UA's Saiyan Heroes

Mecheal sighed as he sat at his desk. The unwelcomed arrival of Cooler's men hadn't escaped his notice, however given how strong they were, not even he could stand against them. It also didn't help that the portable television he had, was broadcasting the events going down on I-Island right in front of him.

"Not even gonna try and intervene?" Arcane asked, bringing him a cup of coffee.

"I don't see the point in doing so. Their power far surpasses my own." Mecheal said. "An' I'm only talking about their leader, Salza."

"Well, it won't do you any good, to just mope about and read your texts. You need to do something to help." Arcane said.

"An' what do you expect me to do? I'm not strong enough to fight them. The power from just one of them could even put All-for-One to his eternal rest." Mecheal said.

"You're the guardian of this Earth. I think it's about high time, you gave Kaen the training he needs from you." Arcane said.

"I suppose your right. Kaen would benefit from being trained by a guardian. But in order to do that, he first needs to survive, this encounter." Mecheal stated, drinking his coffee.

~I-Island~

"David, do you know what's going on outside?" All Might questioned as they were in David's lab.

"Three meteors slammed into the park of the island." David said. "A search team was sent out, but we haven't heard back from them yet. The meteors could be radioactive. If that's the case, then all visitors to the island have to be quarantined until deemed safe to leave."

"You can't be serious." Mina said.

"I am. There's no telling what might happen if the radiation breaches the city and reaches the outside world." David stated.

"They weren't meteors." Fasha said.

"What?" David asked.

"Impossible. If they weren't meteors, then what were they? There's no evidence to show they were satellites that fell from orbit." Sam said.

"That's because they weren't satellites either." Gine said, coming to David's computer. "I hate to say it, but those men you sent out as a search team, are probably already dead."

"How can you be certain?" David asked.

Without saying a word, Gine brought up the location of the crash sight, and zoomed in on it. There on the ground, were the strewn bodies of the retrieval team, none of them looking like they died of radiation poisoning. Rather it looked like they'd been steamrolled and shredded by a pack of wild and rabid animals on adrenaline and steroids.

"My God." David gasped.

"What… what happened to them?" Sam questioned.

"They were slaughtered, by very strong people." Gine said, changing the angle, and showing three pods in the crater. "Three to be exact. They came from those pods in the crater."

"Gine. Could this be him?" All Might asked.

"It might be. But he's not the only one trying to rule the galaxy." Gine said. "We could be facing Cold's men, Coolers, or Frostita."

"His father, brother, and aunt."

"To be honest, his father and aunt would be more preferable to him or his brother." Gine said.

"Who are you talking about?" David asked.

"The Galactic Tyrant, Frieza." Kaen said. "I've never seen him myself. But I've heard he's ruthless, and will destroy a planet, with all its people on it, even his own men, just because he was bored with the race that inhabited the planet."

"Wait, so you're talking about actual aliens?" Sam questioned.

"Yeah. An' in this room, are several surviving members of the Saiyan Race, that Frieza failed to kill." Athena said. "That list includes me, Kaen, Mom, and Aunt Fasha."

"Mina was originally human, but Celeron turned her into a Saiyan, as part of his scheme to repopulate the world with his descendants." Kaen stated.

"Wait, so he wasn't crazy?" Melissa questioned.

"No, he wasn't." Gine said. "Celeron was just trying to do what Saiyans had done under the thumb of Frieza and his father, Cold. Conquer planets, eradicate the dominant species, and sell it to the highest bidder. But he was only interested in the first part to rebuild our species."

"The only reason Athena and I have Quirks in the first place, is because of Celeron's team up with All-for-One six years ago." Kaen stated. "But it seems that this earth, has finally come into the sights of one of the four major powers fighting for dominance over the galaxy."

"So what are we gonna do? Just surrender and wait for our inevitable demise?" Sam questioned.

"No, whether we surrender or not, doesn't matter to Frieza or his family." Gine said. "They don't intend on letting anyone from Earth survive. They'll wipe out everyone on Earth, and sell the newly uninhabited planet to the highest bidder."

"Then why send only three?" Melissa asked.

"Because three is all they'll need for a planet like ours." All Might said. "The power they wield, it's like nothing anyone's ever seen before. In terms of physical strength, I have them outmatched, but they have abilities that more then make up the difference in the power gap."

"That's impossible." Sam said. "There's no way, that three super powered aliens, could take on thousands, billions of individuals with powers of their own."

"Perhaps that's the one advantage we have over them. They have no clue, that 80% of the population of this planet, have powers." David said. "Maybe, if every hero in the tower, were to gang up on them, then we…"

"Still wouldn't stand a chance." Fasha said. "Even if you gather every hero in the world, it might be enough, to take down just one of them. But that's a big if. But there are three of them, and just one of these soldiers has enough power in their body, to destroy this planet, several times over."

"Basically, it won't matter to them. The Frieza Force, and the Cooler Force, as well as the Cold and Frostita Forces, have faced off against worlds like this before." Gine said.

"So what are we going to do, if we can't stand a chance against these monsters?" Sam questioned.

"We stand our ground, and try to win, even if the odds are against us." Kaen stated, getting to his feet and heading to the door.

"Where are you going young man?" Gine questioned.

"I'm going to take care of this." Kaen said. "With Athena's Primal Rage, I should have at least a small advantage over these warriors. I'm not stupid enough to think I can win against them, but I should at least buy enough time for everyone to be evacuated to the airport."

"An' if you can't?" Melissa questioned.

"Then I guess this is where one Hero's story ends." Kaen stated, pausing to turn and look at their group. "Athena, do you have a Quirk that can open portals or teleport?"

"Yeah, I've got one I stole from Dr. Ujiko's Quirk Vault during your battle against Celeron six years ago. I've improved it quite a bit. So long as they're linked to me, physically and without the surrogacy interfering with my powers, it should be easy for me to teleport everyone in one trip." Athena explained. "But what are you planning on doing?"

"I'm gonna show these invaders, the best I can do, or die trying." He stated, turning back to the door to leave before he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist, and looked down to see Eri hugging him, a saddened, and angry look on her face.

"No Papa. I don't want you to go, if you're never coming back." Eri said. "You've still got lots to come back for."

Kaen just looked at Eri before he sighed, and took a knee to look her in the eye.

"I know. But these guys are stronger then Papa, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to beat them, or even hurt them. But what I can do, is give you enough time to get to escape and get to safety." Kaen said, bringing her in for a hug.

"Kaen you won't even last a second against them." Fasha said. "I'm coming with you. At least with the both of us, we stand a chance."

"I won't stop you. But if things get too dicey, leave me behind, and get to safety."

"No Kaen." All Might said. "I won't permit you to do this."

"Listen to him Kaen, there has to be another way around this, without sacrificing yourself." David said.

"This has to happen, they won't listen to reason." Kaen said, before disappearing.

~Cooler Force~

"Hey Salza, don't you think it's weird, we haven't found anyone besides that team we saw earlier?" Neiz asked.

"I find it strange as well." Dore said.

"The Scouter is picking up a few strong power levels coming from that center tower over there." Salza said, with a French accent. "We'll pick them off first, before we…"

Salza stopped as his Scouter went off, and he jumped back, evading an elbow strike from above, as Kaen came falling down with a smile on his face, and landed on the ground on all fours, before he jumped into the air, and spun around, aiming to kick Salza in the head, but he was stopped, when the alien caught his foot.

