Author's note.
Only two Dark Signers left. This time, it's Kelsey and Akiza vs Misty. This fight however, will play out differently then the anime did. Don't worry, Sayer's still gonna be in this, but he's gonna get his manhood kicked in. But, here's the question for this chapter, very similar to the last one; if there was a structure, rarity, or booster box for this series, what would it be called? Let me know in the comments.
Chapter 12
Truth or Consequences
Mina, Akiza and Kelsey arrived at an old, abandoned amusement park. THIS was where the final control tower, Ccarahyua, was.
"Great", said Kelsey sarcastically. "Creepy old amusement park. This is a horror movie just WAITING to happen".
"Relax Kelsey", said Akiza. "I've duelled Misty before".
"Did you win?" Asked Kelsey.
"It was undecided" answered Akiza.
"Well that make me feels LOADS better" said Kelsey sarcastically. They walked through the old amusement park looking for where Misty was hiding.
'Where are you Misty?' Wondered Akiza.
"MISTY!" Shouted Kelsey. This caused Mina and Akiza jump out of their skin
"Give me a heart attack why don't ya?!" Shouted Akiza.
"If you did, then that would mean I came all this way for nothing" said a voice. Kelsey, Akiza and Mina then looked to the house of mirrors to see someone familiar in one of the mirrors.
"Misty" said Akiza.
"Nice to see you again, Black Rose" said Misty mockingly.
"You're one of two Dark Signers left", said Kelsey. "Why don't you just give up so you can save yourself the humiliation".
"Now where's the fun in that?", asked Misty. "Why don't ya face me in my hall of mirrors? And tell that secretary to wait outside while we play".
"I am MORE than just a secretary" corrected Mina.
"Oh, sorry", said Misty sarcastically. "Are you the maid as well?". Her reflection then disappeared.
"I don't like her" said Mina.
"Hey Akiza", said Kelsey. "Let's give this supermodel a makeover".
"Gladly" said Akiza.
They then walked into the house of mirrors while Mina stayed outside.
"Alright Misty", said Kelsey. "We're here". The large mirror in front of them then showed Misty.
"Well, look at this", said Misty. "It seems as though the Black Rose has a friend. Try not to lose this one like you did with my brother Toby".
"I didn't even know you HAD a brother", said Akiza. "You can't blame for something I had no idea about".
"Talk about holding a grudge" said Kelsey.
"But enough talk", said Misty. "You know why you're here".
"Yeah, to beat you" said Akiza.
"And I'm gonna help" said Kelsey. They then activated their duel disks and drew their hands.
"LET'S DUEL!".
Misty: 4000
Akiza: 4000
Kelsey: 4000
"The first move is mine", said Misty as she drew the top card of her deck. "I activate the Mirror Labyrinth field spell". The entire area then turned into a large collection of mirrors and the mirrors then separated Akiza and Kelsey.
"Whoa!", shouted Kelsey. "Akiza! What's going on?".
"She some how separated us using the field spell" said Akiza.
"Quite right", said Misty. "Why go through the trouble of taking on two opponents that could combine their powers, when I can separate them. Also, thanks to this spell, level 4 or below monsters I control can attack twice. Next, I play the spell card, Sad Story Sorrowful Memories. Now, every time we draw a monster during our draw phase, it is immediately returned to our deck".
"Great", said Kelsey sarcastically. "Just what I was hoping for".
"Next, I summon Reptilianne Servant" said Misty. Her new monster was a brown and pink cobra with magenta markings.

"When this guy's face up on the field", said Misty. "No player can normal summon monsters. Now, I'll end my turn".
"Then it's my move", said Akiza as she drew the top card of her deck, but she had to send it back. "I'll set a card and end my turn".
"Then it's my move", said Kelsey as she drew the top card of her deck. "I play the spell card, fissure. Now, this card destroys the monster with the highest attack points on your field. But, since you have only one monster, say adios". The ground beneath Reptilianne Servant then gave way and it sank in.
"Next comes the card, Mystical Space Typhoon", said Kelsey. "I can now destroy one spell or trap card on the field. Ya know, I hate sad stories, so why don't we change the tune?". A large gust of wind then destroyed Misty's spell card.
"Nice", said Akiza. "Now we can draw monsters again".
"And my turn's not over yet", said Kelsey. "I summon Laval Phlogis". Kelsey's new monster was a large golem made out of molten, flaming rocks that wore pieces of metal armour and carried flaming blades.

"Next, I play Laval Charcoal", said Kelsey. "Thanks to this, I can summon any level 4 or below fire monster from my deck. So, come on out! Laval Volcano Handmaiden!". Kelsey's new monster with orange skin, flaming red hair and wore an armoured dress.

"They will once I tune my level 1 Handmaiden with my level 4 Phlogis", said Kelsey performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Laval Dual Slasher!". Kelsey's new monster was a humanoid made out of red and black rocks.

