Tally screamed as she watched the storm carry Sarah and the witchplague away, pounding on the glowing light she had erected to keep them all safe. And as the storm disappeared and the sky cleared up with no sign of Sarah anywhere the glowing wall flickered gently and then faded completely and Tally fell to her knees.

The emotional distress coursing through her leveled her to the ground, resting her head on the dirt as she stared to where Sarah once stood. She reached out as if to try and grasp the image of her in her mind's eye.

"Sarah, come back. You can't leave me. I was supposed to save you. Sarah, please..."

As her vision blurred with tears and darkness crept into her vision she heard Raelle and Abigail yell her name and warm arms wrap around her as she let the inviting darkness pull her under.

When next she awoke it was in the infirmary, she woke screaming and lashing out and calling for Sarah. So they had to sedate her to give her time to heal and rest.

The next time she woke up she still felt a little groggy but this time she didn't wake up screaming. She just laid there and silently cried. But the biddies, the girls, the most interesting thing had happened. When Sarah disappeared, they were released. They had no idea how but all of them were back to looking the ages they were really meant to be. Sarah's years had fallen off them.

But they felt the loss of her immensely. They came to see Tally and they all cried with her for her. Although their bond wasn't as strong as Tally's was with her they all felt the loss of each other's minds and hers. Who knew if they'd ever be the same again, having gone through such a traumatic experience. They all had known her, the part that she kept hidden. And they understood and they accepted her.

How could the biddy link be severed for all of them without them dying or detangling the connection such as Izadora had done for Tally?

Tally didn't care really. All she cared about was Sarah. And now Sarah was gone leaving her all alone. When she was released from the infirmary she went straight to their bedroom. She shook off Raelle and Abigail's offers to stay with her but she refused, for now she just wanted to be alone.

She couldn't accept that Sarah was dead because she still felt her in her heart, their connection was there. The biddies, ex-biddies, they didn't feel anything anymore. Tally was determined to find her and bring her home.

For now she changed into one of Sarah's shirts and wrapped herself up in their blankets that still smelt of her and she stared at the painting of her that rested on the wall and Tally let herself cry. She couldn't help but feel that this too was all her fault. If she hadn't been out there to begin with Sarah wouldn't have gotten hurt, they wouldn't have gotten stuck out there with the Camarilla and Sarah wouldn't have had to sacrifice herself like that.

Sarah's suffering was once again because of her. Tally wondered if a person could die from a broken heart.

Tally had no appetite for food and she wanted no visitors. She didn't want anyone to come into their room and take away something else that was just theirs. On the second day she could've sworn she had woken up to Sarah humming to her from the foot of the bed. Tally looked up through puffy eyes and Sarah smiled at her, "Are you going to stay in bed all day, sleepyhead? I know, how about we play hide and seek? I'll go hide and you seek me out. You'll get a prize if you find me."

"Sarah, what-how?"

But then Tally was waking up in their bed, with no Sarah to be found, so it had just been a dream. Or had it? She felt a pulsing in her chest which was more than her own. Sitting up she placed a hand over her beating heart which caused a golden light to glow from it.

Upon whispering Sarah's name the golden light shot from her chest straight out like an arrow. Tally stood on shaky legs and no matter where she moved it pointed in a certain direction.

Like a compass. Tally knew it was pointing to Sarah. She scrambled to get dressed despite her hungry stomach and her shaky legs. Throwing on Sarah's jacket which had been retrieved from the site of the attack she ran to find her unit.

After she explained things to them they looked at her skeptical as she tried to eat some food for the first time in a few days.

"Guys, I'm being serious, I can see it. It's like a compass and I just know it's pointing me to Sarah."

Abigail looked at her sadly, "Honey, we know you're being serious but we can't go looking for her when we have no concrete evidence. Only you can see it."

Tally huffed at them before standing up, "So what you're saying is I've made this all up out of grief?"

"I said nothing like that, Tally. I'm just saying we should do some research before we go on a wild goose chase."

Raelle came up and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, "She's right, Tal, besides you need to get your strength back."

How do I make them see? Sarah what do I do?

The panic rose in her until a calming voice echoed in her mind that sounded like Sarah. As she began to calm down a bright light erupted from her and projected a map in the air around them, this time they all could see. A dot blinking on the map, "There, right there, she's in the Cession! I have to go to her, she's calling me."

"Whoa, Tally, okay we can't just go off to the Cession. We have to go to my mom about this."

The light faded and Tally looked at her sceptically, "I highly doubt your mom is going to approve of us going to get her. She wanted her gone anyways."

Abigail crossed her arms and glared at her, "And who helped her?"

"Yeah, well, I'm paying for my sins. Just as Sarah paid for hers and I'm not abandoning her. I'm going to her with or without your help."

Raelle looked between the two of them, "Listen guys can't we just talk about this?"

"There's nothing to talk about," Tally crossed her arms to mirror Abigail.

They stood in silence just glaring at each other before Tally huffed and made her way out the door and outside with the rest of her unit following behind her.

"Tally this is ridiculous, we need to talk to my mom about it first. She's the General after all."