"What do we have here? A little lamb, coming for the slaughter?" Salza questioned with a smirk.

"Not quite." Kaen said, popping a Primal Rage into his mouth, and eating it, before he felt the power enhancement course through his body, and pulled his leg free of Salza's grip, and flipped back, before jumping forward, and with a spin, hit the alien with an axe kick, his smile never fading.

"That was a nice hit. Took me off guard with that power boost of yours little one." Salza chuckled. "But you're no fighter. You might make for a good masseur with that strength, you certainly got rid of the crick in my neck. But you're no where close enough to being able to stop me."

"I don't have to stop you. I just gotta stall you." Kaen said. "But if one candy wasn't enough to stop you… then how about three?" He questioned, popping two more Primal Rage candies into his mouth. 'Athena said, never to go over two, but I think this requires the power of three.'

Kaen's body pulsed with power as he felt the candy's property course through him. The dark red shadow trim circling his eyes extending and thinning to the sides of his head, as a sickening squelch echoed from his backside, as his tail grew back.

"What the hell?" Dore questioned.

"A tail just sprouted from his backside." Neiz stated.

"Not just any tail my friends. We are looking at a Saiyan. A surviving member of the race, Lord Cooler's foolish brother Frieza tried to exterminate." Salza said.

"It's good to have my tail back." Kaen said, his smile growing bigger as the top part of the shadow trim gained a serrated edge, and the front went down the length of his nose.

"Then come you filthy monkey. Show me, what you're capable of." Salza said. "Dore, Neiz, stay out of this fight. This little primate is mine to take care of."

"Fine." Dore said. "He never saves any fun for us."

'He said Cooler's name. Which means he's stronger then Frieza and his father and aunt. This is bad. My body can't withstand the full might of my One-for-All, without destroying my body. I could handle the full power of the three Quirks I had, but now with six, I can at most handle up to 25% of my full power.' Kaen thought as he coursed One-for-All through his body. "I'm only gonna say this once. Get off my planet, and never return."

"Oh, tough talk coming from a Saiyan who is barely strong enough to make it into Lord Cooler's forces." Salza said.

"You say that. Yet look at your Scouter." Kaen said.

Salza just looked at him surprised, before he looked back at his Scouter, his eyes widening in shock.

"Mon Dieu. His power level's increased." Salza said, before his attention was back on Kaen, and he had to jump back as the Saiyan brought his fist down on him, creating a crater in the ground he stood on.

"Knowing one's power level in a fight, is futile. Because one's power, can change in the middle of a battle, and determine the victor." Kaen said, spinning forward, performing the windmill break dance move, and hitting Salza in the chest, knocking him back a bit.

"Oh, is that the highest you can raise your power?" Salza asked. "I will admit, you surprised me with raising your power level, but it's still not strong enough to do any real harm to me." He declared, hitting Kaen with a punch in the gut, sending him into the ground, before hitting him with a barrage of point blank Ki blasts.

The pain coursing through Kaen was immense. He couldn't even cry out in pain as he was hit with countless Ki blasts from Salza. When Salza was done, Kaen was just laying in a crater in the ground, his body twitching as he was slipping between consciousness and unconsciousness. His costume was torn to shreds, and his shield and weapon lay at his side, as they fell off.

'So this is the power of our enemies beyond the stars. I didn't stand a chance.' Kaen thought as Salza grabbed him by the head and raised him off the ground. 'Did I actually think that I stood a chance against him? Guess I have more Saiyan Pride then I thought. A lot of good that did me.'

"Oh, poor little baby. Don't worry, I will make all your pain go away, after I make it worse." Salza mocked, as he began to crush Kaen's head.

Kaen's blank eyes widened as his senses came back to him, with the pain of his skull cracking, coursing through his body.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH." He cried out as he could feel his skull fracturing.

"That's it, scream for me." Salza smirked. "Makes my victory, all the more sweeter."

'No, I can't give up yet. I have to go beyond my limits. I'm not done yet.' Kaen thought as his hands gripped Salza's arms, and his feet planted themselves on the ground. "Get your hands… OFF OF ME." Kaen shouted throwing the aliens arms away from him, and hitting him with a headbutt to the face.

"You little shit." Salza said as Kaen knelt down, and shakily picked up his weapons.

"I may not be, this world's Symbol of Peace. That's fine." Kaen panted, as he held himself up strong and ready to continue fighting. "That title will go to the one who was chosen to take All Might's place. But that won't stop me from fighting till the bitter end." He stated, his shield fully extending.

"A squirmy little fella to the very end." Salza said. "Too bad, this is the end for you."

Salza charged a Ki blast, big enough to tear a hole through Kaen, and sent it his way. But the blast was stopped, when a battle axe, with a handle like a tree trunk, came flying past Kaen from behind, and sliced through the Ki blast, and landed on the ground in front of Salza, as the alien jumped away from the weapon.

"Stormbreaker, to me." A valiant voice called out, as the weapon removed itself from the ground, and flew into the hands of the man who threw it.

Standing there, was a tall, muscle bound man, with short blonde hair with grey stripes on the sides of his head, and a goatee with a grey line down his chin. The man was dressed in leather and bronze armor, with a scarlet red cape on his shoulder, and the battle axe in one hand.

"Nay foul villains. Ye shall not harm this valiant hero, this day." He said.

"Who the hell are you?" Neiz questioned.

"I am Thor Odinson. An' you, shall not be victorious this night." Thor said, as Kaen fell to the ground. "Rest easy valiant hero, you've fought bravely."

"What are you going to do?" Kaen questioned.

"What a hero is meant to do." Thor said, flipping Stormbreaker around with the axe blade, facing him. "Save those in need of a rescue."

Thor raised his weapon into the air, before slamming it down on the ground, creating a burst of lightning that enveloped the duo, before they vanished in a bright flash of light.

When the lightning died down, Thor and Kaen were gone.

"Find those interlopers, and bring me their heads." Salza ordered, anger clear and evident in his voice.

~Central Tower~

"Where'd he go?" Mina questioned.

"I don't know. Scans are showing an unnaturally high amount of electricity, and tachyon particles." Melissa said.

"Well he couldn't have just gone off the grid. Where could he have gone?" All Might questioned.

"Hold up, now we're picking up a similar reading in another location." David said.

"What are the coordinates?" Gine questioned.

"It's… at the Heroes Museum on the south side of the island." Melissa said.

"What?"

~Hero Museum~

All was quiet within the museum, until the cracking of thunder echoed through the building, resulting in Thor and Kaen appearing in the building, with Kaen falling back against one of the cases coughing up blood.

"Easy Young Hero, easy now." Thor said. "The battle is far from over."

"I know." Kaen coughed. "Who are you?"

"As I said to our enemies, I am Thor Odinson, Son of Odin, and former King of Asgard, and curator of the Hero Museum, and strongest member of the Avengers." Thor said.

"I thought that was the Hulk?" Kaen asked.

"That's debatable." Thor said.

"So, what's an Asgardian Ruler, doing on Earth as a museum curator?" Kaen inquired.

