Author's note.
Here it is, the final Chapter of the Dark Signers arc. If ya watched the anime, they ya know how this goes. There will be a new story arc after this, so wait for it. Oh, and this is gonna be my longest chapter so far.
Chapter 13
Sun and Moon
"This doesn't make any sense", said Emily. "I thought if we sealed all four towers, then we'd win". The ground started to shake .
"Whoa! What's that?!", asked Trudge. "An Earthquake".
"No, something worse" said Yusei. A large hand then came out of the ground, soon, a figure that resembled a demonic clown with wings on it's back.
"Is that?" Asked Luna.
"Nogo" said Emily.
"THAT'S Nogo" said Crow.
"My goodness", said Jack. "That's huge". Nogo then started to walk slowly towards the ocean.
"It's headed towards New Domino" said Luna.
"We'll never make it in time" said Lily.
"Well we gotta do something" said April.
"Unless we can fly", said Chloe, "we're basically stuck here". The marks on the signers arms started to glow.
"Our marks" said Akiza. They then looked to the sky and saw something that they never thought they'd see.
"Is that the?" Asked Lily.
"Crimson Dragon" said Yusei. The dragon then headed towards them and swallowed them. The next thing they knew, they were in a starry outer space like place.
"Are we inside the Crimson Dragon?" Asked Akiza curiously.
"You are indeed" said a voice. The next thing they knew, they were face to face with.
"Queen Euphoria" said Emily and her friends.
"That's Queen Euphoria?" Asked Jack.
"It is", said Yusei. "I met her once before".
"It is nice to see you again Yusei" said Queen Euphoria.
"My queen", said Candi. "What brings you here?".
"The Crimson Dragon and I are guiding you to your destination", said Queen Euphoria. "There is one more Earthbound Immortal that needs to be stopped and he is the most powerful of them all. Yusei. You, Jack and Crow can not defeat him by yourselves. So, my faithful girls, I gift you with these. So that you may transform, one last time". Balls of light appeared in the hands of Emily, Kelsey, Lily, April and Chloe. When the light faded, it revealed…..
"Our Glitter Pacts" said Emily.
"Haha! The Glitter Force is back in business" said Kelsey.
"This is all the help I can give you", said Queen Euphoria. "But just know this, even when this battle is over, there shall still be many trials for you that lie ahead". Queen Euphoria slowly faded away.
"What did she mean by trials?" Asked Mina.
"The heck if I know", said Trudge. "These mythical beings never say anything that makes sense".
"Well, all I know is that our stop is coming up" said Crow. They were soon approaching a giant light. When it faded, the found themselves at the front of a temple where Goodwin's mansion was.
"Isn't this where Goodman's mansion was?" Asked Kelsey.
"Didn't you hear the narrator?" Asked Jack.
"Welcome my friends" said a voice. Everyone looked to the top of the temple to see.
"Director" said Mina.
"Goodwin" growled Jack.
"What's going on here?", asked Emily. "Why is Nogo back? What's up with this temple? And why is there a Dark Signer marking here?".
"It's quite simple my dear Emily", said Rex. "Nogo is here because I summoned him. Before the portal closed, I found another way to summon him. If the negative energy gathered from the Dark Signers is brought to the satellite upon their defeat, their energy will revive him".
"You mean you planned this?" Asked Kelsey furiously.
"But why?", asked Crow. "After all, you asked us to help you takedown the Dark Signers".
"So what's the point of all this?" Asked Yusei. Rex then chuckled as he turned his back to them. When he did, a familiar mark glowed on his back.
"Wait", said Emily. "That's a-".
"That's right", said Rex. "A Dark Signer mark". His shirt then burst off and his hair went wild as he started to flex. Soon, markings like those on the other dark signers appeared on his body as the white parts of his eyes turned black.
"Whoa", said Emily. "Who knew that being influenced by dark powers could give you muscles".
"While I do enjoy these", said Rex. "This is just a payload. When I defeat you, I will take your marks from you and use the power to Crimson Dragon's power to rebuild the world in my image. That is, after I destroy the world with the power of Nogo".
"Not gonna happen", said Emily. "If you want to destroy the world, then you gotta go through me".
"And me" added Chloe.
"And me" added Lily.
"Same here" said April.
"Me too" said Kelsey.
"Count me in" said Yusei.
"Me too" said Jack.
"Me three" said Crow.
"Very well then", said Rex. "I'll take you all on at once. After all, me defeating you all in a duel is part of the ritual I need to do in order for lord Nogo to do my bidding. So, what do you say?".
"Sure", said Yusei. "If beating you means THAT thing goes bye bye".
"Bring it on", said Jack. "No here's afraid of you Goodwin".
"That's right", said Crow. "So you got yourself some bulging biceps. Check out these bad boys, built for speed and power, just like the legendary man himself. That's right, we'll sore as high as he does".
"Don't count us out", said Emily. "Time to transform girls".
"Insert Glitter Charm!".
"Activate Glitter Pact!".
"All together! Glitter Force Makeover!".
After a whole lot of magical stuff, the transformation had finished.
"A fabulous shimmer, a glow in your heart, I'm, Glitter Lucky!".
"When you mess with me, you're playing with fire, I'm, Glitter Sunny!".
"Puppies and kittens, the power of love, I'm, Glitter Peace!".
"A force as strong, as life itself, I'm, Glitter Spring!"
"Cool and swift, as the winter wind, I'm, Glitter Breeze!".
"Shining bright! Here comes the Glitter Force!".
"Whoa! That's so cool", said Luna. "I, I actually want one of those outfits".
"Aw, those are adorable", said Akiza. "I could just pinch their cheeks".
"Reminds me of one of those girl power shows I watched as a kid" said Mina.
"As much as I like wearing these outfits again", said April. "How are we gonna turbo duel without Duel Runners?". Their Glitter Pacts started to glow and their outfits began to change. They were now wearing full bodysuits in their respective colours with heeled boots. Visors then covered their eyes and miniature jet packs with angel-like wings appeared on their backs.
"Whoahohohoooooo, this is sooooooo cool", said Emily excitedly. "We got Turbo Modes".
"Well then", said Rex. "Are you all ready?".
"You better believe it Rex", said Emily. "And we're gonna win too".
"Very well", said Rex. "We shall duel on the crest of the condor. There, I will crush you Signers and you Glitter Force Warriors".
"Let's go everyone!" Shouted Yusei.
"Right behind ya" said Emily.
Then then drove or flew onto the Condor crest.
"Before we begin, a few ground rules", said Rex. "Since it'll be eight against one, each of you will start out with 4000 life points each. While I'll start with eight times that amount, 32000. Also, none of us can attack on the first turn".
"Sure" said Yusei.
"Fine by me" said Crow.
"That's alright by me" said Jack.
"We'll beat you either way" said Emily and the others.

