to open, through any sort of means humanly possible."

"Hold on. How'd you even get your hands on the remains anyway?" Kaen asked. "I thought they were part of an exhibit on ancient Chinese remains at a museum in America?"

"I procured them from the museum. Bought them for the lookout, which I happen to treat as my study. I am an archeologist, and a paleontologist, and my great-grandfather was the man who discovered the remains to begin with." Mecheal said, removing the needle from Kaen's arm. "There we go. How's that sample coming along?"

"Almost got it." Mina said, half her body sticking out of the glass container, as she was scraping a few skin cells from the mummified face. "Is this really the same man we saw in the painting?"

"Speaking of. I also have that with me." Mecheal said.

"You what?"

"I recently bought it off the Yaoyorozu family, and bought it for twice the amount they paid for it. Their daughter seemed happy to part with it, I assume she found it eerily disturbing at how much it resembled you." Mecheal said, using his telekinesis to bring the painting forward, showing them he did have it.

"Okay, I guess that makes sense they'd want to sell it after finding out it looks just like Kaen." Mina said.

"Papa's gonna find out why he's in the painting." Eri smiled.

"Okay, I got the sample." Mina said.

"Good. Now, normally a DNA test of this magnitude would take quite a while, a few weeks to get done. But thanks to modern technology, it'll take but an hour." Mecheal said, using his telekinesis to take both DNA samples. "Please, feel free to explore the Lookout, but do not break anything. There are artifacts in this place you couldn't possibly hope to replace in a thousand lifetimes. I'll join you shortly with some tea."

"Alright." Mina said.

~Athena/Ruby/Hatsume~

"Ruby, I thought you said we'd be meeting your uncle in a day. It's been almost a week." Athena said.

"I said you might. He's in high demand, so he's had to take care of a few things before he could come out and meet up with us." Ruby said, before there was a knocking at the door. "That should be him."

"If not, it should be the pizzas I ordered." Mei said.

Opening the door, Mei found two men standing out there, one of them dressed in a fancy suit with dusted black hair in a feathery style, and another holding five boxes of pizza.

"They're both here. Please come in Mr. Branwen, Ruby and Athena are expecting you." Mei said, allowing for Qrow to come in.

"Thank you kindly." He smiled, heading past Mei.

Heading into the living room of the apartment, Qrow was greeted by Ruby jumping into his arms, and hanging from one of them.

"Uncle Qrow, it's so good to see you. Did you miss me, did you miss me?" Ruby questioned excitedly.

"Nope." Qrow smiled playfully, before Ruby dropped down. "So, I take it you're my supposed client?" He inquired, looking to Athena.

"Yes sir. I'm Athena Yagi." She said. "If I may ask, how much will your services cost?"

"Please don't even worry about it." Qrow said. "You're a friend of Ruby's, and any friend of hers, gets treated like family, so this is pro-bono."

"Thank you so much." Athena said, bowing slightly with her hands cradling her belly.

"Ruby, you didn't say anything about her being a pregnant teen." Qrow said.

"They're no hers." Ruby said. "Athena's a surrogate for a mother who needed to get chemotherapy in the middle of her pregnancy, so using a Quirk she copied from one of the nurses, she transferred the babies into herself, and became the couple's surrogate."

"Well, isn't that just thoughtful of you young lady." Qrow smiled. "Now, tell me, you weren't there and weren't given a say in this Quirk Marriage agreement, were you?"

"Pizza's here. You're more then welcome for some if you want Mr. Branwen." Mei interrupted.

"Appreciated, I had skipped lunch." Qrow said. "Now, Ms. Yagi, could you please answer the question."

"Of course." Athena said. "No I had not been present for the agreement, nor had I been present for negotiations leading up to it. I was doing volunteer work at the hospital, while my dad made the agreement at the Endeavor Agency with Endeavor himself."

"So we're going against Endeavor huh? This won't be easy, but I'm sure we can make it work. Is there anything else I should know about this case?" Qrow questioned.

"Yeah, we don't have any physical proof, but my dad was blackmailed by Endeavor, into signing the agreement."

