UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Ugh, I can't believe I'm gonna have to contact him for help." Kaen sighed, walking along the path to the school building from his dorms, while tinkering with the puzzle on the bamboo box.
"So it was a no go with my dad huh?" Mina asked.
"Yeah, he was adamant about his justifications on hating me, even used the fact I'm an alien to reinforce those beliefs, and I even saw a memory of his, made me sick to my stomach." Kaen said.
"Come on man, it couldn't have been that bad." Kirishima said.
"No it literally made me sick to my stomach. The moment Mecheal let me and Arcane out of Fujio's mind, my head was in the nearest trash bin purging what remained of my lunch." Kaen stated. "Then afterwards, I had to deal with a group of…"
Kaen stopped talking when he reached his arm around Mina's head, and caught a brick that had been sent flying at her by someone throwing it.
"Go back to your home planet you freaks." One of the, students, called to Kaen and Mina before running off.
"Should we go after him?" Kirishima asked.
"Let him go, we'll just report this to Hound Dog, and after reviewing the security footage, he'll take care of the rest." Kaen said. "Either that or he'll get the kid's scent from the brick."
"Man talk about an ass hat move." Mina stated.
"They're scared. They don't understand that we Saiyans aren't here to cause trouble, we're just here to live and try to rewrite what it means to be a Saiyan." Kaen sighed. "I had to deal with a group of five of them the other day when one of them stole the box, but that was nothing more then a ploy to lure me to an ambush to try and kill me."
"I heard about that on the news. You doing okay man?" Kirishima asked.
"I'm fine, they couldn't even hurt me." Kaen said. "I'll meet you both in class, I have to go report the kid who threw the brick at Mina."
After making the small pit stop, Kaen made his way to class, and took his seat and wait for class to actually begin.
"So, anything Fujio have to help with getting Eri back?" Mina asked. "Did he even cooperate?"
"He wasn't much help, so Mecheal was forced to delve into his mind, and let's just say, what I saw, was the reason why I couldn't keep down my lunch." Kaen explained.
"Was he at least taken back to jail?" Mina inquired.
"No, we had to let him return to the Hassaikai after Mecheal was finished with him, and wiped his memories before he left. Didn't want Chisaki to get wise on anything."
"It's a pain, but something like that had to be done I suppose." Kirishima said.
"Guys I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused." Izumi said, bringing everyone's attention to her, steam blowing out of her nostrils.
"No sweat, Deku. Thanks for your hard work." Uraraka said.
"All she did was vacuum, and what's with those steam nostrils?" Jiro questioned.
"Class Rep, Kaen. I apologize for dragging you into that situation and for showing such disrespect towards our class." Izumi said, stepping right up to Kaen.
"Don't sweat it, just don't pull a crazy stunt like that again." The Saiyan scolded.
"I'll catch up with everything I fell behind on, these past three days." Izumi declared confidently.
"She seems energetic this morning." Mina smiled before turning to Kaen. "So why weren't you punished for what happened? You brought them to that flying fortress didn't you?"
"I wasn't punished, because I hadn't actually fought. I didn't join the fight, I was busy acting like an archeologist while they beat each other silly." Kaen said, looking away.
"There's something you're not telling me, isn't there?" Mina asked.
"Time to take your seats everyone." Aizawa said, before Mina could question him further, and Izumi could make more declarations. With everyone in their seats, Aizawa felt it appropriate to begin. "Morning, now that Midoriya's back, we'll go further into detail on what the work studies will entail. Go ahead and come in."
The group all looked to the door, before it slid open, causing most of the class to gasp in shock.
"I'll have people who've experienced them, first hand explain." Aizawa said, as three students, upper classmen, lined up in front of the class. "I suggest you listen carefully about how work studies differ from internships. These three are third years at U.A. They rank at the very top of our student body. You may know them as, the Big3." He explained, the shock growing more in the students eyes.
Standing there, were three students wearing the school uniforms, who were widely known and regarded around the school.
The first among them, was a tall young man with a very muscular build, possessing a number of noticeable scars around his lower arms. He had blue oval-shaped eyes, with no visible sclera, his nose was prominently rounder than most others, and he had blond hair, with the top part, arranged in a cowlick, while the bottom section is worn swept backward.
To the left of him, was a fair-skinned girl of average height with wide, curious eyes. Her upper eyelashes are long and thick, with royal blue irises. Her hair a periwinkle color, reaching all the way down to her knees, twisting around itself at her waist and curving inwards around her legs. She has side-swept bangs, tucked behind her ears on the right and hanging just over her eyes on the left, and two short clumps of hair framing either side of her face, curved towards her face on the right and behind it, under her ear, on the left. Cup size: J-Cup.