"It's my move", said Crow drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon Blackwing Mistrul the Silver Shield in attack mode". His monster then appeared on the field.
"And when there's another Blackwing on my field", said Crow. "I can summon another monster and this one is gone give me a serious edge, and a sharp edge at that. Blackwing Bora the Spear". His monster then appeared on his field.
"I'll place a card facedown and end my turn" said Crow.
"Which means you get to deal with me now" said Jack as he drew the top card of his deck.

"I summon Ronin Fairy in defence mode" said Emily. Emily's monster was a male fairy dressed in Samurai robes.

"Since there are monsters on your field and not on mine", said Rex. "I'm allowed to special summon Oracle of the Sun". His monster was a shaman-like being wearing clothes that looked like he worshiped the sun.

"That can NOT be good" said Emily.
"It rarely ever is" said Jack.
"Well Emily, you are right. It isn't good, at least not for you. I tune my level 3 Ascator with my level 5 Oracle", said Rex performing the summon. "I synchro summon! The mighty! The all powerful! The beginning of the end for you eight peons! The Sun Dragon Inti!". His new monster was a glowing, yellow, stone sun with a face and had four heads coming off it. One on the top, one on the bottom and one on each side.

The new monster was a goddess being that looked like the other dark tuners they've seen.

"Not good indeed", said Rex. "At least for you. Now for her ability. She can copy the level of one synchro monster on my field. So, since Inti is level 8, so is Witaka".

"Here comes the dark synchro monster" said Lily.
"Now, since Witaka is now stronger, I'll have her tune with the level 2 Weeping Idol", said Rex performing the summon. "First, there was the Sun Dragon. But now, there is the Moon Dragon Quilla!". The new dragon looked like Inti, but it was coloured more blue and instead of a sun, it had a faced moon.

Rex then placed two cards face down. "But I'm afraid she won't be around for long", said Rex. "As it's special ability destroys itself at the end of my turn".
"Then why even summon it?" Asked Kelsey.
"Yeah, that don't make any sense" agreed April.
"You know what else doesn't make sense?", asked Emily. "This whole 'take over the world and rebuild it in your image', why go through all this trouble?".
"You really want to know?", asked Rex. "Well, in my tales, it should not surprise. Ever since I was a child, I loathed what the world had become. Crime, corruption, discrimination, it all made me sick. However, once I was hired by the research department, I thought that EnerD could save the world that had brought itself to ruin. However, the last thing I expected was for my brother to be overtaken by the power of the Dark Signers. Professor Fudo and I tried to stop him, but, we were too late. So, Professor Fudo sacrificed himself to save his son and I was left without a job and in these actions, the satellite was created".
"So I was right", said Emily. "Roman was responsible for what happened".
"So, how'd you become a dark signer?" Asked Yusei.
"I had an realisation", said Rex. "If I was going to save the world, I needed all the power I could muster. So, I challenged my brother to a duel, hoping that I could find away to steal his power and use it for good. But, I lost, then I realised something else. In order to save the world, I need to rule it. So, I allowed Nogo to give me my dark sign".
"Man, you're nuts" said Kelsey.
"Amen to that sister" said Crow.
"I can't believe you Rex", said Emily. "When I first met you, you seemed like the most approachable guy in the city. You gave me hope that we could win this fight. And now, you go and join the enemy?! You'll pay for that".
"And I'm the one who's gonna give you the bill" said Crow as he drew the top card of his deck.

"I play the speed spell tune up 123", said Crow. "Now I get to roll a die and Mistrul's level goes up depending on what number I roll". The die then rolled and landed on a 2.
"Awesome", said Crow. "So now, Mistrul's level increases by one".

"Now, I tune my level 3 Mistrul with my level 4 Bora", said Crow performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Blackwing Armour Master!" Crow's monster then appeared on the field.
"But I'm not done yet", said Crow. "Because, when I have s Blackwing on my field, I can normal summon the following monster without any penalty. Blackwing Elphin the Rave, come on out". Crow's newest monster was a muscular human in purple and black robes with feathered forearms and the head of a raven.

"Now, it's time for Armour Master to attack Sun Dragon Inti!" Shouted Crow.
"Huh, that doesn't make any sense" said Kelsey.
"Yeah, Armour Master is weaker than Inti" said April. Armour Master then punched the sun part of Inti and the dragon heads then held Armour Maser in place as the sun then fired a beam of yellow energy at him. But he wasn't destroyed.
"What!" Shouted April, Kelsey and Lily.
"How did your monster survive?" Asked Rex.
"Because of Armour Master's special ability", said Crow. "He can't be destroyed in battle and I take no damage from it either. But, here's the real kick in the pants. When he attacked, he left a wedge counter. And by removing said wedge counter, your monsters attack and defence points reduce to 0". The counter wedged itself deeper into Inti until the sun began to crack.

"That means Elphin can't miss" said Crow. Elphin then slashed and Inti and destroyed him.