Tally kept walking until Abigail grabbed her by the wrist which the Knower immediately yanked from her grasp, "I honestly don't care anymore Abi, I don't care about the rules and regulations. All I care about is Sarah."

When Abigail went to reach for her again to stop her from walking a glowing light surrounded Tally which prevented Abigail from touching her at all. It was like the glowing wall that Sarah had put up to protect Fort Salem. It was like a part of her was still protecting Tally like a shield.

"I have to go to her guys, even now she's protecting me," Tally looked at them with tears in her eyes. A glowing light appeared behind her like a rift and Tally knew she had to step through it, "I'm sorry guys."

Despite their pleas all Raelle and Abigail could do was watch as Tally stepped into the light and disappeared.

The next thing Tally knew she was waking up in a bed, she had no idea where she was. She remembers walking through the light and leaving behind Fort Salem but she had no idea what happened after that.

"Oh, good you're awake. We've been expecting you," a elderly woman smiled at her as she came to stand by her bedside and handed her a cup of water.

Tally eyed it reluctantly but took it from her, suddenly realizing how thirsty she was from the lack of food and the constant crying from the last few days. She drank it down until it was empty.

"Who are you and where am I?"

The woman took the empty cup and walked away to refill it, coming back and placing it on the bedside table for Tally, "My name is Judy. And I believe Sarah Alder ended up here by accident. We know full well who she is and had no problem in taking her in. Although she seems to have lost her memories. Said she could only remember the name Tally."

Tally looked at her with those big brown doe eyes filled with tears, "That's me, I'm Tally. Where is she?"

"She's out, she'll be back soon. We found you laying in the middle of the street and when we saw your military metal we had a feeling you might be the one she was talking about. Or at the very least we could help you out of the street," the older woman giggled to herself, "Are you hungry? I can fix you something to eat until she comes back."

"Oh, you really don't have to do that," but Tally's stomach growled loud enough for the both of them to hear.

The old woman laughed and made her way to the kitchen, returning to Tally with a bowl of soup and a PB&J sandwich and she placed them next to the cup of water.

"There's more where that came from too. Sarah's become quite fond of PB&J sandwiches. Although she couldn't hold anything down the first day, kept throwing up. Poor girl."

Tally took a bite of the sandwich with wide eyes, "Wait, she ate? Sarah hasn't eaten in like 300 years."

"Well, her stomach growled just as loud as yours just now. We've heard the stories of how she doesn't need food because of her biddies. The talk of Sarah Alder in these parts isn't unheard of, I mean the Cession is thanks to her. I'm rather surprised, where are her biddies?"

Tally munched down on the sandwich, "It's a long story but I guess she doesn't need them anymore?"

"Well, I do hope her memories come back, poor girl has been so confused and lost these past few days. Or perhaps with her history, losing her memories would be a blessing in disguise."

Tally ate up her sandwich and the soup and chugged her cup of water before sleepiness overtook her and she fell back asleep in the nice warm bed.

She woke again to a gentle humming sound close to her bed, she looked over to see Sarah sitting there flipping through a book. She was dressed in green corduroy pants and a black turtleneck, it seemed so unlike her, but her beautiful brunette hair laid down resting on her shoulders and that was still very like her.

"Ah, you're awake, how are you feeling? Sarah smiled at her warm and bright.

Tally wanted to fling herself into her arms and hug her tight but all she managed was to cry out her answer, "I can't believe I found you. I thought you were dead."

Sarah moved to sit on the bed next to her, "So you're Tally?"

She nodded as she tried to wipe the tears away, Sarah reached a hand up and helped to wipe them away. Tally gasped at the ring on her finger, it was still there, it hadn't gone anywhere. And Tally cried again as she grasped Sarah's hand and nuzzled the ring into her cheek. Sarah soon noticed the same ring on Tally's finger.

"What am I to you?"

Tally blushed and sniffled as she lowered Sarah's hand but didn't part from it, "It's complicated but simply put I'm your wife."

Sarah looked at her shocked, "Wife?" but then she laughed, "Aren't I a bit too old for you?"

Tally managed to laugh through the tears with her, "You have no idea."

Sarah stared at her for a minute with gentle eyes before they got wide and she smiled again, "Tally Craven. I just remembered your last name, Craven."

The young witch choked out a sob and couldn't resist throwing herself into the other woman's arms so she could finally feel her, make sure she was really there. And when Tally felt her wrap her up in her arms and smelt the very faint smell of cloves on her she almost felt like she was home again.

"You can cry all you want, Tally Craven. I'm right here, promise."

Tally did cry, she let it all out as she clung to her until she cried herself to sleep. And even when she woke in the middle of the night afraid it was all a dream and she was back in their bed without her she found that Sarah hadn't left her. She was still right there with her, only she moved to the otherside of the bed and slept across from her holding her hand.

Even without her memories she was still drawn to the redhead and still keeping her promises. Tally snuggled closer, yet still allowing a respectful distance so as not to make Sarah feel uncomfortable in case she woke. But Tally sighed with contentness and then fell back asleep grasping her hand tightly.