The third and final student was a tall young man, with rather pale skin, is ears longer than most, with the tips pointy and somewhat elf-like. His indigo hair was messy, sticking out behind his head, and thin, tired-looking eyes, partially covered by his bangs, with his shoulders hunched, and looking to the side, as if trying to avoid making eye-contact with the class. Unlike his two classmates, his school uniform was a little unkempt, wear his tie slightly loosened and his shirt only partially tucked in.
There was a tense moment of silence
"The best of the Hero Course." Sero said.
"The Big3." Kirishima added.
"Oh wow." Mina gasped excitedly.
"Of all the talented students here, they're the ones at the top." Iida said.
"They're on a different level, still in school but practically Pro Heroes." Momo said.
"Sounds like someone else we know in our own class." Todoroki said, looking right at Kaen.
"If they're as good as I hear, then they're the students we should be chasing after." Jiro stated.
"They don't look all that special to me, except the girl, she's pretty hot." Kaminari said.
"Typical response from the pervert of the class." Kaen sighed.
"Get to it, introduce yourselves briefly." Aizawa stated. "Let's start with Amajiki."
The edgy looking student gave what looked like an intense stare at the class, intimidating most of them, except for Kaen, as he got a read of his true nature from the Ki his Sempai gave off.
'He may be giving off an edgy tough guy appearance and air to him, but in reality…' Kaen thought.
"I can't do it." Amajiki said, turning around and putting his head against the wall. "It's no good. You two go, I can't do it."
'He's as shy and anxious in front of crowds as they come.' Kaen finished with a slight chuckle.
"Even if I try and imagine them as potatoes, I can see their human bodies. I know that they're still people. No words are coming out, my minds blank, and my mouth is dry." Amajiki stated, his body shaking in fear.
"Is he okay?" Mina asked.
"He's got glossophobia." Kaen said.
"An' that one alien student. I am extremely terrified of him, especially when I have no clue what his full skill set is." Amajiki added. "I can't say anything. I wanna… go home."
"Okay, so um… are you really one of U.A's top heroes?" Ojiro questioned.
"Might be hard to believe, but he is." Kaen affirmed. "An' I'm not that scary."
"Come on Amajiki." The girl said with a giggle. "You need to have the heart of a lion, not a kitten. You know, even though you're human. Get what I mean?"
"Looks like it's her turn." Kaen smiled.
"This is our kitten, Tamaki Amajiki. An' hi, my name is Nejire Hado." She smiled, introducing her classmate and herself. "I'm supposed to talk about Work Studies. You first years have a really exciting time ahead of you."
"Everyone, be prepared to be bombarded." Kaen said.
"Hey wait, hold on, why are you wearing a mask? Is it cause you're feeling sick, or just… trying to look cool?" Nejire asked spotting Shoji.
"How'd you know she was gonna bombard us with questions?" Kirishima asked Kaen.
"You can tell a lot about a person from their Ki. Hers feels sort of inquisitive, like a scholar, hungry for knowledge lives in that brain of hers." Kaen explained as Nejire went on to ask the others questions, before she got up in his face.
"So you're the Saiyan I've heard so much about. Wow, you look really strong, and you're able to take on blonde hair and blue eyes, looking just like All Might in his prime. Are you a pure blooded alien, or are you half human with All Might's blood running through your veins?" Nejire questioned.
"I'm a pure blooded alien, and that transformation is called, Super Saiyan. I'm a literal living legend, as the Super Saiyan, is supposed to be nothing more then myth among the Saiyans, or the few that remain that is." Kaen stated.
"Ashido, if your horns break off, you think you'll grow new ones? Oh and can you wiggle them?" Nejire questioned, shifting her attention from Kaen to Mina. "What was it like, going from human to alien? Did it feel weird, was it naughty? Are you currently carrying alien babies?"
"Alright that's enough talk about my love life with my boyfriend, thank you." Mina said, her face flushed with embarrassment.
"Oh, oh. Asui, you're a tree frog, not a gross toad right?" Nejire questioned Tsu. "Oh my goodness, there's so much I wanna know about every one of you. Let's have a Q and A."
"Total space case, but still so innocent." Kaen sighed, blushing himself about her questions towards Mina. "She is the exact opposite of Amajiki."
"Though I think Aizawa's reaching his limits with her." Kirishima said, pointing to Mr. Aizawa, and the red aura surrounding him.