"An' you're sure about this?" Qrow inquired. "Because if you could get some physical evidence, or even a confession from Endeavor about him actually blackmailing your father, then we could settle this matter, out of court. It won't matter how many high paid lawyers Endeavor has, he won't be able to do something against evidence like that."

"Well… I could approach him, and hide a recording device somewhere on me and we might get the confession we need." Ruby said.

"No, not you. If he's gonna slip up about it, it'll have to be with Ms. Yagi confronting him, otherwise he'll have his guard up to the max. I'll even go with her to make sure she's safe." Qrow said. "How did her brother take this news?"

"It's given him more of a reason not to talk with their father then he already had." Mei said.

"Would he be able to cooperate and agree to taking the stand?" Qrow asked.

"He would. We don't need to worry about that." Athena said.

"One more thing." Qrow began. "If I'm to help settle this matter, I'm needing to know what Endeavor is blackmailing your father with. An' I'll need the actual truth."

Athena just looked at Qrow, before she sighed, and looked to Ruby and Mei.

"Sorry girls, but this is something you can't listen in on. Could you maybe, step out for a minute?" Athena asked.

"Of course." Mei said.

"We'll be in the other room." Ruby said as they left the room.

With the others leaving, Athena looked at Qrow who had a serious look on his face.

"Something tells me, this is something the public might not want to hear." Qrow said.

"You could say that…" Athena sighed. "Where do I start?"

"How about with what you're keeping secret?" Qrow asked. "I swear on my license and profession as a lawyer, that whatever you tell me will not leave this apartment."

"Fair enough. I have your word." Athena said. "For starters, my elder brother is the Supervillain, Akuma."

"Plenty of families have villains among their bloodline. Why would this matter?" Qrow asked.

"Because my father is a well respected hero in our society. My father, is All Might." Athena stated.

~Underground Lookout~

"This place is so big, and so historic." Mina said. "There are countless fossils everywhere."

"A lot of historic treasures to." Kaen said, looking at a pocket watch. "This is one of Hitler's lost treasures from World War2."

"It's much older then that, but you've got its last owner right." Mecheal said coming into the room, with a tray of tea cups and food.

"So how are the test results coming along?" Mina inquired.

"The DNA test is almost finished. It might be a bit unclear, but if there are some similarities in your DNA and the fossilized DNA of the Monkey King, they will appear." Mecheal explained.

"So… what made you decide to want to help Papa figure out the mystery?" Eri asked.

"I think I might know the reason." Kaen said.

"Say another word and I'll turn your head inside out." Mecheal said, a daring gleam in his eye.

"Fine, but don't expect me to keep quiet for long." Kaen said.

"Then I guess I could always wipe your memory again." Mecheal stated.

"You could, but that would be a waste of your time for what's gone on today." Kaen shrugged.

"Tsk, well played." Mecheal said, before something on his hip beeped. "Ah, it's about time I check up on the results of the test. I'll be back in but a moment." He stated, before heading back to the lab area.

"He has a pager?" Mina asked. "Those things are like super ancient."

"I think that was more of a stopwatch." Kaen said.

"His sandwiches are so good." Eri smiled, munching on one with a bright light emitting from her.

"So spill, what's the big secret he's not wanting you to tell me?" Mina smiled.

"Well… I can't actually say. You might not believe me." Kaen said.

"Oh come on. Please tell me." Mina stated.

"Sorry, I'm not gonna. To be honest, Mecheal kinda scares me." Kaen stated.

"He scares you?" Mina asked.

"I never expected that of a Saiyan Warrior." Mecheal said, coming back into the room with the test results in hand.

"You're back. That was fast." Mina said.

"Indeed. It was quite easy to get the results after they'd been finished." Mecheal said. "But in all honesty, compared to me, your latent battle potential as a Saiyan Elite, far surpasses my current power level. But as you are now, yeah you're no match for the power I have."

"Hold on you know about Saiyans?" Mina inquired.

