UA's Saiyan Heroes

"Aizawa, how are things progressing?" Toshinori questioned walking into Gym Gamma, greeting his fellow teacher, this had been his fourth visit so far.

"You're back again?" Aizawa questioned. "We're getting there, progress is slow but going faster than expected."

"Now, onto me Dark Shadow." Tokoyami said, gaining their attention. They looked up to see Tokoyami covered by Dark Shadow like armor. "By having Dark Shadow cover me, my strength is enhanced, and I'm better at close combat. I call it Abyssal Black Body."

"Is that hard to say? It's important that it's easy to call out." Midnight said, overlooking Tokoyami's training.

"Got it." Dark Shadow said.

"Some of them have finally solidified their fighting styles." Aizawa exclaimed. "An' there are those already putting together special moves."

They turned to look up at Katsumi as she prepared for her attack as she held her left hand, fingers in a ring form, up to the palm of her right, and that area seen within the circle began to light up.

"Not from my entire hand. But a blast concentrated from a single point." Katsumi said as she let the attack fly off. "AP Shot." She called out before the shot pierced the stone wall in front of here, leaving a hole straight through it that made her smirk with pride. "Haha, I did it."

"No surprise that Young Bakugo is doing well. As usual." Toshinori said turning back to look at Aizawa, missing the concrete slab that was cracking before it broke and began to fall towards him.

"Hey watch out." Katsumi called to Toshinori.

Aizawa moved and grabbed his scarf to wrap around Toshinori, as he turned and stared at the falling piece of cement. But before Aizawa could execute his plan, blurs of black, red, and green came whizzing past him as a pair footprints were left indented into the ground with cracks surrounding them. One of the blurs went zipping past the stone, before curved blades sunk into the side, pulling the stone back momentarily before Izumi's foot slammed into it.

"SMASH." Izumi called out, shattering the rock to pieces.

Toshinori's eyes widened when he saw the costume change, and how it now looked sturdier and more combat-ready in appearance. The material of the costume looked more durable and could handle more output from One-for-All. An' it looked like she had her costume upgraded to suit her new fighting style, as he could see the addition of iron soles to her red boots, while her gloves were extended to arm braces, and her knee pads now had yellow bolts fastened into them.

The curved blades holding the rocks had been retracted back to Kaen as he and Izumi landed on the ground, and they reattached themselves to his armored bracers, retracting to flatten to the side, with the chains trailing up his arms and to his back between his shoulders. Kaen also had the addition of the Saiyan royal crown on his head, and the ring on his right hand, with the emblem now the same ornate A, that Toshinori had on one of his belt buckles as All Might.

"Whoa, talk about a major costume change." Toshinori said in awe.

"You okay All Might?" Izumi asked running up to him with a bit of concern.

"I'm fine. Thanks to you and Kaen, Young Midoriya." Toshinori smiled.

"Yo Midoriya, what was that? You swooped in and wasted that rock." Kaminari said, gaining her attention and showing the changed they made to their costumes.

"I always thought you were more of a puncher than a kicker." Kirishima smiled. "An' what's with those blades Kaen?"

"They're not sharp unless I put my Ki through them." Kaen said. "Otherwise, they're just dull and good for capture weapons."

"I've actually switched up my fighting style, and am actually on being an even amount of both." Izumi smiled. "I upgraded my footwear by applying iron soles that can spring out at the front and back, boosting the force of my kicks, they're Hatsume's design."

"That's amazing." Kirishima smiled.

"She even has a new mask that's of Ruby's design, after she helped me with my upgrades." Kaen stated.

"Kaen and I just came by to get some last minute training in before the gym is taken by Class-B." Izumi said. "Though I still got a long way to go before I can call anything an ultimate move."

"I don't know Young Midoriya." Toshinori said grabbing her attention. "Based on that kick, I'd say you've already got another move added to your arsenal."

"Hey All Might, it's dangerous in here, you should be careful." Aizawa stated.

"Yeah I know." Toshinori said, before turning to look at Katsumi. "Sorry for the scare Young Bakugo."

"You watch yourself All Might." Katsumi said, setting off an explosion.

"Same Katsumi as always. But I feel like something's different with her." Kaen said.

"So you guys made improvements to your costumes to?" Izumi smiled, speaking to Kirishima and Kaminari.

