AN:Hello again! I'm back to typing a fanfiction. Time Time is a semi-crossover between Iron Sky and Turning Red. I had this story in my mind for a while, and I wanted to explore it. Oh yea, the reason why it's considered a semi-crossover is because of the major changes I made to the Iron Sky lore just so it could fit into the world of Turning Red and my vision of the story.
All property belongs to its rightful owners, and I don't own any of this other than the OCs I will be adding to the story. Enjoy!
Chapter I: A New Life
The year is 1946 in Antarctica. The Reich recently lost the Second World War against the allied powers, and the losers of the war snuck into Antarctica. The group consists of scientists, wanted military commanders, families of the scientists and officers, etc. It might seem pointless to head to Antarctica, but they had something waiting for them. A secret base that holds some of the best technology of the time. Notably, the Haunebu III.
A spacecraft that will lead them to their final destination, the moon! Why? I don't know. The group of 90,000 "refugees" are ready to head there in a matter of days. One of these scientists, Dr. Krantz, believes that the group he's with has a lost cause and as well that it's a stupid idea. Krantz quickly headed into one of the radio towers that existed in the complex to try and get contact with nearby ships, believing that there were some nearby. But his plans would be foiled.
One commander, Ulrich Mayer, heard about the signal and immediately sent his goons to apprehend him. His wife, Mrs. Krantz, watches her husband get executed in front of her eyes for the "crime" he committed against the Reich. She did nothing, not wanting to ever speak about what happened to her husband. Time has passed. All the Reich settlers packed up and flew up to the moon once it was June. The day was right for them. It was at the time when the moon was facing near Antarctica and, most importantly, a red lunar eclipse. Representing their red banner
After their arrival, the settlers put on their space outfit and planted their flag on the surface of the moon. The high ranks, declared the foundation of the Fourth Reich. A new dark era for the moon has started...
2002
"Heil!" yelled all the students when a group of Reich officers entered the room. One of them was Erwin Mayer. The son of the highly respected Ulrich Mayer. He dawns a black officer uniform with arm band in his right arm. he is here today to visit one of the classes. He stood up in front of the class with his bodyguard next to him. There he opened his mouth to begin his speech.
"Good day, students. As you may be aware, today is a special day for the Reich. Today is the Lunar Eclipse of 2002. It is the day to honor the Reich. The red in the eclipse represents our proud red banners of the flag that we are loyal to. Today is the day to think about yourself for a second. Look at what you can do for the Reich. Look at what you can achieve for the Reich. Maybe even the liberation of our world from the dreaded occupants that inhabit it. Your teacher will talk about the glorious things you can do for the Reich. "
Mayer walked to the side of the room where the teacher of the class took his place. She turned on a projector, where it began projecting clips from the past.
"Students of the Reich. " The teacher said.
"Our future depends on you. Remember that here in this school, we teach you about honor, loyalty, and friendship. Such as what our former leader, Bodolfus Hillter once said, "The state can only function if loyalty is involved."
"Yes Mrs. *****"
"Wonderful."
All the students stayed quiet while the teacher turned off the projector and brought down a map of the world. She grabbed a stick and began pointing at some parts of the world. Saying
"Now students, what is this?"
All the students answered, "Capitalists!"
"And what is this?"
"Communist!"
She put down the stick she was holding after pointing to discuss the class's "earthling" language.
"Now, if we want to ever talk with the poor earthlings, we must speak their language. The dreaded English. *German to English* "Where are we from?"
One student raised their hand and said, "The Earth."
"Good Fritz. Now when did we leave? " stated the teacher. One raised their hand to answer.
"1946."
The teacher moved on from the small English warmup and said, still in English, to her students, "Good students. Now, what do we say when we come to help the miserable Earthlings, who have been living in poverty, who have no one to comfort them, and are struggling without our care? " The teacher raised her hands. All the students stood up and yelled.
"We come in peace!"
"Good. Now, students, you may stand up and look at the wall. On that wall, it has papers for your future. A list of things you can accomplish for the Reich. Now students, you may leave, but before you proceed, Heil! "
All the students saluted and yelled the same thing. Afterwords, they all walked out of the building and looked at the hallways. Two students, Hamprecht Krantz and Eckehard Wehner, were both staring at the window of a vast space. Both dreamed of serving the Reich in some way. Krantz said something to Wehner.
"Wehner, have you ever wanted to join the Army?"
The quieter Wehner responded back to his friend, "Probably."
Krantz soon replied back. "We should join, don't you think? It's our way of serving the Reich. Just like the teacher said. "
"Yea, but I don't know if my father will allow me. He seemed to be kind of paranoid over my choice. " said Wehner.
Krantz said in response, but louder, "Don't listen to your father. It's for the greater good for us. For the Reich. "
Wehner, now speaking slightly louder than before, "Yea, I should join the Army. Together, we can have adventures. life, and even praise and glory. Help the poor kids that live down there, right? "
Krantz said, "Now that's the spirit. Wehner, you can try as hard as you can to talk to your father. Together, as brothers? "
"Brothers." Both Wehner and Krantz shook each other's hands and walked away. It might all seem great for the two friends. But for now, they wait to see what life brings them.