"After I left New Asgard, I took a voyage to find myself, and when I was finished with my journey, I came back to Midgard for good. But that is a story for another time. For now, we must prepare for the coming battle." Thor said. "First, we must get you some medical attention."

"No need." Kaen grunted, before reaching to his hip, only to stop when he felt the pouch that had been shredded. "Crap. All my Senzu Beans are gone."

"What is the purpose of these beans?" Thor questioned. "Are they nothing but ordinary food?"

"They're anything but ordinary." Kaen said. "Senzu Beans are magical. Just one, can regrow a lost limb, or even heal a hole in the chest, almost instantly. It can even keep someone fully fed for ten days."

"That is incredible." Thor said.

"But now they're all gone and, destroyed by those damned Cooler Force men." Kaen growled, slamming his fist on the ground, before something tapping and tumbling echoed in his ears, and he looked down to see, a single Senzu Bean. "It must have gotten caught in an undamaged part of the pouch." He said, before eating the bean, his injuries healing themselves.

"Odin's beard." Thor said. "That is amazing, your injuries are all healed up."

"Yeah, but unfortunately that was the only Senzu Bean I had on me. All the others were destroyed by Salza." Kaen said. "Which means if I end up getting my ass kicked in the next round, then it's over for me, for good. Not like it would matter, those guys are way to strong for me anyway. Even if I tried fighting them, I'd just be throwing my life away."

"The enemy is strong, so it is only natural to feel fear. But why do I get the sense, you do not wish to fight them?" Thor questioned.

"Why do you think?" Kaen asked, the shadow trim around his eyes fading. "My whole life, I've been one of the strongest people on the planet, which is a given because I'm a Saiyan, among humans. But I got an actual taste of what real danger is like, and how those who are unable to defend themselves, feel every day. I let my pride blind me. I thought I'd be able to buy my friends and family at least a little time to escape, but I couldn't even accomplish that."

Kaen just sat back against the case he was leaning against, and sighed in defeat.

"I'm no hero. I'm just a prideful idiot who thought he could be a hero." Kaen said.

Thor just looked at Kaen, before he sighed, and took a knee next to the boy.

"Young man. Do you know what truly makes a hero?" Thor inquired.

"What truly makes a hero? The heart of a lion, and the strength of a monster, to protect those in need no matter the cost to themselves." Kaen said. "I don't have either of those things. I was just running on my pride."

"Take care how you speak young one." Thor said. "I've seen you in action. Your strength would easily earn you a place among the warriors of Asgard."

"Is there a point to this story?" Kaen asked.

"Do not hang up your cowl just because you've suffered at the hands of a single defeat. Yes, it is a humbling lesson to learn one's own strength, through defeat. But it is through those lessons, we learn about who we truly are inside." Thor said. "Now, it might be the appearance in garb, but tonight I saw my friend, Steve Rogers standing before those villains, shield in hand, and the courage of a mighty warrior, in your eyes."

"What are you getting at?"

"You are stronger then you may think my friend. For it is no mistake, that you are here, fighting for your friends and family." Thor said. "For there is no greater honor, then to die protecting the ones you love."

Thor could still see Kaen, wasn't convinced, as he was still slumped over in defeat.

"Come with me. There is something I must show you." Thor said, getting to his feet.

Having no other options, Kaen got up, and followed Thor out of the dark room, before the lights turned on, revealing all of the exhibits of legendary heroes past.

"Where are we?" Kaen inquired.

"We are in the Exhibit of the Avengers. The first team of Superheroes, the world had seen and known." Thor explained, Stormbreaker on his back. "Here, are the memorials of all who I called friend, and comrade in arms."

"These exhibits… they're."

"Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Antman, Wasp, Spiderman, and many others, who've joined the ranks of the Avengers." Thor explained. "An' over here, we have the exhibit of the weapons and tools used by my friends, and myself, with Mjolnir as the crown jewel of the exhibit."

"What does any of this have to do with me though?" Kaen inquired, looking at the weapons, and the shattered hammer in the center.

"I've been in your shoes my boy." Thor said, removing the glass from around the shattered hammer's display. "I've felt what you're feeling, I've been put through the same lesson, many times before. But each time, I picked myself back up, and I became stronger after every defeat. But I will never forget, the first time I'd been put through the lesson of my own weakness."

"The first time?"

"I had gone against my fathers wishes. I attacked the Frost Giants, because they'd ruined my coronation to the throne of Asgard." Thor said. "In turn for my transgressions against my fathers wishes, he banished me from Asgard, and sent me to Midgard. Where I learned the value of life, of knowing ones weaknesses, and of knowing how to overcome them. In a strange twist of fate and irony, I have my brother Loki, to thank for teaching me that lesson."

"So, the lesson here is… it's alright to known your own limitations?"

"But it's not alright, to let them bring you down." Thor finished, stepping aside. "Even though it is destroyed, Mjolnir still has its enchantment, which is the reason why the pedestal for Mjolnir is only at hips length. Try to lift Mjolnir's handle."

"What would be the point of trying?" Kaen questioned. "If I remember correctly, the enchantment was, Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor. An' trust me when I say, I'm not worthy."

"You'll never know, unless you try." Thor said, encouraging Kaen to try.

The Saiyan just looked at Thor, before he sighed as he gave in. Stepping up to the shattered hammer, Kaen reached his hand out, and gripped the handle for the hammer. Pulling hard on the hammer, Kaen tried to raise the handle from the pedestal, until he was red in the face, before he stopped. When he lowered his hand down the length of the hilt, Kaen's hand reflexively was pulled back, as he felt something pierce the side of his hand.

"Do not discourage young friend. For you may not have seen it, but you did indeed lift the hammer's hilt, off the pedestal by an inch. That alone, speaks volume to your heart and character." Thor said, putting the glass back on. "Now come. Let us make haste back to the tower, where your comrades await."

Leading Kaen away, the duo left the room, and turned out the lights, barely missing the threads of electricity that danced off the piece of hammer, that had cut the side of Kaen's hand, with his blood on it.

~Central Tower~

"Are you sure they're at the Hero Museum?" All Might questioned.

"They are… or rather were. Now they've vanished again, and…"

David was interrupted, when a flash of lightning, and a rumble of rolling thunder, echoed through the lab, with Kaen and Thor appearing out of nowhere.

"An' yeah this is the lab." Kaen sighed. "I am never gonna get used to that."

"Don't worry, the nausea is temporary and only happens the first couple times." Thor said.

"Kaen/Papa." Mina and Eri cheered, jumping into him and tackling him into the ground.

"Oh, you're alive. I thought the worst had happened." Mina cried, hugging him tight.

"I'm alright you two. I'm alright." Kaen said.

"Ah, the love of a young maiden." Thor chuckled.

"Who are you, what are you doing here?" All Might questioned.

"Stop, All Might, it's alright." Kaen said getting to his feet. "This is Thor, a founding member from the original Hero Team, the Avengers."

"Kaen… this is the curator for the Hero Museum." Melissa said.

"I am of Asgard. I work at the museum to blend in with your society." Thor said.

"Trust me, he's the real deal. Stormbreaker is on his back and everything." Kaen stated. "He even saved my life when I was about to perish."

"We saw." Gine said.

"So if Kaen was able to get his ass beat by these aliens, how do we hope to defeat them?" Fasha inquired.