"Ah, you're so nieve Crow", said Rex. "There is no such thing as can't miss. Not for you, and not for that legendary man you've modelled your life after".
"What the heck are you talking about?" Asked Crow.
"Wait!", shouted Yusei. "Are you saying that you're him?!".
"He's what?!" Shouted Jack.
"The guy who tried to build that bridge from satellite!" Shouted Crow.
"Back to the duel", said Rex. "And to your Elphin the Raven. For you see, any monster that destroys Inti is destroyed as well. Also, you take damage equal to that monster's attack points". Elphin the raven was then destroyed.
Crow: 4000 - 2200 = 1800
SP: 9 - 2 = 7
"And that's not all", said Rex. "When Inti is destroyed, Quilla comes back". Quilla then returned to the field.
"Oh no" said Lily.
"This can not be good" said Chloe.
"Indeed, it is not", said Rex. "So you see, as the sun falls, the moon rises. But back to what you said Crow. Yes, I am the so called 'legendary man', the very same one who tried to build the bridge to Satellite. But, I was wrong. I learned on that day, if you want something, you must do whatever you have to and whatever it takes to get it".
"Not if it means ruining the lives of others like you're doing now" said April.
"From your point of view perhaps", said Rex. "But, if you look at it from MY point of view, these actions are justified".
"Man, you're nuts" said Kelsey.
"And you JUST realised that?" Asked April.
"I'll set a card facedown and end my turn", said Crow. "Alright, who's up next?".
"Me", said Jack. "Get ready for some surprises Goodwin, and not the kind you wrap up with a bow. No, they're the kind that put people like you in their places". Jack then drew the top card of his deck.

"I summon Magic Hole Golem in defence mode" said Jack. His monster was golem in the shape of a hole.

"Now for my Golem's special ability", said Jack. "By cutting a monster's attack points in half, I can attack directly". Mad Archfiend then jumped through the golem.

"Do it Mad Archfiend!", shouted Jack. "Bone Shard Shower!". The mouth on it's belly crewed up something and then spat it back out, hitting Rex.

"And that's not all", said Crow. "I activate the trap, Shadow Dance. Since you lost life points this turn, you take an additional 1000 points of damage".
"What!" Shouted Rex.
Rex: 27900 - 1000 = 26900

"And now, I play Rising Rush!", shouted Yusei. "This trap activates when you take damage from an effect. I can now summon a Tuner from my hand, so, I'm calling out Junk Synchron!". His monster then appeared on his field.
"I end my turn" said Jack.

"Then it's my move" said Yusei as he drew the top card of his deck.

"I tune my level 3 Junk Synchron with my level 4 Max Warrior", said Yusei performing the summon. "Now, out of two comes one, and a powerful one at that! I synchro summon! The Junk Archer!". Yusei's new monster was a robot-esc warrior with orange, silver and grey armour with a bow attached to it's left hand.

"Now for Junk Archer's special ability", said Yusei. "Once per turn, I can banish one monster you control. So, Junk Archer! Target Moon Dragon Quilla! Bullseye Banishing!". Junk Archer then fired off an arrow and Quilla disappeared.
"Rex is defenceless now" said Emily.
"If Yusei attacks", said Chloe. "Then Rex will have 2 less speed counters and his life points will be at 24600".
"Why are you telling us this?" Asked Crow.
"I'm not", said Chloe. "I'm telling the readers".
"You heard her, Junk Archer", said Yusei. "Attack Rex directly!". Junk Archer then fired off another arrow.
"Why thanks", said Rex. "You just activated my trap, offerings to the immortal. Now, not only is your attack negate, but I get to summon to ceremonial tokens and add an Earthbound Immortal to my hand". The arrow then disappeared and two stones figures appeared in front of Rex.

"He stopped an attack, got two tokens and got that Immortal", said Emily. "This is gonna be SO much harder than I thought".
"Oh, ya think" said Kelsey.
"I end my turn," said Yusei. "And since I did, Quilla comes back". Quilla then reappeared on Rex's field.
"Then it's my turn" said Emily as she drew the top card of her deck.

"I summon Harp Angel in attack mode" said Emily. Her new monster was a angel with long, blonde hair in gold robes and she was carrying a large golden harp.

"Awesome", said Emily. "Ronin's level increases by 1".

"And with that done, I tune my level 4 Ronin Fairy with my level 4 Harp Angel", said Emily performing the summon. "Behold, as the fabulous stars shimmer to form a light in your heart! I synchro summon! Glitter Force Lucky Dragon!". Her Signer dragon then appeared on her field.
"I activate my dragon's ability", said Emily. "I guess the type of the top card of my deck, I guess right, I can activate one of three effects, I guess wrong, I can't attack this turn".
"You're risking your battle phase on a single card" said Jack.
"Don't ya think that's a little TOO risky?" Asked Crow.
"It's better than nothing", said Emily. "And I'm guessing that I'm gonna draw a monster card". Emily then drew the top card of her deck and looked at it before she smiled.
"Awesome! A monster card!", cheered Emily. "Now for my Dragon's ability to take effect, I gain 500 points for every monster on the field. There's Junk Archer on Yusei's field. Blackwing Armour Master on Crow's field, Mad Archfiend and Magic Hole Golem on Jack's field, Laval Cannon on Kelsey's field, Musto on April's field, Wattdragonfly on Lily's field, Revealer on Chloe's field, Quilla and the two tokens on your field and my dragon on my field. So, that's twelve monsters, so, that's an extra 6000 life points".
Emily: 4000 + 6000 = 10000
"Am I supposed to be impressed?" Asked Rex.
"You will be when my dragon attacks Quilla!", shouted Emily. "Go! Glitter Dust Blast!". Her dragon then fired a rainbow stream from it's mouth and destroyed Quilla.

"You seem to have forgotten something", said Rex. "When the moon sets the sun rises, so, say hi once again to Sun Dragon Inti". Inti then reappeared on Rex's field.
"Hm", hummed Chloe. "I think I figured out his strategy".
"Well, care to fill in the rest of the class" said Crow.
"When the Inti, the SUN Dragon is destroyed, Quilla, the MOON Dragon comes back", said Chloe. "It's like when the sun sets, the moon rises".
"So when we destroy Inti, Quilla comes back, just like Rex said?", asked April. "And if we destroy Quilla, Inti comes back?".
"We gotta find a way to get rid of both of those dragons" said Kelsey.
"Don't worry, we will", said Emily. "But first, I'll place a card facedown and end my turn".
"Then it's my move" said Kelsey as she drew the top card of her deck.

"I release my Cannon to summon Laval Burner" said Kelsey. Her monster disappeared and it was replaced by a new one. The one was made out of dark orange rocks and was adorned with silver metal in some areas, but the most noticeable was the head of fiery hair.