"Yeah, I see you've noticed we look pretty awesome." Kaminari stated proudly.

"You're not the only one here with a brand new style. We've all been making changes here and there." Kirishima stated confidently. "Now's the time to upgrade right?"

"Just wait, my new special gear is gonna blow your mind." Kaminari stated. "It's a serious power boost. Wanna see? Come on, it's totally amazing."

"That's enough Class-A."

The group of students turned to see Vlad King standing in the doorway with some of his students. To the shock of many of them, Monoma was back among their ranks, and Shinso was nowhere to be found.

"Class-B is scheduled to use this training room, every afternoon." He stated.

"Class-B?" Izumi questioned.

"Man, crap timing." Kaminari said.

"Eraser. Get your kids out of our way." Vlad declared.

"You're not trying to kick us out early, when we have ten whole minutes left are you?" Aizawa questioned.

"Forget that, why the hell is Monoma back in the Hero Course? What happened to Shinso?" Kaen questioned, pointing at the blonde.

"Oh wow, the villainous ape is finding it hard to believe that a true hero has returned to his rightful place in the Hero Course. How sad." Monoma mocked.

"When news of your supposed death, became known to the public, his family's lawyer managed to pull some strings and some legal bullshit to forcefully switch him and Shinso back around, putting Shinso back in General Studies, and Monoma back in the hero course. By the time you made it back to the world, it was too late to do anything to stop it." Aizawa explained.

"Hey did ya hear? The License Exam has a 50% pass rate. That means your entire class might…"

"Either shut your mouth Monoma, or I'll shut it for you." Kaen growled. "You are so goddamn annoying and self serving, I don't even know what U.A was thinking, putting you in the Hero Course to begin with."

"That's enough." Vlad said, pushing Kaen back. "Take a walk and blow off some steam. Don't take your unjustified anger out on my student."

"Young Monoma." Toshinori began, gaining Monoma's attention as his son marched past the annoying teen. "I'd suggest you watch what you say around Kaen from now on. Eri is still missing, and because of that he's in no mood to deal with anything you might say."

"Oh, Eri's his daughter right? If you ask me, she probably just ran away from home, because she didn't feel safe having such a villain for a father." Monoma laughed.

"Eraser." Vlad said.

"I know." Aizawa acknowledged, grabbing his binding cloth.

Behind Monoma, Kaen was just standing there, the rest of Class-B cowering in fear as a dark miasma enveloped his form, and he slowly turned around to glare at the blonde.

"He's dead." Kirishima said.

"No surprises here. Kaen won't put up with any bullshit talk about his daughter." Kaminari sighed.

Monoma's laughter continued until he felt a hand grab him from the back of the head.

"What the? Don't tell me the pathetic villain thinks he can…" Monoma's mocking stopped when he felt the pressure increase on his head, and it was starting to become painful. "Ow-ow-ow-ow… Stop this hurts so much."

"Yagi, that's enough." Aizawa called to him, wrapping his binding cloth around Kaen's torso, forcing Kaen to let go of Monoma, while a large clump of his hair, and possibly some scalp, had been pulled from his head from the sudden yank. "Beating up Monoma for what he said, isn't worth throwing away your future."

Kaen looked at Aizawa, before he dropped the clump of hair, and shook off the binding cloth as Aizawa loosened it.

"The hell? You're gonna pay for that you bastard? Ya hear me?" Monoma questioned.

"Monoma."

The sound of Kendo's angered voice caused the blonde to freeze before he turned to see her, pissed off and enraged.

"You arrogant, piece of shit, ASSHOLE." She shouted, hitting him in the face with an overgrown fist.

The punch sent Monoma flying through the air and straight into one of the cement pillars, before he fell to the ground.

"Kendo. That was uncalled for behavior." Vlad said.

"Yeah? Well Monoma's behavior isn't fitting for that of a hero. He should have stayed out of the Hero Course, and remained in General Studies." Kendo said.

"He's just trying to fit in." Vlad said.

"He's being a bully and an asshole. He doesn't care that Kaen is in pain from his daughter having gone missing, he doesn't care that Kaen's trying his best to hold himself together, and keep from falling apart." Kendo said, reaching into a pocket on her suit. "I was gonna wait until after training to give you this, but I guess now is a good time."

Kendo put a folded up piece of paper in Vlad's hand, and stepped back as he opened it.