"Well for one, we could use the Power Stone." Thor said.

"Wait, hold up, did you say the Power Stone?" Kaen asked. "As in one of the six infinity stones?"

"Yes. The same one."

"But, the history of the Avengers said that Thanos destroyed all the stones." Kaen said.

"You know your history well. Fortunately, there was something Thanos was unable to foresee." Thor smiled. "Truth of the matter is, the Infinity Stones can't be destroyed. Not permanently anyway. If they're destroyed, they'll just return and grow, kind of like cosmic seeds that can return over, and over again. I learned this, in my travels across the universe. Each time they regrow, they take on one of the colors to one of their counterparts. The Power Stone, is currently the color of the previous Reality Stone, red."

"So where is the Power Stone now?"

"At first I thought it was in the possession of Professor Shield, that stone he'd purchased from that museum in Japan. However, that stone has been around a lot longer then the current Power Stone. So right now, the Power Stone is still where I'd found it. In the heart of the dying star that forged Stormbreaker and Mjolnir. I know where to get it, but I doubt that we have time to do so."

"Hold on, Asura. Of course." David said.

"What about him?" Kaen asked.

"Currently, he's in my garage, guarding the stone Thor just spoke of. Maybe, if we give the stone to All Might, then he could become strong enough to…"

"That won't work." All Might said. "That stone is Saiyan in origin. If anyone has a chance of harnessing its power, it's Kaen."

"But Kaen's body can't withstand that kind of power." Athena said.

"All Might, my body can barely handle 25% of my current power. I don't think this will work." Kaen stated. "There's no way my body can handle whatever power that gem holds. It can't be me."

"It has to be." All Might said. "At this moment, you Kaen, are the only hope this world has to defeat the enemy."

"Then we're in agreement. Kaen will wield the power of the Monkey King, and save humanity." Thor said.

"How do you know the stone is the power of the Monkey King?" Melissa asked.

"For all we know, it could be some Quirk in crystallized form." David said.

"No-no. When the previous Monkey King passed, he requested my father to help him in building the blocks to finding a successor to his power."

"Such as mummifying his remains, or making a painting that could turn into a motion picture film that gives you a riddle to solve?" Kaen asked.

"Yes, it's quite entertaining actually. Why?" Thor asked.

Kaen just looked to Thor, before he sighed.

~Xiao Long Lab~

"This painting?" Kaen asked, pointing to the painting of Sun Wukong.

"Yes, the very same." Thor said. "Father painted it himself."

"At least we know who made the painting, and who Sun Wukong's friend was." Mina said. "But can the painting seriously move like a movie?"

"Just watch and see."

Putting his hand on the painting, Kaen sent a pulse of Ki through it, the same way he had before, making the painting move again.

"Answer this riddle correctly, and my true power, shall be yours." The Monkey King said. "I can fly, but have no wings. I can cry, but I have no eyes. Wherever I go, darkness follows me. What am I?"

"Wow. That is incredible." Mina said.

"Yet for all our resources, we can't figure out the riddle." Tai said.

"Hold on, there's something different about the painting then I remember of the actual Monkey King." Thor said. "His hair isn't red."

"Red, what would that have to do with anything?" Kaen inquired.

"We can discuss hair colors later. Right now, we need to figure out, how to integrate the stone to Kaen's power." David said. "Every test I've done on it for integration of its power into support items, yields no positive results. They all get destroyed."

"Because your mortal machines, cannot hope to withstand the might of a God." Thor said. "Solve this riddle Kaen, and the power of the Monkey King, shall become yours. All his abilities, all his strengths, and weaknesses. They shall be yours to command."

"How am I supposed to figure out the riddle though?" Kaen questioned.

"Perhaps, the answer lies not here, but elsewhere." Thor said. "Fly high into the air, and clear your mind, while I hold off these villains."

"I'm coming with you." All Might said. "I am the Symbol of Peace. I'd bring shame upon that title if I were to let you fight alone."

"Very well." Thor said. "Then we are off."

"But before you go, we need to do something about your suit." David said. "Can't have our savior, representing the planet in a bunch of rags. Follow me to my main lab."

Kaen looked at Melissa, who just shrugged, having no idea what her father was talking about either. So Kaen just followed David back to his main lab, just as he picked up a keypad and punched in an access code.

"I'd been saving this to give to you at Christmas, since your birthday has already come and gone. But I think, there'd be no better time to give this to you, then the day you debut as the savior of the planet." David said, as man sized rectangular box came out of the wall. "I took some inspiration from the painting of the Monkey King, and the original designs for your suit. I think you'll like this one very much."

The box opened, revealing a modern version of the Monkey King's suit, with the bracers connected to the knuckled gloves, and circlet on the mannequin, with a waist cloak, and shinguards. In general, it was the same as Kaen's old suit, but with the addition of the waist cloak and circlet.

"I kept your original design in mind, and added my own tweaks to it." David explained. "The suit's now made of a fabric based material of Darmanium, the near indestructible alloy you named. The drawback is, the fabric variant of Darmanium, isn't like its solidified elder brother. It can be pierced or destroyed, with enough force."

"How much force?" Kaen asked.

"After running the numbers… it can withstand a hunting rifle with armor piercing bullets, and anything bellow it, but anything stronger then that, and you're gonna be torn to shreds from the resulting impact with your insides." Sam stated.

"Then these guys could definitely damage it." Kaen said. "Well… best not let it go to waste then. I'll meet you two out on the battle field, once I've figured out what the answer to the riddle is."

"We'd better get going." Fasha said. "Those three are causing some serious damage. So we're needing to go now."

~Salza Force~

"Where the hell are those two miscreants?" Salza questioned, his anger rising.

"We can't find them Salza sir." Neiz stated.

"I can see that." Salza shouted, before he had to move back as Stormbreaker flew past him.

"Foul villains, you shall not be triumphant this day." All Might said as he, Thor, and Fasha landed on the ground.

"We are here to stop you, and it will be our pleasure to do so." Fasha smirked. "An' since we're on I-Island, I don't gotta worry about legal consequences when fighting against you. Not that I'd need to anywhere else. I mean, I am Quirkless."

"Look here my friends. We've got us another Saiyan." Salza smirked.

"Not just a Saiyan." Thor said. "You're facing off against a Saiyan, Earth's Symbol of Peace, and an Asgardian King."

"I thought Asgard was destroyed decades ago?" Dore questioned.

"Asgard isn't a place, it's the people." Thor said. "An' for the honor and pride of my father, I say thee, for Odin, for ASGARD." He shouted, throwing Stormbreaker at the aliens.

"I got this." Dore smirked, reaching out his hands to grab the weapon.

But as the weapon grabbed his hands, Dore's eyes widened in shock, when he was sent flying, before he was flattened on the ground, with Stormbreaker on top of him.

"What the? I can't get this thing off me. It's too heavy."

"Only I, or someone worthy of my power, can wield Stormbreaker." Thor said.

"But now you're defenseless old man." Neiz said.

"Just because Stormbreaker isn't in my hands, doesn't mean I'm powerless." Thor stated, his eyes glowing with power, as lightning danced across his body. "You are speaking to the God of Thunder, mortal."