"Next, I tune my level 5 Burner with my level 3 Lakeside Lady", said Kelsey performing the summon. "When you mess with her, you're playing with fire! I synchro summon! Inferno Queen!". Her monster then appeared on her field.
"Sweet", said Jack. "We now got two monsters with 3000 points".
"I'll place these two facedown and call it a turn" said Kelsey.
"Then it's time for my turn" said Lily drawing the top card of her deck.

"I summon Wattmole in attack mode" said Lily. Her new monster was a round mole wearing dude-shades and had large metal claws for paws.

"You fool", said Rex. "You can't defeat me my summon monsters with the same attack as mine".
"She won't be for long", said Lily. "I play the trap card, Thunder Heart! Thanks to this, when a Thunder type battles this turn, it gains 400 attack points for every Thunder monster in the graveyard. Since I have three in my graveyard, that's a total of 1200 extra points".

"Now then my creature, prepare for assault", said Lily as her monster readied itself. "Now attack Sun Dragon Inti with! THUNDER BLADE STRIKE!". Her monster then unleashed a war cry and swung it's sword at Inti.
"This one's for Carly" said Lily. Valkyrie the slashed at Inti and destroyed him.

"Now for my Valkyrie's special effect", said Lily. "When she destroys a monster by battle, you take damage equal to that monster's level times 100. Since Inti's a level 8, you now lose 800 life points". A large lightning bolt then struck Goodwin.

"Have you forgotten my Dragon's ability?", asked Rex. "Any monster that destroys Inti is destroyed as well and you take that monsters attack points as damage".
"Sorry to burst your bubble Goodwin", said Lily. "But Thunder Heart has another effect, if I return it to my deck and reshuffle, Thunder monsters I control can't be destroyed by card effects".
"My, aren't you resourceful", said Rex. "But, you forgot something else". Quilla then returned.
"Crud", said Lily. "I forgot that Quilla returns if Inti is destroyed. Uh, I'll place this facedown and end my turn".
"Then I'm up next" said April drawing the top card of her deck.

"I summon Gusto Falco in attack mode" said April. Her monster then appeared on the field.
"Next, I tune my Falco with my Musto", said April performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Daigusto Laplampilica!". Her new monster was a young girl riding green bird with gold trimming and armour

"Ugh, these dragons keep coming back for more" said April.
"And it's gonna keep coming back unless we think of something" said Yusei.
"Well for now, I end my turn" said April.
"Then I'll start my turn" said Chloe drawing the top card of her deck.

"I summon Defender of the Ice Barrier in attack mode" said Chloe. Her new monster was a yellow furred fox that wore blue and silver armour in the shape of snowflakes.

"I tune my level 3 Defender with my level 4 Revealer", said Chloe performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Gungnir! Dragon of the Ice Barrier!". Chloe's new monster was a dragon made out of ice crystal with a fiery glow inside.

"Now!", shouted Chloe. "Attack Inti with Snow Storm Breath!". Gungnir then released a snow storm from it's mouth and destroyed Inti.

"It seems as though you girls never learn", said Rex. "And it's time to face the consequences, so, say good by to your Gungnir".
Gungnir was then destroyed.

"I'll set these two facedown and end my turn" said Chloe.
"My turn now" said Rex as he drew the top card of his deck.

"I now sacrifice the two Ceremonial Tokens" said Rex.
"Here it comes" said Emily.
"I summon!", shouted Rex. "EARTHBOUND IMMORTAL! WIRAQOCHA RASCA!". The tokens then turned into orbs of light and the light then turned into a stone heart. The heart started to beat and absorbed every soul in the city. When the heart stopped beating, it then was then bathed in a blinding light. Out of the light appeared a large black condor with magenta lining.

"Well, my dear, appearances can be deceiving", said Rex. "I activate Wiraqocha Rasca's ability. Now, if I skip the battle phase of this turn, I can make the life points of one player become 1".
"What?!" Shouted Emily and the girls.
"And my target will be…..YUSEI!" Shouted Rex.
"You can't do that", said Jack. "He'll be a sitting duck".
"That's the point", said Rex. "Now then, show them your might Rasca!".
"What happened to you Goodwin?", asked Crow. "You used to believe in helping people, not just yourself. I know things didn't work out for you, but there are people who still look up to you".
"SILENCE!", shouted Rex. "I'M NOT THAT MAN ANYMORE! Rasca! Route Yusei's Life Points!".
"I don't think so", said Crow. "I play the trap, Life Exchange. When life points change due to a card effect, I become that target!".
"Crow! What are you doing?!" shouted Kelsey.
"What I need to", said Crow. "As a great man once said 'victory cannot be achieved without sacrifice'. I'm gonna do everything in my power to help my friends win this fight, even if I have to take myself out in the process. So, GIVE ME ALL YA GOT!". Wiraqocha Rasca then fired a beam of magenta energy at Crow, causing him to be launched into the air.
"CROW!" Shouted Yusei and the others.

"Well, if I'm going out, I'm going out swinging", said Crow. "I activate Life Exchanges other effect. Since my life points decreased, I can destroy one monster you control, and I choose to destroy Moon Dragon Quilla!". Crow then activated his Duel Runner's wings and flew straight through Quilla, destroying it.
"Now, I activate Blackwing Anchor, to release my Blackwing Armour Master", said Crow as his monster disappeared. "Oh boy, this is gonna be one rough landing".
"He's falling too fast!" Shouted Lily.
"Crow, watch out!" Emily. Crow's duel runner landed with a crash and a thud as Crow landed facedown.
"CROW!" Shouted Yusei.
"You'll be avenged my friend" said Jack.
"I'm afraid that if Crow can't ride, then he can't duel either", said Rex. "But for now, I'll end my turn with a facedown".
"Then it's my move" said Jack drawing the top card of his deck.

"I summon Sinister Sprocket to the field in attack mode" said Jack. His new monster was a large gear with evil eyes and a chain wrapped around it.

"Alright", said Yusei. "I trust you".
"I activate Half Battalion", said Jack. "Now, if I cut the strongest monster's attack points in half, I can attack my opponent directly".

"Now then Red Dragon", said Jack. "It's time to avenge the person who showed us the light! This one's for you Carly! Absolute Power Force!". Jack's dragon then attacked.
"I activate Inti's special ability", said Rex. "Reducing it's attack points points to 0 for the turn".

