Chapter One: Yami No Yume
Kenshin was a psychic. But he could only see into the future. His twin sister, Sana, could see into the past. He always wondered what adventures would come because of his visions. But one of his visions confused him. He didn't even know it was a vision. He just thought it was nonsense junk that he dreamed up. He didn't usually get visions in dreams though. And they usually showed the actual event; they didn't symbolize them.
The dream baffled Kenshin. He tried to ignore it. He was still trying to ease his pain, and thought that this was a weird after effect. He was trying to pick up the pieces of his shattered heart. It was only spring. It was May, actually. Tomoe died only six months before. The physical wounds healed already, but his heart actually was only 3/4th's fixed. He also knew that he may never be able to find the rest of it. Tomoe took those pieces with her.
The dream chilled Kenshin. He could remember it in full detail though.
-Dream-
A little girl who looked about six walked in a sea of blood. But around her feet, where ever she walked, the water was pure. She seemed to be looking for something. She found a piece of crystal. Then another. And another. Soon she had gathered a lot of crystal and started to put it together. The place was foggy. Misty. The crystal turned out to be a heart with chips all over it. She handed it to Kenshin, who was also standing in the sea. Her green eyes glowed and her jaw was set with strong determination. Kenshin wasn't sure why. The girl sprouted wings and flew away. Kenshin then dropped the heart. The blood turned to wood, so when the heart hit the ground, it turned to dust. The wind carried the dust in to the distance.

The dream was so confusing it made him dizzy.
Yami No Yume means a dream of darkness.