Thor went charging at Neiz and Salza, hitting them both with a lariat, sending both flipping backwards, and landing on the ground, before he held his hand out, calling Stormbreaker to him, his grip on it tight as he swung it, and the hammer side of the weapon, slamming into the ground, creating a rumbling echo of thunder, coursing lightning through all three of them.

"Nice move, you took them down with one swing." Fasha smiled.

"A lot of good it did. They're still standing." Thor said, jumping back.

"That kinda tickled." Neiz smirked. "An' that slam to my throat, really cleared up the knots in my neck."

"Well that's just great." All Might groaned.

"If you can't take them down for good, an actual deity. Then what makes you think the power of the Monkey King can?" Fasha questioned.

"For one, the Monkey King, was far stronger then me, and my father." Thor said. "His strength I would say, would have only been matched by the Six Eared Macaque, and the bringer of Ragnarok, Surtur."

"Any chance we can find either of them?" Fasha asked.

"They'd be a huge help." All Might said.

"Not likely. Six Eared was turned to ash in his final battle against Wukong, and Surtur destroyed himself, when he destroyed Asgard, and my sister." Thor said. "Long story, sad ending. I'll tell you if we survive."

"Let's just hope Kaen can figure out the answer to this riddle, and soon." Fasha sighed. "Because I don't think we're going to last for very long."

High up on the top of the tower, Kaen looked down at the flashing lights of Ki blasts and Lightning, as the fighting progressed onward.

"The riddle, the riddle." Kaen hissed, trying to think of an answer. "Okay so, it flies but has no wings, it cries but has no eyes, and everywhere it goes, darkness follows. The obvious answer to that would be a cloud, but I've tried that, and it didn't work."

"My Liege."

Kaen turned his head to see Asura standing behind him, holding the case with what was obviously the gemstone inside.

"It is good to see you again sire." Asura said, taking a knee to him.

"I wish it was under better circumstances." Kaen sighed, looking back at the battle down bellow.

"What troubles you? Tell me what weighs heavily, and burdens your shoulders." Asura said.

"It's this damned riddle the Monkey King left. I've tried the obvious answer, a cloud, but it didn't work."

"Then, perhaps try looking at it from a different angle?" The walking undead warrior suggested.

"What do you mean?"

"Just as a King goes by many names and titles, so do much of what this world has to offer. Whether it be a scientific name, or an honorable title granted unto them. Perhaps the answer is obvious, and at the same time, it is not."

Kaen's head raised as he looked ahead, before turning around and looking at Asura, an idea popping into his head.

"Asura, that's it. The answer was a cloud, but not by it normal title. It's known by several other names. An' I believe I know, which is the answer to the riddle." He smiled, before raising his arms. "Let's test that theory." He said, before he fell backwards, Asura rushing to the edge.

"Young Lord." Asura called out.

Kaen didn't stop smiling as he allowed himself to free fall to the ground, before he took in a deep breath, and called out a single word.

"Nimbus." His voice echoed.

As Asura looked down in horror, his attention was drawn to the container in his hands, as it began to rattle and shake, with a bright red light glowing from it, before it burst open, with the gem, being held by a large golden cloud. The cloud and gem flew high into the air, before taking a swan dive over the edge, and headed straight for Kaen. Within seconds, the gem and the cloud reached the falling Saiyan, within seconds, with the cloud enveloping Kaen in a solid vail of golden vapors. With seconds until they hit the ground, the cloud pulled up and flew along the ground's surface, straight for the fight, as a bright flash of light, and Kaen silhouette, shined through the cloud momentarily.

At the fight, Fasha, All Might, and Thor were barely holding their own against the three aliens now. The fight had started out in their favor, but had quickly digressed into a one sided slaughter fest.

"Just give up, your planet should feel honored, that Lord Cooler, has chosen it to be his new home base." Salza smirked, hitting All Might in the face.

"Cooler? So you mean you're not selling the Earth to the highest bidder?" All Might questioned.

"No of course not. Lord Cooler actually finds you 'Quirked' individuals, to be appealing, and would be a great asset to his armada." Salza said.

"So that's his endgame." Thor said.

"He doesn't wanna conquer the Earth, he wants to enslave it, just like how his father enslaved the Saiyans?" Fasha questioned.

"Oh come now, surely a weaker race such as your was honored to be working under Emperor Cold's commands, as well as serving under Frieza." Neiz said.

"Well I got news for you. The people of earth, are not so cowardice that they'd agree to let themselves be enslaved." All Might declared, before he was hit with a Ki blast, enveloping his body in flames. When the fires died down, All Might fell to his knees, but kept himself up, by his hands, trying to endure the pain.

"Ah, what a shame. But I'm sure that once the, Symbol of Peace is taken down, the rest of the planet, will fall in line." Salza said, aiming a Ki blast at All Might.

"NO." Thor cried out.

"All Might." Fasha called out to him.

Before Salza could fire off the Ki blast, his arm was struck, and pointed upwards by something hitting it. Looking to where the weapon came from, Salza saw Kaen standing on a golden cloud, but something was different about him.

The shadow trim around his eyes, were back to how they were after eating three Primal Rage candies, his hair was a little longer, and messier, as well as a shade of scarlet red; he had a ribbon of steam encircling him like some sort of royalty ornament, and the weapon in his hands, being a silver bow staff with golden ends. But the surprising thing was, Kaen was still twenty feet away from them. His muscles looked a little bigger and more defined as well. An' the gem was embedded in both his suit, and his chest, shining bright with power, as he had a new sort of aura to him.

"Incredible." Thor smiled.

"He did it." Fasha gasped.

"Sorry, but killing All Might is prohibited today. Better luck next time." Kaen said, jumping off the cloud, with his bow staff retracting back, to being as tall as his shoulders. "A, for effort though. However, I'm afraid this is where it ends for you."

"You pathetic weakling. Your power level wouldn't have changed, just from a wardrobe switch, dying your hair red, and a fancy new weapon and mode of transportation." Salza said, facing the Saiyan as Kaen approached him with his bow staff over his shoulder.

"True, but you might wanna check your Scouters." Kaen smirked. "Come on, I bet ya you'll find something different. I dare you. No, I double dare you."

"Is it just me, or does Kaen seem a bit more…"

"Playful and childish? Yeah I've noticed." All Might grunted, picking himself up.

"Well, that's how Wukong was, so it's understandable that with his power, Kaen may have also gained some of his behavioral issues." Thor stated.

Salza just glared at Kaen, his Scouter trying to read his power level, with Neiz and Dore doing the same; but as the Scouters tried to gauge his power level, they all began to flash with a warning sign, before exploding, literally in their faces.

"It can't be. The Scouters couldn't measure his power level?" Neiz questioned.

"That's not possible. The technology used for our Scouters is superior to the Frieza Force's." Dore said.

"Kaen we need to work together and…"

"Sorry All Might. No can do." Kaen said, interrupting the Symbol of Peace's suggestion. "No offense, but the three of you, with the way you are now, would only slow me down. Why don't you go take care of the two intruders who've broken into the Tower's Vault? One of them is Seryuu, but the other, I don't recognize their Ki."

"He's right, we'd only slow him down the way things are now." Thor said. "Let's get going, and leave these three to him."

"I'm trusting your judgement on this one kid." Fasha said, looking to Kaen, before the three of them flew away. "Don't let me down."