"Oh no", said Jack. "If my opponent has any monsters with less attack points then mine, Half Battalion is negated. Oh well, I guess I'll just attack your dragon! Red Dragon Archfiend! Continue!".
Red Dragon then destroyed Inti

"Don't you remember my monsters effect?" Asked Rex.
Red Dragon Archfiend was then destroyed.

Quilla then returned.

"Then it's my turn to take the reigns" said Yusei as he drew the top card of his deck.

"Now, I activate Junk Archer's ability", said Yusei. "Now, remove Quilla from play". His archer then got ready to shoot an arrow.
"I activate my trap card, destruct potion", said Rex. "To destroy my own Quilla and gain life points equal to that monster's attack points". Quilla was then destroyed.
"You might have destroyed your dragon", said Emily. "But you ain't gaining life points. If I send Thief Fairy to the graveyard when you activate an effect to increase life points, I become the target instead".
Emily: 4000 + 2500 = 6500
Inti then returned.
"I end my turn" said Yusei.
"Time to bring this story to the climax" said Emily drawing the top card of her deck.
"I summon Knitting Fairy in attack mode" said Emily. Her new monster was an old fairy that was knitting a scarf.

"Now, attack Sun Dragon Inti!" Shouted Emily.
"What?!" Shouted Jack. "But Heraldemon is weaker than Inti!".
"When a Synchro monster uses Athlete Fairy as Synchro Material, that monster gains 1000 attack points during the battle phase", said Emily. "After all, what's an athlete without some cheerleaders".

"Now we're talking" said Lily.
"Heraldemon!", shouted Emily. "Attack Inti with Curse of Wand!". Heraldemon then blasted a beam out of her wand and destroyed Inti.

"Time for your monster to be destroyed" said Rex. Heraldemon was then destroyed.

Quilla then returned.
"I'm not finished yet", said Emily. "I activate my Dragon's first effect. I can now special summon one level 4 or below monster from my hand and I choose Crystal Fairy". Her monster then appeared on her field.
"Next, I play speed spell Quick Passenger", said Emily. "Thanks to this card, I can special summon one monster from my deck. However, it has to be the same type as the monster I recently summoned, so I call on, Candy Pixy". Her monster then appeared on the field.
"Next, I tune my level 2 Candy Pixy with my level 4 Crystal Fairy", said Emily performing the summon. "Creature of the night! Arise from your crypt and drain the life force of your foes! I synchro summon! Vlad Vain!". Emily's new monster was a pale skinned man with blood red eyes, a head of purple-black hair, had pointed ears, wore an old fashioned tuxedo and wore a cape that resembled bat wings.

"Next, I tune my level 1 Forest Sprite with my level 6 Greater", said Kelsey performing the summon. "I synchro summon! Lavalval Salamander!". Kelsey's newest monster was a large dragon made out of red, yellow and black rocks.

"So wait", said Lily. "If it's 200 for each one? And in the graveyard she has Cannon, Burner, Hand Maiden, Coatl, Archer and Forest Sprite. So that's-".
"An extra 1400 points" finished Chloe.
"Whoa", said Lily. "4000".
Lavalval Salamander

"Now Salamander!", shouted Kelsey. "Attack Inti!".
"What?!", shouted April. "Are you crazy?! If you destroy Inti, Quilla will come back!".
"And when Inti's destroyed", said Jack. "The monster that destroyed it is destroyed as well. AND you'll take damage equal to it's attack points".
"Don't worry, I got a plan", said Kelsey. "Go! Laval Magma Blast!". Salamander then shot a stream of magma from it's mouth and destroyed Inti.

"You fool", said Rex. "Have you forgotten Inti's ability?". Salamander was then destroyed.
"No I haven't, in fact, I was hoping for it", said Kelsey. "I activate the speed spell deceleration shield. Thanks to this, if I decrease my speed counters by one for every 500 points of damage I take this turn, that damage is negated".

"Great plan" said Jack nonchalantly.
Quilla then returned.
"Now, Inferno Queen!", shouted Kelsey. "Attack Quilla! Blazing Fire Storm!". Her monster then shot a stream of fire from her hands and destroyed Quilla.
Rex: 20500 - 500 = 20000
Inti then returned.
"I'll place this facedown and end my turn" said Kelsey.
"Which means I'm up next" said Lily as she drew the top card of her deck.

"I activate the speed spell Summon Speeder", said Lily. "Since I have four or more speed counters, I can summon a level 4 or below monster from my hand and I choose Wattbetta". Her new monster was a betta coloured orange with yellow highlights.

"And now for Chimera's other effect", said Lily. "One card in your hand returns to your deck". Rex then took a card from his hand and placed it on the top of his deck, which was then reshuffled.
"I'll end my turn with a facedown" said Lily.
"Then it's my turn" said April drawing the top card of his deck.

"When I control two wind monsters, I can activate this trap card directly from my hand" said April.
"What?!", shouted Rex. "From your hand?!".
"That's right", said April. "I activate Draining Hurricane! Thanks to this, I can take the total of my wind monster's attack points and take them away from your monster. So with 1900 + 2600, that's 4500 points from Sun Dragon Inti!". A large hurricane then wrapped around Inti for a few seconds before it disappeared.

"Now, Eguls!", shouted April. "Attack Sun Dragon Inti with Sonic Wind Strike!". Eguls then dived down, covered in green energy and destroyed Inti.

"You remember what happens now, don't you?" Asked Rex.
"I know what happens now!" Yelled April. Eguls was then destroyed.

Quilla then returned.

"Time for me to show you one four" said Chloe.

"I activate my two facedown cards", said Chloe. "Go! Reincarnation Coral Flute and Resurrection Charm! Thanks to my Flute, I can summon one Water monster from my graveyard in defence mode and resurrection charm allows me the privilege of bringing one level 4 or below monster back to my field from my graveyard. So, I now summon Defender and Revealer of the Ice Barrier". Her monsters then returned to the field.
"Next, I summon Zuijin of the Ice Barrier" said Chloe. Her new monster was a feudal warrior of sorts wearing blue, purple, white and black robes. He also wore adornments made from gold.

"Not so fast", said Rex. "If I send worshiper of the temple to the graveyard, I can negate the effects of your Trishula". The freezing beams then disappeared.
Chloe then growled. "Then I'll just attack with Trishula!", shouted Chloe. "Go! Final Thrice Freeze!". Trishula then shot three beams of ice at Quilla and destroyed it.

