UA's Saiyan Heroes

"I'm so glad you three made it back home in one piece." Tsuki said with a smile. "I saw the attack on the news, and was so worried when I saw you fighting Kaen."

"I'm fine. The only hard part for me, was seeing Cathleen being beaten so easily by that monster." Kaen stated. "I'm happy that no one actually died."

"But it was so annoying and frustrating. We'd spent months planning that vacation and it was all ruined by Xiao Long's stupid mother." Mina grumbled, with Eri cuddled in next to her, sleeping soundly.

"It's fine Mina." Kaen said.

"I take it you met Raven Branwen then." Tsuki sighed.

"We did." Kaen sighed. "It was unpleasant to say the least."

"I could imagine." Tsuki said.

Kaen looked out the window. Their group had been flying via helicopter to the tournament temple for the Grand Raitai Tournament for a while now, and it looked like they were almost there. The ride was long enough for them to get some sleep, it wasn't until after they'd woken up, that Tsuki chose to talk about what had happened during their little vacation to Disney World.

"You sure it's okay for me and Eri to come?"

"So long as you don't try to aid Kaen and cheat it's fine." Tsuki smiled.

"So, I've been curious about something. Why would I have to fight you, before Yujiro? You're the Kaioh Emperor aren't you?"

"I am, but Yujiro holds that title as well. Despite the fact I won the last tournament a hundred years ago. He might have lost to me in the last tournament, he still held the title of Kaioh Emperor before me, which still allows him to hold a lot of weight in the martial arts world, however it's forbidden for two Kaioh Emperor Masters to fight one another. There've been two on the rarest of occasions." Tsuki explained.

"So you and Yujiro have both been put on opposite ends of the brackets, and whoever loses to him, Kaen will have to fight him next if he wins against you." Mina said.

"Pretty much. If Hanma and I were both to make it to the finals of the tournament, the most talented semi-finalist from the previous round, would be required to step in and fight one of us in the others place." Tsuki explained.

"I guess that makes sense. If both of you hold the same title, then as you said, you wouldn't be allowed to fight one another." Kaen said. "So who will my first opponent be?"

"That's yet to be decided." Tsuki said, as the helicopter began to descend. "We've arrived at the temple. We should probably head in."

"Right, let me just unbuckle Eri first." Mina said undoing her seat belt, after they felt the shock absorption from landing.

Exiting the helicopter, Kaen took Eri from Mina, and with his other arm helped Tsuki out of the helicopter. Heading into the temple, with Eri still sleeping in his arms, Kaen, Mina and Tsuki went into the tunnel, following a tournament worker, who was leading them to where they could stay for sleep and recovery after the tournament. But, before they could go any further down the hall, Kaen's head popped up, and he ducked down, keeping Eri's head against his shoulder, and kicked his leg up while still crouched, making contact with another leg that had come to hit him with a roundhouse kick.

Pushing harder against the kick, Kaen forced the offending attack back to where it came form, and pushed up, turning to who had attacked him, and his eyes widened, when he saw a tall, muscle bound man with long red hair and graying sides, and the face of a martial artist, smiling at him, with an impressed expression on his face.

"Impressive. You were able to react in time to block my attack." Yujiro said, clapping his hands slowly.

"The hell is your damage? You could have hurt my daughter." Kaen glared.

"Oh, now if looks could kill, not even my Quirk would save me from that glare. The shadow trim part of your Quirk?" Yujiro questioned.

"Shadow trim?"

"Kaen, the shadow trim from when you eat a Primal Rage candy is around your eyes." Mina said.

"Thanks for pointing it out." Kaen said. "But no, it's not part of my Quirk, just a side effect from something that enhances the primal side of my Quirk."

"I see." Yujiro said.

"Yujiro Hanma." Tsuki began. "Fighting amongst competitors is forbidden outside the tournament's scheduled fights."

"Apologies. I just wanted to see how sharp this young one's skills were." Yujiro smirked, before turning to walk away. "Take care. An' don't get into anymore trouble, with me or the temple keepers."

As the group turned to keep following the temple worker to their rooms, they didn't notice as Yujiro looked back to Kaen, before turning back to look where he was going, his face looking terrified, and covered in sweat with his body shaking.

"The hell is this? I haven't felt this feeling since the tournament I earned the title of Kaioh Emperor two hundred years ago, when I faced that geezer and his offensive Shaori technique. When that boy looked right at me, I felt him staring right at my soul, and I was completely terrified." Yujiro grumbled, as he looked back on when Kaen glared at him. In his mind, he saw the silhouette of a great and mighty feral beast behind the teen dad. "He's no ordinary boy, within his soul, lies an apex predator waiting to be released."

