Welcome everyone to chapter four. We would like to say thank you to everyone who took the time to read some random account's story and especially to the ones who reviewed or favorited it.
Day One is done and the next couple months are starting, this chapter being the rest of the first week. Pyrrha is going to have a couple interesting talks with Jaune and Yang will have a call with her dad and uncle.
As a heads up this chapter is a shorter one in a slightly different format, filled with some exposition, more talking, some introspection. More fluff in the chapter. And very focused on Pyrrha. We hopefully improved our writing style for this chapter even more.
Anyway, welcome to our story, we hope you like it.
Of course, we do not own RWBY and we won't make even a nickel from this story, it's all for fun, playing in RoosterTeeth's sandbox.
Onwards to A Second Chance.

Chapter Four – The Rest of the First Week – Talks, A Vision and A Call, Oh My
Pyrrha was pulled out of a very comfortable sleep by movement, as she came to and looked around to find what woke her, she looked down at Jaune's chest. Which she was using as a pillow. A quick check showed her that she was laying mostly on top of Jaune. Her breasts were squished against his chest, her legs tangled around one of his.
It seemed like the movement that woke her was Jaune pulling her closer to him with his arm wrapped around her back. His other hand was resting on her butt, like the last time she was in bed with Jaune. She was a bit disappointed that Jaune wasn't rubbing her butt like last time. As Pyrrha laid her head back down on Jaune's warm and firm chest she smiled.
It seemed like Jaune's subconscious had a thing for her butt. Her smile widened, wondering if she could use that to help her get together with Jaune. Pyrrha wondered if she should buy some tight shorts or a pair of those skin tight workout pants. That company still wanted to sponsor her, right?
As Pyrrha imagined Jaune's reaction to that she nuzzled Jaune's chest, moving her head up a bit until she felt Jaune's chin on the top of her head. She tightened her arms around his chest, moving one hand down from Jaune's waist to his butt. Hoping that it wouldn't wake him up.
A moment later, Jaune still sleeping deeply, Pyrrha let out a quiet "hmmm" of comfort and relaxation. Snuggling even more into Jaune, even wrapping her legs tighter around Jaune's leg.
As Pyrrha enjoyed herself, feeling Jaune's firm and warm body under her, lightly groping Jaune's fantastic butt with one hand, she found herself in a great mood. A better mood than she could ever remember being in.
The evening was enjoyable, watching a fairly good, though very entertaining show with her friends, leaning against Jaune. The only downside being Ruby in Jaune's lap and Yang leaning against Jaune on his other side. She guessed that she could overlook that. The impromptu movie night ended after 11 when the girls left and her team got ready for bed.
To Pyrrha's immense joy, Jaune let her sleep with him again, accepting her argument that if she had another vision or nightmare then she would be waking him up to sleep with him anyways. Jaune's blush and stuttering as she got into bed with him and got comfortable against him was adorable. It made her want to kiss him so much. She held back somehow though.
Pyrrha could have done without the comments from Nora, making Jaune twitch beside her like he wanted to move away from her.
But the night went better than expected, helped by the comfort and warmth and good feelings that Jaune provided and she thankfully didn't get any nightmares or visions. So, because of that Pyrrha had the best night sleep she could remember, from either life. She even could have sworn that she had a very good dream, but she couldn't remember it.
And added bonus, being here in Jaune's bed, snuggling against him, being almost felt up by him, feeling up his great butt. Being all warm and comfortable and relaxed. Pyrrha could barely feel her underlying pain and bitterness and anger. As if they were almost not there, not waiting to come up again due to a thought or sight.
Pyrrha glanced over at the clock, 5:40AM. Her smile grew even more, to an almost disturbing amount, as she realized that she still had hours before they needed to wake up. Hours more with Jaune.
As Pyrrha relaxed and half snoozed, she felt another quickly becoming favorite thing. A long, large hardness against her thigh. Pyrrha smirked as she felt it press into her thigh more and more as Jaune moved his leg a bit which caused his dick to shift.
Pyrrha was very thankful for the pajama pants that Jaune had on now as they were looser than the ones from yesterday. Which let her feel it more. Pyrrha bit back a groan and pressed herself even more against Jaune's leg. And squeezed Jaune's butt even harder.
Pyrrha had a weird feeling as if part of a debt was being repaid.
Pyrrha somehow stopped herself from rubbing herself against or humping Jaune's leg. Only just. Both knowing that doing that with a sleeping Jaune was wrong and because she wanted, needed, Jaune awake and actively participating to see the looks on his face and hear the noises he would make.
Due to that thought Pyrrha bit back a shuddering groan and pressed her face even more against Jaune's chest. Feeling the largest blush she ever felt come up on her face.
She so wanted to do anything, everything with Jaune, hug him all day long, kiss his soft looking lips, snuggling with him in bed every night, ride his large hard dick until she couldn't feel her legs anymore. Play with his soft and fluffy hair, feel him rub her all over with his warm big hands.
Pyrrha held back another groan and tried to stop herself from squirming too much onto of Jaune. Feeling her breasts rub against Jaune's chest and her nipples get hard made her stop all her movement. She was getting too excited. She needed to stop.
As Pyrrha made plans to drastically speed up getting together with Jaune she let out a heated breath and after a moment drifted back into a relaxed half dozing state. Not sleeping or napping, but zoned out and immensely relaxed. Just enjoying the quiet, comfortable time with Jaune before she had to get back to everything.
A little while later a thought came to Pyrrha, she was surprised that no one asked her more questions during the evening, she was expecting it, but everyone just watched the show. She knew that there would be more questions from them, but she wasn't sure what more to share with them.
All the details about the maidens and Salem she wanted to keep to herself as she had no plans to get involved in all of that. Ozpin and Salem could keep their secret war to themselves. All Pyrrha needed was for Jaune and everyone else to be strong enough to fight off Salem's minions if they ever came.
Though Pyrrha did have a worry, that her team would be pulled into everything because of Ruby, her silver eyes, and Raven being a maiden and complete bitch. Who Yang for some reason was obsessed with finding, a person she had no memories off. And because Blake was obsessed with redeeming herself and fixing the White Fang which will be used by Salem. And because Weiss's father was terrible and will fall of Salem's manipulation.
Pyrrha sighed into Jaune's chest and wondered if she could convince Jaune to leave team RWBY alone. Leave them all their fates. If Ruby wanted to follow her mom's example and die alone. If Yang wanted to fight her birth mother and maybe die. If Blake wanted to deal with her past and the Fang and be killed. If Weiss wanted to somehow fix her family's company, with no plans. They should let them.
Pyrrha sighed again, surprised and disturbed how much she liked that idea, leave them to their fates and work to a better fate with Jaune. But she couldn't. Pyrrha knew that Jaune would want to help Ruby, help all of them and they were all her friends. Her best and closest friends. Ones she was very thankful for. Stupid as they were.
Pyrrha snuggled more into Jaune, trying to go back to her happy thoughts. She was feeling pretty uneasy that she was getting used to her thoughts bouncing from happy to sexual to dark and sober.
But it wasn't all bad, even if she was feeling somewhat unstable.
In just over 24 hours she got closer to Jaune than she ever dreamed of, she made some needed changes, got Yang and the rest of team RWBY more serious about training, got closer to them as well. And more importantly she changed how she acted and Pyrrha could honestly say that she like her new mindset, mostly.
She could do without the underlying dark emotions she had now, the pain, her almost instinctive actions. But some bad with the good was to be expected. Her father always said that the gifted or blessed of the Nikos family had to suffer a moment of pain for each moment of pleasure.
After a moment of relaxing another thought came, hopefully once the midterms were over her team would have far more time to train. She had half an idea to use Ozpin's desire or need to make her into the next maiden to get them permission to train in the forest. Sparring was good and all, but Jaune and her team needed to learn to fight Grimm better together.
And her team needed to learn how to fight bad guys as a team and not pair off and do 1 on 1 fights, which was the stupidest thing in the world. Pyrrha was honestly shocked that Qrow didn't train everyone better. Or Ozpin. Or that Jaune, as smart as he was in tactics, somehow also didn't say anything against the splitting of the teams during fights.
Pyrrha let out another soft sigh and adjusted her position ever so slightly to lay more of herself onto a warm and comfortable Jaune. A little while later another thought popped up.
Pyrrha didn't know how she could go back to sleeping by herself, just 2 nights with Jaune and she was hooked. The most comfortable sleeps she ever had, first night with her vision included. She always felt a bit cold and… alone… something lacking… she wasn't sure, during the nights. Like something was missing. With Jaune she felt like she found that something.
