Fuuka's Last Kiss
Chapter XVI - The Waterfall Village - Part V
"Really? Whatever. Anyway - how about having a little fun with me?" - Fuuka
The battle had just begun, but it already seemed hopeless. They would not be able to hold out for long - not against such a superior number of enemies, in the middle of the village they had invaded. Nor did they have to, if only they had an ace up their sleeve. That was not the case - not yet. In Sai's view, the mission was already a failure. They had attracted too much attention and the risk that one of the Ninjas who belonged to Fuen's inner circle - like himself and Fuuka - would be caught was high. That couldn't happen, otherwise the operation would fail before it could even start. But if they could somehow manage to take Shibuki hostage, there would be a chance to get out of the whole thing with a minimum of fuss. That was the best the leader of the troupe could come up with - much to Fuuka's dissatisfaction, but she couldn't come up with a better idea neither.
They had managed to separate the leader of the village from his men, so Fuuka and Shibuki now faced each other alone, on the roof of his mansion, while the rest of the group kept the remaining Taki Ninja at bay - but Fuuka knew she didn't has much time before her allies would be overwhelmed. She had to deal with him quickly. Shibuki drew a sword from a long shaft of dark brown wood he carried on his back. The white moonlight reflected on it. His father's name - Hisen - was engraved on it. Fuuka smiled.
"Better not, you don't stand a chance against me anyway."
"I have no grudge against you. Hand over Hisame to me and I promise you will be allowed to leave the village unmolested. No one will stop you - despite the damage you have already caused. You have my word."
"Not a chance, boy."
"Do you even know who you are protecting? She has caused great suffering to this village and its people. That woman was involved in the killing of many innocent people."
Fuuka tilted her head and made a mocking face.
"As was I."
Shibuki hesitated for a brief moment and looked thoughtful. Then, when he made his decision, he didn't hesitate another second - he leapt resolutely towards her, holding the long blade in front of his face.
"Then you leave me no choice!"
"Where are you going?"
Sai deflected another Shuriken with his blade.
"I have plans - don't worry, I won't be gone for long."
Hisame threw him an amused smile that elicited an angry look even from the usually calm guy.
"What do you mean!? We..."
The Shinobi who had thrown the Shuriken now engaged in melee combat. Their swords clashed. Hisame took advantage of the situation to elude her. Using the cover provided by the patches of forest that lay between each quarter of the village, she made her way to the ancient shrine in front of Takigakure's great tree - the village's landmark. When she arrived in front of the red archway set up in front of it, she stopped. She was not alone.
"Freeze!"
Hisame complied. She turned around and realised that two Taki Shinobi had followed her this far.
"And here I was thinking my little plan would stay unnoticed."
"Do you think we didn't know what you were after from the beginning?"
They both drew their swords simultaneously. One of them walked in a semicircle around her - his blade pointing in her direction - aiming to cut off the brown-haired Kunoichi.
"Shibuki stopped you back then - and we will do the job now."
Hisame smiled. She grabbed a Kunai from her black Ninja bag attached to her right thigh and let it rotate around her finger before grabbing the weapon and holding it in front of her face.
"I guess I can't avoid getting my hands a little dirty after all."
Shibuki brought his sharp sword down on her, but Fuuka deftly dodged to the side to avoid his attack. He underestimated the smooth surface of the tiles on which he landed as he narrowly missed Fuuka. Taking advantage of the slight slant of the roof, Fuuka didn't need much to bring Shibuki down. She placed her hand gently on his chest and pressed lightly against it, smiling. Gravity did the rest, so that the leader of Takigakure lost his grip and was about to fall from the roof, but he just managed to hold on with one hand. He heard slow footsteps, followed by a short, sinister laugh.
"Hehehehe – you look so cute hanging there. What a brave boy you are."
Fuuka was enjoying this moment of him being completely at her mercy and had no intention of not enjoying the situation at least a little, despite all urgency.
„I might even spare you – if you let me have that body of yours."
"I have no idea what that means, but I'm certainly not going to make it that easy for you."
"First, I'm gonna knock the words out of that smart little mouth of yours."