~Following Day: Tartarus Prison~

"Another day of being in here, another day of my daughter being manipulated by that bastard pretending to be a hero." Fujio grumbled pushing his food around in his tray.

"Give it a rest man." One of his inmates sighed.

"Yeah, you've been grumbling about Akuma's little brother since the first morning you were here." Another stated.

"Face it dude, there's nothing you can do to get out of here." A third said.

"I'm not giving up." Fujio said. "I know my little girl is being manipulated, brainwashed, by that arrogant little bastard. An' now he's gone after my wife, and convinced her to leave me, making sure I have no one to turn to when I escape."

"This again? You're never gonna escape. The Quirk inhibitors are active, and prevent us from using out powers to get out."

"But they don't work, on good old fashion wits and tactics." Fujio stated. "I was a tactician in the JSDF, and I've been scoping out possible…"

Before Fujio could finished, there was a rumbling that came from outside. It grew louder and stronger, before it became so loud, their trays of food began quake, right up until everything became silent.

"What was that?" One of the inmates questioned.

As if to answer his question, the west wall of the mess hall burst open, revealing a rather large man, dressed like a giant gorilla, burst through the wall, with the rubble flying through the air, and swirling around like a hurricane in front of the entrance made, preventing any inmates from escaping.

"There he is, grab him and let's go." Someone shouted from the giant gorilla's back.

Fujio realized they were here to break someone out of prison, but the moment their attention was on him, he realized they were after him.

"Hey wait, what are you doing I don't even know you." Fujio said, as the gorilla picked him up.

"Be quiet and keep your head down." The voice from earlier said, before the gorilla went running for the flying storm of rubble.

"Wait, wait, wait." Fujio cried out, thinking they were gonna get chopped to pieces.

But his fears were washed away when the storm of rubble opened up, and once they were clear, reformed into a solid wall.

"The hell?" Fujio questioned.

"Like I said, keep quiet." The voice said, before a man wearing a decorated plague mask popped up from the gorilla's back. "The name's Overhaul. An' I believe the two of us have a common enemy that took something from both of us."

Fujio looked at Overhaul, and remembered one of the men who went to his gym mentioned a few times about he recently got employed by a man who called himself Overhaul.

"You're Kendo Rappa's employer."

"So you know one of my bullets."

"If that's what you call your elite, then yes." Fujio said. "He was one of the patrons of my gym."

"He goes by the Rappa working under me." Overhaul stated. "But he mentioned how you'd be of use to us. So we staged this little breakout, without allowing other more dangerous inmates to escape."

"But why me?"

"Like I said, we've got a common enemy who took something from the both of us." Overhaul stated.

~Grand Raitai Tournament~

"Ladies and gentlemen, after 100 years it's that time again." The announcer called out. "There are twelve signs in the zodiac, twelve months in a years, twelve guardian deities of the earth, the sun, the moon, and the eight directions, twelve heavenly generals, the twelve apostles of Christ, and here today, six warriors, who protect our motherland."

"Man, a lot of people turned up for this fight. Even if there's only half as many fighters." Kaen whistled, looking around the arena. "I know the annual Raitai Tournament was something for sport originating with the Romans, but I didn't think the Grand Raitai Tournament would be such a big event."

"Here we have Kaioh Master Kaen Yagi. Kaioh Master Ryukyu…"

"Wait, Ryukyu's here, and she's a Kaioh Master?" Kaen questioned, looking to the competitors, and saw the Dragoon hero standing there in the ranks as he ignored the announcer continuing to introduce the rest of the fighters. "Wait, scratch that, why the hell was I introduced first?"

"Now, we've got a special announcement for you all today." The announcer said. "In this tournament, we've got Kaioh Emperor Tsuki Ashido, and former Kaioh Emperor Yujiro Hanma, taking part in the tournament today. But due to the rules, they will not be permitted to fight one another. So as per our rules, if they both make it to the finals, then the strongest fighter fought in the Semi-Finals, will fight in their place."

"Wow, Tsuki really has the rules memorized." Kaen said, sounding impressed.

"Now, onto the first match of the tournament. Our first competitors are, the Dragoon Hero Kaioh Master Ryukyu, versus Kaioh Master Kaen." The announcer said.