"I'll place this facedown and end my turn" said Chloe.

"Why do you still fight along side these buffoons, Jack?", asked Rex. "The Jack I knew would never stoop to the level of working with such measly peasants".
"Because a 'measly peasant' and her niece taught me something very important", said Jack. "And that is, without friends, you won't get anywhere in life. So, from now on, I'm gonna do everything in my power to protect those I trust and love. And to prove it, I activate Fiendish Chain. Now, thanks to this card, I can target one of your monsters and chain it up. Preventing it from attack, activating it's effects or being a tribute. And I target your Sun Dragon Inti". Inti was then chained up.
"Oh, I don't think so", said Rex. "I activate Wiraqocha Rasca's special ability! Now, by skipping my battle phase, your life points get reduced to 1! UNLEASH YOUR FURY RASCA!". Rasca then fired a beam of magenta energy from it's beak and it struck Jack.

"Oh no", said Jack. "If I have 1000 life points or less, Fiendish Chain gets destroyed". Inti then broke free from it's chains. The impact then caused Jack to lose control of his duel runner before he crashed.
"JACK!" Shouted Lily.
"I'm, fine", groaned Jack. "Just win this".
"I'll set these two and end my turn" said Rex.
"Oh man", said Leo. "This ain't good".
"You're right", said Luna. "Both Crow and Jack are down to one point".
"Let's hope that Yusei, Emily and the others fare better" said Mina.
"They will" said Akiza.
"They better" said Trudge.
"I hope so" said Candi.
"It's my move" said Yusei drawing the top card of his deck.
Kelsey SP: 8 + 1 = 9
"first, I activate the effect of Junk Archer", said Yusei. "So that means that Sun Dragon Inti is removed from play". Archer then got ready to fire.
"Not so fast, I activate the trap, Passion of Baimasse", said Rex. "Not only does this card negate your monster's effect, but outright destroys it". Black smoke then destroyed Junk Archer.
"I summon Shield Warrior in defence mode" said Yusei. His monster was a tan skinned man wearing tribal armour carrying a spear and a giant shield.

"I summon Chef Fairy in attack mode" said Emily. Her new monster was a male fairy with green hair dressed as a chef.

I synchro summon! Moerumba the Fire Dancer!". Her new monster was a man with pale pink skin wearing a red jumpsuit with purple on the forelegs and forearms. But, the most noticeable thing about him, was the green and yellow fire on his ankles, forelegs, elbows and head.

"Now, Lucky Dragon! Attack Inti!" Shouted Emily.
"Why's she doing this?" Asked April.
"Yeah", said Kelsey. "Both Lucky Dragon and Inti have the same number of attack points". Glitter Force Lucky Dragon and Sun Dragon Inti fired their attacks and destroyed each other.
Quilla then retuned to the field.
"Why'd ya do that?" Asked Lily.
"Since both monsters left the field, Inti can't inflict damage from it's effect". said Emily. "Now, Moerumba! Attack Quilla with Fire Dance!". Moerumba then danced around a bit as it made seven balls of fire and then launched each one of them and destroyed Quilla.
Rex: 15800 - 100 = 15700
Inti then returned.
"Now for Moerumba's effect", said Emily. "When it destroys a monster in battle, you take damage equal to half that monster's attack points". Moerumba then created six balls of fire and launched them at Rex.

"I'll place this card facedown and end my turn" said Emily.
"Then it's my turn" said Kelsey drawing the top card of her deck.

"Now, Inferno Queen", said Kelsey. "Attack Sun Dragon Inti!".
"Again with this?" Asked Rex. Both Inferno Queen and Inti then destroyed each other. Quilla then returned.
"Now for my Inferno Queen's effect", said Kelsey. "When she destroys a monster in battle, you take damage equal to the points of what ever move your monster was in".

"I'll place this facedown and end my turn" said Kelsey.
"So I'm next" said Lily as she drew the top card of her deck.

"Chimera!", shouted Lily. "Attack Rex directly with Thunder Tail!" Chimera then launched it's attack at Rex.

"Now for Chimera's second effect", said Lily. "One random card from your hand gets sent back to your deck". Rex took a card from his hand and returned it to his deck, which was then reshuffled.
"Now, Thunder Heart Valkyrie!", shouted Lily. "Attack Quilla!". Valkyrie then destroyed Quilla.
Rex: 10050 - 500 = 8050
Inti then returned.
"I'll place this facedown and end my turn" said Lily.
"I'm up next" said April drawing the top card of her deck.
Rex SP: 9 + 1 = 10
"Eguls!", shouted April. "Attack Quilla with Sonic Wind Strike!". Eguls then destroyed Quilla with it's attack.
Rex: 8050 - 100 = 7950
Inti then returned.
"I'll place this card facedown and end my turn" said April.
"Then it's my move" said Chloe drawing the top card of his deck.
Rex SP: 10 + 1 = 11
"I'll pass, there's nothing I can do" said Chloe.
"Then at last, it's my turn" said Rex drawing the top card of his deck.
Rex SP: 11 + 1 = 12
"I activate the trap, Synchro Detonator", said Rex. "Now, I choose one synchro monster on my field, and every other synchro who's level is equal or less to the one I chose is destroyed".
"What?!" Everyone else shouted. Chimera, Valkyrie, both Gustos and Moerumba were destroyed.
"Now for Rasca's special ability", said Rex. "I skip my battle phase and I can lower the life points of a player to 1. And the target this time is gonna be…Kelsey!".
"Bring it on beefcake" said Kelsey.
"My, aren't you the reckless one", said Rex. "Always thinking with your fists instead of your head. That will get you in trouble someday".
"And if it does", said Kelsey. "I'll except it".
"Very well then", said Rex. "Drain her life points Rasca!". Rasca then fired a beam of magenta energy at Kelsey, blowing her off course and onto the ground.

