Laby - Radiant Soul

The ship wasn't really crowded with just a few people around. It's very quiet and they could even walk around on the deck while waiting to reach their destination. They passed nothing but the sea, but Chung liked what he was seeing. "Look! A giant octopus with horns!" Chung smiled and pointed at the sea. His eyes were still red from too much crying, though.

"Your first time seeing it?" Lacher asked because… Chung was his brother. This would be the only time he was willing to engage in a conversation and even activity if he had to.

"No, but it has more horns now," Chung answered, still looking at the sea with excitement. "Why do horned octopus make the sea red?"

"They produce inks. While normal octopus let out black ink, this one is red," Lacher replied with a made up story. He couldn't see whatever Chung was seeing. How was he supposed to react to that?

Chung looked at his right. A really tall woman with long hair wearing a bloody white dress. She was crying and hurting her own face with her sharp nails. Lacher noticed Chung was looking at something, so he grabbed his brother's body closer to him. "Let them be. They needed some time alone."

"I like that! Flying bird bones with fire!" Chung smiled and pointed at the empty sky. "Why are they burned?"

"Wind helps the fire spread. It's natural for those birds; the fire becomes their energy to keep flying," Lacher said more bullsh-ts he could think of. It's creating a fantasy novel at this point.

Chung was really amazed with Lacher, despite the fact that he was being lied to. "Big bro is so smart! You know everything."

Lacher's eyes widened a bit and faced his brother. "You remember you have a brother?"

"No. Els asked about it," Chung muttered, remembering what happened in Els and Eve's house. The image of Ain killing the ghosts was still clear to him. He grabbed Lacher's hand and pointed at the sea with a scared look. "Are they bad guys?"

Lacher turned silent. What would happen if he made Chung aware that he could see ghosts? Would he be scared his entire life? Would it stress him to find out which one was real and which one wasn't? He'd find out eventually, but he wouldn't tell it now. "If they're not mean, then no."

Chung's eyes sparkled when a giant white snake tail with red eyes and sharp scales grabbed the entire horned octopus' body underwater. "What is that?! A water dragon?"

At this moment, Lacher was glad his brother was stupid. "Powersnake. A wingless dragon."

While Hamel was mostly water, there was a forest outside the main town. It wasn't as variative as Ruben's Forest, but it's still a forest either way. "Hm… Mission is to investigate a weird energy inside the forest?"

"So you can make a fan fiction and just report back," Edward nodded his head and looked around. His Dynamos were floating further, scanning the area for any unusual stuff.

"I did feel an energy, but it's not weird," Aisha said and walked deeper to the forest. There were no signs of any living animals; just trees and mushrooms. What kind of proof did she have to get to report it? "Edward, can you use your device as a camera?"

Edward moved one of Dynamos to face Aisha. "Alright. Smile."

"W-Wait, not this–"

Click!

A photo of Aisha trying to cover the camera was captured. The picture was shown on the other Dynamo like a hologram. "Act more natural," Noah commented on the photo.

"I mean take a photo of the forest!" Aisha pouted and saw herself on the camera. She wasn't on her best look, but whatever. Not that she had something to do with it anyway.

Edward narrowed his eyes at the corner of the photo. It was just a tree, but there was something pink. He turned around and tried to spot the tree. The pink thing moved away like it was trying to hide. His Dynamos floated in a formation next to him and shot a laser.

And destroyed the tree without mercy.

The pink thing was finally revealed. Something that looks like a human; a pink wavy haired girl with pink eyes and a floating pink mirror. "Wah! They found Laby!" the girl shouted in panic and held her mirror. "Nisha, what should we do?!"

Aisha walked toward the girl with no intention to attack, but she still held her staff tightly. The girl was definitely the energy she was feeling. "Hi there, I'm Aisha!"

"Laby is Laby and this is Nisha!" the girl smiled to introduce herself and the mirror.

"Why are you approaching every kid you see? Noah, be careful," Edward commented and created a barrier in front of Noah with his Dynamos.

"So she can f-ck their mom," Noah replied with a smile.

"Come with us for a bit!" Aisha said, totally trying really hard to convince the girl they almost killed to come with them as a report. Surprisingly the girl agreed and just followed them.

They went back to the town to report the mission. Aisha saw a glimpse of familiar people. She stopped her foot and faced the people to see if she was going crazy or not.

"Time Wizard!"

And apparently she wasn't going crazy yet. Chung recognized her and waved his hand. Lacher had no choice but to follow his brother to the group.

Noah hid himself behind Edward and looked at his roommate with one eye. "Maybe Edward was right."

And Lacher's appearance didn't help, since his puberty was as lazy as him. He still looked like a kid, maybe around Noah's age while he's actually older. "Lacher, what are you doing here?" Aisha asked in curiosity. She never expected him to go out.

Obviously she didn't get any answer. Lacher won't talk unless he actually wants to.