"Hey Ojiro, can you support your entire body weight with that tail of yours?" Nejire asked.
"Uh, well you see…"
"Come on tell me, I really wanna know." Nejire said.
"This is completely irrational." Aizawa said.
"Oh, there's no need for you to worry Eraser Head." The blonde said.
"Who's he?" Sero asked.
"Mirio Togata. Class Rep of Class 3-A, as well as the strongest of the Big3." Kaen said. "He also happens to be the test subject for Athena's Quirk Erasing Collar during the Support Course Practical Entrance Exam."
"Oh, so you're her brother I've heard so much about. Never would have thought she or her family would be aliens, or have a familial bond to All Might." Mirio stated. "Nice to meet you all, as your Class Rep said, my name is Mirio Togata, and I am here to tell you all about how Work Studies differ from internships."
"Athena also told me, you're quite the joker. So I came prepared for your lame puns." Kaen said, putting earplugs in.
"Take those out." Aizawa said, glaring at him.
"Fine." Kaen said. "But don't blame me when the class all turn to stone from his puns."
"Ouch, right in the tenders." Mirio laughed standing at the podium. "Okay, you guys look like you have no idea what's going on. I guess we are third years who just showed up in your classroom, to explain a program that's completely voluntary. I can see how you'd be confused by that. You guys got your provisional licenses as first years, right? This batch of new students has proven to be pretty darn energetic. So the problem is, you must not have a sense of humor, that's why my joke didn't land."
"What joke? You literally didn't tell us one when you began talking." Kaen questioned.
"Don't do it." Amajiki said, knowing what Togata was going for.
"Heads up, the rad new plan, is all you first years fight me at once." Togata said.
"You wanna fight us?" Kirishima questioned.
"Like, right now?" Sero asked.
"Well if you want them to experience our experience, then this is a pretty rational way to go about it, am I right?" Togata asked. "Right Eraser Head? Rational."
"Do whatever you want." Aizawa said.
"An' with that, it's my cue to leave." Kaen said, getting up from his seat. "Not to brag, but this is for those who haven't had experience fighting alongside pro's and I've been doing that since I was eleven. So, I'm gonna head to the Support Course."
"What for?" Aizawa asked.
"I'm needing to talk with Athena and her team. Specifically her teammates." Kaen stated.
"Fine, you're exempt from participating." Aizawa said.
"Let me know how it goes." Kaen said. "An' Kirishima, we need to talk later."
"Right." The redhead said nervously.
"Aw, but I wanted to see the alien in action in person." Nejire whined.
Exiting the class, Kaen made his way to the area of the school where the Support Course students would be, but on his way, he stopped and moved his head to the side, to dodge an attack. Looking at the window, he spotted what looked like a purple grape colored ball. Turning around, Kaen saw that the one who threw that attack was rather on the short side in stature, and someone he hadn't seen since the start of the year.
"Oh hey, Mineta right? Care to explain why you just tried using your Quirk on me?" Kaen asked, putting his Scouter Sunglasses on. Since the ambush on him that day during the outing, he'd made sure to keep them on him at all times.
"Get the hell out of my school, and off my planet you fucking invader scum." Mineta said, his lisp making it hard to actually take him seriously. (Not a jab at anyone with a lisp, just a jab at Mineta. I hate the little bastard.)
"Of course." Kaen sighed. "Look I'm not here, to cause trouble. I'm here to get my hero license, and become a hero. You're acting out of fear and a lack of understanding, which is something I get, but I already had a group of assholes attack me a few days ago, with intent to kill me. So if you don't mind, I'm gonna…"
Kaen stopped when he tried raising his foot, but couldn't remove it from the ground, and tripped falling to the ground.
"What the?" He questioned, looking at the ground to see, what looked like a pancake with the same coloration as the ball Mineta threw at him.
"Haha, you can't run now alien scum. I managed to flatten one of my balls and use it to trap you." Mineta said proudly. "There's no way you're getting out of…"
Mineta was stopped, when Kaen just slipped his shoe right off the flattened Quirk.
"You were saying?" The Saiyan asked, picking himself up and dusting off his blazer.
"H-how?" Mineta was stunned.
"I used some Ki on the bottom of my shoe to char the surface of your flattened ball, allowing for me to slip off it pretty easily." Kaen explained. "Look, that's twice now you've used your Quirk on me. I could have used my power against you, after the first time, but I chose not to since you're a fellow student. But I'm giving you fair warning, use your Quirk on me one more time, and I will act on the authority given to me, by my provisional license."
