UA's Saiyan Heroes

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA… Holy crap, what the hell Bakugo?" Kirishima and Sero were laughing as Katsumi stood in front of them with her hair combed down in a more lady like fashion.

"Stop laughing, my hair's gotten used to this, and I can't get it back the right way." Katsumi exclaimed, shaking in anger. "It's bad enough my mom ended up laughing but now I gotta deal with this shit at school to? Did you not hear me, I'll kill you both."

"I'd like to see you try Miss Bakugo." Sero said, as he and Kirishima were both still laughing their asses off.

"What did you call me?" Katsumi shouted, her voice raised a couple octaves, while her hair went back to its normal spiked looks.

"There it goes." They both said, while still laughing.

"Awesome, you got to face actual villains?" Mina questioned Jiro. "The only thing interesting that happened to me, was my dad kidnapping me out of his lunatic rants. I'm super jealous."

"Well I didn't fight. All I did was help people evacuate, and provide logistical support." Jiro said, twirling her right earlobe/phone jack. "Besides, I'm kinda worried about you. Your dad didn't do anything creepy did he?"

"The most he did was knock me out, after putting one of Athena's Quirk Canceling collars on me." Mina stated. "But don't change the subject, you still got to finish your internship."

"I spent basically the whole time training and cleaning the ship deck." Tsu said, her arm wrapped in bandages, and a bandage patch on her forehead. "Though there was this one day we caught a bunch of drug smugglers. I kinda got banged up in the action, but nothing too serious."

"Okay, that's cool." Both Mina and Jiro said in unison.

"What about you Ochako? How was your week?" Tsu asked, turning to the Zero Gravity girl, as she was practicing some moves she learned from the Gunhead Martial Arts Dojo.

"I'd say that it was very enlightening." Uraraka said.

"I think she found her fighting spirit." Tsu said.

"Yeah that battle hero must have been something else." Jiro stated.

"Gunhead Martial Arts tends to have that effect on people." Kaen said, joining in on the group.

"After one week she's like a totally different person." Kaminari said.

"Everyone at my internship loved me, it was actually kinda great. Now if you wanna talk about the one who really changed, it was Kaen." Kaminari said, directing their attention over to the Saiyan who popped his head up from taking a nap.

"Oh yeah, the Hero Killer and his apprentice." Sero said, as both he and Kirishima were held tight in Katsumi's grip by the backs of their blazers.

"Glad you and Iida made it back alive. Seriously." Kirishima added.

"I worried about you to." Momo stated.

"What was it like, fighting against the Hero Killers?" Sato questioned. "Was it tough, did you get in trouble for using your Quirk?"

"Alright everyone stop, that's enough." Mina said. "Leave Kaen alone about the fight. If you hadn't noticed, an iconic piece of him is missing because of that fight."

"Oh yeah… his tail is gone." Kaminari said. "Sorry man, it slipped our minds."

"It's useless to worry about it." Katsumi said dropping both Sero and Kirishima. "If the past is any indication, it'll probably just grow back like it normally did."

"It might not, since I'm in my teens." Kaen said.

"Wait, your tail can grow back?" Sero asked.

"Not sure if it will now, but there might be a possibility I can still." Kaen yawned.

"Babe, why are you so tired?" Mina asked.

"I didn't get a lot of sleep last night." Kaen stated. "It's like my body just refused to sleep."

"Let's change the subject. Did you hear the news about the Hero Killer? Everyone's been saying he's somehow connected to the League of Villains." Ojiro stated.

"I highly doubt it." Kaen said. "The League of Villains only want to tear it apart and rebuild it in their own image. It doesn't align with Stain of Seryuu's twisted ambitions."

"Seryuu?" Jiro asked. "Wasn't she the support course student, who got expelled for hiding her true identity from the school, and attempting to kill your sister?"

"She was. Somehow she escaped police custody, and was taken in as an apprentice by Stain." Kaen stated.

"It's my fault Yagi got involved. I was so blinded by rage with what Stain did to my brother, I didn't stop to think, that maybe I wasn't doing him proud."

"How's your arm doing?" Kaen inquired.

"Still feeling a bit of numbness in my left hand every now and then." Iida said. "But same as always."

"You sure you don't want a Senzu Bean to repair it?" Kaen inquired.

"No, until I can truly call myself a hero, I won't get my arm fixed." Iida said. "So let's do our best, and work hard to become the heroes we're meant to be."

