About a title. I only say I regret nothing :DD

Serena woke up because she was freezing. She slowly opened her eyes and let them get used to the darkness of the tent. At the same time, she felt Ash sleeping next to her breathe evenly, sometimes mumbling something sleepily. Serena smiled tenderly at him and pressed a small kiss to the boy's forehead. It made a smile rise on Ash's lips and Serena wondered what he dreamed about.

Serena sat up and realized at the same time that the tent was freezing cold. She saw her breath mist in the air and felt goosebumps run along her spine. She shivered a little and instinctively wrapped her arms around her body to warm herself. It didn't help much and Serena was freezing even more now when she was no longer inside her sleeping bag.

It had been a few days since they had found the castle, and during that time they had left the plain behind. They had traveled further and further north and had set up their camp in a small spruce forest the night before. Serena had said that after that forest, Circhester would be about a day's journey away and Ash, in particular, had been excited to hear it.

But now, Serena realized, it was only very early morning and the trip should wait a little longer. She was interested to know why the tent had turned so cold during the night, so against the command of her freezing body, she got up and quietly crawled into the tent door. She avoid not waking Ash or Pikachu, who was sleeping curled up next to Ash, and quietly opened the tent zipper.

Cold air flooded her face and she drifted away in astonishment. It was clearly colder outside than Serena had expected. However, it only made her even more curious, and she tore open the zipper and pushed her head out the door.

A marvelous view opened up in front of h. The night had clearly been frosty and now the moisture that had been on the ground and in the trees before that had been frozen. The ground was covered with white frost, which sparkled in the rays of the morning sun, and the branches of the spruces were white from the frost. It was strangely quiet and the only sound came from Serena's breath.

Serena watched that beautiful sight for a moment until she realized she was freezing properly and pulled back into the tent. However, she was no longer tired at all and on the contrary she felt completely refreshed. And after thinking for a moment, she came up with a good idea and crawled up to Ash.

"Ash, wake up," she whispered and shook the boy a little. Ash mumbled something vague and turned his side, but didn't wake up. However, Serena didn't give up, but shook Ash again, this time a little stronger, and said again, "C'mon Ash, wake up!"

This time Ash turned on his back and opened his eyes. "What's wrong?" he asked yawning and got up to sit asleep. "And why is it so cold here?"

"Come on, I want to show you something!" said Serena excitedly, ignoring Ash's questions. She grabbed the boy by the hand and began to pull this towards the tent door. "Come on, take a look!

"Okay," Ash said, yawning and a little puzzled by what was suddenly so important to show. He meandered out of his sleeping bag and shivered when he realized how cold it was in the tent. He crawled to the tent door, looking questioningly at his girlfriend.

"Look," Serena said, tearing open the tent door. Ash moved closer to the door, curious to see what had made Serena so excited, and peeked curiously out. And breathed.

"Wow!" was the word that Ash released from his mouth when he saw in front of him the same vision that Serena had seen. He looked at the land covered with frost with equal admiration, not caring at all about the cold air that made the skin hairs of his bare arms stand up. The sight really was worth seeing.

Ash retreated back to the tent and saw Serena look at him with her head tilted and a questioning smile on her face. "Well?" she said and in response Ash grinned broadly.

"Now I realize why you woke me up," he said and a certain sheen ignited in his eyes, which Serena had always seen appear before the adventure. "And that's why I think we should look it a little more closely."

"Yeah, you're right," Serena said, smiling and pulling her bag closer to herself.

After a while, they had put on a little warmer clothing, and were now ready to explore what it would be like in a frost-frosted forest. They left Pikachu and the other Pokemon to sleep peacefully in the tent, and then stepped out.

The air was as cool as before and their breaths rose in a mist into the air. However, they did not allow it to disturb, but grabbed each other by the hand and set out to walk along a small path that led directly away from the camp.

The land covered with frost creaked under their feet as they walked forward. They walked in silence, hands joined, but it didn't really bother them. It was nice of them just to walk in that quiet, frosty forest in two, without thinking about anything else.

