The infirmary was the best place to play around. El was ready with a bunch of limes on his bag. Squeezing limes to fresh wounds was his hobby, after all. The first person he approached was actually not Raven (his usual target), but Rena. Ara knew how bad this would be, so she had to stop him. "Don't–!"
Squeeze…
Rena suddenly regained consciousness to scream in pain. She glared at El and grabbed his collar with a threatening aura around her. "What in the world are you trying to get from this?"
"Fun! Hm… That's it, nothing else," El smiled and stared at Rena. He didn't feel guilty nor afraid of the most magical physical teacher. He did what he wanted and nothing more.
"You guys looked fine! I guess it was a battle of words, after all?" Aisha smiled and clapped her hands at the couple.
"Of course it is. I have no intention to stall the battle," Eve nodded proudly and smiled back. They could do more, but why do more if they can just talk and win?
"So you two are actually leaving me?" Elesis asked with tears in her eyes. Back in the previous story, Els and Eve were flirting with each other about how Els would wait forever until Eve reached the highest rank and graduated together… in front of Elesis. So the sister felt like she would be left behind; and now she actually did get left behind.
"There, there. I'll be here forever until I want to leave," El smiled and patted Elesis' head. The little sister actually cried and buried her face on El's body.
"Who would've known! From running away from El every day to being overly attached now," Ain clapped her hands and nodded his head with a smile. He glanced at Els, who felt guilty about leaving her behind. "You mad, Els?"
Up until last year, Elesis always ran away from El because the certain big brother was always bullying him with the purpose to make her get mad and fight back for once. Sadly it never happened until El said it to her directly.
"Well…" Els couldn't say anything to what was happening. Ain decided to show himself anyway, so Elesis should be safe even without him, no? "Don't make me sound so useless…" Els sighed at the author's words.
"You are that useless, though. Did you give any huge impact in the previous story?" Add asked as he tilted his head a bit.
The previous story was about the Triplets; El, Ara, and Aisha, going out for a mission to get poison from plants in an underground garden cave at Feita. Turns out the poison was used to create a toxic potion–something to make someone get stronger in exchange of losing their memory and sanity as the time goes. This information was provided by Ciel, who used to work to kill the users of the potion. And the potion maker was Raven, who was an alchemist in the kingdom's castle.
Add, who was bought as a slave by Rena, was already injected by this potion and was slowly losing his memory until Rena ran out of antidotes to keep him sane. Both Raven and Lacher were creating the perfect antidote to remove the poison from someone's body completely. But until this day, the real reason why Rena hid the truth was still unknown.
"Hm… Right… What did you guys do?" El asked with a confused look and stared at the couple. "Even Elesis was useless until she's attached to me and finally showed that Ain is real. Now she's making a character progress!"
"That's why we're graduating! We're gonna be useful outside while you're pranking people here," Eve replied with a smile. They're finally getting outside. Of course they're excited! Who wanted to read another bullsh-t of school story anyway?
"Huh?! We're going to be useless?!" Ara shouted in disbelief and stared at the author. Sadly… Yes. I'm not making another school life stuff. That's a lot of that already and they're all the same. This one was included.
"Aisha, please live out our dreams!" Ara cried and hugged Aisha tightly. "You're our only hope because El refused to go out, Add is school's facility, and I'm still stuck in A rank!"
"Don't phrase it like that! I'm sure you guys will sneak out of school often!" Aisha yelled and smacked Ara's head. She didn't have any proof, but she was sure they would hang out often even when she graduated. "The story can't progress without you guys. Chill!"
"That's what she said until she got a new roommate!" Ara cried louder and imagined herself being alone in her dorm room.
"Aw, come on. Why would I get a roommate? I'll be living alone in an apartment anyway," Aisha sighed and shook her head.
"You don't have money, though. Yesterday the landlord said you can be roommates with someone for a cheaper price!" El smiled and hugged both Aisha and Ara. Add was confused, but he joined the group hug. "Which means… you can be roommates with a guy and then… maybe this story will be rated NSFW with your horny brain–"
Aisha yelped and broke the hug. "No! I assure you everything will be fine!" She yelled with a red face, from whatever came across her brain when El said that. She sighed heavily and shook her head. "It's fine, it's fine. I'll behave, I promise."
"So you're actually horny all the time and we're the one stopping you!" Ara cried again, but this time, she hugged El tightly. "What are we gonna do?! She's going to have kids the next time we meet her–"
"Stop! I'm starting to think you guys actually want to f-ck each other!" Aisha yelled again. The supposed to be quiet infirmary was finally as loud as a children's playground.