~Training Field Gamma: Hero Training Class~

"I am here." All Might said standing in front of the students. "Hope you're ready to return to our lessons. Today it's hero basic training. Feels like I haven't seen you in a while. Welcome back." All Might smiled, looking proudly at his students. "Now then, listen carefully for what's in store. We're gonna be conducting a little race, take everything you've learned from your internships, and apply it to this rescue training."

"If it's rescue training, then shouldn't we be at the USJ instead?" Iida questioned, raising his hand for a question.

"Ah, that facility specializes in disasters. As I said earlier, this is a race." All Might clarified. "So, prepare. You're about to step into Field Gamma. Inside is an area filled with factories that form an intricate labyrinth. So good luck finding your way around. You'll be competing in four groups of five. Each person starts from a different location on the outskirts of the model city, I'll send a distress signal, and you do what you must to rescue me. Whoever, finds me first wins. But try to keep the property damage to a bare minimum please." All Might said, pointing and looking at Katsumi.

"Why are you pointing at me?" Katsumi questioned.

"Because you're the one who always destroys a building or something during these training exercises." Kaen stated. "My Quirk is more destructive than yours, and I know how to rein it in better."

"SHUT UP." Katsuki shouted, getting in his face.

"Alright, the first five person group, get to your places." All Might exclaimed. The first group consisted of Sero, Ojiro, Ashido, Iida, and Izumi.

Standing on her pedestal, Izumi began stretching her legs, as she prepared to participate in the race.

'I didn't really get a lot of opportunities to learn that many new moves interning with Gran Torino, since I spent most of my time practicing my control over One-for-All. But let's see if I can't put to good use, what Nana and Torino had taught me.' Izumi thought. 'So far whenever I've used this power, the class has only ever seen me break my bones with it, but not this time. They thought I had control in the Sports Festival because I came back with uninjured fingers, but only Kaen and Ashido know that I had a Senzu Bean after that match.'

"Is everyone ready?" All Might questioned. "Begin." He called out as he pressed down on the signal.

Instantly Sero took to the skies, swinging around with his tape, reminding Kaen of how another hero from the Pre-Quirk Era, got around. Mina was using her acid secreted from her feet through her boots to slide forward like she was sliding on ice. As much as she loved her ability to fly, this was way more fun for her. Ojiro was using his tail to throw himself forward every so often as he ran, and Iida was using the engines in his legs to get moving, as fast as he could without using Recipro Burst.

Meanwhile back in the observation area, most of the other students were looking dumbfounded and impressed, missing as one student in particular seemed to take the lead by storm, and was pushing on ahead to the front of the pack.

"Look at them go. In a maze like this it makes sense to be above everything else." Kirishima stated.

"So that means Sero's at an advantage cause he can take to the sky." Shoji stated.

Back in the course, Sero was having fun crying out as he swung around with his tape.

"It's like this course was built for me in mind." Sero said, before a green and black blur came zipping past him, taking Cellophane by surprise, as Izumi came flying through the air, her power flowing through her at 6%.

"Sorry Sero." Izumi smiled, turning around and placing one foot on a pipe before jumping, performing a backflip through the air. "But I'm not gonna lose that easily." She chuckled, seeing the dumbfounded look on the tape user's face.

The acrobatics that Izumi was demonstrating with her power took everyone in the observation area by surprise, even Kaen, as she jumped and flipped from one surface to another, with the occasional push off of her hands when landing on them in the handstand position. Her Parkour skills were off the charts. No one could believe that it was actually her making her way through the course.

"Whoa, Midoriya?" Everyone, minus Kaen, called out.

"Since when can she do that?" Kaminari questioned.

"What, no way." Sero said just as shocked.

'The way she's propelling herself through the air…' Todoroki thought, recognizing her movements.

"Crazy, those jumps, the acrobatics and parkour she's demonstrating, she looks like a female Kaen." Uraraka stated.

"It's not surprising if I think about it. She did intern with my gramps, and he basically taught me the same parkour skills for when I can't fly." Kaen said.

"He must have been giving her extra hared lessons on mobility and moving through areas like Training Field Gamma, if she's already at this skill level. An' she's using her power without breaking any bones to." Jiro said.

Jumping through the air, Izumi passed by several others.

"Midoriya?" Mina questioned as she passed her. "Are you kidding me?"

