After her morning classes are over Jade is actually really happy that it's lunch time. She's hungry and she really needs a coffee. She didn't have her morning coffee because Tori trapped her in the closet and she didn't have enough time to grab one before class. She barely made it to class on time without a coffee, never mind trying to grab a coffee first.
Once Jade has grabbed her coffee and her lunch she heads over to their usual lunch table where Andre and Cat are already sitting. When she approaches the table Cat brightens up and greets her happily.
"Hiiiiii" Cat says when Jade sits down at the table to Andre's right.
"Hi" Jade replies dryly. She still hasn't had any coffee and she's a bit grumpy still.
Andre laughs and turns to Jade. "It seems like someone hasn't had her coffee yet" Andre says.
Jade glares at Andre and he stops smiling. "Who hasn't had their coffee yet?" Beck asks as he and Robbie come over to the table. Beck takes a seat in between Andre and Cat while Robbie sits to Cat's left.
Robbie doesn't think before he speaks and he regrets it. "They must be talking about Jade. She looks grumpy."
Jade doesn't like all the talk about her being grumpy without her coffee. It's true but she still doesn't like it. Suddenly Jade starts to count. "3, 2-"
Robbie starts to panic. He knows what Jade counting down means. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry" Robbie blurts quickly.
Jade smirks with satisfaction at Robbie's reaction. "Good. You should be."
"Can we please have one lunch where you don't scare Robbie excessively for no reason?"
Jade turns to Tori who's now approaching the table. "No. Of course not. It's fun for me to scare Robbie. It's one of my favorite hobbies."
Tori stands in front of the table for a few seconds. The only real spot for her to sit is right beside Jade. She thinks about the tension between her and Jade and is about to ask someone to trade with her but Jade interrupts.
"Take a seat, Tori. I won't bite. Not really." She makes a biting motion and then smiles widely at Tori. Tori stares at Jade's very white teeth that are on display in front of her.
Tori gulps and carefully takes a seat next to Jade. She leaves as much room as she can between them without falling off the bench.
Tori is rigid and completely awkward while sitting next to Jade. Jade notices because they're really not that far apart from each other since the bench is small. While Andre, Beck, Cat and Robbie are all talking to each other amongst themselves, Jade turns to Tori.
"Don't act so shy around me, Tori. We've made up and you didn't seem so shy this morning when you kissed me. What's changed?" Jade whispers into Tori's ear so nobody else can hear them.
Tori shivers with desire when Jade speaks slowly to her. Her voice is deep and a bit sultry. Tori tries to hide her attraction to Jade by narrowing her eyes at her. "I'm not shy," Tori whispers back to Jade. "I'm just…"
"Nervous?" Jade supplies for Tori when she takes too long to continue her sentence.
Tori rolls her eyes. "Oh, shut up."
Jade just smiles and tunes back into the conversation the rest of the gang is having. After that, the rest of lunch goes by quickly and the next thing they know, it's time for them to get to their afternoon classes.
Nothing interesting happens in Jade's afternoon classes except that she got partnered with Tori to do a project in their shared last period class. Jade is thankful that she's ahead in most of her other classes because that means she has little to no homework. Minus having to do a project with Tori. During class, they made plans for Jade to come over to Tori's house at 7:30 so they could get an early start on the workload they've got because of the assignment their teacher gave them.
After class Jade makes it over to her locker and puts the few books left in her bag back into her locker before closing it. Jade pulls out her phone and sends Beck a text telling him she'll be waiting at her car. Once the text to Beck is sent, Jade makes her way outside of the building and does exactly what she told Beck she'd do.
Jade waits outside at the front of her car for about ten minutes before starting to lean on it. Another five minutes pass before Jade spots Beck coming out of the building. She smiles when she sees him.