Turning away from the stunned grape head, Kaen continued making his way to the Support Course building. Once at the girls workshop though, Kaen glared when he found several students standing outside the doors, all of them none too happy, and for apparently good reason.
"Leave our planet you alien scum." One of the students called out.
"Go back to where you came from."
"We don't want you here."
"The hell's going on out here?" Kaen questioned, grabbing their attention as he stood behind the mob of students.
"Look, it's another of those alien freaks." One of the students said.
"We're protesting against the school's decision to allow you and your sister to keep attending this school."
"We want you off our planet, and we want you to never come back."
"An' is that your call to make?" Kaen questioned. "Athena and I, have been living on Earth since before we were even six months old, before we were even a month old in fact. Our home world was destroyed by someone who oppressed our people. Our entire lives, Athena and I have done everything in our power to rewrite what it means to be a Saiyan."
"What about the attack during the provisional licensing exams? I bet you staged the whole thing, just to make yourselves seem like the good guys."
"Frostita had attacked, because she was attracted to my power. If it hadn't been for that, she would have started off conquering this planet in another location. While it is unfortunate that we lost so many lives that day, we were fortunate that she was smart enough to try and take me out of the picture, before starting her conquest." Kaen stated. "In the end, all the students there made it out because of me. Would you be willing to face them and their families, saying I shouldn't have been there, and allowed them to die?"
That seemed to shut up the students, as they pondered over what he said.
"I get that you're all scared of what me and my sister can do." Kaen said. "But there is a bigger threat then Frostita coming, and unfortunately I am your best shot at disposing of it. So please, hold back on your judgement until I've ensured this planet's survival."
Making his way through the silenced crowd, Kaen opened the doors to the workshop, before closing them behind him, greeting the four girls inside.
"Kaen, you're here." Ruby smiled. "That crowd out there was really scary."
"Yeah, guess they aren't taking too well the news of aliens being among them." Jenny said.
"You three seem surprisingly calm about all this though." Athena said skeptically.
"To be honest, we already knew." Ruby stated.
"Since when?" Athena gasped.
"Jenny and Ruby have known since the pool party the day after the Sports Festival, I've actually known since before then." Mei clarified.
"Meaning?"
"She broke into the shed during one of her visits to the house before Fujio destroyed it." Kaen stated.
"Of course she did." Athena sighed. "Kaen, why did you tell Ruby and Jenny about us?"
"It mainly had to do with the painting of Wukong." Kaen said. "But, Mina had kinda set it up to where we'd have some, adult fun at the end."
"Kaen." Ruby blushed.
"Excuse me?"
"Hold on, we didn't do anything. After the painting matter, we just binged the MCU movies." Kaen stated.
"How many did Mina bring along for the orgy?"
"Uh well… aside from Mina there were eight girls. Supposedly Izumi was part of the list though. But nothing happened that night." Kaen said.
"Good thing too." Athena sighed. "I already accepted the fact Eri's my niece now, but I don't need a bunch of nieces and nephews on the way from a marital orgy."
"What's this now?" Jenny asked.
"The act of… intercourse between two people in Saiyan culture, is basically a marriage ceremony." Kaen stated. "If we'd gone through with Mina's original plans, and Izumi had been there, then I'd have ten wives about now, some probably expecting their first child."
"Then I guess none of that happened, and the entire list wasn't there." Ruby said.
"Speaking of, there's something we need to discuss between me, and those on the list Mina approved of with Jiro." Kaen said. "Meet me at Gym Gamma after school let's out. I'll be having Mina let the others know to do the same."
"Speaking of school, why aren't you in class right now?" Athena asked.
"The class is being given a demonstration by one of the Big3, about how Work Studies differ from Internships. Basically they're gonna get their asses kicked by Mirio Togata." Kaen said. "I'm not there, because I already know what the difference is."
"Your class is facing off against Togata?" Athena asked, reaching under her workshop counter and pulling up a briefcase. "Then why wouldn't you take the chance to fight him?"
"Because I just said I don't need to experience what the rest of my class is experiencing with him kicking their asses." Kaen said.
"Kaen, he does his Work Studies at Nighteye's agency." Athena stated. "You could have used him to get in contact with Uncle Sasaki."
"Why would I need to since I can just call him?" Kaen asked.
"Don't you remember the case he was having you help on?" Athena questioned. "He had you help with investigating into the Shie Hassaikai."
"Right." Ruby gasped in realization. "An' who's in charge of the Hassaikai right now?"
"Chisaki." Jenny stated.