"Shouldn't she be breaking a bunch of bones?" Ojiro questioned, hanging from a pipe by his tail.

'Focus. I can do this. Don't go above six percent.' Izumi thought.

At the end of the race, Izumi was standing on the platform where All Might stood, wearing a sash that said, thanks for saving me.

"An' it's over." All Might declared. "Thanks Hero and congratulations."

"I did it." Izumi cheered, while Mina was stomping her feet in frustration, Ojiro was wiping the sweat off his brow, Sero was just looking at the ground in disbelief with his head against a pipe, and Iida was just taking his loss like a champ.

"Young Midoriya might have come in first, but compared to the start of the year, you all showed me some incredible improvements." All Might said. "Keep working and preparing for your upcoming final exams."

"Sir." The gathered students said.

'Finals. I barely made it into the top ten during midterms. I could have done better than eighth place.' Mina groaned. 'Still, I should have counted myself lucky that I even got in the top ten, thanks to Kaen's tutoring.'

"Group one leave the field, you're up group two." All Might declared before walking up to Izumi. "You surprised me. That was incredible. You've mastered your use of One-for-All in such a short amount of time. I'm impressed." All Might exclaimed before turning around, to face the incoming group, but still gave Izumi a thumbs up. "Good work. Keep working hard, and improving on your skills. I'm proud of you. Bring Kaen and meet me after class, there's something I need to discuss with the two of you, about One-for-All."

~After Class~

"I don't see why I gotta come to a meeting that requires you and my dad." Kaen said.

"You're still not speaking with him?" Izumi questioned.

"After the Quirk Marriage contract he signed with Endeavor to hitch Athena and Todoroki, he's given me even more reason not to talk with him." Kaen stated.

"I understand you can be angry at him for that, but Athena and Ruby's uncle got that settled, and undone. All Might asked me to bring you to the teacher's lounge after class, so I'm doing just that. I think it has to do with One-for-All." Izumi said as they reached the teacher's lounge and knocked on the door. "It's us All Might."

Izumi opened the door, and was shocked to find Toshinori, just sitting on the couch.

"Come have a seat, both of you." Toshinori said. "You both went through a lot recently. I'm sorry I wasn't around to help either of you out during the situation with Stain."

"No, you don't need to apologize for that. I came out of it practically unharmed, and Kaen was able to patch things up with Pinach after that situation." Izumi stated.

"So you've made up with Pinach?" Toshinori asked, looking at Kaen.

The Saiyan teen didn't answer, he just looked at Toshinori, before getting up from his seat, and going to the back wall, and leaning against it to be further away from him.

"I have been on a role with getting on that kids bad side lately." Toshinori said.

"Um, not to be rude or anything All Might, but you mentioned One-for-All, earlier." Izumi said.

"I heard Stain ingested some of Kaen's blood." Toshinori said.

"Oh yeah. According to Kaen, his Quirk made him able to paralyze someone after tasting their blood." Izumi said. "Is that what this is about?"

"Do you remember how I gave my power to you? What I said that day?"

"Eat this." Izumi said, doing an impersonation of All Might's face and voice.

"Pffft." Kaen had to force himself to not laugh at the hilarious sight when she turned to look at him with her face still that way.

"No, not that part. I said my key was in my DNA, that's why you had to swallow the hair. An' if Kaen's One-for-All is anything like mine then…"

"Whoa, holy crap. Don't tell me the Hero Killer has Kaen's One-for-All now." Izumi panicked.

"Calm down Izumi." Kaen said. "One-for-All, can't be stolen. It has to be willingly given to an intended target."

"That's a relief." Izumi sighed, relaxing in her seat.

"However, the same can't be said for the other way around." All Might stated, regaining Izumi's attention. "One-for-All, both of them, can be forced onto an unwilling host."

"Which means, if he wanted to keep One-for-All as secret, even from you, he could have just fed you a piece of food with a piece of his DNA in it, and you'd have been given the Quirk, without even knowing what was going on." Kaen stated.

"The Quirk you both have is now unique. An' you should know the origin, of the original One-for-All." Toshinori said. "One-for-All was derived from another odd Quirk, a power that's very old."

"It used to be something different?"

"Indeed. You listen closely Kaen, this relates to your One-for-All as well." Toshinori stated. "The name of that Quirk is, All-for-One."

Kaen's head shot up, when he heard that name, and he looked at Toshinori in disbelief as he stood straight up on his feet.