"Seriously? The first two people announced as competitors, are fighting each other?" Kaen questioned as the other competitors left, leaving only him and Ryukyu in the arena.

"Well, you must be talented in martial arts to have earned the title of Kaioh." Ryukyu said stepping closer to him.

"Well, I've only had the title for about a year now. But I guess you could say I'm talented." Kaen chuckled, stepping closer to her. "Funny thing though, I almost took on your request to have me intern at your agency during the Work Studies."

"So you're a Hero Course Student." Ryukyu said.

"Hero name, Super Saiyan. At your service." Kaen smiled.

"Fight!"

Almost instantly, Ryukyu was on Kaen, spinning forward to hit him with a kick to the side of the head, only for the strike to be blocked with Kaen's forearm.

"Nice try, you're strong, but I'm not gonna be that easy to defeat, just because I'm a first year in high school." Kaen stated.

Pushing Ryukyu back, Kaen slammed his elbow into her stomach, sending her flying back towards the wall of the arena, before she flipped back, and landed on the ground on her feet. Stopping just shy of the wall, Ryukyu had to instantly duck, and evade Kaen's fist as he was instantly upon her and in her face.

"Oh my God, ladies and gentlemen. Kaioh Master Kaen is not giving Kaioh Master Ryukyu any room to breathe or react. She's unable to counter any of his moves, or strike back. She's losing ground, and it looks like she's doing everything in her power, just to dodge his attacks."

"This is bad. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I can't fight back without some breathing room. I guess I'm too damn reliant on my Quirk in even simple fights that don't need it." Ryukyu groaned.

"That's what martial arts are all about." Kaen stated, slamming his foot on the ground, and swinging his arm forward, locking Ryukyu in a choke hold. "To prove you're more then just some Quirk. It's about showing you don't have to be big, to be strong."

Ryukyu struggled to get out of the choke hold, but Kaen's arms were like steel in their grip on her. The Dragoon Hero began to feel herself slipping, before her eyes widened in a sudden burst of energy, and she grabbed Kaen's shirt, and pulled down hard, and brought him rolling forward, and slammed him into his back.

With her grip still on him, Ryukyu grabbed his arm, and held him in an arm lock. Before Kaen could counter her move, he felt her pull hard on his arm, and thrust up with her hips, resulting in a loud pop and crack sound coming from his shoulder and upper arm as Ryukyu dislocated the shoulder join, and snapped the bone in the arm.

"AAAAHHHHH." Kaen cried out, before gritting his teeth.

Fighting through the pain, Kaen used his free arm to push himself up, and roll forward, until he was on his feet, Ryukyu still clinging onto his arm, and pulling tighter on it. As he began to fee spots, Kaen shot his head up, and swung his right arm forward with the continued momentum of rolling forward, and slammed it, as well as Ryukyu on the ground, forcing the Dragoon Hero to let go, and allowing for Kaen to step back, gripping his arm.

"What a match folks. It looks like Kaioh Master Kaen started out strong, but then Kaioh Master Ryukyu took him by surprise and dealt some serious damage." The announcer called out.

"Wait." Ryukyu called with a cough. "Wait, stop the match."

"What's this? Kaioh Master Ryukyu is stopping the match, but why?" The announcer questioned.

"I forfeit this battle." Ryukyu said. "Kaioh Master Kaen, won the fight the moment he locked me in that choke hold."

"I don't believe it folks, Kaioh Master Ryukyu is forfeiting the match, and potentially her only chance to win the title of Kaioh Emperor Master. Why would she do such a thing?"

"The power you saw me demonstrate earlier, wasn't martial arts. It was the survival instincts of my Quirk taking control the moment I passed out." Ryukyu explained. "The rules are clear, the use of Quirks, consciously or otherwise, is strictly prohibited. An' I broke the rules, therefore I forfeit this match, and my title as Kaioh Master."

The crowd gasped. They understood why she'd forfeit the match, but forfeiting her title as Kaioh Master, was something none of them were expecting.

"Hold on Ryukyu." Kaen said, holding his arm as he stepped up to her. "I'm willing to accept your forfeit due to the rules, but I am not willing to accept you giving up your title, just because you made one mistake. No body is perfect, and I believe you should still be allowed to retain your title, since you didn't mean to break the rules."

"What's say you folks? Should Ryukyu be permitted to keep her title of Kaioh Master?" The announcer questioned, receiving a resounding applause of approval in response. "There you have it Ryukyu, your title remains. An' the winner of the first round of the Grand Raitai Tournament, is Kaioh Master Kaen Yagi."