"Though it's highly unlikely that he's been involved. I've never seen him at Uncle Sasaki's agency once. An' you know how I feel about him since he broke the family's trust, and cut ties with dad." Kaen said. "I'm hesitant to even call him."
"But?" Athena asked.
"Why do you think there's gonna be a, but?"
"Because I know you bro." Athena stated. "You're not gonna let something like this stop you from doing what's right."
Kaen just looked at Athena before he sighed in annoyance.
"But Uncle Sasaki might be my best chance at finding Overhaul's base. Mecheal managed to get the address, but there's no telling if that's just a decoy house Fujio was taken too, or their actual base." Kaen sighed in defeat, knowing Athena was right.
"I knew it." Athena smiled.
"Kaen, are you gonna let your pride get in the way of doing what's right for Eri?" Ruby asked.
"No. I had planned on giving him a call and talking to him. I just don't feel comfortable doing it since I already wasted so much of my time building that case for his sorry ass." Kaen said, before noticing the case Athena pulled out. "What's with the case?"
"Since I still haven't given you a coronation gift, we'll call this it." Athena said, turning the case around and showing him, that inside of it, were five leather wristbands, two on each of the raised case platforms, and one in the main case of the container, each with a different color and all with blank metal tags on them, with plenty room for more, and a pouch on the underside of the lid.
"What are these?" Kaen asked holding the silver wristband.
"I call these Quirk Bands." Athena said. "Each of the four, holds a specially modified Quirk, to fit your fighting style, and for long ranged attacks that you could adapt to use. The metal tags, are for you to inscribe a label on them to keep the tags organized."
"But there are five." Kaen said.
"The lone band in the bottom of the case, is special." Athena began to explain. "It has a unique copy of Xerox in it, and the pouch on the underside of the case has Duplication Void, capable of producing more blank Quirk Bands for you to make. The Xerox band in the case, can only copy, and upgrade the Quirks you grab with it, no stealing, and no erasing. You can merge more then one or two together to make an even more powerful Quirk, but the programming mods I made for this version of my Quirk, will only allow you to create those Quirks, so long as they're not used for evil."
"What Quirks do I have with these?" Kaen inquired.
"The silver band, allows you to use an upgraded Quirk Lady Nagant." Athena said. "The only differences being, you can shoot from greater distances, and you don't need to turn your hair into bullets. You can just use your Ki, and it'll solidify into a crystal bullet before firing."
"How'd you get Lady Nagant's Quirk? I thought she was in Tartarus for murdering a corrupt member of the Heroes Public Safety Commission?" Kaen asked.
"I've had a copy of her Quirk since before that when dad took us to the Safety Commission after the All-for-One incident that happened." Athena said. "She helped me learn to properly control it. So despite what the public might think, I believe she did what was right by taking out that corrupt agent."
"You can't be serious." Kaen said.
"I'm not saying I agree with the method, just the reason." Athena stated. "They were having her murder innocent and non-innocent people indiscriminately, without giving them a chance to reform themselves. So be careful, or they might come recruiting you for having that Quirk next."
"What about the other three?" Kaen asked.
"The blue one has Togata's Quirk, I copied it from him after the exams let out and I thanked him for being my volunteer. I was surprised to find he was okay with me copying his Quirk." Athena said. "His Quirk's Permeation. He can travel through any solid matter so long as he keeps his focus. I've modded the Quirk to where it can work with your Ki control. An' it wasn't easy to do, let me tell you. All you have to do to use Permeation, is course your Ki through any part of your body you want to make intangible during a fight."
"Alright I think I can manage that."
"The trade off is still the same though, you have to hold your breath to avoid any dirt of stuff from entering your lungs as you travel through solid matter." Athena said. "The green one unlocks your primal side. Basically I modified the White Tiger portion of the Quirk I made for Eri, to unlock a Saiyans inner primal nature. But it's only meant to be used as a last resort, an ace in the hole if you would."
"I don't think that would be needed, I'm the Legendary Super Saiyan remember?"
"About that. There's something about your Super Saiyan form, that doesn't make sense to me." Athena said.
"What do you mean?" Kaen asked as Ruby brought over a white board, with illustrations on it.
"According to the legends, the Super Saiyan was a monster of a warrior, stronger then the Gods, with power that could theoretically rival that of Lord Beerus. But the power was too much for their body to handle, and they died from their power overloading and went off like a bomb, after going insane." Athena said.
"That… does seem like something that should have happened to me by now if I was the Super Saiyan of Legend." Kaen said. "But then, if I'm not the legendary warrior, what's with my golden hair and blue eyes?"