"That Quirk allowed its user to take Quirks from others. An' the user could keep the Quirks for himself, or give them to someone else." Toshinori stated.

"Just like the Quirk Celeron has." Izumi said.

"This was back when Quirks were just starting to show up. Before society had figured how to deal with the newly powered among them." Toshinori said. "When Quirks first appeared, suddenly it was impossible to tell what it meant to be a normal person. Laws and human rights were hotly debated. Civilizations progress stalled. Society decayed."

"If super powers had never appeared, then humans would be taking interstellar holidays at this point. I remember hearing that from someone famous." Izumi said.

"Right. During that chaotic period of change, there was one person who managed to rally many people together." Toshinori said. "He went by the name of his power, All-for-One. He stole Quirks from others, and then, with this overwhelming abilities, he spread his influence across the country. He manipulated people to serve his purposes, and committed evil acts with little resistance. In the blink of an eye, he became the leader of villains, and ruled over Japan with an iron will and an indomitable evil spirit."

"I've seen plenty of rumors about this online sure, but isn't that all just made up? It's not mentioned in any of our textbooks."

"I guess it's the kind of shameful history people would rather ignore." Toshinori said. "Anyway, when a person gains true power, they enjoy showing it off to others."

"How does this all tie together though?" Izumi inquired. "An' what about One-for-All?"

"I said that All-for-One, could give Quirks to others, remember? He made people trust him, or submit to his will, by altering their abilities. But unfortunately, there were many poor souls who could bear the burden of the Quirks they were given. They became like mindless living dolls, incapable of speaking, just like the Nomu's are. At the same time, some Quirks actually evolved as they were passed on. Some even combined with other powers since. This evil man had a Quirkless younger brother. He was small and sickly, but he had a strong sense of justice, they couldn't have been more different. It pained the brother to see All-for-One's deeds, so he kept resisting him. Then, All-for-One transferred a Quirk to his sibling. A Quirk capable of stockpiling tremendous power. We don't know if it was a gift to his younger brother, or if he was forcing him to submit."

"Don't tell me…" Izumi realized.

"Yes, even though everyone thought he was Quirkless, turns out the brother did have a Quirk. Though even he hadn't realized this, to be the case. He had a useless power, that only allowed him to pass on Quirks. An' so the stockpiling ability, merged with the younger brothers power. An' that, is how One-for-All, came to be."

"So then… the One-for-All I possess…"

"Is made of the same Quirks, taken from the Quirk Genes taken from the Quirk Genes, in what your mother and I, assume were blood samples of the younger brother, and the original wielder of the stockpiling Quirk. I don't know if All-for-One had planned on Celeron disposing of those two Quirks like he had, but in doing so, history has without a doubt, repeated itself with you and Celeron, being at the epicenter of the event." Toshinori said.

"Dr. Ujiko, did figure out a way to make an exact copy of someone's Quirk, through technology and mechanics, before the Xerox Quirk was ever formed in the child born between All-for-One, and Nana Shimura." Kaen stated.

"I've always found it ironic, how justice so often spawns from evil." Toshinori said.

"Wait hold on. I understand how One-for-All came about now, but this bad guy must be long dead by this point, so why are you bringing him up. I mean it could be just as Kaen said, and this Dr. Ujiko gave Celeron a copy of the All-for-One Quirk from his technological means." Izumi questioned.

"One who steals Quirks has no limits. Anything's possible. There are Quirks that halt aging. He probably had something like that." Toshinori said. "The Symbol of Evil seemed pretty much immortal, in the state of the world at the time, made a huge difference in their combat abilities. The younger brother, at the time decided to entrust this new Quirk to future generations. Even though he couldn't defeat All-for-One, he hoped that One-for-All, would continue to grow in power, until it was strong enough to stop his older brother. Eventually it was my turn, and I managed to defeat All-for-One, almost six years ago when Celeron had first turned on our family, and joined the side of villainy. At least that's what I thought. But he survived, and is now back in action, as the brain behind the League of Villains."

"It's the only thing, that makes sense as to how the Nomu's have multiple Quirks, and many of them have multiples of the same." Kaen said.

"So now you know. You both do." Toshinori said. "The entire purpose of One-for-All, is to defeat All-for-One. As its holder, you may one day have to fight against this great evil yourself, because I failed."