After walking for a while, Serena suddenly felt something white and cold land on her nose. She looked up in amazement, and then another white, cold flake hovered over her face. Soon they were hovering a few more, and Serena realized it had started to snow.

Her mouth spread into a wide smile and a childlike joy ignited inside her. "Ash, look! It's starting to snow!" she exclaimed and turned to look at the boy. Her blue eyes twinkled with joy and Ash grinned wide.

"Yeah, that's right," he said, and then began to pull Serena forward. "Come on, let's move on! I want to see what this forest is like!"

"Okay!" said Serena with a smile, and then they set out to run along the path as the snowing gradually grew harder.

They ran along the forest, which was slowly frosted white by snow. The spruces had soon taken on a white cover, and a small layer of snow piled up on the ground. A few curious Pokemon appeared behind the trees when they heard their laughter, but soon withdrew to continue their own things.

Eventually, Serena felt like she couldn't run a meter anymore. She took her grip off from Ash's hand, and sat down on a small tree trunk lying on the ground, which snow had turned white. She closed her eyes and had a deep sigh when she suddenly felt something hard, but still soft, hit her head.

"Wha..!" she exclaimed, and turned around at lightning speed, while rubbing her head. She felt snow under her mitten and saw a grinning Ash standing a short distance away, a newly made snowball in his hand. He threw it up and down, and Serena asked, a little irritated, "Why did you do that?"

"It was revenge," Ash said with a grin and stopped the snowball. "I guess you remember Snowbelle City? Because at least I remember..."

"Oh, really?" said Serena, and a mischievous grin spread across her face. She scooped a small handful of snow off the ground and quickly spun it into a ball. "Then you will probably also remember that my aiming skills should not be underestimated! Take this!"

She threw the ball she made towards Ash, who, however, dodged it agilely. "You little...!" he exclaimed with a laugh, and threw his own ball towards Serena. Now it was Serena's turn to dodge and quickly make her own defense to the situation.

Soon they were in a full-scale snowball fight. They spun laughing and throwing snowballs along the little opening they were in, trying to hit each other. However, it wasn't as easy as it sounded, as Ash had developed good reflexes with Pokemon battles, and the performances had also increased Serena's agility.

Soon the small square on which they had spun was almost completely snow-free. The snow falling from the sky didn't have time to cover the ground fast enough, so the snow they needed for their snowballs was slowly running out. And that would know the end of their snowball fight that time.

However, Serena had no intention of surrendering yet. She noticed there wasn't snow near her anymore, so she moved a little further to pick it up to spin a new ball.

However, she did not notice that at that point the path began to descend. So when Serena ran quickly to scoop the snow off the ground, she managed to slip and fall to the ground. And because the hill took the point down at that point, she of course started to spin down.

"Ah!" she exclaimed and spin all the way down the hill and then lay down on the ground. "Serena!" exclaimed Ash when he saw it, and ran quickly down the hill. He saw Serena lying on the ground a short distance away and worried that something serious had happened to her. He hurried to his girlfriend and asked, "Are you okay?"

However, Serena didn't answer right away, and Ash was really worried that something had really happened to her. "Serena, are you mpph...!" he tried to repeat, but his sentence ended with a big pile of snow flying on his face and a very familiar giggle was heard up close.

"Gotcha! I won!" he heard Serena say with a laugh as he wiped the snow from his face in astonishment. After getting most of the snow off from his eyes, he saw Serena sitting on the ground with a smug look on her face and mittens and a beanie full of snow.

"After all, I said I shouldn't be underestimated," she stated mischievously and grinned. Ash wiped the last snow from his face and then said, "Oh really? Well, what do you say about this then?!"

Then he suddenly rushed towards Serena, ready to give her his revenge. Serena screamed and spun laughing out of his grip. She stood up agilely and set off, laughing, run away along the open snowfield that the hill had led to. It was actually a frozen little lake, but they didn't know it at the time.