"Kid likes Laby's mirror?" Laby smiled and patted her mirror. "Nisha! Laby told you people will recognize Nisha!"

Chung was confused with the word "mirror". He saw no mirror, but a girl with dark blue wavy hair and pink eyes. Her dark blue dress was a contrast to Laby, who had mostly pink on everything. "You can see me?" The mirror, Nisha, asked with widened eyes.

Chung was confused with the question and pulled Lacher's shirt. "Can you see them?"

Lacher stared at the mirror, thinking and speculating of what was happening. What did Chung see and why did he ask if the others could see them?

"We can see them, alright?" Edward lied to Chung. While he didn't know anything about the siblings, he understood what was wrong with Chung's vision.

Everything.

"I want to play with Time Wizard!" Chung smiled and pointed at the staff in Aisha's hand.

"She's busy. You can't play with her now," Lacher explained to Chung before facing the so-called Time Wizard. "Are you free after? Please spare some time with him."

Aisha was so confused. She didn't expect Lacher to ask for a favor either. "Um… Sure? Let me finish this mission first."

After reporting the mission and getting free money, Aisha splitted the reward for Add and Noah too. They went their separate way because Noah was going to draw more indecent stuff. Now it's just Laby, the siblings, and her. "Let's play at Laby's house!" Laby shouted with a smile. She didn't even know any of them; she just wanted them to come to her house. She pointed at the way to the forest, "Right there!"

"Laby wants new friends. Please follow her," Nisha smiled at Chung. The mirror wanted to do everything for Laby.

Of course, only Chung could hear that statement. "Time Wizard is coming too!" he smiled at Aisha.

"Aisha. My name is Aisha," Aisha introduced herself and decided to follow whatever was happening. She didn't know what to do anymore. Why did Chung like her so much anyway?

Lacher held Chung's hand and followed the girl. Who knows what would distract Chung? Either he held his brother's hand all the time or let him be to… probably Altera next time. "Is Aisha being nice to you?" Lacher asked in curiosity.

Chung nodded his head with a smile. "She has so many toys!"

"...Toys?" Aisha repeated with a slightly disappointed tone. Was her magic just a mere toy to a kid? But he's just a kid, so she'll let that slide. She casted ice magic as they walk, creating a trail of flowery ice.

"Whoa! Aisha is good! How do you do that?" Laby shouted with excitement. Chung was also excited by this magic and played around with Laby. Damn, who would've known Aisha was good with kids? Maybe she's just a random performer as a magic ability user.

The Triplets visited a certain duo. El had his suspicions because Lacher mentioned them before. It's even more convincing that Chung was scared of something and Lacher threatened him to never bring Chung to 'this' matter. "We might find out what he meant by 'this'!" El shouted with confidence.

"Honestly, I don't understand anything, but let's go!" Ara shouted and raised her hands to the sky. It's always wrong with El around, so why don't just wing it? Just go, of course.

"El nii-chan! You look like you found something!" Lu smiled and greeted them with a smile. On the other hand, Ciel felt skeptical and prepared himself for a fight.

"Yes, of course! Why don't you tell us?" El smiled back and clapped his hands once. He narrowed his eyes at the demon, feeling that the story plot might be at the school all along. It was among them all the time. "How are you here freely like nothing happened?"

"I'm a student! Ciel too. What do you mean?" Lu pouted and folded her arms. She might be a demon, but she wasn't like the other demons. She didn't randomly kill humans.

And that's the interesting part for El. "Are you, though? A little sh-t with no sense of danger came here a while ago. Apparently something scared him, so he ran away."

"You don't have a sense of danger. What's the difference?" Ciel asked and stared at El. He didn't remember the time where El didn't recklessly do something.

"I can't see it," El shrugged and pouted with an annoyed look.

"Huh? See what?" Lu asked with a confused look. Where was this conversation even going?

"He can't see 'this'," Add replied and nodded his head, feeling like he understood the situation.

Ara sighed and put her hands on her hips. She wanted to understand what was happening, but she realized something after being clueless for so long: none of them understood anything and they didn't know what to ask. What if she just randomly accuses Lu? Maybe that would work. "What do you have here? There's something we can't see, but you can because you're a demon!"

"Huh?! I'm a demon, not a shaman!" Lu threw a tissue box at Ara's head.

"I heard a witch doctor can open access to our sixth sense. Why don't we try that?" El suggested, thinking his idea might be good for now.

Rena appeared between them and folded her arms. "What are you guys trying to do here?"

"How should I know?! Lacher's brother saw something in this school and ran away in fear!" El shouted in frustration and stared at Rena. "Why don't you tell us then?"

"...Saw what?" Rena raised her one eyebrow.

"'This'," Add answered shortly.

Rena sighed heavily and shook her head. Now it's just a random word spoken by everyone. "Author, just go to another scene until these people get more evidence."