"For me and Celeron, I don't have a choice but to fight him." Kaen said. "If the history of All-for-One and One-for-All is repeating itself with me and Celeron playing the roles of the opposing forces, then it's my job, to defeat him."

"I know neither of you expected this but…"

"I'll do my best." Izumi said. "I'll do whatever you ask, no matter what it might take. As long as you're with me, I can do anything. I know you'll have my back."

"Izumi." Kaen began, getting her to turn to him. "All Might has passed his power down to you. An' because of that, he's losing his strength. He's becoming weaker the more he uses the remnants of One-for-All. Sometime within the near future, he will have to step down and retire as a hero. An' when that time comes, it'll be your time, to take up his mantle and become the #1Hero."

~U.A One week before Finals~

"Alright, that's it for class today." Aizawa said, finishing up his lecture. "There's only one week left before your final exams begin. I'm sure you're all studying constantly right?" He questioned. "Don't forget to keep training. The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about. Good Luck." He stated, walking out of the classroom, and closing the door behind him.

"I've barely even taken notes this semester." Kaminari said in a panic. He got 20st/20 place in the exams. "An' with the Sports Festival and Internship I didn't have time to read the textbook."

"It's true we didn't get a lot of free time lately." Tokoyami said, as he was equally nervous, but just hid it, as he got 19th/20.

"We barely learned anything when we took our Midterms, they didn't seem all that hard, but I'm kinda worried about these." Sato said, as he had gotten 12th/20 in the midterms. Koda who got 11th/20 in Midterm ranking nodded in agreement. "We've been through a lot, an' they probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us."

"I'll admit, it is gonna be hard, for those of us who do better in combat then in actual studying." Yang said as she was placed 15th/20.

"Kaminari, we've still got time to study, maybe you could study with our study group, that way if we all get decent grades we'll all get to go to the upcoming training camp together." Mina said.

"Says the woman who ranked 8th/20 in the Midterms." Kaminari grumbled.

"As class rep, I'm sure Yagi has high hopes that we'll make U.A Proud." Iida said raising his hand like he normally does. He got ranked 6th/20 in Midterms.

"It's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class isn't it?" Todoroki questioned, even though he got ranked 4th/20.

"Why you gotta cut me down like that?" Kaminari questioned, feeling mortally wounded.

"Hey don't worry about it you two, I can catch you up to speed on the important topics if you want." Momo said. She got ranked 2nd/20 in Midterms.

"You're the best Yaomomo." Kaminari said.

"I'm afraid I won't be any help when it comes to the practical though." Momo stated.

"Hey cheer up. I'm sure you'll do great in the practical." Kaen said, though he had no room to talk as he got ranked 1st/20.

"I've been studying Momo, but, could you help me out to?" Jiro questioned. "I'm having some trouble understanding quadratic functions." She got ranked 7th/20 in the Midterms.

"Really?" Momo questioned.

"Tutor me please. Classical Japanese is killing me." Sero said, clasping his hands together. He got ranked 17th/20 in Midterms.

"Is there room for one more?" Ojiro questioned. "I'm afraid I'm falling behind a little." He got ranked 16th in the Midterms.

"Pretty please?" They all asked together.

"This is wonderful." Momo said, shocked and overjoyed. "Yes, let's do it."

"Alright." They all agreed.

"Okay then, we can hold a study session at my residence over the weekend." Momo said.

"Seriously? I can't wait to see your fancy digs." Kaminari smirked.

As Momo began rambling on about what they should prepare, Kaen was getting ready to head out for lunch.

"What about you big guy, you all good on studying?" Yang asked as she joined him.

"Yeah, I'm doing pretty good in the studying department. When I was in the hospital I didn't have much to do."

"Just be glad you're not studying with Katsumi. Kirishima learned the hard way by getting 14th/20 that he's a terrible study partner." Yang stated. "An' Katsumi got ranked 5th/20, with Izumi placing 3rd/20."

"Didn't Shoji get ranked in 10th/20 or something like that?" Kaen questioned.

"I'm kinda scarred about the practical. I have no idea what it's gonna be." Kaen said, as they began to eat.

"Hard to believe they'd give us anything too crazy." Iida said.

"The written exam questions will all be stuff from class, so I'm not too worried about the written portion of finals." Izumi said.

"Do you really think it's going to be that simple?" Uraraka questioned. She got ranked 13th/20 in the Midterms.