Ash quickly ran after Serena and caught this quickly. "Hahaa! I got you!" he said with a grin as he caught Serena and Serena giggled as she tried to shake off. It didn't work out and in that rush they just managed to fall to the ground.

They fell into the soft snow and were left to spin in it. Serena giggled as Ash tried to tickle her and said, "Ash, stop! You know I'm ticklish!"

"Yup!" said Ash grinning and continued to tickle Serena. However, Serena soon got pushed him off and twisted back up.

"You horrible boy," she said as she stood up, but a smile curled up in her mouth. Ash smirked at her and also got up. Serena looked at him for a moment until she shook her head slightly, then looked around with interest.

"What place is this?" she thought aloud and looked at the snowy landscape around her. "This is too big to be a forest square"

"I think this is a lake," said Ash and Serena turned to look at him. She watched as Ash squatted and wiped the snow with his hand. Soon dark and hard ice was exposed under the snow, which he knocked with his hand. "Yep. Like I thought. Frozen lake"

"I wonder how deep is it?" Serena thought as she squatted opposite Ash. She didn't really like the idea that they might be standing on a very deep lake without knowing how durable its ice would be. "It wouldn't be nice if the ice broke now and we fell into the cold water and drowned"

"Don't worry, I'm sure it won't," Ash comforted, but Serena was still a little worried. Her mother had always reminded her when she was little that she was not allowed to go on the ice unless she knew it would certainly stand her. And now Serena had done so, albeit a little accidentally. Ash noticed that Serena was still looking a little worried and took this by the hand.

"Hey, don't worry," he said and Serena looked up. She looked directly into Ash's eyes with her beautiful blue eyes and Ash noticed that there were a few small snowflakes on her lashes. Her cheeks and nose were red and she bit her lip a little. Damn, she's cute, Ash thought and felt how red that wasn't due to the air frost, spread into his cheeks. However, he didn't pay attention to it, but continued, "As I said, I'm sure this will stand us. It's not broken yet, and it won't, I promise it."

"It's a little tricky to promise something that can't be influenced very much by yourself," Serena said, but no longer seemed so worried. Instead, she got up and stretched her arms and legs a little. "Besides, I don't want to think about it anymore. Instead, think about what kind of place Circhester might be. Definitely cold if it's already snowing here."

"Yeah..." Ash said, a little distracted. He had forgotten to look at Serena, and was now baffled by what he saw in front of him. For just then was the sun reappearing behind the clouds, setting its rays on the ground. One of those rays hit exactly where Serena was and made her honey-blonde curls shine beautifully. A few more snowflakes hovered around her, which the sun turned into sparkling pearls and looked as if she had stood in the sparkling rain. Her cheeks and nose were reddened by frost, and it made her look very cute.

Ash got up and walked quickly to Serena. Serena noticed his arrival and turned to look at him with a smile. Her smile made her look even more beautiful and Ash felt his heart pounding in his chest as he looked at Serena. Why hadn't he realized before how beautiful Serena really was?

"Ash, look! Snowflakes look just like glittering diamonds when sunlight hits them!" said Serena in delight and pointed at the fluttering flakes slowly from the sky. She smiled broadly and her smile revealed her beautiful white teeth.

Ash couldn't help, but do it. He grabbed Serena by the hand and made Serena look at it a little puzzled. "Ash, what...," she began, but couldn't finish her sentence as Ash pressed his lips gently against her lips. She was a little surprised by this sudden kiss, but did not let it disturb her, but wrapped her arms around Ash and responded to the kiss.

In it they stood, pressed against each other, kissing in the light of the first rays of the morning sun. They completely forgot the rest of the world, for them at that moment there was nothing but the two of them. Far away in their camp, Gou and Chloe had just woken up, but they didn't know it. The world had narrowed to a very small one at that time and that was enough for them.

Finally, Serena felt compelled to get oxygen, and she disengaged a little wistfully from the kiss. She found herself looking directly into Ash's deep auburn eyes and saw this smiling. A smile grew over Serena's lips as well, and she pressed her forehead against Ash's forehead with a smile.

