Edward - Dominator

Aisha was waiting at a fast food restaurant near Noah's office. It served cheap steaks with cold refreshing drinks. One of the best places to cool down from walking on a natural heated place.

Noah came with his supervisor and ordered food at the counter. Aisha wasn't paying attention until she took a glimpse of the supervisor's face; a white haired guy with magenta eyes and a magenta line across his left eye. He looked really familiar, like one of her best friends. She might've taken a lot of time to realize Chung resembled Lacher, but not this one. He clearly looked like Add.

They approached her and sat on the opposite side of the seat. "Add?" Aisha called him and narrowed her eyes at the supervisor.

But he raised his one eyebrow with confusion. "No one has ever called me that before."

"You look like my friend. You guys are really similar," Aisha insisted with her guts.

He sighed and leaned his back on his seat with an annoyed look. "Oh, so you're friends with that other me?"

Noah kept looking at both of them. He could feel the tense atmosphere, but he didn't understand anything. "You have twins, Edward?"

"No, but that other me is from a different timeline, thinking my mom is his mom, and killing her just like that," the supervisor named Edward explained. He regained his composure and looked at Aisha. "Name's Edward. Don't call me 'Add'."

"I'm Aisha–" Aisha gasped and slammed the table lightly. "My friend killed your mom?!"

"It's mathematically impossible to go back to the past, or whatever he was trying to do," Edward said with a smirk and summoned a prism from his devices–which was also called Nasod Dynamos. There were a lot of mirror images of him on each side of the prism. "It's only possible to go to a different timeline. The least you could do is ask someone else to change your timeline if they even got the correct coordination."

Aisha blinked her eyes several times. First of all, not only going back to the past is scientifically impossible, but it's already lacking common sense. Secondly, why was he so calm, knowing that his mother was murdered randomly? "Are you not mad at your other self?"

"I was, especially when I had an argument about bat soup with my mother and I haven't apologized. It was a waste of time griefing over something I can't change, so I moved on," Edward shrugged and moved his Dynamos away.

Noah was staring at Edward with teary eyes. Edward hated pity, but apparently that wasn't the case. "You're immune to your mom jokes all along?" Noah asked, going to cry anytime soon.

Edward chuckled and smirked at his subordinate. "Yes. You mad?"

"Just get him a new mom," Aisha gave a simple solution.

"So what is a toxic alumnus doing here?" Edward asked in curiosity before eating his lunch.

"I'm… trying to find a story plot," Aisha forced herself to smile. It's been 5 chapters and the author hadn't given her any interesting story to work on.

Noah's eyes suddenly sparkled. A lot of ideas came to his mind, but he wanted to say the best idea he could get. And this is what he came up with. "Your mom is a story plot!"

Somewhere in Elder, the rich parents of Aisha were relaxing after a hard day of work. They have a lot of money for their daughter's future. While magical ability sucked, they still wanted her to be the best magician and possibly changed the world's view of magic. Obsession of money caused them to neglect their daughter and they didn't realize it.

Today they received a letter from their daughter, the very first time after years of not contacting each other. The mother was a bit excited with what's written, but it quickly turned into a shock. No, no classic heart attack like soap opera.

Dear mom and dad,

Thank you for all the money you spent for me at school. I graduated last week with no score, just a golden badge.

You can keep your money now. I'm having a life of my own and I will find the resources myself. I made a lot of friends and I'll live with them. They haven't graduated yet. I live with my roommate and we'll be fine.

Love, Aisha

Yes, we're skipping a whole week. Els and Eve were going back to the school to visit their friends on the weekend. "Oh damn, what a huge school. Are you sure I can just walk around?" Elsa asked as she looked around. The school was more like a village to her. It was enticing.

Boom!

Until she accidentally stepped on a magical landmine. She was hurt, but she laughed it off and kept walking like nothing happened. "That's kinda strong! I should be more careful."

"That's impressive. People are usually sent to the infirmary right away," Eve complimented in awe. She wasn't underestimating Elsa, but she was expecting some kind of pain.

Elsa pointed her finger at Els. "Your boyfriend helped me. Thanks!"

When Eve faced Els, she saw a glimpse of El stealing the bag from Els' hand. He was smiling and hugging the bag tightly with sparkly eyes. "My ice cream now!"

Els sighed heavily. His twin literally said he didn't want anything from him, yet his ice cream was still stolen. "Sure, you can have it."

El narrowed his eyes at Elsa. He was a bit skeptical until he looked at Els' expression; a confused one. "We have a sister?"

"Yes?" Elsa asked back with a smile. "Dad cheated on my mom to marry your mom. Does that make sense to you?"

"Of course it does! I can see why," El replied with an annoyed tone and glared at Els.

"There she is!"