I don't know what to do with Laby's house, so let's skip that part for the next chapter or something. Let's move on to the last day of the weekend instead. "Are you serious?!" Aisha yelled at the author for the laziness and lack of creativity. What kind of story that just skips the on-going part mid-way?

"Aisha! We have decided to help you find the story plot!" Noah shouted with a smile. Apparently Edward and him were willing to help her during the weekend. Because what else would they be doing on the weekend?

Knock, knock!

Noah rushed toward the door and opened the door for his supervisor. They sat in a circle on the floor and asked Aisha to tell them what happened for the last 6 chapters.

"Hm… So this Lacher guy plays an important part in the story," Edward nodded his head and created a chart on his Dynamo screen.

"He plays your mom," Noah smiled at Aisha and clapped his hands for his own joke.

"Let's start from the basic info. Lacher is a fake name; his real name is Prince. His older sister is Rose and his younger brother is Chung," Edward started explaining, creating three rectangles with the Seiker's names on his chart. "Chung made it to Velder and met your friends, Els and Eve. How did he even get there in the first place? We met Laby before, so she might be important."

Aisha nodded her head and looked at the chart. "Lacher barely came out of his room, but he did yesterday. He's a really lazy guy."

"There must be a reason why he faked his name. He cares for Chung a lot, so that's a good sign," Edward said as he analyzed the characters so far. They look like the author's preferences, that's for sure.

"Rose told me Chung wouldn't remember Lacher," Aisha provided some information she could remember. Anything as long as the story finally progressed.

"Hm? But why was he with Lacher in the first place?" Edward sighed and folded his arms, remembering anything from the kid, even the trivial one. "Chung's eyes were red. He was crying… around school, since it was the only way he could meet Lacher."

"Why would he be in the school and cry, though?" Noah asked with a confused look. He didn't find a good reason for the kid to be in the school and Lacher somehow had the will to go outside.

"He didn't have any reason. If Lacher came out, then there's probably something that was already planned beforehand. He wouldn't know Chung would be there. Unless… someone brought Chung by force and he was aware of this plan. There might be something really bad to the point he brought Chung back to home by himself," Edward said as he updated his chart. So far the link was connected, but the reasons were still unknown. "Why don't we call her?"

Aisha and Noah were confused with the word 'her'. Edward was referring to Chung's sister, which was the phone that was written on the back of the kid's shirt. He used his Dynamo to dial the number and finally got connected.

"Hello, Rose here. How may I help you?"

"Where's your brothers?" Edward asked and narrowed his eyes at the Dynamo.

"He's wandering around again–...'Brothers'? How did you know I have 2 brothers?"

"Your mom told me," Noah replied with a joke and got a smack from Edward instantly.

"Ah, it's you guys again! Thank you for playing with him yesterday. He was really happy."

"Was he at Toxicity School yesterday?" Edward asked directly the main question.

"Yeah, he told me three people were bringing him to the school and seeing a scary flower. Prince told him to never go anywhere near school again, but… Sigh… I swear he was sleeping in my room. This morning he just disappeared!"

Edward glances at Aisha. He remembered Chung liked her a lot for some reason. Was 'Time Wizard' a mere meme or the kid saw something else in the girl? They said goodbye and ended the call.

Aisha forced herself to laugh. The word "three people" really made her think about her friends. It sounded like something they would do too. Maybe El found out something?

Knock, knock!

"Open up! We're here for an interview!"

Aisha got startled when she heard a really familiar voice. The rudeness was even more convincing. There's no way she was hearing things

"Is she in danger?"

"Of course not! I'm sure she's fine."

"What if we're on the wrong room number?"

"Add, do your thing! Let's prank her."

"I can hear you guys!" Aisha yelled from the room and got up to open the door. But Noah already rushed to the door first and unlocked it.

Click!

Crack!

Add stopped the time as a prank, even though Aisha was already aware of it. Their surroundings stopped, only the Triplets who can move in the space.

Crash!

"Try to stop deez nuts!" Noah smiled and opened the door to let them in. Ara's jaw was still dropped open from shock while El was impressed with what he did. His eyes widened when he looked at Add, who still had the usual straight face. "You do look like Edward!"

The time and space disappeared when Add heard the name. Aisha got confused with the time skip, since she didn't experience the stopped time moment. "Edward, look! Your twin!" Noah smiled and pointed his finger at Add.

Edward turned around to look at the guests. Ara was shocked even more, but El got excited by this, he started smiling. "What the f-ck is my midget self doing? Did you not get your puberty yet?"

"He was tall! I swear!" Ara shouted and used her hand to show how tall Add was back in the prequel. "I didn't know you had a secret brother too!"

"...This isn't my timeline?" Add asked with a confused feeling, but with a straight face. He will be stuck with his straight face until miracles happen anyway.

"Add, you killed his mom," Aisha said with a forced smile and pointed her hand at Edward.

"Well, whatever. Don't cramp up in this shack," Edward sighed and got up to walk away from the apartment.

"He said no and left~" Noah smiled and followed him from the back.
