Camie's Comfort

Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here the story picks up where the last chapter left, in which Camie just heard what Midoriya said about Camie's impostor and now she wants to know more while at the same time wanting to ask Midoriya what he knows as well as to see what kind of boy is he.
All of these are happening in the midst of the school festival within UA Academy…

Ch. 3: Yakkaina jiko
Within UA Academy, Camie is having a good time as Midoriya acted as her guide as they toured the booths and is impressed at how things appeared, whilst the food stalls and games are well-made, and there she asked Midoriya if UA had this kind of event every year, in which he said that he heard it from the upperclassmen while admitting that he hasn't seen the previous events since he is currently in his first year.
Camie raised an eyebrow as she said that she had an impression that Bakugo and Todoroki are in their second year, but Midoriya politely corrected her, saying that Bakugo, Todoroki and himself are classmates and are in their first year in UA Academy.
Camie scooted closer upon hearing that Midoriya is classmates with the two aforementioned UA students, and asked him what he knows about the two, curious to know about them, causing a blushing Midoriya to tell her some details without revealing anything that might compromise his classmates.
"Hmm…"
"…"
"So Todoroki and Bakugo are first years…just like you…?"
"Y-yes…"
"So you boys are…15?"
"Actually…we are currently 16…"
"Really…?"
"Yes…"
Camie appeared to be satisfied and smiled while exhibiting her carefree nature, which slowly made Midoriya feel at ease, seeing that Camie, as in the REAL Camie, is nothing like the impostor, and though taken aback by her oddball vibe, he sees her as someone he could get along with.
Sero, Kaminari and Mineta were secretly trailing the two and are surprised to see that Midoriya and Camie are getting along well, and while Sero appeared to look bemused as he is curious to see if Midoriya could SCORE something from the Shiketsu High student, Kaminari and Mineta appeared suspicious as they wondered if Camie would take Midoriya somewhere and strip naked in front of him like what Sero said before.
However, Sero told the two that Midoriya already told them that the Camie who appeared NAKED at the recent Provisional License Exam was Himiko Toga in disguise, though Mineta reasoned that Midoriya might coax Camie to strip in front of him if he gets the chance, with Kaminari agreeing, and justified that they need to see if Midoriya intend to do that to Camie.
"I think this is Midoriya's goal…"
"I agree…"
"Come on, you two…"
"We need to see this…Kaminari, are you with me?"
"Of course…"
"H-hey…aren't you two…?"
"Don't be a chicken, Sero..."
"Mineta's right…we got to see…"
"That's not the point, you two…"
As the trio continue to trail Midoriya and Camie, they were greeted by Todoroki, Bakugo and Kirishima, and there the trio raised an eyebrow when told by Sero, as well as seeing Camie walking and talking with Midoriya.
Bakugo became curious as he saw Camie acting naturally around Midoriya and joined Sero's group to trail the two teens, and there Todoroki asked Kirishima what would he do next, which he said he will follow the others in case a situation takes place which might compromise the school festival, something Todoroki felt that Kirishima might have a point.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"You may have a point. Someone needs to keep Bakugo in line…"
"My thoughts exactly. We're the only ones who can do this."
"…"
"So what do you say, Todoroki?"
"We go follow them."
"Okay!"
Todoroki and Kirishima decided to follow Mineta and the others in order to make sure that there won't be any unnecessary fights that might disrupt the school festival as well as to keep Bakugo in check in case something, or someone, might provoke him.
As the minutes passed, things went well, and Midoriya was suddenly taken in by her oddball personality, yet taken in by her charms, and as the two teens chatted, several UA students were surprised to see Midoriya with Camie, and soon rumors started to fly as they suspect that the Class 1-A student is attempting to woo the Shiketsu High student.
"What?"
"Seriously?"
"That kid from Class 1-A?"
"I can't believe this…"
"He's actually dating that Shiketsu chick?"
"He's got guts…"
"He just wanted to show off again…"
"That brat..."
Mineta, Sero, Kaminari and Bakugo overheard the rumors spreading, and Mineta expressed envy that Midoriya is hogging the spotlight, which Kaminari echoed the same sentiment, though Sero is curious on what Camie would do should she heard the rumors, while Bakugo appeared neutral, yet he is somewhat curious as to what Midoriya would do from this point on.
Sero then told the others that Midoriya appeared to ACT COZY towards Camie, which Mineta and Kaminari saw Midoriya smiling and getting friendly towards the female Shiketsu High student, causing the two boys to get EMOTIONALLY BALLISTIC (in a comical way).
"N-no way…"
"Midoriya is actually getting too cozy with her!"
"I can't believe what I'm seeing!"
"This is unfair, Kaminari!"
"That Midoriya is one curly-haired bastard!"
"He's a SEXUAL MANIAC!"
"I agree, Mineta!"
"…"
Suddenly, a pair of UA students came and pointed out that Midoriya and Camie were stepping on a YELLOW CIRCLE, which indicates that they are CHOSEN, which made the two teens wonder what this is about, and a few minutes later, both of them are at the MARRIAGE BOOTH, where it is revealed that any pair, in which a boy with a girl stepping on the yellow circle would subject them to MARRIAGE, which is a mock wedding.
Nearby, Sero, Kaminari and Mineta stared in disbelief at what they are seeing, and couldn't believe that Midoriya would be THIS LUCKY, and when Todoroki and Kirishima arrived, they too were surprised at the turn of events. Moreover, the Class 1-A boys noticed that other UA students are all eyes on the mock wedding, and the gossiping intensified as many commented on what would Midoriya do; kiss Camie or turn her away.