~Lookout Japan~

"How many possible realities is Kaen going through?" Toshinori questioned, sitting with Arcane at Mecheal's desk, eating popcorn as they watched one of the realities like it was a cinematic movie.

"An infinite number of them." Arcane said. "In fact, there's one in particular that I find interesting."

"Which one is that?" Toshinori inquired.

"Let me show you." Arcane smiled, grabbing the Eye. "Kaen Yagi, Island of Paradis, Wall Rose."

The reality being projected, shifted from the one they were watching of Kaen, to another where there were large human eating monsters, devouring everyone they could grab.

"Why is this one interesting?" Toshinori inquired, feeling a bit sick to his stomach.

"Just watch." Arcane said. "This world is filled with monsters called Titans, and there are Nine specific Titans who can shift between human and Titan form. But with Kaen's appearance in this world, things take a drastic turn in the tides of battle.

They continued to watch the Titan filled reality, with Toshinori feeling sicker and sicker, before a large armored Titan appeared, running through the already destroyed gates.

"Keep your eyes on this big armored guy." Arcane said.

Toshinori kept his eyes on the Armored Titan like Arcane said, before they widened, as the Armored Titan threw a fist and it clashed with another fist covered in the same armored platting with the skin just past the knuckles, being the extent of the opposing fist.

"Holy crap." Toshinori gasped as the view changed to both the Armored Titan, and another Titan.

This Titan's body was covered neck to ankle in red fur, with what looked like the armored plating akin to that of the Armored Titans, but slimmer and with the red fur visible in the exposed areas, with a diamond shaped ruby in the center of the Titan's chest, and actual ribs made of armor on the outside of the body running to his back, and most likely connecting to his spine. The Titan's hair was long, spiked, messy and black with a tint of red to it, and he had a monkey tail, covered in the same red fur, with the vertebra of the tail producing curved blades all the way to the tip, which looked like a spearhead on a very lethal whip. The irises of the titan were green while the sclera was completely black, with shadow trim similar to Kaen's Primal Rage shadow trim around the eyes and on the eyelids.

"That Titan, it looks like a… but it can't be a… but it looks like a…"

"Like a what?" Arcane asked with a smirk.

"Like a Saiyan. It has to be just one of the nine you mentioned, a Beast Titan."

"Nope, the Beast Titan looks nothing like that one." Arcane said. "It's bigger, and has brown fur all over its body."

"Then what Titan is it?" Toshinori inquired.

"It's the 10th Titan. The Saiyan Titan." Arcane stated.

"How is this possible?" Toshinori asked.

"In this reality, Kaen, Mina, and Eri didn't exactly end up in Paradis after the watch exploded. Sometimes the explosion is lethal, and actually kills them." Arcane explained, rewinding the play of the reality to a bit of ways into the past. "Here that's what happened. But instead of going to the afterlife, the three of them ended up here."

Toshinori's eyes widened, when the image stopped on a specific point in time, showing them a clear night sky filled with stars and what looked like a tree made of pure energy branching out in all directions.

"The Coordinate. The source of all Titans." Arcane said. "Here, the founder of the Titans Ymir, molded and rebuilt their broken bodies, and even crafted Kaen's repaired body a portion of the creature that gave Ymir her Titan abilities covered in her blood and spinal fluid, giving him her power and the power of the Titans, before wiping their memories and sending them to the island of Paradis, in the ruined and invaded lands of Wall Maria, near the shattered gates of the wall."

"Wait, you mean that Titan is…"

"That's right. The Saiyan Titan, is Kaen." Arcane said.

"But… his form looks so much different then the Armored." Toshinori said.

"That's thanks in part to Asura." Arcane said. "With Asura having merged with him, Kaen's Titan form is able to take on this look, as the lack of armor, is perfect for a martial artist like him. Asura is also what allows Kaen to revert from Titan form, without eating any of the other Nine Titan Shifters."

"So then, that means he's not one of those man eating monsters?" Toshinori asked.

"Those man eating monsters, were once human, having these titan transformations forced upon them by an oppressing government who makes Hitler's Conquest for world domination, look like child's play." Arcane said, a stern look on her face. "The act of turning these humans into Titans, is considered to be a form of execution. Generally, it's done to Subjects of Ymir, but traitors outside of the Eldian Bloodline, but the Titan Spinal Fluid can effect those outside the bloodline."

"Alright, this is a lot to take in." Toshinori said, leaning forward with his head in his hands. "I think I'm gonna be sick."