"You may try – but I didn't see anything impressive yet."
The Kunoichi thought she could make out a subtle, yet smug smile on the boy's lips.
„What a shame."
Fuuka closed her eyes. Then she thrust her foot forcefully at his fingers, causing Shibuki to squint his eyes in pain and groan.
"You little brat. Sai was very emphatic that I was supposed to keep you alive." Fuuka grinned. „Oh well, everybody makes mistakes."
She raised her arm in the air and looked down angrily.
"Lightning-Style: Electric Needle Spark!"
Fuuka directed lightning bolts from her hand through her body. When they reached Shibuki, he cried out in pain.
"Argh!"
But Fuuka did not expect what happened next: even as the lightning bolts ate into his body and his fingers detached from the brick, he grabbed Fuuka's ankle with his other hand.
"AAHHH!"
With this deft manoeuvre, he redirected her Nin-Jutsu back at her, so that she was now hit by her own attack. Her legs also slumped in response, sending them both tumbling off the roof almost simultaneously. Still in the air, Shibuki took advantage of Fuuka's perplexity; he tightened his grip on Fuuka's ankle. Unable to oppose him at that moment, the woman was hurled against the mansion by him. Dust swirled and splinters flew into the air. Since the wall was made of wood, her body flew through the wall into the interior of the mansion. Shibuki, meanwhile, rolled on landing and came to stand unharmed in front of his mansion. He looked up. As the dust slowly cleared and he could not make out anything, he decided to enter his mansion through the main door.
"So here we are."
After Hisame had overpowered the two Taki Ninja foolish enough to stand in her way, she entered the interior of the shrine through a secret entrance, the existence and exact location of which she had been allowed to learn from Suien at the time. Between the large, subterranean roots of the tree, which reached deep underground, was a small, hidden cave, at the end of which stood a small, covered altar. In front of it were numerous small and large pools of turquoise-coloured water, the reflections of which gave off a luminous shimmer on the cave ceiling. Hisame walked towards the altar. Once there, she opened it carefully. The object of her desire presented itself before her greedy eyes in the form of a small container.
"At last - the Hero Water, it is mine!"
Hisame reached out her hands to appropriate this coveted and forbidden elixir, which was contained in a small green bottle with a brown string attached to it
"For being so intelligent, your attempts are very predictable."
The old familiar voice forced her to pause. She pulled a bitter face and turned around.
"Kakashi!"
The Jonin from Konoha held a hand to his hip and almost looked disappointed to find Hisame here. Either Kakashi had been freed or he found a way out of his cell and the cave himself.
"You didn't think you could just take the Hero Water and walk out of here just because the others were distracted, did you?"
Hisame shook her head.
"No, I did not think that."
"No?"
Kakashi lowered his gaze.
"I thought it would buy me a little time - before you show up here."
Before even the talented Kakashi could react, the bottle had already been opened and its contents had entered her body through the Kunoichi's mouth.
The interior of the mansion was anything but luxurious - Shibuki seemed to be a modest village chief. Slowly and carefully, he walked up the stairs - to the first floor of his mansion. Although the mansion was acoustically well shielded, he could easily hear the fighting outside. He entered the room where he had thrown the Kunoichi: but apart from the large hole on the wall that allowed the air to pass through and the wind to whistle, he could make out nothing and no one. His fingers gripped the dark blue hilt of his sword tighter, while his black eyes shone with concentration and focus through the shadowy corners of the room that were not illuminated by the light of the moon, which had now found its way into the interior of the mansion. Suddenly, the young ruler heard a hiss, and he was able to stop the Kunai of the Kunoichi in time before it could bore into his back.
"You're not bad – that's for sure. At least this promises to be entertaining."
"I'm glad to hear that. I feared I might bore you."
"Don't get me wrong: I'm really enjoying our little thing here, but unfortunately, I don't have much time to waste."
"Something we both agree on."
Shibuki released one hand from his sword hilt so that he was only holding Fuuka's Kunai away from him one-handed. He focused his Chakra on his now free hand and within no time his Chakra materialised into a shiny blue blade of ice - apparently the same technique Hisame had used earlier in the cave to parry Sai's attack.