"What is this?" Vlad questioned looking at the paper.

"It's a petition to kick Monoma back to General Studies, and to return Shinso to the Hero Course." Kendo said. "All students from Class-B signed it, all teachers besides you and Principle Nezu signed it, and even Pro-Heroes who know Shinso's worth have signed it."

"It doesn't matter." Vlad said, tearing the paper up. "Monoma stays, and Shinso remains in General Studies."

"That was only a copy. The original was handed in to Nezu this morning." Kendo explained.

"By who?"

"By me." All Might said. "I handed it in. As a teacher I am wanting the best for my students, but as a father I am wanting to keep my son from having to put up with someone like Monoma, after what he did to him at the Sports Festival."

"You all can't be serious…"

The group turned around to see Monoma limping towards them.

"You'd all rather, side with that villain, and allow another villain to take my place in the Hero Course, then accept your superior for what he truly is? I am to be the greatest hero of all time, I cannot let that monkey make a mockery of me and get in the way of my greatness. That includes all of you, I cannot let any of you stand in my way. What I did at the Sports Festival, was all so I could prove how wrong you all are to put your trust and faith in him."

"That's enough." Aizawa said, wrapping Monoma up in bindings, before hefting the blonde over his shoulder. "I'm taking him to see Recovery Girl. Obviously he's got some trauma to his brain, and needs help. Class-A, hit the showers and return to your dorms. All Might, try and see if you can find where that son of yours went."

~Kaen~

"Stupid Monoma, always trying to get under my skin, always trying to make me the bad guy. I'm sick of it." Kaen said.

"Yagi wait up."

Kaen turned around to see Iida, running to him in his new armor. Iida's overall design was the same, except for a few things. The armor was slim to where it looked like it was made of fabric, with the exhaust pipes on his torso having thinned out, and looking more flexible. The armor on his legs looked more like armored boots comprised of shinguards, and were fitting to the shape of his legs. The suit under the armor was a bit more form fitting, and showed off his refined muscles more then before, while looking like it was completely comprised of an extremely flexible material. The only thing missing, was the helmet.

"Iida, you're looking good."

"I feel lighter, and thus faster." Iida said. "I wanted to say, don't let Monoma's words get to you. He's just a bully full of hot air, and shallow dreams. What he said was uncalled for, and unbecoming of an aspiring hero. He doesn't even belong in the Hero Course to begin with."

"It sucks, but unless he does something like he did at the Sports Festival, nothing can really be done to kick him out." Kaen said.

"Come on, I'll buy you some ramen. I heard todays special is marinated steak." Iida said.

"Alright. I'll pick up lunch next time then." Kaen snickered.

"We'll find Eri. I can promise you that." Iida said. "You helped me when I had revenge on my mind. Now it's my turn to help you."

"Thanks Iida, you're a good friend."

"Happy to help."

~Day of the Exams~

"Is anyone else getting kinda nervous?" Jiro questioned.

"I wonder what they're gonna make us do." Yang questioned. "Ugh, what if I can't get my license, I always talk a big game but now that I'm facing against the real thing?"

"Xiao Long." Aizawa said, gaining the blonde's attention. "Don't ask if you can, say you will."

"Right. I've so got this in the bag, no problem."

"If you can pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then you novice eggs will hatch into chicks, you'll be semi-pros. I expect your best." Aizawa exclaimed.

"All right, I can't wait to be a heroic chicken." Kaminari said.

"I cannot believe you just said that." Jiro said, looking at him with an, are you serious, look on her face.

"Let's call out the usual you guys." Kirishima said, not noticing the student with the white shirt and black hat on his head joining their group. "On my mark, go Plus…"

"Ultra." The student not of their class cried out raising his fist, at the same time as Kirishima.

"Uh, sorry pal but, who are you exactly?" Kaen questioned.

"I'm Inasa." He introduce proudly.

"You know it's pretty rude to barge into other people's huddles like that Inasa." Another student, wearing the same uniform as Inasa, said as he and the rest of his group joined him.

"What? Pardon me." Inasa said, a smile still etched onto his face. "I am. So. Very. Extremely sorry." Inasa said, bowing so far down, his head hit the concrete, while his hat flew off his head from the momentum of the bow.

"Who is this guy, I do not trust his enthusiasm." Kaminari questioned.