"It's driving me nuts, I just wanna know what they'll have us be doing." Kaen sighed.

"It's a comprehensive test of everything we've learned this year." Toru said. She got ranked 18th/20 in Midterms.

"Yep an' that's about all we can get Mr. Aizawa to tell us." Tsu said, munching on some bread. She ranked 9th/20 in the Midterms.

"Okay, so then it will cover combat training and rescue training, oh an' basic training." Uraraka said thinking it over.

"We can't just study we have to stay physically fit to." Kaen said, moving to the side to avoid an elbow that was aimed for the back of his head. "First day back at school, and you're already picking fights, huh Monoma. How's General Studies treating you?"

"Well, it is a hero's job to fight villains." Monoma tsked.

"I agree, which is why I kicked your ass in the exhibition match of the Sports Festival." Kaen stated. "Now last I checked, you're no longer a hero in training, so you don't have the right to claim yourself a student of the Hero Course."

"Oh please, the villain is trying so desperately to blend in with the heroes in training of U.A. It makes me sick to think U.A's faculty fell for your little ruse." Monoma glared.

"Keep talking pal, you're just adding fuel to the fire." Kaen stated.

"You know, if it weren't for this damned Quirk Canceling collar, I'd show you how a true hero acts." Monoma glared.

"Are you pen pals with a man named Fujio Tetsuo? Because you're starting to sound as crazy as him." Kaen stated, before he slammed a backhand fist into Monoma's stomach, sending him flying back and hitting a wall, and falling unconscious.

"Oh man, sorry about him. I knew I should have kept an eye on him." The orange haired Kendo said.

"Wait, you're Class B's rep, why would you need to watch over him?" Uraraka inquired.

"I was the only one who could keep Monoma in line when he was in our class. So the teachers put me in charge of him and keeping that idiot in check during lunch and free periods. It's a pain, but what are you gonna do? But, I couldn't help overhearing you talking about the practical portion of the exams. I might have some news that might interest you a bit with them."

"Oh really?"

"According to an upperclassman friend of mine, Hero Course first years will be fighting the robots just like in the entrance exams." Kendo said.

"Huh, well that's good to know." Kaen said. "At least Kaminari will feel better about the practical exam as well. Though not a lot will be pleased, we're gonna be"

"Well, I'll let you get back to enjoying your lunch." Kendo stated before leaving to grab Monoma.

~Day of the practical exam~

"Man am I finally glad to be done with the written exams. Three days of doing written exams is absolute torture." Kaen groaned, as all of Class 1-A marched to the Center Plaza of the Practical Exam area, everyone dressed in their hero costumes. "My brain felt like it was gonna melt from overheating."

"Those are high school exams for you." Yang said.

As they reached the front doors to the center plaza, they were surprised to find all the teachers, minus All Might, standing there to greet them.

"Now then, let's begin the last test of the finals." Aizawa stated. "Remember it's possible to fail this final. If you wanna go to camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes."

"Uh, why are all the teachers here?" Jiro questioned.

"I expect some of you gathered information and have some idea on what you'll be faced with today." Aizawa exclaimed.

"We're fighting those big old metal robots." Kaminari cheered.

"Fireworks, smores, here we come camp." Mina cheered pumping one of her fists.

"Actually, this year's tests, will be completely different for various reasons." Principal Nezu said popping out of Aizawa's capture scarf.

"Principal Nezu." The class said in unison shock.

"You're changing things?" Momo questioned.

"The tests now have a new focus. There will be hero work of course, but also teamwork and combat between actual people." Nezu said, scaling down Aizawa's arm with his scarf. "So what does that mean for you? You students will be working together in pairs, and your opponents will be one of our esteemed U.A teachers, isn't that fabulous?"

"We're fighting the teachers?" Uraraka questioned, all of the class's eyes wide with shock.

Even Kaen hadn't seen this twist coming.

"Additionally, your partners and your opponents have already been chosen." Aizawa stated. "They were determined at my discretion, based on various factors including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships. First, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki are a team, against me." Aizawa said with a smirk. "Then we have Midoriya paired with Bakugo." Aizawa added. "An' their opponent is…"

On cue, All Might came down and landed on the pavement in front of his opponents, a broad smile on his face.

"I am here. To fight." All Might declared.

"We're up against All Might?" Katsumi and Izumi questioned in unison.

"You're gonna have to work together kids. If you want to win." All Might smirked.