"Kelsey!" Shouted the girls.
"Stop this Rex!" Shouted Yusei.
"All you need to do is hand over your marks", said Rex. "Then, everything will go back to normal".
"Not on your life!" Retorted Yusei.
"Then let the carnage continue" said Rex as he placed a card facedown.
"It's my move Rex", said Yusei drawing the top card of his deck. "I'll pass, there's nothing I can do".
"Then it's my move", said Emily drawing the top card of her deck. "I'll place this facedown and end my turn".
"I'll place this down and pass as well", said Lily after drawing the top card of her deck.
"Same here" said April drawing the top card of her deck.
"Me as well" said Chloe drawing the top card of her deck.
"Now, it is my turn", said Rex drawing the top card of his deck. "And I activate the speed spell crash course. Thanks to this, I can target one monster you control, and if it has less attack points then the strongest monster on my field, then it's destroyed". Trishula was then destroyed.
"For someone who's at the top of the class", said Rex. "You sure don't seem to plan ahead. I thought your parents raised you to do things to the utmost perfection?".
"Well, news flash Rex", said Chloe. "I'm not that girl anymore. I'm gonna take chances, make mistakes and get messy".
"Well, congratulations", said Rex. "You made your first mistake. And that was challenging me. I activate Wiraqocha Rasca's ability. I simply skip my battle phase and your life points go down to 1. Strike now Rasca!". Rasca then fired its magenta energy and struck Chloe, causing her to land with a thud.
Chloe: 500 - 499 = 1
"Four down and four to go", said Rex. "You might as well give up".
"Never", said Yusei drawing the top card of his deck. "I'll pass this turn".
"I'll do the same" said Emily.
"Me too" said Lily.
"Me three" said April.
"Then it's my turn again" said Rex drawing the top card of his deck.
"You, Rex Goodwin", said April. "Are nuttier than my grandma's Christmas fruit cake".
"What's the matter April?", asked Rex. "Don't like not being in control?".
"I AM in control" retorted April.
"You say that", said Rex. "But deep down, you wish you were an only child. If you were, you'd be able to go out with your friends a lot more and you'd have all the things you wanted".
"Well, here's the thing Rex", said April. "I might be the oldest of seven siblings, but it's through them, I gained the knowledge I have to help others through my acts. So, in a way, I thank my siblings for teaching me".
"Well, did they teach you to remember this?", ask Rex. "Wiraqocha Rasca! Reduce April's life points to 1". Rasca then activated it's ability and fired magenta energy at April, causing her to crash and land.
April: 1400 - 1399 = 1

"April!" Shouted Yusei.
"That only leaves three of you left", said Rex. "Just give up, you can't win".
"Oh, we will", said Yusei drawing the top card of his deck. "But not this turn. I pass".
"Same here" said Emily drawing the top card of her deck.
"I pass as well" said Lily.
"My turn again I see", said Rex drawing the top card of his deck. "So, Lily. You certainly have grown a lot braver since I last saw you. But I know that deep down, you will never amount to anything that really matters".
"That's where you're wrong", said Lily. "Anything that anyone does matters. And I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna leave my mark someday".
"We'll see", said Rex. "Rasca! Reduce Lily's life points to 1". Rasca then fired his magenta energy and struck Lily. This caused her to crash.
Lily: 4000 - 3999 = 1

"You two are all that's left", said Rex. "And with you out of the way, destroying the world will be as easy as pie".
"That's not gonna happen" said Yusei drawing the top card of his deck.
"Yeah, our world is going to have a happy ending" said Emily drawing the top card of her deck.
"Oh, please", said Rex as he drew the top card of his deck. "You still think that 'happy endings' can happen? They cannot. In order for someone to be happy, someone else has to suffer".
"You're wrong", said Emily. "Everyone can have a happy. They just need to look for it".
"Is that so?", asked Rex. "Let's see you find your happy ending when I do this! Wiraqocha Rasca! Reduce that fool's life points to 1!". Rasca then unleashed it's magenta energy and sent Emily Flying.
Emily: 3200 - 3199 = 1
SP: 12 - 3 = 9
"EMILY!" Shouted Yusei. Rex just laughed.
"All alone now Yusei", said Rex. "What are you going to do?".
Yusei then drew the top card of his deck. "I'll pass" he said.
"That's all?", asked Rex. "I'd expected more from you! I activate my Earthbound Immortal's ability! Unleash your fury upon him Rasca!". Rasca then unleashed magenta energy at Yusei.
Yusei: 4000 - 3999 = 1

"Hahahaaaaa!", laughed Rex. "Now you all have eight life points between you all. If strike you now, it will be all over".
"Not gonna happen Goodwin" said Yusei as he drew the top card of his deck.

"I play the speed spell Angel Baton", said Yusei. "Now, if I have 2 or more speed counters, I can draw two cards and send one from my hand to my graveyard". He then did just that.
"Next, I summon Debris Dragon" said Yusei. His new monster was was a young version of Stardust Dragon.

Bless the land and those who walk on it with glistening sparkles! Let the powers of the cosmos flow through everything! I SYNCHRO SUMMON! STARDUST DRAGON!". Yusei's ace monster then appeared on the field.
"I knew he'd come", wheezed Emily. "I just knew it".
"Doesn't matter", said Rex. "My Immortal cannot be attacked and Inti is too strong for Stardust".
"I, activate, Blackwing Anchor", groaned Crow. "Since I, tributed, Armour Master, a synchro monster, on our field, gains, it's, attack points".
Stardust Dragon
ATK: 2500 + 2500 = 5000
"You see", said Yusei. "That's why Crow released Armour Master. Not for himself, but for the team. Now! Stardust Dragon! Attack with Cosmic Flare!". StardustDragon then fired it's attack and destroyed Inti.

"You remember what happens, don't you?" Asked Rex.
"I activate Stardust Dragon's effect", said Yusei. "By releasing him until the end of my turn, I can negate one card. Go! Victim Sanctuary!". Stardust Dragon then roared before it disappeared.
"Now, Quilla rises" said Rex.
"No, you don't", groaned Jack. "I, activate, Conquest of the, Supreme, Ruler. By sending, this, to the graveyard, I can, negate a special summon. So, looks like the moon, doesn't, rise, this time".
"Now that my turn is over", said Yusei. "Stardust Dragon returns". His dragon then returned.
"It's my turn now" said Rex as he drew the top card of his deck.
Yusei SP: 10 + 1 = 11
Rex: SP: 10 + 1 = 11
"Now! EARTHBOUND IMMORTAL WIRAQOCHA RASCA!", shouted Rex. "Attack Yusei directly!". His monster then dove straight towards Yusei.
"Not so, fast, Rex", groaned Emily. "I activate, Family's eternal, protection. Since I have, at least, three of, the same type of, monster in my, graveyard, I can end the, battle phase of, this turn. I, told you, I'd give, someone a, happy, ending. And I, always, try and, keep my, promises". Rasca then stopped it's attack.
"Thank you Emily", said Yusei. 'That girl is truely amazing. When I decide to retire, I think she will be more than worthy of carrying Stardust'.
"I end my turn" said Rex.
"Then it's my move" said Yusei drawing the top card of his deck.