"I think what you actually unlocked, was a different kind of Super Saiyan. One that's more accessible and common to our people, but the technique for how to unlock it, was lost to time, until there was no one left alive who knew the methods on how to unlock this transformation." Athena explained, pointing to each illustration on the board with her laser pointer.
"In other words, a transformation that's a watered down version of the Legendary form itself." Kaen said.
"But with more than enough power to defeat Frieza." Athena pointed out.
"That does make sense actually." Kaen said. "What about the last band, the red one?"
"That one… that one is something to try and avoid, it's a nuclear option." Athena stated. "How it works is a one time thing. It utilizes Eri's old Rewind Quirk, but with a very specific purpose."
"What's it do?"
~Later on the Flying Fortress~
"So… what did you wanna talk to me about, all the way up here man?" Kirishima asked, looking around the town square of the city in the middle of the flying fortress, a bit nervous while dressed in a black tank top, and a pair of jeans with sneakers. "An' why'd you want me in clothes I could easily move around in?"
"Show me." Kaen said, standing across from Kirishima. "Show me what you had Athena do to you."
"Show you what? What are you talking about?"
"You wanna play games huh? Fine." Kaen sighed, before vanishing from Kirishima's sight.
The red head was shocked, thinking Kaen left him for dead to face off against the flying fortress's defenses, before he realized he wasn't being attacked. That however changed when Kaen appeared behind him, and grabbed Kirishima by something from the small of his back, and caused him to freeze, as Kaen pulled on a brown furred tail, causing the red head to fall to the ground.
"I knew it. You had Athena turn you into a Saiyan, even though I said to wait, didn't you?" Kaen questioned.
"Damn it… how'd you know?" Kirishima asked, trying to pick himself up.
"As I said earlier in class, you can tell a lot about a person based on their Ki." Kaen stated letting go of Kirishima's tail. "For instance, your Ki for the last couple days didn't feel human. It felt Saiyan. When did you have Athena do this to you?"
"T-the day you went off to confront Ashido's dad." Kirishima said picking himself up. "I didn't plan it, but I thought even if Athena and I never got together, I could still help you out and become a Saiyan to increase the numbers of your people. I guess our people now."
"You're an idiot." Kaen sighed in annoyance. "But you're an idiot with a big heart."
"Thanks, I think."
"Look, just be careful. Now that you're a Saiyan, you can't be out at night during the full moon, unless you cut off your tail." Kaen said.
"Athena already gave me the rundown on the cons to being a Saiyan to try and deter me, but I didn't cave." Kirishima said.
"So long as you're aware." Kaen stated.
"Kaen, we're here." Mina called, gathered with all the girls on the harem list.
"Whoa, what's with all the girls?" Kirishima asked. "Wait, is Athena here too?"
"Athena's gonna be doing some archaeological work in the throne room of the main building of the fortress, while I'm gonna have a chat with everyone with Mina." Kaen explained. "Also, I'm giving you an ultimatum. Either ask Athena out before sunset, or I'm gonna have her turn you back into a human."
"What?" Kirishima asked.
"I know you dude. You're gonna be too nervous to even attempt asking her out, so you'll procrastinate, unless I give you an ultimatum like this one, so you're gonna be accompanying her to the throne room." Kaen said, before Athena came up to them.
"Ready to head out Kirishima?" Athena asked.
"Uh, yeah I'm ready when you are." Kirishima smiled.
"Great." Athena said, putting a bag of equipment in his arms. "Be careful with those. That equipment is very expensive."
"Right." Kirishima said.
"One other thing." Kaen stopped them. "What other things did Athena make to your body?"
"The only other thing she did was change the color of my hair." Kirishima stated. "I no longer need to dye it. I'm an actual redhead now."
"So long as she didn't change anything else. Now get going." Kaen said.
"Yeah-yeah, you're not our boss you know."
"Technically I am, since I'm the one paying you to do this. Ruby, Mei, and Jenny will join you in a sec." Kaen said.
"Kaen, not to alarm you, but we have a bit of a last minute entry to the harem." Mina said.
"Harem?" Kirishima questioned with a blush.
"Just get going." Kaen stated.
"Come one Kiri, I wanna get everything at least set up before sunset." Athena said, dragging Kirishima by the back of his shirt.
"Kiri?" Kaen inquired.
"Apparently she gave him a nickname when they hung out at the sleepover after the USJ incident." Mina said.
"First I'm hearing of it." Kaen said.
"So Kaen. What exactly did you wanna talk to us about?" Momo asked, grabbing his attention.