"It's him." Aizawa said, recognizing the student.

"You know him Sensei?" Kaen asked.

"You could say that."

"Hey look at their uniforms." Jiro said.

"They're from that famous school from the other side of Japan." Sero said.

"U.A, in the East, Shiketsu in the West." Katsumi stated.

"Shiketsu is on the Western side of Japan, and their version of U.A. Their hero course rivals that of our own."

"You seem to know your stuff kid." Inasa smiled proudly, blood pouring from the opening on his forehead. "I wanted to say it just once. See, I really love U.A High School, I am extremely honored to compete against such incredible students. I'm so looking forward to it."

"Whoa, blood." The girl in the Shiketsu uniform said.

"Let's go." The purple haired boy said, sounding rather pompous and distasteful of the U.A students in front of him.

"Inasa Yoarashi." Aizawa stated.

"Do you know that guy Mr. Aizawa?" Toru asked.

"Indeed, he's strong." Aizawa said, causing his class to gasp. "He's the same year as you all, and received the top scores for students accepted through recommendations, but for some unknown reason, he turned down his acceptance to U.A, and went to Shiketsu."

"Wait, he's our age?" Yang inquired. "But if he had the top scores for those with recommendations, then wouldn't that make him, better than dual elemental student we have right now?"

"Hold on is anyone else confused here? This guy says that he loves our school, but he turned down his chance to enroll when it was offered?" Sero asked.

"Yeah, what a weirdo." Mina said.

"Well, it could be that there's someone at U.A, he doesn't like, and felt that if they went to the same school, it would cause nothing but problems for both him, the student, and the school if they constantly got into conflicts." Kaen theorized.

"That's actually a valid point, and reasoning as to why he might have turned it down. But with that being said, it must have been someone in the recommendations group, because the exams for the recommended students, was the only time before the school year began, that he or any of the others stepped foot onto the campus." Aizawa stated. "Still though, that doesn't change the fact that he's the real deal, keep an eye on him."

"Eraser?" A woman's voice called out, causing the sleep deprived hero to freeze up, before he straightened his posture, and gained a look of annoyance. "I'd know that scowl anywhere. I saw you on TV and at the Sports Festival, but it's been a while since we've been this close in person."

"She looks familiar." Mina stated.

"She was in the spectators seats at the Sports Festival. She was wearing some sort of gas mask though." Kaen said.

"Let's get married." The green haired woman said gesturing her finger between her and Aizawa.

"No."

This impromptu proposal caused Mina's heart to pound as she was a sucker for romance.

"Mina, I know that look. Don't interfere in these affairs."

"You're a real laugh riot, buddy." She said, laughing while turning away.

"As usual you're impossible, Joke." Aizawa stated.

"Oh now I recognize her, that's Ms. Joke, the Smile Hero." Izumi smiled. "Her Quirk is Outburst, she forces people around her to laugh which affects their ability to think and keeps them from being able to move. Her fights against villains are always full of insanity."

"Come on imagine it. If I was your wife, you'd have a future full of constant laughter." Ms. Joke said, giving Eraser a thumbs up.

"That sounds like an actual nightmare." Aizawa said, causing Ms. Joke to laugh.

"It seems like you two are close." Tsu said.

"Our agencies are near each other, as young heroes striving to make a difference in the world, a mutual love bloomed." Ms. Joke smiled.

"No it didn't." Aizawa stated.

"I do miss your quick retorts." Ms. Joke smiled. "You're my favorite person to tease future husband."

"So Joke." Aizawa said, ignoring her last comment. "If you're here, then that must mean…"

"That's right." Ms. Joke said, before turning to the students coming her way. "Over here everyone, this is U.A."

"Oh whoa, it really is Class-A." A black haired student stated.

"Oh wow, it's so amazing. I've seen them on TV before." A blonde haired girl, with her hair looking like Bakugo's mask accessories, exclaimed patting her classmate's shoulder.

"Seconds Years, from Ketsubutsu Academy." Ms. Joke smiled. "This is Class-2, they're my students."

"Hey I'm Shindo, seems like U.A's had a lot of trouble this year, must have been tough for you." The black haired kid said grabbing Mina's hands.

"I'm gonna stop you right there Mr. Grabby." Kaen said as Mina pulled her hands away. "Your face might say you're wanting to be friendly, but you're eyes give you away. You're wanting to size us up so you can crush us."