"Then it's my move", said Misty drawing the top card of her deck. "I summon Reptilianne Gorgon". Misty's new monster was a reptilian woman with teal, scaly skin, wild hair and wore a magenta dress.

"Seriously", said Kelsey. "What is up with you and the snakes?".
"Snakes are like women", said Misty. "They are so alluring, but anger or scare one, they strike. Now, I activate Sad Story Unwavering Truth. Now, every time we draw a spell card during our draw phase, it is then returned to the deck".
"I don't think so", said Kelsey. "I activate the trap, Back Burner! When you activate a spell or trap card. Now, every card in your spell and trap card zone is destroyed. So it's time to put an end to your sad story". Two fireballs then destroyed the cards in her back row.
"Rgh. You are REALLY starting to get on my nerves" said Misty.
"That's kind of my goal" said Kelsey.
"Rrrrrrrrr I set one card facedown and end my turn" said Misty.
"Then it's my move", said Akiza drawing the top card of her deck. "I'll place a card facedown and end my turn".
"Is that all you can do?", asked Misty. "Even your friend has summoned a monster since the duel began". Her reflection then started to move down the mirrors and so did her monster.
"Stand and fight you scaled chicken!" Shouted Kelsey as she ran after Misty.
"Kelsey! Wait!" Shouted Akiza as she ran after Kelsey and Misty.
Meanwhile.
Yusei and the others had just arrived at the amusement park.
"This is where the final control tower is" said Yusei.
"So, what's Misty all worked up about?" Asked Emily.
"From what Mina told me", said Trudge. "Misty blames Akiza for the disappearance of her brother, Toby".
"So that's what this is all about", said April. "Well, to be fair, if any of my siblings went missing, I'd turn the whole planet upside down looking for them".
"Yeah, but you wouldn't join an evil group bent on destruction" said Crow. Candi then got an idea.
"I got an idea", she said. "Be back soon". She then glowed before she disappeared.
"Did. Did she just teleport?" Asked Leo.
"It looks like it" said Crow.
"If she could teleport", said Trudge. "Why didn't she teleport us everywhere? I could've saved a lot on gas money".
Meanwhile.
"Come on out, Misty!", shouted Kelsey. "Show your reptile but before I make you". Misty's reflection then returned.
"Looks like someone has anger issues" mocked Misty.
"I'll show you anger issues", said Kelsey. "Dual Slasher! Attack Gorgon with Singe Slash!". The blades on Dual Slashers arms then lit themselves on fire and it jumped forward and slashed Gorgon, destroying her.
Misty: 4000 - 1000 = 3000
"Haha! I always wanted a snake skin wallet" said Kelsey.
"Hmph. Well, this 'wallet' strikes back", said Misty. "When my Gorgon is destroyed, the attack points of the monster that destroyed it is reduced to 0 and it can't change it's battle position".
Laval Dual Slasher

"That doesn't concern me", said Kelsey. "I summon Laval Lakeside Lady". Kelsey's new monster was a woman with orange skin and red hair. Her most noticeable thing was that she wore a maid outfit.

"Now, I play the spell fuel to the flame", said Kelsey. "Since I have a fire monster on my field, I can target one fire monster I control increase it's level by two and it's attack by 400. So burn bright my Lakeside Lady".

"Next, I tune my level 3 Lakeside Lady with my level 5 Dual Slasher", said Kelsey performing the summon. "When you mess with her, you're playing with fire! I synchro summon! Inferno Queen!". Kelsey's new monster was a pale skinned woman that wore a red and orange royal gown encrusted with Pearls and sapphires. But her most noticeable aspect was that her hair and bottom of her dress were actually fire.

"Next, I'll place a card facedown and end my turn" said Kelsey.
"Then it's my turn", said Misty drawing the top card of her deck. "I activate continuous extra. Thanks to this spell, I can place three continuous spell cards from my graveyard in my spell and trap card zone, but their effects are negated. So, I choose my sad story spells". Her cards then appeared on her field.
"What's the point of bringing out three spells if you can't use them?" Asked Akiza.
"Maybe she finally lost her mind" joked Kelsey.
"Actually, it's so I can activate my facedown card, sorrowful chain", said Misty. "Since I have all of my sad story cards face up on the field, I can now special summon Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings". Misty's new monster was a hideous girl dragon.

"That's gotta be one of the UGLIEST dragons I've ever seen" said Kelsey.
"Aw, now that's not very nice", said Misty mockingly. "Now, then. Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings! Attack Akiza directly!". Dragon Queen then unleashed it's fiery breath upon Akiza.
Akiza: 4000 - 1900 = 2100
"Now for my dragon's first effect", said Misty. "You gotta send one card from your hand to the graveyard". Akiza then sent a card to the graveyard.
"I also get to draw a card", said Misty. "I'll end my turn".
"Then it's my turn", said Akiza drawing the top card of her deck. "I summon Witch of the Black Rose in attack mode". Akiza's new monster was a cute girl with purple hair and blue eyes wearing a maid costume and carried a stick with a blue rose on it.

