Now that the whole introductory shmuck's outta the way, it's time to see who else made it.

Chapter 15

The school announcement

The next morning, Emily came running into the school excitedly.

"Girls! Girls girls girls girls girls!", she called out over and over again until she caught up with them. "You won't believe what I got in the mail yesterday".

"Let me guess", said April. "You got an invite for a tournament?".

"How'd ya guess?" Asked Emily curiously. April, Kelsey, Lily and Chloe then held up their letters.

"You guys got the letter as well?" Asked Emily.

"Yeah", answered April. "Right after we got home".

"This is strange", said Chloe. "Why would ALL of us get the same letter? Out of all of us, me and Emily seem like the most likely ones to get it".

"Who cares, we ALL got in" said Kelsey.

"Attention everyone", said the principal over the speaker system. "Head to the auditorium for a special assembly".

"Huh, an assembly this early in the week?", wondered Lily. "What's the occasion".

"Somehow I think I know" said Emily.

A few minutes later, every student and staff member was in the auditorium.

"Thank you all so much for coming, as you know, I'm Mr. Robful", said the principal. "Now, for those who are unaware, there is an upcoming Duel Monsters Tournament, the Summer Cup, that's being held in New Domino City. And by chance, I found out that five female student from our school have been chosen to take part in it. These students are. Emily Hoshizore. Chloe Frost. April O'Conners. Kelsey Dover. And Lily Potch. Come on girls, get up here". The five girls then got up on the stage with the students and teachers clapping.

"These five girls have been chosen to take part in the Summer Cup", said Mr. Robful. "They will be competing along side other great duelists such as Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlas. Let's hope their decks are ready for anything that's thrown at them. Regardless, we wish you girls good luck".

"Like we need it" said Kelsey cockishly.

"I swear, one of these days, that attitude of yours is gonna come and take a bite outta your butt" said April.

"Like that'll happen" said Kelsey.

"Didn't you also say the same thing about you getting caught trying to sneak out?", asked Chloe. "And didn't you fail miserably at it".

"Shut up" said Kelsey through gritted teeth.