Three people fell off from a magenta portal that just appeared above Elsa. They're on the ground on top of each other, with Elsa on the very bottom and Elesis on the top. "See? See?! I swear she looks like Elesis! I'm stupid, not blind!" Ara shouted and kept pointing at Elsa while they stood up and moved away from her.

Add nodded his head in agreement. He didn't know what to do with this information. Elsa looked like Elesis. Now what?

"Oh, the little sister!" Elsa picked up Elesis easily and let the little sister sit on her shoulder. She smiled, looking at Ara and Add. "Do we look like sisters now?" she asked–and got a cheerful yes from Ara.

"Looks fun on the outside. Do you guys have any new plot?" El asked and looked at Eve. Why would he ask for any info from Els anyway? Els was going to say something, but El told him to shut up.

Els kept speaking anyway. "Lacher has siblings–"

"He has what?" El repeated and narrowed his eyes at Els. "I knew it. He's tricking me to get false information," he muttered to himself and looked away from everyone. So all Lacher's secrets were probably fan fictions?

"He has an older sister and a little brother with sixth sense," Els continued. He probably caused mischief to Lacher with this information, but hey, he got to talk to El this way. Screw that random guy he barely met, right?

"Did Ain meet him?" El asked in disbelief and folded his arms. Why did he know nothing as the best secret finder? He's losing his title as the story got further away from school. "Bring him here. Tell him I want to play."

Eve giggled and shook her head. "Yeah, good luck with that. He's wandering off all the time."

Ain chuckled and clapped his hands as he appeared from the sky. "Yes, he can't tell the difference between real living beings and ghosts. He's too young."

El glanced at Elesis, who didn't give a single care to what they were talking about and simply playing around with Elsa. It seemed that she couldn't see any spiritual being but Ain. If he can get this little brother to talk, then they could find the story plot.

"Alright, let's go out! Ice cream first!" El smiled and waved his hands at Ara and Add to make them follow him.

"El, catch!"

Eve threw a device at El before he actually left. It was the early design of a smartphone made by Nasod technology. "Give me a review, okay?!" she smiled and waved her hand at him.

"...Where's Rena or Raven? They usually appear," Els asked in curiosity and looked around. And no, they were still not there. It wasn't a weekday, so where were they?

"Go on, what do you want to talk about?" Rena faced Raven with a confused look. She never remembered him wanting to talk about something so important.

"You can read my mind. Why didn't you do it?" Raven asked with the same confused look.

Rena sighed and shook her head. "Your mind was filled with food and money. What am I supposed to read?"

"Oh, uh…" Raven forced himself to smile and looked away from her. No wonder he could distract her all the way to the corner of the school. It's a good thing, so he could stay silent until the elf knew what was happening. It's been a while anyway.

"I should farm some money today. I might be able to afford a steak."

"Why don't we eat something before you farm? I'll accompany you," Rena said with a smile. They walked to the canteen to have lunch before farming.

By farming, I mean, the classic game grind. This school has portals to enter a dungeon. They will be rewarded and could sell them for money. It was efficient and fun (if you overcoped).

When they finally got their lunch (Rena paid for it, obviously), the elf finally was able to read the real reason Raven was calling her.

"They aren't here anymore. That's nice."

"Where are they going? The Triplets," Rena asked with a threatening tone. How come she always fell for the same trick? She loved Raven so much to the point El could use him to trick her.

"I wish I knew," Raven shrugged, but he smiled, "They'll be fine. Don't worry too much."

Aisha was crying internally while sitting in the coworking space in Hamel. Edward was lending two of his Dynamos to Noah. He was browsing the social media platforms and analyzing them instead of relaxing to enjoy memes.

Noah was… drawing lewd stuff. One Dynamo was used as a drawing tab and the other one was the pen. It was very questionable to see how ambitious he was in this kind of stuff.

"Guys, I'm going to grab a random mission today. You guys have fun," Aisha smiled wryly and got up from her seat

But Edward stopped her. "Have you tried cosplaying?"

"No?" Aisha faced him and narrowed his eyes. What's with the sudden question? Kinda sus, to be honest. "And I'm not interested."

"You're a meme-able content–"

"I'm not a content!" Aisha slammed the table and pouted. Was she actually that fun to watch, especially when she was angry or something?

"Done~!" Noah smiled and looked at his artwork. It won't be described because of NSFW content, but it was a commission. He didn't care about dignity anymore as long as he got the money. He got up and gave the Dynamos back to Add. "Can we join the random mission?"

"Huh?" Aisha looked at her 2 new friends. Can they even fight? But it's not up to her to decide, but the author. Just go, woman. "Alright, alright! Let's go!"