"I'll end this now."
Shibuki was about to ram his water blade into her stomach, but Fuuka reacted quickly enough to stop it. She grabbed his arm and held the tip of his edged weapon at a distance. The beads of sweat forming on their skin and faces demonstrated the physical exertion of the two.
"Don't be too hasty, boy. There is so much you don't know yet – about women."
Fuuka had been able to replenish her supply of bodies, and even if Shibuki rammed his sword deep into her abdomen, it would not cause a life-threatening injury due to her demon transfer, but merely cost one of her bodies - but she would definitely lose that body if the damage was too great, which would be an unnecessary waste. But the boy was surprisingly strong - not without reason had he risen to become the leader of Takigakure, it seemed, and Fuuka couldn't help but to think about that other brat - Naruto Uzumaki - against whom she still harboured great resentment.
"Hehe - those lips of yours will be mine!"
Shibuki made a confused face.
"W-What?"
Before Shibuki could realize it, Fuuka's red lips pressed relentlessly against his. He didn't know how to react because he obviously didn't understand what was happening.
Chu - Kuchu... relo...
Fuuka watched as the boy's eyes widened in shock, and shortly after, the same lids slowly fell shut.
Kuchu... relo...
Good boy. Don't resist. Let me in!
Fuuka's tongue pushed deeper into his mouth.
She wasn't allowed to let her take over his body - not yet, which was why she didn't use her Reaper kiss - Sai was very clear about that. They still needed him to get out of the village. With Shibuki as a hostage, the group would have a higher chance of get out - Fuuka understood that, but the Kunoichi could sense the potential and strength lying dormant in him through her kissing, which was why she found it very hard to resist.
He's strong. What a waste of potential. I could make much better use of it.
Taking advantage of the boy's confusion, she clenched her hand into a fist to disable him. But Shibuki opened his eyes and grabbed her by her arms. Apparently Shibuki regained his composure faster than Fuuka had presumed. Without another word, Shibuki tried to fling her away from him again, but Fuuka broke free of his grasp and now grabbed the boy by his arms. Fuuka glared angrily into his eyes. Unimpressed, Shibuki pulled his arms back and deftly slipped his own hands into Fuuka's so that their fingers were superimposed and their palms pressed together. Fuuka's annoyed features dissolved and gave way to a surprised expression as he was then about to walk towards her. Fuuka had no choice but to walk backwards to avoid tripping until her back hit the wooden wall.
"What... what you think you're doing?"
Shibuki's face came closer so that the tips of their noses were almost touching. Fuuka's dark blue eyes stared into his in disbelief.
Kakashi didn't need to use his Sharingan eye to see the blue masses of Chakra visibly pouring out of Hisame's body after she had drunk the Hero's Water.
"Incredible..."
"NOW YOU'RE FINISHED!" she shouted in his direction. Her lust for this fight was more than obvious. Hisame had waited a long time to fight him. Now she was prepared.
The Jonin bent his knees and went into a defensive position, unsure of what would happen now. But before his knees had fully bowed, Hisame's fist was already about to eat into his cheek. It was only thanks to his Sharingan that he was able to hold his arms in front of his face in time to cushion the blow to some extent. Despite his quick reaction to Hisame's lightning-fast attack, the force of her punch threw his body against the altar in front of whom Hisame had just been standing. Dust swirled up. The sacred altar was destroyed, that much was certain. Not the first shrine or whatever Hisame had desecrated, but the Kunoichi of Amegakure had never cared much for the feelings of others either way. She looked down at her fist, still clenched, and smiled.
I can feel it... This strength... flowing through my body.
Unlike the altar, Kakashi's body wasn't destroyed yet, she was sure of that. She would also have been disappointed if that had been the case. Her hope was confirmed: a deafening, electrifying hiss could be heard - Kakashi was indeed not finished.
It wasn't unusual for someone else to take the initiative towards her, after all Fuuka was quite attractive by objective standards, but given the circumstances she still hadn't expected it. A turn of events that Fuuka knew how to exploit in her favour. She smiled seductively.