Pyrrha felt a smile come back to her face with that thought. She just hoped that Jaune let her continue sleeping with him. For the next week she was sure she could use her vision as a reason. But after that she didn't know. Pyrrha hoped that Jaune would get so used to sleeping with her that he wouldn't mind if she never went back to her bed.
Or maybe they could alternate beds. Or move their beds together. It really didn't matter to her so long as they slept together.
As Pyrrha snoozed and thought happy thoughts, Jaune woke up slowly due to Pyrrha's slight movements on top of him. And under him.
Jaune woke up to warmth and comfort, and something soft and firm under one hand. As Jaune blinked and looked down he saw Pyrrha's red hair. Jaune blinked again, right, Pyrrha slept in his bed during the night. Jaune closed his eyes and enjoyed the warmth and comfort.
Wait, Jaune's eyes opened again as he looked down. Pyrrha was on top of him, he could feel her head under his chin resting on his chest, her large boobs squished against his chest, her legs wrapped around one of his. She also had her arms wrapped tightly around him, with one hand groping his butt lightly.
Jaune blushed and felt his blush grow even more as he next felt Pyrrha move her leg a bit which caused his dick to press even more into Pyrrha's thigh. And that movement also drew his attention to his hand which was on Pyrrha's butt. Her firm and soft and fantastic butt, which tensed as Pyrrha moved her leg a bit.
Jaune closed his eyes and dug his head deeper into his pillow. His blush leveling off. He couldn't believe the position they were in. He could feel all of Pyrrha on top of him. She was all soft, warm skin under a soft short tank top and shorts. And firm, great muscles under that soft skin. And awesome boobs and did he already mention her fantastic butt.
Jaune held back a groan as his mind went through all the great things about Pyrrha's body, an added benefit to her great personality and kindness and cute laugh and… Ugh, Jaune held back a sigh.
He shouldn't be thinking like that, she came to him so that he could help her with the pain from her vision. Not so that he could feel her up and list off how great her body was.
As Jaune started moving his hand off Pyrrha's butt and trying to find a way to move his dick away, he heard Pyrrha let out a deep hum and shake her head. She then moved her butt up to follow his hand.
"Pyrrha?" Jaune asked quietly, his voice still a bit rough with sleep.
Pyrrha heard Jaune's heartbeat speed up and his breathing change pace, signs that Jaune was waking up. Though so far, he wasn't doing anything apart from moving his head. Pyrrha smiled lightly at that. That Jaune didn't immediately pull his hands away and try to roll her off him.
She lost her smile a bit when Jaune moved to take his hand off her butt. As he moved his hand up, Pyrrha moved her butt up to follow his hand. At his question Pyrrha let out a quiet "Don't move, go back to sleep, it's still early."
Jaune blushed, did he wake her up? Did she want his hand on her butt? Jaune stopped moving his had and felt Pyrrha's butt press up into his hand. Jaune nodded "Sure." And moved his hand back down with Pyrrha's butt. He rested his hand lightly on her butt and really tried not to think about it. Why did Pyrrha want his hand on her butt? Was it because she had her hand on his?
Jaune felt his blush deepen, did Pyrrha maybe like his butt? He couldn't imagine why, or how she would have come to liking his butt. Or liking touching him constantly. Did Pyrrha like his body more than just a source of comfort?
Jaune shook his head and turned his attention back to Pyrrha's hair, "Have a good night? No other visions or anything?"
Pyrrha smiled as Jaune left his hand on her butt, "I had a great night, no visions or memories. I can't thank you enough for letting me sleep with you." Pyrrha said quietly and blushed at the double meaning.
Pyrrha let out a happy and content hum, readjusting herself a bit once her butt was back down, she really couldn't believe that Jaune actually left his hand on her butt. She briefly wondered if it was because he wanted to or if it was because she wanted him to. Though that brought her to a bad thought.
Yesterday, as great as it was, there were some points that Pyrrha knew were embarrassing or uncomfortable for Jaune. Where she went to far or they all just acted and didn't think of if Jaune wanted to do what they did with him. Pyrrha was going with what her instincts said to do, what felt, seemed, right to do. What changed things. To start the change to save everyone.
Pyrrha lost her smile and happy mood, what if she went to far? Jaune was generally an easy-going guy, even if the easy-going was at times fake, and very used to going along with what girls did to, with, him because of his sisters. But what if he wasn't comfortable and only went along with them because they were his friends or that they were stronger than him.
Pyrrha had to know if she hurt Jaune, if Yang or Ruby hurt Jaune. She couldn't stand the thought that she truly did hurt Jaune.
Pyrrha moved a bit, she moved her head from under Jaune's chin to his chest and shoulder. So that she could look at his face. And so, if Jaune moved his head down they could look into each other's eyes.
Pyrrha started "We didn't have much time to talk yesterday. I'm sorry about Yang. And the whole carrying us. And the sitting between your legs in class. And letting Ruby sit on your lap."
As Pyrrha talked, apologized, she nuzzled Jaune's chest more and more. Jaune couldn't believe how adorable it was. Also not a term that was generally applied to Pyrrha. She was beautiful, she was hot, adorable… not really. Before she could apologize more Jaune moved his hand from her waist and placed it on her cheek, his thumb on her lips. Copying how she stopped his apologies yesterday.
Jaune wasn't mad about anything from yesterday, very embarrassed sure and lost, somewhat uncomfortable, but not angry.
The whole thing in the hallway and carrying them was Yang's fault. Well 80% Yang's fault. Jaune was surprised that Pyrrha joined in and tried to out mess Yang. But everyone quickly learned that once Yang wanted to do something, it was very had to stop her.
And Yang never meant anything mean or malicious with her comments, jokes or actions. At least with them. It was embarrassing though. But due to the parts of him that were celebrating being so close to Yang and Pyrrha, carrying them. And that he could help Pyrrha. He counted the whole thing as a fun, good, time overall.
Though he was very unsure why Yang all of a sudden wanted to mess with him or Pyrrha by being all over him. Was it because of Pyrrha? Or something else?
Jaune was a bit confused about Ruby wanting to sit in his lap. Ruby did ask for hugs at times, but the lap sitting was new. Though after all that Pyrrha said would happen and having made the decision to help his friends, following along with Ruby's sitting arrangements was almost instinctual. Plus, Ruby was probably feeling left out.
And Jaune really couldn't say no to an excited, puppy eye giving Ruby. That Yang went along with Ruby was the surprising part. That Blake… cuddled… was that the right word… cozied up against Yang was even more surprising. That Weiss followed Ruby's sitting arrangement shocked Jaune.
Jaune guessed that like him, everyone wanted to be close, that hearing Pyrrha's version of the future and how sure she was that it happened, will happen. It affected everyone, even if they didn't fully believe Pyrrha. Made everyone stop for a second and consider each other.
They all only knew each other for 2 months, except for Ruby and Yang, but Jaune could honestly say that Pyrrha, Ruby, Nora and Ren were better friends than he ever had. He just clicked with Ruby and Pyrrha was honestly too good of a friend for him. That she forgave him for all the bullshit he put his team through with how he acted with Cardin. And took time to train him.
Team RWBY also got closer to each other after the disagreement between Weiss and Ruby was resolved. And after Blake started talking more. The rest of his team got closer too, Pyrrha and Nora became almost sister like and he considered Ren to be like a brother, what he imagined a quiet brother to be.
What would it feel like to lose those friendships, to truly argue with each other?
Jaune shook his head and went back to what Pyrrha was apologizing for. That she sat in between his legs.
That Pyrrha sat in between his legs did embarrass him, a lot, it made him slightly uncomfortable, though it also made him somewhat happy. That he could help Pyrrha, that Pyrrha found comfort with him. That she wanted to sit like that in front of the whole class. That she wanted to do that with him.
That Pyrrha kept him in a state of mostly erected for most of the class was uncomfortable and Jaune really didn't want to ask if that was by accident or on purpose. He would eventually, but not now.
Jaune let out a breath and moved his head to look down into Pyrrha's eyes "It was a bit uncomfortable and embarrassing" Jaune paused when he saw Pyrrha's face fall into a sad look "um, not that uncomfortable, I just didn't know why it all happened. And that carrying you two and you sitting in between my legs was in front of other people. "
Jaune continued "I'm just not used to it all. I'll do what can to help you Pyrrha, you know that. But everything with Yang was surprising. And public."
Pyrrha nodded, she guessed that she was acting somewhat forward, as she opened her mouth to say something she felt Jaune's thumb press into her lips as he continued.