"Well aren't you a clever one." Shindo said.

"I'm not Class Rep for nothing pal."

"Hey Todoroki, can I have your autograph? You were so cool at the Sports Festival, you know until you got destroyed in the second round of the finals." The blonde girl said.

"Uh…" Todoroki didn't know how to respond to that.

"Seriously Nakagame? Stop fangirling over him." Another boy in the academy uniform said.

"Oh my gosh, you're Kaen Yagi, the son of All Might." Nakagame said, getting in Kaen's face. "I can't believe we get to participate in the same exams as the Symbol of Peace's son."

"Uh, thanks I guess?"

"I'm guessing all this attention is another reason why you kept your fathers secret from me?" Mina asked.

"You, and everyone else in the world." Kaen stated.

"Hey, get your costumes and head for orientation. There's no time to waste." Aizawa said.

"Yessir." The class said.

~Orientation Hall~

"Look at this crowd." Izumi said, as everyone from class was gathered together in the middle of the crowd, dressed in their hero costumes, surrounded by other schools and hero course students.

"There are so many." Uraraka said.

"Ugh… Okay then, let's do this exam thing." A tired voice said gaining all their attentions. "I'm from uh… the Hero's Public Safety Commission, name's Mera. My Circadian Rhythm is all screwed up, aw man. I've been swamped lately and I haven't gotten much rest. We're too short staffed, I'm so tired. With that confession, I'll now begin orientation."

"I'm thinking this guy could use a vacation to Hawaii, before he loses his marbles." Kaen said, looking a tad concerned.

"So about the content of this license thing. Basically 1,540 examinees compete in a free for all exercise, or whatever we're calling it this year." Mera stated.

"Seriously? That's not a lot of info." Sero stated.

"See, we've got a lot of pros around, and since Stain was arrested, many people have expressed doubts in heroes of society." Mera sighed.

"He's talking about Stain's convictions. The idea that most pros aren't worthy of the name hero, that the only things they're after are fame and fortune." Iida said. "The Hero Killer, is still affecting our world."

"But, when you really think about it, getting paid makes sense. If you're going to risk your life to save someone, why shouldn't you ask for a reward, huh? That's just the way the world works. God I could use a coffee." Mera exclaimed. "Anyway, whether they're in it for compensation, or a sense of duty, we've got too many heroes working in the streets these days to keep villains at bay. Honestly, the time between when an incident begins, and when it's resolved is ridiculously short. You are all here trying to receive your provisional licenses, so you'll be swept up in this tiresome mess yourselves pretty soon. Those of you, who don't have the speed, frankly just won't cut it. Which is why that's what you'll be tested on." The instant Mera said that, the screen behind him showed that the first test was that only 100 people will be able to pass. "The first hundred students to fulfill the requirements will pass today."

"There are over fifteen hundred people taking this test, I thought they said that about half of us would be passing?" Momo questioned.

"This means the actuality of the exam, is less than one percent will pass and get a license." Tsu said.

"Oh man, I'm getting way more nervous." Jiro said.

"Well the world can be pretty crappy. I suppose I should say something about luck." Mera said, standing up. "So anyway, here are the basic rules. The examinee will put three of these targets on his or her body, they can go anywhere you want, as long as it's an exposed area, so no souls of the feet or armpits. Each of you will also have six of these balls. The targets are programmed to light up whenever they've been touched by the balls. If all three targets light up, you're out. Oh, and the person who lights up your third target will get credit for your defeat. You get through this round, by taking down two people. Got it, good. What else? Uh, I guess we'll start passing out the targets and balls. Then you'll have a few minutes to get situated after we open."

"Open?" Todoroki questioned before the building began to shake, as the walls and ceiling came apart like a cardboard box opening and flattening on its own.

The outside revealed several different areas similar to the USJ's Layout, but had an increasingly higher amount of space, and more areas to be taken into account.

"I'm sure each of you have different terrains that you like or want to avoid. Use your Quirks well, and do your best, or not, whatever." Mera sighed.

'This is so unnecessary.' Kaen thought as Mera stood up.

"Yes I know, it makes for a great reveal, doesn't it?" Mera questioned. "An' for what? So much sleep lost for this. Hopefully some of these kids are fast and we can get this over with, until then I'm gonna rest my eyes."

