AN from 18/09/22-
First of all I am very sorry it has taken this long to post a new chapter. I was busy with college and everything else. I have decided that I am making a change in this story by making Ash a steel type specialist and also keeping him an Aura Guardian. The Aura Guardian story feels very repetitive to me and I don't think I will be able to do something new. There are a few good stories in that storyline. I think that the steel master Aura plot is very rarely written and if it is, it's only a few chapters. Also I was frankly overwhelmed with ideas, so I am back now with a good continuity in this story.
I have written the basic outline of the Kanto Arc and which pokemon Ash will catch here.

The Fall of the Last Guardian
Unknown Location
A hooded man and a blue jackal shaped creature collapsed on the rocky surface, blood coming from where the horn had pierced his chest. He and his partner had fought with all their might but they couldn't compare to the army of the man they had been fighting for a long time. He quickly commanded his Alakazam to take the rest of his team to his family. He could only hope that his friends could escape safely and protect his precious family.
"Return Rhyperior." Said an approaching voice.
Slow footsteps approached the downed guardian, as his enemy came into his eyesight. The brown haired man was looking at him with a look of utter loathing and revulsion mixed with some amusement at the state of his arch nemesis.
"So will I be able to finally find out the identity of the Aura Guardian who has been a nuisance to my organization and my goal?" sneered the man.
The man went on to speak but was cut off by the guardian,"No you cannot find who I am. I have erased all my past. Though I will say this. I was one of your victims a long time ago. You won't get your filthy hands on my family."
"Hmmm, that is rather disappointing. I would have loved to hear your family's screams. Ah well anyway it seems kanto will be needing another saviour because today is the day you die" smirked the man.
"Y-Yo-You might kill me today but always remember I won." muttered the guardian with a tired grin.
"What are you rant-" he was cut off by the explosion which shook the land. The man's face paled which quickly turned to a thunderous one. The entire lab was destroyed and his head scientists and agents were killed because of the blasted man!
"YOU FOOL! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?" yelled the man kicking him and his partner in the stomach.
"D-D-D-Did I do something wrong?" asked the guardian between his and his partner's snickers.
"Thanks to you my plans have been delayed! " he fumed, "No matter, you will die here alone and I will go and my goals will be fulfilled in due time." declared the man. With one final look of hatred towards his enemy, he swept off towards the remains of his lab, his grunts following him.
As time passed darkness seemed to take over. Forgive me my love, my son, my friends, were the last thoughts of the man with regret as he shared a last smile with his partner, tears flowing down their faces. They gave a final breath, and their eyes lost the spark of life.
The Last Guardian was dead.

I am finally back after a very long time and it will stay that way hopefully. I will be making minor changes in all the eight chapters, so they will come out immediately after I have edited them.
My aim is to post at least one chapter a week. I have almost written the next(new) chapter while travelling. So if that happens you might get weekly updates.
Also suggest something new for the Orange Islands.
