The Magnificent Live to See Walking Trees
No one believed when David overtook Goliath
When the heavens rose and an ice age dispersed
Chipped blocks of ice lay in the road
A gentle breeze blew across the ocean
The eyes in the night sky searched far and beyond
Just as those who polluted the air with hatred
And yet in the end
All we have to remind ourselves was a picture perfect monument
Of what once stood as a symbol beyond our understanding
Is now only a mere picture behind the truth?
So shall this end
And all will forget the past
All the empires kingdoms that once stood
And now the poverty stricken wanders the streets
Each one wearing a crown and a loaf of bread
Tell me that you avoided the disease
And what you came up with was better then a cure
Bring back the ability of live on such rations
The hurricane is over
And the people walk along the shore lines as the sun brings back hope
Stop the pain before it decapitates
This world is at ease again
Just as the forests have grown together
Their roots soiled among the tracks left behind
And I have left my legacy
This is my world
Isn't it wonderful?
For the magnificent live to see walking trees