"You don't even know how much I love you," she said, and saw Ash's eyes twinkle happily. It made her heartbeat, and at that moment she felt very happy.

"I don't need to know, you show it to me every day," Ash said, pressing a light kiss on Serena's forehead. It made Serena's smile widen a little and she hugged Ash tightly. "Promise you will always stay by my side," she whispered and felt Ash wrap his arms around her.

"I promise," he whispered back and they stood there for a moment hugging each other. Serena loved being in it, feeling Ash's strong and muscular body against her own. She didn't want to move anywhere from it, but eventually Ash broke away from the hug and said, "Should we go back to camp?"

"It would probably be the best," Serena said, grabbing Ash by the hand. Then they set out to walk back toward the camp, holding each other by the hand and between them was all the love they felt for each other.

"There you are! We wonder where you were lost!" exclaimed Gou when Ash and Serena finally arrived back at camp. He had just poured warm cocoa into the mugs and Pikachu, who had watched that with interest, now set off to run towards his trainer.

"Pikapi!" exclaimed Pikachu as he reached them and Ash smiled. "Hey buddy," he said as Pikachu jumped on his shoulder and rubbed his head against his head. He scratched Pikachu from behind this ear and Pikachu cooed with satisfaction. Serena smiled at them, but then turned to look at Gou and Chloe, who has wrapped a blanket around her, to which Gou had just handed out a cup of cocoa.

"Sorry we left without announcing," she said apologetically, but Gou just shook his head. "Nah, it doesn't matter," he said and handed Ash and Pikachu the cocoa mugs. These thanked him. "You two needed some private time. I don't blame you for that."

He gave them a significant look that made Serena blush a little. She quickly took a cocoa mug that Gou offered and suddenly took a huge interest in the branches of nearby spruce.

Gou noticed it and grinned to himself. Ash, on the other hand, didn't seem to notice anything, for he had just noticed Lucario, creeping behind nearby trees with the usual grumpy look on his face. "Sorry, Pikachu, would you wait a minute here?" he said to Pikachu and then walked a few quick steps to Lucario. "Pika?" said Pikachu questioningly as they stayed to see how Ash spoke something to Lucario.

They watched as the two discussed something silently until Ash suddenly turned angrily and marched angrily to his tent. Serena sighed when she saw it and said, "I'll take care of this. Thanks, Gou, the cocoa was really good." Having said that, she lowered her empty cocoa mug onto their portable camping table and quickly stepped after Ash into the tent.

Gou and Chloe watched her go until the tent door closed again. "Hopeless," Gou said, watching Lucario marching somewhere again.

"Yeah," Chloe said, placing her cocoa mug next to Serena's mug. "Do you think Ash and Lucario will ever agree on whatever they're arguing about?"

"Certainly," Gou said, smiling at Chloe. Chloe felt her cheeks blush slightly, and raised her blanket a little higher. "But it won't happen today, I'm sure of that. Instead, we should probably start pack the camp. Circhester isn't far away, and if we leave now, we'll get there before night."

"Let's do that then," Chloe said and stood up. She quickly stepped inside their tent to pack her belongings. Gou looked after her for a moment until he turned to Pikachu and said to him, "Let's clean the table."

"Pikachu!" said Pikachu happily and stayed to help Gou clean the table. Neither of them noticed Lucario, who disappeared into the woods again and returned after a long time.

About half an hour later, they had had their camp dismantled and were on their way again to Circhester and Ash's sixth Gym battle. He had already forgotten his quarrel with Lucario and was now laughing at something that Serena was currently telling.

They now walked along a small forest path lined with spruce trees, which, however, was not the same as Ash and Serena had walked in the morning. The air was still cold, but the sun had begun to shine again. Its light reflected from the snow on the ground and made Serena wish she had remembered to bring her sunglasses.