"Are you gonna decide to make us your harem? It's about time." Yang said.
"I know, I'm so excited and nervous." Ruby stated.
"Well, that's the thing I need to talk to you all about. But first, who's the newcomer to the group?" Kaen asked, looking at Mina.
"New comers. There's at least a few of them, and at least two of them are from Shiketsu High." Mina stated. "Alright girls, come on out."
"Great." Kaen sighed, looking up only to freeze.
There were at least five new girls who came out from the group. The first one was Athena's classmate Winry, wearing a black tube top, wearing daisy dukes, with a jacket tied around her waist, and black bandanna with white stripes on the sides, tied around her right arm.
The second of the newcomers was a student he recognized from Class-B, and there was no mistaking her vine like hair, as it was Ibara Shiozaki, dressed in a spaghetti strap top that held in a pair of F-Cups, a skirt that reached her knees, and a pair of sandals on her feet.
The third to come was a young woman of an average build with dark hair, with ear-length bangs that are arched slightly up before they come down, with the rest of her hair styled into a set of low, curved pigtails. She had thin, stern-looking eyes with notable lower eyelashes, dressed in her PE clothes, with a top holding in what looked like a E-Cup chest. Kaen swore he'd seen her somewhere before, but couldn't remember where.
The fourth to come was a pale-skinned young woman with pale blue eyes and long white hair pulled back into an off-center bun tail on the right side and pinned with an icicle-shaped tiara. A crooked scar runs vertically down her left eye and face, wearing an icy blue sleeveless top over a D-Cup chest, with white shorts and low heel pump sandals. Around he neck, she wore an apple pendant, that looked like it was made of a real expensive material.
The final person to step forward was slender, and a bit taller then the previous girl, with long black hair, and golden ember eyes with cat ears, and a tail on her body. She wore a sports bra that held in an H-Cup chest, and a pair of black tights under purple shorts, with martial arts runners.
"Kaen, you already know Winry and Shiozaki. But these three are Chikuchi Togeike, Weiss Schnee, and Blake Belladonna." Mina introduced.
"Togeike I recognize, she's in the General Studies class right?"
"Y-yeah I am." Togeike said.
"You two… I don't recognize." Kaen said, looking at Weiss and Blake.
"Well, there were a lot of people at the Provisional Licensing exams." Blake said.
"An' you did kinda keep to yourself when we were all gathered for the second portion of the exams." Weiss huffed.
"Tsundere much?" Kaen asked.
"Excuse you?" Weiss asked as Winry laughed.
"So, before we begin, what exactly made you five fall for me?" Kaen asked, sitting on the inactive fountain.
"Why don't I start us off?" Winry reccomended.
~Kirishima and Athena~
"Alright, I can see why Kaen wanted us to examine this stuff." Athena said, her eyes glued on the Petroglyph.
"It… kinda reminds me of Kaen." Kirishima said, looking at it in equal shock.
"Well, let's get to work on setting up our research station." Athena said, putting up a light post.
"What are we gonna use to power all the equipment?" Kirishima asked.
"We'll be using this." Athena said, pulling a cube, with multiple three pronged outlets connected to it. "I got the blueprints for an Arc Reactor from the curator at the Hero Museum on I-Island and made this with it. This one's meant to power the lights all over the room. The rest of our equipment doesn't require an outlet unless we're needing to charge the batteries for the drones we'll be using for video recording."
"Not bad." Kirishima said, plugging the light in and brightening up the space. Once the space was brightened up however, Kirishima saw something around Athena's neck. "Athena, what happened to your neck?"
"Oh these?" Athena asked, putting a hand to the scars on the right side of her neck. "Seryuu happened."
"The student who got expelled by Mr. Power Loader on the first day?" Kirishima asked.
"She thought that it was my fault she got expelled, because I said her actual last name when confronting her about how she was trying to egg me on to leave. So, she tried strangling me, and when I used a Ki blast to knock her off, she sliced my neck with her claw like nails." Athena explained. "Saiyans have thicker skin then humans, and we've evolved to where our vital organs are protected by a sort of armor like membrane, so even though these cuts were pretty deep, my jugular was unscathed, but these scars won't go away, not even as time goes on."
"This is the first I'm noticing them." Kirishima said.
"I tend to keep these scars hidden by my hair. So don't worry, it's not a big deal." Athena explained. "Now, let's get back to setting up the equipment."
~Kaen and Mina~
"Alright… I've heard all your reasons for falling for me, but… that just makes what I have to say all the harder to say." Kaen sighed, a gloomy miasma falling over him.