"Now for my monster's special ability", said Akiza. "I draw the top card of my deck. If it isn't a monster, my witch gets destroyed". Akiza then drew the top card of her deck.
"I drew Rose Fairy", said Akiza. "And thanks to her special ability, if she's added to my hand by a card effect, I can summon her automatically". Akiza's new monster was a fairy with pink skin, blue wings, red eyes and hair that looked like a rose.

"If you're gonna do something Akiza", said Kelsey. "Do it now".
"I tune my level 4 Witch of the Black Rose with my level 3 Rose Fairy", said Akiza performing the summon. "Beautiful dragon of the demon's garden! When your petals bloom, spread your vile pollen and release your thorns into your victims and unleash your poison! I synchro summon! BLACK ROSE DRAGON!". Akiza's ace monster then appeared on her field. When it did, petals were blown everywhere and the wind scattered them everywhere and destroyed the house of mirrors. Now, Kelsey was next to Akiza and Misty was in front of them.

"There it is", said Misty. "The weapon that killed my brother".
"Killed?", asked Kelsey. "I thought you said he disappeared?".
"He might as well be dead", said Misty. "They never did find the body".
"Enough of this", said Akiza. "Black Rose Dragon! Destroy Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings! Rose Flame Fire!". Black Rose Dragon then destroyed Dragon Queen.
Misty: 3000 - 500 = 2500
"I end my turn" said Akiza.
"Then it's my move", said Kelsey drawing the top card of her deck. "I activate second flaming. This spell allows me to bring two fire monsters back from the graveyard to my field. And I choose Lakeside Lady and Phlogis". Kelsey's two monsters then appeared on her field.
"Next, I play the spell Level Stamp and Postage", said Kelsey. "Thanks to this card, I can increase or decrease the level of one monster I control equal to the number of card I send to the graveyard. So, by sending one card, I can decrease my Phlogis' level by one".
Laval Phlogis
Level: 4 - 1 = 3
"Now, I tune my level 3 Lakeside Lady with my now level 3 Phlogis", said Kelsey performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Laval the Greater!". Kelsey's new monster was a humanoid made out of blue rocks and was adorned with silver pieces. He also had blue flames on his shoulders and head.

"I'll place a card facedown and end my turn" said Kelsey.
"Then it's my turn", said Misty drawing the top card of her deck. "Now, by sending a continuous spell from my field to my graveyard, I'm allowed to bring back my Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings". One of her face up continuous spells disappeared and her dragon returned.
"Blah! That ugly dragon is back" said Kelsey.
"Beauty is skin deep you brat", said Misty. "But, if her appearance really disgusts you, I'm sure a mask will help. I activate Reptilianne Rage. Now, not only is my dragon considered a reptile type, but she gains an extra 800 attack points. Is this a better look?". A mask then covered her dragon's face.
Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings
ATK: 1900 + 800 = 2700
"To be honest, no" said Kelsey.
"Very well then", said Misty. "Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings! Take out Laval the Greater!". Dragon Queen then charged forward.
"Not so fast", said Kelsey. "I activate the facedown, Fire Forcefield. Thanks to this trap, all I have to do is banish a fire monster from my grave and my monster is safe. So, I banish my-".
"I activate the quick play spell Reptilianne Acid", said Misty. "When an effect is activate that targets a reptile monster, I can negate and destroy that card".
"Oh no", said Kelsey. "And thanks to that mask, that dragon is a reptile type". Acid then covered Kelsey's card as it dissolved.
"Not to worry", said Akiza. "For I activate my Rose Blizzard trap. Now, not only is that dragon's attack negated, but it's switched into defence mode".
"Rgh. I end my turn" said Misty.
Meanwhile.
"Where the heck did Candi go to?" Asked Yusei.
"I don't know", said Emily. "But I hope she returns soon". In a flash of light, Candi reappeared. And this time, he had a young boy with brown hair and wearing a blue school uniform.
"Huh? Where are we?" Asked the boy.
"Everybody, meet Toby" said Candi.
"As in, Misty Treadwell's younger brother?" Asked Leo.
"You know my sister?" Asked Toby.
"If by know, you mean she's trying to send us to the netherworld? Then yes, we do" said April.
"Let's just bring Toby to Misty and maybe, that will snap her out of it" said Chloe.
"Then let's go" said Luna as they ran inside.
Meanwhile.
"It's my move, I draw", said Akiza drawing the top card of her deck. "I activate my Black Rose Dragon's special ability. By taking a plant type monster in my graveyard and removing it from play, I can force one of your monsters into attack mode and reduce it's attack points to zero". Thorn covered vines then grabbed onto Dragon Queen.
Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings
ATK: 2700 - 2700 = 0
"Next, I summon Dark Verger in defence mode" said Akiza. Her new monster was a spindly plant with eyes on the leaves.