Lucario had finally joined the company of others and loitered grumpily after Ash and Serena. He was still angry at Greninja for what had happened at the castle and was thinking of ways to take revenge on him. But just as he was near a good solution, there was a scream behind him that confused his thoughts.

"What was that?! Who screamed?!" exclaimed Ash as he heard it as well and looked around in confusion. Lucario formed an Aura stick with his paw ready to attack any attacker and Pikachu, sitting on Ash's shoulder, watched vigilantly around with sparks in his cheeks.

"It was Chloe," Serena said, pointing to the girl behind them jumping down the path and apparently trying to get something out of her hair. "Something has apparently stuck to her hair"

"Yeah," Gou said, pointing to an object on Chloe's head that resembled a small pile of snow. "Look, it moved"

"I don't care what it is, take it away!" Chloe exclaimed and tried to get the creature out of her head. She had passed one a spruce tree near a path when she had accidentally swung its branch. It had dropped snow on her head and neck, but apparently something else had come with the snow. And that something she was now trying to get out of her hair.

"Stay still, I'll take it off," Gou said and stepped closer ready to help the girl. However, he didn't have time to do anything, as Chloe had gotten the creature in her hair out and threw it on the ground in disgust.

The creature thudded into the snow and glared at Chloe angrily. It resembled a small white larva with transparent icicles on its back. It had two small, black eyes, and with them it now glared at them, especially Chloe.

The group gathered curiously around it and Ash said, "Is it a Pokemon? I haven't seen anything like it before"

"It's pretty cute," Serena said, and Chloe, whose disgust had turned into curiosity, agreed. Gou took out his Rotom and scanned a small Pokemon with it:

"Snom, Worm Pokemon and Ice- and Bug-type. It spits out thread imbued with a frigid sort of energy and uses it to tie its body to branches, disguising itself as an icicle while it sleeps"

"Snom, huh?" said Ash and scratched his head. Then he looked at Chloe and suddenly seemed to get the idea. "Hey Chloe, what if you caught Snom? It seems to like you!"

"What!?" exclaimed Chloe in surprise and shook her head. "No, no, I'm not a trainer, I can't!"

"Nonsense, everyone can be a trainer if they just want to," Ash said with an encouraging smile and handed Chloe an empty Pokeball. "Look, Snom is really waiting for you to battle it."

He handed the Pokeball to Chloe's hand and she stared it a little puzzled. Then she turned her gaze to Snom, who was still on the snow. It stared at Chloe with its black eyes and Chloe stared back. Then she wrapped her hand resolutely around the Pokeball and said, "Okay, I'll do it!"

"That's the right attitude!" said Ash grinning and Chloe nodded. She was still staring at Snom, who was staring back, as if to say, "Come on, show what you have to offer." It made Chloe take a determined look on her face and she exclaimed, "All right! Pokeball, go!"

She threw it towards Snom, where it hit, and Snom disappeared inside it. Chloe held her breath as the ball spun once, twice, until it suddenly burst open and Snom appeared back on the snow.

"It wants you to battle it!" said Ash and Chloe nodded. "Right," she said, then picked up her only Pokeball. "Yamper, let's go!" she exclaimed and then threw the ball in the air.

A small corgi Pokemon appeared in front of her and barked. He looked at Chloe with interest and she said, "Yamper, let's show others how we caught a Pokemon. Use Spark!"

Yamper barked and plunged towards Snom surrounded by electricity. It almost touched Snom, but then a little snow worm opened its mouth and blew a cloud of snow over Yamper. It hit Yamper directly in the eyes and made him stop and rub his eyes with his paws.

"Oh no," Chloe said as Yamper rubbed his eyes with his paws, which were now covered with a thin layer of ice. "That wasn't in the plan"

"Don't give up!" exclaimed Ash and Pikachu also shouted, "Pika pika!" "Yeah, go on, Chloe!" also shouted Gou and Chloe nodded resolutely.