"Kaen, just say what's on your mind." Mina said.
"Right." Kaen said. "First off. I'm extremely flattered that so many of you are interested in me, however I don't wanna pull you all along in an unfair relationship, even if that might be something you're into." This little statement got all of them to blush as they were not expecting him to say something like that. "So here's why I have to say. I cannot accept all of you, I can accept one, maybe two at most, to live alongside Mina and I in the future."
"You weren't kidding when you said what you had to say would be hard." Mina said.
"What's so hard about it?" Yang asked.
"I agree. All he has to do is pick two of us to be his lovers." Weiss said.
"It's not that simple." Mina stated. "Kaen might be a powerful fighter, but he's a gentle soul. He tries his best to avoid hurting anyone either physically, or emotionally, if he can help it. So the difficult part, is having to hurt thirteen of you, while only two remain."
"I get it." Winry said. "He wants to avoid hurting us as much as possible, but that's a near impossible task."
"So, what do you propose we do to decide who the two will remain?" Ruby asked.
"Well… I have an idea." Blake said.
"What's your idea?" Mina asked, this also drawing Kaen's attention to her.
"How about, instead of having to choose between us who stays and who goes, why not just make a schedule for splitting up your time evenly?" Blake suggested.
"Huh?" Kaen asked. "Okay first off, I don't think that could work very well, and secondly I'd need to administer a form for having romantic relations for more then 10 girls, and there are fifteen of you."
"So? I can get that taken care of for you easy." Weiss said. "The Schnee Family has ties to the government, so I can easily get that form filled out."
"Okay, first off. Before any of that happens, let's get a few things straight here." Kaen stated. "Firstly, for those of you who might wanna get a little frisky in the relationship, know that the act of intercourse, in Saiyan Culture, is the equivalent to a marriage ceremony, so if I'm to do it with anyone first, it's gonna be Mina, as she's the one I've been with the longest. Second, in order to thin things out a bit, I should at least take you out on a date, a couple girls at a time, to see how things go, and if you're right for me. Third and final, for those of you who aren't aware, I am currently in the middle of looking for my daughter Eri, who was kidnapped, so I'm probably gonna be on edge a lot until I get her back."
"Some context for those who don't know, Kaen rescued Eri from a villain after the USJ incident, and had legally adopted her as his own. That villain has kidnapped her, and Kaen can't get her back, not while he only has a provisional license, and speculation to show authorities to try and authorize the raid on the villains base." Mina explained.
"Another thing." Kaen said. "Sometime after graduation, I plan on leaving this planet, and looking for other Saiyan Survivors."
"Leaving the planet?" Mei asked.
"That's another reason why I can't take all of you as lovers, I'm not wanting to put you through leaving all your families and friends behind." Kaen stated. "It wouldn't be fair to you. Mina's already agreed to it, since her mother said she wouldn't mind coming along with us."
"Then what do you propose we do to decide who stays and who goes?" Weiss inquired.
"I don't know." Kaen said. "I honestly can't think of a method that won't leave you all in shambles, and your hearts in broken pieces."
"Best course I think would be, going on a few dates, and see who is most compatible with Kaen." Mina said.
"That sounds like a bad reality sitcom." Tsu said.
"It's the best option we've got though." Uraraka said. "We might end up heartbroken in the end, but at least we'll know he still cares."
"Midoriya, you've been awfully quiet through this whole discussion. So what's your take on it?" Yang asked.
"Well… I honestly think that we should trust Kaen's judgement on this." Izumi said. "I've known him since we were little, and to be honest, it has crossed my mind on more then one occasion to ask him out on a date. But I never really had the courage to do so."
"Because your Quirk developed so late?" Uraraka asked. "If you've known him for so long, then you know he wouldn't have turned you down just because you had been labeled as Quirkless before your powers developed."
"Still, I think we should do the date thing. Two of us go on a date with him at a time, and at the end of the week, he decides which of us stays or goes." Momo said.
"Mina will decide that." Kaen said getting to his feet. "I wouldn't be able to choose, so we'd be left at square one. An' to make sure she's able to decide fairly, then I think it'd be best if she joined in on the date."
"Sounds fair to me." Jiro said.
"Alright, so let's draw lots to see who'll go on the first date with me and Kaen." Mina said, pulling a can of popsicle sticks from her Duplication Void. "It's basically gonna be one big game of, King. But instead of one winner, it's gonna be two. An' those who won in the first round, will stand to the side for the next, and so on and so forth."
"What have I gotten myself into?" Kaen questioned with a sigh.