Up in the stands, Aizawa was in a bit of an annoyed mood.

"Eraser." Joke said trying to hold in a laugh. "Your fly is down."

'Why is it that I can't find a moment of peace and quiet in my life?' Aizawa questioned.

"I can't believe you still have twenty students. It's unusual for you not to have expelled someone." Joke exclaimed. "You must actually like your class this time."

"Not really." Aizawa stated.

"Ah, don't be embarrassed, that's so like you." Joke laughed. "Please date me."

"Shut up." Aizawa said, causing Joke to laugh even more.

"But really, you know what's about to happen down there. An' yet, you didn't mention a thing to your class." Joke said, looking at him with a knowing gleam in her eye.

Back down in the arena every student was running for different terrains.

'If the first people to finish the exam win, then no one will go after their classmates. The best way to win is to team up with people whose powers you already know.' Izumi thought. "Everyone, stay close together, we'll fight them as a group." She said, earning confirmations from Uraraka and Iida.

"Yeah right. This isn't a field trip." Katsumi said before running off.

"Stupid girl, wait up." Kirishima said as he ran after her.

"Katsumi, you get back here right now, we have to stick together as a group." Kaen said.

"I'm going on my own to." Todoroki said. "It's hard for me to use my powers safely when a big group's around."

"Todoroki." Izumi groaned.

"Midoriya, there's no time. Let's go." Iida stated.

Back in the stands, Ms. Joke was watching the students keenly with Aizawa sitting a few seats away from her.

"Every year, the test is different, but one thing's always the same. It's kind of like a tradition during the licensing exam." Joke said.

Back in the arena.

"I still don't think it's a good idea for them to go off on their own." Izumi stated.

"Why's that?" Uraraka questioned.

"Think about it. Everyone already knows what powers we have, thanks to the Sports Festival." Kaen added.

Back in the seats.

"Most of the students who compete in the exam, have pretty equal footing, except for one school. U.A comes in at a severe disadvantage, because the top school's Sports Festival is broadcast across the country, showing off not just your students Quirks, but their weaknesses and fighting styles to. Kind of funny, isn't it?" Joke questioned, unwrapping a stick of gum.

Back in the arena.

"The other schools have probably figured out the same way to win, that I have." Izumi stated. "This is most likely going to end up being a battle between schools, but with one key difference. They're likely to gang up against Quirks they already know."

"Does that mean?" Mina asked.

"Don't tell me." Jiro confirmed.

The sound the horn going off, signaled the start of the exam.

"The first test will now begin." One of the examiners declared.

Back in the seats.

"If you liked your class this year, then you should have warned your students about all of this." Joke stated. "We've seen it time and time again in this exam. U.A, is immediately crushed."

"So you think we'll be taken out?" Aizawa questioned. "I don't really see a reason why I should have warned them. I doubt anything would have changed if I had. They're still going to have to overcome this either way. Real heroes could turn this situation around. Besides, if they become pros, they'll face villains who already know their Quirks. Perhaps at U.A, we look a little further ahead than other schools. We go beyond, Plus Ultra style."

Back in the arena, Kaen held four of his throwing balls and with all the strength he could muster, while holding back to not seriously injure anyone, he threw the balls and they bounced off one another, while hitting multiple people at a time, knocking them back and hitting their targets at once.

"Well, that's it for me." Kaen said, removing his targets, before turning to his classmates. "Sorry but, this is a bit boring for me, and none of you are gonna grow if I coddle you through the exams."

"Wait big guy, you're not gonna help us?" Yang questioned.

"If I were to help you now, then the exams wouldn't really amount to anything. You all need to learn how to fend for yourselves." Kaen said. "An' this exam is the perfect place to learn to do that."

"Kaen, there's something you're sensing, and not telling us, isn't there?" Mina asked.

Kaen was silent for a moment, before he looked to his classmates with a sigh.

"I'm hoping that what I'm sensing is nothing, but there's a chance that I'll need to fight, and conserve all my strength for it. I haven't been able to transform since you and mom told me about Eri when I was still in the hospital, so I'm hoping it's nothing." Kaen said.

"You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up." Mina called to them.

Izumi didn't argue, and directed the rest of the class to follow. Once they were gone, Mina confronted Kaen.