"Your father brought you here, because he thought you were under some kind of mind control. I scanned through your mind, and as I thought, I didn't find anything like that. I also scanned through your memories, but I've been aware of Saiyans long before that. However I'd never actually met one before I met Kaen." Mecheal said. "At least a living Saiyan."

"Speaking of that cadaver, what are the results of the test?" Kaen asked.

"Yes. Unfortunately, the DNA was too corroded to find any familial matches to Kaen's, but the test did match the species of their DNA's. Both Kaen and the Monkey King, are indeed pure blooded Saiyans." Mecheal stated.

"So at least we got one mystery out of the way." Mina said. "But, what was the Monkey King holding?"

"What do you mean?" Mecheal asked.

"When we saw his mummified body, we noticed his arms were in the position, that he was holding something in his hands at both top and bottom ends of the item." Kaen said. "What exactly was he holding?"

Mecheal looked at Kaen and Mina, before he sighed, and shook his head.

"I had a feeling you might have noticed that." Mecheal said. "Originally, the remains of the Monkey King, had been found with an ultra rare, and mysterious crystal in his hands. But the strange part was, the crystal wasn't being held up by anything, as it was floating between his hands, suspended in midair."

"You mean, he was found with that crystal floating in his hands?" Mina asked.

"Yes, but before I could do anything to study it, the gem was purchased by David Shield, head scientist and researcher of Support Gear on I-Island, from the same museum as the corpse." Mecheal said.

"Oh, Kaen knows him. In fact he and Melissa Shield are cousins in all but blood." Mina stated. "So, Kaen could probably…"

"It won't work Mina." Kaen said. "Uncle David is very protective of his research. Even if it's family asking, he won't allow anyone access to any of his projects or research. So if he has this gemstone, you can bet he won't agree to me asking him if Mecheal could study it for a while."

"It was a nice thought, but he's right." Mecheal said, taking a seat at his desk. "I've already put in several requests with David Shield to study the gemstone. But he's always denied me access to studying it."

"That sounds like him." Kaen stated. "But still, if that crystal has something to do with a link to the Saiyan Race, then we need it, and quickly."

"Agreed." Mecheal said.

"Hold on, I just realized something." Mina said. "If we're miles underground, how did we get here so fast?"

"Hmm? Oh, that's simple. The wall you went through, is a portal created by the Lookout, for anyone actively seeking it. It'll only open for those who intend to seek for the lookout, or who are guided. The portal leads to a platform at the top of a flight of stairs that's a couple hundred feet. The portal is also why there's an abundance of oxygen available for us to breathe, since the initial pocket the lookout was in, was finite, otherwise we'd have all died of suffocation long before now." Mecheal explained.

"Good to know." Mina said, getting a chill down her spine.

~Athena/Qrow~

"Are you sure you wanna go through with this? It's not too late to back down." Qrow said, standing next to Athena, in front of the Endeavor Agency. "Once we confront him about this, there's no going back."

"I'm sure. Mei's carrying the babies while we take care of this." Athena said, dressed in a black skirt suit, with a white blouse underneath, and wearing heels. "Let's get it over with."

"No hesitation. You'd make for an exceptional lawyer." Qrow smiled.

"I don't really have an intention for becoming a lawyer." Athena said, as they marched in.

Taking the elevator to the top floor of the Endeavor Agency, Athena and Qrow weren't deterred as their path was blocked by one of Endeavor's sidekicks, Burnin.

"What can I do for you two?" Burnin questioned.

"We're here to see Endeavor." Qrow said.

"Sorry, but he's not here at the moment. He's busy and all, being the #2Hero and all." Burnin chuckled.

"Really? Because I can feel his Ki, in his office, burning bright like the flaming dumpster he is." Athena stated.

"Endeavor spends a lot of time writing his reports in his office. You're probably just feeling his residual Ki." Burnin said, a tick mark forming on her forehead.

"That's not how Ki works." Athena said. "You can't fool a master of Ki manipulation. No matter how stupid you are."