"Hey, easy now it's okay." Arcane said.

"So you mean to tell me, this oppressing government, is destroying nations, using the power of the Titans?"

"Eight of the Nine, though Seven in this case, since the Attack Titan has been on Paradis for over a decade now, and the Founding Titan has been there since the walls were built thousands of years ago." Arcane explained. "Though the Armored Titan and Colossal Titans are there, to try and take the Founding Titan, back to the mainland, in which the people of Paradis, and completely ignorant of. They truly believe, they're the last of humanity and that Titans have overrun the rest of the world. They aren't even aware that the Titans they slay, used to be human, just like them."

"Then… I hope beyond all things, that in this reality Kaen has been put in, he frees the Eldian's on Paradis." Toshinori said.

~Recovery Room~

"How's this feel?" The doctor asked, raising Kaen's arm.

"It stings, but it's nothing I can't deal with." Kaen said with a wince.

"Alright, this might hurt a bit. But I'm gonna…"

Pop-Crack.

"Gah, that hurt like hell." Kaen groaned, clutching his shoulder as he popped it back into place, much to the shock of the Doctor. "No worries doc, I'm more then capable of handling the pain. Not the first time my shoulder's been dislocated."

"Do you need anything for the pain?" The doctor inquired.

"No, I just need to relax and I'll be good to go." Kaen stated. "How about my broken arm?"

"Well, I recommend you don't fight in your condition." The doctor explained. "From the looks of things, it seems you'll be fighting Yujiro Hanma in the finals, should you make it through to the next round. But before any of that can happen, I need to reset the bone, and put it in a cast."

"These tournaments should be longer, but since Quirks became the norm, less and less people practice martial arts." Kaen sighed.

"Such a shame. But I have a feeling we'll be seeing a change in that soon." The doctor said. "You have a couple visitors. Would you like for them to come in?"

"I could use some support with the bone being reset, sure." Kaen said.

"I'll bring them in n…"

"Kaen." Mina called out, the door to the recovery room slamming open as she interrupted the doctor. "Oh I was so worried when Ryukyu broke your arm. Are you doing okay Hun?" She inquired, coming to his side with Eri.

"I'll be fine babe. I'm tougher then I look, you know that." Kaen chuckled. "Where's Tsuki?"

"Mom's currently taking place in her fight. Yujiro already won his fight without breaking a sweat." Mina said. "You might wanna take a Senzu Bean before you fight him. You're gonna need all your strength in this fight."

"No drugs that could enhance his performance." The doctor said, getting ready to reset Kaen's arm.

"Senzu Beans aren't drugs, they're an all natural medicinal plant." Mina said.

"So is cannabis." The doctor said, resetting Kaen's arm. "But it's still a plant."

"Geeze Doc, couldn't you have given me a little warning before you did that?" Kaen questioned, gritting his teeth to hold back to pain.

"It's okay Papa, I'm here." Eri said, hugging his other arm.

"Thanks Kitten." Kaen huffed as the doctor set his arm in a cast.

"Does your arm still hurt?" Mina inquired.

"Like you wouldn't believe. But I'm a tough guy. I'll just get some rest before my fight with Yujiro." Kaen said.

"That fight might be sooner then you expect." Tsuki said, coming into the room with a bruised cheek. Tsuki was dressed in a martial arts Gi, that from the wear and tear, told the stories of Tsuki's achievements and victories in battle as a martial artist.

"Mom, are you okay?" Mina asked.

"I'm fine dear, but my opponent was a tough customer. He put up one good fight, but I still lost to him in the end. Guess my body wasn't prepared for another Grand Raitai Tournament, like I thought it was. But he'll be up against Fujio next, so I doubt you'll have anything to worry about with him."

"It's Yujiro I'll have to worry about." Kaen said.

"Babe, just eat the Senzu Bean. He's got zero control over his Quirk, so he'll be using it no matter what you do." Mina said.

"No Mina. I'm not gonna take an easy way out. If I'm gonna fight him, I'm gonna do it, in the condition I'm currently in." Kaen said. "I'll only take the Senzu Bean after the tournament ends."

"Fine. You can be so stubborn sometimes." Mina sighed.

"But, we've got some bigger news to deal with." Kaen said, putting a newspaper down in front of them. "Fujio's escaped from Tartarus. An' he had outside help."

"That's very troubling, and concerning." Tsuki said.

"Given the details in the news article. I can only think of one man, to have motive, and would be responsible for freeing Fujio." Kaen said, a dark shadow over his eyes.