"I won't Aunt Fasha." Kaen snickered. Once they were gone, Kaen just looked up, and his smile broadened when he saw the looks of anger on Salza, Neiz, and Dore.

"You cocky little brat." Dore shouted, flying right at him.

"Let's dance." Kaen said, swinging his staff forward, and hitting Dore in the face with it. He continued the momentum and sent the alien flying back, and landed in the ground, creating a divot as he slid along the ground, before he stopped between Neiz and Salza, their faces horrified as Dore's face was caved in, and he was motionless.

"No way. A pathetic Saiyan isn't strong enough to harm one of the Cooler Force's strongest, let along kill him." Neiz said in disbelief.

"This is what you get for underestimating the power of a Saiyan." Kaen smirked, appearing in Neiz's face.

Out of reflex and anger, Neiz instantly shot a Ki blast at Kaen, but the Saiyan just moved his head to the left, dodging the attack with ease, before he rammed the end of his staff into the alien's stomach, piercing the armor, and ran him through, with his beating heart on the end of the staff, before it fell to the ground, and Kaen pulled his staff away from the dead alien, now facing off against Salza.

"I believe you and I have some unfinished business." Kaen smirked.

"Y-you're not the Saiyan brat from earlier, are you?" Salza asked, with a nervous smirk.

"You're half right about that my enemy." Kaen, or not, smirked. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sun Wukong, but to the people of Japan, my name translates to Son Goku."

"So you took over his body."

"Precisely. My soul had been trapped in that horrid crystal for centuries, while my immortal body decayed and withered away." Wukong said. "A curse, the Supreme Kai put on me for my mischief and behavior here on this planet. The power I gained through eating the forbidden fruits, were sealed away with me. So before the curse took hold, I left a trail of breadcrumbs for someone, another Saiyan, to follow and discover, and when they solved the final piece of the puzzle, I'd have their body all for myself, as well as their power added to my own. But the last thing I expects, was for my new body, to be one of my distant descendants."

"If that's all you wanted, then what are you wanting with me?"

"You see, I have all of Kaen's memories, and to be honest, I can't let you take over the Earth in the name of Cooler." Wukong stated, appearing in front of Salza, his hand piercing his chest, and breaching his back, covered in the aliens blood. "So I figured I'd end it here and now."

"You think this will end with us?" Salza questioned, coughing up blood. "The moment Lord Cooler lost contact with us, he began… making his way here."

"How long until he gets here?" Wukong questioned.

"Within a six month time frame. His aunt is closer though… so he'll probably ask her to… see what's happened, before he gets here." Salza smirked.

"Good to know. I'll be sure to role out the welcome wagon for them both." Wukong said.

Pulling his arm from Salza's chest, Wukong let the alien fall to the ground, motionless and devoid of life. But he sighed in annoyance, when he sensed four individuals behind him.

"Can I help you?" He questioned, turning back to look at Mina, Izumi Asura, and Athena.

"I'm only gonna say this once." Athena said, the bracelets she wore, opening up and releasing hundreds of nanobots, forming armored gauntlets on her forearms, with the same repulsors as the Ironman Armors in the museum. "Give my brother back his body."

"I don't think so. I have a lot of plans I need to continue with, and unfortunately, I'm way behind on them, due to my imprisonment." Wukong stated.

"You're treating the young master's body as nothing more then a play thing." Asura glared.

"Not a play thing, a vessel." Wukong corrected. "One that is surprisingly able to withstand my power far better then he thought he could. He underestimates himself too much, that's one of his flaws."

"Kaen is perfect the way he is, nothing you say, can change that fact." Mina stated. "What happened to you? For centuries you've been known as a hero among the masses. They looked up to you, they thought the world of you."

"Well, sometimes you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I believe Harvey Dent, in the Dark Knight movie, said those exact same words, before he became a villain himself." Wukong said. "Two Face, I believe his villain name was."

"Well this isn't a DC Movie. Let Kaen go now." Mina stated.

"You know… it was pure hell in that crystal." Wukong said. "I was imprisoned in this damned stone, made from my own heart and blood, just because I pulled a harmless prank on the Supreme Kai's apprentice. I learned then and there, that life isn't all sunshine and rainbows, and that it's a very mean, and nasty place. An' no matter how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees, and keep you there. You, me, or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life."

Almost instantly, Wukong rushed Kaen's friends and family, appearing right in front of Mina, with a fist ready to punch her. But his punch was stopped by Asura's hand, creating a shockwave of power. But what was most surprising was, his power wasn't as strong as he intended it to be.

"How was I holding back?" Wukong questioned.

"How dare you." Kaen's voice echoed in his head.

Wukong's eyes widened, as Asura enveloped himself around the possessed body of his young Lord, and the both of them, were drawn into his mindscape, as they were wrapped in a cocoon of power.

Within the mindscape, Wukong was face to face with Kaen, their arms linked by a length of chains, that cuffed at their wrists. However Kaen, did not look too pleased, and it was apparent to how Wukong's punch wasn't at full power, like he'd intended, and why Asura's hand hadn't shatter into bone splinters.

"So you managed to pull my power away from me at the point of impact." Wukong sighed. "Very impressive, I must say I have underestimated your abilities."

"Leave my body, and never return." Kaen glared, Pinach, Oozaru, Banjo, and the other two users of the original One-for-All, coming up from behind to back him up.

"I'm afraid that's not possible." Wukong said. "You and I are bonded, by blood and spirit. It's why we looked exactly alike."

"That's not true. Mecheal's DNA test only proved we were both Saiyans." Kaen stated.

"Sorry to say, he lied. I'm pretty sure the test showed we are indeed related by blood. How else would my power stone, have bonded so well with your body, after you solved my riddle?" Wukong asked. "I could only have fused with someone like this, if they were of my bloodline. Face it kid, you and I are family."

"What happened to you?" Kaen questioned. "When I was a child, I looked up to you, I thought you. I thought that, it would to so cool, to be just like the Monkey King."

"Well kid, sorry to disappoint, but as the old saying goes, never meet your heroes." Wukong said, lunging at Kaen.

Before Wukong could land a hit, Kaen vanished without a trace, and appeared behind the Monkey King, before landing a hit with his elbow in the back of the Monkey King's neck, sending him to the ground.

"You're in my territory now Wukong." Kaen declared. "We fight by my rules. Whoever wins fairly, gets full dominion over this body."

"Fine." Wukong grunted. "We'll play by your rules."

"If I win, you will never have control over this body again, and you will assimilate your power with my One-for-All core, putting you among the ranks of those three, while granting me potential access to your power." Kaen said, pointing to the three soul fragments.

"An' when I win, which I will, you will never be able to take back control of this body, and you'll just be a forgotten face of my greatness." Wukong said.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Kaen questioned, as the others stepped back, away from the duo who were about to fight. "Let's fight."

(Cue Music… Warrior: Disturbed)

Before Wukong could make the first move, Kaen was in his face, and choke slammed him into the ground, stunning the ancient Saiyan.