"Not that it was bad, you and Yang messing with each other was pretty funny and carrying you two wasn't something I thought I would ever do. Seeing the looks on everyone's faces was funny though. And um, I um, I did like that you were okay, happy to sit in my lap." Jaune turned his head away from Pyrrha's when he felt his blush explode back onto his face, neck and ears.
Pyrrha felt herself regaining her smile, her sadness going away. Jaune was just too adorable. Pyrrha moved her head up a bit, nudging Jaune's cheek with her nose, "Thank you Jaune, I'll try to give you some space and let me know if I or Yang or anyone gets too close to you or embarrasses you, I'll stop or stop them."
As Pyrrha said that Jaune moved his head back to look at Pyrrha. Her nudging him with her nose was cute and Pyrrha being cute still didn't make sense.
But Pyrrha giving him space, them going back to how it was. It filled Jaune with a sudden dread, a sudden uneasiness, a surprisingly deep sense of potential loss. It was only a day that they were this close, but the closeness threw him for such a loop that he had to change so many of his previously held thoughts. Going back seemed wrong somehow.
"Um, it's fine, sitting beside each other and walking together is fine, um, good even. I'm glad, happy, that I can help you feel better, feel comfortable. And if you want to sit in my lap then… I'm good with that too… I'll let you know if anything makes me too uncomfortable or embarrassed."
Jaune finished by closing his eyes and surrendering to his blush, his heart racing because of what he just admitted.
Pyrrha held back a loud squeal and a scream of joy, of victory. Jaune wanted to stay this close. Pyrrha felt an intense need to kiss Jaune. She held it back and in place of making out with him she squeezed herself tighter against his chest and nuzzled her cheek against his.
After a moment of expressing her joy, seeing Jaune's blush turn a deep red, she let out a happy, satisfied noise. A sound she never made before. Like a mix between a hum, purr and groan, almost a moan. She then moved her head back onto his chest "We still have a few hours until we need to get up, I think some more sleep would be good for us."
Pyrrha was way too comfortable and warm and happy to even think about moving off Jaune, much less getting out of his bed.
Jaune nodded against Pyrrha soft and silky hair. "Yeah, it's only 6:20, some more sleep is a good idea." Jaune felt a smile grow on his face. He let out a deep relaxed groan and hugged Pyrrha even closer to him. His hand still on her butt, lightly squeezing it. When did he start doing that? Pyrrha was squeezing his butt right back, so he guessed it was fine.
As Pyrrha relaxed again, back to that dozing off state, Jaune's groan rumbling through her. She couldn't believe her luck. She could stay in bed with Jaune. She could stay close to Jaune. She could stop other girls from getting too close to Jaune. It was great.
- Scene Break -
After a busy day of classes, studying, spars and having strange looks thrown at her from her friends and everyone in the halls and class, Pyrrha was surprisingly tired. She, using the same argument as yesterday got into bed with Jaune and cozied up against him. Laying her head on his chest, her breasts squished against his chest and side, and wrapping one leg around his.
Pyrrha moved her head and groaned into Jaune's neck as she made herself comfortable. She felt Jaune wrap his arms around her and pull her even move into him. Onto him. As she finished her short trip and adjusted herself, she was now laying on top of Jaune.
Her face was against his neck, her body on top of his, her breasts now squished against his firm and warm chest, her legs now going in between his, her waist just below his. Pyrrha felt Jaune tighten his arms around her waist and back with one hand going up to her head. Where Jaune started to run his hand through her hair.
Pyrrha sighed happily. She wrapped her arms around his back and shoulders and nuzzled into his neck.
"Long day, huh?" Jaune asked after he moved Pyrrha on top of him, hoping that it was comfortable for Pyrrha. His sisters always liked to lay on top of him when they wanted him to comfort them. To pay full attention to them. Jaune tighten his hold on Pyrrha even more and ran his hand through her soft and silky hair.
Pyrrha groaned again and pressed her face even more against Jaune's neck. It was a long day, her good mood and mostly clear head meant that she caught a lot of what she must have missed yesterday.
All the comments of her acting weirdly or strangely, the comments of her being too close to Jaune, the put downs of Jaune. All the side glances at them when they walked arm in arm or when she leaned against him when they sat.
Even Goodwitch looked at her, them, oddly. Like she was seeing something she couldn't believe.
And team RWBY looked at her with weird expressions, though that she expected. She knew that they didn't really believe her vision and wouldn't until they confirmed the details she gave them yesterday. If they still didn't believe her, she would give them even more personal details.
But thankfully for her and Jaune, Nora and Ren acted the same, apart from a few knowing looks, which Pyrrha couldn't even guess at. Ruby was a bit cautious around her, but she acted the same with Jaune, them talking about the Huntsman movie and the episodes they just watched. And which ones to watch next.
Yang was pretty much the same as yesterday as well, except a few glances at her which were almost worrying, expecting? Which Pyrrha found strange. Yang didn't seem like a girl who pondered on things. Though Yang did worry about her family and friends. Which could be it. Pyrrha wasn't sure.
Blake looked almost scared of her, giving her odd looks that could have meant something if she knew Blake's expressions better. Pyrrha hoped that once she had a few minutes to talk to Blake in private, she could get Blake to ease up a bit. To get Blake to understand the she wouldn't do anything against her.
Weiss gave her a range of looks from disbelief to wariness to dismissal to curiosity. Pyrrha was really thankful for her vision for that knowledge. She would be the hardest one to convince that her vision was real. Probably only when Cinder and her minions came that she could really prove everything to Weiss.
The rest of Beacon's students, fellow hunters all, annoyed her throughout the day. To the point that she nearly punched a few people and did go off at a fourth year who insulted Jaune, to her face, in front of Jaune. The fourth year running away from her did make Pyrrha happy. And if she wanted to fight then Pyrrha would gladly fight her.
It did make Pyrrha feel very bad for Jaune, how he had to go through all that yesterday alone. Pyrrha knew that she was too deep in her vision and the memories and feelings that came from it to notice much yesterday.
Though Jaune was just great during the day, he let her walk arm in arm with him and sit almost in his lap. And while he flinched and twitched at some of the comments and looks, he never pulled away. What made Pyrrha unbelievably angry was how Jaune reacted to Yang's comment at lunch.
Yang after looking around the cafeteria said "Well looks like you won't be winning any popularity contests."
To which Jaune replied with a fake, forced dismissive attitude "Eh, what else is new. Wasn't ever the popular kid at school. Used to it, still the cool guy." Jaune ended with a downcast look and forced relaxed posture.
Pyrrha saw Yang, Ruby and Nora stiffen, with Nora throwing dirty looks around the cafeteria. Ren looked at Jaune, while even Blake and Weiss glanced at Jaune.
Jaune never did talk about his school life before Beacon, family and home life, yes, school, almost never. Pyrrha knew that that was a talk they needed to have, but later.
Pyrrha pulled herself from her thoughts and answers "Yes, today was a bad day. Was yesterday like that? With all the comments and looks and reactions?"
Jaune shook his head "Not really, everyone was mostly shocked yesterday. Today I guess they got past their shock and started talking about us."
Pyrrha sighed sadly "I'm sorry Jaune, you know that you are a better person than any of them." Pyrrha then leaned in close to Jaune's ear "Transcript faking and lies included." Pyrrha then moved her head back to where it was, face pressed against Jaune's neck. She smiled widely.
Pyrrha heard Jaune groan, felt the vibrations run through her. He then squeezed her upper body and head against his chest. "We joking about it now? I'm not proud of it." Jaune whined out. "But thanks, Pyrrha."
Pyrrha chuckled as Jaune eased the tension in his arms, releasing her from being squished. But Pyrrha didn't move anywhere. She snuggled a bit to get more comfortable and sighed.
"I really don't like that, because of what people think of me, they feel like they are free to make those comments against you Jaune." Pyrrha ended by hugging Jaune even more, pulling herself up a bit, rubbing her cheek against his.
Jaune let out a breath "I think that even if you weren't famous, they would still say those things." Jaune paused for a second "A girl like you and a guy like me, don't exactly go together."
Jaune could only imagine what everyone at Beacon was thinking seeing Pyrrha cuddling against him the whole day. That was something that shouldn't happen. Doesn't happen. Pyrrha was so ridiculously out of his league that it was laughable.
It also annoyed Jaune, annoyed him a lot more than he expected. Pyrrha wanted to be that close to him, felt comfortable with him. What did the others that Beacon know? Nothing. Jaune tightened his arms around Pyrrha a bit.