"With that I end my turn" said Akiza.
"Then it's my turn", said Kelsey drawing the top card of her deck. "Now, Laval the Greater! Take out Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings!". Greater then shot blur fire out of his hands and destroyed Dragon Queen.
Misty: 2500 = 1200 = 1300
"What!", shouted Kelsey. "How do you still have all those life points?".
"It's all thanks to Reptilianne Shell", said Misty. "I can activate this card from my hand when you inflict me with 2000 or more points of damage. So, the damage I take is halved".
"I end my turn" said Kelsey.
Meanwhile.
Yusei and the others were running to get to Akiza and Kelsey.
"Come on!", shouted Yusei. "We gotta keep running".
"Are we even getting anywhere?" Asked Leo.
"I don't know, just keep running" said Trudge.
Meanwhile.
"It's my turn", said Misty. "But first, due to the effect of Reptilianne Rage, your Greater loses 800 attack points".
Laval the Greater
ATK: 2400 - 800 = 1600
"Next, I summon Reptilianne Gardna in defence mode" said Misty. A generic turtle then appeared on her field.

"Now, by sending another continuous spell from my field to the graveyard", said Misty. "I can bring a certain someone back". Her Dragon Queen then returned.
"Oh great, it's back" said Akiza sarcastically.
"Now, destroy Laval the Greater" said Misty. Dragon queen then destroyed Laval the Greater.
Kelsey: 4000 - 300 = 3700
"With that, I end my turn" said Misty.
"Then it's my turn", said Akiza drawing the top card of her deck. Only she growled when she saw what she drew. "I'll end my turn".
"Then it's my move", said Kelsey drawing the top card of her deck. "I end my turn".
"Aw, what's the matter?", asked Misty mockingly as she drew the top card of her deck. "Didn't get the card you want?". She then looked at the card she drew and smiled.
"I on the other hand did", said Misty. "But first, I activate the spell advanced force. Now, for this turn only, one monster I control counts as two monsters".
"Oh no" said Kelsey.
"She must be about to summon her Earthbound Immortal" said Akiza.
"You couldn't be more right", said Misty. "So, prepare yourselves for the netherworld. I tribute my Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings! And thanks to that, I can summon out THIS guy. Come forth! EARTHBOUND IMMORTAL CCARAYHUA!". Her Dragon Queen turned into a purple light and went into the sky before turning into a stone heart. As the heart beat, it began to absorb souls into it. When it finished, the heart turned into a purple light as it turned into a giant black lizard with green lining standing on it' hind legs.
Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua

"Emily was right", said Kelsey. "These Earthbound Immortal ARE huge".
"Now, it's time to finish you off", said Misty. "Earthbound Immor-".
"HEY! SIS!" Shouted a voice.
"Who was that?" Asked Kelsey. Misty recognised that voice anywhere. She looked to the side to see someone she thought she lost.
"T-Toby" she said.
"Yeah, it's me", said Toby. "You need to stop this! I wasn't dead, I made it out! It wasn't Akiza's fault".
"Now do you believe me?" Asked Akiza. Misty's eyes then returned to normal.
"Akiza", said Misty. "I'm sorry. I'll-". She then felt a pain in her body.
"I will not allow you to forfeit", said a dark voice. "Now, DESTROY THEM!". Misty's marks started to flash.
"I, I end my turn" groaned Misty.
"Then it's my turn", said Akiza. "Black Rose Dragon! Destroy Reptilianne Gardna!". Black Rose Dragon then destroyed Reptilianne Gardna.
"Kelsey, you know what to do" said Akiza.
"You know it", said Kelsey drawing the top card of her deck. "Inferno Queen! Attack Misty directly! Blazing Fire Storm!". Inferno Queen raised her hand and launched a stream of fire from her hand and reduced Misty's life points to 0.
"Thank you" said Misty as she turned to black dust. Ccarayhua then roared as he disappeared.
"Well, I think I should be going" said Tobi. He then disappeared in a flash of light.
"Quick! The tower!" Said Kelsey. Akiza then ran to the tower and placed her card on the control panel. After a few seconds, the tower started to sink and Akiza got out. Not to long afterwards, Yusei and the others arrived, followed by Jack and Lily.
"He tower's gone", said Leo. "So that means the gate is closed". The clouds then suddenly became dark.
"I don't think this is over quite yet" said Yusei. A large purple light then came from New Domino City. When the light faded, another Geoglyph was over the area.
"Oh crud" Lily.
"You can say that again" said Emily.