~Shie Hassaikai~

"So I appreciate you breaking me out of prison, but I would like an explanation as to why I'm here. An' to how you got my gear back from police custody." Fujio said, sitting across from Chisaki, wearing his military gear he'd been wearing when he kidnapped Mina to bring her to Mecheal.

"I have connections within the police department." Chisaki stated. "But as I said earlier, you and I have a common enemy. I believe, you're familiar with Kaen Yagi?"

"I'm familiar with him alright." Fujio stated. "That bastard brainwashed my little girl, and turned her and my wife both against me. He will pay for his transgressions, with his life."

"Well, he stole something of mine from me as well." Chisaki said, pushing an old photo of Eri towards him. "This little girl is Eri. She's the granddaughter to my predecessor, the former head of the Hassaikai. She's like a daughter to me, and Kaen and Mina, took her from me and turned me into a villain, in the public eye, preventing me from getting her back. She's important to me."

"I can understand the pain of that villain, tearing someone away from you." Fujio said. "What are you needing from me though?"

"It's simple really, help me get Eri back, and I'll help you with getting your family back. It's a win/win situation for both of us." Chisaki said.

"How would you be able to make that happen?" Fujio asked. "Not even my own father, could undo the brainwashing done on her."

"Well, I'm the current head of the Hassaikai. I can find out a lot of stuff, and I can make a lot happen, an' I just so happen to know, that if Kaen dies, any and all brainwashing he's done to the people around him, will be undone almost instantly." Chisaki explained.

"Okay, say I believe you. What happens then? What will I gain in order to help you, outside of our agreement?" Fujio inquired.

"Well, for starters. I have a friend who could… give your body an upgrade."

"A friend?" Fujio questioned, raising a brow.

"Well, he's more family then a friend. Isn't that right Tucker?"

"Oh of course." A new voice said.

Fujio turned around to see who had spoken, as a man came out of the shadows. Tucker, was a bespectacled middle-aged man; he looked like he had little muscle mass or height, and had a receding hairline leaving him only with a small amount of brown hair, and a slight beard stubble. He has only been shown wearing a single outfit, that of a faded green open-collared shirt with sleeves that he keeps rolled up to his elbows, and a second black shirt underneath, finished by a lab coat over all, with a mildly content expression on his face. Next to him, was a creature of some sorts, with the body of a dog-like beast, claw like finger paws, and soulless empty eyes, with a mane of chestnut brown hair.

"Ah Tucker, I assume you undid Rikiya's disguise for the breakout mission?" Chisaki questioned.

"It was a simple matter Overhaul. All that was required was to do the process in reverse." Tucker smiled pushing up his glasses.

"Daddy…" The dog beast began, its voice distorted into something unholy. "Daddy I wanna play. When is Eri gonna come back?"

"You can play soon Nina." Tucker said. "Right now Daddy has to work. We're trying to bring Eri back."

"Apologies for Nina's… ungodly sight." Chisaki said, seeing the disgusted and horrified look on Fujio's face. "She was in an accident that would have cost her, her life if Tucker hadn't used his Quirk to merge her body with their pet dogs. But because of that, he was ridiculed, and accused of trying to play God. But if we don't get both our daughters back, then they could very well end up having to go through that as well."

"I… see." Fujio said, turning back to look at Chisaki. "I'll help you, in exchange for getting my daughter back."

"Then we have a deal." Chisaki said, smiling under his mask. "Tucker, why don't you give our new friend, whatever he wants for upgrading his body to fight the villain who… took his daughter away from him."

~Final Battle~

"Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome, to the final round of the Grand Raitai Tournament." The announcer called out. "For this final match up, we have Kaioh Master Kaen Yagi, fighting against Former Kaioh Emperor Master Yujiro Hanma."

The crowd began to cheer as both masters came out of their tunnels, facing off against one another.

"These two legends will fight for victory. One to reclaim the title he lost over a hundred years ago, the other to gain the title of the worlds strongest martial artist. Who will win?"

"Just make this easy on yourself kid, and forfeit the match. There's no way you're gonna be able to win against me with your arm broken, and in a cast like that." Yujiro said.

"Maybe not, but I'm at least gonna try to win." Kaen said. "I'd take your advice and forfeit, but my pride won't allow me."

"Stubborn to the bitter end I see. Too bad, guess I'll just have to break you." Yujiro said, taking a martial arts stance.