"Look, you can either let us in now, or we can return with a court ordered warrant for an audience with Endeavor. Now how would it look if it became public knowledge that a lawyer was forced to get a judge to sign a court ordered appeal for a visit with Endeavor?" Qrow questioned with a smirk.

Burnin just glared at them, before she stepped out of the way, allowing them through. With their path cleared, Qrow and Athena walked past the sidekicks, and to Endeavor's office, before they opened the door.

"Endeavor?" Qrow questioned. "We need to talk."

"Who are you? I'm busy."

"This will only take a moment of your time." Athena said.

"Ah, you're my son's betrothed. What can I do for you?" Endeavor questioned.

"We're here, to get the Quirk Marriage, nullified without taking this to court." Qrow said. "Under paragraph law 57 subsection 3, should a minor be involved in the arrangement of a Quirk Marriage, said minor has a right to a voice their opinions on the matter. You gave neither your son, nor my client, a say in this agreement."

"They were not present, so they could not voice their opinions." Endeavor said.

"Please leave us for a second." Athena said, looking to Qrow.

"I'll be right outside." Qrow said, leaving the office.

After he left, Athena just looked at Endeavor, with an unamused look on her face.

"Why exactly, do you think either Todoroki or I, would be okay with this?" Athena asked.

"You both are still too young to know what's right for your futures. So the matter was handled by the adults." Endeavor said.

"An' what about the bit about my brother?" Athena inquired. "Did you have to bring Akuma into the matter?"

"Using your fathers relation to Akuma, was a bit of an incentive I used, to make sure he understood, how serious the situation was." Endeavor said.

"So you admit you blackmailed my father, into signing the Quirk Marriage contract?" Athena inquired.

"If you wanna call what I did, blackmail, then yes I did blackmail your father into signing the contract." Endeavor said.

"That's all I needed to hear." Athena smiled, pulling her phone out from her chest, and fiddling with it a bit.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh nothing. Just sending our recorded conversation, and your full confession, to a private E-Mail that's in my brother's name." Athena said, before hitting the send button.

"You delete that recording right now."

"Won't do any good to delete it from my phone now. The E-Mail I sent it to, is only accessible to two people, my twin brother, and my Lawyer." Athena said.

"We get the confession?" Qrow questioned coming back into the room.

"Sent to the E-Mail and everything." Athena smiled.

"You see Endeavor, you're left with two options now." Qrow said. "Either you nullify the contract here and now, or we can take you to court, where you'll lose, and I'm not just talking about the case or your reputation, but you'll lose credibility among the people, your popularity will drop, and you'll suddenly be a bottom feeder with all the other washed up heroes who couldn't cut it in their carriers."

"The choice is yours." Athena said.

Endeavor just glared at the duo, his flamed burning bright with rage, before he sighed, and sat back down at his desk, and removed something from one of the drawers.

"The only copy of the contract." Endeavor said, before it went up in flames. "The agreement is null and void."

"We don't trust that was the only copy of the contract. So we'll be hanging onto the recording, for safe keeping, until we're positive all copies of the contract signed between you and All Might, have been destroyed. An' my team will find out if there are more or not." Qrow said.

"Do as you wish." Endeavor said.

"Thanks for your time." Athena smiled before the left.

As the duo departed the building, Athena couldn't be happier as she didn't have to worry about the Quirk Marriage taking over her life after graduation.

"That was so amazing." She smiled.

"Let's get something to eat, on me." Qrow said. "I feel like celebrating a bit."

"Thank you so much for helping me to get this settled. I didn't think it'd be that easy to get a confession out of him." Athena said.

"Normally it wouldn't have been. But thanks to my Quirk, Bad Luck Charm, I had turned his desk into a magnet for bad luck, and he let his guard down enough to confess." Qrow smiled.

"Was that legal for you to do?" Athena asked.

"Lawyers have a special license similar to a hero's license, to use their Quirks so long as they can help with a case. What I did, was 100% within the law." Qrow said.

"That's so cool." Athena smirked. "Would you mind if I copied your Quirk? It might come in handy at some point."

"Go ahead." Qrow chuckled. "Now, you up for some ramen?"