"What's going on?"

"I'm sensing some powerful energy coming from beyond the atmosphere. It's Frost Demon energy, and it's powerful." Kaen stated.

"Is it Frieza?"

"No. Most likely it's Queen Frostita, Cooler and Frieza's aunt, the one Salza spoke about before Wukong killed him, back on I-Island." Kaen said.

"So you got the first round of the exams over with as fast as you could because…"

"Because I might literally be the only one on this planet, capable of stopping her. An' the only way to stop a Frost Demon like her, is by killing her. I don't like it, but I don't have a choice." Kaen said.

"Okay, so how much time would you say we have until she arrives?" Mina asked.

"It's hard to say." Kaen said. "But her forces are close to the planet. She's most likely locked onto the strongest energy her Scouters can detect."

"A.K.A, you."

"Me, Izumi, Athena, Celeron, or even All-for-One. Any one of us could be what she's locked onto." Kaen stated. "But I need to conserve my strength for the fight ahead."

"Alright, head for the waiting room for those who've finished. I'll meet you there." Mina said, before giving him a quick peck on the cheek.

"Be sure you don't get taken out." Kaen said, heading off towards the waiting room.

~Elsewhere~

"Queen Frostita. We're approaching the planet now." One of the aliens working for Frostita said, coming to her side.

"So we've finally reached the planet my dear Nephew Cooler has his sights set on." The womanly voice said. "Bring up the strongest power levels the scanners have detected. Let's be sure to take care of them first."

"Right away my Queen."

The window in the main deck of the ship opened up to a screen, showing several high power levels. A few of which caught her attention, almost immediately.

"That one, who does that belong to?" Frostita questioned, pointing to the third Power Level on the screen.

"That my Queen… belongs to, this young man right here." The alien said, bringing up video footage of the one that power level belonged to. "Wait, that crown."

"I see. So a few Saiyans managed to make themselves at home on this planet. He must have been strong to have taken down Cooler's elite like that. But what's with the red streak in his hair? Is he a half-breed?"

"No my lady, sensors show he's got power levels that could only belong to a pure blood, once more, it's unclear but somehow he's containing a tremendous amount of untapped power within his body. Power that could even rival that of Lord Beerus."

"What?" Frostita questioned angrily. "There is no way a pathetic monkey could have that kind of power. Now that I think about it, Frieza did mention his battle scars were caused by a monkey in a clown costume with a red streak in his head."

"You don't think… this is him do you?"

"It's either him, or his son who inherited his looks. A trait not uncommon among the Saiyan Race. Set coordinates, we're going after this pathetic ape first."

~Kaen~

"Achoo." Kaen sneezed.

"Whoa dude, you doing alright? I know you've been sitting in this cold room by yourself for a while, but I doubt that's enough to give a guy like you a cold." Kirishima said.

"Nah man, I'm pretty sure someone's just talking about me." Kaen stated accepting a drink from him.

"If you say so." Kirishima said, sitting next to him. "So listen man… I wanted to ask you something."

"Break my sister's heart and you're dead." Kaen said.

"Huh?"

"Don't play dumb. It's obvious you got a thing for Athena, and you're like the modern day Hercules. An' it's clear you've been wanting to ask her out, but something's been holding you back." The Saiyan teen stated.

"You could tell huh?"

"Dude, I'm dating Mina, who's the literal relationship expert." Kaen said. "I've picked up a thing of two from dating her myself."

"I wanted to get your blessing to ask her out, since it didn't seem right to just do so behind your back." Kirishima said.

"An' I appreciate that man, but what I told you wasn't a threat about me ending your life. It was a warning to be careful. If you break Athena's heart, she will kill you herself." Kaen stated.

"Duly noted." Kirishima chuckled. "So do I have your blessing?"

"Well, Athena's a big girl. She knows how to take a hit, and she's smart. So I might be older then her by ten minutes, but that still doesn't make me in charge of her social life. If she wants to go out with you, then by all means go ahead and ask her. But if it's what you wanna hear, then fine, you have my blessing. Kind of a weird time to ask me for it though."

"I wanted to ask her out on a date if I got my license. But I felt like I couldn't unless I had your blessing." Kirishima said.

"An' you couldn't have waited until after the exams?"

"Guess I could have. But there was no guarantee I'd get my license today."