"What? He brought that Shiketsu chick at the wedding booth?"
"For real?"
"That kid from Class 1-A? What the heck did he do?"
"I can't believe this…"
"He's actually going to KISS that Shiketsu chick?"
"He's got guts…"
"He just wanted to show off again…then brag to the entire school!"
"That brat..."
At the mock wedding ceremony, Midoriya blushed at the situation he is in while Camie seemingly did not mind it, and there a mock priest stood in front of them, where he began to OFFICIATE the WEDDING RITES, and there Camie smiled and told Midoriya just to play along, which made the younger boy blush deeper, yet he slowly did as told, and there the mock priest made the final rites which he asked the COUPLE if they consented to get MARRIED.
"Do you…Camie Utsushimi…take this boy as your husband…?"
"I do…as in DO."
"And you, Izuku Midoriya…take this girl as your wife?"
"I…I…do."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"In that case…I now pronounce you…husband and wife. You two may kiss…"
"Yummy…"
"!"
After that, the mock priest tells the COUPLE to exchange kiss, which Camie smiled and saw Midoriya taking a deep breath and hesitantly went near her, and she did the same, where both intend to just do a simple peck on the lips, but Midoriya appeared to be conflicted, as he is worried that he might do something that might upset her, as well as it might give anyone here the wrong impression.
Sero snickered seeing that Midoriya is starting to buck under pressure, though Mineta and Kaminari were irritated at seeing Midoriya holding back and urges him to get on with the FINAL WEDDING RITES and kiss Camie.
The other UA students followed suit and urged Midoriya to KISS Camie since the two are in a WEDDING BOOTH and they should get on with it and not stall anyone else who are next in line.
"Hey!"
"Quit stalling!"
"Just get this over with!"
"Don't be a chicken!"
"Go and kiss her, you brat!"
"You don't get a chance to kiss a hot chick every often!"
"Kiss her!"
"Kiss her, damn it!"
Midoriya was taken aback and panicked slightly, which he turn around, where he accidentally went forward, where his lips met Camie's which formed a rather passionate kiss, which the mock priest stared in surprise, seeing that it looked like a real kiss and wondered of Midroiya and Camie are a real couple or not.
Both snap back to reality, where Camie is slightly surprised, yet she just smiled, though there was a bit of a blush on her cheeks, while Midoriya blushed deeply as he got his first kiss, and had just made a passionate one to a an upperclassman like Camie.
The UA students in attendance witnessed it and are surprised, seeing that the kiss looked real, and are now wondering if Midoriya and Camie are dating for real or not.
"N-no way…"
"Midoriya actually kissed her!"
"I can't believe what I'm seeing!"
"Are they dating for real?"
"That Midoriya is one lucky bastard!"
"I say he's a SEXUAL MANIAC!"
"I agree, he is showing off again!"
"…"
Sero snickered at seeing this as the scene looked entertaining, while Kaminari and Mineta were shocked as they believe that Midoriya is in a relationship with Camie, and are in a state of disbelief that Midoriya kissed the female Shiketsu High student in such a PASSIONATE way.
N-no way…"
"Midoriya just kissed her!"
"I can't believe what I'm seeing!"
"This is unfair, Kaminari!"
"That Midoriya is one curly-haired bastard! He really pulled it off!"
"He's a SEXUAL MANIAC! No doubt about it!"
"I agree, Mineta!"
"…"
Bakugo just smirked seeing that Midoriya is in a rather awkward situation, but then saw Todoroki looking somewhat a bit concerned, and Bakugo asked why the worried look, which the son of Endeavor whispered to Bakugo about what Camie mentioned during the make-up provisional license exam: Shiketsu High students are not allowed to date.
Bakugo raised an eyebrow as he recalled hearing that, but said that Camie might not get penalized since this is a marriage booth and that the wedding is just a make-believe, hence he sees no reason for Shiketsu High to get concerned.
Todoroki nodded as he hoped that Bakugo is right about that, seeing that Camie is only here to have a good q time at UA Academy's school festival.
After that things went well until the time came for the school to end the festival, and as the guests leave, Midoriya escorted Camie towards the gate, blushing deep as he apologized for what happened, though Camie smiled and said not to worry, reasoning that she had a blast here and said that she wished that she is a student here.
"Really?"
"Yup. I had a good time."
"Um…glad you enjoyed."
"Yeah. The marriage booth is the best. It's too bad it wasn't allowed in Shiketsu High."
"Eh? Really…?"
"Really. I wish I were a student here at UA Academy. Well I had a really good blast. Thanks and a pleasure to meet you. Oh, here's my contact number. Can I…?"
"S-same here. Here's mine."
"Thanks."
Midoriya blinked his eyes at what she said as Camie left, and this made him wondering what was that about, yet he began to feel something towards Camie before deciding to head back to the Heights Alliance dorm.
However, a pair of eyes are seen, where the unseen individual appeared to be fixated towards Midoriya and Camie, and a voice can be heard, insinuating that the unseen individual is plotting something against the two teens.
"This is becoming a bit interesting. Looks like I better get to work and plot out something good for those two…"

Hope you liked this chapter, and while there's not much action, the spice of life elements make up for it as Camie wanted to know more about Midoriya and he slowly opens up to her and they began a slow friendship.
Moreover, both ended up at the marriage booth and made a rather CONVINCING WEDDING KISS right in front of many witnesses, including some from Class 1-A.
This caught the eyes and ears of the UA students and are curious about whether they are dating or not…
However, an unseen, potential antagonist appeared and seemed to have a fixated plan for Midoriya and Camie. This doesn't look like good news for our main characters of this fic.