Pyrrha let out a quiet sad "Oh, Jaune." His self-esteem was always an issue. She didn't know what happened in his childhood, before Beacon, that caused the issue. But it was something that she needed fix.
"You know I don't care what everyone thinks. I already told you, I want to be close to you, so they will just have to deal with it." Pyrrha smiled against Jaune's neck and shoulder. Still rubbing her cheek against his.
Jaune chuckled "Don't think anyone would say anything about it to you, me on the other hand."
Pyrrha moved her hand to the top of Jaune's head and started running her hand through his soft and fluffy hair, like he was still petting her hair. "If anyone says anything, let me know and I'll fix their attitude."
Jaune smiled, feeling Pyrrha laying on top of him, her body warm, her boobs squished against his chest, his hand feeling her soft, silky hair run through his fingers. Jaune could honestly say he was more comfortable than he ever remembered being.
It still surprised him that for how tall and strong Pyrrha was, she was this light. Even with her fully laying on top of him, he had no problems breathing. Pyrrha was just great. Jaune groaned and relaxed into his bed. "Sure Pyrrha, I'll look forward to seeing you own them."
Pyrrha blushed a bit at that, her smile widening. It made her so happy that Jaune became so relaxed and accepting of her close contact so quickly. She knew that she would have a rough time in changing the future, but having Jaune this close to her for the rest of the year, hopefully much closer once they got together. Would be a great help.
Pyrrha let out a relaxed groan, she could hear Nora mumbling away, Ren completely quiet. Both asleep for a while. Tomorrow was shaping up to being a long day as well, a full day of classes, studying and training.
"We should really get some sleep; tomorrow will be a full day." Pyrrha said while moving her head a bit, so that it lay more comfortably against Jaune's neck and shoulder. She really didn't want to think about having to sleep alone. "Goodnight Jaune."
Jaune smiled, Pyrrha was acting cuter than she should be. He moved his hand from her hair to her back and leaned his head against hers. "Goodnight Pyrrha."
- Scene Break -
Pyrrha snapped awake with a gasp, her muscles tense, her breathing heavy, sweating all over. She could still feel the arrow in her chest, the burning from the fight with Cinder. But now with added hopelessness of falling into the void. The pain of having to kill Penny.
Poor Jaune.
The rage she felt being reinforced by Jaune's rage against Cinder. That Cinder couldn't just leave them alone. That she had to follow them across the whole world and spread only pain and torment.
Pyrrha could feel her disgust at feeling Cinder's joy and self-satisfaction when spreading terror, when attacking innocents. Just to get their attention. Not even all of the group's, Ruby's and Jaune's. And whoever the maiden was.
Pyrrha gripped the band she felt wrapped around her waist, to rip it off her. But felt warmth and soft skin, not metal or a skeletal Grimm arm.
Pyrrha blinked and looked down, there was a blanket on top of her, moving it down showed the band being an arm. A familiar arm. As Pyrrha was about to turn around she felt the arm wrapped around her waist pull her back further into something firm and warm.
Pyrrha blinked and looked behind her. It was Jaune. Her back was against his chest, one of his arms was wrapped around her waist, his other arm was under the pillow. She woke up with her head on his arm.
She was with Jaune. In Jaune's bed. Pyrrha let out a shuddering breath, her breathing slowly going back to normal, her muscles relaxing. She moved her head back onto the pillow, laying it on Jaune firm arm. Pyrrha let out another shuddering breath.
It was the vision again, bit and pieces, plus a few new details. Jaune had to kill Penny to save the maiden power. Make sure that Winter got it. Ironwood went crazy, falling into a deep paranoia. The small sidekick, Roman's sidekick, became obsessed with revenge.
Atlas and Mantle were worse places than she thought, she was told. A floating city with no air defenses. A city with a wall with no guns on it. Atlas, the supposedly 'best military' having no defenses apart from the ships and robots. Giving up a city to the Grimm.
Pyrrha shut her eyes, trying to keep the sight of Jaune having to kill Penny away. His pain and anger and rage and sadness. All because Cinder and Salem and Ironwood and Ozpin… Ozma? Because of them Jaune had to kill Penny, a newly human Penny. A just saved Penny.
Pyrrha held back a sob and grabbed Jaune's hand, she brought it up and clasped it with both of her hands. Bringing her hands and his hand and pressed them into her breasts. She slightly adjusted her hands to cradle his hand tightly.
Pyrrha could feel her pain slowly going away. Her breathing evening out. She clutched Jaune's hand even tighter and thought about moving.
So the vision wasn't a one time thing that released more information as the faded events became clearer in her head. This time though, the vision was focused, just on a few events, a few terrible moments. Pyrrha shut her eyes. Poor Jaune. Poor Penny.
She couldn't even imagine what Jaune would feel or do because he killed Penny. Because he was forced to kill Penny by Cinder, by Winter, by the plan. Because Ironwood fucked up so royally. Because of Salem and Ozpin.
Pyrrha held down a nearly savage growl. The more of the future became clear to her the more she was tempted to take Jaune and run away. Or follow her crazy aunt's advice and kill everyone that caused them, him, pain and torment.
Pyrrha let go of Jaune's hand and turned around so that her face was pressed against Jaune's neck, her breasts against Jaune's chest, her legs tangled with his. As Pyrrha snuggled into Jaune she claimed Jaune's hand back, clasped it tightly with hers and brought it back to almost in-between her breasts. Her other arm wrapped around Jaune's back. Very tightly. Almost too tightly.
She heard Jaune's breathing break a bit, a few gasps and groans. But Pyrrha didn't ease her grip. She would NOT let Jaune go through that. Having to kill a friend, just as he slowly moved on from her death. Being force to kill Penny. Because of the bitch that killed her.
Pyrrha could not fully hold back another growl. Her chest rumbling against Jaune's, her heated breath on Jaune's neck.
Yes, she should follow her aunt's advice. Her aunt was a operative for the Mistral council, part of a team tasked with keeping the peace in the city. She was part of a now defunct army unit and a very good huntress in her own right. Her weapon was a dust sniper, much smaller than Ruby's and more effective over long distances. She really needed to talk with auntie Melite.
Pyrrha could just shoot Cinder the second she walked up to Beacon, or when she knew that Cinder would be in Vale. Vale wasn't a dangerous city, but things happen.
Pyrrha clutched Jaune's hand even tighter and squished it even more against her breasts as she pressed herself more into Jaune. Jaune was a kind, goofy, adorable guy that just wanted to be helpful. To show people that they could rely on him. That he could protect and save people.
Jaune really was an admirable guy. And having to kill a friend. It might break him. Pyrrha went through any memories she had of after the fall into the void, but she could not find anything clear. It was all faded, even the final battle was faded.
Pyrrha tighten her arm around Jaune's back even more. She would not let anything like that happen. Not to Jaune. Her Jaune. As Pyrrha could now hear Jaune's breathing become gasping, each breath a struggle. With a oh from her, Pyrrha eased her grip. Letting Jaune breathe normally.
Jaune was pulled out of sleep by pressure, something firm wrapped around his back and sides, squeezing into him. Jaune gasped for breath. What was happening? He felt a familiar warmth and firmness pressed against his chest, his legs tangled and one of his hands grasped by soft and strong fingers.
As Jaune looked down the pressure making it hard to breathe eased and he could breathe normally. Taking deep breaths, he saw red hair. Pyrrha. The warmth and firmness and softness, it was her. As Jaune looked he couldn't see her face, it was pressed into his neck. Pyrrha's warm breath coming out rapidly.
"Pyrrha?" Jaune asked in a rough voice.
Pyrrha blinked, she woke up Jaune. "Yes." Pyrrha replied in her own rough voice, some of her rage carrying through. A growl still trying to get out.
Jaune's eyes snapped fully open, he never heard Pyrrha sound like that. She sounded angry. Her voice was rough and thick. She sounded a bit scary. And…
Jaune flexed his hands a bit, a habit of his when worrying, though one arm was asleep under Pyrrha's pillow and his other was squished between him and Pyrrha. He could feel Pyrrha's firm stomach and boobs. Her large, not in a bra boobs. What was happening that he could say that feeling Pyrrha's amazing boobs squished against him was normal now.
Jaune blushed a bit "You okay?"
Pyrrha shook her head.
"The vision again?" Jaune asked, half dreading the answer and the look of pain he imagined on Pyrrha's face.
Pyrrha nodded against Jaune's neck and pulled her head back to look at Jaune. She adjusted herself a bit and now was looking straight ahead into Jaune's eyes.