Flipping back, and over onto his feet, Wukong missed Kaen's foot as he brought it down on him, before hitting Kaen with a leg sweep. The younger Saiyan was quicker though, as he leaned into the role and rolled to the side, hopping back up on his feet, before hitting Wukong with a strike to the chest, with his knee, before grabbing his shoulders, and flipping through the air, before pulling Wukong down, and bending him in a way his body was not meant to bend, before Kaen twisted around, and slammed his knee into his back, forcing his legs to fly into the air, before he was on the ground once more, with Kaen's foot keeping him pinned there this time.

"Yield." Kaen growled.

"Never." Wukong stated, knocking Kaen's leg to the side, and hitting him between the legs.

"That was a cheap shot." Kaen wheezed, as he fell over.

"I'm a deity of mischief, you shouldn't have expected a fair fight." Wukong said.

"I didn't." Kaen stated.

Rolling forward, evading Wukong's staff, Kaen jumped into the air, and landed behind Wukong, before he grabbed the Monkey King's tail, causing him to freeze up.

"I will only say this once more, yield."

"You really think, I wouldn't have outgrown our race's weakness? I know you've done the same." Wukong tried to move, but he was unable to, his entire body felt like it was drained of all power. "What's going on? Why can't I move?"

"I only just recently regrew my tail back from when it had been chopped off, like not even an hour ago, so I have regressed back to having that weakness. Or did you not pay attention to those memories?" Kaen questioned.

"This isn't over."

Wukong's staff grew in his hand, hitting Kaen in the chest, and knocking him back. Taking to the sky, Kaen glared at Wukong, before his attention was grabbed by the length of pole, that came right at him, and struck his face and body, sending him falling back into the ground.

Wukong smiled triumphantly, as he withdrew his staff, and leapt to where Kaen had fallen, his smile broadening, before one of Kaen's legs shot straight up out of the ground, and struck him right between the legs.

"You're not the only one, who can fight dirty." Kaen growled, breaking out of the ground, and grabbing Wukong by the throat, and flying into the air, before he threw Wukong to the ground bellow, causing the startled ancient saiyan to bounce off the ground, as if in slow motion, while Kaen was moving faster then him. "Now for a lesson. You may have heard these words before from my memories, but let me teach you what they really mean." He declared coursing One-for-All, through himself. "Go Beyond, Plus… ULTRA." He shouted, slamming his fist into Wukong.

The amount of force that Kaen sent through Wukong's body, caused the Monkey King's eyes to bug out from impact, as his body was driven into the ground, and pain raced through his entire being.

(End Song…)

"It's over Wukong. I've won." Kaen said. "You shouldn't have underestimated me. An' because you did, you held back, a tremendous amount of your power."

"No. This isn't over, I'm not done yet. I haven't lost. I will be victorious." Wukong growled, picking himself up. "I AM THE MONKEY KING." He shouted, as his body turned to mist.

"NOW." Kaen shouted.

From out of nowhere, Asura came up from behind the Monkey Mist, and with the power he'd absorbed and stolen from his creator, the Necromancer Empress, the ancient warrior began to absorb the Monkey King.

"No, NO." Wukong shouted.

"Sorry, but you're not the only one, who got access to memories that weren't his." Kaen said. "I saw how the Supreme Kai trapped you, and he could have destroyed you, despite your immortality, but he didn't, because Kai's don't destroy. They create. But I'm not a Kai, and neither is Asura. So while he absorbs your power, you will die."

"No. This can't be the end of me." Wukong growled struggling against Asura's pull.

"I'm sorry it had to be this way, I truly hoped, that we could come to some sort of understanding. However, you would have gone on and created conflicts across the world, caused countries to fall, nations to crumble, sought out war and ruin among other countries, just to kill your boredom. An' as a wise old man once said, a wise king never seeks out war, but he must always be ready for it. I believe you were there during one of the many times, when Odin had said that to Thor."

"This isn't over. You have not heard, the last of me." Wukong said, as his voice began to fade, with Asura absorbing the last of him.

"I believe, we have." Kaen said, as the last of Wukong's soul vanished.

Back out in the real world, Izumi, Mina, and Athena were circling Kaen's body, as he was on his knees, and slumped forward in a state of unconsciousness.

"Steady now." Athena said. "Asura was just absorbed into him, we don't know if that was Wukong's doing, or if our plan worked."

~Flashback~

"Izumi, Mina, Athena, we need to talk for a minute." Kaen said, bringing the three girls over into the corner.

"What's the matter Kaen?" Izumi asked.

"There's something that's been bugging me about the Monkey King's stone. In all legends and stories I've read about him, he was immortal in every sense of the word."

"Yet his corpse was mummified and buried under the Great Wall of China." Mina said, getting what he was saying.

"Exactly, now I'm only hypothesizing, but maybe the Monkey King is still alive in that stone of his power." Kaen said.

"That's not good." Athena said.

"If that's true, then there's no telling how he's changed. He could have gone from hero to villain." Izumi added.

"Exactly. Which also means, this could very well be a trap to takeover the body of whoever figures out the riddle." Kaen said. "I have a plan to utilize his power, but to keep him out of my mind, and keep me in control of my body. But we're gonna need Asura, and the power he stole from Necromancer Empress, to do it."

"What do you have in mind?"

"If this is a trap for the poor soul who figures out the riddle, then it's a safe bet, he'll take over my body instantly. I need you three, plus Asura, to come and confront him, before I pull him into my mindscape, and we fight for dominance, but when I pull him in, Asura has to envelope me with his power. If either of us wins the battle, Asura will be fully absorbed into my body and become part of me." Kaen said.

"Kaen that's crazy, we don't know if it'll work. You have no proof that something like this can actually be done." Athena said.

"I won't know unless I try. Please just trust me on this." Kaen said. "When Asura gets here, explain the plan to him, after I've solved the riddle."

"But Kaen, what makes you so sure the power is nothing more then a trap?" Izumi asked.

"Wukong was a Saiyan, and given how most Saiyans are, I doubt he'd be willing to just give his power to someone, rather then keep it for himself." Kaen said.

"That's true. We Saiyans can be very possessive of our power." Athena stated.

~End Flashback~

"I really hope Kaen won that battle." Mina said.

"Wukong tried to punch your head off, if that didn't anger him enough to win, I don't know what will." Athena said.

Before any of them could say anything else, Kaen's body began to move, with a red aura enveloping his form.

"Easy now, easy." Athena said, as Kaen got to his feet.

The aura surrounding Kaen's body continued to brighten, as the Saiyan's body began to change. Kaen's gear, began to change, turning into a suit made of bones with red and black material energy, with the circlet around his head, having a small skull in the center of the forehead, as it turned from metal, to bone. His hair receded from scarlet red to black with a streak of red remaining on the right side. The light of the rising sun behind him, made Kaen look more heroic, as he unintentionally struck a heroic pose.

"Damn, I feel like my body just went through a blender." Kaen said, cracking his neck.

"Kaen, that's really you right?" Athena asked.

"Yeah, it's me." Kaen said. "Asura dispersed of Wukong's soul, sent it to the afterlife without an issue after I managed to get him to start changing his shape. He took on a mist form, so that was our chance to strike."

"So what about this new form of yours?" Izumi inquired.

"Not sure, maybe Uncle David could do something about it. Maybe give me a couple scans. Let's head back to the tower." Kaen shrugged. "I'm sure he could help."

~Within the Tower Sometime Later~

"I have no idea how to help." David said.

