A quick note: all characters are a mix of Spawn and Sonic characters.

Basically, a Sonic person wearing a Spawn outfit.

Example: Shal is Al Simmons and Shadow.

Just wanted to get that out of the way. Now back to the story!

Chapter 3: The Savage is born.

After the building fell on Shal and his brother, the world turned dark for Shal, and he felt empty, as if his soul left his body slowly...

After what felt like a few moments later, Shal felt the heavy bits and pieces of rock on him.

Shal: "What the HELL!? I should be dead! What's going on here!?"

He had no time to think. The rubble burying him was small enough so that he could dig himself out.

Shal: "Alright, hopefully I can get out of this."

He started digging upwards, pushing the rocks out of the way and pulling himself upward.

After a while, he finally made it out of there. No people were around, but there was some yellow police tape.

Shal: "How long have I really been here?"

He ducked under the tape, and hobbled his way home, bruised and bleeding.

Shal: "Agh!" He said as he held his chest.

Watching from a distance, the same red echidna was watching Shal go home.

When Shal finally arrived back home, he laid down on the couch as he shed a few tears, knowing his brother was dead.

Shal: "Why? Why was I so arrogant? I led my brother to his doom. Now he dead because of me!"

Shal eventually went to sleep on the couch.

*DING DONG!*

Shal got up and walked to the door, and looked out to see a hobo looking echidna.

Shal opened the door.

Shal: "May I help you?"

Knuckolistro: "I understand you had a life or death moment."

Shal: "What?"

Knuckolistro: "Look in the mirror."

Shal: "Huh?"

Knuckolistro: "Do it!"

Shal: "Ok you have to make like a tree and leave!"

*Slams door*

Shal: "Ok, what's in the mirror?"

Shal looked at the mirror and screamed.

Shal: "AAAGGGHHH!"

Shal fell to ground, horrified by what he saw.

His face was all burnt and crispy, had a few nasty scars by the crowbar, but what was really weird was the fact that his eyes were glowing green!

Shal: "What the hell happened to my face!?"

Knuckoliostro suddenly appeared behind Shal.

Knuckoliostro: "The reason you look that way is because you were killed by fire and the building falling on you."

Shal: "Then why am I not dead?!"

Knuckoliostro: "Because Shal, you are a Savage!"

Shal: "What do you mean I'm a Savage? I'm pretty brutal while fighting, but come on, that doesn't explain anything!"

Knuckoliostro: "You are part of a race of warriors called Savages."

...

Knuckoliostro: "I understand you are having trouble, so let me explain. Long ago, your first ancestor was getting really close to dying, so he got an idea."

"He found a rare fruit know as the Savage melon. It was also the last of its type. So the way it works, when consuming it, after one's heart stops beating, it mutates the blood into ectoplasam, giving the person 70 extra years to live, along with a myriad of powers. after him, all of his descendants spread through out the world, with many cultures and many time eras having there own Savages."

"As for me, I was a wizard from the medieval age, as a wizard I was abel to make a youth potion, that I take every 50 years , and I was a friend of the Savage of his time, and after him I decided to train the other Savages."

"And now it has come to you Shal, now you are the next Savage!"

Shal: "WHAT!?"

"You mean I am dead right now, and because my ancestry, I am alive again!"

Knuckoliostro: "Yes."

Shal: "Oh my god!"

Shal: "This is... wait! Why did my brother not inherent the power?"

Knuckoliostro: "Things in life are mysterious, not everything in life goes the way it should."

Shal started to ask more but Knuckoliostro silenced him.

Knuckoliostro: "Don't you want to know why you where gifted with these powers?"

Shal reluctantly said "Fine! Why was I gifted with these power?"

Knuckoliostro: "Come Shal we must train you on how to use your powers, for good."

Suddenly something starts wrapping itself around Shal, it is very tar and venom like.

It wrapped itself all over Shal eventually he looks at the mirror to find he is in the Spawn suit!"