Jaune gasped, apart from a slightly pained expression, Pyrrha looked angry, could Pyrrha do angry? Annoyed yes, but angry. Enraged even. "What happened, what did you see?"
Pyrrha stared at Jaune for a second "I was shown something clearer. What happens in Atlas. At the end of the fight there."
Jaune gulped "What happens?"
Pyrrha huffed "You don't want to know Jaune. It would only hurt you." She squeezed Jaune's hand more.
Jaune nodded, he could respect Pyrrha trying to not share everything since she wanted to change the future, but if it was about him… he wanted to know. "If I did something or something happened to me, shouldn't I know."
Pyrrha shut her eyes and shook her head, no he didn't have to know. It wouldn't do anyone any good. But she couldn't keep things away from Jaune. She could feel that part of her, the part that liked Jaune, the part that was reinforced with all her feelings from the vision. The part of her that planned on killing someone for Jaune.
"You had to do something very unfortunate, very painful during the fight to help everyone. To help for the next fight. To help protect the people of Mantle and Atlas." Pyrrha said in a serious tone, she ended by nearly growling out "Something you were forced to do by everyone."
Jaune blinked in shock, he never heard Pyrrha sound like that. So serious. And did Pyrrha actually growl? He could feel the rumble from Pyrrha's growl shake his chest. "What did I have to do? Was forced to do?"
Pyrrha didn't know if she should tell Jaune about the maidens. But she wouldn't be able to explain it without the issue with how the maiden power is transferred. Damn Ozpin and his cartoon solution to protecting powerful artifacts.
Pyrrha sighed, Jaune wasn't the best at keeping secrets, so she couldn't tell him. But it was Jaune, she should tell him, she trusted him with everything. She was in bed, snuggled, squished against him, feeling his hand against her breast, his dick between her thighs. Pressing against her...
She wouldn't be in this position with anyone else. Only Jaune. She knew he wouldn't do anything to her. Trusted him that much. He, apart from the very beginning, never did anything against her. Always was there for her. Always wanted to help her. She was worse to him. A worse friend. To the man she liked… loved. To her Jaune.
Last time she didn't, wouldn't, tell Jaune about the maidens, what Ozpin told her. And she sent him into a wall for asking. She sent him away for the fight against Cinder. Not taking anything he said into account. Pyrrha was deeply troubled and angry at herself for those actions.
She trusted Jaune fully, but… and she could make up for those times. Which Jaune knew nothing about. But which gnawed on her conscience since the vision showed her.
Pyrrha sighed "I... you… I don't want to tell you. Not because I don't trust you, I do, I trust you more than anyone. It's just in the future, a lot of our problems, my death, the fights. They all are caused by this. And nothing would make me happier than you never knowing about it."
Pyrrha brought up one hand to Jaune's face and placed it on his cheek. She squeezed his hand with her other hand. "But…" She moved her other hand to cup Jaune's other cheek. She then moved Jaune's face down a bit. Pressing her hands harder against Jaune's cheeks, her thumbs rubbing his lips.
"If you really want to know then I'll tell you, you deserve to know. But please Jaune…" Pyrrha said sadly, almost desperately. She ended by looking directly into Jaune's eyes, pleading him not to ask. But knowing that he would. If only to help her. Jaune was great, and annoying like that.
Jaune blinked again, never in his widest dreams would he ever think Pyrrha could sound and look like that. This whole very early AM, 4:17 showing on the clock, was just new things about Pyrrha. The she could be angry and growl and show such sad eyes. Like a big puppy… fox… cat… some cute potentially dangerous animal being kicked while down.
Jaune wanted to know what he did, what would cause this reaction from Pyrrha. But just asking for it, demanding it, it felt wrong. Mean.
Jaune moved his hand from under the pillow to on top and cupped Pyrrha's cheek with it. He felt Pyrrha rub her cheek against his hand.
Jaune smiled a sad smile "You know, my mom always said, a problem shared is a problem halved. That it is never good keeping things bottled up. Though I was never that good at following her advice." Jaune let out a quiet sad chuckle.
"I would like to know, to help you carry everything you're feeling. But you don't have to tell me." Jaune said pressing his hand more against her cheek and wrapping his other arm around her back.
Pyrrha shook her head "That's a mean move Jaune." She then flicked his forehead with her finger. Afterwards bringing her hand back to Jaune's cheek. Rubbing both of them. Feeling Jaune rub his cheeks against her hand.
She saw Jaune smile. "They are called Maidens, women with super powerful abilities, like controlling the elements. Ages ago a wizard gave 4 young women these powers and the power has been transferred from woman to young girl ever since. There is a fairy tale about it, but it is real."
She saw Jaune look at her confused "One of the maidens is here at Beacon, very hurt, on life support. Cinder attacked Beacon to get the maiden's power. She already attacked her and she is the reason why the maiden is on life support." Pyrrha felt Jaune tense up. His arm tightened around her.
Pyrrha rubbed Jaune's soft lips more, petting his cheeks. "They wanted me to take the power, become the new maiden. It's the reason why Cinder attacked me, why I was killed." Pyrrha heard Jaune gasp, his arm becoming almost painfully tight around her. His other hand held her face tight as he looked into her eyes.
Pyrrha looked at him sadly and pressed her thumbs into his lips before he could say anything. "During the fight in Atlas, the maiden there was injured by Cinder, and she made a choice to pass the maiden power to someone who could help the people of Atlas and Mantle more."
Pyrrha looked down, "But to do that she needed to die. And she couldn't be killed by Cinder. So…"
Pyrrha looked back into Jaune's eyes.
Jaune felt his throat close up, a shudder run down his back. What was Pyrrha implying? Super nature powers aside. Fairy tale being real aside. Pyrrha saying that it was real went a long way in convincing Jaune that it was all real.
As a hard rule, Pyrrha didn't lie. If only for the 2 months he knew her.
But did Pyrrha mean that to get the power transferred to another person on their side, he killed the maiden because she asked?
Jaune gulped, trying to ease his dry throat. "She asked me to kill her, so that the power could be passed on safely."
Pyrrha nodded. "You don't know her now, but she was a friend to you and very close with Ruby. You were in such pain and so very angry when you killed her." Pyrrha felt tears leaving her eyes. Pyrrha blinked, trying to stop the tears, she was crying? The last time she cried was when her dad died.
Jaune blinked slowly, he could not imagine what had to be happening to make him kill someone. A friend. He then saw a sight he would never forget. A sight that skipped pulling at his heartstrings and went straight to tearing his heart apart. Pyrrha started crying softly, quietly.
Jaune gasped and pulled Pyrrha into him, Pyrrha moved her face into his neck, his chin on her soft silky hair. She then wrapped her legs around his waist, making him bend his legs up. So that she was basically sitting in his lap. Arms and legs wrapped around him.
Jaune moved one hand to pet her head.
He really didn't know what to do, he started by saying the regular things, don't worry, its fine, everything is fine, that won't happen.
As Jaune comforted Pyrrha, desperately trying to get her to stop crying, his mind wondered back to what Pyrrha said. The maidens, super powerful people, women from what Pyrrha said. The power that Cinder wanted. How could she steal that power? Was she working alone with only minions?
And they, whoever they were, wanted to make Pyrrha a maiden. Which brought Cinder's attention onto Pyrrha. Jaune tightened his hold on Pyrrha. He couldn't let that happen. Pyrrha couldn't become a maiden. Cinder kills her for that reason.
Jaune knew there was more that Pyrrha wasn't telling him, but he had time to ask about more. Though he had a feeling that things would be getting interesting once the other schools came for the tournament. So, he had another 2 months of relative quiet to ask Pyrrha anything.
He also needed to train more, so that he was strong enough to stand beside Pyrrha during any upcoming fights. So that Pyrrha's belief in him was proven true.
Jaune really hoped Pyrrha would stop crying quickly, he didn't know how much his heart could take. It is such a heart rending, soul rending thing. Pyrrha crying softly, trying not to wake Nora or Ren. Crying over how much pain he would be in. Pyrrha cared that much about him?
Pyrrha snuggled against Jaune, as close as she could. She could feel her tears roll down her cheeks and onto Jaune's chest, to be absorbed by his soft shirt.
After a while, Pyrrha felt her coming back to herself, she stopped crying a little bit before and was just wrapped up with Jaune. Slowly feeling better and better. In a few hours then would need to get up for classes. She hoped that her eyes weren't puffy.