Currently, Kaen was lying in the same examination bed that All Might had been in the day before, with David, Melissa, Sam, Gine, and even Athena looking over him. But the readings were showing them things, David couldn't even begin to discern.

"What do you mean you can't help? I thought you were supposed to be an expert on Quirks?" Mina asked, she and Eri staying right at Kaen's bedside. "He looks like a fusion of Sun Wukong, and the Grim Reaper."

"I've never seen anything like this happen with any sort of Quirk in any records I've read, or studies I've done. I mean Quirks can mutate and evolve under circumstances of extreme stress and anxiety, but this is unprecedented." David stated.

"But, Kaen can't be stuck like this forever Papa, I mean he can't even take off the hero costume you made him." Melissa said.

"If that even is the costume I made him." David said. "According to these readings, Asura has completely merged with his body. Not to mention, these Quirk Readings are off the charts. They're almost at the same level All Might's power was, in the Bronze Age of his carrier."

"Well, I guess that's a plus. But what percentage does that put him at in comparison?" Mina asked.

"Right now, he's holds about 75% of All Might's true strength." Sam said, going over the readings.

"Hold on, take a look at this." Athena said, going over the readings. "Kaen might be able to bring this power within his body with a bit of focus."

"These readings do show similar results to mutation type Quirks that can be activated at will." Melissa said.

"It might be worth a try." David said.

"Let me handle this one. I help kids with these types of Quirks all the time at the hospital I work at." Gine said, as the lid to the examination bed, with Kaen sitting up. "Alright Kaen, calm yourself down, and take in some deep breaths. Focus on bringing in, the power that you've got exposed, as if you're retracting an outstretched arm. If you need to, close your eyes, and take several deep breaths."

Kaen nodded, acknowledging what Gine said, before closing his eyes, and focusing on the power coursing through him.

"Mom, we need a healing Quirk ready in case undoing this, brings up any strain his body couldn't normally handle." Athena said.

"Smart idea." Gine said, going into their Xerox Arsenals and bringing up a healing Quirk each.

Kaen sighed, as he allowed his body to relax, before the aura surrounding him began to vanish, and withdraw into his chest, as if that's where it originated. When the process ended, Kaen's costume was back to how it was, minus the circlet and the waist cloak, with the red streak remaining in his hair. It wasn't until a moment later, after the power dissipated into his chest, Kaen flinched in pain as his arms were discolored and he fell on his back.

"Easy honey, we're here." Gine said. "I can heal you."

"Wait, I have a…"

Mina was stopped when Athena stuck her arm out, and shook her head no. She directed Mina's attention to David and Sam, realizing what she was getting at.

'I get it. She doesn't want me to bring out the Senzu Beans in front of David and Sam.' Mina analyzed.

"Easy now sweetie, I'm here." Gine said, as she used the healing Quirk she had in her arsenal. "I can ease your pain, but I won't be able to completely heal your injuries in one go."

"I'll pick up where she left off when that happens." Athena stated.

"We're back." All Might said, coming into the room with Fasha and Thor.

"Did you find those two Kaen sent you after?" Izumi asked.

"Nay, they had managed to escape. But it doesn't seem to be a victory for them." Thor said. "Whatever they were looking for, they could not find, and were forced to leave empty handed before we arrived."

"After that, we spent hours scouring the tower searching for them, but could not find anything." Fasha added. "It was weird, it seemed they were after some sort of Quirk enhancement device that had been in the vault."

"Yet for some reason, it wasn't there when they arrived, as if someone stole it. It was actually one of your projects Dave." All Might said. "Code 1147 I believe it was."

"That's simple." David said. "The board wouldn't allow me to continue my research on it, but they had allowed me to let Asura guard the device. Though an incident occurred in my house a couple nights ago, and the device ended up being destroyed." 'Which is why the hired actors never showed up to play their parts as villains, here to rob the tower. Sam must have canceled their contract.'

"Guess that was a lucky break." Athena said. "No pun intended."

"Can't imagine what they'd want with a Quirk enhancement device." All Might stated.

"Guess now I know what the share holders were talking about, when they said the world wasn't ready for a device like this one, or why they were so worried it would fall into the wrong hands." David said.

"So, how's our young Monkey King doing?" Thor asked.

"Don't call me a monkey." Kaen said.

"Oh, right I apologize. I forgot, calling you that is a racist term." Thor said apologetically.

"So, mind telling us more about the fact you're aliens, and have Quirks?" David asked, not noticing as Sam went around the room.

"It's a bit of a long story." Gine said. "But all will be explained later when we have the chance."

"I think we'd get better answers from dissecting and studying your corpses." Sam said, shocking all of them as they saw him standing near the exit, with what looked like a gun.

"Wait that's…" Thor gasped.

"A weapon from the now dead Shield, based off the Asgardian Destroyer." Sam said. "I fixed it up, and made some improvements to the design."

"The same weapon Coulson wielded, before my brother murdered him." Thor glared.

"Sam what are you doing?" David asked, as Melissa took Eri into her arms and backed away from Sam.

"I'm doing what needs to be done. We couldn't make any money off the Quirk Enhancement device, because it was destroyed, but we can make money from the discoveries we make from studying the bodies of these aliens." Sam said.

"Put the weapon down mortal. You shall not harm these Saiyans. There are so few of them left in the universe, it would be a crime." Thor stated.

"No, ending them would be saving the world." Sam said.

"Dumbass, would you listen for one second?" Kaen questioned as Gine and Mina helped him sit up. "The leader of those three aliens Wukong killed is far stronger then any of them combined, and his aunt, Frostita, will be here in a matter of weeks, before he comes, in a matter of months. We Saiyans are your best chance at defeating them."

"Oh, you are indeed, once we study your bodies, and find a way to enhance our own people through stem cell implants." Sam said, before firing the weapon, with the projectile aimed straight for Kaen.

Acting on pure instinct, Kaen pushed Gine and Mina out of the way, before crossing his arms, taking the brunt of the attack, which sent him into the wall.

"Kaen." Mina gasped.

"Have at thee." Thor cried out, chopping the weapon in half with Stormbreaker.

Now defenseless, Sam looked at the useless weapon halves in his hand, before looking up, just before he was hit with a Ki blast from Athena, and her repulsor gauntlets.

"Did you make those based off Stark's technology?" Thor questioned.

"Sort of. Instead of arch reactor power, they're powered by my Ki, which helps me to focus a shot. I'm not as proficient with Ki control as the rest of my family, at least not in terms of offensive skills." Athena said.

"Kaen, are you okay?" Mina asked, coming to his side.

"Did anyone get the number of the train that just hit me?" Kaen questioned.

"He's fine. If he can make jokes like that, then he'll live." Athena sighed.

"What shall we do with this one?" Thor questioned, holding the unconscious Sam up by his jacket.

"Take him to the authorities." David said. "An' let them know, anything he spouts to try and discredit me, is just him trying to bring me down with him."

"Understood." Thor said, before leaving with Sam over his shoulder.

"Mama?" Eri asked, grabbing Mina's arm. "Can we go home now?"

~A/N~

Thor's appearance shouldn't be surprising. I did put the MCU down as the Pre-Quirk Era History of Heroes. An' yes, I gave him back his Ragnarok haircut. I thought he looked better with it.