"Kaen, can I talk to you alone?" Izumi questioned, coming to Kaen's side.

"Sure. Give us a sec Eijiro?"

"Take all the time you need." Kirishima smiled getting up and heading off.

"Alright, what's up Izumi. You haven't been this frazzled since the Sports Festival and you nearly let out my secret connection with All Might." Kaen said.

"Well… I might have told Kacchan, at the beginning of the year that my Quirk… was given to me, by someone other then Athena." Izumi said.

"Dad told me about this, and she didn't believe you."

"No, but just a moment ago, she did say something alarming. She said she's not surprised I passed the first round with the Quirk I have, and that I've finally managed to make, this borrowed power my own." Izumi said.

"Oh you idiot." Kaen grumbled. "I guess it would only make sense, she's managing to fit the pieces together now, after what she experienced in Kamino."

"So, what do I do?" Izumi asked.

"For now, nothing. Just let things play out like normal, and you should be fine." Kaen said. "But try to look at the bright side of things. It seems our entire class has passed the first round."

"Every spot is now filled. 100 students will advance." Mera's voice echoed through the speaker system. "The end is finally here, YAHOO."

"He sounds happy." Kaen said. "Sounds like the first round is finally done."

"So what are we gonna do now?" Izumi asked.

"I think that's something we're gonna learn in a bit." Kaen said.

"Alright, for the hundred of you who've passed the first test, please turn your attention to the screen." Mera's voice came through the system again, as the screen in the room switched to a view of the testing grounds.

"Huh, it's the test arena." Izumi said.

"What's gonna happen next?" Uraraka asked.

Before Kaen could give a suggested, his eyes widened as a bright light began to shine from above the arena, before it came down and crashed into the mock city, destroying the arena and everything around the area. When the light and dust cleared, Kaen's eyes were glued in anger, when he saw that nothing remained within the arena. No fake buildings, no ruble, nothing of the sort. Just flat dirt ground and the arena walls.

"This… this isn't part of the test." Mera said. "What's going on? Is this some sort of villain attack? What became of the civilian actors who were supposed to assess the hero's scores?"

The camera switched angles, and was pointed towards and Kaen's breath caught in his throat, as he could see a fleet of ships, made from Frost Demon technology.

"Hold on, what's happening? Someone's hijacked the broadcasting and has spread its signal." Mera said.

"Kaen?" Mina asked.

"Yeah, that's her." Kaen growled, before the screen changed to that of a Frost Demon with a feminine face, with violet pink skin, and curved horns on her head.

"Greetings citizens of Earth." Frostita said. "I am Queen Frostita. I have taken over every major broadcasting network your planet has to offer, and am using it to relay this message."

"What's going on man?" Kirishima asked. "Does this have anything to do with what happened on I-Island?"

"Sometime ago, my nephew, Lord Cooler, sent his mightiest warriors to this planet, to conquer it for him. An' in doing so that meant either killing, or enslaving the populace that roams this planets surface." Frostita explained, showing three images of the Cooler Force. "However, their invasion on your planet, was stopped by someone on an island, you'd all know as I-Island, if my search of your planets cultures and geography is accurate. Someone on the island killed them, preventing my nephew from obtaining what is his by birthright, as an Emperor of the Universe. This planet will be his, and I will be eradicating you all, starting with this little location here."

The image on the screen changed, from her, to a birds eye view of the Dagoba Stadium, where the destroyed training grounds could be seen as a smoking flatland.

"Any and all who wish to challenge me, step forward. I'll be waiting in the newly vacated lot of the arena." Frostita laughed, before the screen went black.

"What do we do now Kaen? This building is the only one still standing in the arena, and it'll only be a matter of time, before she finds us. What the hell even is she?" Kaminari asked.

"She's a Frost Demon." Kaen said. "She's one of the four most powerful being in the universe who could destroy this planet with ease if she wanted to. Her brother, and her nephews, are the other three. Only her nephews, Cooler and Frieza are far stronger then her or their father."

"How do you know this?" Kirishima questioned.

"Because I'm a surviving member, of a race Frieza tried to wipe out nearly twenty years ago, called the Saiyans." Kaen sighed, before flying into the air. "Everyone, gather around." He called to them, his voice booming with power. "I'm about to tell you all a story. A story about a race of warriors, and their inevitable demise."