"Hmph - you think you have what it takes to handle me? I doubt it."
Shibuki decided to let actions speak instead of words. He slid his arms around her waist, closed his eyes and kissed her softly - almost gently - on the lips.
Chu...
Then he released his lips from her mouth again and looked into her eyes, as if hoping for a word of praise and affirmation from her.
"You are far too shy, cutie. Let me take a guess: you probably haven't had much experience with women, have you?"
Shibuki's face flushed red after this statement. Embarrassed, he broke eye contact and looked around.
"Well... I... I..."
"Hehehe - no need to be embarrassed, boy. Everyone starts from scratch."
She reached for his red scarf.
"Let me show you how it's done."
Fuuka put both hands on his face, spread her long fingers on his cheeks and pressed them together. She closed her eyes.
"Your first time..."
Nchu... kuchu relo... chiu... n...relo...
"CHIDORI!"
All other sources of light were negated, and the cave they were in was suddenly pitch black - the only light now emanating from the concentrated electricity under Kakashi's palm, and Hisame couldn't help but stare in astonishment, mouth agape, in his direction. Then he ran towards her in quick zig-zag manoeuvres. Hisame then formed finger signs.
"Water-Style: Water Dragon!"
Water fountains several metres high suddenly sprang from the pools around them, forming into three dragon-like shapes. With their long mouths in front, they charged at the attacker from the front, from behind and from above. Kakashi stretched out his arm and the dragon, which met him head-on with its yellow-glowing eyes, imploded on the spot. He dodged the dragon from above by jumping to the side, but that gave the last one the opportunity to eat into his back - which it did. The characteristic chirping of his special technique became quieter, as if the birds had moved on. Kakashi came flying right towards Hisame. Smiling, she spread her fingers and a blade of turquoise ice appeared. She took the blade in her hand and prepared herself. Hisame grinned in victory.
"You're doomed. I win."
The sky was getting lighter, the dawn was announcing itself. Shibuki stood on the roof of the estate and spoke to his men and women.
"Release them."
Sai and Sumire stood in the middle of the column of Ninjas who had beaten them - they were injured, but not badly. Judging by the white bandages, their wounds seemed to have been taken care of. Apparently Shibuki had given the order beforehand to take them alive. But the perplexity and confusion was written on almost everyone's face - including the two.
"W-What?"
Restless whispering spread among them.
"You heard me."
They hesitated, but only briefly. Two of the masked Shinobi approached them and cut off their bonds. Then, suddenly, they saw a familiar person approach, join Shibuki, folding her arms and look down at them.
Sai suppressed the need to yell „WHAT THE...?" at them.
Fuuka smiled smugly and contentedly, and Sai could almost feel how much she was enjoying the sight and the situation as such. If what Sai suspected was true, Fuuka had saved not only them but the operation as a whole - probably even more than that; she had pulled Shibuki to her side. His long black and Fuuka's even longer red hair fluttered in the morning breeze as the first rays of sunlight found their way through the dense canopy of the large tree that spanned the entire village. Sai was greatful, nevertheless.
"You too."
Shibuki looked at Kakashi, who carried Hisame on his shoulders - apparently she was unconscious. He hesitated.
"Kakashi, please," Shibuki added. His tone suggested that it was anything but a request.
Kakashi was confused too - even if he didn't showed it, but Sai was an excellent judge of character and, besides that, he knew his old Sensei very well. He could read Kakashi's emotions from his eye as he handed him the unconscious woman and gave him an accusing and disappointed look. Sai carefully laid Hisame on the floor and Sumire bent down to her. Kakashi gazed silently into Sai's eyes for a moment. Sai didn't need to hear his words to know what he had to say. Then Kakashi turned and left the scene. Apparently Kakashi didn't want to risk a diplomatic incident, so he complied with Shibuki's request. Fuuka, meanwhile, put her hand on Shibuki's shoulder. Shibuki made a determined gesture.
"A new era is dawning. A new era for the Hidden Waterfall Village!"