When Beck has finally reached Jade's car he smiles at her and puts his hands on her waist. He uses them to pull Jade closer to him and he kisses her sweetly on the lips before breaking away and kissing her forehead gently. Beck moves his thumbs back and forth across both of Jade's checks and looks into her eyes. "I missed you" he exclaims softly.
Jade can feel the blush on her cheeks when she replies "I missed you too."
He kisses her one more time on the lips before pulling away and walking to the passenger side of the car. When both her and Beck have gotten inside the car, Jade starts it and pulls out of the Hollywood Arts parking lot. Shortly after that Beck asks Jade how her day went.
"It went okay," she replies as she checks her mirrors and switches lanes. She turns her head and steals a glance at Beck. "How was your day? Did the rehearsal go well?"
Beck sighs and runs his hands through his hair. "It went well minus some production errors that shouldn't be happening still. They were small things but it can be frustrating when they accidentally bring the wrong props onto the wrong sets or get the lighting cues wrong."
Jade places her hand overtop of Beck's and gives it a squeeze. "I know those small things can drive you crazy but the mistakes can be fixed. Those small mistakes still have about two weeks to be perfected before the show. Just… give it some time and try to spend extra time with the people who need more of your help. Go over the cues and props and make sure you can give any kind of pointers or suggestions to help the people who are struggling remember or differentiate between things. If you know, spread your knowledge before you get upset and shut down. If you shut down nothing will get done."
Beck is silent for a few long moments and Jade worries she's given her boyfriend awful advice on a project he's been working really hard on. Jade knows Beck tends to be a perfectionist when it comes to his projects, especially when he's the director and it's for a grade or a class.
Jade is in the middle of having her internal freak out when Beck interrupts. "I love you. That's a great idea. I'll try that, thanks babe."
He takes her hand and brings it up to his lips. He gives it a kiss and lowers it in case she needs to take her hand back and use it to drive. After about fifteen minutes of driving, they arrive at Beck's place. Jade parks her car, turns it off and locks it once she and Beck have existed.
Once they're inside the RV Beck and Jade decide to just unwind and relax. They haven't really seen each other all day and they want to spend some alone time together. At 6:45 Jade's alarm goes off and she groans.
Beck smiles, "I guess that means you need to get ready."
Jade frowns and Beck kisses her frown away. Jade smiles into the kiss and gently bites Beck's lip before pulling away. "I really don't want to go."
"I know you don't." Beck runs his hand up and down Jade's bare arms. "I don't want you to go either, but, Tori is expecting you to come over so you work on your project."
Jade throws her head back. "Ugh, fine." She replies before getting out of bed and picking up her clothes from off of the floor. She puts her clothes in a black bag by the clothes and grabs one of the outfits she has in Beck's closet.
Fifteen minutes later Jade is dressed and ready to head over to Tori's house so they can work on their class project. Before she leaves she kisses Beck goodbye and gets into her car.
20 minutes after Jade gets to Tori's house Jade is already in a mood.
Jade groans loudly from her place on the couch at Tori's house. "Please be quiet. I can't even hear myself losing the will to live."
"Oh, come on Jade!" Tori exclaims hopefully. "Please," she adds sweetly.
"How many times do I have to say it?" Jade questions with a raised eyebrow.
Tori throws her arms up in exasperation. "You haven't said it once" she replies.
Jade shrugs her shoulders. "Well, the answer is no," she answers simply.
Tori crosses her arms over her chest. "I don't hear you coming up with any ideas."
Jade rolls her eyes. "Fine" she mumbles under her breath. "We can go with your stupid idea."
"Yes!" Tori exclaims excitedly before squinting her eyes in realizing that Jade called her idea stupid. "Also, my idea isn't stupid" she adds quickly after.
"Whatever" Jade answers coolly. "I don't really care. As long as I can get some peace and quiet for a few minutes."
Tori sticks her tongue out at Jade and Jade returns the gesture. Both girls soon get back to work on the beginnings of their assignment since they finally came up with a concept for the scene they're supposed to be writing.