"Let's see you try." Kaen said, taking his own stance.

"Begin."

(Cue Music… It's Mine: Mystery Skulls)

Kaen and Yujiro vanished from sight, before they reappeared in the middle with their legs clashing, creating a ripple through the air from the impact, before they were both back on the ground.

"Impressive, but let's see if you can handle this." Yujiro smirked, running at Kaen.

The young Saiyan follows Yujiro's movements, and ducks under Yujiro's arm as he swung at him, before Yujiro brings up his knee in an attempt to strike Kaen with a painful blow to the face. But the Saiyan stopped the knee that was advancing to hit him by blocking it with his palm, before he rolled away.

"Is that all you can do, just run away?" Yujiro questioned.

"No, I assure you I am capable of so much more." Kaen said.

Jumping over Yujiro as the red haired man ran at him, before Kaen performed a one armed handstand on the man's shoulder. Swinging down, Kaen slammed his knee into Yujiro's back, sending the man rolling forward.

Rolling to a stop, Yujiro landed on his feet and turned around to face Kaen, with a smirk on his face.

"Oh, now this is interesting. Even with one arm in a cast, you're still a formidable opponent, I guess I should take you seriously." Yujiro said, grabbing his top and removing it. "Take a look, and face your destruction."

Kaen just looked at Yujiro, and raised his brow before the older man turned around, and he saw what Yujiro was talking about. From the tunnel Kaen came out of Mina was in shock.

"Wait his back it's…"

"Impressive old man." Kaen cackled, before he smirked, as he stared down the back of the demon. "But I'm not impressed. Come at me and show me what you got."

Kaen smirked as he tensed his muscles, causing his shirt to tighten around his body before it was torn to shreds, but while he was doing this, Yujiro came charging at him, and swung at the boy, but the attack was blocked, and Yujiro was sent flying back, slamming into the wall, before he fell to the ground. Looking up to see Kaen's back as he lowered his foot back to the ground, revealing his back looked fiercer then Yujiro's, as Kaen's tail flicked about, before wrapping around his waist.

"How… your back shouldn't be able to look like that. The Demon Back is only a technique only those of the Hanma bloodline can do." Yujiro stated.

"Huh, then I guess you really don't know." Kaen smirked. "I did some digging into Baki Hanma, the last child you had in the Pre-Quirk Era. Turns out, you and I have a bit of a connection to each other, Gramps."

"No, you can't mean…"

"That's right. Baki Hanma was my ancestor, and the ancestor of my father." Kaen stated. 'It's not a total lie, but I'm only able to use the Demon Back, because those from the Royal Saiyan Bloodline are capable of this as well, but it's very rare for them to use this technique. So I did inherit it, just not from you, Yujiro.'

"I see." Yujiro smirked. "Then I guess I should be thrilled. Why don't you do your gramps a favor, and forfeit the match to reclaim the honor of the title of Kaioh Emperor?"

"Not gonna happen." Kaen said, appearing almost instantly under Yujiro's vision.

'His speed is so fast. He's not the same as before.' Yujiro thought. 'He's that wild beast I sensed the other day.'

Swinging his arm up, Kaen landed a direct blow on the underside of Yujiro's chin, knocking him back, before he crouched down and performed a leg sweep on the man, sending him to the ground flat on his back, before Kaen was above him, and hit the man with a leg drop, building up a cloud of dust.

(End Song…)

As the dust cloud settled, Kaen was seen standing on his feet, his back having reverted from the Demon Back, and looked down at Yujiro as he lay on the ground.

"An' that's it. The title of Kaioh Emperor, is now that of Kaen Yagi." The announcer called out, as the match was declared to be over with, causing the crowd to cheer.

~Later~

"Ow-ow-ow." Kaen hissed.

"Hold still you big baby. You're lucky this is the least of your problems right now." Mina said. "How could you not tell us that you did some background work on your family tree? Don't you think I have a right to know, Mr. Hanma?"

"Ah, hey watch it. Listen, Baki's daughter married someone with the name Yagi, and that's where my family name comes from." Kaen said.

"Still, it's rather surprising. You didn't seem like the type to be able to do the Demon Back." Tsuki said.

"What's more, you beat Yujiro Hanma." Mina said.

"Nah. I didn't beat that monster." Kaen said. "I read in the first tournament he took part of, the Kaioh Emperor of that time had actually died of old age, then came back to life. He did something similar."

"What do you mean?" Mina inquired.