"Hey, I wanna, get in on this", groaned Kelsey. "I activate, Summon Rekindle. Since, I have, at least three, fire monsters in my grave, I can allow someone, to special summon, a level 3 or below monster from their hand. So Yusei, make this count".
"I will", said Yusei. "And I summon Stardust Xiaolong". A teal Chinese dragon appeared on Yusei's field.

"Your monster is useless", said Rex. "It can't even attack".
"I activate, Jar of, Generous Greed", groaned Chloe. "It allows, one player, to draw a, card from their deck".
"I don't understand", said Rex. "You eight life points between you, yet you still fight back, WHY?!".
"Because we all have the same goal in mind", said Yusei. "Alone, it would've been impossible to accomplish. But with my friends behind me and supporting me, there is nothing that we can't accomplish". The top card on Yusei's deck started to glow. Then, his mark glowed brighter and brighter until it changed.
"The mark of the dragon head's with me?" Asked Yusei. Emily groaned and saw that her arm now had the mark that Yusei originally had.
"What on earth" groaned Emily. The marks then gathered on Yusei's back as he drew the card.
"I summon Majestic Dragon" said Yusei.
"I activate, Synchro, Striker Force", groaned April. "Thanks to this card, if Yusei synchro, summons right now, it will inflict, double damage, when it, attacks".
"I tune level 1 Majestic Dragon with my level 8 Stardust Dragon and level 1 Stardust Xiaolong", said Yusei performing the summon. "Majestic being of the stars! Spread your lovely wings and cover this world in hope and bring this world the happy ending it deserves! I synchro summon! Majestic Star Dragon!". Yusei's new monster was a more sleek and elegant version of Sardust that had the same features as the other majestic synchros. His duel runner then went inside the dragon.

"Now, for my dragon's ability", said Yusei. "It can negate and use the abilities of one monster on the field. And I choose Wiraqocha Rasca!". Sparkles then went from Rasca and into Majestic Star.
"Next, I activate my facedown Synchro Baton", said Yusei. "Thanks to this card, one synchro monster I control gains 600 attack points for every synchro monster in our graveyard. And last time I check, Stardust Dragon, Junk Archer, Red Dragon Archfiend, Blackwing Armour Master, Moerumba, Heraldemon, Vlad Vain, Glitter Force Lucky Dragon, Inferno Queen, Lavalval Salamander, Daigusto Elgus, Daigusto Laplampilica, Thunder Heart Valkyrie, Wattchimera, Gungnir and Trishula. So that's 16. That means my dragon gains an extra 9600 attack points".
Majestic Star Dragon
ATK: 3800 + 9600 = 13400
"13400 attack points!" Yelled Rex.
"Yes, and they're aimed at one target", said Yusei. "Majestic Star Dragon! Attack Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca! Majestic Star Storm!". Majestic Star Dragon then flew in for the attack.
"I, I lost", said Rex. "I failed. But how?!".
"You failed because you're selfish", said Yusei. "You wanted the power all to yourself. But, what good is having power, if there's no one to share it with. Now attack!". Majestic Star Dragon then shot through Wiraqocha Rasca as it cried in pain before it's destruction. The resulting explosion then engulfed Rex as he screamed and disappeared as his life points reached 0.
"Now, set your sights on Emperor Nogo!" Shouted Yusei. Majestic Star Dragon then turned around and shot straight through Emperor Nogo as it screamed and disintegrated. Stardust then covered the entire area as Emily and the others were teleported to the ground as she and the girls returned to normal.
"What's going on?" Asked Emily.
"I have no idea" said Akiza. People then started reappearing in both new Domino city and the Satellite.
"Everyone that was absorbed by that immortal is returning" said Luna.
"Then that means it's over" said Crow.
"But where's Yusei?" Asked Jack.
Meanwhile.
"Yusei". Yusei opened his eyes and he was soon face to face with Queen Euphoria.
"Queen Euphoria", said Yusei. "What are you doing here? And where are we?".
"We are in the space between spaces", said Queen Euphoria. "Where time moves neither forward or back".
"But why am I here?" Asked Yusei. Queen Euphoria then held up her hand and an or of light glowed in it. Yusei looked closer to see that inside were Kalin, Devak, Misty, Grieger and Carly.
"It's Kalin and the others" said Yusei.
"Correct", said Queen Euphoria. "Their souls are free and I can now release them back to their world". The orb then disappeared.
"I can't thank you enough", said Yusei. "Is there anyway I can repay you?".
"Keep looking after Emily", answered Queen Euphoria. "The fight with the Dark Signers maybe over, but there will be many trials and dangers ahead, that will push you, Emily and all your friends to their limits".
"What kind of dangers?" Asked Yusei. Queen Euphoria just giggled.
"That would spoil the story, wouldn't it?" She asked. She then glowed righter and brighter until Yusei was swallowed up by it.
Some time later
Emily POV
I recently got this journal to keep track of my days at school or if something special comes up.
It's been a long time since I first met Yusei and his friends. No more Dark Signers, no more Earthbound Immortals, no more negative level synchro monsters. Now, everything has returned to normal. Well, as normal as things could get. But, I'm gonna be 15 soon, so hopefully, it'll be awesome. I stay in touch with the Yusei and his friends in New Domino City…..

Emily then heard her phone go off as she made her way to the computer. When she turned it on, Yusei was on the screen.
"Nice to see ya made it on time" said Yusei.
"Like an apprentice will miss a chance to learn from her master" said Emily.
"Well, in that case", said Yusei. "Welcome to Duelling 101".