Els was looking at his twin while Elesis was still hugging him. The twins never made up and were still fighting every time they met. El had no intention to be on good terms with Els, since Els was never there to support him back when they were kids. Els was going to leave the school and he might not meet El anymore–because he was sure El wouldn't even try to meet him on any occasion. Was it even possible for him to be at least an acquaintance to El and not an arch enemy?
Eve patted his back and smiled. The worry was written all over his face. She lived with him long enough to know any kind of problems he had with his twin. "You're a nice person, Els. Everyone likes you. Be nice to him for once."
"I think that's what he doesn't like about me," Els sighed with a forced smile. But he needed to try one last time before he graduated. He walked toward El with a concerned look.
While El turned around to smile at him. "What is it? You want us to fight to death tonight?"
"You could say it like that. I'll wait on your favorite rooftop at midnight," Els smiled back before leaving the room.
Eve followed him outside and panicked. She approached Els and walked at the same speed as him. "What happened to being friends?!"
"I'll think about that later. It's already good that we can talk," Els replied as he thought of something. El might be half joking about it, but he had to prepare in case the fight to death was going to happen.
Aisha finished packing up her stuff and went to her bed. There were too many weird memories from the school. Sometimes it's making her want to stay.
Ara laid down next to Aisha and cramped both of them in one single bed. Especially when her breasts were unrealistically too big. "Stop flexing your thing!" Aisha yelled and slapped Ara's arm.
"But I'm going to be lonely until we have a new student," Ara pouted and hugged Aisha tightly. Her usual smile was turned into a frown. "I wish I were stronger… but it's okay! I'll catch up with you soon."
Aisha giggled and hugged her back. "I'll be waiting. Then we can be roommates again!"
Ara gasped and held Aisha's shoulders with a serious look. Too bad the room was too dark for Aisha to see. But for Ara, who can see in the dark normally, she can always see Aisha's expressions. "Are you not going to get a boyfriend?! I thought that was your dream!"
"What?! No, that's not even my top priority!" Aisha shouted and smacked Ara's head. She was afraid she would hit the breasts, but it didn't sound so bad now. "Stop making me sound like a pervert!" she yelled at the author.
"Visit us sometimes, Aisha. We're going to miss you," Ara said as she broke the hug.
"Yeah, sure. I'm not dying or anything, chill," Aisha sighed heavily. Why did her friends treat her like she was going to another dimension anyway?
The rooftop that was usually conquered by El was not owned by him tonight. Els was already there, waiting for his twin to come. El glared at Els and unsheathed his sword, aiming it at Els' neck. Els remained calm and just waited, but nothing happened. "I'm sorry. For everything," Els finally apologized, maybe for the first time in history.
Back when El was abused by their parents, he never did anything to help him. All he did was watch. One day El finally lost it and burned down their whole house along with his parents. Elesis was still in their mother's womb and miraculously survived. Els hated El a lot for it, but he tried imagining himself in his twin's position. Maybe he would do the same.
El moved down his blade with a disgusted look. "That's it? I should've just slept then."
"Is there anything you want from the outside? I'll get it for you. I'll come here every weekend," Els asked and looked at his twin. Will one day El even smile at him like they were best friends?
"I can get it myself. I don't need you," El smirked and waved his one hand to drive Els away. "F-ck off. Good thing you're leaving tomorrow!"
Els was about to lose his composure, but he didn't say all the curses on his mind. He will consider this as the last chance he gets to talk to El, even though they could randomly talk sometimes. "I don't want to fight you anymore, I mean it. Just tell me if you need anything."
El raised his one eyebrow with a confused look. He folded his arms and stared at his twin. "Nothing, especially from you. What are you trying to say?"
"I'm literally saying it the whole time. What the hell do you need? Your missing left eye?"
Yes, El's left eye was nothing but an empty eye socket. El rubbed his left eye socket, sometimes he remembered how hurt it was to have it gouged out with a spoon by his father. Ciel got new eyes (yes, he was blind), so would a new eye be nice? "Nah, I'd rather leave it empty," El shrugged at it. He hated everything about Els anyway.
Els sighed heavily, his eyes turned blue while trying to not vent out his frustration. But El loved it, he started smiling when it happened. "I'm trying to make up for my mistakes, El. An apology isn't enough and my death is also probably not enough for you!"
"F-ck off then!"
"Fine!"
Els left the rooftop because El didn't want to listen anyway. El threw his sword at the rooftop door, hoping it would stab Els, but sadly it only hit the door. He sat down and hugged his knees as he stared at the school at night. There's literally nothing to see, though. "I know your secrets, for f-ck's sake…"
Els walked down the stairs after almost losing his life to a random thrown sword. He sighed heavily and massaged his forehead. It was expected to turn out this way, but he was disappointed it actually happened. He walked to a certain teacher and smiled, giving him a pack of money. "I'll be counting on you again, Raven. He won't accept anything from me."