"Yujiro Hanma, managed to stop his own heart enough, to make it seem like I'd won." Kaen said. "Gave me a confidence boost, and allowed me to take on the title of Kaioh Emperor."

"Speaking of." Tsuki began holding a gift basket. "These are for you."

"What are these?" Kaen asked.

"There's more to claiming the title of Kaioh Emperor, then just the title itself." Tsuki said. "You also get the reward money from the fight, and other offerings befitting one who claimed the title of Emperor. Including this." She explained, holding up an envelope.

Taking the envelope, Kaen opened it to find a check inside, and his eyes widened when he saw the number written on it.

"500 Billion Yen?" He questioned. "An' it's already written out in Japanese Currency?"

"Yep. It's where my money came from, and why I'm so well off and don't need to work, even though I was a house wife." Tsuki smiled. "It's the same amount every Supreme Raitai Tournament, or so I'm told by those who host it."

"Couldn't they have just given me a quarter of a quarter of a quarter of this?" Kaen asked.

"You agreed to take this when you agreed to signing the waiver." Tsuki said.

"Fine. What else is in the basket?" Kaen asked with an annoyed sigh grabbing his phone as it buzzed.

"There's a set of keys, most likely to some vehicle of some kind." Mina said. "An' some other rather expensive looking stuff."

"That would explain this text I just got from mom." Kaen said, looking at his phone. "She sent me a pick of a three wheeled Polaris Slingshot R-XII, and is asking me why it's parked in our driveway."

"The ones who dropped it off must have used the spare keys to take it to your house." Tsuki said. "That's a luxury vehicle."

"I don't even have a drivers license yet." Kaen groaned. "Oh well, guess I can do some work on it to improve the engine output before I get my license. Maybe even make it echo friendly and take out the gas tank entirely for a new power source?"

"That sounds like a smart idea." Mina said.

"Either way, you should be proud of yourself for winning. You might not think you won, but I know you did." Tsuki smiled, heading for the door. "I'll leave you three be to get some rest. We leave for Japan in the morning."

Leaving Mina, Kaen, and Eri to their own devices, Tsuki closed the door, and let out a sigh, and just stood there, for what seemed like minutes.

"Is there something I can help you with Yujiro?" Tsuki questioned, without turning to look back at the man who was waiting outside the room.

"Not really. Just wanted to give my congrats to the kid." Yujiro said.

"Spare me your chatter, and tell me why you decided to forfeit the match. We both know you had the upper hand on him in that fight, so why?" Tsuki asked turning to look at him.

"It wouldn't have been fair." Yujiro sighed.

"That doesn't seem like something you'd be concerned with." Tsuki stated.

"Normally you'd be right. But there's something about that kid, that made me think that if he didn't win. His reality would be torn to pieces. Generally speaking, I don't mind doing something like that to someone, but to crush the reality of an aspiring hero like him. Gotta say, not even I'm that cold blooded and heartless." Yujiro said.

"You are aware, he and his father aren't related right?" Tsuki questioned.

"I'm aware. Like him, I did my fair share of research on this century's competitors for the tournament. But it still amazed me that he's capable of the Demon Back technique." Yujiro smirked. "Someone who was holding back so much power, and still pulled that technique off, would have to have surpassed my strength, no question."

"Then why?"

"Because he was holding himself back." Yujiro said. "I'd rather have died then accepted the title without fighting him at his best. It wouldn't been a true battle for dominance, or the title, if I didn't fight him at his pique."

"You do realize what you're saying right? You're openly admitting that he's surpassed all human limitations. That his full strength would shake the very heavens themselves." Tsuki said.

"I'm aware." Yujiro said, pulling a bottle of coke-a-cola from his pocket and handing it to Tsuki. "Give this to the kid for me. Tell him, I had fun and we should spar again sometime." He relayed as he walked off.

"What is wrong with you?" Tsuki asked, turning to face his back as he walked off. "You were once known as the most ruthless man on the planet. The one man who could topple a monstrous brontosaurus sized elephant with nothing but his bear hands."

"I don't know. Maybe, getting my ass handed to me last century was the kick in the pants I needed, to start acting like a proper father figure, and my match against the kid today, was the pilot light that lit the fuse you set in our battle." Yujiro said. "Either way, I'm done with grasping at straws of power. But that kid, that kid is gonna go far."

~A/N~

No joke, the demon back workout is real that I've been doing myself for a couple weeks.

An' you shouldn't be surprised I added Tucker. I did put Winry in the Support Course. But Chimera Nina was a last minute addition.