The triplets were waiting at the Velder train station. If Chung could travel between two islands alone, then they might find him in the crowd. "But what are the chances to find a kid in this crowd?" Ara asked and stared at the empty railroad. When the next train came, she needed to find a blonde kid.

"Luck? Unless there's a random ghost on the corner to distract him," El shrugged and wondered how to find the kid. Maybe candies? Or his ice cream? "No! I ate them all!" He yelled at the author for trying to make him sacrifice his ice cream. But then he got an idea: What if someone just pretended to be a ghost? "Ara, do it!"

"Alright, for the sake of plots!" Ara shouted with determination and took off her hairpin. Her long hair reached her feet and her bangs covered most of her face. "How do I look?" she asked with a smile, getting a thumbs up from El and Add.

The sound of the train was finally heard and eventually getting louder. The train was full of people going out in a rush.

Crack!

Suddenly everything stopped moving except them. The air became slightly pink and there were cracks like they were inside a broken glass. "We can find him this way. What's a blonde?" Add asked as he casually entered the train and checked everyone inside.

El and Ara finally realized what was happening. It was one of Add's things that they didn't know. "Lacher's hair color! Find him!" El shouted and checked the other places.

After a few hours of doing the same thing, they finally found Chung. He was trying to grab a lizard made of crimson glass from someone's backpack. Its tail was moving and glowing yellow on its tip.

"Come here, little boy~!" Ara smiled and grabbed the kid, easily carrying him with her one arm. Of course, the lizard was a random ghost and it was never there in the first place.

Surprisingly to them, Chung wasn't trying to run away. He was staring at Ara's head. There was nothing there, but in his eyes, there was a pair of white fox ears. He looked up, facing the floating white nine tailed fox. The fox ear's movement caught his interest, so he grabbed them with both hands.

Ara was unaware he could see Eun and just thought he was looking at a random ghost. "Let's go! What's your name?"

"Chung," El called the kid's name. Chung faced him, which made him smile for guessing it right. Now then… He'll take back the kid to the school with any necessary method he could do.

Chung looked at the fiery phoenix above El with sparkly eyes. The phoenix roared, calling little blazing birds to fly around it.

"I guess there's something above me. Nice, I like a kid with no sense of stranger danger!" El shouted with a smile and led the way back to the school. It wasn't far from the station anyway.

The school was already visible when they approached it. They looked really small compared to the huge school building with a silver gate and teachers as the guards. It was luxurious, even though the people inside were mostly poor.

But in Chung's eyes, it was a dark castle with blue flames. There were arms and creepy heads with long necks coming out of the school. In the middle of school was a huge lump, sometimes it leaked out a dark blue liquid. A really long tentacle appeared from it, growing out like a flower. But instead of beautiful petals, it formed a mouth with sharp fangs. It approached Chung, noticing someone could see it. He did nothing but stare at it.

It screeched, trying to eat the kid.

Chung screamed and tried to run away, but El held his hand. A gun was materialized in Chung's hand to shoot him.

Bang!

"Oh, geez! He got something," El sighed and looked at his shot arm. The light blue bullet from the gun was still there. He looked at Chung again, who already got a whole armor somehow in his body. No vision on his helmet, though.

"El."

Lacher walked toward them and grabbed Chung, hugging him while letting him cry on his shoulder as the helmet disappeared from his head. Chung's skin was pale and his whole body was shivering in terror. Even Lacher can feel his heart beating so fast.

"Hey, look! He actually went out for once!" El smiled and stared at the siblings. Even though he didn't get to bring Chung inside the school, he's already satisfied with what's happening.

"I don't get it. What happened?" Ara asked with a confused look and stared at Add, who had even more questions than her. They ended up standing in silence and just watching El and Chung staring at each other.

"Leave him out of this," Lacher said with a threatening tone, but sadly he wasn't blessed with an edgy cool voice. It sounded like begging instead.

El chuckled and walked toward Lacher. "Aw, come on! Just this time–"

Lacher summoned his cannon and aimed it right to El's face. This was the first time El saw it; the cannon was actually bigger than the user. It looked like he could get smacked to the sky anytime. "Leave him out of this," Lacher repeated and probably prepared to attack anytime soon.

El took a step backward and smiled. "Alright, alright! I won't bring Chung here ever again!"

"And there they go," Ara commented and watched the siblings walk away. "What was that, though? Why did he suddenly scream?"

"Hm… Can you think for once?" El snapped his finger at Ara's forehead. He faced the school again, looking at its luxury. "There's definitely something really scary inside. I just need to find out who's in control."

"It's not like you to surrender so easily," Add commented and stared at El with his usual straight face (but he's confused, trust me). He didn't remember El would just let something go without effort.

El forced himself to laugh and smiled wryly. "He's my source of money, Add. I won't make him angry."