Katsumi and Izumi just looked at each other nervously. But Izumi was more nervous about her partner's willingness to work together, instead of just running off, and doing her own thing.

"Now, the pair ups and battles go as follows." Aizawa stated. "First match is Cementous versus Kirishima and Sato. Second match is Ectoplasm versus Asui and Tokoyami. Third match is Power Loader versus Iida and Ojiro. Fourth match is myself, Eraserhead, me, versus Yaoyorozu and Todoroki. Fifth match is Thirteen versus Xiao Long and Uraraka. Sixth match is Principle Nezu versus Ashido and Kaminari. Seventh match is Present Mic versus Koda and Jiro. Eight match is Snipe versus Hagakure and Shoji. Ninth match is Midnight versus Sero and Yagi. Tenth match is All Might versus Midoriya and Bakugo."

"To complete the exam, you'll have thirty minutes. In order to win, your objective is to put these handcuffs on your teacher. Or you can win if one of you manages to escape from the combat stage." Nezu explained.

"So we've either got to capture the teacher, or run away." Kaminari said. "It's basically like the combat training."

"Yeah but is it really okay to just jet?" Ashido asked.

"Well think about it." Izumi began. "Every day, there are pros who have to make a strategic retreat because they either come across a villain way stronger than them, or they hold a strategic advantage over them, like hostages or a weapon on a dead man's trigger."

"Precisely." Nezu said.

"It's gonna be much different than that combat training you all went through earlier." Present Mic stated. "After all, you're up against people way better than you."

"Better, really? Wait aren't you just the announcer?" Jiro questioned.

"Hey, watch your mouth girl, have some respect." Present Mic exclaimed.

"This time your exam will be very similar to a real battle." Thirteen stated. "As strange as it is, please think of us as villains."

"Assuming you come across your enemy, if you think you can win against them, then fight." Snipe exclaimed. "However…"

"In instances where you're outmatched, it would be smarter to run away and find help." Aizawa finished. "Iida, Yagi, I'm sure the two of you understand."

"I won't make that mistake again." Iida said. "I will pass this test, and prove that I'm a hero."

"So we fight to win, or run to win." Mina thought aloud.

"That's right. It's a test of your decision making skills." All Might exclaimed. "But with these rules, you're probably thinking that your only real choice is to flee. That's why the support course, made these super cool accessories for us." All Might said, pulling what looked like a weighted bracelet out of his pocket.

"Behold, ultra-compressed weights." Present Mic exclaimed.

"These babies will add about half our body weight to our physiques. It's not much, but they will eat up our stamina, and make it harder for us to move around." All Might said, having to put two on each limb. "Oh, shoot these are heavier than I thought."

"We had a contest to come up with these designs, and young Hatsume ended up winning it." All Might said.

"Wow, good for her." Kaen whistled, sounding impressed.

"You think we need a handicap to win against you?" Katsumi questioned. "Well think again."

"Bah-ha-ha-ha-ha." All Might laughed. "This'll be fun."

"Katsumi, listen to me." Kaen said, gaining her attention. "Trust the words of one who practically grew up around All Might. He doesn't just have power, he's the physical incarnation of the word. He could flatten a whole city with just one punch if he wanted to."

"He's not exaggerating." All Might stated. "You're gonna need all the handicaps you can get."

"Let's begin, the teams will take the practical exam in the order you were called." Aizawa stated. "We have a stage prepared for each of you. Sato, Kirishima, you're up first."

"Yessir." The two muscle heads said in unison.

"Those waiting for their turn to fight can either watch the exams, or try to strategize together as a team. It's your choice." Aizawa stated. "That's all."

"I feel like these fights are going to be very interesting." All Might chuckled, marching into the building with the other teachers.

~After the Exams~

"My life is so over." Mina said, leaning back into the couch, her body looking like someone's crude sketch.

"If you had tried using your brain like you were supposed to in that match against Principal Nezu, you wouldn't have failed the practical exam." Tsuki said. "How many others failed besides you?"

"Kirishima, Sato, Sero, and Kaminari." Mina grumped.

"Mama's not very good at using her brain." Eri snickered.

"Hey, that's a mean thing to say about me Eri." Mina said.

"Sorry Mama." Eri said.

"Well, at least the camp won't be a total bust. At least Kaen will be there." Mina said.

"But you're gonna have to carry your own weight through the training." Tsuki said. "Kaen will have his own training to go through. But I suspect he'll be in recovery for the first couple days."