Though Pyrrha could honestly say that she felt better than before. Letting herself cry a bit, letting the feelings out. Feeling the care and warmth and comfort from Jaune. It was all helpful. She still wouldn't go pulling that memory up. But it wasn't so heavy now.
Jaune just kept petting Pyrrha's hair and trying to reassure her, as best he could. He couldn't imagine having to watch, having to feel someone kill a friend.
He really was tempted to force Pyrrha to stay in bed, but he knew she wouldn't without him. Thankfully she stopped crying. And thankfully as well, due to the time and how quiet Pyrrha was, muffled even more by his neck, Nora and Ren gave no signs of waking up.
Jaune squeezed her even more to him. They still had a few hours before they had to get up for classes. "Thanks for telling me. I'm so sorry that you had to experience it."
Pyrrha nodded against his neck. "Can we stay like this for a while?"
"Sure Pyrrha" Jaune said, then followed an urge to nuzzle the top of Pyrrha's head. Her hair was so soft.
They stayed like that until they had to get up. Getting up and going to breakfast was done reluctantly. Very reluctantly. Jaune was sure that Pyrrha should have taken a rest day. Pyrrha was feeling bad, terrible even, compared to yesterday morning and how good she felt then.
This day was long as well. Pyrrha being cuddlier than even the first day. She was always touching Jaune somehow. Wrapping an arm around him while walking or standing, sitting pressed up against him. Which caused the same comments like yesterday.
But today Pyrrha was in no mood to let anything pass, so almost everyone got glared at by Pyrrha. Her pressing herself even more into Jaune while glaring. The glaring, hysterical, for Yang and Nora who were watching everything, caused more than a few people to trip themselves up and fall. More jumped back. Most got a shocked looks on their face.
Yang did feel vindicated, Pyrrha glaring was wrong and pretty scary and deeply unsettling. So, all the reactions made her feel better. Blake was feeling the same thing, a Pyrrha glare was an unsettling thing, something that shouldn't be. So, everyone reacting spooked made her feel better.
- Scene Break -
Before anyone knew it the rest of the week went by quickly and Pyrrha was waking up to a good Sunday morning. She thankfully didn't have to experience any other focused traumatic memories from her vision over the last few days. The rest of the nights were good, great even. Quiet and so comfortable.
Jaune was letting her get into bed with him, no questions, and even better was that Nora stopped making comments and just gave them knowing looks. To which Pyrrha smiled back. It made Pyrrha very happy. And hopeful that Jaune would continue to let her sleep with him.
The days were better, maybe because of her glaring at everyone, the number of comments against Jaune and their closeness dropped by a lot. Classes were fully focused on reviewing and completing the last projects due before the midterms.
The studying was pretty successful as well, weirdly both teams studied together over the week. Pyrrha was thankful for it, between Weiss's knowledge, Blake's reference pages and Ren's notes, they had everything they needed. Pyrrha knew that Jaune and Ruby were never so prepared for any test.
Saturday went by too quickly, finishing of the last of the assignments and homework and doing an extended training session with Jaune. Basically, a review of everything she taught him over the last month and bit. It turned out that this Jaune was just a bit better than before Jaune. Her Jaune? Well, he was her Jaune too…
But training went well, Pyrrha focused more on shield work and techniques, to move Jaune closer to a true sword and shield fighter. His endurance was good as always, even at the end, covered in sweat with his arms trembling he still wanted to train.
Pyrrha had to fight back so many sudden images of what else could lead to a exhausted, panting, sweaty Jaune. With her in the same state. A ruined bed. And worse, a sweaty Jaune smelled oddly good, musky, but not offensive. Pyrrha ended the training then before she jumped Jaune.
Pyrrha unfortunately didn't find the time to talk with Blake, but thankfully Ruby, Yang, Blake and even Weiss stopped looking at her strangely all the time. They asked her some more questions, mainly just having her clarify what she already said. But like everyone else, reviews, studying, training and assignments took up way too much of her and their time.
Saturday ended with another movie night… TV night? They watched more episodes of the Huntsman. With the same sitting arrangement, which annoyed Pyrrha even more than last time. She made up for it by sitting so close to Jaune that her and Ruby's shoulders were pressed together. Much to Ruby's confusion.
Yang laughed at that throughout the evening, spread out, cozied up against Jaune's side. Winking at her whenever she looked at Yang. Blake seemed content to relax against Yang's side and Weiss unlike last time was spread out beside her. She did work very hard during the week so Pyrrha understood.
Nora was of course beside Ren, eyeing him worryingly.
Pyrrha was waking up due to movement again. This time happy and content.
As Pyrrha came too she felt what it was that woke her, it was Jaune's hand rubbing her stomach, under her tank top. Pyrrha blinked as she felt more of how they were sleeping. They were in her least favorite position. Jaune spooning her from behind. Her back pressed into his chest.
Though the stomach rubbing was new, and feeling Jaune's dick pressed against her butt, was an interesting feeling. Not bad, but it made her want to move and feel how different it would be to have his dick pressed up against her fully from behind.
Pyrrha sighed happy and snuggled more into Jaune, her face into the pillow.
Then Jaune's hand rubbing her stomach moved up, causing Pyrrha to gasp. Jaune was touching her breasts, her boobs. A level 10 blush exploded on Pyrrha's face as her body went completely still. Jaune's hand curled up and pressed into the underside of her breasts. And rubbed there, back and forth his hand moved. Then after a moment it moved back down.
Pyrrha felt it, completely focused on Jaune's hand. It slowly moved down her lower chest to her stomach, his hand and fingers a bit rough. And so very warm. He stopped when his hand hit the waistband of her shorts. Then it moved back up to rub the underside of her boobs again.
Pyrrha's breathing became heavy, her hot exhales heating up the pillow. Her legs squirmed a bit. She could feel her butt rubbing Jaune's dick a bit. Which cased her bite back a groan and heated her body up even more.
Jaune wasn't even doing anything, just rubbing her stomach and underside of her breasts. Not anything sensitive. But Pyrrha had to bite her lips to keep in a moan when Jaune's hand move bit and his thumb curled up one of breasts.
Pyrrha had to stop this, her body was heating up more, she was beginning to sweat, her breathing getting heavier. Jaune's sudden groan, moan, into her ear, his hot breath hitting her neck. Made her squeeze her legs together. Pushing up into Jaune's dick by accident.
She grabbed his hand and moved it to her stomach, putting her hand on top of his and grasping it. She also moved her hip a bit away from Jaune's dick.
Pyrrha panted, that was almost too much. She never knew that she was so sensitive. That Jaune just rubbing her a bit would cause her to react like this. She felt too hot, her body heated, her thighs clenched together, rubbing. Her core tingly, a wetness between her legs.
Pyrrha couldn't even imagine how she would react if Jaune rubbed her nipples or her… vagina… pussy… she blushed more, directly. She might just cum right then and there. She didn't think she had a short fuse. But that it was Jaune.
Pyrrha panted a bit more into the pillow, her face pressed into it. Trying to calm herself down. She knew that her feelings… view of… near obsession… her thing with Jaune was strange, unhealthy even. So much of her mental state and emotions are tied up with Jaune. A guy she knew for 2 months and a school year and 2 years.
What she felt for him, how much she wanted him, how she reacted to him. All tangled together with her feelings, her feelings from the vision and what she felt because of what the vision showed her. Made her live through.
Pyrrha groaned into the pillow, it was too much. She wanted Jaune, wanted to be with Jaune. He was HER Jaune. The vision showed her that, her feelings made that clear. She could be strange, unbalanced, with him. Nothing would make her happier.
Pyrrha tighten her grip on Jaune's hand and felt herself relaxing. Her body cooling down.
It was a Sunday morning, Jaune was still asleep, Ren and Nora were probably in the cafeteria or common room. Pyrrha sighed. A few more hours in bed with Jaune sounded great.
And plus, Pyrrha thought with a growing smirk, Jaune's subconscious was giving her all the hope. He rubbed her butt while sleeping, rubbed her back, rubbed her stomach and now wanted to rub her breasts. Pyrrha felt very confident that Jaune like her body. Found her attractive. And he always complimented her.
Pyrrha went back to sleep with a smirk on her face and images, scenes, of seducing Jaune in her head.
Jaune continued sleeping comfortably, having no idea what he did to Pyrrha and what Pyrrha was planning for him.
- Scene Break -
While Pyrrha dreamed happy dreams of seducing Jaune and Ren made pancakes for Nora in one of the common room kitchens as Nora watched and kept a running commentary on what the pancakes should be and how Pyrrha and Jaune would get together. And Jaune dreamed of metals, pudding and soft warm blankets.