~Ashido Household~

"Mom, we're back." Mina called out.

"Welcome home dear. How was your day in Tokyo?" Tsuki questioned.

"It was fine." Mina smiled.

"I'm gonna put Eri to bed." Kaen said, coming into the house with a sleeping Eri in his arms.

"Don't take too long, I got some sweets for us to snack on." Tsuki smiled. "So, tell me about your day."

"Well, it was kinda strange." Mina said. "After lunch we were gonna have some more fun, but then we ended up meeting this weird man named Mecheal."

Tsuki seemed to freeze at hearing that name, before she turned to look at Mina, who noticed the concerned expression on her face.

"Was his name… Mecheal Tetsuo?"

"Yeah, I believe that's who he was." Mina said. "Why, do you know him?"

"You could say that dear." Tsuki said, going to the bookshelf, and pulling out one of the books. From within the pages, Tsuki pulled out a photo, and held it out to Mina, who seemed surprised at the contents of the photo. "Mecheal is your grandfather, from your father's side of the family." She said as Mina just stared at the photo of Mecheal, holding a wrapped and bundled up baby Mina in his arms, a warm and gentle smile on his face. "An' he died thirteen years ago, in a horrible accident."

~Mecheal~

"Mmm… I wonder if this was a wise decision, to hide the truth of the test results from Kaen." Mecheal questioned, sitting at his desk, his lamp illuminating the papers of the results, showing a biological match within the two sets of DNA. "Oh well, what's done has been done. I can't change the past, but I can change the future."

"I'd say you're not looking at much of a future old man. Though I must say, you do look good for a man in his sixties."

Mecheal didn't even show a reaction, as he looked up and saw someone else from Mina's memories, someone he'd held some anger towards for kidnapping his granddaughter at the USJ.

"What can I do for you Akuma? An' how did you find this place?" Mecheal questioned.

"I've spent all day looking for you, and when I felt my pest of a little brother's Ki appear out of nowhere, I grew intrigued. I spent a good hour investigating the location he'd appeared in, but couldn't find anything. That is until I began searching for you again, and the wall I was leaning against, suddenly allowed me to pass through." Celeron snickered.

"Hmm… An oversight in my security measures I'll have to correct. I'll have to change it so that only those seeking me out with no intention of ill will, can find me." Mecheal said, getting up from his desk. "So what can I do for you?"

"My master wishes to have a word with you. He believes you could be a great asset to the League of Villains." Celeron stated.

"All-for-One, is who I assume you speak of?" Mecheal inquired, taking off his glasses and cleaning the lenses with a cloth. "Sorry, but I'll have to pass. I'm not interested in delusions of grandeur, or partner up with the villain, who tried to put my granddaughter, in his breeder harem."

"If you know who my master is, then you know turning him down, is a very bad move on your part. He will find you, and he will… Wait, granddaughter? You're not talking about that pink skinned bitch my failure of a brother is…"

"I'm going to stop you right there." Mecheal said, his hands and eyes glowing violet as he silenced Celeron, and lifted him off the ground with his powers. "As you've no doubt surmised, this place I call him, is not just my home. It is a place of safety, and of power for the Guardian of Earth."

"The Guardian of Earth?" Celeron choked out, feeling an invisible pressure on his throat, making it hard for him to breathe.

"Correct. An' do you know, what the Guardian of Earth's official title is?" Mecheal questioned, his glowing eyes glaring menacingly at Celeron.

Celeron gasped, as his instincts were telling him he should be terrified of the man in front of him. His eyes landed on the silhouette behind Mecheal as the misty form of a purple furred lion, appeared behind him, both their eyes glaring death at Celeron, before he spoke a single word.

"K-Kami."

~A/N~

For those who forgot, I'm skipping the Final Exams and heading right for the Love Story Ova, before heading for the first movie of the series.

Also, imagine Mecheal with Liam Neeson' voice.

One more thing, I know some of you don't like that I'm using Endeavor like this, even with his character development, but I'm taking advantage of his pre-development self as much as I can, before that happens.