"I'm sure he already knows he's been getting your money all along," Raven smiled back and kept the money in his pocket. "And my money too–"
"F-ck off, Els!"
"Fine, fine! I'm going!" Els shouted and walked downstairs to exit the school building.
El smiled and casually grabbed the money from Raven's pocket. "Yoink! Mine now!"
"It should be yours in the first place except this," Raven grabbed his wallet from El's hand, even though there's nothing but his identity card inside it. "Come on, try to forgive him. He's trying."
"I think he'll keep giving me money if I don't forgive him. That's a good thing!" El smiled and counted the money in his hands. It was a lot, but not as much as Lacher gave to him every month. "Keep robbing him for me. Bye!"
The next morning, Aisha did what she wanted to do before leaving the school. She graduated now, so what did she get? And guess what she got from the principal when he gathered the three students to his office.
A "congratulations" and a small golden star badge.
Perhaps it was the missing Star rank PvP in this story. The reward was disappointing, but maybe it would be useful outside. Who knows? Even Aisha put it on her shirt proudly. What else was she gonna do about it?
"I'll miss you guys!" Ara smiled and waved her hands at her friends. She gave Aisha one last hug before seeing her go.
Aisha sighed and shook her head. "Guys, I'm just going outside! Stop making it sound like I'm never coming back!"
"Rena will call us Triplets again soon, but without you," El faked his sadness and pretended to cry. He had to go along with the mood.
Add tilted his head a bit. Their friend was graduating, but for some reason, they weren't entirely happy with it. Surely there was a simple solution for this–simple for him, at least. "I can grab a random Aisha from another timeline–"
"No! No, don't do that!" Ara screamed and shook Add by his shoulders. Even Aisha got panicked with the idea and slapped Add's cheeks lightly.
On the other hand, El loved the idea. "Wait, do it! I want a lot of me!"
"How's last night? I guess you failed?" Eve asked as she faced her boyfriend. El didn't seem to hate her that much. Maybe she could do it instead of Els? Her boyfriend just shook his head with a forced smile.
"Bring us a new game from the outside!" Elesis smiled and jumped in excitement. Even with her scary ability, she was still a kid with a bad childhood. A simple snakes and ladders board would excite her by now. "I want that! What is that?" She reacted to the narration.
"I'll get it for you. I'll come here every weekend," Els smiled and patted his sister's head. It would be easier to bring her to the amusement park.
"I-I'll be strong. I'll manage without you guys," Elesis nodded her head in confidence. She was always protected, but it's about time she had to protect herself.
Eve smiled at her and patted her head. "You can do it! Especially with more practice–"
The Nasod stopped her words when Ain appeared behind Elesis with a smile. The angel was folding his arms with a pendulum in his hand. "–I'm sure you got this," Eve ended her words instantly and gave a thumbs up.
Rena appeared behind the couple so suddenly, making Elesis yelp in surprise. Because of this, Ain saw the elf as a threat. A teal light was shot between the couple's heads, going through Rena's head.
And sadly it didn't hit the elf. "What do you mean 'sadly'?" Rena asked with a threatening tone and glared at the author. She grabbed the couple's shoulders from the back and smiled. "What are you guys planning?"
"Well, what do you think?" Els asked with a shrug. "Our author doesn't have the plot, remember? Maybe we'd meet someone."
"Hm… I have an idea for a plot, but let me see if it's working. Author, control your character for once," Eve said and stared at the author. Ah, hm… Alright, I've read your mind. Let's do it!
Eve walked toward the Quadruplets. Just like she thought, El was fine with her appearance and even tried to steal her wallet. "Nope, not anymore, El! You can't do that," Eve smirked and shook her index finger. Her drones floated around her as she patted them. "I'm going to do more research outside. Test my new devices, will you? You have weird ideas unlike Els, I'm sure you can help me improve them."
"That's kinda sus. You just want me to somehow interact with that little c-nt," El narrowed his eyes at Eve, feeling skeptical that she's helping Els. But hey, beta tester! You don't get every day for free, it's like a special permission. El blew up a confetti in front of Eve's face, making a loud 'pop' sound in the area. "Yes, show me! You can invent something unlike Add!"
"What's invent?" Add asked, being clueless as always.
Eve grinned and nodded her head. That was something she wanted to hear and she was glad she could be on good terms with El. "I'll attempt an advanced smartphone first. I'll tell you when it's ready for a test!"
And after they said their useless farewell messages, the three alumnus walked out of the school. Els and Eve already had their own plan, so Aisha had no choice but to go to the apartment she rented a few days ago. Who was going to be her roommate? Hopefully everything will be fine.