"All right," she said, looking worriedly at Yamper, who was trying to rub the ice out of his eyes. Snom seemed to grin smugly, though there was no difference in its face. Think, Chloe, think, Chloe commanded herself and tried to come up with a solution to the problem. There must be some solution... And suddenly she came up with!

"Yamper, you can't see, but you still have hearing and smell. So, smell your way to Snom while I tell you what to do!" she exclaimed and Yamper barked in response. He settled in again and Chloe said, "Okay, new try. Yamper, let's go!"

Yamper barked and set off to run blindly towards Snom. Chloe controlled it with her voice and Yamper's excellent sense of smell was also helpful. However, Snom had not decided to give up easily, but opened her mouth and spat snow again towards Yamper.

"Dodge to the left!" exclaimed Chloe and Yamper jumped to the left. Snom's Powder Snow went past it and hit the tree next to Lucario. Chloe seemed excited that her plan was working, and she exclaimed, "Now Yamper, jump and use Bite!"

Yamper jumped into the air and a pair of shimmering, sharp teeth appeared in front of it. Then he opened them big and bit Snom, and it made it shudder. Chloe saw her opportunity come and threw another empty Pokeball towards it, while exclaiming, "Pokeball, go!"

The ball hit Snom and it disappeared inside it. As Yamper landed back on the ground, Chloe watched again, holding her breath as the ball spun once, twice, three times, and finally clicking, indicating that Snom had been successfully caught.

"Yes!" Chloe exclaimed and jumped excitedly into the air. She had just caught the wild Pokemon all by herself and she was very proud of herself and her Yamper. She quickly rushed to Pokeball and took it in her hand. She felt its weight for a moment with her hand, until she lifted the ball into the air and exclaimed, "I just caught a Snom!"

"That's awesome!" said Gou and raised his thumbs up. Ash instead grinned broadly and said, "I told you you could do it."

"Yeah," Chloe said, watching the Pokeball and then smiled. Then she pointed the ball towards the ground and soon Snom had appeared in front of her.

"Hi Snom!" she said to the little bug Pokemon and squatted next to it. Yamper spin next to her, just to collide with her leg and Chloe said, "Oops, sorry Yamper, I forgot." She took the Pokemon in her arms and rubbed the ice out of its face. After she had done that, Yamper barked happily and licked her cheek in thanks.

Chloe giggled and said, "Stop Yamper, it tickles!" She pushed her Pokemon lower and then tried again.

"I'm Chloe and this is Yamper," she introduced herself and her Yamper. "Those over there are Ash, Pikachu, Serena, Gou and Lucario. I guess I'll be your trainer from now on, so hopefully we'll have fun together."

In response, Snom waved her pincers happily and Chloe smiled at it. The little bug was so cute and she wanted to hug it firmly. However, she did not do so, but lifted Snom top of her head, where it remained contentedly waving her pincers.

After Chloe had caught a Snom, the journey continued. The day had become sunny and the shining sun caused the snow to melt and drip from the branches of the trees to their necks. However, they didn't care much about it, as it was nice for them to walk in the woods and enjoy the sunlight.

Gradually, however, the forest began to thin out and the roofs and chimneys of the houses began to loom in front of them. They now realized they were really close to Circhester and the idea of the city made them increase their pace. And suddenly, the trees ran out and they found themselves watching the Circhester opening in front of them from the top of a high hill.

The snowfall had also reached the city and frosted the roofs of its houses as well as the streets with pure white snow. Smoke rose from the chimneys of the houses, and the city seemed to be straight from the old Christmas card.

"Beautiful," Serena said in delight and Ash nodded. "Yeah, that's right," he also said, but then waved his hand, referring others to follow. "Come on, let's go! I want to see what kind of city Circhester really is!"

They ran down the hill and stepped along a snow-covered road to Circhester. A few local residents who were sweeping snow from their yards smiled kindly at them, and they smiled back. A few Rookidee flew over their heads and landed on the top of a snowy tree. In one yard they saw two children making Charizard from Snow, and heard another of them say, "This is going to be as awesome as Champion Leon's Charizard!"