Yang was getting ready to leave her room to talk with her dad and Qrow about Raven. Very annoyingly when she messaged her dad to talk about something with him and Qrow. Her dad came back saying Sunday morning being a good time as Qrow was coming back to the house Saturday.
She wondered of talking to them separately might be a better option, but she came to the conclusion that talking to them together would be better. They would look at each other and hopefully provide hints to the real truth.
Yang wanted to know if Pyrrha was right about Raven days ago, but only her dad and Qrow could confirm everything Pyrrha said. Hopefully they would at least answer her questions unlike every other time.
Yang shook her head. It would be a pain, but she had a plan. To tell them everything Pyrrha said as if it was a fact she found out. And see if they defended Raven, said nothing or changed the subject.
Yang glanced down at her scroll, almost time. She turned to see Ruby putting on a shirt, Blake putting on her shoes and Weiss finishing up with her hair. Huh. "So, what are you all getting dressed for?"
Ruby looked at Yang "I'm going with you." She said in the most straightforward manner she could.
Yang blinked "You don't have to come along, Raven doesn't really…" Yang was interrupted by Ruby.
"Nope, nope, I'm going with you" she said while moving to stand beside Yang. Ruby smiled up at her sister. She shouldn't be alone for this.
Yang nodded at Ruby and smiled, she then rubbed Ruby's head causing a "Yaaaannnnng, stoooop." From her adorable sister.
Yang looked at Blake and Weiss "And you two?"
Blake looked at her partner "We are going with you too. We talked about it and if you let us, we want to be there too. We are partners and a team." Blake paused and Weiss nodded at Yang. "We can stand out of frame."
Yang scratched her head, Blake was being nice again, partnery again. Oh Blakey. Yang smile "Sure, sure, you came come along, though now with everyone come with, we could just stay in the room."
After a moment Yang looked at Weiss. "And what's your reason Weissy?"
Weiss sighed "Apart from what Blake just said, if what Pyrrha said about Raven is true. I can't think of another way that Pyrrha could have known that. I tried, but aside from her learning from someone that Raven or your father told. Very unlikely. It would mean…"
Everyone in the room froze, Yang really didn't think much into it, more focused on confirming that what Pyrrha said about Raven was true. But if it was then… Pyrrha had a vision of the future, a true vision. Yang felt a shudder go down her back. Everything that Pyrrha could know...
Blake nodded, she was already half convinced based on what Pyrrha said about her mom, but if what Pyrrha said about Raven was true as well. An actual vision of the future, potential future. Blake unknowingly copied her partner and had a shudder run down her spine. What Pyrrha could do with what she knew…
Ruby looked from Weiss to Yang, if Raven was Yang's birth mother and a bandit, a bad person. Then what Pyrrha said was the future, might actually be what will happen. Ruby clenched her fist. A future that they would have to change.
Weiss looked down after saying that. If Pyrrha did have a true vision, did know the future. Then she had so many questions. And Weiss had a sudden spike of uneasiness run through her. Pyrrha being the one that knew the future could be good or… Pyrrha wasn't the easiest person to read. But she was a good person… right?
Yang looked at her team, "If it is true, then we at least have someone who knows what might happen, right? Oh, and she might know every test answer." Yang smiled as Ruby giggled, Blake shook her head and Weiss sighed.
Pyrrha was their friend and a genuinely good person, everything would be fine.
Yang looked at the time, "Okay, show time, Rubes get over here beside me and you two, stand over there." Yang said as she moved to sit on her bed and pointed at Weiss's bed.
The girls moved quickly, Ruby plopping down beside her a second later, a rose petal falling down on her leg, and Weiss and Blake sat down on Weiss's bed. All three looked at her expectantly.
Yang nodded at them and called her dad… ring… ring…
Her dad's face popped up on her scroll and Yang smiled, only two months and she kind of missed him, lame as he was. "Hi dad" she said as Ruby jumped in with a "Hi" waving her hand.
Ruby missed her dad as well, sure she talked with him from time to time over the two months, but before that he was always there. Just a yell away. Ruby smiled at him as well.
"Hi girls" Tai said seeing both of his daughters, wondering what Yang wanted to talk about that would include Ruby.
"Where's Qrow?" Yang asked not seeing him.
"Oh, is your dad not enough, I see how it is." Tai joked, looking over to Qrow who just walked into the room "He is coming now." He tilted the scroll over to show Qrow.
A second later Qrow sat down beside Tai "Hey girls, what's up?"
Both Yang and Ruby said hi to Qrow then Ruby looked at Yang. Yang took in a deep calming breath. Okay, no worries, just a life changing conversation. She has this.
Yang saw her dad and Qrow look at each other, "Okay, what I wanted to talk to you about is some information I found out about my mother."
Yang felt Ruby stiffen beside her and put a hand on her leg, rubbing her thigh gently. Yang smiled at Ruby. She also saw her dad and Qrow looking at each other again and at her.
"About Summer? What, Glynda or Port are spreading rumors? Your mom was such a good student, so don't believe their stories, especially Port's." Tai said, glancing that Qrow, really hoping that it was a story about Summer.
"Yeah, she was such a stick in the mud at times." Qrow said with a fond expression. Also glancing at Tai.
Yang sighed, growing annoyed, she said her mother, not their mom. A massive distinction. Yang looked at her dad who was already giving Qrow looks.
Whelp, hard way it is, she hoped now that she was at Beacon, basically an adult, that dad and Qrow wouldn't play the your too young or we know better games.
Yang shook her head "No, not Summer, Raven, my birth mother, your sister Qrow. And your first wife dad."
Just as her dad opened his mouth to say something, Yang continued "You know, Raven Branwen, leader of a bandit tribe, left me as a baby to go back to stealing and attacking people. Have to say dad, not the best choice for a wife."
Yang saw her dad and Qrow not quite catch their looks of shock. So, there was some truth to what Pyrrha said.
Yang stared at her dad and Qrow, daring them to say anything.
Tai was shocked to his core, how did Yang find out, he did everything to make sure she didn't. Raven, as much as she was a friend and he grew to love her, she turned out to still be the bandit she was before Beacon. Now stronger. And he didn't want Yang to think she was connected to her mother somehow.
Qrow blinked, how did Yang find out about his sister, did Ozpin say something? He didn't think anyone knew. Raven never said anything to anyone and he knew that apart from Ozpin, Glynda and Ironwood, no one else should know.
After a moment of silence Yang sighed loudly "Well? Dad? Qrow? Anything to add? Like how two bandits became students at Beacon or why you had a kid with her dad? Or, oh I know, the full reason why she left?"
Tai looked into his daughter's eyes, she looked resolute and sure, Ruby looked at him with her puppy eyes, pleading him to answer Yang. Tai sighed and looked to Qrow, who had a deep frown on his face.
How did she find out? Was it Ozpin? He promised to not involve his daughters.
Yang looked at her dad, she could feel Ruby wrapping an arm around her back, leaning on her. Got to love Rubes.
Yang then heard Qrow let out a loud sigh, she turned her attention to him.
Qrow looked at his niece, probably the only good thing that Raven did for the world. He could see Ruby looking at him, her look imploring him to answer truthfully.
After a quick look with Tai, he made a decision, Tai might still see Yang as his baby daughter. The small girl that had to take care of him after Summer died. The girl that Tai was still feeling guilty towards. But Qrow knew that she wasn't that small kid any more.
Qrow knew that Yang wanted to know why her birth mother left, and would continue to look into it. If they told her nothing, she may try to dig even deeper. Get herself into some trouble she couldn't get out of.
Qrow sighed "Whoever told you that, left out some details."
Tai's eyes snapped to Qrow "Qrow, what are you doing?"
"She has to know someday, guess that day could be today. She basically knows it already." Qrow answered.
Tai stared at Qrow for a moment, "Fine, but I tell her."
Qrow nodded back and took a drink from his flask.
Yang was shocked, it was true? What Pyrrha said was true? Her birth mother was a bandit that left her and her dad to back to hurting people.
Ruby looked at Yang with wide eyes, it was true? What Pyrrha said was true?
On the other bed Weiss and Blake were shocked as well. Both looking at Yang. Poor Yang. Blake blinked Pyrrha was right… Weiss followed Blake into that thought, Pyrrha was right.
Tai sighed "What you already said is mostly true."
Surprisingly Ruby was the one that jumped in "Mostly true?"