"Why would Papa be recovering?" Eri inquired.

"I'm curious about that to mom."

"The Grand Raitai Tournament takes place a couple days before the training camp." Tsuki said. "An' he won't be allowed to bring any Senzu Beans for recovering. Besides, there's someone there, that a lot of people would consider my equal. It's even said, he was the first person with a Quirk, instead of the glowing baby who grew up to be Destro."

"Mom, who are you talking about?" Mina inquired.

"His name is Yujiro Hanma. He's been alive, practically since the dawn of time." Tsuki said.

"Who his this guy, Vandal Savage?" Mina asked.

"Almost. But unlike that comic book villain, his power didn't come from a meteor. Yujiro does indeed have a Quirk." Tsuki said. "It's called, Apex Survivor. He's survived being frozen in a wall of crystallized salt for millions of years, since the Cretaceous Period. He's even somehow honed his Quirk to where he's become untouchable to age, and remains forever young. He might have even been the first actual human to walk the surface of the earth. An' his genetics might have been the source of where Quirks first came from. But he wasn't the only creature in the wall he was dug out of."

"What do you mean?"

"You know the tyrannosaurus skeleton, currently in the natural history museum?" Tsuki asked. "If you were to look close enough at its left cheek, you'd see cracks, almost as if someone punched the dinosaur in the face, and broke its jaw, when it was still alive."

"So… You and Kaen might be up against the Father of all Quirks? An actual caveman?"

"We just might. I faced off with him in the last Supreme Raitai Tournament, and defeated him with my abilities, that's how I earned the name of Kaioh Emperor Tsuki. But he tends to keep in contact with his greatest opponents, and let's them know of when he's ready to fight them. An' he sent me this post card, from America, saying he'd be participating in this tournament." Tsuki stated.

"But you beat him before, you can do it again." Mina stated.

"I beat Yujiro a week after I had been brought back to life by my Quirk, because I died in an accident. My body was young, strong, and fresh. But my current body, is older, frailer, and not as swift or agile as it once was. So there's a good chance, Kaen might beat me, but end up fighting Yujiro. An' even though he's older then me, his body doesn't show that age, it's as if he's remained in his prime for all these years. The only way I'd be able to fight again like I did in the last tournament, is if I used my Quirk, but to do that, I'd have to die first. An' I don't wanna put that kind of trauma on you, or little Eri."

"Where's Kaen, he has to know about Hanma." Mina said.

"He's out in the back, doing his daily connection with Pinach, and Oozaru." Tsuki stated, directing Mina's attention to the sliding glass door, where Kaen was out on the porch meditating. "We'll warn him, after he's finished."

~Kaen's Mindscape~

"It feels rather nice to be back here." Kaen smiled, walking through the mountain pass field, before noticing a new addition to the scenery. "What's Sengakuji Temple doing here?"

"We needed some more living space, with our new guests living within your mindscape." Oozaru said, taking Kaen by surprise.

"Ah, Oozaru don't do that." Kaen gasped. "Anyways, what are you talking about, what sort of guests are you referring to?"

"Do you remember the night you took down Stain and first tried out Athena's Primal Rage candy?"

"Of course, that was the night I took down the Hero Killer." Kaen said.

"Well, that night, you were wearing your Xerox Band, and at least a couple of the original One-for-All's past users, might have shared some of their powers, and souls with you." Oozaru said, as the silhouette of a man came up behind Oozaru. "Here's one I'm sure you will get along with. Pinach seems to have taken a liking to him already. The other two however, seem to have locked themselves away in their rooms of the temple."

The newcomer was a large muscular man of a wide build, a square jaw, small dull blue eyes, lacking eyebrows, with a bald head and had a very short beard. His clothes, which Kaen assumed was his hero or vigilante costume, consisted of dark leather clothes, golden stylish goggles, and a bandolier. The leather jacket had yellow shoulder pads, and it was clear from the wide open front, he didn't wear a shirt, as it showed his muscular torso.

"So you're the punk Yoichi convinced the three of us to join forces with." The third man said with a smirk. "The name's Banjo. I'm the fifth user of the original One-for-All. I'm gonna be guiding you along the way to becoming one hell of a hero, before two of my predecessors get their hands on you."

~A/N~

This puts the Quirk and strength count of Kaen's One-for-All, up to six.