"I wonder how Hop's doing?" Ash said suddenly as the children were left laughing to build flames for Charizard. Mentioning Champion Leon had reminded him of him. "We haven't seen him in a long time"

"Hop?" asked Chloe a little puzzled and Gou explained, "He's Galar's Champion Leon's little brother. We met them when we stopped at Postwick"

"Oh, I see," Chloe said, understanding the matter, and Serena said, "I don't know, but I'm sure we'll meet him again soon. After all, you're missing only three Gym badges before the League, right, Ash?"

"Yep, and that's why I can't wait to get to challenge Circhester Gym!" said Ash excitedly and Pikachu on his shoulder also said, "Pika pikachu!" "Come on, let's go!"

He was already about to step in the direction he was supposed the Gym be, but stopped when there was a clear growl in his stomach. He looked a little embarrassed and said, "Eh, maybe we should eat something first, though."

"Yeah, maybe," said Serena with sweatdrop and Gou tapped something on his Rotom. "There should be a little restaurant thing nearby. We can go there."

"Great, let's go then!" said Ash and marched forward. Gou sighed when he saw it and said, "Ash, you're going in the wrong direction. The restaurant is here." He pointed to the left and Ash laughed a little embarrassed.

"Oops, maybe it's better that you show the way," he said and Gou rolled his eyes. "Maybe it is," he muttered, but then pointed at others to follow. "Come on, I'll show you the way"

Guided by Gou, they quickly found a restaurant. It was reminiscent of other houses in Circhester, but it had a large window with a picture of a man standing with his thumbs up and the name: "Bob's Your Uncle" It was the stupidest name of restaurant Serena had ever seen, but her growling stomach didn't care but demanded to get inside.

Gou opened the restaurant door and the heady scent of pizza and burgers flooded in front of them. The restaurant was reminiscent of a regular burger place inside. On its walls were plaques with menus written on them, a yellow-red-striped counter dominated its space, and a few people ate in front of it. Next to its windows were also ordinary, four-person tables and its brick walls were decorated with various colorful posters.

It was also hot inside and it made them open the zippers of their winter jackets. They just had time to take a step forward when a familiar voice was heard from somewhere.

"Ash! Serena! Over there!" they heard a voice shouting and saw a familiar orange-haired woman waving at them from one corner table. They hurried to her quickly and Ash said with a grin, "Hi Sonia, for a long time!"

"Yup!" said Sonia and made room so that Gou and Chloe could fit next to her. "Nice to see you face to face again. It's been a while since we last did that."

"Yep," Gou said and then remembered something. "Oh yeah, Sonia, here it is..." he began, but suddenly Sonia ended the sentence before him.

"Chloe Cerise. I know," she said with a smile and Gou looked surprised. "How..." he began, but Sonia just laughed and said, "Grandma knows Professor Cerise and his family pretty well, so I've gotten to know them too."

"Your grandma? Oh, right, Professor Magnolia," Ash said, remembering that Sonia's grandmother was Galar's leading Pokemon professor.

That's when the waitress came to their table and asked what they wanted to order. Because Ash was very hungry, he ordered the biggest pizza found in the restaurant. He was going to eat it with Pikachu. Others only took small burgers and drinks and when the order was made, the waitress nodded and promised that the food would come soon.

In the meantime, the group had more to talk about. Ash quickly told Sonia about the castle and its secret corridors and Sonia listened with interest. Talking about the castle also made Serena remember the diary she had taken from the castle, and she dug it out of her backpack.

"We found this, too," she said, tossing the book on the table. A small cloud of dust flew from it, causing Chloe and Sonia to cough and Pikachu to sneeze. After the dust had settled, Sonia took the book in her hand and began to browse it. "Admittedly, I don't know if it's very interesting."

"Actually..." Sonia said as she laid the book back on the table and a wide smile spread across her face. "Serena, you must have found a real treasure! This book is probably the most important thing that I've ever seen!"