Tai and Qrow nodded, Tai continued "Raven and Qrow were the kids of the leader of the tribe, which yes was a bandit tribe. They went to Beacon to learn how to fight huntsmen, but during their time at Beacon they changed."
"Well, as it turned out Qrow changed, Raven was always rougher than Qrow during school, but she was Summer's closest friend and after a few years I did fall for her." Tai sighed again.
"We had you soon after we left Beacon, Summer and Qrow continued to go on missions, but I stayed with Raven at home. Got a job at Signal." Tai paused and shared a look with Qrow.
"After you were born Raven started acting out, arguing more, disappearing for days at a time. Qrow found her visiting their family, the tribe and they had an argument about her being there." Tai felt Qrow put a hand on his shoulder.
"A little while later she left, just up and left during the day, when we went to the store with you." Tai looked down "After a week Qrow found her with the tribe, they argued again and she never came back."
Tai sighed "I wasn't in the best place after Raven left, Summer came to help me and help with you and just never left. After a year we kind of got together and the rest is, well, what happened. I don't think about Raven much, haven't for years."
Tai looked into Yang's eyes, "No matter the reason she left, she did, I could take, even accepted her leaving me. But she left you, her baby, I can never accept her leaving you. Never forgive her for that. But I think it turned out for best, if Raven stayed then Ruby would never have been born."
Ruby and Yang looked at each other. Their dad did have a point, Ruby was only here because Raven left. And Yang wouldn't trade Ruby for anything. She held the scroll in her left hand and wrapped her right arm around Ruby. Bringing her in for a hug.
Tai smiled at the sight of his daughters hugging. He really lucked out with them as his kids. The best kids he could ask for.
Qrow smiled at the wholesome sight and sighed picking up the story of Raven from Tai "So, the last thing is why Raven let."
Yang and Ruby, still in their one arm hug looked at Qrow. Qrow could feel Tai staring at him. "Growing up in the tribe we were taught that only the strong survive, only the strong prosper. Raven being the oldest child of our father… had more attention paid to her. Our father spent more time with her."
"I guess she took his lessons to heart more than anyone thought." Qrow paused for a second and in that time, Yang jumped in.
"How does leaving your kid show being strong. Isn't raising a kid the sign of strength?" Yang asked looking at Qrow with a raised eyebrow.
Qrow sighed "We were taught that the tribe was family, but that family bonds were a weakness. And that was one reason, the other was more complicated. She left because she decided that a life with a house and a kid and a husband working at a school. It wasn't anything she could see as showing what she considers strength."
"Though I think that she was just scared of how close she got to having a normal life." Qrow grumbled out, seeing Tai duck his head down.
"The other reason, was due to some missions we were doing at the time for old Oz, Raven had an issue of how the missions worked. Oz never liked killing and we had to avoid killing as much as possible." Qrow looked at Yang and Ruby.
"When huntsmen go bad, they can do a lot of damage, hurt a lot of people and the Kingdom councils along with the academies have teams that go out and capture the bad huntsmen. Raven always thought we were too weak, that showing people we would try to take them alive let our enemies know our weaknesses." Qrow said to the shock of Yang and Ruby.
"There were some other things, Raven had a list of disagreements with Oz and how he ran things. And then a few years after she left, after Ruby was already born, our father died, Raven took over from him and we knew she would never come back. That she would stay with the tribe." Qrow ended with shaking his head.
Tai nodded "We never told you, never wanted you to know, because Raven was never your mom. She may have given birth to you, but she never bonded with you and then left. Maybe she thought that her leaving would make you stronger. But we honestly didn't care. And you shouldn't either."
Tai then stared straight into Yang eyes "Raven was never your mother, never your mom, Summer was. And letting you know about her, especially when you were young. We didn't want that."
Yang nodded. She finally had the true about her birth mother. And she was so… unmoved. It was like Pyrrha said, that Raven wasn't something she would want to know. Someone that abandoned her brother, friend, husband… abandoned her child. Went back to hurting people.
Yang couldn't believe she wasted so much time, energy and emotions on Raven. Oh, and money too, information brokers were not cheap. All that effort for someone who left because a she thought life leading a bandit tribe was better.
Yang sighed "Thanks for finally telling me, dad, Qrow. I just wanted to know, ever since I heard you two talking about her. I guess I just thought she might have been someone… better… I don't know…" She felt Ruby tighten her hug.
Yang sighed again, she did have thoughts, dreams even of who her birth mother could be and why she left. Not that many over the last 10 years or so, but when she was younger. Ruby and her nearly died because of her dreams, ideas of her birth mother.
That her birth mother, the Raven was someone so… disappointing… Yang guessed she might be hit with other emotions later, but for now she was happy that she was disappointed…
Ruby looked at Yang worryingly, why wasn't Yang angry or upset or something. Ruby couldn't believe that Yang's birth mother was so… bad. Leaving Yang and her dad and uncle Qrow to go back to hurting people. Thinking that hurting people showed that she was strong.
Ruby tightened one of her fists. She hoped that they would never meet Raven or she didn't know what she would do. Leaving Yang like that was unforgivable in Ruby's eyes. Pyrrha's words of the future echoing in her head.
Tai sighed for what felt like the 100th time "Well there you have it kiddo, my failed first marriage… any other reason you wanted to talk?"
Yang shook her head "Only about Raven."
Qrow moved forward a bit "I am curious who told you about Raven."
Yang's eyes snapped wide open. She can't tell them it was a vision that Pyrrha had… Holy shit, Yang still couldn't get her head around the fact that Pyrrha's vision was true. Probably true.
Yang turned her eyes to Qrow, couldn't she lie, she was never good at lying to her dad "An information broker here in Vale had some info about Raven, the rest I heard from someone else. I can't tell you who they were. Heard it in Vale from another table at the info broker's bar."
Yang hoped they wouldn't ask her any questions. After a tense few moments and a shared look her dad and Qrow nodded. Yang felt Ruby relax beside her.
They talked a bit more about how Beacon was going and the upcoming midterms and then after saying goodbye she hung up.
The room was quiet for a moment.
Life changing conversation Eh, Yang thought. Then Yang heard Weiss snort laugh. Just once, but it turned everyone's head to her. Yang looked at Weiss "What's funny Weiss?"
Weiss knew it was inappropriate, but she couldn't hold back a laugh, no matter how had she tried. At Yang's question she laughed again. "Sorry Yang, I'm not laughing at what you must be going through. I just had an inappropriate thought come up."
"What was it?" Yang asked
"It was very inappropriate and mean towards you Yang, I would prefer we move on to Pyrrha's vision probably being true or finishing studying for midterms starting tomorrow." Weiss said, trying to be as dignified as possible.
Yang shook her head "It's fine Weissy, let's hear your inappropriate joke."
Weiss could see Ruby and Blake nodded, "Very well, don't say I didn't warn you, I thought that me calling you a barbarian made more sense now since your mother is a bandit."
Yang whistled "Wow, that was bad and mean. Wonder what goes on in you head."
Weiss grumble a "Well, I did tell you." Feeling Ruby's disappointed look on her.
"Anyways, the vision or midterm?" Weiss said trying to change the subject.
- Scene Break -
Red hair and green eyes watched the unfolding drama. Lives were at times needlessly complicated. But it was all going great, Pyrrha and Jaune, the last Nikos and Arc, were getting closer. Her confining in him more. He getting comfortable with her.
The other team, the troubled girls, were going better than planned as well. All kind of believing Pyrrha and wanting to confirm. The father telling the truth months earlier.
She could see the possibilities blinking out. So many bad possibilities gone now.
Red hair and green eyes smiled widely. She could not wait for the next 4 months to see what changes would happen. She was looking forward to the White and Black, Purple and Gold lights being shocked. She looked forward to the godlings coming back to a changed world.
Chapter Four End
Hope everyone liked chapter 4, it changed completely during review. We called it pillow talk featuring Pyrrha and Jaune or a series of bedtimes with Pyrrha.
We kind of just summarized a lot of activities during the days as we didn't want another 20000+ chapter and wanted to focus on Pyrrha for a chapter. With some Jaune and ending it off with team RWBY.
We hope that Tai and Qrow were okay and believable, they may pop up for larger roles in the upcoming chapters.
The next chapters will be the week of the midterms and the break week after midterms, when team RWBY runs into two friends. Some larger changes will start happening then.
The Huntsman movie chapter will be in a couple chapters, if anyone is waiting for that… no one… yeah we guessed that.
Just a continued reminder, this will not be the "Prime" timeline, we are changing when some events happen, as the timeline of show is not clear.
See everyone in the next chapter.
